Mystic Sisters-Ch.24 Web of lies and goodbyes

Haru’s pov

I slowly opened my eyes, trying to adjust to the light. I realized I was laying on the couch. There was no need for Riyoshi to knock me out like that. I was weak from the lack of drinking blood. Riyoshi wouldn't have been able to knock me out otherwise. He’s lucky I didn't feed on him. Looking over, the first thing I saw was Hikari sitting behind the coffee table reading. She hasn't changed a bit. Ever since she was a kid she was always to herself. “Hikari.” I groaned, trying to sit up

“Haru?” she turned around in shock. I smiled weakly at her and she jumped into my arms. “You're okay!” she squealed.

“Yes but if you keep squishing me I won’t be.” I felt her smirk as she hugged me tighter.

“Hikari..” I groaned and she laughed looking up at me happily.

“Where’s your sister? I need to talk to her, well both of you actually.”

“I'll go get her.” she smiled quickly leaving the room.

“What’s your problem?” I asked Akio, who was staring at me looking pissed off.

“You're my problem.” he said blankly.

“I don’t see how I don’t even know you.” I stated.

“You don’t remember me kicking your ass last time?” Akio asked with a smirk on his face.

“If I had digested more blood you wouldn’t have.”

“Well I'm a half breed and barely need it so why should you? You're a weak full breed, it's ok to admit.”

“Say that again to my face.” I snapped.

“I already did. I bet you knew about their past didn’t you. You knew and you said nothing! All this time you knew they were vampires and didn't do anything.” Akio snapped back.

Neither of us realized that Hikari and Yua had walked into the room along with Yua’s new bodyguard.

“I wasn’t allowed to say anything because I was under direct orders! I was protecting them from monsters like you. Does Hikari know you were stalking her for months?”

“Why are you so obsessed with her all of sudden. Shouldn’t you be worried about your girlfriend?”

Before Haru could shoot back Yua walked up to me and slapped me across the face and it stung a lot. “Do you know how much we struggled with this! People are fucking trying to kill us and you're concerned about direct orders!”

“Yua you know I didn’t lie to you on purpose.”

“Is this why you left me without a word? You broke my heart, left me and then came back as if nothing happened but where the hell did you even go? Back to my parents?”

“No, I went to meet your brother. I reported to him when needed and he told me to keep my distance from you guys for a while so I did and I had to leave. But when I wasn't there he watched over you”

“We have a brother?” Yua and Hikari said at the same time.

“Were you really not gonna tell us anything?” Hikari's soft voice came up.

“That's why I told you and your sister to come here so I could tell you everything in a more calm manner until this fucker here had to ruin it by sticking his fukin nose were it doesn’t belong.” I pointed at Akio rage in my eyes.

“If you would have said something sooner, a lot could have been prevented. I'm pretty sure it wasn’t your mission to date one of the girls.” Akio snapped back.

I started towards him but Riyoshi blocked me by stepping in front of him. “You don’t wanna do that, let's save you the embarrassment now alright.” He tapped my shoulders before walking back next to Yua and putting his arm over her shoulder.

“ Really dude?”

“Get over it. You may not like it but she’s mine now.”

I looked yua deep in the eyes “Yua my feelings for you are real. I know I lied and I’m sorry but I swear my reasons were justified.”

Yua looked at me as tears ran down her face. “You out of all people. I trusted you the most. Would your reason have been justified if we were killed? What if you were too late huh? What would you have done?”

“Yua-“

“No this isn’t love. You broke my heart twice because of your lies. I can't take a third.” She shook her head, tears still visibly falling down her face. Riyoshi turned her into his chest and held her for comfort. Something I wish I could do right now.

“I understand your decision even if I wish you would have chosen differently.” I looked Riyoshi in the eyes.

“I hate you.” The seriousness in Yua’s tone burned through my soul but I had no choice but to accept it as I wasn’t the best boyfriend to her nor the best protector.

“Ok well as much as I like to see my sister in despair, can we please be civil and just hear what Haru has to say so we can know what the hell we're dealing with?” Hikari chimed in, obviously annoyed by the bickering.

“Okay it’s true I knew you were vampires when we first met but that wasn’t exactly our first time meeting. Your memories were erased so you didn’t recognize me even when I introduced myself. I was only supposed to watch over you along with your brother-”

“Yeah but you had other plans and wanted to date around right?” Riyoshi interrupted. I side eyed him before moving on.

“Your parents knew someone or something was coming after you. They wanted to give you a chance to live. Maybe even have a normal life. I was supposed to be there for you when you fully transformed and bring you back home since you’d be strong but things didn’t end up that way…mostly because of some people.” I said glaring at Riyoshi.

“What happened the day we left and why did we leave?” Hikari asked and hugged Hisako closer. She seemed sad and confused.

“Well someone who worked alongside your family was suspected to be working with someone else on the outside. They were going to take you away and use you as ransom but we didn’t know why.”

*flashback*

“Hikari, don't be so worried.” Saki reassured her, ruffling her hair.

“How can I not? I won’t even know who you are.” She cried out. Saki smiled, kneeling down to be at eye level with Hikari.

“Yes I know. But we’ll be back together one day. Okay?” Hikari engulfed her sister in a tight hug.

“We know we're only doing this because someone in our own kingdom betrayed us. And this will be a chance for you and your sister to have a normal life” Queen Rei said to her daughter. Hikari nodded and grabbed her mother's hand. Saki fixed the girl's face coverings.

“Let’s go.” King Sammuel said approaching us.

We walked through the dark forest to avoid being seen by anyone. It was early in the morning and freezing cold. I saw Hikari grip Yua’s hand harder like something was wrong. I whispered her name but she was too focused on something. We were almost at the clearing which was the halfway point. Hikari stopped all of a sudden standing at the edge of the clearing.

“What’s wrong? Do you sense something?” Queen Rei asked.

She nodded with closed eyes. “There’s people up ahead. Vampires. Not good ones”

“They found us. I can sense about 12 of them but there’s probably more” The King said angrily.

“Saki you and Haru protect the girls and get to our meeting spot. Michi stay with us and fight.” We took off running as blood curdling screams came from behind us. I looked back and there were already bodies on the ground with blood oozing out of the bite marks while some were in pieces. The royal family would spare no when it came to their family. Running through the mud we finally got to the meeting spot with the others not too far behind.

“We have to hurry. There’s more coming.” Michi the older brother said out of breath.

“I promise we’ll all be together one day. We all have to get stronger to protect each other and our kingdom.” King Sammuel said

“I know. I’ll take care of Hikari. I promise.” Yua smiled with tears forming in her eyes. The girls quickly said goodbye.

“You’ll fall asleep. A family will adopt you but Michi and Haru won’t be too far. Okay?” The girls nodded and hugged their mom one last time.

“I love you girls.” Queen Rei cried while waving her hands in front of them, erasing their memory.

“Wait so that’s it? Haru that doesn't explain why the VHA is after us. Why couldn't our parents protect us if they're so strong?”

“Yua, you have to discuss this with your family. I'm sure Riyoshi can tell you all about the VHA”

“When? Hmm? The VHA is looking for us so we can exactly go back to them now can we!”

“I'll take Hisako back home and your brother and I will take you. All of you.” I said looking at Riyoshi. The air was tense and the room was silent. After a few minutes of silence Akio said something.

“The VHA has plans to take control of the vampire population. The organization was going to use you and your powers to do so.“ Akio spoke up.

“Why?” Hikari quickly asked, turning towards him.

“No one knows for sure but it was all a part of Amelia’s master plan. No one really knows what’s going on in her head. I can tell you one thing for sure. She made sure that the VHA sees your family and everyone under them as the enemy.

*Later that night*

Yua’s Pov

How many times did I have to be hurt? How many times did I have to be lied to? I sat alone with my back against the bedroom wall. I didn’t know how to feel about Haru. Everything I knew was a lie. He says he has feelings for me so why don't I feel as if our relationship was a lie.

“When will you forgive me?” He asked

“When you feel the way I feel. When you spent just as many nights crying over me the way I cried for you.”

“Yua you know I love you-”

“Bullshit. Haru just go. Haven’t you done enough?”

“Yua…” he reached for my hand and I pushed him away.

“You can’t fix us. Not this time. I just wanna go home. Back to my family. Maybe one day I can forgive you but not right now.”

“You’re not the only one hurting, you know? How do you think I feel seeing you with Riyoshi? How do you think I feel knowing that you already moved on?”

”I haven't moved on.”

“Yeah? That’s not what it looks like.” He huffed leaving the room and shutting the door behind him causing a loud bang. Maybe I was being unfair but I was tired. Tired of the lies. Tired of not understanding anything in my damn life.

The Alpha & His Little Witch: Eternity: Chapter 11

Previous chapter

David’s Pov

“Honey, can you please go and talk to Marcel about the treaty in my stead? My schedule’s too tight today.” Aaliyah asked

“Yea I was headed for a walk into town anyway.”

“Great, I'll see you at dinner. Love you.”

“Love you too beautiful.”

On my way to meet up with Marcel in the town square something felt familiar but I couldn't pinpoint it.

“Excuse me, do you know this town well?” I heard a woman ask. But that voice….. it couldn’t be. She’s not supposed to be here.

I walked towards the voice to see her back facing towards me. “Kimberly?” I say aloud. She turned around with a stunned look. “Still beautiful after all these years.”

“What are you doing in Moon valley?”

“I don’t see how that’s your business, but it’s nice to see you again David.” Kimberly smiled.

“I wish I could say the same if we weren’t under different circumstances.”

“Oh you mean when you cheated on your wife and I got pregnant? Or do you mean when she sent me and your first born daughter to serenity without a blink of an eye.”

“Look I know things got a little crazy but….. Wait, did you say daughter?” I asked , shocked.

“Yea her name is Piper, sweet girl.” Kimberly responded with a smile that quickly faded “ look I gotta go, I have somewhere to be.” then quickly walked away.

“What the hell was that?” I watched her for a few more seconds before I began walking towards the packhouse. Marcel was in front of the door talking to Jason.  

“Just the two people I needed to see.” 

“Wish I could say the same. Where's Aaliyah?”

“She had a more important meeting that required her attention today so you're stuck with me.”

“Tell Aaliyah we can hold this another day when she’s present.”

“Why when I'm right here?” I questioned

“Because I don’t like you nor do I respect you.” Marcel said matter of factly

I sighed “listen this is business and I don’t need to be your friend. My wife wanted this done today and I want to respect her wishes so let's get to business and save the bullshit for after.” 

Marcel smirked “You're bold as hell. And if you weren't Davina's dad you would have been dead already. I will respect Aaliyah’s wishes today I guess.” Marcel said as he walked inside towards his office.

I didn’t say anything back. I just followed him to his office before he changed his mind again. My daughters mate or not I’ve never met a more disrespectful creature.

Davina’s pov

I sat at home on my couch watching tv. When I felt that familiar energy again and it was in Moon valley. I came to the conclusion that the energy was coming from a witch or warlock. I was good at detection and tracking magical sources. I got up and put on my shoes immediately walking out of the house to find out who it was coming from.

I mindlinked marcel. “ I can feel that energy again somewhere in Moon Valley. I’m gonna look for it.”

“Be careful, I'm in a meeting. I'll check in with you in 20.” He replied before cutting the link.

Walking into the town square I tried to find the energy source. I knew it was here and I could feel it coming closer.

“Davina?” I heard a voice call. I looked to my right and I saw a girl walking towards me.

“Yes, do I know you?” That's when I felt the same source of energy I’ve been looking for.

“It’s me, Allison Fox, your old classmate slash bestie before you met Kat?” 

I froze. I thought I wouldn’t ever see this person again after she disappeared. “Ali? Oh my god where have you been all this time, it's been years.”

“In the flesh hahah, I have been getting stronger. I joined a new coven that fits my values.” Ali replied

“You're most definitely stronger because the energy you were giving off was concerning, but what brings you to Moon valley?”

“Oh nothing, just a little unfinished business I wanted to take care of.” ALi said with a smile.

“What kind of business? Visiting your mom after all these years? You know how hurt she was after you left?” 

“Oh please, my mother is the least of my concerns.” Ali replied, rolling her eyes before looking at me with a smile lightly tapping me on my shoulder. “Let's go for a walk, we have a lot to catch up on.” walking ahead of me I automatically felt my legs start to follow behind her.

