What do I mean when I say, "not all fruit is healthy fruit"?
Produce sold in stores are grown using a few different methods. However, only one of the methods is actually healthy. We as humans should only be consuming nothing but organic produce. This means making sure it’s naturally grown without pesticides and/or anything to genetically modify it (GMO). This also means your fruit should always be SEEDED and not SEEDLESS (GMO). Not sure how you can identify which produce is safe to eat at your supermarket? This post will definitely help you.

Feeling depressed and can’t get out of that funk you’re in? Try letting loose around the house by dancing to some music.
Opening our energy centers and maintaining their balance is so important. Dancing (especially moving your hips to the beat) is one of the easiest ways to open your root chakra. The root chakra is what connects us to home (Earth) and the 1st chakra. Also, the music/lyrics you dance to is just as important. High vibrational tones and positive lyrics help open the chakras and aid in raising your overall vibration.

We’ve been conditioned to believe that the only way for us to get protein is through eating animal flesh. That couldn’t be further from the truth. If you’re looking for a way to consume healthy protein, try incorporating the foods shown above into your diet regularly.

When I first became serious about my spiritual awakening (and journey), “Ego-Self vs Higher-Self” was one of the 1st things I learned about. The ego is mentioned in songs, shows, and movies… but do we REALLY innerstand what the ego is?
The ego-self is your conscious mind (basically in the forefront). It controls the way you compare yourself to others, your attachment to material things (such as money and name brand things), and feelings of entitlement. If you think of a narcissist and the characteristics they possess, you can see how they’re controlled by their ego.
Your higher-self, on the other hand, is your subconscious mind and is the complete opposite of the ego. Your higher-self is your center and is directly connected to source (cosmic consciousness). It controls your confidence (not to be confused with “cockiness”) and always encourages you to step outside of your comfort zone.
Now, there is always this big debate on whether we need to balance the ego-self or get rid of it completely in order to raise our vibration. A good amount of people will say that you need to do some self-healing and completely get rid of the ego-self. However, a good amount of people would also say that you cannot get rid of the ego-self and instead should balance it. I personally agree with the latter. Your ego-self is a part of you and honestly has good intentions. It’s protective of you but often goes about protecting you the wrong way. I believe that everything in nature operates best when balanced… and being that we come from nature, the same law pertains. Operating entirely from your ego-self will block you from stepping outside of your comfort zone (literally blocking your blessings).
What are some tips on keeping your ego-self balanced and in check? Keeping your ego-self in check is all about letting go of fear and taking responsibility for your actions. It’s something you'll have to constantly work on. I always say, It helps if you focus on being the person you want to attract (whether it be friends, your tribe, or a romantic partner). Think about the qualities you’d like that person (or people) to possess and try every day to possess those qualities within yourself. By doing this, you keep your ego in check, raise your vibration, and manifest your desires quicker (remember, we attract what we are).
