🌷Benny was the quiet kid of your school. You didn't know much about him, except he was a good student and apart of the gardening club. That was all, but Benny? Oh he knew you very well..

🌷you were stunning. You had such amazing hair that he wanted to play with every night before going to sleep, those stunning beautiful eyes that always ghosted over his form in the cafeteria, and your voice that always managed to make him rock hard down there

🌷 recently your family had gotten a wide assortment of flowers for an event. Thinking they were pretty, you asked for the florists name or any social they might have. They handed you a card with the info, and with that you looked up the account on Instagram.

🌷 scrolling through their posts you found a familiar face you'd see every day in the school halls. What was his name again? Benjamin? Beanie? No.. oh yeah! Benny! You didnt know he had such a good eye for aesthetics, especially flower arrangements. But that has to be expected since he spends all his time gardening

🌷the next time you saw him, you walked right up to his table on campus grounds. A bit far from the other outside lunch areas. He froze when he saw a familiar pair of shoes, looking up at you slowly with those big blue eyes

"y-yes..?"

"how much for a dozen roses and half a dozen tulips?"

🌷you became a regular after that. He'd wait anxiously every day for you in the plant nursery after school. He always gave you such cheap prices, claiming you were his friend and he only did favors for them. You thought he was sweet, so when you heard rumors about him being caught sneaking around the girls locker rooms and stalking a classmate? You shrugged it off,most likely empty gossip

🌷if only you paid attention to the red flags sooner.. you would have realized Benny's real nature. When he asked you out prom night, you agreed, he was sweet and you weren't seeing anyone at the moment. Who knew, maybe this would be the start of a beautiful relationship?

Pros with Benny:

🌹atleast he's a very generous lover. Spoiling you with what he could afford, since he came from humble beginnings he's always wise with the money you both have

🌹 he's completely devoted to you! Never looking at anyone else with love or lust, always worshipping you both in bed and outside it

🌹you learn new things. Like natural remedies, plants and their names, their usefulness to make nearly everything. Even drugs (He's vegan.)

🌹he wants to settle down and raise a family with you as soon as you graduate college! He gets tipsy and love drunk thinking about it too much. He'd make an excellent father. Kind of.

The cons:

🥀 randomly, he'll get very aggressive in bed. Biting you till your skin bleeds, slapping your chest and ass, degrading you with the most vilest words. Not to mention he seems to really like choking you till you almost pass out

🥀he doesn't know how to take no for an answer, he'll go scarily quiet and his eyes will turn dull. A complete contrast to how he usually is. Surely a little intimidation will make you change your mind no?

🥀 he's possessive with your time and love. If he ever notices you staring at anyone a little too long, who isn't friends or family he knows of, you bet there'll be missing person posters by the end of the week

🥀he forbids you from going into the basement. Saying it's his private nursery and you should respect his privacy, even if he doesn't respect yours

🥀 randomly you'll feel sleepy after Eating anything he makes you, growing drowsy and the last thing you can remember is feeling clammy hands hastily unbutton your pants and shirt

Nature is art and we, (yes you!) are nature 🖼️🌷🫂(U4)

I was never necessarily interested in going to art galleries as a kid, but man, did I beg to go to the museum. A building with a collection of natures finest treasures and cryptic oddities sounded like a fun place the second I learned what it was, but I guess the beautiful art of paintings and sculptures didn’t quite do it for me. Even now, I much prefer museums to galleries (incoming likely an extremely controversial take🚨🚨🚨), with my personal trips to the Toronto ROMs natural history exhibit and my experience of seeing the Mona Lisa and other works in Paris’ Louvre being almost equally as exciting. (I will accept any science nerd comments with dignity, I know my truth.)

Thinking about who I am to interpret both nature through art and the gift of beauty, I’ve learned to notice that my perspective in nature interpretation sits on the intersection of science and art. In my opinion, it’s crucial to recognize that when interpreting, you don’t have to pick one or the other since they often compliment each other tremendously. In this week’s readings, I thought the quote “Our ability to perceive quality in nature begins, as in art, with the pretty,” is a perfect summary of how I feel I was initially drawn to nature; but I suspect my strong personal preference to the living art comes from the many why’s and how’s to be asked of it. While the answer “because the artist thought so” is perfectly acceptable to me in most cases when inquiring about a painting or something, the questions begging to be asked by nature- like where it comes from or why it does something- inspire me to take part on a much deeper level. Furthermore, with an ongoing education in zoology, concepts like evolutionary theory sort of promote the “everything has happened for a reason” ideology in a sense , since the evolution of a trait had to have been advantageous to persist, making everything so much more incredible. To be so in love with nature is of course to understand not everyone is on the same page, as I could spend my whole life trying to convince others that the gift of beauty is in everything outdoors, but I’ll stick to just you guys for now 😊

To me, the gift of beauty that’s to be found in nature is so much more than aesthetic appreciation, and I’ll try my best to explain using the lens of ecological interconnectedness. If you immerse ourselves in the natural world to truly appreciate its beauty, you begin to grasp the intricate web of life that surrounds you and unveil the many interdependencies between species, ecosystems, and the environment as a whole. The beauty within a vibrant rainforest or a flourishing coral reef isn’t just about the “ooooooh so pretty” but is a reflection of an immeasurable amount of ecological relationships at play. For example, the relationship between pollinators and flowers where the bright colours and variety of shapes have evolved to attract specific bees, butterflies, bats, or birds. The beauty in this relationship is not solely for our visual pleasure, but a testament to the natural worlds dedication to live!

