Ancient Astrology & The 2nd House
The 2nd house in astrology, also known as the House of Value, is associated with an individual's material possessions, financial resources, and personal values. This house represents how an individual earns, spends, and manages their money, as well as their attitudes towards wealth, security, and self-worth.
In ancient Babylonian astrology, the 2nd house was known as the "House of Possessions" and was associated with an individual's material wealth, movable assets, and the ability to accumulate resources. The ancient Babylonians believed that the planet ruling the sign on the cusp of the 2nd house would have a significant influence on an individual's financial prospects and material well-being.
In Hellenistic astrology, the 2nd house was known as the "Gate of Hades" and was associated with an individual's material resources, as well as their ability to sustain themselves and others. It was believed that the 2nd house represented the resources that an individual brought with them into this life, as well as the resources they would take with them into the afterlife.
In medieval astrology, the 2nd house was known as the "House of Substance" and was associated with an individual's movable possessions, such as money, jewelry, and livestock. It was believed that the 2nd house represented an individual's ability to acquire and maintain wealth, as well as their attitudes towards material possessions and financial security.
In modern Western astrology, the 2nd house is still associated with an individual's financial resources, material possessions, and personal values. It represents an individual's earning potential, spending habits, and attitudes towards money and material security. The 2nd house is also associated with an individual's self-worth and the value they place on themselves and their abilities.
The 2nd house is divided into three decans, each with its own unique symbolism and meaning. The first decan of the 2nd house (0-10 degrees) is associated with the Taurus archetype and represents an individual's ability to accumulate wealth and resources through hard work, perseverance, and practicality. This decan is associated with the tarot card The Hierophant, which symbolizes tradition, structure, and the acquisition of knowledge and skills.
The second decan of the 2nd house (10-20 degrees) is associated with the Virgo archetype and represents an individual's ability to manage their resources through careful planning, organization, and attention to detail. This decan is associated with the tarot card The Hermit, which symbolizes introspection, self-sufficiency, and the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom.
The third decan of the 2nd house (20-30 degrees) is associated with the Capricorn archetype and represents an individual's ability to achieve financial success and material security through ambition, discipline, and a strong work ethic. This decan is associated with the tarot card The Devil, which symbolizes materialism, temptation, and the need to overcome obstacles and limitations.
In addition to the decans, there are several other important aspects of the 2nd house to consider. The planet that rules the sign on the cusp of the 2nd house is known as the ruler of the 2nd house and is considered to have a significant influence on an individual's financial prospects and attitudes towards money and material possessions. For example, if Taurus is on the cusp of the 2nd house, Venus will be the ruler of the 2nd house, and the individual's financial attitudes and behaviors will be heavily influenced by Venusian qualities such as a love of luxury, a desire for stability and security, and an appreciation for beauty and aesthetics.
Any planets that are located in the 2nd house are also considered to have a strong influence on an individual's financial attitudes and behaviors. For example, if Jupiter is in the 2nd house, the individual may have a tendency towards excessive spending or a belief in the abundance of the universe. If Saturn is in the 2nd house, the individual may have a more cautious or frugal approach to money and may prioritize long-term financial security over short-term gains.
The aspects that planets in the 2nd house make to other planets in the chart can also provide important insights into an individual's financial attitudes and behaviors. For example, if Venus in the 2nd house makes a trine aspect to Jupiter in the 6th house, the individual may have a talent for combining their creative talents with practical skills to generate income and achieve financial success.
In Vedic astrology, the 2nd house is known as the "Dhana Bhava" or "House of Wealth" and is associated with an individual's financial resources, movable assets, and the ability to earn and accumulate wealth. The planet that rules the sign on the cusp of the 2nd house is known as the 2nd house lord and is considered to have a significant influence on an individual's financial prospects and attitudes towards money and material possessions.
In Chinese astrology, the 2nd house is associated with an individual's resources, talents, and abilities, as well as their capacity for generating wealth and achieving material success. The sign on the cusp of the 2nd house and any planets located within the house are believed to have a significant impact on an individual's financial prospects and attitudes towards money and material possessions.
In addition to the astrological associations, the 2nd house is also connected to several other areas of life, including an individual's values, self-esteem, and personal talents and abilities. The 2nd house represents the resources that an individual has at their disposal, both tangible and intangible, and how they choose to use those resources to create a sense of security, comfort, and fulfillment in their lives.