“What the fuck is this I can’t speak nor can I control my body.” I kept trying to use my voice but nothing came out.

“Marcel!” I called out to him, completely freaking out, but he couldn’t hear me.”

“Cool spell huh, I thought you would like it. Ali smiled as she got in the car. ”C’mon hun let’s go, I don't have all day. My body betrayed me again as I got in the car and drove off.”

“You know Davina you really don't deserve everything that you have.” Ali said as the car car came to a sudden stop I noticed we were going into the woods. We walked for at least 10 minutes before we stopped next to this clearing. I looked into Ali’s eyes not knowing what was gonna happen next.

“Don’t worry girl, I'm not gonna kill you. I wanted to but that's the job of someone you’ll be meeting sooner than you think. But for now she just wants you to sleep and bleed out a little.” Ali stepped forward drawing a blade.

I tried to run but my legs wouldn't move. “Why is she doing this! Move dammit!” It was too late as I felt the blade go into my stomach twice. I fell to the ground and was dragged to a nearby bush as if she was hiding my body.

“It’s ok Davina, just close your eyes. You’ll wake up later if you're found but if not then you might be out of luck.” Alison said as ran her fingers through my hair before getting up and leaving me alone in the woods, possibly dying. I attempted to call out to her but my eyes got heavier the farther she got and before I knew it everything went dark.

Davina’s Pov

 I had talked to Marcel and he told me everything was fine but to stay home, Obviously I didn’t listen. 

“I can't just stay here and not do anything Kat!” I yelled frustratedly over the phone. 

“Vina calm down. Look, let's go together and help fight. We need to protect the coven.” I know she was right. It was my job to protect them. 

“Meet me at our spot.” I told her hanging up the phone and running out the door. 

Making my way towards my parents home something didn't feel right. I looked over at Katherine and she had a worried look on her face. We made eye contact for a split second before running faster towards the coven. 

“Oh my god.” Kat gasped at the scene in front of us. The once peaceful coven town square was now filled with dead bodies that were mostly werewolves. I looked up and saw Marcel toss a werewolf into a nearby building. It let out a loud whine as it landed into the building. I ran towards Marcel calling his name. 

“Vina wait!” Kat yelled after but I kept running to Marcel. Marcel whipped around fast enough to catch me in his arms.

“Hey I need you to go with Katherine.”   

“No I have to help. Where are my parents?!” I cry out trying to walk past Marcel but she stepped in front of me blocking my view.

“Let's find them and let Marcel finish.” Kat said from behind me. I turned to look at her but she was focused on Marcel with a distraught look on her face. I turned back to Marcel and he wore the same look. 

“What’s wrong? Why are you looking like that?” I questioned looking around. My eyes panned towards a body and I stepped back in shock

‘No.” I whispered with tears forming in my eyes. I ran towards the body and fell to my knees. 

“Annie no!” I scream reaching out to touch her cold body. Hot tears fell from my eyes “we have to get her to a hospital!” I cried out looking up at Marcel and Kat. 

“Baby she’s gone.” Marcel told me, wrapping his arms around me.

“No she’s not! She just needs a doctor!” I screamed in disbelief pushing Marcel off. I couldn’t believe it. Annie couldn’t be gone, she just couldn’t.

Kat kneeled next to me, eyes drenched in tears just as much as mine. “Vina she’s ....” Kat hiccuped. “She’s gone.”  

“Come on let's get you guys out of here.” Marcel said

“Nooo! I won’t leave her like this. I can’t.” I screamed holding onto Annie’s body. I no longer had control of my emotions. My tears poured out making it hard to see. Marcel picked me up and I clung to him crying.

“We can’t just leave her here. She won’t be at peace.” I cried.

“I’m already on that baby but I can’t let you stay here ok.” he said as he started walking. Kat followed us hesitantly as she was still focused on Annie. 

We ended up at my mother's office. I also saw Annie's mom who was completely hysterical. Why would they do this? Why would they attack us when we’ve done nothing. As Marcel put me down my dad cleared his throat.

“What are you doing here Marcel?” My father asked 

“I asked him to come dad.”  I said sitting down in the chair next to my moms desk. Feeling light headed from all my crying. Kat came and sat next to me.

“The real question is why the nightwalker pack would attack you?” Marcel asked hotly. 

“That’s none of your business.” My father said coldly. 

“That’s Enough David! He helped us a great deal today.” my said calmly. Before turning her attention to marcel. “This matter is personal Marcel i’m sorry.”

“It’s not personal anymore. The nightwalkers don’t attack just anybody especially in broad daylight.” Marcel stated flatly. 

I groaned in irritation before jumping as I felt something wasn’t right. I felt a huge surge of energy and it matched mine in a way, but it wasn’t mine. “Yo did you guys feel that?” I asked aloud. 

“Feel what?” Kat asked confused

“I just felt this huge surge of energy. I said looking around “ I’m guessing you guys didn’t feel it.” I said shaking my head “never mind.”

“You ok baby.” Marcel asked sounding concerned

“I’m fine.” I confidently lied. “We need to plan the ceremony for our fallen friends and get their stones ready.” I said, tearing up again as I thought of Annie.

“She will have a proper burial honey.” My mom assured me And I just nodded in return

“So are you gonna tell me why the nightwalkers attacked you or not.” Marcel asked impatiently.

“As you know there's a curse on the nightwalkers that forces them to stay in wolf form.” Aaliyah replied “Joseline my great grandmother and former leader of this coven was responsible for that.”

“I thought this coven didn’t allow dark magic?” Marcel asked, confused.

“She was forced to step down after she put the curse on them. Why it was so important I don’t know.” Aaliyah responded shrugging her shoulders. 

Marcel nodded understanding the situation. “I guess the real question is why are they barely attacking you now? “I’ll leave a couple of my warriors to keep an eye out. Alright?”

“Thank you, I appreciate it. Especially after our last encounter.” Aaliyah thanked him. 

“Yea don’t worry about it.” Marcel said before walking over to me. “Let’s get you back home.” His voice now soft.

“Ok” I nodded, taking hold of my hand, he pulled me up, guiding me outside he started to shift.

I looked at him confused, he mindlinked me. “Get on, I don’t have my car.” 

“Oh” I said aloud feeling a bit dumb before climbing on his back. He took off running towards home and I have to admit it was kind of fun but my mind kept circling back to that random surge of energy I knew Something wasn’t right.

Walking into the house I went straight to the couch, sat down and stared at the wall trying to process everything that happened in the past hour. 

“Did you see her?” I asked him quietly as he sat down next to me.

“Yeah I did, too many were coming at me and I couldn’t get to her.” His deep voice was now softened in order to comfort me.

I nodded in return. I threw my head back against the couch. I didn't know how to feel. Between fighting with Marcel, losing Annie and that weird energy surge it was too much to process. Everything came crashing down all at once, spinning out of control. Before I had time to fix one problem another one arose. I sat there lost in my thoughts with wet cheeks as the hot tears started to fall down. I heard Marcel call my name but I didn't have the energy to respond.  

“Come here.” he cooed pulling me into his lap. “I know there's a lot on your mind right now but we’ll get through this together.” I wrapped my arms tighter around Marcel and cried harder than before. 

A couple days later….

Today was the last day I can see Annie before she was put to rest along with the other fallen of that day. I sat in silence getting ready to mourn the loss of my friend once again. 

Looking into my mirror I couldn’t help but yawn. “I’m so tired. Couldn’t sleep.”

“Sure it wasn’t me.” Marcel asked with a smirk.

“I will slap you alpha or not!” Kat snapped giving Marcel a threatening look. 

Marcel flinched forward as I slapped him in the back of his head. “Not a good time for your shit ok.”

“You are lucky this is a funeral.” Marcel said, holding the back of his head walking away.

“Yea love you too.” I said with a smile before turning back to Kat. “Now you see what I deal with.” 

“Mhm” Kat nodded and went back to brushing her hair. 

“Nice not to fight with him for once.” I sighed in relief.

“We should finish up. We have to get there early to greet everyone.” I told Kat. 

Walking up to the venue Marcel stopped me. “Move” I asked, trying to go around him.

Blocking me again, Marcel spoke.“There’s a little problem.”

“Ok we can talk about it later. Today is about Annie.” I said pushing him to the side walking to Annie’s burial spot only to find it empty.

“That’s the problem. Her body’s missing.” 

“When did this happen? How did this happen!?” 

“She’s been gone for a couple hours according to the others.” Aaliyah said nodding towards Stephenie and Lisa.

“We need to find what happened!” I yelled. This can't be happening. Everything around me started to spiral. 

“Why is everyone just standing here? Go find her!” 

“She’s not in the area I've already done a sweep.”

I placed my hand on my forehead slightly stressed. I looked over to my parents.

“Well what are we gonna do now? We can't just stand here!” I yell, becoming more frustrated.  

“Calm down we-”

“No! Everyone keeps telling me to calm down but how can I when Annie is missing?” 

“I should’ve got here sooner, none of this would’ve happened.” I said ready to cry again. Why do things always happen to me?

“Baby this isn’t your fault. Someone is obviously fucking around.” Marcel said looking around us.

“You think so?” I asked.

“Yea especially since you felt that surge the other day.

“You think that’s linked to Annie’s body disappearing?”

“It very well could be.”

Unknown Pov

I stood over Annie’s dead body as I finished placing my candles. I kneeled closer to her. “You will be a perfect addition to my team.” Smirking as I moved a piece of hair from her face.

“It’s time.” I loudly spoke getting the attention of my team.

We formed a circle grabbing each other's hands. All of us focusing on Annie as we started to chant the dark magic flowing around us was incredible. Davina couldn’t know so much power if she tried. 

Annie opened her eyes then suddenly started to scream. “Calm down what the hell is wrong with you!” I yelled at her

“Davina?” Annie asked as she looked at me. 

“Obviously your vision is a little hazy. I’m not Davina.” I told her 

She looked at me more focused. “Your right my vision was hazy. Davina’s prettier.”

“I just brought your sorry ass back from the dead. Keep it up I'll kill you again myself.” I snapped

The Alpha & His Little Witch: Eternity: Chapter 9

I grabbed my bag and ran to the car waiting for me outside. Marcel always had one of his guys on call whenever I needed to go somewhere which I was grateful for. I made it to Katherine's house in about 20 minutes which was good because I was sick of just talking on the phone. I missed my best friend.

“Davina!!” Katherine screamed and ran to me like I was gonna disappear.

I smiled, giving her the biggest hug I could. “I missed you too Kat.” 

Katherine led me into her bedroom and we sat down and started to catch up.

“So how’s it going with the Alpha boyfriend.” Kat asked.

“To be real I'm going crazy.” I replied flatley as I laid down on Kat’s bed comfortably.

“What do you mean? Why?” Kat asked.

“We can’t stop arguing. I’m starting to wonder if I'm his lover or toy.” Feeling my eyes starting to water I sit up immediately.

Kat just looked at me shocked and slightly disappointed. “My parents aren’t making it easy for us either.” I sniffled

“Ok do you have him on Instagram?” Kat asked

“Yea why?” I replied wiping the few tears that dropped

“Because you're going to this party with me and the girls tonight.” she said smiling mischievously.

“No I'm not, I just told you we’ve been fighting a lot.”

“Ok and I don't care because guess what?”

I sighed in defeat “What Kat?”

“Because you’re single tonight fuck him!”  

I just laughed at her and I couldn’t help it. Kat always brought the party girl out of me and can’t lie because we have a lot of fun when we party.

“I’m staying away from the weed and alcohol this time.” I said getting up. 

“That’s fine more for me! Let's get dressed.” she said, hopping up going to her closet.

I actually started to get excited because I loved to dress up. I’m very confident in myself and my body just made my confidence shoot through the roof. Kat put on a black crop top, Black pants and a black leather jacket. I guess she was just feeling the color Black and I even did her make-up.

My outfit basically let people know that I was that bitch aha. I straightened my hair and you already know that the face was slayed.

The club was probably four blocks from Marcel’s house which made me nervous for some reason. Then I started to wonder when other witches started leaving the coven so freely or was I the only one not allowed to leave.I immediately forgot about that as I saw Annie,Stephenie and Lisa sitting at a booth in the club waiting for us.

“Davina You're finally coming out with us? About time.” Lisa said to me

“Yea thanks to Kat.” I laughed.

