“Fred calm down!” I hissed as Angelina, Katie, and I fought to hold my boyfriend back. “I’m not going to calm down!” he spat as he lunged forward, he ripped my Chasers glove off as he pounced on Draco. “Katie help!” I screeched as I reached for Fred’s left arm, she went for his right. “You...prick...” Fred growled at Malfoy as he kicked him in the gut. “Fred, stop!” I yelled as I looked down at my cousin who was bleeding. “Don’t tell me what to do.” he thundered as Katie and I finally pulled him back, Umbridge was hurrying our way with other professors. “Mr.Potter and Mr.Weasley get off that poor boy!” Umbridge shouted, George was now beating up Malfoy with Harry as Katie and I struggled to hold Fred back. “Angelina, Alicia, get George!” Mcgonagall ordered as they neared, the two girls nodded and went to George. “Ms. Lestrange take Mr.Weasley to the locker room, Ms. Granger you and Mr. Weasley take Harry.” Mcgonagall barked at us, Katie let go of Fred as I began to drag him towards the locker room. “Will you stop!” I exclaimed as he tugged against my grip, my arms were starting to get sore. “Stupid blonde...what an arse...” Fred murmured to himself he ignored what I said completely. I tugged him into the locker room and closed the door with my foot, I let him go as I stayed in front of the door. “Was that necessary?!” I demanded as he began to pace the room. “What, are you taking his side?!” he accused as he side eyed me. “Of course not! What he said about your mum was awful!” I said a little offended, he scoffed. “Yeah sure, then why did you try to stop me from getting to him?” he grumbled as he stopped his pacing. “Because he’s my cousin Fred. I didn’t want to see him get killed by you three.” I snarled and he narrowed his eyes at me. “Look who is finally living up to their family’s legacy.” he muttered as he stared me down, we’ve never had a fight all of your 3 years of dating. “What’re you talking about?” I snapped as my posture straightened a little. “You’re finally starting to hate us Weasleys. I wouldn’t be shocked if your secretly working with the death eaters. Soon you’ll be one yourself, if you aren’t already one.” he spat as he inched closer to me, I get all the color drain out of my face. “H-how could you...I’d never... Fred.” I chocked out and he gave a cruel chuckle. “Just admit it! You’re like them!” he roared as he got closer to me, I flinched as the space between us got closer. “I...” I tried but he shook his head. “I know exactly how you are.” he muttered as he looked down at me, he raised his to run it through his hair but I thought he was going to hit me in all honesty. I flinched again as I fumbled with the door handle. “I...gotta...go.” I managed out as tears trickled down my face, I could see regret in his eyes as I backed out of the room. I hurried across the field as I tugged my hair out of its ponytail. “Y/N what’s wrong?” Ginny asked as she ran up beside me, tears were still painting my face. “Nothing.” I muttered as I walked faster, she didn’t try to keep up with me as I stormed away. I let my hair fall down my back as I yanked my other glove off, the one for my right hand was probably back with Draco. I didn’t care though, I could get it later. I wiped the tears off my face but it didn’t stop them from flowing as I made my way back to the castle, the wind made my face cold as it made my tears feel colder. “Y/N!” I heard Fred shout from behind me but I didn’t turn around, I was to mad and embarrassed.

I sat by the fire in the common room with a book in my lap. It was a muggle one that Hermione got me for Christmas this past year, it’s my 4th time reading it. “Romeo and Juliet again?” a voice came from behind me, I knew who it was. “Yeah...it’s my favorite.” I whispered softly as I turned the page of the book, Fred sat down beside me. “Can we talk?” he asked softly and I shrugged a little. “Sure.” I mumbled as my eyes scanned the page, he sighed. “I’m sorry for raising my voice at you and insulting you. I didn’t mean any of those things I said, if I could take it back I would. I was just so angry and I wasn’t thinking.” he whispered as he looked at me, I just looked into the fire as I closed my book. “I know you didn’t mean it Freddie, you were angry. I’m sorry I didn’t really stick up for your mum.” I whispered as a tear fell down my face, he sighed. “Y/N are you scared of me?” Fred asked, his voice cracked as I looked at him with shocked eyes. “Of course not! Why would you say that?!” I gasped as a tear of his own escaped his eyes. “It’s just you flinched earlier...two times. I would never land a hand on you, ever.” he said in a broken whisper as I wiped his tear away, he looked so hurt. “Oh Fred, darling, I know. I’m not scared of you, I feel my safest when I’m with you.” I mumbled as he leaned into my hand. “I love you Y/N, I truly do. I’d rather jump into a fire than lay a hand on you.” he whispered, I pulled him close to my chest. “I know, trust me I do. I love you too Freddie, I’m not mad.” I whispered as I ran my hands through his hair, a broken sob left his mouth. “Shhhh.” I cooed as we sat in the empty common room, I could tell he felt awful. “I-I’m...sorry.” he muttered again and again. “I know love, I do.” I murmured as he cried in my arms. “Let’s just pretend it never happened okay? Let’s just put it behind us.” I suggested and he nodded some. “I’d like that.” he sniffled, I felt awful. “I love you Fred Weasley, don’t forget it.” I muttered as I rubbed his back. “I love you too Y/N Lestrange, more than you’ll ever know.” he whispered.

long time, no see

-you were one of the newborns jasper changed in his early years.

-once you ran away from maria you kept in touch with him.

-he asked you for help with teaching the wolfs and his family.

-he thought maria was his mate but when he saw you again he knew it was you.

-you don’t live with Jasper because you aren’t part of his coven, after the battle you want to move in with them though.

I heard Jaspers southern drawl as I neared the edge of the clearing. Hearing it made all of my memories of our past flood back, but just like a bed of roses there were thorns, meaning that even with all of our good memories there were still bad ones. I stopped at the edge of the trees and watched the familiar blonde pace back and forth explaining stuff about the newborns, it sent a shiver down my spine remembering those days. “And that’s how newborns are different than us.” he said ending his little speech. I stepped out into the clearing and slowly clapped causing all the vampires heads and wolves heads to turn to me. “Beautifully stated...couldn’t have said it better myself honestly.” I teased walking closer to him, he turned slowly so that his whole body faced me. “We’ll look what the cat dragged in.” he whispered crossing he arms and I stopped my clapping. “What? Do you still think so low of me to believe I wouldn’t show?” I asked as I raised one eyebrow. “Of course not darlin’, you sound ridiculous when you say that.” he responded as he wrapped his arms around me softly. I hugged him back without hesitation, I hadn’t seen him in a good 70 years and it was hard. “Miss me L/N?” he whispered as he pulled away from the hug. “You wish cowboy.” I murmured, smirking up at him. “I don’t mean to interrupt... but they want to know who the y/h/c is and I honestly do too.” I tall brunette boy said looking from the wolves to Jasper and I. “Right sorry where are my manners-,” I said shaking my head but Jasper cut in. “Stuck in 1911.” he mumbled smiling, I smacked him on the arm with narrowed eyes and he chuckled. “Names Y/N L/N, I came to help with the whole newborn thing.” I said sending a small wave towards his family. “Wait are you the Y/N L/N who got away from Maria and Jasper?” a short girl with a pixie hair cute asked and I tensed up...damn Maria. “Umm yeah that’s me.” I said with a slight nod. “We can do introductions later... we need to prepare.” Jasper said cutting the conversation short and turning to the wolves, I turned to his family. “First things first, never let a newborn get their arms wrapped around you.” I said looking at all his family members, and the human girl. “If you let them get their arms around you they will simply crush you.” Jasper added as he he began his pacing again. “Second rule, never go for the obvious kill.” he stated redirecting his walking. “Newborns expect the obvious kill, hinting the scars on my side.” I said with a small smile and I heard Jasper give a slight chuckle, we always joked about our scars. “Anyways let’s get started, Y/N you want to go first?” he asked as he stopped his pacing and I nodded. “Absolutely...” I murmured pushing my sleeves up. “Alright then pick your partner.” he said motioning towards his family and I turned to the biggest one. “You, muscle man, bring it on.” I said pointing at him. “You sure shortie?” he asked stepping forward and I smirked. “I wouldn’t tease her Emmett.” Jasper said with a chuckle and Emmett rolled his eyes. He positioned himself so he was in front of me and we both bent into a crouching position. “Don’t hold back big guy.” I cooed and he smirked. “Not in my nature sugar.” he muttered back, then we were running. He lunged to tackle me and I jumped over him earning a growl from him, as I smirked I ran around him in a bunch of circles to confuse him. After maybe the 10th circle I darted up a tree which he didn’t see, he looked around confused as I smiled. “Hey, where’d she go?” he asked kind of annoyed. I jumped down from the tree and onto his back hanging on to him tightly. He flinched in shock and I gave his head a pat. “Gotcha Cullen.” I said simply and he pushed me off his back. “Whatever.” he grumbled as he walked back to his family. “What happened was Emmett lost focus, so I got the upper hand.” I said pulling my sleeves back down smiling. “I let you win.” I heard him grumbled and I rolled my eyes. “Sure you did pretty boy.” I responded walking to Jasper and he flipped me off. I was gonna be great friends with him.

“Damn.” I grunted as Jasper held me in a head lock. “Y/N went for the obvious kill, a rookie mistake, so I got the upper hand.” Jasper said not moving his arm. “I didn’t go for the obvious kill, you just know how I fight.” I argued and I heard Emmett chuckle. “Sure beautiful, sure.” he said to me just like I had to him, so I happily flipped him off. “Alright everyone, that’s enough for today.” a tall blonde man said from beside a brunette lady. The wolves bowed their heads and left, Edward left with the human, and I unwrapped Jasper arm from my throat. “Might want to switch your moves up.” Jasper commented as I stood up straight. “Yeah whatever. Now be a gentleman and introduce me to your family.” I said smiling at the blonde and he nodded grabbing my hand. “Well everyone this is Y/N L/N, or Y/N Whitlock I should say.” Jasper said smiling as we neared his family. “So this is your mate.” a tall ginger said with a small smile and Jasper nodded. “Good to know you mentioned me.” I said with a small smile. “He always talks about you, he just never gave us a name.” a blonde girl said and I nodded. “That was my idea, I knew I’d meet you all one day so I didn’t want you all to know so much about me. I thought it would be nice to get to know each other, me about you, you about me.” I said with a shrug and the pixie haired girl beamed. “Well hello then! I’m Alice, and may I say your hair is to die for.” she said wrapping her arms around me. I chuckled and hugged her back, “Well hey there Alice”. I whispered. “I’m Rosalie, Emmetts mate.” the blonde girl said sticking her hand out after Alice let go of me. I shook it and gave her a small smile which she returned. “I’m Carlisle and this is Esme.” the blonde man said and I gave a small wave to them. “And I’m Andrew, Alice’s mate.” the ginger said and I nodded. “Got it. I may forget, so please be patient with me.” I said with a slight chuckle and Esme nodded. “Of course sweetheart. Let’s go back to the house so we can get to know you better.” she said with a soft smile and I sighed. “That sounds perfect.” I whispered, Jasper swept me into his arms bridal style earning a small squeak from me and he chuckled. “Alright then, lead the way everyone.” Jasper said nodding his head towards the trees and they all started running. I’m just a few short moments I was in their home, it was nice and comforting which made me smile. “You can put me down now Jas.” I said ruffling his blonde hair as he closed the door. “If you insist.” he said sitting me on my feet carefully. “Come, come! I want to hear all about you.” Alice exclaimed grabbing my hand and leading me to the couch. “Well what do you want to know?” I asked as we sat on the couch, everyone else following us. “About your past, where you live, your human life.” she gushed as Jasper sat next to me. “Well as a human I was really good in school, I was always top of my class. I actually went to Yale for 2 years with my at the time boyfriend, he was a douche.” I said shaking my head with a slight frown, calling him a douche was putting it nicely. “Jasper turned me actually, I was 22 at the time I believe. I fought with their army for three years, Maria didn’t want to kill me right away since I was smarter than the others. During one fight I was attacked by 11 newborns at once and I almost lost my life, after that I told Jasper I couldn’t do it anymore so he helped me get away.” I whispered looking at my lap, everyone was quiet. “I live in Colorado, I’m not in a coven or anything so it’s pretty lonely.” I said with a shrug looking back up at the others. “That’s basically all.” I said and Alice frowned. “11? At once?” she asked and I nodded, I lifted my sleeves up and moved my hair to reveal my neck. “Holy shit.” Emmett murmured and I nodded. “I thought she was dead by the time I realized what happened.” Jasper murmured and I rubbed his leg. “But I wasn’t, I’m fine. I do need some rest though, mind if I lay down? We can talk more later.” I whispered looking at Alice and she nodded. “Of course, we can talk more tomorrow.” she said and I nodded.

