Omg I just realised how out of place Mikey and his beanie/glasses look in those ghost of you pics… everyone else looks like they’re from the WW2 era except for him because glasses in the 40s didn’t look like that and neither did hats hell I’m not even sure if beanies existed then (I’m bad at history) but those specs definitely don’t look like their from the 40s…

Also Ray’s hair too very few if any men had hair that long it just wasn’t the fashion/style back then… these things gives it away that it’s actually 2005 and not 1944

War Veterans / How I imagine Mama to look like if they made a music video for it but instead of WW2 it’s the Vietnam war (used these pics because it’s similar enough) anyway…

So I was watching some funny MCR misheard lyrics compliation videos on youtube earlier and now it's inspired me to also share my own personal misheard lyrics too. Had another strange dream about Gerard this time it was on social media, I contacted him on his twitter account asking him several questions as a fan and tagged him in it. One of them was to do with hesitant alien, the other current and I can’t remember what the last one was, I think it was a different era in his career. So I tagged him in it not thinking much of it and that he wasn’t going to answer. After doing so I also hop on the train to London with my brother.

Whilst on the train I get bored so I go on my phone to check and to my Suprise Gee has answered my questions that I asked him each and every one of them. In the dream state I’m overjoyed and screenshot them wanting to post and tell everyone that Gerard way answered and liked my tweets the ones that I asked him about hesitant alien and stuff until suddenly the train arrives in London and I have to get off and put my phone away.

So I get off the train at London. Unexpectedly at the station Gerard is waiting for me outside the platform by the concourse where the shops are. He looks like his 2022 reunion self. He greets me by saying Hi first so I greet him back we begin a small conversation which I don’t remember what it was about but I do remember the part where he told me to not post the tweets that he had responded to on social media because he wanted privacy, so I asked him if I could keep the screenshots privately as a memento in case I deleted my twitter account to look back on to which he responded it was more than ok to keep it for private uses.

The dream ended with me keeping the screenshots but deleting the tweets from my page in respect of his wishes. He was also really nice in person and text as well. The outfit that he was all wearing was the camo shirt with the black jeans but without the baseball cap so basically 2022 era and current Gee look pretty much.

Just saw a MCR poll asking what colours do you associate the main albums to be and there was a list of options for what colour you think it to be and here’s what I think.

Bullets album - Purple. Because the album has dashes of purple in it (I’m sorry I take things literally)

Three Cheers - Black, was considering saying red because of the blood splatter that’s on the demo lovers but went for black in the end because the demo lovers have black hair and the background of the album is black.

The Black Parade - This one was tricky. I was debating on selecting Black at first because of the outfits the band wore in WTTBP and during that era, it was literally black along with Pepe on the album cover and the font, they’re all black - but switched to white at the last second because the main album was mostly white and Gerard’s hair during that time period as well.

Danger Days - Red because of Party Poison’s hair. Although if I was using album cover for this one I would have went for blue since the desert is blue and Party poison’s jacket is blue too so yeah.

These are my thoughts and my thoughts only, you are free to have your own interpretation of what colours you associate with the albums. Just expressing my thoughts.

Had another strange dream that was MCR related this time without Gerard, I was on Facebook messenger and this random Killjoy messaged me. Killjoy as in MCR fan not the actual characters. Although the Killjoy that was messaging me was actually a party poison cosplayer.

So the random stranger/party poison cosplayer messages me in the dream with a photo of himself dressed as poison asking me “Do you know who I am? Do you recognise me?” So I reply and answer “of course I do, your party poison right?!” And they answer me “YES I AM PARTY POISON YOU RECOGNISED ME”.

I think they sent some other messages in the dream because we were talking back and forth on Facebook messenger. Anyway the next part that I remember was I met up with the Party Poison impersonator in person at their house and we had a fake gunfight with the guns that the killjoys use, they made a plastic version of the gun Poison and other killjoys use. So we was running around the kitchen like kids shooting each other pretending we were in a fight when we were grown adults

It finished there because I got woken up before it could continue any longer but that was my strange MCR related dream for the night.

When I see this pic of Gerard it always somehow makes me think of my own personal experiences for some reason (I think it’s mainly because he’s using a cane that’s probably what triggered the thought and memory)

When I was at college, my tutor noticed that I was autistic through the essays that I was writing… she claimed she noticed because the answers and the way I wrote my work was different to the other neurotypical students. Apparently the way I wrote and answered the questions was completely abnormal and not in the way a “neurotypical would answer it” in other ways it was something that she had never seen before.

When she said that to me my first reaction was shock of course. How could she tell something that I was trying so hard to hide through something as simple as an essay?! I also felt ashamed and embarrassed that she had found out my disability through marking my work. She then suggested getting another teacher to help me with my work… I, feeling very ashamed and embarrassed of course refused and kept on insisting I was fine.