“Yea, yea but I wanna ask you bitches something?” Kat said seriously. When all our eyes were on her she smiled. “Are you bitches ready to get litt!” Kat screamed out running towards the dance floor.

The girls and I ran right after her laughing ready to have the time of our life. It was 11 pm  when my phone started buzzing. When I looked at my phone it was just Marcel ,so I ignored it and continued to dance the night away with my friends because it was our time and I didn’t need his negative energy right now anyways. We danced for what seemed like forever before returning to our table and ordering some drinks.

“My phone started to go off for the 6th time tonight. Knowing it was Marcel I ignored the call and started taking pictures.

“You're still not picking up?” Kat asked

“You said I’m single tonight so why should I.” I replied. 

Kat smiled “ I did say that huh?” Before shrugging her shoulders and knocking back a shot. I of course took a shot with her as we continued to turn up. I was posting on Snap and Insta having the time of my life. Kat was getting her flirt on which was completely unsurprising. 

I took another shot smiling at my phone taking all the pics I can but was interrupted when someone just snatched my phone out of my hand. I looked up and then sighed because it was none other than Marcel.

“So you don’t know how to answer your phone?” Marcel asked me

“Can I have my phone back please?” I asked. 

“Yea after I figure out why you haven’t been answering.” Marcel replied

“I haven’t answered because I don’t have to.” I said, snatching my phone out of his hand.

“Baby are we really doing this tonight?”

“I’m just having fun.” I replied. 

“It’s 2:45 Am.”

“Marcel, go away.” Kat told him “This is a stress free night thank you.” I looked at Kat telling her to be quiet.

Marcel looked Kat’s way slightly irritated. “Stress free? So I’m giving you stress?” He asked his attention coming back to me.

“I didn’t say it like that.” I mumbled looking away.

“Of course you didn’t.” He said sarcastically “I’ll wait for you in the car.” he said walking towards the entrance.

“You're not actually gonna follow that fool are you?” Annie chimed in.

I shrugged as I ran my hands through my hair. In the end I ended up saying goodbye to my girls and left the club. Marcel was literally waiting for me outside as his car was the first thing I saw.

Marcel rolled down the passenger window.“Took you long enough.” 

“Shut up” I said as I got in the car. He just laughed at me then started driving back to our house.

“So you're just not gonna speake?” He asked as we pulled into the driveway.

“I don’t know what to say to you.” I shrugged getting out of the car and walking into the house sitting on the couch

Marcel sat down next to me on the couch placing a hand on my thigh only for me to remove it immediately.

“Then what do you want me to do?”

“I want you to care.” I sighed, getting frustrated. “I feel as though our relationship isn’t genuine.”

“Our relationship or me?” He asked.

“Honestly both.” I sighed looking down as tears filled my eyes. “I’m always giving into you and don’t even get me started on my parents. I said looking back up at him.

“Marcel, we can't keep doing this. We keep fighting over the same stupid shit then you act like nothing happened. I don't know how much longer I can do this.”

“Oh so you wanna leave?  You know that will never work because you're my-”

“Mate! I know Marcel. That's all you ever say. That doesn’t give you the right to treat me the way you do!” I screamed at him as the tears continued to fall.

Marcel POV

I hated to see her cry and I hated it even more that she was crying because of me. I grabbed her pulling her closer to me but she pushed me away instantly.

“Don’t touch me!” She snapped 

I threw my head back in frustration. “Bab--”

“Why didn’t you ever mark me?”

“I wanted to, trust me on that, but I knew you weren’t ready.” 

“Maybe I would be if you fixed your shit.” She complained. 

“I'm just doing what's best for you.”

“No, you're doing what's best for you. That's all you care about!” She yelled getting up from the couch. I reached out to grab her hand but she slapped my hand away. She turned back to look at me with eyes full of anger and sadness. 

“I’m done, I can’t keep doing this.”

“Hold up now, let's just calm down.” She rolled her eyes at me but I continued. “Let's finish this later alright. Take some time to clear your head.”

“Fine” she said walking away and into the guest bedroom slamming the door.

The next morning I knocked on the guest room door with bacon and pancakes for Davina. She opened the door and gave me a blank stare.

“What?”

“Breakfast.” I said, handing her the plate of food. She took the food from me slamming the door in my face.

“Babe you said we would talk!” I yelled frustratedly.

“After I eat!” she yelled back but it came out muffled. Probably because she was stuffing her face. I Sighed walking back into the living room to sit on the couch. 

Five minutes later Davina finally opened the door, walked into the kitchen cleaning her plate. Walking over to me sitting down next to me she crossed her arms and leaned back.

“Ok go ahead” she said flatley while staring at me.

Raising an eyebrow at her I started to speak. “Look I know things have been really bad lately, but I love you and I’ll do anything to keep you by my side.”

“Actions speak louder than words, you know that?” she replied “you love me and we’ve been together a while and you still haven’t marked me. 

“Davina, I do love you. Marking you would officially make you my Luna and also an official leader of this pack. I didn’t wanna just throw it on you.”

She sighed but nodded her head in understanding. “Do you really love me?” She asked as she locked eyes with me.

“I really do.” moving a little closer to her. 

“I love you too so I guess I’ll accept your…. Was that an apology?” 

“Yes..” I quickly replied

She squinted her eyes at me before her attention was shifted to her phone as it started to ring. 

“Hold on, it's my mom.” She said looking the other way she answered. “Hello?”

Davina shifted as if she was now on full alert “What do you need me to do? 

I just sat there and watched her silently but I could have swore I heard a couple wolves on the other side of that call. As she hung up her face held an unusual expression.

“What happened?” I asked.

She looked at me. “My mom just said a pack of wolves are closing in. They can’t fight a pack of wolves. Marcel, you have to help.” she pleaded.

“Me?” I question knowing what she meant. “You're telling me a coven of trained witches can’t defend themselves from a pack of wolves?” I question.

“Marcel!” she screamed.

“Alright!” I said getting up but not before mindlinking Jason and my warriors were to meet me. Looking back at Davina, “Stay here I’ll handle this.” 

She nodded as I left the house towards the Eternal Rose Coven.

While running in wolf form towards the coven just by the scent I knew the attackers. “It’s the Nightwalker pack!” I yelled through the mindlink. 

“You can’t be serious.” Jason responded shocked.

“It’s them and I smell a lot of blood, let's hurry.

I sped up finally reaching the coven. Grabbing the first nightwalker I saw with my K-9’s instantly snapping its neck as another one tackled me from the side. Jason came tackling him off me in an instant. My warriors were here and the fight had officially begun. 

I ran towards the town square where Aaliyah was along with some other very skilled witches and warlocks who were handling the nightwalkers the best they could. I told Jason through mindlink to get everyone to safety. I looked back and he nodded. There were so many wolves attacking from every direction. The witches had created a barrier to keep the rest of the coven protected. A wolf jumped in front of me, locking eyes and growled.

 Lunging towards me growling like the mongrel he is. Growling back I lunged forward as well as we squared off. He put up a fight unlike the rest of them. For some reason I couldn't get him off. I finally was able to push him off long enough to see Annie being chased. I tried to run to help her but as I was about to reach her I was blocked by a few wolves as they planned to team up on me. Jason tackled them, giving me the opportunity to get to Annie. As I was closing in on her a wolf tackled me from the right knocking me to the ground. I watch Annie get pulled to the ground. She cried out in pain as the wolf sunk his teeth into her neck. She let out another cry before taking her last breath. 

“Fuuck!” I growled out as I smelled her blood and heard her heart stop beating. Annie was one of Davina's closest friends .She's not gonna take this well when I get back. The wolf looked at me snickering. He knew exactly what to do to get under my skin. I ran towards him swinging my claws, tearing him to shreds. 

There were so many  of them. I killed at least 30 on my own in the past 15 minutes. But we got the job done so now the real question I need to ask is why would they attack the witches like this? I need to find Aalliyah. Disposing of the last wolf I caught her scent. Davina was here. “Shit!” I cursed to myself. “I should have known She wouldn’t listen to me.” I said to myself preparing to have to console a very emotional woman.

Davina’s Pov

I wake up after what feels like forever and I'm in my bed which is just so damn comfy. I sat up and looked around suddenly remembering everything from the past couple days. From being chased by a wolf in the woods to shifting into one myself which to be truly honest scared the shit out of me. I was now a werewolf but I was also a witch and I didn’t know how to feel about it. I jumped looking up as I heard a knock on the door. It was Marcel  and some random guy behind him. I looked Marcel in the eyes and I took in his scent. “God, he smelt so damn good.” I thought before shaking my head, snapping myself out of my little trance and putting my head down.

“How are you feeling?” I heard marcel ask causing me to look back up at him

“My emotions are all over the place along with my senses.” I replied.

“That’s normal you’ll learn to control it soon enough.” he said sitting down on my bed.

I couldn’t help myself, something in me just wanted to touch him so I threw my arms around his neck in a tight hug burying my face into his neck taking in his scent. I felt Marcel wrap his arms around my waist.

“You can feel it now.” marcel said 

“Feel what.” I ask slightly pulling back.

“Our bond as mates.” he replied simply 

“Ahemmm.” I heard coming from my room door.

“Sorry Jay I forgot you were there.” apologized Marcel and I just smiled laying my head on his shoulder.

“Clearly.” Jay said sarcastically “Alright I'm gonna head out.” then went on his way. 

I lifted my head off of Marcel's shoulder as my sanity returned to me.

“No one can know that you're a hybrid.” he told me.

“Why?” I asked. 

“It’s just until you learn to control everything like shifting.” Tensing up immediately my mind drifted back to the pain I went through.

 “No, I don't wanna shift again, it hurts too much.”

“Once you get used to it you’ll be fine.” he tried to assure me but I wasn’t buying it.

“Did you find the one who did this to me?”  

He nodded his head 

“I’m hungry.” I say changing the subject. 

“What do you wanna eat?”

“Some ribs sound really good right now.”

“Well I guess that’s dinner.” He agreed. “Your parents are joining us.”

“Why?” I asked.

“They wanted to see you so they insisted on coming. But you can't tell them of your transformation yet.”

“My father is famous for his aura detection that’s unavoidable.” I replied.

“Well might as well face it now.” 

“I guess.” I shrugged knowing tonight all hell would break loose.

An hour later I’m looking in the mirror checking my hair and make up when the doorbell rang. “Time for the storm.” I said to myself. I walked up to the door as it rang for the second time unsure if I should open the door. 

“You good baby?” I heard Marcel walking up behind me.

“Yea i’m fine.” I replied, opening the door to face my parents. 

“Davina honey It's good to see you.” My mom hugged me. “You to marcel.” acknowledging his presence but her smile is no longer present.

 I looked at everyone until my eyes locked with my dad who had been staring at me like he had seen a ghost.  “Let's start dinner, yea?” I asked, trying to avoid his eyes.

Dinner was very quiet the first couple of minutes until my mom finally decided to speak up.

“Since no one is going to start I will.” Aaliyah started with a serious expression. “Marcel what are your plans when it comes to my daughter huh?” 

“Mom--” I tried to interrupt only to be stopped by my father.

“Quiet Davina!” my dad yelled, cutting me off causing me to jump.

“Instead of answering that how about you tell me what the fuck you did to my daughter.” My dad asked Marcel, his voice suddenly low.

“I told you he would notice, didn't I?” I said looking at Marcel. 

“What the hell is everyone talking about?!” Aaliyah snapped

“I’m a hybrid.” I said plainly. 

“A hybrid of what.” Aaliyah replied

“A werewolf.” My dad replied for me, his face completely unreadable.

“Yea” I said My voice lowered as I put my head down in shame.

My dad turned to Marcel with a glare that could kill if he wanted. “You allowed this to happen! You don’t deserve my daughter you fucking mutt!”

“Who the fuck are you calling a Mutt!” Marcel stood up, his face serious. “You obviously forgot who I am.” His tone was cold.

My dad rose to his feet as if challenging Marcel back. “I know who you are, I just don’t care.”

“Both of you stop!” I yelled out. 

“Davina, go pack your things you're coming home with us now.” My mom commanded getting up from her seat.

A deep growl erupted from Marcel. “She’s not going anywhere!” he snapped.

My dad was now in Marcel's face but before he could say anything Marcel punched him right in his jaw. “Who are you walking up on like that!” Marcel yelled out before my dad tackled him. It was an all out brawl between them, But my dad's magic won’t get him that far.