“I know that was hard for you...talking about the past.” Jasper whispered a she held me in his arms. “It’s okay...I mean I am your mate and you are their brother, they should know what I’m like and what I’ve been through.” I said with a shrug and he kissed my head. “True. So how was the trip from Colorado?” he asked as I shifted and wrapped my arms around his middle. “Long. I was glad to come here though, I get lonely there.” I mumbled and he frowned. “Are you going to join a coven?” he asked and I looked up at him. “I was thinking about maybe joining this one.” I whispered and his face broke out into a huge smile. “Really?! That would be amazing!” he exclaimed pulling us up into a sitting position. “I just don’t want to be a burden...” I whispered and he shook his head looking at me. “You wouldn’t be a burden darlin’, and if you were they’d still want you here.” he assured me. He pulled me into a kiss, pressing his soft lips on mine and I happily kissed back. Even though we didn’t need it we both pulled back for some air and I held his face in my hands. “I really missed you love, like a lot.” I whispered as I caressed his cheek. “I missed you more Mrs.Whitlock, now make it storm so we can cuddle.” he said and I smiled brightly, I turned my head to his window and narrowed my eyes. My extra power was changing the weather so I made it go from cloudy to stormy in 2 seconds. We laid back down and he pulled me close to him. “I love you Jasper.” I whispered kissing his neck. “I love you too Y/N. Promise me one thing.” he whispered and I looked up at him playing with his soft curls. “Anything.” I mumbled. “Never leave me again.” he said softly and I smiled. “I wouldn’t dream of it.” I responded and he placed a soft kiss on my lips. I nuzzled into him and sighed, he really was the only one for me.

I let a chuckle escape through my lips as I walked beside Bella and Edward down the hall. “C’mon Y/N, you know it’s true.” Bella said elbowing me in the ribs lightly. “S’not true. He wasn’t drooling. He was just... shocked?” I said making her and myself laugh. “You don’t want to know what he was thinking.” Edward said smirking as he looked at me. “Oh shut up Edward, you disgusting perv.” I said with a smile, Bella wiped her eyes that got wet from laughing so hard. “Look all I’m saying is that he was imagining you ti-,” he started and I threw my hand over his mouth. “Okay, okay, enough.” I groaned and he took my my wrist to remove my hand from his mouth. “It doesn’t take a mind reader to know what he was imaging.” Bella said from the other side of Edward. “And to believe you are my best friend Swan.” I said shaking my head and she rolled her eyes playfully. “Look it’s your class, so go.” Edward said pushing me a little towards the Math room. “Fine. Bye Bells, bye perv.” I said smirking and Edward took his hand and pushed my head in a sibling manor while Bella waved at me. “See you at lunch Mrs.Newton.” she teased and I made a gagging noise as I stuck my finger at my mouth, her and Edward laughed before they walked away. I turned around and huffed, I hated math.“You’re late Ms.Cullen.” the teacher said as I walked through the door. “Should I apologize?” I asked smiling at her and she frowned. “I thought your mother would’ve raised you better than that.” she murmured. “And I thought going to college and getting a degree made you smart. Guess we’re both wrong.” I said with a shrug and I heard Emmett give a low chuckle. “Take your seat. Now.” she snapped and I saluted her before walking to the empty seat beside Emmett. “You are such an asshole.” he whispered to me with a wide smile on his face as I slid into the seat. “I’ve had 78 years to learn from the best.” I said looking at him and he grabbed his notebook and hit me on the head. The sound was not loud but the people near us probably thought he just smashed a pan on my head. “Bitch.” I grumbled at him and he winked at me. “Cullens! Get yourselfs together or I’m calling your father! You two know he’d be very disappointed.” the teacher snapped again from the front of the room. “If you want to call him I can give you my phone.” Emmett said from beside me. “Or you can use mine! It’s red and has a cute little ringtone.” I said after him darting my eyes at the teacher. “Out of my class both of you!” she screeched. Emmett and I stood up slinging our bags over our shoulders. “Bye teach. See ya Monday.” I said as I strode by her. “Or not.” Emmett added behind me winking at the teacher. As soon as we were in the hallway he gave turned to me smiling. “Sweet.” he said raising his fist for a fist bump. “Right? Hope she doesn’t call Carlisle though, that’s the 5th time we’ve pulled a stunt like that this month.” I said smiling at my big brother as we started to walk down the hall. “Who cares, we’ve been taking classes like that for 50 years.Let’s go relax before lunch.” he said and I nodded. “Your smart.” I murmured and he chuckled. “Why thank you.” he responded.

“There they are.” Alice said looking up as Emmett and I walked closer to the table. “I don’t like the way you said that.” I said to my sister as I sat next to Jasper, my mate. “You’re in big trouble darlin’.” he said as I rested my head on his shoulder. “Oh yeah? And why’s that cowboy?” I asked and he chuckled. “We heard your smart remarks towards the teacher.” he said and I sighed. “Not just mine, you heard Emmetts too.” I commented looking at my brother. “Oh of course we did, but you’re going to get in more trouble with Carlisle than Emmett is.” Alice said smirking and I groaned. “How bad?” I asked and Edward smirked. “We’re talking 4 lectures at once bad.” he said and I groaned again. “Please, please, please tell me he isn’t making me-,” I started but Rosalie finished. “Apologize to the teacher and by her a bouquet of flowers. Yep, he is.” she said and I nuzzled my head into Jaspers neck. “Take me to the Volturi.” I muttered and they all laughed. “I want to know how bad Emmetts getting it.” Bella said laying her head in the palm of her hand. “Yeah I’m with her! Take the steam off me!” I exclaimed taking my head off of Jasper looking up with a smile. “He’s only getting one lecture and he has to simply apologize.” Jasper said and I huffed. “I don’t the vibes here even though I’m next to Jasper so I’m excusing myself to go... I don’t know to the car I guess.” I said with a shrug. I got up and Jasper did too, I looked at him with furrowed brows and he laughed. “What? It’s not like I’m going to eat anything.” he said smiling. Bella have a small giggle along with Alice as he grabbed my hand softly and lead me out of the cafeteria. “You have to admit some of remarks were funny.” I said with a shrug and he laughed quietly. “Yes I will admit one of them had me laughing during my history test. But was it worth it?” he asked looking down at me and I nodded. “Obviously, c’mon I’ve dealt with angry Carlisle before. Remember?” I asked and he nodded. “How could I not darlin’? It was the highlight of my 1947.” he said smirking and I punched him lightly, well as lightly as a vampire with non-human strength could. “It was hilarious. You jumped from the stands onto the Yankees baseball field screaming, ‘Let me pitch! Let me pitch!’ and ‘C’mon my grandma can hit the ball better than you!’” he said mimicking my voice, his accent poking through at points. “Hey, I was just telling the truth.” I said with a shrug and a giggle. “Carlisle was so mad, you know he still refuses to ever go to New York again? He says he’ll never do it. He even stopped watching the Yankees!” Jasper exclaimed and I started laughing really hard. “He did... didn’t...he.” I said in between laughs while Jasper laughed with me. After a second out laughter settled and I sighed shaking my head. “What if this was the last straw? What if he kicks me out of the coven?” I asked suddenly getting worried, I’m not necessarily bad I just like making jokes and teasing people, Carlisle knew that. “He would never do that.” Jasper whispered as we walked hand in hand in the opposite direction of the jeep. “Jasper you don’t know that. He may think I’ve gone reckless. Oh god what if he sends me to Tanya?!” I asked, my left hand rising to my mouth. “He knows you don’t get along with her, he’d rather send you to the Irish coven.” he said smirking and I frowned. “He wouldn’t do that sweetheart, if he did he’d be losing me too.” he whispered softly and I looked up at him. “Really?” I asked and he nodded bending down to plant a soft cool kiss to my lips. “Of course.” he murmured, leaning back. I smiled at him as he started to lead us to the library after our sudden stop for the kiss.

“I’m not interested Mike.” I said in a sing song voice as I walked out of the school, Mike Newton on my tail. “Oh c’mon Cullen, leave your creepy blonde for one evening and I’ll my you fall for me.” he said as I walked to Bella’s car, I didn’t want to lead Mike to Jasper. “Sorry all my evenings are booked.” I said with a shrug and he huffed. “Have you always played hard to get?” he asked and I came to a stop and turned sharply to him. “I’m not playing hard to get. I have a boyfriend and you need to respect that.” I snapped and he smirked. “She’s feisty.” he said and I bawled my hands into fists. “And he’s an ass.” I growled and he chuckled. “I’d like to see that ass.” he said and I raised my hand up. Before my hand could make contact with his face strong arms were around me. “Shhh stand down.” Edward whispered softly. “What did you say to my little sister?” Emmett asked as he softly pushed Edward and I aside. “N-nothing.” Mike stuttered looking up at my older brother and frowned. “Oh I think you did. Come with me pretty boy.” he growled before taking Mike by the arm and dragging him away. “And you come with me.” Jasper grumbled taking my hand and yanking me from Edwards grip. He lead me across the parking lot and to Emmetts jeep, he was so angry you didn’t need his power to tell. He let go of my hand and climbed into the driver seat as I walked to the passenger side. “Jasper...” I whispered and he shook his head. “Maybe he was right! Maybe you should leave your creepy blonde boyfriend...or husband I should say!” he shouted as he started the vehicle and angrily pulled out of the parking space. “I’m sorry but do you hear yourself?! You sound insane!” I shouted and he scoffed. “Do I sound insane or do I sound smart!? Maybe you should go home and destroy your wedding ring, then call up ol’ buddy back there!” he spat and I shook my head and crossed my arms. “You really think I’d leave you. I expected you to think higher of me.” I growled and he pushed harder on the gas pedal. “Maybe you should leave, you obviously deserve better. Maybe not Newton but better.” he growled and that was all it took. “Stop the car.” I ordered but he didn’t listen. “No.” he shot back. “STOP THE DAMN CAR JASPER!” I shouted and he slowed to a stop pulling to the side of the road. “What?” he growled. “I’m not having this pointless fight with you. I don’t know who screwed with your damn mind but Id rather turn myself into the Volturi and have them murder me than be with anyone else.” I said quickly. “But-,” he started but I shook my head. “You listen here cowboy, I didn’t sign up for you putting yourself down. You are the best man I’ve ever came across us and I’ll be damned if I let some white washed Forks boy change your mind! I love you Jasper, I always will! There won’t be a second that goes by that I don’t love you! So I’m not going to sit here and have this stupid fight with you because you think I don’t love you! I love you like a human likes air, like a bear likes honey, like... like Alice likes shopping. Okay, so get that through your thick skull!” I said looking him dead in the eyes. He let a strangled sigh leave his lips and he nodded. “You’re right. Love, I’m sorry I got that way you didn’t deserve it. I love you more than anything and I just didn’t like seeing someone else try to match their love of you to mine. Please forgive me.” he whispered lookingat me with his round honey orbs. “Of course I forgive you. Now come here.” I said opening my arms and he hugged me across the console. “I love you.” I whispered kissing the side of his head. “I love you too angle.” he whispered rubbing my back. We never fought, but when we did it always ended with us in each other’s arms, and honestly I wouldn’t have it any other way.

