A yearly must buy mooncake from East Ocean Teochew Restaurant (东海潮州酒家) is this Mini Crispy Yam Mooncakes (迷你酥皮芋泥月饼) or the bigger cousin Crispy Yam with Whole Egg Yolk (酥皮单黄芋泥). As is everywhere, the price for it had gone up to S$70 for a box of 8s but the restaurant is offering a 30% discount for early bird buyers so we ended up paying S$49.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
To get that spiral flaky pastry shell, two types of dough (water/oil) are need when making the Crispy Yam Mooncake. The yam or taro paste is smooth and velvety, sweetened with just a little sugar. As the filling contains moisture, I suggest toasting it to crisp up the pastry and to consume it with three days. It pairs well with a cup of Chinese tea or as I have it here, less sweet milk tea. In case some of you are interested in making it, I attached a how-to-make video (not mine).

12 famous African goddesses and gods with mind-blowing history - Briefly.co.za
Tumblr media
Most African cultures believe that God used to live amongst them in the past before He left for His Kingdom in Heaven after several human transgressions. In His place, He appointed lesser African gods and goddesses to perform certain functions. As such, Africans have the god of water, rains, winds, earth, and fire, among others, whom they can pray to directly, and they will intercede on God's behalf.

12 African mythology gods and goddesses
Ever looked at African gods and goddesses pictures? These beings are considered powerful in different areas and in most cases. Their images reflect what they are associated with. Below we shall examine some of the famous African goddesses and gods with pictures and their meanings in their respective communities.
1. Oshun
Tumblr media
Who is Oshun African goddess? Oshun became a popular African goddess after Beyoncé hinted about her in her Lemonade music video. Oshun has her origin in Yoruba, and she is the god of sweet and freshwaters. She always has a mirror to admire her beauty.

2. Oya
Tumblr media
We cannot list African goddess names without including Oya. She is a ferocious and protective deity worshipped by the Yoruba tribe in Nigeria, as well as some Brazilians. Oya is wife to Shango, the god of storms. Oya is the goddess of wind, thunderbolt, and fire; she has the power to transform gentle breezes to raging hurricanes or cyclones. It is believed that she accompanies her husband during his thunderstorms to destroy buildings, blow things up, and rip off trees.
Due to her prowess, Oya brings down dead wood to give room for new. Additionally, she is the guardian of the gates of death, as she helps the dead in their transition from life.
3. Ala
Tumblr media
Ala is one of the oldest Igbo goddesses. Her name 'Ala' means earth in English, demonstrating her power over the planet. Ala is the goddess of fertility, creativity, land, and morality. She is the wife of Amadioha, the god of the sky. This goddess is honored and celebrated during the yearly yam festival.
When angered, Ala will convince her husband to deny rain to the people and can also cause other natural disasters.
4. Yemaya
Tumblr media
Yemaya is considered the mother of all since she is the goddess of the Living Ocean. All life is believed to have started in the sea. Yemaya is motherly and protective of all her kids, comforting them and cleansing away all their sorrows. It is thought she can cure infertility in women, and the cowrie shells symbolize her wealth.
Yemaya is not easily angered, but when she does, she is destructive and intense just as the sea during a storm.
5. Modjaji
Modjaji is a South African goddess of rain whose spirits live in the body of a young woman. She is considered a key figure by the Balodedu people, as she can start and stop the rain. Inkosazan, which means 'lady heaven,' is a prominent and adored goddess of the Zulu community in South Africa. She is thought to be responsible for corn, one of the vital dietary supplements in the Zulu tribe.
10. Age-Fon
Other than the African goddesses, there are gods that cannot go unmentioned in this piece. Age–Fon is a god in Benin, whose power and fame goes as far back to the Dahomey Empire. He is the son of the creator goddess Mawu-Lisa. Age can protect and lead hunters in their hunting expeditions, whether at night or during the day. Besides, he also guides and safeguards his tribesmen in times of battles and wars. It is alleged that Age replenishes his energy and power from his mother. His image is that of a young lad wearing hunter's clothing. To honor Age-Fon, hunters sacrifice to him fleshy parts of the animals they hunt.
11. Kibuka
Kibuka is the god of war in the Buganda Empire kingdom. It is believed that Kibuka has been with Buganda's since the 9th century, even before the arrival of the Europeans in the country.
After The Bugandan military encountered many defeats, its king met with the Creator, Mukasa, to seek help to defeat his enemies. It is here that Mukasa gave them his younger brother Kibuka to be their god of war. Before embarking on any battle, the army would sing, dance, and offer sacrifices to Kibuka. Kibuka would then go ahead of the warriors to clear their paths and ensure their victory.
12. Adroa
Adroa is a fascinating African god of death for the Lugbara community in Uganda and Congo. He has two characteristics of good and evil. Due to his duality, Adroa's body is divided into two. One of the parts is short and black, symbolizing evil, while the other is tall and white, signifying goodness. Adroa will manifest himself to people in any form that fits the situation at hand. It is also believed that this god appears to individuals before they die.

