if I tell you--another multimuse-- to specify a muse on a starter call and you explicitly do not do that or reach out to me to figure out who's the best fit, I will either not write it or it's just going at the back of my list of things to write As a fellow multimuse, I do have favorite muses that I can put out there. All I'm asking… if for you to pick the muse you are going to respond with. That's it. If you don't know that but know that you want to interact with a specific muse of mine? You can at least send that! That way, I can reach out and be like "hey muse a is going to talk to muse c. Is that okay?" You only need to pick ONE. I WANT to write but if you do not give me anything to work with or give me the impression that you are going to waste my time, I will slot that as a lower priority on my list. Okay, okay... So I know the entity in episode three of The Sounds of Nightmares likely isn't connected to Mono at all. There are too many plot holes and it perhaps has better parallels elsewhere. But I don't think it was entirely by accident that so many of us latched onto the idea.

For starters, Noone begins her recounting of the dream in this way. "In the dark... A hand let go of mine." This statement doesn't seem to connect to anything that was happening before or anything that follows. Hand-holding was a pretty significant aspect of Little Nightmares II. Mono and Six would give each other boosts to reach high places, catch each other when making a long jump, or if you were so inclined (and I was because it was cute) just hold hands as they walked along. Until of course that last scene. You know the one. In the dark. When she let go of his hand.

The second major connection is the Mall itself. A living structure, able to bend space and time, and give you exactly what you want if it means you won't try to leave. I believe that's what happened to Six in LN2. It gave her back her music box. How would it have known about that? Perhaps it saw into her mind. Saw something she wanted. After all, when we first find her she's sitting alone in the Hunter's basement just playing with it. Not trying to escape or anything. perhaps it would be enough to pacify her? (It's my theory that Six has been in Nowhere longer than Mono, and is, therefore, closer to the monstrous than he is.)

In the case of Noone, if we imagine it's the same entity, it seems its tactics and vocabulary have improved since Six's imprisonment. The illusions are more complete, less dreamlike. Perhaps as a side effect of being able to keep Mono. Learn from him. (Total headcanon here, but I like to believe that eventually Mono and the Tower begin to work as one.) It's also the only non-hostile entity (not counting the Nomes) we have met in Nowhere. It's just lonely. So terribly lonely. And who can blame it? If it grew from one little boy, abandoned in a deep pit by his only friend. (Maybe that's why his purpose as the Thin Man was simply to abduct children and bring them back to the tower. But I digress) But let's get back to Noone. Once she enters the projection booth, she comes face to face with the true nature of the building. A giant eye working as a projector, and a pulsating mass of flesh. The building is literally alive, and the image is instantly familiar to the listener.

The illusion even begins to tear itself apart at the seams when she tries to run. The same as it did for us in the game. Anyway, I'm not sure to what end these similarities exist. I don't think it was the intention of the showrunner that Noone meet Mono. But hey, I think we all felt like we'd gotten socked in the gut when we finished Little Nightmares II. So is it any surprise that we're desperate to see him again, in any form? To hope that he finds some kind of solace, even if only for a short time? I mean, I do. So even though it's not strictly true (unless stated otherwise by the developers) this is a headcanon that I hold near and dear to my heart. Like a beloved bootleg plushie. This is not to say that I disagree with, or even dislike other interpretations. Basically, It's just that Mono is my poor sweet baby child and I wuv him. 🥺

Gettin' Closer | Ineffable Husbands OPEN

Hello, I'm currently looking for a roleplay partner interested in pursuing a Good Omens related roleplay! I know I'm late on the season 2 bandwagon, however I'm forever searching for someone who is as interested in these two, just as much as I am.

For pairings I hope to further explore the dynamic between Aziraphale and Crowley, however I may be convinced to dabble into Nina and Maggie later on.

Currently I am only looking for those who are ABOVE the age of 19, as I am 22 myself and only feel comfortable roleplaying with those my own age. If you are younger, please, find your roleplay elsewhere. Otherwise, I will simply block and ignore your message.