The 2nd house is also connected to an individual's early experiences with money and material possessions, as well as their family's attitudes towards wealth and financial security. These early experiences and influences can have a significant impact on an individual's own attitudes and behaviors around money and material possessions, and may be reflected in the placement of planets and signs in the 2nd house.
Overall, the 2nd house in astrology is a complex and multifaceted area of the chart that represents an individual's financial resources, material possessions, personal values, and attitudes towards wealth and security. By understanding the symbolism and meaning of the 2nd house, as well as its associated planets, signs, and aspects, astrologers can gain valuable insights into an individual's financial prospects, spending habits, and overall relationship with money and material possessions.

Ancient Astrology & The 1st House
The 1st house in astrology, also known as the Ascendant or Rising sign, is one of the most important houses in a natal chart. It represents an individual's self-identity, physical appearance, and the way they present themselves to the world. This house sets the stage for the entire chart and is considered the starting point of the astrological journey.
In ancient Babylonian astrology, the 1st house was known as the "House of Life" and was associated with the conceived's appearance at the moment of birth. The ancient Babylonians believed that the rising sign and any planets in the 1st house would have a significant influence on an individual's physical characteristics and personality traits.
In Hellenistic astrology, the 1st house was known as the "Horoskopos" or "Hour-marker," and it was believed to represent the beginning of life and the individual's journey through the world. The Ascendant was considered the most important point in the chart, as it set the tone for the rest of the chart and represented the native's outward identity and approach to life.
In medieval astrology, the 1st house was known as the "House of Self" and was associated with an individual's physical body, personality, and overall vitality. It was believed that the rising sign and any planets in the 1st house would have a significant impact on an individual's health, appearance, and general well-being.
In modern Western astrology, the 1st house is still considered one of the most important houses in the chart. It represents an individual's self-identity, physical appearance, and the way they present themselves to the world. The rising sign is often used as a key to understanding an individual's personality and approach to life.
The 1st house is divided into three decans, each with its own unique symbolism and meaning. The first decan of the 1st house (0-10 degrees) is associated with the Aries archetype and represents the individual's initial spark of life, their pioneering spirit, and their desire to assert themselves in the world. This decan is associated with the tarot card The Emperor, which symbolizes leadership, authority, and the ability to take charge of one's life.
The second decan of the 1st house (10-20 degrees) is associated with the Leo archetype and represents the individual's creative self-expression, their desire for recognition and validation, and their ability to shine in the world. This decan is associated with the tarot card Strength, which symbolizes courage, confidence, and the ability to overcome obstacles through inner strength and determination.
The third decan of the 1st house (20-30 degrees) is associated with the Sagittarius archetype and represents the individual's philosophical and spiritual beliefs, their desire for freedom and adventure, and their ability to expand their horizons. This decan is associated with the tarot card Temperance, which symbolizes balance, harmony, and the ability to find meaning and purpose in life.
In addition to the decans, there are several other important aspects of the 1st house to consider. The planet that rules the sign on the cusp of the 1st house is known as the chart ruler and is considered to have a significant influence on the individual's overall personality and approach to life. For example, if Aries is on the cusp of the 1st house, Mars will be the chart ruler, and the individual's personality will be heavily influenced by Martian qualities such as assertiveness, courage, and a desire for action.
Any planets that are located in the 1st house are also considered to have a strong influence on the individual's personality and approach to life. For example, if Mercury is in the 1st house, the individual may be highly communicative, intellectually curious, and adaptable. If Venus is in the 1st house, the individual may be charming, attractive, and socially graceful.
The aspects that planets in the 1st house make to other planets in the chart can also provide important insights into the individual's personality and approach to life. For example, if Mars in the 1st house makes a square aspect to Saturn in the 4th house, the individual may struggle with issues related to assertiveness, authority, and family dynamics.
In Vedic astrology, the 1st house is known as the "Lagna" or "Ascendant," and it is considered the most important house in the chart. The Lagna represents the individual's physical body, personality, and overall vitality, and it sets the tone for the rest of the chart. The planet that rules the sign on the cusp of the Lagna is known as the Lagna Lord and is considered to have a significant influence on the individual's overall personality and approach to life.
