you're at the Summers family dinner table. discussions of upcoming pride month are happening. Alex interrupts the conversation to say he thinks there should be straight pride. the whole table goes silent. Scott slowly puts his face in his hands out of sheer embarrassment and disappointment. Jean stares down at her plate and stirs her food, pretending not to notice but also not contradicting him. Cable cringes. Hope belatedly asks "what's pride month?" knowing very well this is the worst time to ask that question. Rachel takes a sip of her drink very calmly, puts it back down on the table neatly, and proceeds to telekinetically blast Alex out of the house. Vulcan isn't there because why the fuck would he be there.