“Oh c’mon Mrs.Clark you know you want to make me some of your famous mashed potatoes.” I teased the old women I’ve know since I was a kid as I rung her groceries up. “Sweetie just swing by sometime you know I’ll make them for you, have been since you were 4.” the old women said and I chuckled. “You have a point. That’ll be $32.67 ma’am.” I said as I bagged her milk. As she opened her purse to get the money the door opened with a little jingle. I looked over and saw Embry with Jake and Paul so I waved. “Hey sis. Hello Mrs.Clark.” Embry greeted as he walked over to us. “Oh hello there dear.” Mrs.Clark smiled as she looked up at Embry. “Hey guys, what’re you all up to?” I asked taking Mrs.Clarks cash and putting it with the rest of the money. “Not much, Emily sent us to get groceries.” Jacob said frowning and I chuckled. “Here Mrs.Clark $5 change.” I said handing her the bill back and she smiled. “Thank you sweetie, come stop by sometime.” she said and I nodded. “You know I will, Em can you help her with her groceries?” I asked my brother and he nodded grabbing some bags. “My goodness boy I didn’t think you could grow any taller.” I heard Mrs.Clark mutter to Embry as they walk to the door. I shook my head and smiled. “So what’s Emily cooking tonight?” I asked looking back at the duo. “Steak, well at least we think.” Paul said and I nodded. “Well looks like you all will be well fed.” I said as I sat down on the little stool I had. “Are you not coming?” Jacob asked and I shook my head. “Gotta work double shift here, I’ll probably just grab some chips and a pop.” I said with a shrug and Paul frowned. “Don’t be stupid, I’ll bring something down for you to eat.” he said and I sighed. “You don’t have to do that Paul.” I whispered as I stood up. “Yeah Paul she can live off Doritos if she pleased.” Embry said as he walked back over to us. “Well will you get a break at all?” Jacob asked and I nodded. “A 45 minute one in about... two hours.” I said looking at the clock on the wall. “Well have fun with that. We need to get groceries or Emily won’t feed us.” Embry said before turning around and walking down aisle 7. “Well go on, I’ll be here when you come back.” I said nodding towards aisle 7 and the other two followed Embry. I hummed quietly to myself as I pumped some hand sanitizer into my palm. As I rubbed it in the door opened once again signaling the bell, it was a group of kids from Forks who I knew only because I ran into them on the beach once. “Hey Y/N.” Jessica said waving at me and I gave a small one back. “Hello Jessica, you all having your annual beach trip?” I asked as some of the kids went to go pick out snacks. “Of course, it’s spring break baby.” Mike said walking over to the register. “Oh yeah, it is isn’t it.” I mumbled, truth was I totally forgot. “So you gonna make an appearance? Hang with us for a little while?” he asked leaning on the counter and I shook my head. “Can’t, I’m working double shift.” I answered as I took a seat on the stool. “Oh c’mon girl, just ditch.” he said and I frowned. “I can’t, I’ll lose my job.” I said and he rolled his eyes. “You’re such a goody goody. Just stop by for a minute.” he replied. I opened my mouth to say something but it looked like someone else already had that covered. “She said she can’t.” Embry said walking up behind Mile holding some things I’m guessing Emily needed. “She knows she wants to come.” Mike said standing up straight. “I don’t think she does pretty boy, I think she’d rather be here working than with you.” Paul grumbled pushing Mike to the side and sitting some things down. “I bet she’d rather hang out with me than you.” Mike responded eyeing Paul. “Is that so?” Paul asked turning sharply to Mike his figure tense. “Paul...” Jacob warned and Paul shook his head. “Go ahead then pretty boy ask her, I’m sure she’d rather labor away than spend an hour with you.” he spat. I didn’t look up as I quickly scanned and bagged the groceries. “Well Y/N? What do you have to say?” Mike asked crossing his arms and I looked up with heated cheeks.

“Umm well I say that Embry owes me $34.28 and possibly a small tip.” I said giving a shy smile to my brother. He pulled his wallet out and got the money while I looked at Mike and Paul. “I’d rather work since I’m getting paid. Christmas present don’t by themselves.” I whispered softly to Mike. “Well would you rather hang out with this jerk?” he asked pointing to Paul. I could see Paul start to vibrate in the corner of my eye. “I really don’t know you that well Mike. S’not like I hate you but I love Paul and the others.” I said quickly leaving his eyes and to Embrys. He handed me the money and I quickly took it trying to focus on getting his change. “Whatever.” Mike said turning and walking down a random aisle. “Nice one.” Jacob said and I flipped him off while handing Embry his change. “Be careful or Ill make sure Paul doesn’t bring you steak.” Jacob said smirking and I huffed. “Whatever. Now scram you three before you make me say the words ‘I love’ again.” I said smiling at them. “Alright bye sis.” Embry said walking away with the grocery bags with Jacob and Paul behind him. Jessica and a few other people brought the snacks up to the register and I quietly scanned them. “Here’s you change Angela. Come say goodbye before you leave.” I said giving her a small wave, “Of course. Bye Y/N.” she said happily before walking out of the store. As the bell rung I sat down on my stool and grabbed my little purse. I got my copy of Pride & Prejudice and opened it to the page I stopped on. It didn’t take me long to get wrapped up in the book, it was a nice setting with the dim lights and the cool air blowing in through the open window. I bit the side of my cheek as I read the page but was interrupted by a random thought. Why was Paul being so...jealous today? He kind of sounded offended too when I said I’d just eat chips for dinner. Weird. I pushed the thought out of my head and refocused on my book ,only an hour til my break.

The door opened as I was sweeping aisle 4 and I sighed. “Welcome! If you need any help just shout or find me.” I said raising my voice a little bit. I continued to sweep, my dust pile growing bigger and bigger when I heard someone clear their throat. “Delivery for Y/N Call. A medium rare steak, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and also a brownie.” Paul’s voice came from the end of the aisle and I looked up quickly. A smile spread across my face as I saw the covered plate in his hand. “Well isn’t this nice.” I said with a small laugh as I leaned the broom against the shelf of granola bars. “I told you I’d bring you some food. What did you not believe me?” he asked looking ‘hurt’ and I shook my head as I walked towards him. “Of course I believed you, I’m just a little shocked is all.” I said as I reached him. “Shocked?” he asked as I took the plate from him. “Yep, shocked. You saved me a brownie, what was I supposed to say?” I said sending a wink his way. He let out a laugh as I walked towards the small extra office that was beside the storage closet. “I knew you loved Emily’s brownies, thought I’d be nice and stop the boys from eating them all.” he said as we both sat down at the small table that was in the room. “How thoughtful of you.” I teased as I uncovered the food. I took the fork and the steak knife he brought and began to cut the meat up. “Paul we need to talk.” I whispered as I continued to cut the knife up. “About?” he asked and I could sense his tension. “Why were you acting jealous and almost protective earlier?” I asked softly sitting the knife down and poking my fork through a chunk of the steak. I popped it in my mouth and looked him in the eye, he shrugged. “I always have.” he muttered and I frowned. “You have not, you used to dare me to do dangerous stuff.” I replied after I swallowed the steak. “Well that was before I imprinted on you.” he murmured so quietly I almost missed it. I chocked a little on the forkful of mac n cheese I put in my mouth. “Imprint? Huh, cool.” I said after recovering and he looked at me with furrowed brows. “You aren’t mad?” he asked and I shook my head. “How can I be mad at the boy who saved me a brownie?” I asked with a smiled and he rolled his eyes playfully. “Embry said you’d be mad.” he said simply and I groaned. “You can’t believe everything he says Paul. It’s usually a trap.” I told him and he laughed. “It usually is I suppose.” he said with a shrug. “How long Paul?” I asked before placing another piece of steak in my mouth. “Around five months.” he admitted leaving my eyes. “Five months?! And I’m finding out now?!” I exclaimed and he nodded. “I was nervous.” he whispered and I sighed shaking my head. “You don’t have to be nervous about telling me anything, especially that I’m your imprint.” I mumbled reaching out with my left hand to grab his. I rubbed my thumb across the back of his warm hand. “Am I forgiven?” he asked and I nodded. “Of course, of course. I’ll even let you have half of my brownie.” I said smiling silly at him and he laughed. “If the whole relationship is going to be like this then it’s going to be good.” he said and I looked at him confused. “Meaning?” I asked and he smiled softly at me. “You offered me half of your brownie, what was I supposed to say?” he asked and I shook my head.

“We’re here Dax! You ready to see grandpa Charlie?” I asked my son as I pulled into the driveway. He let out a giggle and I smiled. “I know, you can’t wait to see him.” I said with a chuckle as I turned the car off. I had Daxton 4 months ago, though dad didn’t exactly love the idea of me being a single mother he supported it. I climbed out of the car and closed the door with my foot, I stepped forward and opened the door on the side Daxton was on. “Hello there cutie.” I said pinching his cheek lightly making him giggle once more. I unbuckled him from the car seat and put my hand under his arms to lift him out. “There’s my favorite boy!” my dad shouted from the house door. I closed the car door as Daxton squealed looking at my dad. I walked to the front door where my dad was, he had a huge smile on my face and I chuckled, he loved Daxton more than himself I think. “Hey there buddy.” Charlie said taking his grandson from my arms. Charlie kissed Daxtons cheek before he comfortably held him. “Hey dad.” I greeted giving him a half hug. “Hey hun.” he whispered kissing my head. I opened the door of the house and held it so he could walk in, I walked in after him to see Bella eating some cereal. “There she is, the bride to be.” I said winking at my littler sister and she made a face. “It sounds weird when you put it that way.” she muttered and I laughed as I walked over to her. I bent down a little and hugged her, she gladly hugged back. We hadn’t seen each other in around a year and it was hard, unlike most sisters Bella and I were close. “Damn, you look so good. I can’t believe you had a baby 4 months ago.” she said as I pulled back from the hug. “Oh c’mon now, you make it sound like I look like a model.” I said rolling my eyes playfully. “You kind of do. Speaking of that little monster give him here!” she said happily opening her arms for our dad to hand him to her. He did, a little reluctantly too. “Hey there little man.” Bella said kissing her nephews head. Daxton took his hand and tangled them in her hair and she chuckled. “He looks completely different from the picture of you and him at the hospital.” she said shaking her head and I nodded. “Yeah I know, he’s grown so much. So, what’s the plan?” I asked as I sat down in the other chair. “Well Alice should be here-,” she started but was cut of by a knock on the door. “Now I guess.” she said and I laughed a little. Charlie walked over to the door and opened it a little. “Hey Alice.” Charlie said and a short girl pushed passed him. “Hey there Charlie. Hey Be-,” she started as she turned to look at us. Her eyes went wide when she saw the baby and she gasped. “Oh my look at the little chunk!” she exclaimed as she quickly walked over to Bella. “Oh can I hold him?” the girl, Alice, asked looking at me. “Of course Dax is a ladies man.” I said and she laughed. “I’m sure he his, look how handsome he is.” she said as she took Daxton from Bella. “Well there goes Aunt Bellas time with him.” she mumbled and I shook my head with a smile. “I’m sorry, I didn’t introduce myself. I’m Alice Cullen, you must be Y/N.” she said and I nodded. “That’s me.” I said with a nod. “Well it’s great to finally meet you. And you to little one,” she said pecking Daxton on the cheek. “I’ve heard so much about you.” she finished and I looked at Bella. “All good I hope.” I whispered causing her and Bella to laugh. “Oh of course. We can talk more while we get Bella ready but we gotta go.” she said and I nodded getting up from my seat. “Can you watch Dax, dad? All of his stuff is in my car.” I said looking at Charlie who nodded. “Of course. You all go ahead.” he said taking Daxton from Alice. Once he was out of her arms Alice grabbed Bella’s hand and ran out to her car. “Call if you need anything.” I said and he nodded.

I watched as Alice and Rosalie worked on my sister, she looked absolutely beautiful to say the least. I hopped off the bathroom counter that I was sitting on and looked at the girls. “I’m gonna go get a snack, you need anything Bells?” I asked looking at my sister and she shook her head ‘no’. “Alright be back in a flash.” I said before turning around and walking out of the bathroom and to the stairs. I slowly went down the stairs careful not to miss one, believe it or not I was way more clumsier than Bella. I jumped off the last step and walk towards the kitchen humming to myself. When I walked in I saw Edward, a blonde boy, and a brunette boy. “Oh...hello. Hope I’m not interrupting anything.” I said quietly as my cheeks warmed up. “Oh no, you aren’t interrupting anything.” the blonde said, he had a deep southern accent that suited him. “Your Y/N, right?” Edward said and I nodded. “Yep, and your Edward the groom.” I said smiling and he nodded. “That’s me. Where’s Daxton?” he asked as I walked over to the fridge. “You know about Dax?” I asked as I opened it. “Yeah, Alice and I do. These two don’t though.” he said motioning to the boys. “Oh well Daxton is with Charlie. He’ll be here later if you’d like to meet him.” I said grabbing some apple slices from the fridge. “That sounds nice, Y/N these are my brothers Jasper,” he said motioning to the blonde who spoke earlier. “And Emmett.” he said motioning to the talk brunette. “Well hello, I’m Y/N Swan. Bella’s older sister.” I said with a little wave. “Well it’s nice to finally meet the famous Y/N.” the boy named Emmett said and I chuckled. “Famous, eh?” I responded as I took a bite out of an apple slice. “Yeah. Bella talks about you a lot, sometimes it gets annoying.” Jasper said and I laughed. “My friends in Nevada would agree with the fact it gets annoying. I always talk about Bella and Charlie, sometimes I throw Daxton into the mix.” I said with a shrug rating another apple slice. “So you live in Nevada?” Emmett asked and I nodded. “Yeah I’ve been there for a year, I’m thinking about moving after the hole wedding thing. I miss my family and I’m not doing so wel financially.” I mumbled looking away from them and to the stairs. “Does Bella know?” Edward asked and I shook my head quickly. “No, and she doesn’t need to know either Cullen.” I whispered urgently as I grabbed one last apple slice. “Yes ma’am.” he responded as I placed the apples back in the fridge. “Y/N! Come here!” Alice’s voice came from a few stories up. “That’s my cue. Later boys.” I muttered before walking to the steps.