In Chinese astrology, the 1st house is associated with the self, the ego, and the individual's overall vitality and life force. The sign on the cusp of the 1st house is considered to be the individual's "rising sign" and is believed to have a significant impact on their personality and approach to life.
In addition to the astrological associations, the 1st house is also connected to several physiological and anatomical correspondences. The 1st house is associated with the head, face, brain, and the sense of self. Any health issues related to these areas of the body may be connected to the 1st house and the planets and signs associated with it.
The 1st house is also connected to the individual's early childhood experiences and upbringing, as well as their relationship with their parents and family of origin. The experiences and influences that an individual has during their early years can have a significant impact on their sense of self and their approach to life, and this is often reflected in the 1st house and its associated planets and signs.
Overall, the 1st house in astrology is a complex and multifaceted area of the chart that represents the individual's self-identity, physical appearance, and overall approach to life. By understanding the symbolism and meaning of the 1st house, as well as its associated planets, signs, and aspects, astrologers can gain valuable insights into an individual's personality, strengths, challenges, and potential for growth and transformation.

Synastry Aspects
If I use pop culture music to express the relation between synastry aspects, these would be some examples... I chose some of my favorite and least favorites (painful vs pleasurable).
Mars Trine Mars: "Power" by Kanye West ft. Dwele - This aspect indicates a strong, dynamic, and energetic connection between partners.
Mars Conjunct Venus: "Hungry Eyes" by Eric Carmen - This aspect suggests a passionate, sexually charged, and intense attraction between partners.
Venus Conjunct Pluto: "Wicked Game" by Chris Isaak - This aspect points to a deeply transformative, obsessive, and all-consuming love connection.
Pluto in Opposition to Lilith: "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" by Eurythmics - This aspect highlights a complex, psychologically intense, and potentially manipulative dynamic between partners.
Venus Conjunct Venus: "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran - This aspect indicates a strong harmonious connection, shared values, and a deep appreciation for love and beauty between partners.
Pluto Conjunct Sun: "Love on the Brain" by Rihanna - This aspect suggests an intensely transformative, powerful, and even obsessive relationship that deeply impacts one's identity and sense of self.
Moon Sextile Moon: "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri - This aspect points to a strong emotional connection, understanding, and support between partners.
Mars Square Pluto: "Love the Way You Lie" by Eminem ft. Rihanna - This aspect indicates an intense, passionate, and potentially destructive or power-struggle-prone dynamic between partners.

From one Sagittarius to another, it is our birthright to think "big picture". This is a blessing, believe it or not; it makes us fearless, on all counts. We have the ability to trust that all will work out for us, naturally. But it occurred to me that being ruled by Jupiter, we can be blessed enough to forget about balance. So, in order to balance our birthright, we have an equal duty to spread our innate compassion, generosity, and optimism. This is the highest expression of Sagittarius. If you are not living in your divine truth, those Jupitarian blessings won't reach you. The reason some Sagittarius feel this birthright more, is because they express that as well as their duty of optimism, compassion, and generosity in abundance. Because of this, everyone wants to be around them, to help them out, and just simply enjoy their energy. Do you see the relation?
So, my point of expressing this thought or "Astrology notes" is to bring awareness to our highest manifestation. This thought came after a moment where I could have reacted or I could have stepped back and went within to rationalize the situation. Once this thought occurred to me, it was as if I dropped my shoulders and could relax. I was no longer upset, I just felt compassion and optimisn in the situation.

Astro Remediation: Skin Conditions
Ever wonder if you can identify which aspects and placements in your natal chart can indicate skin conditions? Well, in Vedic Astrology, I can do this for you as well as customize a remediation plan for your personal road to recovery.
This is based on Ancient Astrology and Auyrvedic Healing. I struggled with acne as well as back acne for most of my good years. Nothing ever worked but then I tried the Eastern Medicine approach and implemented my knowledge of Astrology to help create a regimine for myself. It's truly magical what Astrology can reveal to us and even remedy for us. Everything can be alchemized as long as you have the tools and knowledge in front of you.
So, message me if you're interested in a consult and Remediation plan, personalized for you!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In Vedic astrology, skin conditions can be assessed by analyzing various placements, signs, and aspects in a natal chart. The primary houses and planets to consider are the 1st house (self, physical body), 6th house (health, diseases), and the ascendant (physical appearance, constitution). The Moon, Mars, and Saturn are also important planets to consider when evaluating skin health.