“Mom, help me stop them!” I cried out desperately.

“Never interrupt an alpha's fight honey, remember that.” My mother told me.

I heard a loud crack as I watched Marcel hit my dad in his ribcage. Not able to watch anymore I ran in between them pushing Marcel back. “Stop it! Are you trying to kill him!” I cried out.

“He challenged me and lost simple.” Marcel replied but what happened next he didn’t see coming as my hand connected with his face. 

“Now that wasn't nice baby.” He said with a small smirk on his face.

“Neither is fighting my dad! You hit him first I saw you!.” I snarled. 

“He had no business in my face to begin with.” Marcel replied in a cold tone.

My mom had heard enough. “I will no longer allow my daughter to be with a monster like you! My mother spat as she was focusing her magic to heal my father's ribs.”

“She's not leaving so you need to forget that.” Marcel replied “Be happy I spared your husband's life for the way he behaved tonight.

“You really lost your damn mind, don't talk to my mother like that!” I snapped at Marcel.

“Shut up Davina! It's your fault we're even here right now!” he yelled back and turned his attention back to my mother.

“Look I know I lost my temper a bit Aaliyah but it seemed you guys forgot who was really in charge over here.” Marcel said in a fake apologetic tone.

My mother looked at marcel“ This aggressiveness you have is not ok. I don’t want that around my daughter.” she replied.

“You know how this works Aaliyah you can’t keep my mate from me and to be truthful you wouldn’t make it out of the door.” he said matter a factly

“Oh my god.” I said sitting down burying my head in my hands. 

I snapped my head back up as I heard a loud bang which was Marcel being thrown through the wall by my dad who was now completely fine.

Marcel walked back in but in wolf form and he was pissed. Using my left hand immediately focused my power on my parents creating a barrier around them and my right hand was attempting to subdue marcel.

Marcel gave me a menacing growl before breaking free of my hold and leaving back through the hole in the wall.

I sighed, dropping the barrier around my parents. “I knew things would be like this.” I said as my eyes started to water.

“Do you finally see that he’s an untamed beast?” My father asked walking over to me

“He’s not usually like that dad I swear.”

“Well he was tonight. Whatever it is between you and that mutt its ends today.” My dad spat.

“”You don’t get a say in that I'm not going anywhere.” I looked both my parents in the eye. “I’m serious.” I clarified.

Marcel came back in his human form but he had an unreadable expression on his face. “Are you calm now?” I asked him and he nodded in return.

“Well davina if you really want to risk your life and stay then fine. Come home when you’ve realized you’ve made a huge mistake in not coming home with us.” My mom said walking out without even a glance back. My dad stared at me for a second longer before shaking his head and following my mother slamming the door behind him.

I couldn’t help it but I just broke down and the tears started running down my face as I cried. Marcel kneeled in front of me “I’m sorry about tonight. I may have lost my temper just a little.” he apologized

I snapped my head up to look at him. “I don’t accept your apology. I don’t think you're sincere.” 

“Baby You need to understand something about me. You father challenged me in my home” Marcel attempted to explain.

“I don’t care what he did! Let's not forget how you spoke to my mother then told me to shut up.” 

Marcel was quiet now but I wasn’t done with him. “ You literally have been a whole new person since I moved in. I don’t know this Marcel at all.”

“Nah I’m still the same. If you would have told your parents the truth when I asked you this could have been avoided.”

“Don’t try to turn this all on me Marcel.”

“I’m not, i’m telling you to own up to what the fuck you did!”

“If you don’t shut up your going back through the fucking wall!” I snapped getting up and started to walk away.

“You are being unreasonable, you know that!” He yelled after me.

“Seriously this is gonna get us no were so shut the fuck up!” I screamed back at him.  “Do you really even love me Marcel? I really think you should ask yourself that because I'm tired.” I replied as I walked into the guest room and shut the door behind me.

Chapter 7

Davina Pov’s

I woke up around 4am in the morning and just laid in bed for around 30 minutes when I realized I wasn’t gonna go back to sleep. I decided to go for a walk outside. I grabbed a jacket and some shoes and walked outside.The more I walked around the more I realized how beautiful MoonValley was. The trees and flowers were very calming but it was still dark out, probably almost 5 now. I looked around noticing I wandered too far away from the house because it wasn’t in sight anymore. 

I reached into my pocket for my phone but it’s not there. “Did I leave my phone back at the house?” I asked myself checking all my pockets only to jump after I heard something crack nearby. I looked around and nothing was there until I heard it again behind me and this time when I turned around there was this huge wolf. I slowly took a step back trying to make a bigger gap between us when it started to growl. “Fuck that.” I said then broke off into a run in the opposite direction. ”Someone help.” I screamed out as I was tackled to the ground. I tried to put up a fight but it was no use and it bit me on my side. I screamed in pain and decided if I wanted to live I had to use my magic or I was gonna die. I started to chant blasting the wolf off of me and I jumped to my feet “Incendia!” I yelled as I watched as the wolf was surrounded by fire then I took my chance and ran. I saw a clearing up ahead and then I could see a figure running  then stopped and I noticed it was Marcel. ”Marcel!” I screamed hysterically as I ran straight into his arms.

“Davina? What are you doing out here.” he asked.

“I was just walking... around then this...this wolf attacked me--” I tried to catch my breath but I couldn’t breath as I lost consciousness.

“Davina!” I heard him yell but I couldn’t answer.

Marcel Pov’s

I looked at my mate laying in my arms scanning her body looking for injuries when I found her bleeding on her right side. “Jason I have to go, Davina was here and got attacked by a rogue.” I said through the mindlink.

“Did she say where the rogue was?” Jason asked

“He’s most definitely in the woods close to the border and I saw fire. make sure you bring him in.”

“On it” he replied

I cut off the mind link carrying Davina to my car and drove to the emergency room as quickly as I could. The nurses had me wait in the lobby for 2 hours and I was growing impatient. I tried to figure out when she left the house. “I didn’t even hear her leave” I thought. 

“Alpha” I heard as I snapped my head up looking to see a doctor.

“Is she alright? She was having trouble breathing before she passed out.”

“She’s fine and good to go home actually.” he responded

I sighed in relief at the news. “What room is she in?” I asked

“Oh room 436 she’s awake but a little shaken up.”

“Ok thanks” I said as I started to walk to her room.

When I opened the door she was sitting up staring at the tv in front of her. I knocked on the door to get her attention. She turns and looks at me then sighs looking down.

“The doctor says you're okay” I say, grabbing a chair and moving it next to her bed while sitting down. She just nodded still quietly.

“You wanna tell me what you were doing in the woods at 5 am in the morning?”

Davina looked at me with tears in her eyes. “I couldn’t sleep so I decided to take a walk. I didn’t think it would be a problem.”

“You went behind the borders, did you not understand that anything could have happened; How dangerous it is to just roam around like that you could have died!” I yelled 

She flinched at the tone of my voice. “Who the hell do you think you are !? No, I don’t know because no one told me! I don’t know where the border is because no one told me! I know nothing, it's not my fault.” She broke into tears 

“watch how you talk to me.” I growled out “This isn’t your coven Davina things are different around here and dangerous if you are not careful.”

“Yo I would appreciate it if you lowered your damn voice I'm still in pain.” She snapped

“you're my mate and I would do anything for you, you may not see it now but you will.” I grab her pulling her into a hug burying my face in her neck. “I almost lost you after just finding you, this can’t happen again.” 

She pushes me away “Just take me home ok.” she said .

Standing up, my eyes still on her. “Can you walk?”

“I’ll walk if it gets me out of here. I hate hospitals.” she says getting out of the bed following me out of the room.

Not even a minute after I finished signing the papers I saw Davina's mother walk in.” Great, just what I needed right now.” I thought aloud.

“Davina oh my god are you ok  when the hospital called and told me what happened I nearly had a heart attack.” Aaliyah said while pulling davina into a hug; however davina wasn’t having it and pulled away immediately.

“I’m fine.” Davina replied

“Weren't you supposed to be protecting her but here I am visiting a hospital. Care to explain?” Aaliyah sounded angry.

“I didn’t know she left the house.”

“Can you guys stop? I'm literally right here.” Davina said, clearly irritated as she turned to me. “Can we leave? I'm starting to feel light headed.”

I nodded, turning to Aaliyah, “you can follow us back to my place. I need you to keep an eye on her for a while.”

“As if I need your permission to see my own daughter.”

I give her the ``I'm really done look “Seriously? Just stop.” like foreal It never ends with this woman.

I drove Davina back to the house and left her with her mother. I needed to contact Jason about the rogue. He was supposed to keep me updated but I’ve heard nothing so far.As I drove towards the packhouse I decided to Mind-link him. “Jason.” I called out

“Yea?”

“What happened with the rogue you never contacted me.”

“Oh yea my bad we got him just waiting at the packhouse.”

The fact that he wasn’t taking this seriously was pissing me off. “Good ,be there in a minute.” I cut the mind-link and got out of the car. I caught 3 familiar scents but no rogue which was weird.

As I walked into my office I found Jason, Eric standing above Derek who was sitting down with his head in his hands.

“Why is everyone so quiet? And where's the rogue? I ask suspiciously

“There was no rogue Marcel.” Jason replied looking at Derek “Care to explain to him what you told us.”

“Not really but I don't have much of a choice now do I.” Derek bluntly replied

“What did you do?” I ask

Derek looked up at me with a smirk on his face. “I was simply handling some personal business when she popped up. And to be fair I didn’t know she was your mate and if I did I would have ripped her throat out instead.”

I went for 0 to 100 real quick punching him straight in the face continuously. The rage I was feeling completely took over me and I was ready to kill. I felt arms trying to pull me from him but I wasn’t done yet.

“Marcel, you need to stop now you're gonna kill him!” Eric says, basically throwing me off of Derek.

I got ready to attack once again but was blocked by Jason this time. “Calm down man, he's not worth it.”

I knew Jason was right, I sigh, taking a step back, my eyes still on Derek. “You almost killed my mate and you continue to constantly disrespect me then laugh about it.” A look of disgust formed on my face as I looked at him. 

“You disrespected me by taking my spot as Alpha. remember that. This isn’t over marcel.” Derek seethed before walking out of my office.

“I’m gonna kill him if he keeps it up.

“Jason, you mind giving me and my son a minute.” Eric spoke up

“Not at all.” he said, walking out of the office making sure to close the door behind him.

I looked at my father with a questionable look. “ What’s up”

“You found your mate. I simply wanna know about her.”

I give a small smile, forgetting about Derek. “She’s a witch and extremely beautiful.”

“A witch that’s unusual. What else?”

“She’s got a feisty attitude but… I like it.” I say looking at the time. “10am it's still early.” I thought.

“Your mother is gonna love to hear the news.”

“Oh I know she will as she was bugging me for grandkids forever.” I laugh “Speaking of my mate I need to go back and check on her.”

Eric nodded watching me walk out of my office. I walked into Jay's office and knocked on the door and his head bolted up in surprise.

“You good?” I ask

“Oh yea i’m great I was just falling asleep I have no patients to check on right now.”

“Actually you do have one patient. I need you to meet me at my house in an hour.” I say before walking away not giving him a chance to respond.

The traffic was so bad it took me about 35 minutes to get home and by then I was really irritated. I opened the door to see Aaliyah sitting on the couch looking like she saw a ghost. Then she looked at me and sighed in relief. 

“What happened?” I asked suddenly worried

“She wasn't feeling good so I told her to lay down then not even 5 minutes later she had a fever of 107 which I'm sure is dangerous for anyone.”

I didn’t even answer her. I just pulled out my phone to call Jay telling him exactly what was going on.

“We have to get that fever down, it's too high and could cause brain damage.” Jay told me 

“Ok but you're not telling me how.” I ask, getting irritated.

“Run her a cold bath and add a lot of ice. She's gonna need it and before you put her in the water make sure she doesn’t have on any thick clothing.” 

“Alright and hurry up will you.” I say hanging up on him.

I had Aaliyah run the bathwater as I went and grabbed all the ice poured into the water.

“I'll pour the rest so get Davina please.” Aaliyah ordered.

I decided to let pass that one time as there was a more important matter to attend to and that was Davina. I picked her up, bringing her to the bathroom where her mom stripped her of clothing but making sure I had my head turned. I heard a knock on the door. Knowing it was Jay I went and let him in, leading him straight to the bathroom where Davina was.