I really do think there's beauty in everything in nature, from the mundane to the exotic, whether common or rare almost simply for existing and so I wonder if there's a word in a language somewhere for this specific appreciation that I'm talking about?

15. What character would you beef with?

Azul because the way he uses your weakness and when you need the greatest time of help and has you sign a contract with him makes me want to fight him.

Don’t get me wrong, he’s not forcing you (well, he does have the twins and basically you have no choice when you do need his help). But, contracts and such used in dire need?? Gives me a bitter taste. Though I know he changed, just that beginning of book 3 still ticks me off lol That said, read before you sign kids always.

17 Favorite original card art?

General Lilia card, it was a card I always wanted for years when I got into twst. When it happened, I was so happy. My friends kept pinging me and it was such a great and happy moment. My wish literally came true.

If EN only, then Dance and Wishes. That card fits all the aesthetics I love.

18. Favorite groovy card art?

Oh this one was hard to decide, it was between malleus first bday and his masquerade card.

But for sure his masquerade card, dragon fae is asking us for a dance. That literally had my heart pounding.

23. Who do you most relate to?

Hmmm it was between Idia and Malleus. But I would have to go with Malleus. As someone who was always left out and always wanted to be invited, I feel his pain. People forgetting you? Even though you try so hard? It hurts. Yes, I am a introvert. But it doesn’t mean I don’t or won’t hang out. That I don’t want to be invited. Being forgotten in a room full of people hurts.

24. What club would you join?

Probably the board game club, because I like playing games. It would be great if they allowed me to play video games or my otomes though lol. But I do love to play group games.

If I could, I would make a reading club. Just read your favorite books and talk about them if you want.

I'm not really familiar with it, but I'm going to say water.

What was your first job?

Selling tickets for kids to ride these stuffed animals at the mall (they hop on the saddle and then the springs inside the legs make them go forward).

What is your favorite breakfast?

I rarely eat breakfast, but when I do it's usually chocolate granola with blueberries/bananas and almond milk. Or toast topped with whatever since I'm basically addicted to it, otherwise it's usually just lots of green tea 🍵

What's a meal from childhood that you love?

When I was little, my dad and grandpa would go fishing and bring back various itty bitty ones that my mom and grandma would fry up. They would be crunchy and salty and my mom would put pieces on the softest bread and interchange feeding my brother and I, those were the days.

What's your favorite joke to tell?

I love telling long, elaborate, filthy af jokes in my native language, most of them supplied to me by my dad, but I don't think they'd translate well to English.

What's your favorite animal to see at the zoo?

Otters 🦦💙 They're my favorite animal, I could watch them play for hours.

What's your go to quick meal to cook/make at home?

Fry up some eggs and add whatever I have around, I love breakfast food.

I am currently unemployed, hoping my next job will bring me my first truly affirmative answer to this question.

I can't remember a single kids tv show I've ever been interested in? Except The Tribe, but my parents would be dead then, so I don't think that's a good choice.

An adults tv show?

I was just telling my husband how much I love the bar and the community in Smiley today, so I'm going to go with that one.

What kind of job did you want as a child?

Teacher, singer/songwriter or writer. Got to do the first one for a while and I've kept the others as hobbies, so not bad.

Do you follow any sports? What team do you root for?

I used to follow my local basketball team cause it's the biggest sport in my city, now I transform into a soccer fan every four years for FIFA (mostly for the social aspect of tipsy game-watching and celebrating) and then go back to being clueless about everything.

If you could be any animal what would you be and why?

My bunny. Eating and sleeping all day while others pet me and tell me how cute I am? Sign me up 🐇

If you could be any mythological creature what would you be and why?

A fairy/pixie. I'd love to be able to fly and explore every nook if I'm tiny, the aesthetic is an added bonus.

What's the most obscure thing you've had to google for a fanfic you were writing/reading?

Scaffolding and all its formations when I wrote about Mickey holding onto an overhead beam while he and Ian fucked in public 😅

What Milkovich do you identify with most?

Sandy. I feel like we have a similar energy.

Which one are you actually like the most?

I'd honestly say her again, don't think I'm like Mickey or Mandy that much and don't know the rest of them well enough to have an opinion.

Ian, through and through.

I'd say I'm a combo of Ian and Lip, since I experienced his pressure to go to college and I also have a tendency to be stubborn/self-destructive at times 🙃