Here are some possible aspects and placements that may indicate skin conditions, along with potential remediation measures:
Facial acne, cystic acne, back acne, and body acne:
Mars or Saturn in the 1st house or 6th house, especially in water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces)
Moon afflicted by Mars or Saturn, particularly in the 1st, 6th, or 8th house
Ascendant or 6th house lord afflicted by Mars or Saturn
Rahu or Ketu in the 1st or 6th house
Remediation:
Wear a red coral or bloodstone gemstone to pacify Mars
Chant the Gayatri mantra or the Maha Mrityunjaya mantra for spiritual healing
Practice stress-reducing techniques like meditation, yoga, or pranayama
Maintain a clean, healthy diet and avoid oily, spicy, or processed foods
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Psoriasis and other autoimmune skin disorders:
Moon afflicted by Saturn, Rahu, or Ketu, particularly in the 1st, 6th, or 8th house
Saturn in the 1st house or 6th house, especially in fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius)
6th house lord in the 8th house or 8th house lord in the 6th house
Weak or afflicted Sun in the chart
Remediation:
Wear a moonstone or pearl to strengthen the Moon
Chant the Mahamrityunjaya mantra or the Surya mantra for healing
Practice stress-reducing techniques and maintain a regular sleep schedule
Follow a sattvic diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains
Eczema and other inflammatory skin conditions:
Pitta (fire) dominant constitution, with a strong presence of Mars, Sun, or Ketu in the chart
Mars or Ketu in the 1st house or 6th house, especially in fire signs
Ascendant or 6th house lord afflicted by Mars or Ketu
Moon afflicted by Mars or Sun, particularly in the 1st, 6th, or 8th house
Remediation:
Wear a moonstone or pearl to balance the Moon and reduce Pitta
Chant the Shiva mantra or the Durga mantra for spiritual healing
Practice cooling pranayama techniques like Sheetali or Sheetkari
Follow a Pitta-pacifying diet, avoiding spicy, sour, and fermented foods
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fungal skin infections:
Kapha (water and earth) dominant constitution, with a strong presence of Moon, Venus, or Jupiter in the chart
Moon or Venus in the 1st house or 6th house, especially in water or earth signs
Ascendant or 6th house lord afflicted by Moon or Venus
Weak or afflicted Mars in the chart
Remediation:
Wear a red coral or bloodstone to strengthen Mars and reduce Kapha
Chant the Hanuman Chalisa or the Durga mantra for spiritual healing
Practice invigorating pranayama techniques like Bhastrika or Kapalbhati
Follow a Kapha-pacifying diet, avoiding cold, heavy, and oily foods
It's important to note that these are general guidelines. I will not be revealing every remediation or chart indication in this post as there are a lot more nuances that go into harsher conditions, such as ones developed due to issues such as auto immune diseases. Additionally, while astrological remedies can be helpful, it is always advisable to consult with a qualified healthcare professional for proper diagnosis and treatment of any skin condition.

“Individuality”
… For my sake
Might just be
The only honorable mention
Of divine devotion:
To separate myself
From the books on the shelf
Dusty repetitions
Cadenced juxtapositions.
I value this life
Thou incarnated to revive
My dharma & karma
To feel truly,
Alive.
In this journey of fate
Or presumably rhythmic
Extortion
I find solace in my divinity
To unite my holy trinity

Ancient Astrology & The 3rd House
The 3rd house in astrology is a fascinating and complex area of the birth chart, representing communication, learning, short trips, and immediate environment. This house is associated with Gemini and is ruled by Mercury, the planet of intellect and communication.
In ancient Babylonian astrology, the 3rd house was known as the "House of Brothers," and it was believed to govern siblings, neighbors, and short journeys. The ancient Babylonians also associated this house with messages, writing, and education.
In Hellenistic astrology, the 3rd house was known as the "Place of the Goddess," and it was associated with the goddess Hecate, who was believed to rule over crossroads, magic, and communication. The Hellenistic astrologers also believed that the 3rd house governed mental abilities, early education, and the native's ability to communicate effectively.
In medieval astrology, the 3rd house was known as the "House of Journeys," and it was believed to govern short trips, transportation, and communication. Medieval astrologers also associated this house with siblings, neighbors, and the native's immediate environment.
