Okay been re-reading Your Summer Dream by @swiftispunk and istg couldn’t stop dreaming of what readers closet would look like.

She takes suuuuch an evolution in the story. Joel really, imo, pushes her out of her shell and her confidence grows so much and I really think her closet would reflect that. When we first meet her she’s in biker shorts and an oversized tee but I think over time she would take to very form fitting, loud, colorful things and tbh I know she would love a graphic tee that makes her giggle.

There’s one section towards the end where she panics that what she wears to dinner won’t stack up to Joel and she can’t match his beauty. I think Joel does a lot to push her confidence away from that as they fall in love. He’s in awe of her! He wants her to stand out in a crowd! The more love she feels, the more comfortable she feels, the more she feels she can experiment with color and texture ! She’s not afraid to stand out anymore!

We know she’s into sheer cover ups at the beach, I think she starts to incorporate sheer in her real non beach life, too. Couple that with the fact that she loves to rile Mr. public sex kink having Joel up, she would really find herself leaning towards easy access clothes. For the days he can’t stop himself and bends her over in basically broad daylight in front of god and everyone lmao.

Oh also I’m sorry but Fleetwood Mac ??? The way baby girl would have a very intense and sudden 70’s fashion obsession is almost scary. The jumpsuits! The bell bottoms! The fur coats! Oh it’s that’s serious.

Okay final thing there’s one passage where…maybe this is just my kinky ass…but it seems to be implied that they’re getting turned on by Joel dressing her??? Oh I have many thoughts but if I speak…let me save that for another post actually

obey me! the boys are enjoying the summer festival!! It's another one of my favourite costume design that I really wanted to draw!!

(the sticker was the side project, but wanting to draw the yukata design has always been something i super wanted to do FDSFDS) makes me wonder if Nightbringer would ever bring the old designs back... or at least update the OG game- many food for thought!

ended up re-reading my unfinished WIP of my original-era scooby doo AU fic last night... maybe... MAYBE... i should at least properly plan out the outline...

(this is a cover from a playlist my friend @budcortfancam made! the songs are all era-appropriate, the idea is that they'd be tracks the gang would actually listen to. while 8tracks that the playlist was hosted on isn't working the way it used to, the post i've linked does contain a tracklist if you're curious)

figured i'd do this again..bit early i guess..

#to cheer me up.. i feel bad atm.. these things don't even make me feel very good tho bc i'm such a narrative/sketch-based artist..#but Proper Beautiful Finished Pieces are what grab attention and look good at the end of the year all neatly lined up lol.....#so looking at a “yearly review” where i can only choose 'the best image of the month' (??) is like...What have i even been doing...#i did a month by month look back on twt for myself instead..but even that doesn't express the quantity of comic-based stuff..#that i do put a lot of time/heart into..but alas i feel bad bringing even them back..RTing/reblogging my own art simply feels bad lol..#AND WHY IS IT ALL B&W...trying to accept that i LIKE doing that and sketching and scribbling..not like i'm trying to like..Get Artist Job..#this year was so profoundly lonely at times bc i spent all my time drawing instead of socialising and trying to find friends....#please please please have achieved more of your dreams in the future so you can look back at 2023 and think..#It was good that happened so that it got me further to the future.
