Adventures off the mountain in France took us to a dodgy all you can eat Chinese restaurant and a beautiful lakeside town. Lake Annecy is a stunning little town a couple hours drive from the mountains. The streets are lined with so many shops and cafes. Hoards of people walking around taking photos, drinking coffee and eating crepes. There's a lot of old architecture just above the modernised first floor level, quirky old windows and questionable colour choices. This photo I took while enjoying a double espresso with my friends with the end of season in sight. I didn't want to have any tourists in the shot, so looking up I loved the contrast of the sky and the building. The shadow from the opposite side of the street adding another element.