Happy Halloween/X-mas!
Tumblr media
I got a Halloween prompt in for my Secret Santa so I jumped at the chance <3 I hope they like it [they don't have a tumblr but posting it here also @op-secret-santa
Sabo and Ace throw an awesome Halloween party for the people they care the most about. PLATONIC Word Count: 965
“Think this is the year we tell Luffy he’s getting way too old for Trick or Treating?” Ace asked as he climbed up on the chair, hands full of fake cobwebs and a roll of sticky tape, the intention of sticking the webs across the ceiling of their apartment.
“I mean, he seems happy enough to keep going and he’s not dragged us out in a minute so, I don’t think it’ll be the end of the world if he puts on a cape and goes screaming through the streets for candy, right? Keeps him out of trouble and eating everything we put out for the party.” Sabo replied and picked up the scattered magazines from the table.
“I guess your right,”
Ace shrugged his shoulders as he focused on his task, pulling the tape taut and using his teeth to cut it, a wad of cobwebs in the other hand, sticking it across the ceiling. Sabo watched for a moment making sure his brother didn’t fall off the chair, again.
“How many people are we expecting this year?” Sabo asked as he retrieved his phone from his pocket, looking at all the notifications, seeing messages from those he’d invited to their yearly Halloween party.
“Oh shit, now your asking.” He sighed and finished sticking the last string of white nylon covered in tiny fake black spiders in place. “Marco, Thatch, Izou… Kiku… Yam’s… I think all of Luffy’s friends are coming over when he finishes up…” Ace paused, thinking of the guest invites in his head as Sabo flopped on the couch.
“Koala is my only confirmed guest..” Sabo sighed and tapped his foot on the plush carpet, looking over in time to see Ace almost fall off the chair as he climbed down. “Eh, she’s the only fun one anyway so it doesn’t matter right?” Ace offered with a grin.
“That’s true, the rest are busy working, and no one seems as into Halloween as me.”
“Man, no one is as into Halloween as me you, and Luffy though, most people are normal about it.” Ace grinned, his freckled cheeks rounding as he could tell he was making his brother’s mood change, the frown melting away into a matching grin.
“Yeah, that’s a good point.”
Ace and Sabo spent the rest f the afternoon rushing around, decorating, and carving pumpkins to set around the apartment. It was a lot of effort and work but was something they both loved, it helped them feel closer as brothers, something they could always agree on.
Sabo was in the kitchen looking at how many beers they’d stuffed in the fridge along the shelves that didn’t have food. People always thought the brothers brought in help when it came to hosting their Halloween parties but no one really knew how put together and handy around the kitchen Ace was.
Both had headed into their respective rooms, rushing to get dressed for the party. Ace wore his cheesy werewolf costume, fake ears, paws, ripped jeans, and his chest on display. Sabo had gone for something fancier, and something that covered more of himself. A grim reaper in a vintage-looking cloak, gloves on his hands, and some dark makeup.
The doorbell rang and alerted them of their first guest, they made bets on who it was as Ace walked down the hall, opened the door, and saw his three best friends standing there. Thatch dressed as a pirate, Marco as a bat, and Izou as the bride of Frankenstein. Ace grinned and stepped back, letting them all in.
Koala didn’t take long to arrive with the other girls, Nami and Robin, Kiku. All dressed in matching outfits, looking beautiful. Ace was about to compliment Kiku when he felt an aura emitting from Izou in the corner and simply welcomed her to his home.
The rest of their guests came in one big group,  Luffy letting himself in with everyone piled behind him. Usopp, Brook, Franky, Sanji, Zoro and Yamato. The party suddenly got very, very loud, and even more life was injected into the get-together.
Everyone dressed up, milling around their apartment, catching up with friends, having drinks, and eating snacks before Ace, Sabo, and Luffy got to them all first. Marco sat with Ace on the sofa as people chatted and swayed to the cheesy music.
“You did great everyone's having a good time,” Marco said sipping his beer and watching Ace stretch out his legs, the beaming look of pride on his face. “Yeah, we didn’t do too bad huh?” Ace sighed, happy as Sabo suggested spooky-themed games to which there was a collective cheer.
The night grew longer as games were played. Sabo was in charge of the first few games before Ace picked himself off the sofa to join in. At some point the music was turned from songs to spooky sound effects, someone had dimmed the lights, and Ace and Sabo had helped usher everyone into a circle around the room.
“Ghost story time!” Thatch proclaimed as Ace got comfy on the floor, Sabo sat next to him cross-legged as Luffy draped himself across his brothers with a loud giggle.
Everyone took it in turns to tell spooky stories, Thatch always the king of them, making everyone (well, not Robin) sit on the edge of their seats, biting their nails and gripping the cushions as he told his.
Ace leaned in, intently listening before Thatch shouted, a jumpscare, he jumped and elbowed Sabo who was laughing at him, Luffy in fits of giggles and was rolled off of their laps until he was in the center of the room. Everyone now laughing at their friend's outburst.
The party was so full of life and joy as friends and found family all enjoyed the night.