Her tone changed at that moment. She said to me very sternly that “It’s ok to ask for help”. “Everyone can tell your different anyway”. “Think of the help as a crutch / walking stick, the help is like that, it will help you walk again. Without the help you will struggle”.

“Face it, you are disabled and you need the help. Do you want to carry on struggling without aid and stumbling? Or do you want to take the stick (the help) so you’ll be able to walk again or at least have something to support your weight while you do so. It’s up to you”

I of course refused it. It hurt me when she said that. She basically said that I was different to my other peers and that even though I could walk I would always need aid to be able to do so. In the end she just said “Alright if you say so. It’s up to you, I can’t force you to take the help but I really think that you need it and without it you’d struggle but if you don’t want to take it there’s nothing I can do. You can go now”

Now whenever I see this picture of Gerard with the cane I think of what my old teacher said to me and how I will never be normal unlike my other peers because I’ll always be a disabled kid. I know for Gerard he was using it because he sprained his ankle after FLW but for me it triggers this memory I don’t know why.

#it doesn’t help that my ex teacher used this metaphor to speak to me like that #now whenever I see pics of Gerard with the cane I think of this #If she never said that I would of never thought of it or been triggered by this picture #or maybe it’s because I like Gerard too much and now see myself in him

Reading fanfics about the patient is interesting in the sense that you get to know other people’s interpretation and thoughts about The Black Parade and the songs in the album and also what they interpret the lyrics and the patient’s story to be…

We know that the album is about the story of a patient who dies then goes through his memories before joining something called “The Black Parade” which is why the album is called “The Black Parade” in the first place but it’s still interesting to know what other fans think.

Having read a few I’ve come to learn that:

Some people interpret the patient to have been born in the 80s/90s but died in the 2000s, one fic had the patient die the year the album was made.

Another writer interpreted the patient to have died in the 80s but was born in the 40s

Someone else interpreted the patient fought in WW2 instead of 1 (like in canon)

And here’s me interpreting the patient to be born during WW2 or sometime around it and that he’s around his twenties and thirties when he joins the US army to serve in the Vietnam war in the late 60s and that he dies in the 80s/90s lol

But canon says the patient died quite young in his 40s (that I agree with) because in WTTBP the actor that played him doesn’t look that old (he looks about 35-36 tops) and that the patient served in WW1, you can tell from the uniforms and the gas mask that Mother War is wearing that it’s WW1

I have no idea where I got the whole Vietnam War head canon from. I just thought the whole album was set in the 60s for some reason instead of the 1910s-20s. This was before I realised it was set in WW1 because I hadn’t seen the The Black parade photos where Mother war was wearing the gas mask lol.

I just had a strange dream that I was at this MCR concert and before it began I bumped into this journalist that was interviewing Gerard. The journalist was asking him loads of questions and it was all going well until he (the journalist) asked one question that really upset Gerard.

Apparently Gee’s ex in the dream and real life (Eliza) had written this story and paper slandering him claiming that he was married to all these women including her and that he had dumped them all between the space of a year. The journalist then presented the paper that Eliza had wrote towards Gerard in the dream asking him what he thought of it.

Of course Gerard was upset understandably and he told the interviewer that as well, but the interviewer insisted that what Eliza wrote on that paper was true whilst smiling widely. Gerard just got so upset that he snapped at the interviewer saying “I wasn’t married to her, she was just a girlfriend”

Somehow in the dream I decided to open my mouth and speak, having had enough. I also said to the interviewer quite pissed “I’m a MCR fan and even I know that’s fake. Eliza was just a ex and a girlfriend nothing more”

The interviewer is left speechless and stops smiling at that moment as he goes quiet. I then turn to Gerard and give him a sympathetic smile. “I’m so sorry about that Gerard”. He then tells me that it’s fine and that he’s got to go and perform at the concert soon but he thanks me for standing up for him. I, of course say that it wasn’t a problem and that it was “nice to meet him” to which he said he will see me at the concert later.

The dream ends there as I walk to the concert floor and see Gee preparing the mic, ready to perform.

For some reason it was just him, the rest of the band was missing. It also was around 2006-2007 ish because Gee was wearing TBP costume in the dream with the black and white hair, also I was a lot older in the dream I was my current age and not my actual age at the time.

#it was weird af #he was nice in the dream though #it’s the second time I’ve dreamt about meeting him #a while ago I dreamt that I met him at a fan meet #but it was current day Gee #but yeah I know everything about Eliza #and read the crappy story on live journal #it’s still there #lol

I also thought Gerard was being strangled at the start of sleep. It terrified me as a kid that part. I was actually scared of sleep as a song. It wasn’t until when I was older and found out why he said all of that stuff and what really happened that I wasn’t scared of it anymore. Funnily enough it ended up being my favourite song from The Black parade lol.

Fun fact: When I was a kid I didn’t understand or know what the bombs at the start of Mama were so I thought it was about a circus. I just thought the guitar bits in the song sounded like something in a circus