Everyone was greeting the newly weds so I broke off to go find my father who had Daxton. I found him standing in the back with my son, Charlie had dressed him in a little tuxedo that matched his and I smiled. “Hey dad, you look great.” I said quietly as I got to him. “Thanks kiddo, you look nice too.” he said handing Daxton to me. “Thanks dad. I’m going to go see Bella, I can’t believe she’s married.” I said shaking my head as Daxton nuzzled his head into my neck. “I know, it’s crazy. I’ll see her after you, go have your sister time.” he said and I nodded. I turned around and started walking to Bella and Edward as Dax yawned a little. “I know buddy, I’ll put you down for a nap in a little while.” I whispered rubbing his back. I got behind a group of people who were talking to my sister and waited for them to talk a little. I continued to rub his back and after a minute the group of people moved on so I stepped forward. “Gosh...you look so beautiful.” I whispered looking my sister over. “Oh stop it.” she said with a chuckle and I sighed. “I’m happy for you, truly happy. Daxton is too, right Dax?” I asked and he raised his head up and met Bella eyes. “Awe Daxton don’t you look so handsome.” Bella gushed reaching out to hold his little hand. “So this is your son? Daxton?” Edward asked and I nodded. “Yeah, this is him. He’s a little sleepy though.” I said looking at Edward and he nodded. “Well hello there Daxton, Uncle Edward will spend more time with you after he gets back from the honeymoon.” he said waving at my baby. Bella and I locked eyes when Edward said ‘uncle’ and smiled, it sounded nice. “Well I’ll let everyone else get there fix of the newly weds. Congratulations you two.” I whispered. I hugged Bella quickly and kissed her cheek and then hugged Edward. “Treat her right Cullen.” I whispered into his ear and he nodded with a chuckle. I walked over to an empty table and sat down, I leaned back in the chair and cradled Daxton in my arms. As his eyes started to flutter shut I felt a body appear next to mine. “Whose the little one?” Emmetts voice came from beside me and I giggled. “This is my son, Daxton.” I whispered and he nodded. “So this is Daxton. Hey little man.” Emmett said softly as he reached over and placed his finger in Daxtons hand. The little hand wrapped around Emmetts finger and I smiled. “Looks like your stuck now.” I said looking up at Emmett and he shrugged. “I could be in a worse situation.” he said and I laughed quietly. “Beautiful wedding wasn’t it?” I asked rubbing Daxtons arm. “Yes, Alice can throw a damn good wedding. I’d suggest you let him sleep for a few minutes, they’ll start dancing and playing loud music in a moment.” he said and I nodded. “He’ll slee good tonight then.” I said and Emmett nodded. “So while we’re sitting here, tell me a little about yourself and Daxton.” Emmett said and I nodded. “Well I had Dax four months ago, it’ll be five months next week. Anyway his father left us after I gave birth so it’s been tricky, that’s what I meant by when I said I had financial issues earlier. I could care less though he’s my angle, I’d do anything for him.” I whispered looking down at the sleeping boy. “That’s sweet. If you move back to Forks I’d be happy to help you, all of the Cullens would.” he said and I smiled up at him. “That’s very sweet of you Emmett, really. I won’t stop you all from helping but I don’t want to be a burden.” I said and he shook his head, his honey eyes never leaving my e/c ones. “You wouldn’t be a burden.” he whispered and I shrugged. Esme walked over to Emmet and I then and smiled softly. “Hello dears. Y/N I can take Daxton in and lay him in the crib we have if you want. He looks exhausted.” she said softly and I looked at her smiling. “That would be great Mrs.Cullen, thank you so much. Also I had my dad bring an extra bottle, if he wakes up before you get him to the crib just warm it up and feed him.” I whispered carefully picking him up, his hand loosened on Emmetts finger and I smiled. Will do sweetie.” she said just as carefully grabbing him.

I watched as Bella danced with Emmett and smiled. I never imagined her getting married so young but it didn’t matter, she was happy and that’s all that mattered. “Hey.” Edward said walking up to my and I looked away from Bella to him. “Hello Edward.” I whispered and he held his hand out. I looked at his amd back up to him with furrowed brows. “What do you say Swan? Care to dance?” he asked and I sighed as I teased my eyebrows. “Oh what the hell, let’s dance Cullen.” I said placing my hand in his. He helped me up and led me to the dance floor. He placed his hands on my hips and I rested mine on his shoulders and we began to sway to the music. “We should talk.” he whispered and I furrowed my brows again. “About?” I questioned and he turned me around so I was looking at Bella and Emmett again. “You know how I feel about Bella, how she’s my mate. Us vampires have this urge to protect our mates, so I thought I’d let you know you are someone’s mate.” he whispered and I giggled. “You can’t be serious.” I said and he shrugged. “I am. Emmetts been lonely for a good 90 years, when he saw you earlier he felt what I felt for Bella the first time I saw her.” he whispered and I sighed. “I barley know him though.” I mumbled and Edward smiled. “You don’t have to rush into things Y/N, take them slow like any other relationship. He’s a nice guy really.” Edward said and I nodded. “Guess your right. I’m taking it slow though, Daxtons father gave me some um...trust issues you could say.” I whispered and he nodded. “That’s understandable. Emmett won’t rush you into anything.” he said and I nodded a little. We danced quietly for a few second and I smiled a little. “She looks amazing.” I mumbled and he nodded. “She really does. I promise I won’t hurt her Y/N, I wouldn’t dream of it.” he whispered and I nodded. “I know you wouldn’t. I’m just kind of nervous for her... it’s not anything against you it’s just-,” I started and he cut me off. “A sister feeling. Almost like a protective feeling. It’s okay I understand.” he whispered and I nodded. We were quite again until his head snapped towards the house and followed his eyes curiously. “Daxtons crying.” he whispered and I sighed. “Damn. Alright.” I said removing my hands from his neck and he removed his from my waist. “Thanks for dancing with me Y/N. I’m excited to be your brother-in-law, also you look great tonight.” he said and I felt some heat rush to my cheeks. “Of course, thank you for asking me to dance. I’m excited to Edward, you look nice yourself.” I said and he smiled. I turned around and walked quickly to the door that led you into the house. As soon as I opened the door and walked in I heard him crying and frowned. “Don’t worry sweetie, mommy’s coming!” I shouted as I closed the door. I kicked my heels off and ran to the kitchen quickly. I ran in there to see Emmett already warming the bottle up and I sighed in relief. “Emmett,” I started and he smiled at me. “I got the bottle, go comfort little man.” he said and I nodded. I ran to the stairs and up them as quick as I could, every second his crud growing louder. “Daxton, baby, I’m coming.” I yelled as I darted down the hall. I followed the crying down the hall and opened the door that held my son. I opened it and saw him laying in the crib crying and moving around. “Oh honey what’s wrong?” I cooed as I walked over to him quickly. I picked him up carefully from the crib and held him. He began to calm down but the water works didn’t stop. I walked over to the rocking chair in the corner and sat down in it. “Shhh it’s okay sweetie, mommy’s here.” I whispered rocking softly in the chair. I started humming a lullaby and stroking his hair. Emmett walked in and held the bottle up. “Oh my god Emmett, you’re a life saver.” I whispered as he crossed the room to the rocking chair. “I wouldn’t go that far.” he said with a chuckle as he handed me the warm milk. I placed the tip of the bottle into Daxtons mouth and continued to rock as he drank the milk. “Thank you.” I whispered to Emmett as he sat on the floor beside the rocking chair.

“I told you I’d be happy to help.” he said from the ground and I nodded. “I appreciate it, really. He usually never cries, I don’t know what upset him.” I whispered shaking my head and Emmett shrugged. “It’s hard to tell, the house creeks so maybe it startled him.” he suggested and I nodded. As Daxton continued drinking the milk his eyes grew heavy. “He looks a lot like you.” Emmett whispered and I laughed. “You should see his father, it would change your mind.” I mumbled and he shook his head. “I’ll pass, I’ll always think he looks like you.” he said and I looked down at him and smiled. “Edward told me about the hole ‘mate’ thing.” I mumbled looking away from him and to my son again. “Yeah about that, if you don’t want to-,” he started and I shook my head. “Don’t start Emmett. Of course I want to try things out, just slowly.” I whispered and he nodded. “I understand trust me. How about we go to diner one night this week?” he suggested and I smiled. “That sounds nice.” I whispered removing the bottle from Daxtons lips. “I promise I won’t rush anything. I also promise to be here for little man.” he said reaching out once again to hold Daxtons hand. “Do you want to hold him?” I asked looking down at him. He looked up at me and smiled. “Can I?” he asked and I nodded with a chuckle. “Of course, he doesn’t bite.” I mumbled as I stood up. I stepped aside and nodded towards the chair. He too the hint and moved to the chair. After he sat down I slowly placed Daxton into his arms and he broke into a huge smile. “Hi buddy.” he said in a quite voice as he looked down at Daxton. I watched as he carefully kissed my sons head. “You and I are going to raise so much hell.” Emmett whispered and I chuckled. Emmett looked up at me and we locked eyes, I could tell he was really happy. I could get used to this.

I wrapped Bella’s present up smiling to myself, I had gotten her this beautiful red dress that I thought would compliment her very nicely. “You think she’ll like it Jas?” I asked my mate who was looking out the window. “She’s like your best friend I’m sure she will love it.” he said , his accent weaker than most days. “Hey come here real quick.” I whispered and he turned around walking over to the bed where I was. “Yes love?” he asked and I looked into his eyes that were a little dark. “When’s the last time you hunted?” I asked forgetting what I was going to ask him. “Not to long ago.” he said and I saw something flash in his eyes. “Jasper.” I said a little sternly and he sighed looking away from me. “About 3 weeks, Ill be fine thought I swear. We can go hunting after the party, like a little date.” he said and I nodded. I got up from the bed and walked over to our walk in closet and looked over my dresses. ���Jasper which dress should I wear?” I asked and he walked over. “Well I’m going to wear my grey sweater with the light blue button up underneath, I’ll probably wear some black dress pants.” he said and I nodded reaching for my light blue dress and held it up. “What do we think?” I asked and he nodded. “It’ll be great, compliments your smile.” he said winking at me and I rolled my eyes laughing. “Go get all dolled up darling, I’ll go help Alice and Cole.” he said as we walked out of the closet. “Okay, tell Alice I’m going to steal her pearl earrings.” I said turning to face him. “Will do.” he said before pressing his cold lips to mine, I felt a since of belonging every time I was near him and I loved it.

“Hurry up will you!” Emmett shouted from downstairs. “Emmett if you complain one more time I swear I’ll rip you to shreds!” I hissed as I walked out of my room clasping my necklace. “Someone’s grumpy.” Emmett muttered as I quickly descended down the stairs. “And someone’s a pain in the ass.” I growled and Cole, Alice’s mate, laughed. “You too have such a strong brother sister relationship it’s scary.” he said and Alice nodded. “Yes, it’s very strong. Hey I expect my earrings back by tomorrow.” Alice said narrowing her eyes at me as I walked to be beside Jasper. “Yes your royalty.” I giggled winking at her. “Hurry, hurry get in place. I hear the truck.” Esme said excitedly, she wanted us all by the door to great Bella and Edward. The door opened after a second and Bella walked in, she had a gorgeous dress on. “Happy birthday!!” I exclaimed smiling brightly. She blushed slightly looking around us all. “Thank you Y/N. It’s nothing big.” she said and I rolled my eyes walking over to her. “Yeah, yeah.” I said opening my arms. She excepted the hug gladly, she was close with Alice and I which was nice. “Calm down, your too tense.” I whispered in her ear and she nodded a little. I released myself from the hug and rubbed her shoulder, I walked over to Edward while everyone else greeted Bella. “She’s nervous isn’t she?” I whispered and he nodded a little. “She thinks they don’t like her.” he mumbled and I frowned. “It’s Rose’s fault.” I grumbled and her head snapped towards me, I smiled at her and she rolled her eyes. “Yeah, I know. I’m greatful that you and Alice are so nice to her.” he whispered and I shrugged. “We don’t have a reason not to be. Let’s calm her down, have her open presents.” I suggested and he nodded.

I handed Bella my present happily. “If you don’t like, please don’t tell me.” I said with a nervous chuckle. She held the wrapped present and laughed. “Calm down, your too tense.” she repeated my words to me and I rolled my eyes playfully. She ripped the paper open and winced a little, then it hit. The smell. “Paper cut.” she mumbled holding her finger up. I felt Jasper move next to me, about to pounce. “Jasper!” I shouted gripping one of his arms, Emmett and Cole ran over to help me hold him. Edward jumped in front of Bella and practically threw her across the room as he took a defensive stance, he was ready to fight Jasper. Bella’s moans filled the room as she feel to the ground and cut herself on glass. The blood smell became so strong and Jasper began to fight against Emmetts, Coles, and my grip. “You three, take Jasper to the woods til the smell is to weak. Alice get my medicine kit upstairs please. Esme get water she may need it. Edward carry her to the couch.” Carlisle ordered and we all nodded. The boys dragged Jasper out back and far into the woods as I followed, Jasper was going to tear himself up about this.