“Good she is in the tub already. Now tell me how long it has been since she’s been in this condition.” Jay asked seriously.

“She was fine an hour ago.” Aaliyah said.

“Where's the injury you were telling me about Marcel?.” 

“On her right hip.” I say.

“This is a werewolf bite right? Do you know who’s.” Jay asked 

“Yea it was Derek why.”

“It’s not important right now. She'll be fine. Keep her in here for about 30 minutes.”

“Are you sure she’s gonna be ok?” said a very concerned Aaliyah. 

“Yes mam I promise.” Jay assured me.

Aaliyah sighed in relief holding back tears. “I wish I could stay but I got a call not too long before you came in Marcel. I have to go.”

“That's fine I’ll keep you updated.”

“Thank you.” she said as she grabbed her jacket and left.

As soon as she walked out of the door Jay turned to me with a serious look on his face and I knew it was bad news.

“We have a problem alpha.” Jay said.

“What do you mean?” I ask.

“I mean she is turning and it could go two ways; she survives as she has her first shift or dies by not being able to handle it.”

“Fuck man!” I yell out frustrated. There was a chance that I could still lose her and I was scared out of my mind at this point. “Why when I find my mate this shit has to happen.” I thought aloud.

Jay had gone to check on Davina's temperature while I was internally wishing I had ripped Derek's head off.

“Marcel, her fever has already gone down. If we keep this up she’s gonna make it, don't beat yourself up yet.”

I nodded hoping he was right. “She’s strong and she can get through this.” I thought as I looked down at my mate’s beautiful form. Davina’s fever stayed at 103 for about 2 days before it finally broke on day 3 which was a relief in my book. 

“Marcel she’s gonna shift soon you should take her out back.” Jay said

I nodded, walking over to Davina picking her up and carrying her to the backyard.

As I lay her down on the grass she looked up at me with confusion all over her face. A couple minutes later Davina lets out an agonizing cry. “It hurts! Please make it stop!” she cried out as I heard multiple cracks come from her body which made me flinch. After 3 minutes the shift was complete and before me stood a black wolf with red eyes. It was only a brief second before she shifted back into her human form and passed out.

Chapter 6

Marcel’s POV

1 week Later… 

“Babe we’re going to be late!” I called out.

“I’m coming. She replied walking into the living room.. “How do I look?” she asked.

“You look absolutely beautiful.” I replied holding out my hand. “ Ready to go?”

“Yup.” she said excitedly, taking my hand walking out of the house to his red Lexus. We sat in a comfortable silence listening to music on the way to the pack house where we were throwing a welcoming party for the new Etlies. My hand hovered over Davina’s exposed thigh. 

“Stop teasing Marcel.” she warned.

“I don't know what you're talking about.” I smirked glancing over at her for a second.  

“Wow it’s gorgeous.” Davina said once we stepped inside the decorated ballroom. 

“Not as gorgeous as you.” I smiled pulling her closer to me. She smiled placing a kiss on my cheek.

“Stop it.” she giggled.

“What? I Can’t show my woman some love? C’mon we have to meet the new Elites.” I wrapped her hand in mine bringing her along as I started to mingle.

“I’ll be back. I'm going to use the bathroom.” Davina told me

“Ok. I’ll be with Jason.” As I was catching up with Jason about something(lol please change that idk what they do) Gabriella walked over to us in the ugliest dress I’ve ever seen . 

“Hey Marcel.” she winked before finishing off her drink. She closed the space between us wrapping her arms around my neck.. 

“I see you came alone.”

“I'm not alone. I'm here with my mate so get off me.”

“Oh? Since when were you mated? We were together not too long ago.” she said a little too loudly. I pulled her closer and whispered.  

“ENOUGH! You're taking this too far.” I growled

“That's not what you said last time. You know when I was screaming your name.” she said even louder causing people to turn towards us. 

“What the hell is this?!” Davina yelled staring at us. 

“Wait I can ex-”

“No no no, This bitch just said she slept with you“ Davina’s eyes were filled with anger.

“Who are you callin a bitch?” Gabriella provoked stepping closer to Davina. 

“You Bitch! Do I need to say it louder?” Davina raised her hand pointing at Gabriella so I stepped in front of her.  

“Davina calm down.” I grabbed her face forcing her to look at me. 

“What do you mean calm down?Marcel don’t play with me cause I swear” She said with her brown eyes almost black still filled with angier. 

“Let her at me. I'm not afraid of a little girl.” Gabriella challenged. 

“Davina!” Aaliyah yelled. I looked up and all eyes were on us. Davina’s parents were walking over to us. 

“Marcel I don't think your relationship with my daughter is appropriate at all. Has she been with you this whole time? David asked. Aaliyah took Davina from me. 

    “Davina you know you're not supposed to use your powers outside the coven. What has gotten into you these days?” 

“Excuse me when did any magic leave these hands?” I asked my mom

“Wait I thought you told your parents you moved in with me.” I questioned standing there confused. 

“No she just disappeared.” Aaliyah replies. 

“ I didn’t disappear, I moved in with Marcel.” Davina corrected Aaliyah 

“Moved in?” David repeated hurt. Davina’s eyes were no longer filled with anger, they were now filled with regret. 

“Davina what’s going on?” I asked turning to look at her.

“We need to talk.” she grabbed my hand taking me outside. I mindlinked Jason to tell him to keep the party going. We walked away leaving the party behind us.

“What the fuck! You said You told them.”

“No, the real question is why you're still sleeping with your ex?” she snapped.

“I haven’t been with that girl you know that. But fuck that I wanna know why you lied to me. Aaliyah isn’t gonna wanna build an alliance with me because you can’t tell the truth.”

“Is that all you're concerned about? It’s like you care more about  the stupid alliance than our relationship” she fumed with anger. 

“You know that's not true. I'm trying to get rid of all the hate between our people but you're making it worse.” 

“Why is all this my fault? I just didn't tell them I was moving in so it’s not that serious. You always talk about the fucking alliance it’s been a year hurry up. And now you're sleeping with your damn ex behind my back? ”

“You know what I’m not about to entertain yo bullshit right now. I need to cool off. I'll see you at home.” I turned on my heels and started to walk away when she called me.

“Marcel! We came together. Running away won't solve anything.”

“I’m not running away. I just need to cool off right now ” Trying to control my growing anger

“Ok well give me the car keys cause i’m not walking home.” she held out her hand.

I gave a small laugh “That’s cute baby but you're not driving my car.” I said point blankly

She closed her eyes and took in a deep breath “Marcel are you really….. Hmmmmm. You know what... it’s fine.” she replied “Unbelievable.” as she stormed off walking back into the pack house 

“Fuck!” I yelled. I was so Pissed off I didn’t even take the time to undress as I began to shift. It was only a second before I was in werewolf form running towards the woods.2 hours after trying to clear my head I managed to calm down to a certain extent. 

Ring! 

My phone went off. I knew it was Davina. She's been blowing me up for 30 minutes. I decided to stop ignoring her so I picked up.

“Come home right now!” Davina demanded

“Nah I was gonna stay at the office tonight.” I said sarcastically.” I’m pulling in the driveway right now.” I told her and she hung up the phone.

I walked through the door to find a knife floating in my face. I simply grabbed it and walked into the living room where Davina was waiting sitting on the couch. 

I lifted my right hand Looking at her. “ A knife?”

“What’s the point of having a phone if you don't answer.” She asked 

“I did answer.”

“That doesn’t include the calls before that. Are you even concerned about how I got home?”

“Jason told me he dropped you off.”

“So you answered Jason's phone call but ignored mine ok.” I heard her voice crack a bit but I ignored it.

“No, I ignored you. Werewolves have a different way of communicating.” I clarified

“Well are you ready to finish talking about what happened tonight or what?” 

 I joined her on the couch setting the knife down on the coffee table. “You mean how you didn’t tell your parents about moving in with me?” I asked “ Help me understand that.”

“Ok so I made some poor decisions, but i’m not cheating.”

“I haven’t been with anyone else since I met you.” I said sincerely “ but you need to fix this with your parents before this blows up even more.”

“Ok i’ll go in the morning.”

I shook my head “No invite them over for Dinner.”

“Ok then.” She replied “Goodnight” getting up and walking into the bedroom.

Marcel’s pov

I mindlinked Jason letting him know I wouldn’t be coming in today. Today I wanted to ask Davina to officially move in with me without fighting. I Walked into the bedroom with a cup of coffee for her.

“Thanks baby.” She said taking the cup out of my hand.

“your welcome” giving her a quick kiss before sitting back down on the bed. “Alright I wanna ask you something just hear me out.”

Giving me a skeptical look ”ok” 

“Moving in would be good for us don’t you think? We would be able to see each other more and take our relationship further.” 

“This is a really big step that I don’t know if i’m ready for.” She confessed “But I guess i’m willing to do it for you. 

“Don’t lie because you can’t take it back.” 

“I’m not, I swear.” She laughed drinking her coffee

“I called out thinking you would put up a fight.”

She laughed “I just changed my mind that's all.” She said 

“So you're telling me all you needed was some dick to change your mind?” I asked

“That's not what I meant.” she said embarrassed putting her cup down 

“Mhm”I said, smirking. Leaning in I kissed and sucked her neck a couple more times leaving a nice sized hickey

“Ok well I need to go home now. I currently have 150 missed calls from my parents.” She complained.

“Alright I guess.” I agreed standing to go get dressed, She jumped up right after me to do the same. 

AT the pack House…..

After dropping Davina off I came into the packhouse. “Jason where are you?” I asked through mindlink 

“In the training room monitoring the stats on the new recruits.” Jason replied

I walked towards the training room, what makes MoonValley the strongest pack is our warriors themselves. Not a single thing can be lacking. I tell every single one of them that your life is only guaranteed if you can protect it. Or don’t join my army if you aren't prepared for a real battle.

“How is everyone doing so far?” I asked Jason walking up beside him

“So far everyone is fine. We have our top five picks to join the warrior Elites.” Jason said confidently

“Why are you adding so many?” I asked

“Well 3 left us and 2 are dead. The elites are of twelve people.”

“Who are they? I have to see if they are qualified myself.” I said starting to stretch, I could use a good spar. “So who’s the number one pick.” I asked

“Kelsey.” Jason said practically swooning.

“A woman? Is she from our pack?” I asked

“No she’s from the Bane Pack.” jason answered

“Makes sense Viola’s pack has very strong minded women which make them stronger in battle. Good choice who else?”. 

“Then we have Marques, Riley, Gabriella, and Corey.”

“Gabriella? You're joking right?” I Looked at him seriously.

“No, I evaluated her myself and she proved her spot. Don’t be petty.”

“Shut up, I'm not. Bring me Kelsey for a spar.”

“Alright then.” Jason said walking off

Kelsey walked up to be 3 minutes later. “Alpha, is there a reason you asked for me? Sounding worried

“Yea to spar. Are you up for it? I asked

“I’m always up for a fight. Let's do it.”

We both got into our fighting stances, Kelsey attacked first with a high kick aiming for my head only to be immediately blocked. We spared for about 30 minutes and I have to admit she earned that number one spot fair and square. She can give Viola a run for her money if she tried. 

“Good spar Kelsey and welcome to the Warrior Elite.”

“Thank you Alpha.” Bowing before walking away.

Davina Pov

I walked into My home to find my mom waiting in the living room. With her head in her hands. 

“Mom are you ok.” I asked

“Where have you been, I called Katherines and Lisa. You weren’t there. I called you multiple times and so did your father, and you ignored us completely.” She was talking in a calm tone which freaked me out.

“I was with Alpha Marcel.” I confessed 

“Why what happened.” Both suddenly concerned

“Nothing happened Marcel and I were just hanging out.”

Marcel huh.” David said joining the conversation “something going on between you and the Alpha?

You got this Davina “Were dating.” I replied scared of their reaction.

“I know one thing. You better not be serious right now Davina.” her tone was serious.

“I think she’s very serious look at her neck.” David said pointing at my neck causing me to slap my hand over the hickey. Dammit Marcel.

“Well that stops today. I will not allow my own daughter to betray our ways; Nor will you run this coven if this relationship continues.” Aaliyah raised her voice.

“I don’t have to end a relationship because you guys don’t like it.” I snapped

“I did not raise you to fall in love with a damn werewolf.” David snapped back. “Your mother and I have to leave to meet with the Ancestral Circle. You will not leave this house until we return in the evening to continue talking about this.