I am a multi-paragraph, literate/novella style role-player, looking for someone who is the same. I've tried the one line thing, and I just couldn't get into it. Although I firmly believe in quality over quantity, my responses never dip below 5 paragraphs, and I only ask the same in return. On average I can write upwards to 1,000 words, replying regularly on a free day.

My time-zone is currently CST, though I don't have a preference for my partner.

As far as the roleplay itself goes, I'm heavily addicted to angst and the character development it offers. Darker themes and emotions, paired with the beautiful agony of an unreciprocated romance is just chef's kiss, and I only hope you agree! I love fluff as much as anyone else, however it just comes across as meaningless if there isn't a build-up to the event. I want their relationship to simply feel real.

That being said, I am completely fine with NSFW themes! However, I require a reasonable amount of build-up between the characters for this to happen. If it seems unnatural, then it's just awkward. It's meant to be the "cherry on top", more or less - not the main focus.

When it comes to ideas and plots, I don't have a lot in mind. Though, here's a few vague starters and word clusters to get us going!

Fallen Angel - One way or another, Aziraphale has been deemed unfit for heaven, and is given away to the boiling pits of tar and Sulphur. Was this warranted? Was he framed, or set up? Who knows! This is mostly meant to explore what happens during an angel's fall, and how their dynamic would change due to this. This could also take place after the ending of season two, and results in the angel seeking out his dear friend's help.

Season 2, take two - In this idea, the events at the end of season two are relatively the same. However this time, Crowley said yes. Why? Who knows! Could have been his undying love, or could have been something more sinister in relation to the Metatron. This idea is fun, and could explore the toxic relationship between Crowley and Heaven further, and how that effects his love for Aziraphale.

After the Kiss - This follows the canon events of Season 2, and is basically meant to flesh out what happens after their kiss in episode six. How do they rekindle that relationship? Does Aziraphale need Crowley's help? Does Crowley need Aziraphale's help? It's pretty vague and open to ideas.

No, that's not the case. I usually follow blogs who I've already had interacted with for some time, or blogs I had interest in and followed first. We roleplayed in the past but our thread died/you didn't reply/I didn't reply/etc., do you still want to roleplay?

First and foremost, if we had a thread going and I didn't reply for a while, please do let me know. I might have forgotten, given that I both study and work at the same time and my head isn't always here. That being said, sometimes I do prefer replying to some threads first than others, but I eventually get to everything. y/n can indeed be perceived as a little annoying and selfish right now and i'd like to explain her psychology at the moment - this is not in any way because i am offended if you don't like y/n or find her annoying sometimes, i did it on purpose. i just needed an excuse to talk about my character's psychology.

for starter, she's a people - or rather friend - pleaser, it took a huge toll on her, especially with the whole jaemin situation. like the conflict of wanting to follow your feelings and not wanting to hurt someone you consider as a friend. y/n is not a 100% clueless, she picked up on jaemin's intention but as someone who wants to stay loyal to her friend, she tries to not give into it, which is hard when she also reciprocate his feelings. this mess translated into a pushing-and-pulling situation where she wants to let herself go, sometimes managing to, a little bit, but still feel like she shouldn't, which ended up hurting everyone.

the trip put her face to face with her feelings for jaemin. she couldn't deny them anymore, especially since jaemin confessed. all the maybes became real, there was no excuse to hide behind anymore. it wouldn't have been fair if she accepted jaemin's feelings in her state of mind so she panicked and ran away.

taking some time for herself was the first thing she did for her and not for anyone else, even though someone got hurt. it may seem selfish on the moment, but for once, she put herself first. it probably wasn't the best way to do it but hey, we all make mistakes, right? let's hope she learns from it.

i hope you can understand what i meant, and i hope this is entertaining!

Hey, just a question I've been wondering for a while, I'm currently trying to start working out (depression and stuff) and wanted to know if you ever went to a gym cuz I need some advice please, is it better for beginners to start going to the gym 2 or 3 Days a week when they're just starting? I was just struggling with deciding sorry for being annoying

Hi anon!! Don't worry you're not annoying, I'll do my best to help! :)

Just a quick disclaimer though, I am not a personal trainer or professional in the field, just someone who grew up with a very fitness-oriented family and am currently being followed by a personal trainer as well.