The boys finally calmed Jasper down and he was now pacing in front of us. “Jasper...” Emmett whispered but Jasper shook his head. “Hey guys, head back to the house. I’ll talk to him.” I whispered looking at the boys. They looked at me like I was crazy, they probably didn’t think I could control Jasper if he freaked out again. “Trust me.” I spat and they nodded, they both ran towards the house and I sighed looking at my mate. “Love, come here.” I said sitting down on a rock and patting it. “No, you don’t want to sit to a monster.” he snapped and I sighed. “Jas, hun, you aren’t a monster. Anyone with your past experience would react the same way.” I whispered and he scoffed. “No one did! Everyone was so calm when she began to bleed, but what did I do?! I went crazy and tried to attack her!” he shouted and I shook my head. “If she knew your history she’d understand.” I mumbled and he stopped pacing and turned to me. “The thing is Y/N, she doesn’t know my past life. She’ll think I’m a monster and that I’m dangerous to be around.” he practically growled. “Jasper Hale I will not sit here and listen to you talk about yourself like you’re a piece of shit! You can’t help what you went through in your past okay?! You can’t change it?! But what you can do is go back in there and apologize, tell her you’re still learning! She’ll understand, hell I did when you lashed out on me for the first time! But I swear if you call yourself a monster one more time I’m going to explode.” I shouted at him and he froze looking at the ground. He was silent for a long time so I got up and quietly walked over to him. “Jasper Hale, do you really think I would’ve married a monster?” I asked as I slowly wrapped my arms around his middle. “I mean look where we are.” he grumbled wrapping his arms around me. I look up at him with narrowed eyes and he sighed. “No, you wouldn’t have.” he admitted. “I married you because I love you, also because I know deep down Jasper that you are getting better at controlling this stuff. Everyone slips up, that was your slip up. You don’t put yourself down after something like that you work hard to improve yourself.” I whispered looking into his eyes and rubbing his back. “Thank you darling. I appreciate that.” he whispered as he pulled my closer to his body. “Of course Jasper. How about we go hunt and then go talk to Bella.” I suggested and he nodded. “Sounds good. I love you Y/N, I don’t know how I got so lucky.” he whispered kissing my head and I laughed a little. “I could say the same thing Jasper, I love you too. Now let’s go take some of your rage out on grizzly bears!” I said excitedly and he laughed and nodded.

“No way, absolutely not.” Sam shook his head as Emily held up a tight latex dress. We decided that a shopping trip was needed so we invited our mates, worst decision ever. “Oh c’mon Sam. I think she’ll look hot in it.” I said examining the dress and Emily smirked. “I mean of course she’ll look hot in it it’s just I don’t need people gawking at my imprint.” he said shaking his head and I shrugged. “To bad, she was blessed with looks. It’s a yes from me.” I said starring at him, if he was a cartoon character steam would be coming out of his ears. “Two against one, ‘fraid you lost this one love.” she said looking up at her fiancé. “I hate you L/N.” Sam muttered and I laughed. “I think you should get one too.” Emily said looking from Sam to me and I stopped laughing. “You’re kidding right?” I said and she shook her head. “C’mon Y/N, get one. It’s on us, c’mon Sam.” Jacob said probably just ready to leave the small store. Emily and I laughed at our spouses and went to pay.

“Alright now to Victoria Secret.” Emily said grabbing my hand and dragging me to the store. “Do I even wanna know?” I mumbled and she laughed a little. “I just need some new bras, get your head out of the gutter nasty.” she said and I chuckled. We walked into the store and she began to look around while I went to smell the perfumes. I sprayed one on the back of my hand and sniffed it, I wrinkled my nose at the unpleasant sent. “Hey, Y/N come here real quick.” Emily called and I sat the perfume down walking back to her. I got to her and she was holding up two bras one black and one white, they were both lacey and I knew she had ideas in mind. “If I have to pick I’d say white, it’ll stand out beautifully against your skin.” I said and she nodded. “Alright good. Pick a set out, might as well.” she said and I shrugged walking around the table. I found a dark blue set and smiled a little, Jacobs favorite color was dark blue it would be a shame if I didn’t get it. “That ones pretty, I love the color.” a voice came from beside me and I turned to see a tall brunette boy beside me. “Oh erm yeah, it’s a pretty color.” I said picking up the set awkwardly. “I bet it would look really good on you.” he said moving closer to me and I backed up a little. “Yeah I bet my boyfriend would agree with you.” I snapped and he smirked. “Feisty one you are.” he mumbled more to himself than me. “C’mon babe, let me take you out and then after I can see how it looks on you.” he said and I scoffed before walking away to Emily. “Here.” I mumbled handing them to her and getting my wallet out. “Ooo Jacobs favorite color.” she said wiggling her eyebrows and I nodded handing her my card. “Pay for me will you?” I asked and she nodded. I walked out of the store quickly but I knew that stupid boy was following me. I was about to go and find Jacob when the boy grabbed my wrist. “Why the rush?” he asked still smirking and I tried to get my hand back. “I’m looking for my boyfriend.” I growled. “You don’t need him, you have me.” he said and I finally got my hand back. I took my hand and punched him square in the face. “Take the hint jackass! I’ve got a boyfriend and I don’t need you!” I yelled and I heard footsteps advancing towards me. “Babe hey what’s the problem?” Jacob asked getting closer to me. “Oh you must be the boyfriend. I’m sorry but she wants me now.” they said smugly and Jacob began to shake a little bit. “Would you shut up for gods sake!” I hissed and the boy went to grab my waist, he was stopped by Jacob punching him way harder than I did. The boy feel to the ground holding his face as Jacobs shaking increased. Sam appeared and grabbed Jacobs arms “We’ll meet you at your house.” he said and I nodded meeting Jacobs eyes that seemed incredibly dark. They softened a little when he looked at me but Sam still pulled him out of the crowded mall. I looked at the boy on the ground and frowned. “Bitch.” I spat before walking towards Victoria Secret. Emily was walking out when I reached and she smiled. “Got them, here’s your card.” she said and I grabbed it as tears built in my eyes. “What’s wrong?” she asked all motherly and I sighed. “I’ll explain in the car, we have to go.” I whispered and she nodded.

I pulled into my driveway and Emily shook her head. “Some men just disgust me.” she growled and I sighed. “Yeah same here.” I whispered. I grabbed my bags and she grabbed hers, I locked the car and walked up to the house. I opened the door slowly and walked in kicking off my shoes Emily doing the same. “We’re home.” I announced placing my bags on the floor. “Our back!” Sams voice came and Emily sighed. “You know he’s going to be a mess right?” she whispered and I nodded. “Send Sam in. We’ll leave and I’ll call you later.” she said and I turned to her giving her a hug. “Alright. I had fun today well besides everything towards the end.” I mumbled and she nodded. “Me too. Love you Y/N.” she said as I walked towards the back. “Love you Em.” I replied. I walked out the back door to see Jacob pacing and Same leaning against the tree. “Hey Emilys waitin gb for you her car.” I said as Same kicked off the tree. “Alright. See you later Y/N.” he said as he walked over and patted my shoulder. He walked inside and it didn’t take long for Emily’s car to start and pull out of the driveway. “Jacob...” I said softly and his head snapped toward me. “Let’s go inside, yeah?” I said and he nodded walking toward me. He stopped in front of me and I wrapped my arms around his middle he quickly reacted by wrapping his arms tightly around me. Jacob struggles with insicurities from his past with Bella and Edward so when something like this happens he breaks. A strangled son left his lips and I rubbed his back. “C’mon darling let’s go in.” I whispered pulling back and he nodded. We walked inside and he took his shoes off not wanting to track dirt in. “I’ll be in the bedroom.” he whispered before hurrying off. It broke my heart seeing him like this, he didn’t deserve it.

I walked in our shared room and he was was under the covers looking out the window. “Wanna talk?” I asked in a whisper and he shrugged. “Did you really consider giving him your number?” he asked as I walked over to my side of the bed. “Of course not Jake. I have all I need and that’s you.” I said climbing in beside him. “There’s no need to lie.” he mumbled as I threw the covers over me. “Come here Jake.” I whispered and he moved so he was laying on my chest. I ran my hand through his black hair knowing it calmed him down. “Jacob I’m your imprint right?” I asked and he nodded. “As an imprint I still have the power to say no but I didn’t. Tell me what I did when you first asked me out.” he chuckled a little. “You screamed out of excitement. Then you jumped on me and began to laugh, I thought you were drunk.” he said and I nodded. “You’re mine Jacob Black and I’m yours. -you moved away three years ago and you and your mom are finally moving back.

Mom and I sat in the car in front of our old house next to Charlie Swans. It had been 3 years since I’d been here, most of the memories had washed away but a good chunk of them stayed. The house had been rented out a few times while mom and I were gone but she never officially sold it, I like to think she knew we’d come back. I cleared my throat and she looked at me smiling. “Ready to get settled back in?” she asked and I nodded. “Yeah, I think so.” I whispered and she nodded. I stepped out of the car and took a deep breath smelling the rain, I smiled to myself I never noticed how much I missed this place. I grabbed a box and walked into the oh so familiar house and up to my old room that was still the light grey I picked out at 12. I chuckled a little at my younger self, I had pleaded with my mother to let me paint over the bright blue walls because a ‘mature’ almost teenager didn’t need blue walls. I went back out to the car and helped my mom carry in the rest of the boxes. We then proceeded to unpack our rooms while we waited for the truck carrying our furniture to arrive.

I heard a car door close and I looked excitedly out my window to see the police cruiser in the driveway next door. “Charlie’s home mom!” I shouted running out of my room and down the stairs as quick as I could. I threw the front door open and ran over to Charlie, he was always like a father figure to me. “Charlie!” I shouted as he unlocked his door and his head turned to me, a smile breaking out on his face. I got to him and wrapped my arms around his neck and he chuckled. “Hey kid. God you’ve grown.” he said and I laughed releasing myself from the hug. “Yeah I have, 3 years does go a long way.” I said and he nodded with a chuckle. “Dad whose here......” a voice came but drifted off as we met eyes. “B-bella?” I gasped and she smiled “Y/N.” she said. She threw herself on me and my eyes began to tear up, we had been the best of friends. When she visited Forks you wouldn’t see one of us without the other. “Oh my god.” I whispered and she hugged me tighter. “I’m so glad you’re here.” she whispered and I nodded “Me too. I heard you moved here, I missed you so much.” I mumbled and she laughed. “I think to make this reunion better we all should take a trip to La Push.” my mother said walking over to us. “Heidi....” Charlie mumbled and my mother smiled flashing her beautiful teeth. “Hello Charlie.” she said.

We pulled up to the Black house and Charlie turned around in his seat. “Ready?” he asked and I nodded excitedly. “Last one in there owes the rest a milkshake!” I shouted jumping out and running towards the door. “Hey not fair!” Bella shouted jumping out of the car. I got to the door and knocked hard. “It’s open!” Billy yelled so I opened it and sprinted in. “Ha! Beat you Swan!” I yelled looking behind me and she rolled her eyes. “Y/N?” Billy asked and I turned my attention to the small living room. “Hey Billy! Surprise!” I shouted walking over to him and hugging him. “You look great kid, how’ve you been?” he asked and I shrugged. “Decent, glad to be back.” I said looking around the familiar Black house. “Hey do I hear Y/N or am I going crazy?” a voice came from the hallway and I turned to see Jacob. A tall, handsome, strong Jacob, Ill be honest it kind of took me back. “Wow..” I whispered and he chuckled. “Hey Y/N.” he greeted and I waved. “What’s wrong?” he asked and I furrowed my brows. “You’re just so much taller. And stronger, how? It’s been three years.” I whispered as he walked closer. “Puberty.” he said and I shook my head. “Are you taking steroids Jake?” I asked looking up at him and he burst out laughing with Bella. “Now Y/N.” my mother scolded as she walked in. “What mom? Look at him!” I said pointing at my old best friend. “Just shut your yap and hug me already.” Jacob said and I sighed. I wrapped my arms around him and realized how hot he was but decided to to mention it. After a minutes I pulled back and Jacob smiled. “Wait til Embry and Quill see you.” he whispered and as if it were on cue the back door opened.