“Yea sure I’ll be here. But there's nothing you can say to change my heart.” I said flatley

They ignored my words and walked out of the house slamming the door behind them. “It’s not my door so not my problem if you break your own shit.” I walked into my room and started packing my stuff. I knew if I waited for them to come back they would make sure I didn’t see Marcel ever again. I Called Katherine Over so she could help me pack.

Ten minutes later Katherine bursts into my room. “You're moving in with him, are you crazy?”

“Yes I’m a psycho actually.” I replied sarcastically

“Are you sure you're ready for this? I mean I’ll support you but this is a big step.”

“Well what’s wrong with a leap of faith?” My parents are gonna go nuts.”

“The coven is gonna go nuts if they find out.”

“Well the coven won’t find out if someone keeps their mouth shut.” looking at her seriously

Katherine threw her hands up. “Hey my lips are sealed.” Before she continued to help me pack.

“Good because I need you to drop me off at Marcel’s.” I said with a innocent smile

“Yea you know I got you.”

I laughed as we continued to talk and pack. It took only an hour to pack everything and load it into katherines car. 

“Is that Everything?” kat asked

“Yea, I'm ready to go.” I said getting in the car

“Then off we go.” Kat said, driving off.

I texted Marcel right after we left telling him I was on my way back. He said he was at the pack house right now so I should meet him there.

“He’s not at home so you have to drop me off at the pack house.” I told kat

“Alrighty then.” She replied, making a right at the light.

At the pack house

I knocked on his office door, excited to see him even though we were together this morning.

“Come in.” I heard him call out

I Opened the door with a big smile on my face. “Hey babe” I said as I shut the door.

“Hey” he replied, getting up and walking over to me.

“Guess what? I asked, throwing my hands around his neck. He looked at me questionably while placing his hands on my waist.

“What? You told your family about us?” 

“Yea and I packed up and came straight here.” I told him. He smiled then leaned down to kiss me passionately. 

We both jumped as the office door flung open “Marcel I just made a trip to the training wa-- Oh I’m sorry I didn’t mean to interrupt. Eric said as he looked back and forth between us before walking back out of the room smirking.

Marcel rolled his eyes, turning my attention back to me. “Can you wait a couple hours? I have some paperwork and a meeting to go to before I can leave.”

“Yea I can wait.” I replied walking over to the couch.

“Ok then” He said, walking back over to his desk. 

He sat at his desk for 2 hours reading and signing papers, and making phone calls. Then left me in his office to go to a 45 minute meeting. “I know I said I can wait a couple hours but I’m bored as hell.” I ended up falling asleep since Marcel's meeting dragged longer than it was supposed to.

I woke up and noticed that I wasn’t on the couch anymore but in Marcel's bedroom. I got up and walked into the living room to look for Marcel but he wasn't there. “Babe where are you?” I called out. 

“In the bathroom give me a second.” he replied 

I Leaned on the back of the couch and waited for him to come out of the bathroom. 3 minutes later he came out.

“What time did we get back?” I asked as I watched him walk towards me.

“Around 4:30 or 4:45 maybe.” He replied as he grabbed my waist. 

I nodded my head. Moving out of his hold “Time to help me unpack.” I said walking over to my suitcases. “

“What did you even bring?” he asked “I couldn’t even fit all that in my Lexus.”

“The first 3 are my shoes and those 4 are my clothes. Then I have one for my purses, one for make-up,and lastly my jewelry.” I said excitedly 

“You can have the guest room closet cause that won’t fit in mine.” Marcel told me

“That’s fine. Now help me.” I said as I started dragging one of my suitcases into the guestroom, Marcel right behind me with 1 in each hand as we started to unpack.

Davina’s pov

I decided to go off on my own so I could think. I loved Marcel but he could be a huge pain in the ass at times. I sat on a bench and just started scrolling through my phone on Instagram then decided to post the pictures I took today with my girls. Everyone back at the coven was going to be jealous. I smiled at the thought.

“What are you doing over here alone beautiful.” said some random guy walking up to me 

“Minding my own business.” I shot back, rolling my eyes. I just felt a vibe from this guy. He didn't seem like he had good intentions especially with the way he was looking at meI watched as he got closer to me then spoke again.

“What’s with the attitude I just came to say hi to you.” He was smiling now as he tried to touch my arm.

“Well, I don’t even know you for you to be touching me so back up!” I yelled at him. I really hated it when people just touched me without my permission. It's mad rude.

“Calm down baby, you don’t want anyone to stare.” his voice got serious 

I started to back up since I realized he wasn’t going to leave me alone. He grabbed me by my left wrist then I heard him growl which let me know he was a werewolf. I decided that he needed a wake-up call on who he was messing with. I raised my right hand and focused completely on him. He gasped for air as he let go of my wrist stumbling backwards.

“What...are ….. You……” He gasped again as he fell to his hands and knees

“What’s going on here?” I heard Marcel’s voice  

I'm fixated on my prey so I ignored him until I heard an extremely loud growl. It’s so loud I jumped out of my trance looking for the source to see Marcel standing not too far from me. I have to admit I was scared because he looked extremely pissed by the situation in front of him.

“What the fuck is going on here!” Marcel yelled

“This bitch is crazy alpha all I did was ask her why she was here alone and she went all witch crazy.” the guy yells out still trying to catch his breath.

“That’s a bold-faced lie!” I shot back then looked at Marcel “I was minding my own business when he came over trying to be all smooth and when I told him to fuck off he got aggressive.” I said calmly

I watched as Marcel studied me and the other wolf for a few minutes. Before he walked over and grabbed me to search for bruises which he found on my left wrist. 

Turning his attention to my aggressor “What’s your name?”

“Benjamin” he replied with his head down

“Look at me when I speak to you Benjamin.” Marcel’s voice was serious. Benjamin looked at him in the eye as he was told only to be punched right in the face right above his nose by Marcel.

“Serves him right!” I thought to myself with a smile on my face 

“Jason take him to the cellar and let him stay there all night to think about his actions.” Alpha Hayes stated bluntly

I was too busy trying to figure out where Jason had come from. I didn’t even notice he was here until Marcel said his name. I looked back at Marcel who hadn’t taken his eyes off Benjamin as Jason walked away with him.

I cleared my throat to get his attention. “ He attacks your girlfriends and all he gets is a night in a fucking cellar? Really?”

“Well it looked like you didn’t need me anyway.” he told me

“Wow, that’s just great.” I say looking away with my head down trying to hide the fact that I was angry

“You’re not off the hook either alright. You know you're not supposed to use magic outside your coven.” looking at me like I committed a bigger crime than Benjamin. I looked back at him with a shocked look on my face.

“I just told you I was defending myself I wouldn’t have otherwise!” I yelled trying to figure out why I was suddenly in trouble.

“That's not the first time you’ve used magic or did you forget throwing me into a wall and breaking my glass?”

“How do you even know the second one was me? There's five witches here. And Annie talked about hexing you.”

“Annie’s not here though is she?” Look I understand the situation Davina but you know the rules.” sounding as if he was getting annoyed.

“Fine I guess.” I said giving up sitting back on the bench.

“Look baby, you know I hate it when you're mad at me.” He said softly.

“Oh so i’m your baby now? No, that's not how this is gonna go.”

“ You just don’t know when to stop---”

“I don’t have energy for this right now ok marcel just go away!” I buried my face in my hands. 

“I'm not gonna leave you here alone.” sitting next to me on the bench

“I wanna leave.” I said lifting my head looking at him

“Ok well let's leave together. We're not done talking.” Marcel insisted

“No, I wanna go home Marcel.” I replied irritably

“I’ll take you home myself, just talk this out with me. Ok?”

I sighed it didn’t seem like he was going to let it go so I just nodded my head. “I’ll text Katherine and tell her to go without me.” Pulling out my phone “sent.”

“Follow me.” Was all he said before walking off and I just got up and followed him but I truly wanted to just go home.

“So we're going to your house,'' I said, recognizing the street.

“Yup.” he replied as we walked to his front door

When we got inside the house I walked straight to the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water and sat down on the couch. Marcel joined me and started to speak.

“I don’t wanna fight anymore.” he says

“Then don’t.” I replied flatley.

“Babe for one second please.” he groaned throwing his head back 

“I’m not doing anything but speaking facts.” I said

“No you're being ridiculous.” he snapped

“If you say so.” I replied looking away

Marcel Pov !!! ( I know abrupt switch)

I gave a loud sigh. “What do I have to do to fix this? I’ll do anything.”

She looked back at me. “The first thing you can do is apologize for the way you spoke to me yesterday.”

I was gonna protest when she cut me off. “You said you would do anything.” she said seriously.

“Alright alright i’m sorry. Happy?”

“Not yet. That didn’t seem genuine enough.” she said, crossing her arms sitting back. 

“Do I at least get an apology too, you know, for getting tossed across my office?” I asked

“No you deserved that.” 

“Ok then.” I said 

“Oh my god!” she groaned

“Look, I don't think I did anything wrong.”

“You might not think you were wrong but you still hurt me. Do I not get a sincere apology for that?” She reasoned

I sighed “I didn’t think about it like that.”

“Well I'm waiting.” she said

“I’m genuinely sorry and I love you.” I told her SHe smiled and leaned in for a hug burying her face in my shirt.

“I love you too.” she muttered in my shirt before pulling away looking at me. “I’ll forgive you this time., but the next time you talk to me like you're crazy, your black ass is gonna regret it.

“Mhm.” I said before leaning in, placing a kiss on her lips. She immediately kissed me back and we ended up making out on the couch. 

Davina’s phone went off, making her jump back. “Wow it’s just an alarm I forgot to turn off.” she said as she checked her phone.

“Good.” I said as I picked her up and threw her over my shoulders.

She giggled “What are you doing?”

“To have some fun.” He replied walking to his bedroom

“But it’s late and you know I always get sleepy after sex.”

“Then stay all night.” I said as I slowly started leaving a trail of kisses down her neck.

“OK” she moaned heavily in agreement.

“Jason what’s the situation with the rogues at the border?” I asked

“They fell back about an hour ago.”

“Good now I need you to call Alpha Devon from the Bane pack and tell him I have my visit set for next week.”

“Why are you visiting the Bane pack?” Jason asked

“The elders reside at their border. I have to speak with them about my alliance with the witches”

“Alright i’ll go make the call now.” Jason said as he walked out of the door.

I walked around my desk and sat down closing my eyes. My eyes snapped open as I heard my office door open when I saw it was Davina.

“Hey babe.” she walked in with her beautiful smile “You ok you seem stressed?” she asked, sitting down on my lap.

“Oh i’m good now.” I joked

She laughed. “Good.” she said leaning down planting a kiss on my lips

“One more.” I asked 

She smiled again before leaning down giving me another kiss. 

“Move in with me.” 

“Say what now.” She questioned with big eyes

“Move in with me.” I repeated

 “You know I can’t. Not yet. I have to find a way to tell my parents.” Davina sighed focusing on her hands resting in her lap. 

 I grabbed her hands wrapping them in mine. “It’s time babe they need to know.”

“How about we wait a little longer--” 

“Davina, it's been a year, what are you talking about.” I sighed in frustration.

“I just don’t think it’s the right time.”

“When is the right time then? We had this same conversation a year ago.”

“I know I remember perfectly. I’m just not ready.”

“So now you're not ready, which one is it? Is it because you're not ready or because you don’t wanna tell your parents?”

“I don’t think it’s that big of a deal. Why are you acting like this all of a sudden.” she said getting defensive

“Because I don’t think you're taking this seriously I'm not trying to sneak around any longer with my own mate.”

“Mate? And what do you mean I'm not taking this seriously. I literally sneak out of my coven to see you. What the hell.” She was now standing up.

“You're not taking this seriously because if you were you would’ve been told your parents.”

”Marcel, you're not being fair. I have my coven to think about too and how they would react.”

“Don’t do that. Because I have a whole pack to think about, I love you but if you felt this way you shouldn’t have gotten involved with me i’m not about to sit around and play these l games.”

She looked at me like she had been slapped in the face. “Then don’t.” And with that being said she turned towards the door.

“Davina baby were are you going all I’m asking you to do is meet me halfway alright. I’ve waited a year.”