As for the frequency of the workouts, it depends on your energy levels. Three times a week for starters is great, then after you get used to it (after two weeks or a month, depending on your comfort) you can start upping it to 4 days a week, then 5.

Now, keep in mind that workouts don't have to be really long. At the moment I do 30 min workouts because I'm still a bit unfit at the moment (recovering from long-term illness will do that to you LOL) but a lot of people regardless of health concerns can do it as well. Much like the frequency, once you get the hang of it you can incorporate more exercises per day and extend your workout time from 30 to 45 minutes, for example.

The exercises you choose depend on your health goals. If you wanna lose weight, then a focus on aerobics/cardio can be a good way to go. I've been told if you're a little sleepy a quick cardio session can help boost your energy. This could include going on runs, using a treadmill, elliptical machine, zumba or dance classes, biking, etc.

If you wanna tone up and/or become strong then a good mix of muscle-developing exercises can really help. I feel like these are super important even if you don't care about the aesthetics, because the strength it gives you is priceless. You feel like you can walk more, move more, carry more things, use stairs easily, etc. You just become so much less tired and less sore. It's awesome.

As for the types of exercises, that really depends on whether or not you're gonna go to the gym or try your hand at home workouts. Regardless of the two, you can google for exercises at home (or search on youtube) and at the gym you could always ask them to help you with a workout plan. Where I live almost all gyms make workouts for their members for free, but idk about other countries 😔

Now, this may not be directly related to what you asked, but I gotta stress that a healthy diet is fundamental to your goals and I don't mean that just for the aesthetics of it. Eating well can genuinely change how you feel, and it can give you so much energy. And I'm not talking calories, I'm talking the quality of the food. No processed food, fried food, junk food, all that nasty stuff. I could suggest googling, but most "healthy" meal plans people suggest are disgusting and bland and kinda bordering on crimes against humanity LOOL if this is something that interests you just ask for more and I can give examples and recipes and stuff.

Exercise isn't the end-all-be-all, but it really can help with you feeling a bit brighter, a bit more capable, a bit stronger or even a bit more attractive. The self-satisfaction of being able to lift more and more, to run farther and farther, that shit is such an ego-boost. It feels really good and it motivates you to keep going. And of course, if you build it into your life (try to work out at around the same time every time) it becomes a habit and that in of itself helps with internal regulation. You even sorta start missing it if you have to miss a session. Habits and predictability in your daily schedule are really helpful when it comes to mental illness. So while exercise isn't a miracle cure, it can really really help, especially when you add good eating habits and a good sleeping schedule into the mix!

Well, let's get the obvious out of the way: the bots are blocked as soon as I see them. I like to think Sonia is denying their visas for Novoselic herself.

But otherwise, there's really only a few things that make me want, or need, to hardblock someone. Mostly, I tend to just use filters as much as I can to weed out what I don't want to see. Mainly, certain ships I don't care for, excessive OOC (the OOC tag itself and some specific OOC tags on blogs because there's so much of it!), and some blogs I just prefer not to see on my dash but I don't really have a need to block. Just a personal preference.

More often, I'm just fine with unfollowing someone I either am not writing with or don't see myself writing with, usually due to inactivity or they've ignored asks and threads I've sent repeatedly. Only if there's a request to soft or hardblock in their rules will I do that: sometimes muns just want to read interactions I think, and I try to keep that in mind.

What makes me hardblock though? Usually one of these things:

Someone has pushed content, plots, or dynamics on me that I don't like or agree with, and I've brought it up to them that I'm not comfortable with the idea and it's ignored.

I've been sent hate, anonymously or by a specific blog. Whenever I'm sent hate to my inbox, I will just block the sender. When that's anonymous but they follow me anyway, that blog is blocked.

Someone has broken a rule that doesn't sit well with me, I've messaged them directly that 'hey, this isn't okay, maybe you could not do this in the future?' and it's still persisting.

But perhaps the most specific or petty, depending on how you look at it?