“I’m just saying you’re......wrong.” Embrys voice came but stopped when I met his eyes. His pupils grew large and he shook his head. “Hey Call, long time no see.” I said walking towards him and he nodded. “Um yeah it has been. You look good.” he said and I smiled. “Thanks Em, you don’t look half bad yourself. And look at you Quill, finally grew into those eyebrows.” I teased as he hugged me. “Yeah and I see you finally grew into your attitude.” he shot back and I rolled my eyes slapping him playfully. “I turned to Embry and hugged him gently seeing his tense figure, I wrapped my arms around his middle and he wrapped his around my back. I let go after a second and turned to face everyone motioning Jake over. He stood by Quill and I look at the three boys. “Look a little different don’t we?” Jake asked and my mom nodded. “Yes....you all look nothing like the 10 year olds that couldn’t get enough of each other.” she said and I chuckled. I felt a movement beside me and saw Embrg shaking a little. “You okay Em?” I asked and he nodded. “Umm yeah. Listen I should be getting back home. It was nice to see you again Ms.L/N and you too Y/N.” he said before bolting out the back door. Quill and Jacob sent me an apologetic look before following him. We all hung out at Billy’s for awhile before mom said we’d better get back since she had work tomorrow.

“Mom did Embry seem off to you?” I asked as we walked into the house and she shrugged. “He was probably just nervous, you haven’t seen him in 3 years and you grew up. Maybe he thinks you’re cute.” she said and I shook my head smiling, a little part of me has always loved him. “Don’t be ridiculous mom. Listen I’m going to his moms tomorrow since I haven’t seen her in awhile, I also need to go get some groceries. I’ll have dinner ready by the time you get off work.” I said and she nodded. “I appreciate it hun.” she said kissing my cheek. “Of course. Night mom I love you.” I said heading to the stairs. “Night sweetie, love you too.” she said. I walked into my room and sighed, the walls were to blank. I opened one of my boxes that held tons of pictures and smiled. There was one of Billy and Charlie with me at a Father Daughter dance, some of the boys and I at the beach, one of mom and I on Christmas, and the last one which was my favorite. It was of again the boys and I, it was the last summer I was here and we all decided that it would be a good idea to see who could bake the best cake. It all went to hell so that described the flour and cake batter all over the kitchen, but it also described the happy kids that truly loved each other. I hung all the pictures up wiping a few stray tears that escaped my eyes. After they were all up I layer down on my bed and quickly drifted to sleep.

I knocked on the Calls door with a little candle in my hand as a gift. Embrys mom, Tiffany, opened the door and gasped. “Y/N L/N, oh my look how beautiful you’ve gotten.” she said looking over my features with a smile on her face. “Awe thank you ma’am that’s sweet of you. Only difference really is my hairs longer.” I said with a small laugh and she chuckled opening the door wider. “Yes you could say that. Here come in come in.” she said. I walked into the house that smelled that cinnamon and leaves and took my shoes off. “Here, a little gift. It’s not much but I remember how much you liked candles.” I said handing it to her and she smiled. “Oh sweetie that wasn’t necessary. I do love a good candle though. Go ahead and make yourself at home, I’ll have tea out and ready in a minute.” she said and I nodded walking over to the couch and sitting down.

After a minute she came back into the living room with to mugs of tea smiling brightly, she handed me mine and sat down next to me. “So how are you? I feel like I haven’t seen you in forever.” she said and I chuckled. “I know it’s been awhile. I’ve been good though, Nevada was actually really nice and there were a lot of nice people there.” I said. “So did you have a boyfriend in Nevada?” she asked and I chocked on my tea. I coughed a little while shaking my head, I recovered from the accident and answered. “You know how I am Ms.Call I don’t date. Granted a lot of boys did ask me out.” I said and she frowned. “Wel no wonder, your beautiful. Why’d you turn them down?” she asked and I blushed slightly. “I knew none of them were the ones, it didn’t feel right.” I said and she nodded sipping her tea. “So how’ve you been?” I asked and she shrugged. “It’s been okay. The store has been very busy so I’ve been doing double shifts, but I guess it’s good because I do get more money. Embrys been good though, he helps a lot when he can.” she said and I nodded. “He’s always been like that. I missed you guys so much you have no idea, I wanted to come visit but I had school and a job.” I said and she smiled at me. “Education comes first sweetie. I’m just glad your back, the boys weren’t the same while you were gone and everyone could see it.” she said and I chuckled as the door opened. Embry walked in and I turned to look at him. “Oh hey Y/N.” he said closing the door and I waved. “Sorry to interrupt. I’ll just grab something to eat and leave you all be.” he said walking to the kitchen. “Oh no it’s okay. I have to get going anyway, I have to get groceries before moms shift ends. It was great seeing you Ms.Call really, I’ll call later.” I said getting up and she nodded. “Hey Embry can you go with Y/N to the store, we need some milk and eggs.” she called and Embry walked out of the kitchen. He seemed tense but nodded, he couldn’t say no to his mom he never could. “Of course mom. I’ll be in the car.” Embry said heading out the door. I said my final goodbye to Tiffany giving her a quick hug before walking out to my car.

I started the car and pulled out of the driveway slowly before starting up the road. Embry was silent which was strange, so I decided to break the silence. “How was your day Embry?” I asked and he shrugged “It was alright nothing exciting.” he said and I nodded. I glanced over and saw him looking out the window will flexing his fingers. “Ok spill it. What’s up with you? You acted like you didn’t want to be around me yesterday and now your all quite.” I said and he sighed looking down at his hands. “I can’t directly tell you.” he whispered and I scoffed. “Why not? Is it me? Did I do something wrong?” I asked and he looked up at me frowning. “No of course not. Okay so you remember the stories Jacobs dad used to tell us?” he asked and I nodded. “The legends about the shapeshifters, the third wide, imprinting, and all that fun stuff right?” I asked taking a turn. “Yeah right. Well there true.” he said and my eyes widened and my head snapped in his direction. “W-what? S-so you’re a w-werewolf?” I gasped and he shrugged. “You could say that. Anyway you know about imprinting right?” he asked and I shrugged. “Sure, it’s like a soulmate isn’t it?” I asked regaining my voice and he nodded. “More or less. Well erm when I say you yesterday my heart literally skipped a beat, it felt like you were an angle just glowing.” he whispered and I smiled. “Awe.” I whispered and he nodded. “So I went to Sam and asked if that’s what he felt when he first saw Emily and he said basically.” he mumbled. “Embry Call are you saying Im your imprint?” I asked as I pulled into a parking space in front of the store. “Yeah I guess...but it’s okay if you don’t feel the same way.” he whispered and I chuckled. “Stop while your at it Embry. Of course I feel the same way, I’ve liked you since I was 11. Now c’mon I need groceries.”I said climbing out of the car. He got out too and came over so he was in front of me. “Y/N L/N will you be my girlfriend?” he asked and I smiled. “Of course you dork. Now c’mon I really want some mac n cheese.” I whined taking his hand and dragging him to the store.

surprise.

I drove up the driveway of the Cullen house bitting my nails. I was the only one of Tanyas coven to come and help the Cullens, who may I say I haven’t seen in around 36 years. I stopped the car and turned it off before grabbing my bag from the passenger seat and getting out. I slowly walked to the door still biting the nails on my left hand anxiously. I got to the door and lightly knocked, I could hear feet moving around and then the door swung open to reveal Carlisle. I dropped my hand from my mouth and smiled. “Hello Carlisle, it’s nice to see you again.” I said quietly. “Hello Y/N, same to you. Have a nice trip?” he asked and I nodded. “It was alright, after the fight I’ll have to find a new home though.” I whispered dropping my eyes. “What?” he asked and I shook my head. “Nothing. May I come in?” I asked in he nodded. “Of course.” he whispered. I walked into the house and looked around quickly, looking for my old friends. “Hey where is everyone?” I asked looking at Carlisle as he closed the door. “They all are in the clearing, Jasper is teaching us and the wolves about newborns. When you’re ready we will head over there, but they don’t know you’re here. Thought I’d surprise them.” he said with a smile and I nodded.

Carlisle and I walked into the clearing but no one looked, I’m guessing because they were only expecting Carlisle. After a second I spoke up “You think I’d earn at least a glance.” I said and all there heads snapped towards me. “Y/N!” Alice shouted running towards me. She crashed into me and practically squealed which made me laugh. “Oh my god! I missed you! Gosh you look even more beautiful!” she gushed and I blushed slightly. “Thank you Alice. I missed you too, and I’m digging the short hair.” I said and she smiled brightly. “If it isn’t Y/N L/N.” Jasper said walking slowly towards us along with the rest of his family. “Hey there Jasper Hale. Miss me?” I asked and he rolled his eyes as he hugged me. “Obviously darling.” he said kissing my cheek. I laughed and released myself from the hug, my eyes landing on a new boy. He was a tall ginger boy and I smiled. “He’s not half bad Alice.” I said looking away from him to her and she nodded. “I know! I got a good mate!” she said and I chuckled. “Names Y/N, I’m an old friend to the Cullens.” I said extending my hand and he did the same. “Lewis, I’ve heard a lot about you.” he said and I smiled. “Hey kid.” Emmett said ruffling my hair and I punched him as I laughed. “Hey Em.” I replied. I said my hellos to everyone else quickly so Jasper could go back to teaching them.

I had Emmett in a headlock and Edward, Jasper, and Alice were laughing there heads off. “36 years later and she can still put you in a headlock in under a minute.” Edward said shaking his head and Emmett threw me off onto my back behind him. I hit the ground with a grunt and he laughed “36 years later and she always ends up on her back, by one of the Cullens or should I say Hales.” he said winking at me and I kicked him hard in the back of the leg causing him to fall and for Edward and Alice to laugh harder. “Suck it Cullen.” I growled as I got up and he just laughed. I walked over to Rosalie and Esme frowning and they giggled. “He’s not wrong.” Rosalie whispered and I glared at her, she just looked away smiling. After a little bit Jasper was finished teaching us all and we headed back to the Cullen house. “Um I need to tell you all something.” I whispered as we all walked into the living room. “Is it that you’re going to fight with Emmett again, I could use that.” Alice said and I smiled and shook my head. “No it’s not that. So as you know I’m really the only one in Tanyas coven who came to fight.” I whispered as we sat down and they all nodded. “Yes we know and we appreciate it greatly.” Carlisle said and I felt a little calmer realizing I was next to Jasper.

“I was uh kicked out of the family you could say.” I mumbled looking down. “You were were what?!” Emmett exclaimed and I frowned. “I was.....I was kicked out.” I said higher this time and Jasper instinctively pulled me close to his chest. “But why?” Esme aske from my other side holding my hand. “Because I’m working with the wolves, they see it as a disgrace. So I have to find somewhere to stay. I thought you all should know.” I said as Jasper stroked my hair gently. “Well you can obviously stay here.” Rosalie said and I shook my head. “No, I don’t want to be a burden. I’ve been looking for apartments in Utah.” I replied and Jasper chuckled. “Since when have you been a fan of living on your own?” he asked and I shrugged. “I mean I don’t but I’m not staying with you all, and if I do I’m getting a job and paying rent.” I said and Carlisle shook his head. “Nonsense, we will go to Alaska get your stuff and you can stay with Jasper.” he said and I smiled. “Well I already brought all my stuff. Didn’t have much, never really had much.” I mumbled pointing to the little bag on the coffee table. “That’s all you have?” Alice asked sounding kind of hurt and I nodded. “As soon as this whole battle thing is over we’re going to Seattle to shop.” she said getting up with Lewis and heading to their room. “Well everyone go get some rest. You all deserve it.” Esme said letting go of my hand and getting up.

Jasper and I walked into his room and I sat on the bed as he grabbed a change of clothes. “Jasper I think we need to talk.” I mumbled and he nodded slipping his shirt off. “Axel left me.” I muttered and he started at me for a moment. “Why would he leave you?” he asked and I shrugged. “Found a human girl, should’ve seen her Jas she was gorgeous. It didn’t hurt when he left and I think it’s because I knew he wasn’t my mate.” I whispered as Jasper walked over to the bed and in front of me. “I doubt she looked better than you. Anyway who do you think your mate is?” He asked and I smiled. “Well Jas I believe it’s you.” I said and he broke out into a silly grin. “It’s about time you said that.” he said before he crashed his lips onto mine, I wrapped my arms around his neck as he pushed me back on the bed. After a second he leaned back and rested his forehead on mine “I love Y/N.” he whispered and I took my thumb and stroked his cheek. “I love you too Jasper.”

i had a dream last night that emmett proposed to me so it’s only appropriate.

I unlocked the door to my house with a struggle and pushed my way in, stupid door always gets jammed. I’ve been living on my own since 1945 when I got changed at the age of 21, fun right? I had lived in Forks for 20 ish years now, I befriended the Cullens, and have a steady job in Seattle. Anyway I closed the door with my foot and sat my purse down at the table along with my keys. I got off early today, I never ever get off at 4:30 but here we are. I locked my door in a swift movement and went upstairs to my room to rest because I sadly can’t sleep. I opened my door and jumped a little when I saw my mate, Emmett, sitting on my bed with a book. “Hey Em.” I said closing the door and he looked up smiling. “Hello love.” he said scotting over and patting the spot next to him.