She turned around and pointed her finger in my face. “ You will not give me an ultimatum you don’t have the fucking right!.” She screamed “I'm leaving.” she once again turned away and walked towards the door.

“Davina.” I called to her attempting to grab her arm

She immediately yanked her arm away from me “Don’t touch me Marcel, I’m serious.” Continuing for the door.

I ignored her request Grabbing her right arm and yanking her towards me. “I can’t--- I was interrupted as she tossed me into the wall with just a hand motion.

“I said don’t touch me! I don’t wanna talk to you right now.” Davina snapped, slamming the door walking out.  

Davina POV

I went straight home after the fight and took a cold shower to cool off. Sadly the shower didn’t work and I was still fuming.

“Davina come eat dinner.” Aaliyah yelled

I walked into the dinning room and sat down at the table putting a fake smile on my face. I didn’t want them to notice my current mood. “This looks great mom.” I said as I got ready to eat.

“It is great, she wasn’t playing in that kitchen tonight.” David praised

All my mom made was steak, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. “ yea ok dad.” I said taking a bite of my steak. It was good but definitely over hyped. “It tastes good.” 

“Thanks honey, By the way I wanted to talk to you about an event I want you to attend. Aaliyah told me

“Ok.” I replied, taking another bite of my food.

“Alpha Marcel invited us to Moon Valley square for some party that residents put together. I want you to go and take some friends with you.” 

“I only have like four friends and why can’t you go.” I really didn't wanna see Marcel right now.

“Because it’s tomorrow and i’m busy. Look you should be happy i’m sending you in the first place. When have I ever allowed you around so many wolves without me around huh?” 

I rolled my eyes. “If Only she knew.” I thought. “ Ok fine what time.” I asked

“Five on the dot.” Aaliyah answered

“Ok well im all done. SO i’m gonna go call the girls and tell them we’re going to a werewolf party.” 

“Well I hope you won’t say those exact words.” David chimed in

“Nooo of course not.” I said sarcastically walking into my bedroom shutting the door behind me.

 The Next day

I got out of the car with my best friend Katherine holding my hand. We were so excited to go to the cookout since it was our first event outside the coven. 

"Davina! Katherine!” called Stephanie

When we looked in her direction I saw Stephenie, Lisa, and Annie waiting for us in the centre of the town square  waving at us so we walked over waving back with a big smile on our faces.

"Took you guys long enough." Lisa said mockingly

"Well, perfection takes time so sorry, not sorry." I shot back with a petty smile

“Looks plain to me.” Lisa Replied  (savage Lmaoo)

(Davina’s outfit)

I looked to my left to see Marcel and his beta approaching us. I looked back at my friends.” The Alpha is coming this way.” I told them

"Let’s cast a funny hex on him!" Annie smirked

I stopped walking and looked at Annie in the eye  “Why would we do that where is the logic." Sometimes I question why I'm friends with her.

“It would be fun though.” Annie replied

“As long as you're willing to deal with the consequences.” said Marcel as he walked up to us smiling. It took everything in me not to roll my eyes at him. “Play nice Davina” I thought to myself.

Annie slapped her hand over her mouth quickly feeling embarrassed.  

“Nice to meet you uh…” Said Marcel

“Well you already know me but this is Katherine, Annie, Lisa, and Stephenie .” I Introduced

“Hi.” they said in unison

 “Well there's plenty to do today we’ve got fresh BBQ to the right along with deserts  then to the left we have a bar 20 and up but don’t get too drunk..” Marcel told us

“Thanks, that's great, let's go guys.” I said trying to walk away from marcel. 

“Wait Davina I need to talk to you for a second alone.” Marcel stopped me. I sighed and turned around to look at him

“Why?” The attitude is clear in my voice

“Now.” He said Blatantly before walking to a corner and I just followed

“Marcel i'm here to have fun not argue.”

“Who’s fault is that? why is it so hard to tell them about us?”

“We can talk about this later. People are starting to stare.”

“Do I look like I give a fuck about who’s watching”

“Bye Marcel” i said walking back over to my friends.

“What was that about? He doesn’t not look happy.” Stephanie asked

“It’s nothing serious he just has anger issues.” I said The first thing we did was grab some bbq. We all sat down by a nearby table with our food excited.

We ate our food and socialized with the people around us who were also very nice. I began to wonder why our coven kept us so withdrawn from everything when everyone was so nice and harmless. What had the werewolves done for my coven to make them such a way towards them? Then I looked back at Marcel who was chatting to some girl.

She was laughing and touching his arm like he was funny. I wanted to know what the fuck was so funny. I looked down towards the glass she was holding , I squeezed my hands shut and I shattered both Marcel and her drinks. I quickly acted as if I saw nothing but I could feel Marcel staring at the back of my head.

Davina’s Pov

I walked into my classroom and sat next to my best friend Katherine.This girl right here is like my sister. We've known each other since we cast our first spell at 7 years old.

“Hey, did I miss anything important?” I asked Katherine

“You're Only 5 minutes late, what could you have missed?” 

“You're right she never starts until fifteen minutes after anyway.” I laugh getting settled in.

“So where did you go this morning that had you late in the first place.” Katherine curiously asked, taking out last night's homework.

”I met up with the Alpha of the moon valley pack.” I Whispered to her not wanting anyone else to hear.

“Shut up no you didn’t.” said a completely shocked Katherine.

“Well my family was invited to his dinner party and he was so fine I couldn't say no when he asked for my number. Then he hit me up this morning, so we met up and he told me he wanted to be my boo and I was like why not.” I inhaled to catch my breath. I was speaking to fast

“Ok who are you right now! Your parents would flip if they knew about this Davina, real shit.”

“And they won’t find out anytime soon I already told him that. I wanna make sure the relationship works if I'm gonna be going against my family.” I clarified

“I don’t know, I'm actually a little scared for you. This isn’t gonna end well. I have a bad feeling.” Katherine said very concerned

“It’s gonna be fine nothing is gonna happen can you just support me on this? I pleaded

“Ok fine.” Katherine said and gave me a smile

“Yay”  I celebrated

“Davina, Katherine, anything you wanna share with us?” Professor Jess asked.

“No thanks.” we replied, opening our spell books along with the rest of the class. 

Today we were supposed to be learning about the locator spell and how to perfectly execute it. I already knew the spell though so this was gonna be like a walk in the park for me. Unless something goes wrong.

After my classes I went straight home and luckily my dad was the only one there. My mom wasn’t happy that I left this morning without telling her where I went. “ Hey Dad.” I said walking past him

“Wait come back here.” he ordered.

I walked back into the den area and looked at my dad. “Yes?” I smiled as if nothing happened.

“Were did you go this morning huh.” he asked suspiciously.

“Oh I was with Katherine and she wanted to meet up before class started.” 

“About?” he pushed.

“Dad, I'm 19, a little privacy please?”

“Privacy? You live in my house.” 

“Well dad it’s really personal so back off will you? 

“Alright fine.” he said, grabbing his book sitting back down. 

I was off the hook for now. 

“Thanks.” I sighed walking into my bedroom shutting the door behind me.

My life consists of being the perfect daughter and the best at everything. I know most of the spells before the professor even teaches it to us. Not to mention I'm in an advanced combat training class. When Marcel approached me I felt like it was the perfect escape from all my problems and I hope I’m right.

The next morning I was focusing on this energy potion that helps you cast stronger spells. It was a work in progress, but my mind kept drifting to Marcel so I decided to take a break. I sat on my bed, grabbed my phone and decided to text him first.

“Hey.” I sent

“Hey. is that really all you can come up with?” I thought to myself

“Wassup?” He replied

“Are you busy, can I call?” I asked

I got up and looked outside my room door before locking it. I needed to do a spell so that I could have some privacy on the phone. I thought really hard about the spell I should use before it just clicked.

Ring!

My phone went off signaling I had a call. Looking at the caller it was Marcel.

“Shit I didn’t do the spell yet.” I complained

“Surdus Muffliato.” I said aloud “How do I know If it worked?” I thought.

“Mom!!! I yelled at the top of my lungs. And when no one replied I answered the phone.

“Hey.” I said getting comfy on my bed.

“Hey what you been up to?” he asked.

“I was working on a potion but you sorta crept into my mind so yea.” I said slightly embarrassed

“So you were thinking about me, I got you.” he joked.

I laughed “Don’t get cocky now .”

“So how are we gonna do this? You wanna keep everything a secret until when?” suddenly getting serious

“I’ll tell my parents when I know me and you are forever.”

“So You don’t think we’ll last?” 

“No, that's not what I’m saying. I just want my parents to know how happy I am When I tell them. Then they won’t fight me as much if you get what I’m saying. Plus I wanna spend more time getting to know you.”

“Yea I get you. I promise to make you as happy as I can, but I’m not perfect alright.”

“I don't expect you to be so it’s ok.” I smiled. I don’t know what it is but there was something about him that made me wanna risk it all and I can’t deal. We talked for an hour learning some new things about each other in the process; however he had to get back to work Alpha duties. 

“Riverse.” I said snapping my finger “the silencing spell should be gone now.”

“Mom!!!” I yelled again

“Yes honey why are you yelling like that.” My mom answered confused.

“Never mind I thought I lost my spell book. I’m working on a potion.”

“A potion that makes you scream? Keep it down while your father’s resting.”

“Will do.” I laughed awkwardly as she walked out of the room.

I sighed in relief”I need a new way to test these spells because that is a classic way to get caught.” I walked back over to my potion and  continued where I left off.

The Alpha & His Little Witch: Eternity: Chapter 1

MARCEL POV

Tonight is the anniversary of the day I claimed the Alpha Position and I must say I’ve had better days,

“I’m almost 30 without a mate I’m losing faith” I tell my beta Jason

“You’re 26 years old, you're still years away from 30 man your time is coming.” Jason replied

“I hope you're right or I'll kill you for lying.” I said with a smile as I walked away

“Haha you're kidding right.” Jason Laughed but his smile faded when he saw him walking away. “Aye you can’t be serious man” Jason yelled running after him. 

I walked into my office and sat at my desk only for my mother to burst in 5 seconds later. 

“Marcel, you need to be dressed, your dinner is in a hour.” Nina said walking into the office.

“Yea I only need 10 minutes to get ready so I’ll be fine.” I simply replied

“My dear son you have to mingle with your guests. You know the ones you invited.” Nina Insisted

“Alright let me get ready then.” I sighed

“Thank you.” Nina smiled then walked out of the office shutting the door behind her.

I sighed but got up and got ready to greet my guests. It’s a shame that even though i’m 26 my mother still likes to bark orders at me. I looked in the mirror and thanked the moon goddess for another day here on this earth. I went to greet Alpha Devon and Alpha Viola. They are the only Alphas that aren’t completely annoying so why not. 

“Ah there he is!” Alpha Devon yelled out

“Nice to see you too Devon.” I said sarcastically

I looked to my left to see Alpha Viola. Yes she is a female Alpha but she damn sure earned that position. “Viola It’s good to see you.” I called 

“I wish I could say the same but I'm too focused on why you invited witches?” Viola said while staring me down

“Not that it's any of my business but I wanna know too.” Devon Chimed in 

“Well it’s not your business but i’m seeking an alliance with their coven that's all you need to know.” I Replied 

“Ugh why would you wanna do that? They can’t be trusted.”

“Maybe but it’s a new era with me as the Alpha trying something new won’t hurt.” I said before walking to the witches to greet them.

Aaliyah the Head of the Witches looked at me with a small smirk on her face “Alpha Hayes what a pleasure to finally meet you in person.” Aaliyah greeted “This is my husband David” Pointing to the tall male “and my daughter Davina.” Gesturing to the Young girl next to them who had her head down 

“Nice to meet you and welcome to MoonValley.” I said with a smile until Davina looked up and we Locked eyes as if on que. It was only a split second but I instantly knew she was my mate. I cleared my throat, gaining everyone's attention.

“I’m sure you're all hungry. Let's get this dinner started shall we?” I say walking to the dining hall. Everyone Followed behind me and after I took my seat so did everyone else.

The dinner was fast for only an hour and a half. Aaliyah and her husband had walked outside but Davina was still here talking to my sister Sienna. So I took that as my chance to talk to her.

“Davina do you have a minute.” I asked

“ Um sure.” she answered unsure. Sienna, giving me a questioning look but walked away.

“I know we just met but I wanted to tell you that you are beautiful.”