I tend to block chronic blog remakers/hoppers. And it's nothing wrong with a writing style, or content, or anything else. I just get annoyed when I see the same muns make and remake the same blog over and over again when it's due to the fact that they take on more threads and interactions than they can reasonably handle, get overwhelmed and/or find a new fandom they're into, discard everything, jump to a new blog, rinse and repeat.

It's understandable when it happens the first few times, especially when you're new to RP and/or tumblr. No one's perfect and it's easy to get really eager at first, wanting to write with every blog you can. But it can be hard to keep up with all of those interactions at a time. For some muns, that's fine: they like smaller, quicker threads and don't mind things being constantly dropped or deleted.

But I know my roleplay and writing style (and on tumblr, with this muse? it's been almost four years!): I prefer longer threads with a developed plot over a period of time. I may not be the fastest with replies, but I'll do my best to include plenty of detail and dialogue in them to, hopefully, give my writing partner something to work with and something enjoyable to write.

However, that approach just doesn't work with the chronic blog hoppers/remakers and after awhile, I just have to block them for my own peace of mind. There's only so many times I can send starters or asks hoping to build a storyline with them, only to have them be ignored or forgotten for a new blog/remade blog every few weeks/months.

Hi there, I'm trying to get into working with Loki. Aside from a shit ton of books that I have to yet read (been collecting titles and it's overwhelming) I don't even know what it means when people say "working with" the god they follow or worship.

What does it mean when someone says their god spoke to them or did this or that? My mind tries to rationalise things and I keep thinking people just imagine a scene or a scenario where the god in question is having a conversation with them. Meaning, I keep thinking people are creating said interaction themselves in their minds. I understand that may not the case, but it's getting in the way of me understanding how to even start.

Got any advice on how to understand better so I could finally start reading the books I'm supposed to read? (For some reason I need initial understanding before I dive into things)

This is a pretty difficult topic to explain, but I will do my best! I appreciate the ask, and you are not bothering me or taking up my time. 💚

So, we'll start with your first question: what does it mean when people say they're working with a god? This can mean a variety of things, really, and is definitely situational, but the most basic definition of this phrase basically comes down to the person and the god working together to improve something in the person's life. Sometimes people have a formal agreement with a god to help them with a specific thing, but I'd say, most times, there isn't a formal agreement, and the god is helping them achieve something. Some people also use this phrase to mean they're worshipping a god, but that's not the correct usage of the phrase. Hopefully, this makes sense!

Second question: what does it mean when someone says their god spoke to them or did this or that? This is VERY situational and delves into the private practice of that person. For some people, having a conversation with a god mostly just looks like doing a tarot or pendulum reading with the god. However, for others, they can have conversations with gods through meditation or astral travel, going to meet the God "in-person", in a sense. Other people are also gifted with what's called "clairaudience", so they quite literally are speaking with their gods. Conversations with gods look different for everyone!

As for feeling like people are making this up in their heads, I think the best thing to tell yourself is that you cannot judge the validity of another's experience because you aren't the one experiencing it. How these people converse with their gods hardly matters if it's not hurting anyone and is improving their lives. I would suggest doing some inner work to understand why this bothers you so much. Are you afraid it will invalidate your experiences? Do you think it seems everyone who follows the old gods as "making this up"? When was the first time you felt this way about a topic? These are some good starter questions. I simply can't take these worries from you, and this is very much something you will need to work through on your own. It sounds to me like you're struggling with a lot of doubt regarding this path of spirituality. My honest advice is to just dive into it and see how it suits you. If you like it, great! If not, that's ok! c:

I think the biggest thing to remember here is that you don't know how someone is experiencing something. You're just not going to be able to tell. And that's ok. Within life, there are things we can't understand or won't ever truly know, and although that can be difficult to accept, it's something we must all come to terms with. This is one of those things that you can't understand from the other person's perspective. My advice is just to be gentle with others, treating them as you'd like to be treated. Honestly, this is a really delicate and difficult topic to explain to someone, so I hope it came across correctly and doesn't start any discourse with anyone. I meant everything as kindly and sincerely as I could, so I genuinely hope you're able to take away what you needed to from this. Hopefully, I explained things well.
