Why I think LOKI isn't going to have Loki and Sylvie get together

The director is Kate Herron, who is also the director of Sex Education. Sex Education has a LOT of queer representation. In no way is this me saying bi people can't be interested in someone the same gender as themselves. This is me noting how Kate Herron is very much comfortable having mlm relationships and characters

Disney is getting gayer.

Marvel has had queer characters in the comics for a WHILE

I think Loki was going to hug Sylvie. That is an important connection for most people. Also noting where his hands were. If he was going to kiss her I would imagine his hands would be on her face.

Mobius' jealousy of Sylvie.

"Courtship" -Owen Wilson

Mobius asks Loki if he genuinely thinks he deserves to be alone. I think having this line come from Mobius says a lot. They could've had it come from Sylvie, by having her look in Loki's memories.

I'm so glad there's going to be another season

You know what Good Omens does NOT get enough credit for? How it never, not once, makes gender presentation the butt of a joke.

Crowley presenting as female to be Warlock’s Nanny? The way this was filmed, acted, and written wasn’t made to be funny whatsoever. She was stunning, I loved the hat!

Pollution using they/them pronouns while the postman used the gender neutral honorific of sir for them? What’s there to make fun of? They’re royalty.

Archangel Michael, who has a traditionally male name, played by a female actress? Never questioned.

Lord Beelzebub’s androgyny? Only respect for the Lord of Hell.

Aziraphale sharing Madame Tracy’s body? Crowley recognized his angel and accepted it no problem. He was right about the dress too, it did suit him!

Crowley’s pure, unfiltered non-binary/gender-fluid energy in general? Fucking fabulous. Who could seriously make fun of this demon’s style? As someone once pointed out to me, you could swap him with Tilda Swinton and I’d see no difference. What an icon.

Good Omens is the first big show I’ve seen to basically avoid transphobia all together when the opportunity presented itself, and even say fuck you to the gender binary as a bonus. If the biggest binary in all the universe, Heaven and Hell, don’t give a damn about it then why should you?

You have my permission to write weirdly. Write out of order. Write the end before you write the beginning. Write your whole character’s biography before you make them the main character. Write one half of a story and then write the other half 10 years later. Write standing up. Write the whole scene in your head before writing it down in words. Perform the scene before you write it. Do whatever you want to and whatever you have to in order to generate work and enjoy yourself. Nobody cares. No one is watching you and no one will ever have to see it. Just write what you’re here to write and forget the rest.

Sometimes I reread one of my stories and find myself wishing I could write it again. Not because it was bad or I messed it up, for a change, but because I genuinely wish I could experience all those moments again, the way it felt and how the characters made the story go and how good that story was and how I wish I could recapture that and write something that good again.

Right after that happens, open Microsoft Word again and click File - Info - Manage Versions - Recover Unsaved Documents.