I sat beside him and rested my head on his shoulder. “How was work?” he asked and I shrugged. “Met this sweet old man who needed help picking out a dress for his and his wife’s anniversary, gosh Emmett it was so adorable. The excitement on his face it just......I don’t know made me happy.” I said and he kissed my head. “Awe I’m glad.” he whispered and I nuzzled closer to him. “How was school?” I asked and he laughed a little. “Well Edwards met a girl, her names Bella, and he invited her to baseball tonight.” he said and I smiled. “He finally met someone, that’s brilliant. Is she nice?” I asked and he nodded. “Very nice actually, Rosalie and Cameron don’t like her all that much.” he muttered and I frowned. “Why not?” I asked raising my head from his shoulder looking him in the eyes, this was my extra power I could tell if someone was lying if I looked into their eyes. “Well umm I don’t know that’s a good question.” he said looking at me and something flashed in his eyes.

“Don’t lie to me babe.” I whispered and he sighed. “She’s human.” he mumbled and I broke into a smile. “As long as he’s happy I don’t think it matters. What time are we playing?” I asked standing up. “7, and you know where it is.” he said getting up and I nodded. He kissed me gently placing his hands on my hips and I smiled. “Go Emmett, I have to shower.” I whispered and he smirked. “Can I join?” he asked and I laughed. “Not this time lover boy. I’ll see you at 7.” I said and he walked to my window. He opened it and slid down the wall with grace and I shook my head going to the open window. “I have a door for a reason!” I shouted so he could hear and he rolled his eyes. “See you soon babe be ready to lose!” he relied before running away. I smiled at my boyfriend and shook my head again, Emmett and I had been dating for 13 years and I couldn’t be happier.

I walked into the clearing with the baseball uniform on and smiled. “Whose ready to lose?” I asked from the edge of the trees. “Y/N?!” Alice called with a big smile on her face as she ran to hug me. She crashed into me and I started to laugh. “Hey Alice, happy to see me?” I teased and she nodded “Extremely!” she said as she kissed my cheek and lead me to the rest of the family. “Look who came.” Carlisle said smiling wide as we approached them. “Hello Carlisle.” I said as he hugged me. “I didn’t think you’d be able to make it.” Esme said kissing my head and I smiled. “Well Sam said she’d cover my evening shift today to avoid going on a date so here we are.” I said as a hand landed on my shoulder. “When’s Edward going to get here, I’m anxious to hear Y/N.” Emmett said behind me and I rolled my eyes. “In 10 seconds.” Alice said. She was right, of course. Edward and this pale brunette girl arrived at the trees and Alice and I ran over to greet them. “Hello! I’m alice it’s a pleasure!” Alice said excitedly kissing Bella’s cheek. “Hey, I’m Y/N and like Alice said it’s a pleasure.” I said smiling. “Y/N you made it.” Edward said smiling and I frowned. “Gosh you all make it seem I’m never around.” I grumbled. “Are you?” Bella asked quietly and I nodded. “Yes I am, I just work a lot. I’m Emmetts mate you see.” I said and she nodded. “Let’s get this game started!” Cameron, Rosalies mate, exclaimed with excitement.

I was up to bat and I smiled at Alice. “Gonna go easy on me Alice?” I called and she smirked. “You know it.” she mumbled, something flashed in her eyes and I smiled. She threw a curve balm and I swung and hit it. It flew out towards Emmett and Edward and I began to run as fast as I could around the bases. I was rounding to third base when my mate collided with me and I fell to the ground. “You’re out.” he said looking down at me and I frowned. He gave me his hand and helped me up, I crossed my arms across my chest and looked towards Esme who giggled. I looked back to where Emmett was but he wasn’t there, he was on his knee. “Since everyone’s here...” he said and I gasped and he reached in his pocket. “Y/N L/N will you make me the happiest vampire in the world and marry me.” he said smiling up at me with an open ring box that held the most beautiful diamon ring, and I nodded. “Oh of course Emmett you big fool.” I said and he slid the ring on my ring finger. He stood up and I jumped on him hugging him as tight as I could without hurting him. “It’s about time.” Edward said walking towards us. “I can’t wait to get your dress!” Alice said excitedly.

“Now you all calm down and give them some space.” Esme said softly and they nodded and walked away. Emmett sat me down and I smiled. “If I were human I’d be crying out of happiness.” I whispered and he nodded. “I would too love. I would too.” he said and I kissed him softly which he returned. “I love you Emmett Cullen.” I said and he chuckled. “I love you too soon to be Mrs.Cullen.” he said and I giggled.

(part 2)

I unlocked the door to my apartment and Alice, Rosalie, and I walked in. It was a small little place with warm colors to brighten the mood, I’ve always loved it. “It’s small but very well decorated.” Rosalie said and I smiled. “Thank you, I don’t plan on taking everything I’ve already called a friend of mine to come pick the furniture up.” I said and they nodded. “I’m going to go look in the closet! See how good my sister-in-laws taste is!” she said winking at me before rushing off to the bedroom. “Is she always so energetic?” I asked Rosalie and she nodded. “Yes, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.” she said and I nodded. I heard a squeal from my bedroom and Alice darted out holding up a sweater from the early 50’s beaming. “Oh my god I love you! And I’m stealing this!” she said before running back to my room. “I think me and her will get along quite well.” I said. Then we all started packing, it didn’t take very long at all because I didn’t have a lot of stuff. I grabbed the small little fish tank that held Derek my beta fish and Rosalie raised an eyebrow. “What’re you doing?” she asked and I smiled at her. “Bringing Derek.” I said and she smiled. “How do you expect to get him on the plane?” she asked and I started my eyes at her and frowned. “Oh please let me bring him. He’s all I got.” I said in a weak voice and Alice looked at Rosalie. “Thank god for her looks or they’d say no.” she said and Rosalie nodded, I laughed at them and we left.

“He looked stunned! Like a stone statue, how’d you do it?!” Alice asked as we walked into the Cullen house. “I showed you in the apartment, I mean I didn’t expect it to work so well of course.” I said laughing and Rosalie shook her head. “Youre probably the only one who could ever convince someone to let you bring a fish on a plane.” she said and I nodded. “Welcome back girls! Is that a fish?” Esme asked looking at the tank in my hands and Alice, Rosalie, and I burst out laughing causing Esme to laugh too. After the laughter stoped I smiled at Esme. “So where can I put my stuff?” I asked and she nodded. “Emmett said you can share his room so just take your stuff up there, they all went hunting and Cameron said he’d be back today.” Esme said and I nodded. We entered Emmetts room and Alice started to put my clothes away while I put my toiletries away. “I think Emmett has a thing for you.” Alice said as she slide a dress of line onto a hanger. “Oh c’mon Alice I just met him like two days ago.” I said sitting my toothbrush by the sink. “I think Alice is right.” Rosalie said as she set a candle on the nightstand. I shook my head as I walked out of the bathroom. Alice had finished with my clothes and I smiled. “Thank you all for the help, I can get the rest.” I said and they nodded before leaving the room.

I hummed a tune to myself as I took all my books out of a box a sorted them by genre. I was working on the non-fiction pile when the door opened and Emmett walked in. “Hey, I see you’re making yourself at home.” he said and I chuckled. “You could say that. If you don’t like where things are placed feel free to move them I don’t mind.” I said from the floor and he walked over to the desk where Derek was. “How on earth did you get this little guy here?@ he asked and I chuckled sliding some books to the side. “You know how I darted my eyes at you in the clearing?” I asked and he nodded. “I done that and pleaded with them tik they said yes.” I said and he laughed. “Smart.” he said an I smiled. “Thanks.” I replied looking at him. “Do you by chance have a bookshelf?” I asked and he smiled. “Yes, I’ll go get it.” he said and he left. I couldn’t put my finger on it but something was different with Emmett.

-time skip to after the battle-

I dabbed at the new bite marks on my arm with water as I winced. “You should really go see Carlisle, he’ll give you something to help the pain.” Emmett said as he walked into the bathroom and I frowned. “I didn’t have Carlisle when I first got attacked and I survived, I love him like a father already but I got it.” I whispered and he nodded. “You did great today though.” he said testing his hand on the small of my back. “Thanks, you did better today then the first time in the clearing.” I said looking at him in the mirror and he chuckled shaking his head. I set the wet cloth I was using down and sighed. “Emmett what did you feel when you first met me?” I asked and he shrugged. “I thought you were stunning and that we’d get along greatly. Why?” he asked and I shrugged. “Because I feel like your my mate.” I mumbled and he smiled. “Do you?” he asked and I nodded. He turned me around in a swift movement and connected our lips. It was such a soft and gentle kiss that was was interrupted by our door slamming open. “My sister Emmett?! Are you kidding me?!” Jasper shouted in rage. Alice ran into the room and gave me an apologetic look and I sighed. “I can’t control it Jasper!” Emmett yelled back. “I swear to god Emmett, if you even think about hurting her I’ll rip you to pieces.” Jasper spat as Alice grabbed his forearm and I grabbed Emmetts. “Don’t worry I don’t plan on it.” Emmett said back and I met Jaspers dark eyes. “It’ll be okay.” I whispered and he narrowed his eyes before storming out.

“Alice?” I asked and she chuckled awkwardly. “I may or may not have seen a vision of you two getting married and told Jasper.” she said and I glared at her causing her to run out after her husband. “You’re playing a very dangerous game Cullen.” I said looking up at Emmett and he smirked. “Yeah but the prize is you Whitlock.” he said and I cringed and he laughed picking me up in a hug.

“Starting without me? I remembered you to have more patience.” I called as I walked out of the forest gaining his, the other vampires, and the wolves attentions. “I was only just starting.” Jasper mumbled and I nodded. “You’ve always been a trash liar.” I replied smirking. “They want to know who she is, and honestly I do too.” a tall boy with brown hair said staring at the wolves and then turning his gaze on me. “Wow Jas, thought you would at least have brought me up once.” I grumbled and he chuckled. “Everyone this is my sister, my actual sister.” he said gestsuring towards me and I waved. “Y/N Whitlock, it’s a pleasure to meet you all. Finally.” I added at the end looking at Jasper.

“Well it’s very nice to meet you Y/N, after this little lesson with the wolves and ourselves we can get to know each other better.” A blonde man who was very handsome said and I nodded. “We’ll take it away Jasper.” I said and he nodded.

“So first thing, newborns are extremely strong. The strength doesn’t go away for about a year, so don’t let them get their arms around you because they can and will crush you.” he said and I nodded. “Secondly, never go for the obvious attack believe or not they are way smarter than that.” I said looking at the wolves smiling. “Emmett if you will.” Jasper said looking towards a tall and very muscular man with curly brown hair who looked like he could crush my brother. “Let’s do this pretty boy.” he said smirking getting into a defensive stance. Jasper done the same and then they were running, chasing each other like crazy men. After a few minutes of the two blurs running around Jasper was behind the man named Emmett and had him in a choke hold. “See Emmett went for the obvious attack, rookie mistake leading Jasper to be able to snap his neck in seconds.” I said and Emmett frowned in my direction while Jasper smiled. I heard someone’s breath hitch and I turned to see a human girl by the boy who asked who I was. I smiled at her and realized how bad it sounded. “I’m sorry.” I whispered loud enough for the boy to hear so he could whisper it to her.

“Now Y/N it’s your turn with Emmett. And play nice.” Jasper said and I chuckled. “Yes sir, Major sir.” I replied and he shook his head. “I hate you.” he muttered. I walked up to face Emmett and smiled darting my lashes at him. “I’ll go easy.” he said and I nodded. “Thank you.” I said dreamily. Then we started, I began by running circles around him as fast as I could and on the 6th one I sprinted towards the woods. He was a little ways behind me so I took a sharp left and bolted up a tree. He didn’t see that so he stopped and looked around. He looked towards the right and I jumped down from the tree landing on his back and quickly wrapping my arms around his through. “Gotcha.” I whispered. “Now how about you walk out there and show everyone that the Whitlocks won.” I said and he huffed. “Fine.” he muttered and he began jogging to the clearing.