Davina gave a smile before looking away embarrassed. “Thank you Alpha Hayes.”

I smiled back before speaking again. “ I wanted to talk about--- I was cut off as her phone went off.

“I'm sorry it's my dad they’re waiting for me in the car can we talk another time.” Davina asked with her angelic voice

“Yea no rush, let me get your number so we can meet up.”

“Ok then.” Davina said, asking for my phone. Handing her my phone she put her number in.

 “Ok all set, thanks for the dinner, have a good night.” She smiles sweetly. I watched her walk back inside. She was gone but I knew I would see her again and that’s all that mattered.

When I woke up the next morning Davina was the first thing that came to my mind so I called her. The phone rang for what seemed like forever then it stopped.

“Hello?” She answered

“Hey It’s marcel are you free right now?” 

“Yea I'm free where are we going?”

“Valley chicken and waffles best in town.”

“Bet, i’m getting ready now.”

“See you in a bit.” I say then hung up the phone. I have to admitI was excited, but I have to approach this carefully if I truly want to end the war between witches and werewolves.

At Valley’s Chicken & Waffles

I got to the spot first and waited probably about 15 minutes before she got here. She walked in looking like the queen she is. I raised my hand letting her know where I was.

“Hey.” She said as she was sitting down.

“Hey thanks for coming.”

“It’s nothing just had to sneak out of the coven is all haha. Do we order or?” she asked shyly

“You had to sneak out? And I already ordered they tend to take at least 30minutes to an hour but they have the best Chicken and waffles the best in Moon Valley.”

“I’m really excited I don’t really get out much strict society you know.” she said, taking a sip of water. (maybe to give more context lol)

“I figured since you said you had to sneak out?” I replied

“Yea, I'm usually too busy practicing spells, flexibility,self defense and many other things.”

“The life of the head witches daughter huh.” I laughed 

“Well she’s only Head of the Eternal Rose coven not all witches.” she clarified

“I stand corrected.” I said with a smile

The waiter brought our food over and gave us our drinks. Davina put a couple waffles and chicken wings on her plate. I followed her lead and did the same, we ate in silence. I guess we were both very hungry.

“That was delicious thank you.” Davina said leaning back in her seat

“Glad you liked it.” I smirked

“Sooo what did you wanna talk about?” she asked curiously

“I wanted to talk about you and me.”

“Oh?” she said shyly slightly blushing.

“Yea there's just something about you that makes me wanna get to know you.”

“My parents wouldn’t approve one bit. They are hell bent on me marrying a warlock.” She explained.

“Is that what you want?” I asked her.

“No I actually want something more exciting then a warlock and what’s more exciting than a werewolf. Alpha at that.” she said with her beautiful smile. “My parents can’t know not until I'm ready.” she clarified.

“That's fine with me baby.” I tell her. 

She smiles at me brightly. “Right now no one has to know about her because I want her to myself.” I smiled back at her 

“No I agree since you know I'm trying to gain your mother alliance.” 

“That would definitely ruin it.” she laughed

Mystic Sisters- Ch. 23 Emotions

Haru’s pov

I laid in my bed looking up at the ceiling. Even if I was in trouble I still needed to find Yua. If it wasn't for those vampires I would have found them. I had already lost her once twice technically so I couldn't  lose her again.  But hey, the third time's a charm right? My phone started to ring. I picked it up and answered without looking at the contact.

“Hello?” I answered without bothering to look at the contact name. 

“Haru, it’s me. I found them.” Hisako said. 

“Where?” I shot up imminently running towards the door to put on my shoes.

After she told me the location I hung up in her face and left. I had been trying to find out where they were for days but with those hunters around it was damn near impossible. It was gonna take me a couple hours to get to them. Let's hope I make it in time before they leave again.

Yua’s Pov

I was so tired thanks to Riyoshi’s training. He has zero regard for my well being and it’s sad considering he’s so hot. I looked around and noticed he wasn't in the cabin so I went to look for him. Riyoshi was outside shirtless in all his glory throwing knives at a tree.

“Enjoying yourself?” I asked walking, closer.

He turned around and looked at me. “I wouldn’t say I'm enjoying myself. I'm training.”

“The mighty Riyoshi needs training? Never knew.” I leaned on a nearby tree and smirked, staring at him. Damn has he always been toned?

Riyoshi smirked back at me. “Wanna try and throw one?” he asked.

“Sure why not.” I took the knife and aimed at the tree. Tossing it with all the concentration I had. It didn't even touch the tree. I facepalmed.

“It’s ok try again I'll help you.” handing me another knife I got ready to aim again when I felt Riyoshi’s hand creeping up mine helping me make the toss. This time I hit the tree. “Yesss!” I jumped up happily.

When I turned around and realized how close Riyoshi was to me I stumbled back almost falling on my ass. Riyoshi caught me by the waist and backed me into a nearby tree.

“Um excuse me sir, you're in my personal space.”

“I know.” He replied and stayed in the same spot. Who was I to tell him to move but if he wants to stay he better at least kiss me or we are gonna fight.

As if he had read my mind he leaned down and leaned into him as our lips connected in a passionate kiss. He pulled me closer, deepening the kiss. I don't know how long we were like this but I didn’t want to stop. Kissing him felt different, way different from kissing Haru. With Riyoshi it was slow and passionate while Haru felt more timid.  I heard someone clearing their throat causing us to jump apart. I turned around to see Haru fuming with anger. 

“What the hell are you doing?!” he yelled. His eyes glowed red as he stared at us. 

“You've been after Yua since day one. I should have known the moment you two were alone you would make a move.” He growled at Riyoshi. Riyoshi laughed while walking forward. 

“Well if you knew that then you should have come faster; However, you don’t deserve her.” He scoffed. 

The next thing I knew Haru had leaped forward tackling Riyoshi to the ground “ You son of a bitch!” Haru Yelled out in anger

I slapped my hand over my mouth in shock at the drama I had started. “Where the hell did haru even come from and why couldn't he show up like 20 minutes later why now ughhh” My head was in shambles. I didn't know what to do as I watched Riyoshi literally kick Haru's ass. Haru, looking completely out of control, was throwing punches left and right at Riyoshi who dodged all of them with ease then suddenly sent a mean right hook on Haru knocking him to the ground.

“You think because you're a full vampire you can hurt me? Think again.”

Haru got back up, eyes bloodshot red and he was growling. He didn’t look like his normal self but he’s a full vampire like Riyoshi said. At least he wasn’t lying about what he told us.

“I’m a mixed martial artist. Do you really wanna do this? Riyoshi asked Haru.

“Yes I do. '' Haru responded in a low tone before charging at Riyoshi once again. Who countered by grabbing him and throwing him on his back.

“ahhck .” Haru yelped and tried to get back up for more but Riyoshi stopped him and put him in a choke hold with the tightest grip he could, breaking his neck in the process. Haru fell limp and Riyoshi stood up looking back towards me. Looking at Haru’s limp body my hands slapped over my face in shock.

“Is he dead? I asked. 

“Nah he’s a full fledged vamp remember. He’s just out cold. Only one of my wooden bullets to the heart could kill him or a wooden steak he’ll wake up in like 24 hours at best.”

‘My god why 24 hours! Riyoshi!!”I screamed at him with tears forming in my eyes.

“I mean if you keep screaming at me I might kill him, he's the one who attacked me.”

“I know it’s just….. I feel so bad.”

“For what? Him catching us kissing? He’ll accept it later.” 

I sighed then looked at Haru who’s literally dead for 24 hours.

“Ok, let's go back in the house before Hikari comes and sees this because she looks up to him.”

“Too late.”

Just as he said those two words, Hikari came running up. “Hey guys what was all that noise going on? She asked scanning everything as she walked up to us and her eyes landed right on Haru.

“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. What happened to Haru? Why is he on the ground like that?” Hikari asked, tears forming already.

She went up to him and took a closer look.  What’s wrong with his neck!” Hikari looked at me looking for an explanation. She fell to the ground next to him. With shaky hands she reached out feeling his forehead. “What happened? What did you do!?” she yelled looking back at us with tears running down her face.

“Don’t look at me Riyoshi did it.”

“You make it seem like I killed him.” 

“You did!” I snapped

“He’s only dead for 24 hours!” Riyoshi snapped back

“But you did it!”

“Ok yes I killed him.”

“Why?” Hikari asked, glaring at us both.

“He walked up on me and Yua making out and turned it into a big deal.”

All of Hikari’s attention turned to me. “Soo it’s your fault then.”

“Yout two timer! Weren't you just mad like 2 weeks ago about him leaving! Now you're cheating?!”

“Hey this is not my fault Riyoshi kissed me!”

“You kissed him back, you heathen!”

“Excuse you! If you kissed someone as good a kisser as Riyoshi you would have kissed him back too!” I heard Riyoshi snicker in the background but I ignored it.

Turning my attention back to Hikari I found myself immediately ducking as a giant ass iceball flew right at me. I looked at her in shock. “What the fuck was that!”

“  don’t know what youre talking about.” Hikari said, still crying even more than earlier as she started to drag Haru's body towards the house with the help of Hisako.

“She is unbelievable. I can't believe her.”

I looked back at Riyoshi and I saw him and Akio basically dapping each other up. I immediately started steaming. They were enjoying this drama that Riyoshi started by hurting Haru in the first place. I just glared at them both and followed Hikari to the house. 

Akio’s pov

Everyone sat in the living room except for Hikari. She had been in her room for over an hour. I glanced at Haru who was laying on his back on the couch. I sighed getting up to check on her. I knocked before opening the door. She sat on the floor facing the window. She brought her knees to her chest and turned away as I sat down next to her. 

“I'm okay. Don't worry about me.” she sniffled quickly,wiping her tears. 

“You're obviously not.” I wanted to comfort her but I didn't know how. I hesitantly reached out to hold her hand, interlocking our fingers together. She turned around looking at our hands and then up at me. Why are you making this so awkward? Maybe she doesn’t like this. I pulled my hand away and she grabbed it, locking our fingers again. She smiled at me. Even with her eyes red and puffy I still thought she was adorable. Why am I so attracted to you? I ran my thumb over her knuckles and she sighed relaxing into my touch. 

“Look, I know Riyoshi can be a bit much but he means well I promise. In a weird way he’s looking out for Yua. He usually has the right idea but goes about it wrong ” I reassured her.

“I know.” she laughed. “I'm more mad at Yua. She’s always doing something. I don’t care that she likes Riyoshi but why couldn't she have broken up with Haru first? And now he’s hurt because of her.”

“You're really close to him aren't you?” she nodded.

‘We were always really close. Yua actually met him because of me.”

“Really?” She smiled. She looked like she was back to her bubbly self as she talked about Haru.

 “We like the same things so it was easy for us to connect. I met him at the school library. We happened to sit at the same table. He saw that I was reading manga and we started talking. We ended up having a lot in common so we started hanging out more….” I started to zone about the more she talked about me. I felt the anger in me starting to rise. 

 “The two of us hung out a lot, Well that was until Yua stole him away from me.” she laughed. My face dropped. Stole? Did Hikari have feelings for Haru at one point? Is this why she’s so upset? I let go of her hand and got up to leave. She reached out to me and I pushed her hand away. 

“Akio? Where are you going?” She looked up at me confused. 

“I need some air. You're obviously feeling better.” I snapped, letting the anger and jealousy take over.

“Are you mad at me?” I turned back to look at Hikari who was now standing up.

“Go eat something you haven't eaten yet.” I tried to stay calm. Listening to Hikari talk about Haru made my blood boil. He already has Yua. Why does he need Hikari too?

Hisako’s Pov

Hikari and Yua had been gone for almost 3 weeks. Haru has been missing too. He hasn’t been answering my calls or texts. I needed to find them. Hikari’s note bothered me. I knew she was trying to tell me something but what? Was the stalker she had talked about back? So many what if’s ran through my mind as I walked up Hano’s driveway. The curtains had be drawn back. The house looked empty but I could see Mrs. Hano walking out of her office. I happily waved at her but she looked back at me terrified. She quickly walked out of sight and the front door swung open revealing a bitter Mr.Hano. What’s with them?

“Hi Mr. Hano. Are the-”

“Don’t speak.” he hissed in a voice full of anger. I’ve never seen someone with so much anger.

“They’re not here so go home.” he went to shut the door but I stopped it with my foot.

“You seem like you don’t care that your daughters are missing.“