In modern Western astrology, the 3rd house is associated with communication, learning, and short trips. It governs the native's ability to express themselves, both verbally and in writing, as well as their ability to learn and process information. This house also represents the native's relationship with their siblings, neighbors, and immediate community.
The 3rd house is divided into three decans, each with its own unique symbolism and meaning. The first decan of the 3rd house (0-10 degrees) is associated with the Three of Swords tarot card, which represents heartbreak, sorrow, and emotional pain. In the context of the 3rd house, this decan may indicate difficulties in communication, misunderstandings, or challenges in learning.
The second decan of the 3rd house (10-20 degrees) is associated with the Four of Cups tarot card, which represents apathy, discontent, and a lack of motivation. In the context of the 3rd house, this decan may indicate a lack of interest in learning or communication, or a feeling of being stuck in one's immediate environment.
The third decan of the 3rd house (20-30 degrees) is associated with the Five of Wands tarot card, which represents competition, conflict, and a struggle for power. In the context of the 3rd house, this decan may indicate a competitive or combative approach to communication, or a desire to assert oneself in one's immediate environment.
In addition to the decans, there are several other important aspects of the 3rd house to consider. One of these is the planet that rules the sign on the cusp of the 3rd house. For example, if Gemini is on the cusp of the 3rd house, Mercury will be the ruling planet, and the native's communication style and learning abilities will be influenced by Mercury's placement and aspects in the chart.
Another important consideration is the placement of any planets within the 3rd house. Planets in the 3rd house can provide additional insight into the native's communication style, learning abilities, and relationships with siblings and neighbors. For example, if Mars is placed in the 3rd house, the native may have a more assertive or aggressive communication style, and may be more prone to arguments or conflicts with siblings or neighbors.
The aspects that planets in the 3rd house make to other planets in the chart can also provide important insights. For example, if Mercury in the 3rd house makes a harmonious aspect to Jupiter in the 9th house, the native may have a strong ability to learn and communicate about philosophical or spiritual topics.
In Vedic astrology, the 3rd house is known as the "Bhratru Bhava," which means "House of Siblings." In addition to governing communication and short trips, the 3rd house in Vedic astrology is also associated with courage, self-effort, and the ability to overcome obstacles. The placement of the moon in the 3rd house is considered particularly significant in Vedic astrology, as it can indicate a strong bond with siblings or a tendency to be emotionally expressive in communication.
In Chinese astrology, the 3rd house is associated with the Rabbit, which is known for its quick wit, adaptability, and ability to navigate social situations with ease. The Rabbit is also associated with the element of Wood, which represents growth, flexibility, and the ability to overcome challenges.
In addition to the astrological associations, the 3rd house is also connected to several mythological and archetypal themes. In Greek mythology, the god Hermes (known as Mercury in Roman mythology) was the messenger of the gods and the patron of communication, commerce, and travel. I've been searching through emptiness
oscillating on chaos
chasing the rain
to avoid this burden of pain
whats clear to me is
nothing's clear at all
my eyes wide shut
to endure this constant fall
from grace
I stumble with pride
I shake with malace
whats righteous to me
is what's wrong for you

Hermes was known for his quick wit, adaptability, and ability to navigate between the realms of the gods and mortals.
The 3rd house is also associated with the archetype of the Trickster, a figure who uses cleverness, humor, and deception to challenge the status quo and bring about change. The Trickster archetype is often associated with the planet Mercury and the sign of Gemini, both of which are connected to the 3rd house.
In terms of the physical body, the 3rd house is associated with the lungs, respiratory system, and nervous system. It is believed that any health issues related to these areas of the body may be connected to challenges or imbalances in the 3rd house.
Finally, the 3rd house is also connected to the concept of early childhood education and the development of language skills. The experiences and influences that a child has during their early years can have a significant impact on their ability to communicate and learn later in life, and the 3rd house can provide insight into these early experiences and their long-term effects.
In conclusion, the 3rd house in astrology is a complex and multifaceted area of the birth chart, representing communication, learning, short trips, and immediate environment. By understanding the symbolism and associations of this house, as well as its connection to mythology, archetypes, and the physical body, astrologers can gain valuable insight into an individual's communication style, learning abilities, and relationships with siblings and neighbors.