“Hello everyone.” I said smiling once we were back in the clearing. “Nice move sis, up the tree and jumping down. Hate to say it but it was smart.” Jasper said and I nodded. “Tends to happen.” I said jumping off Emmetts back and onto the ground. “I was going easy.” Emmett said walking back to his family and I chuckled. “Whatever you say Em.” I whispered. Jasper and I continued to talk to everyone about moves the young vampires would make for another hour. The sun started to come up so the wolves left and so did the human girl and the tall boy. “Can I get a hug now?” I asked turning to my brother and he nodded. I hugged him and closed my eyes for a second. “It’s been awhile.” he said and I nodded. “It really has been.” I replied. “Let’s go back to the Cullen house and you can meet everyone.” he said and I nodded again.

“Nice place, makes my apartment in London look like a dog house.” I said as we all walked into the huge house. “That’s was a compliment guys.” Jasper said and a lady with long brown hair smiled. “Well thank you dear.” she said and I nodded. “Go ahead and take a seat I want to hear all about you.” a small girl said happily and I laughed. “Okay sounds good.” I said walking over to the couch and sitting down, she sat beside me and Jasper beside her as the others sat wherever they pleased. “Well erm let’s see, I was 21 when I was changed, it happened on a warm summer night in downtown Huston. It had been around 5 years since Jasper ‘died’ and I was still mourning over it, it was hard coping with the fact my best friend was no longer with me. As any young adult would do I went to the local bar to numb the pain with liquor, it would always help.” I said with a low chuckle turning my attention to the windows. “After a few to many drinks and pale ginger walked up to me and god was he handsome, he asked me if I had a way to get home and I told him no. So he said he walked me home which I thought was super nice of him, so I paid for my drinks and we started the journey to my house. We were in the middle of a dark alley and he began to kiss me, and we’ll I was intoxicated so I kissed back. He moved down to my neck and then boom, he bit me.”

I looked towards Jasper who nodded for me to continue, he hadn’t heard this part before and I could tell he was upset. “I woke up in a pretty nice home, the pain was gone and I felt better than I ever had before. I stood up and looked around trying to pin point where I was, and that’s when Jasper entered the room. Before I could stop myself I jumped onto him and hugged him so hard that I easily could’ve killed him. He talked to me about what happened to him and to me, he also told me what he and Maria did for a living and told me I had to join because it was the only way. You all know Jaspers backstory, mines basically the same.” I said and Jasper sighed. “Except for the part where she got kidnapped by the Volturi because they wanted her on their team for her power. Also when she was attacked by 10 newborns at one time.” he said looking at me and the girl beside me gasped. “10!? At once?!” she exclaimed and I nodded. I lifted up my sleeves and moved my hair to reveal the bite marks that covered my arms and neck. “My god.” the beautiful blonde girl said and I chuckled. “On a happier note I’ll ask the question. What’s your power?” the lady with long brown hair asked and I smiled.

I looked out the window and stared up at the clouds for a few second and then it started to rain really hard. Thunder rumbled a few times and then I made it turn into a soft drizzle. “Sick.” Emmett said smirking and I nodded. “I didn’t catch your all’s names.” I said and the blonde man nodded. “I’m Carlisle.” he said and I smiled. “I’m Esme, his mate.” the brunette lady said. “Rosalie, my mates out hunting in Virginia, his name is Cameron.” the beautiful blonde said. “You already know me.” Emmett said with a wink and I rolled my eyes playfully. “I’m Alice! I’m Jaspers mate.” she said and I looked at Jasper and then to my hand that was linked with hers. “It’s safe to say you’ve got yourself a good one Jas.” I said and the girl beamed as Jasper nodded. “I’m Edward, and the girl that was in the clearing with me was Bella.” a voice said as the door closed. He walked in dripping wet and I laughed. “What?” he asked with furrowed brows and I shook my head. “Nothing.” I said and he shrugged walking to the stairs.

I stood up and pulled my shirt sleeves down and sighed. “Well I better get back to London.” I said and Esme frowned. “Do you have anyone there waiting for you?” she asked and I nodded. “Derek.” I said and Emmett raised a brow. “A mate?” he asked and I shook my head no. “A pet fish.” I said and they all chuckled. “Why don’t you stay Y/N, you’ve been all alone in London for 47 years. It might be a good idea to have some company.” Jasper said and I sighed. “Well I don’t want to be a burden.” I whispered and Carlisle shook his head. “That’s nonsense, we’d live to have you here.” he said and I smiled. “Well i’d you insist, I’ll have to go to London and get my things.” I said and Alice shot up. “I’ll come with.” she said excitedly and I nodded.

“You’re joking?!” Alice exclaimed as we walked to the cafeteria and I shook my head. “Nope not at all, 35 years ago today before I met Edward.” I whispered as she grabbed my hand. “Y/N why didn’t you tell me?” she whispered and I shrugged. “To embarrassed I guess. Listen only you and Carlisle know....so try not to think about it at lunch.” I mumbled and she nodded.

I sat down beside Edward and Alice sat down beside me. “How was French?” he asked looking down at me and I scoffed. “An absolute bore, I’ve been taking high school French classes for 28 years. I could teach the class at this point.” I grumbled and he laughed.

“I’d rather have you teach it than that old hag.” Emmett said as he and Rosalie sat in front of us. “I’d fail you for fun you know.” I whispered and he frowned. “I hate you.” he muttered and I smiled “You can’t get rid of me.” I said and he raised a brow. “Want to make a bet?” he asked and Edward shook his head. “Now children no fighting during meals, it’s disrespectful.” he said and we all broke out in laughter. “Yes mom.” Emmett said after a minute and I nodded “Our apologies.” I said smiling at Edward.

The last bell of the day rung and I quickly stuffed my books into my bag. “So eager to leave are you?” a voice said from beside me and I chuckled my “You’re not?” I asked looking up at Mike and he shrugged. “Fair.” he said before walking out of the classroom and I rolled my eyes as I followed him. I walked down the hall toward the front of the school but was stopped by a cool hand grabbing my wrist. “Hey!” I shouted in protest but looked up to meet Edwards eyes and sighed.

He pulled me into an empty class room and closed the door in a swift movement. “Well hello to you too Edward.” I said sitting on the teachers desk. “Want to tell me what today is?” he asked with his arms crossed a walking towards me. “October 27th.” I said simply and he scoffed. “Not what I meant Hale.” he spat and I straightened up. “Using the last name, must be serious.” I said and he nodded. “Listen love I honestly don’t know what you’re talking about.” I whispered and he huffed.

“Italy. 35 years ago in Italy you went on a killing spree.” he said and I froze. Alice. “I don’t want to talk about it.” I said getting up but he pushed me lightly back onto the desk. “To bad because I do.” he said and I looked away from his honey eyes out the window. “I wasn’t exactly a newborn.....I had been a vampire for around 13 years and it was hard, really hard Edward. My little sister was 25 at the time and had just had her first kid, a little girl, and named her Y/N because she was still mourning my ‘death’. I used to go and watch her at night sing my favorite song to the baby with tears falling down her face, she was my best friend and it ruined me seeing her like that.” I paused and closed my eyes, I could still see the imagie clearly.

“It only got worse, my fiancée I had before I was turned got killed by my brother because he thought he killed me. Seeing someone you love, or loved I should say, get murdered by another person you love isn’t something pretty. Things just kept on getting worse and worse and worse and I couldn’t take it. Knowing I would never be able to die and Id have to watch everyone suffer drove me to Italy. I had heard of the Vultri from an older vampire I had met, I remembered her saying ‘Dont do anything stupid or they’ll kill you’ so I did something incredibly dumb.” I paused again and he frowned seeing how much pain this brought me, “Sweetie you don’t have to-,” he started but I shook my head.

“You see I was like you all, didn’t hunt humans because I couldn’t bring myself to do it, not even as a vampire. I figured that if I went on a killing spree I’d have a good chance of getting killed, at that point it was my only goal. So I flew to Italy and started. 23 people, god, I ruined 23 people’s lives.” I said shaking from head to toe. I took a deep breathe and continued. “The Voultri were going to get me but they had to much in their hands with the newborns so they let me go, but only under parole. I was so incredibly mad, I just wanted to die it shouldn’t have been that hard. But it turned out good, my niece is beautiful and healthy, my sister has stopped her mourning, and my brother after he got out of jail started his own company. Most importantly I met you all.” I whispered and he pulled me close. 

“I’m so sorry I shouldn’t have made you tell me. Please forgive me darling please.” he whispered and I sighed. “I forgive you, we all have secrets and I guess it was just my turn to tell mine.” I said and he nodded. “I’ll never bring it up again, really never.” he said leaning back and I chuckled and nodded. “How about we go to the meadow and I make it up to you.” he whispered and I smiled. “That’s sounds nice.”

(jacob x reader)

Jacob walked into our shared house looking awful. I gave a soft smile to him which he returned before stumbling to the couch where I was. “Hello my love.” I whispered as he sat down beside me. “Hello.” he murmured as he laid his head on my shoulder.

“Long night?” I asked as I started to play with his hair. “You have no idea....Sam has us all running double shifts.” he muttered and I sighed looking at his exhausted face.

“You know I could take shifts too, you aren’t the only werewolf in this house.” I whispered as he quickly sat up straight. “No.” he said sternly and I scoffed. “Why not?!” I asked and he shook his head standing up. “I’m not letting my imprint get killed by bloodsuckers. No way.” he spat. “You think I’m comfortable with my imprint running around with lose leeches running around?” I asked folding my arms as he stood up and began walking to our bedroom.

“Jacob!” I shouted walking after him. The door was locked and I cursed under my breath. “Open up!” I shouted banging my hand on the door. “I’m trying to sleep, keep it down if you will.” he spat and I huffed. “Fine! Bye!” I shouted before leaving the door. My hand were trembling with anger, we never get into fights but I want to help the pack, he’s being to stubborn.

I hoped into my car and started it pulling out of the driveway. I saw the curtains move as I drove away towards Sams and Emily’s house. My hands were gripped tight to the steering wheel and I was biting the inside of my cheek. I pulled into there driveway and turned the car off. I got out of the car, slammed the door, and proceed to run to there door.

I walked into the house to see Emily cooking and Sam laying on the couch. “Hey Y/N.” Sam greeted as I walked over to him. “You tell Jacob that it’s completely fine if I take shifts! I’m a werewolf too!” I exclaimed and he sat up shaking his head. “Y/N you know I can’t do that.” he whispered and I scoffed. “Why not Sam! Huh?! Why not!?” I shouted. My whole frame was trembling . He noticed and quickly got up wrapping his arms around me and running outside with me. He threw Emily a look as we passed her and she nodded.

Once we were outside I started to cry. I was so overwhelmed by the whole idea of Jacob being the only one risking his life in this relationship. “Calm down.Shhhh come here.” Sam whispered as he opened his arms. I crashed into him and cried harder. “Y/N you know that Jacob loves you and that’s the only reason he doesn’t want you fighting or patrolling. It’s safer that way.” he whispered in my ear and I shook my head. “I don’t care Sam! How am I supposed to live with myself if he doesn’t come home one day?!” I exclaimed in between sobs and he chuckled. “You forget how strong he is. Now let’s go back inside and get you some tea.” he whispered and I nodded.

I sat down at the table and Emily sat some tea down in front of me. “I’m really sorry.” I whispered as she rubbed my shoulder. “There is no reason to be sorry sweetie. None at all.” she whispered kissing my head and I nodded. “She’s right kid. It can be overwhelming, there’s no need to be sorry.” he whispered across from me and I nodded. As I took a sip of the tea with tears still silently flowing down my face I heard a knock on the door. I was zoned out so I didn’t notice when Sam and Emily left me alone to go outside with the person who knocked.

I was refocused when the door opened and Jacob walked in with a frown as I looked at him. “Hey.” I whispered setting my tea down. “Oh god...” he whispered running a hand through his hair looking away. “What?” I asked standing up and he sighed. “I didn’t mean to be so.....harsh I just don’t want you out there.” he mumbled walking over to me and I nodded. “Yeah.....I know, trust me.” I whispered and he nodded wrapping his arms around me. I looked up at him and he smiled sadly before kissing my lips softly. I laid my head on his chest and he laid soft kisses on my hair. “I’m really sorry.” he whispered tightening his arms around me. “Jacob, love it’s okay. I overreacted that’s all.” I whispered and he chuckled.

I thanked Sam and Emily for not throwing me out and Jacob and I got into my car. We sat there for a few minutes in silence before I broke it. “I won’t fight but I will patrol.” I whispered as I started the car. He opened his mouth to debate but I threw him a glare and he nodded in defeat.

“You’re way to stubborn you know.” he whispered as I pulled into the dirt driveway and I nodded. “I could say the same to you Jacob Black, and you can be moody as hell.” I replied climbing out of the car. “You love me though.” he said smirking and I shrugged “Kind of have too.” I said simply and he stepped in front of me.

“No, you truly love me.” he whispered sliding his hands around my waist. I let my arms wrap around his neck and I nodded. “I guess I do.” I whispered before kissing him softly.