so this pumpkin
Tumblr media
was grown last year
it's been sitting in the garage for lack of any better place (i wish i had a root cellar but the ground here doesn't get nearly cold enough for that)
i came very close to turning it into pie in the late spring, but figured A would be coming home for a bit and she planted it so i'd leave it for her she'd said that was good but she came and went without touching the poor squash
so here three months later i look at the thing and i'm like, how can this still be good?
Tumblr media
ok, wow. not one sign of spoilage, smells great.
Tumblr media
a couple funny looking seeds - they'd tried to sprout but the pumpkin was too strong.
so i chopped it all up
and a few yams and carrots for more flavor
Tumblr media Tumblr media
basted with butter and roasted, gets rid of a bunch of water so the pie will be totally custard, some pies have a strange juiciness to them, once you have roasted pumpkin pie you're doomed
i ran out of time today as i've been unfortunately working pretty close to my official 40/wk lately (my yearly average is considerably less which is how i get anything done around here but occasionally i have to perform)
Tumblr media
so bagged and into the freezer, each bag will with added spices, egg sugar and cream.... maybe a crust lol make a pie
maybe i'll make one next week...

Houou rushes Pete into a greenhouse! He will be safe there. Now he must rest. Everything is ready for Porosgiving. There are enough vegetables, potatoes, yams, and pumpkins. Good job, Pete! Time to rest for a bit.
Tumblr media
Pete is rushed! Is good place for Pete to be, really. But she should not worry too much! Is yearly thing! Is time of year when it gets cold and Pete's body wants to hibernate with the rest of the patch. But Pete does not wish to do that! Wants to be awake! so he gets wilted slightly. Shall recover!

The Lovers by Timothy Liu

Spring by Edna St. Vincent Millay
To what purpose, April, do you return again? Beauty is not enough. You can no longer quiet me with the redness Of little leaves opening stickily. I know what I know. The sun is hot on my neck as I observe The spikes of the crocus. The smell of the earth is good. It is apparent that there is no death. But what does that signify? Not only under ground are the brains of men Eaten by maggots. Life in itself Is nothing, An empty cup, a flight of uncarpeted stairs. It is not enough that yearly, down this hill, April Comes like an idiot, babbling and strewing flowers.

Summer by Chen Chen
You are the ice cream sandwich connoisseur of your generation.
Blessed are your floral shorteralls, your deeply pink fanny pack with travel-size lint roller just in case.
Level of splendiferous in your outfit: 200.
Types of invisible pain stemming from adolescent disasters in classrooms, locker rooms, & quite often Toyota Camrys: at least 10,000.
You are not a jigglypuff, not yet a wigglytuff.
Reporters & fathers call your generation “the worst.”
Which really means “queer kids who could go online & learn that queer doesn’t have to mean disaster.”
Or dead.
Instead, queer means, splendiferously, you.
& you means someone who knows that common flavors for ice cream sandwiches in Singapore include red bean, yam, & honeydew.
Your powers are great, are growing.
One day you will create an online personality quiz that also freshens the breath.
The next day you will tell your father, You were wrong to say that I had to change.
To make me promise I would. To make me promise.
& promise.

Fall by Mary Oliver
the black oaks fling their bronze fruit into all the pockets of the earth         pock pock
they knock against the thresholds the roof the sidewalk fill the eaves         the bottom line
of the old gold song of the almost finished year what is spring all that tender         green stuff
compared to this falling of tiny oak trees out of the oak trees         then the clouds
gathering thick along the west then advancing then closing over         breaking open
the silence then the rain dashing its silver seeds         against the house

Winter by Sudeep Sen
Couched on crimson cushions, pink bleeds gold
and red spills into one’s heart. Broad leather keeps time,
calibrating different hours in different zones
unaware of the grammar that makes sense.
Only random woofs and snores of two distant dogs
on a very cold night clears fog that is unresolved.
New plants wait for new heat — to grow, to mature.
An old cane recliner contains poetry for peace — woven
text keeping comfort in place. But it is the impatience of want
that keeps equations unsolved. Heavy, translucent, vaporous,
split red by mother tongues — winter’s breath is pink.

Kappa Quartet Review
Tumblr media
Rating: 3.9/5 ⭐️
This review is going to be really short but this book is my underground-indie-I'm way better than you-nobody else knows about this-I think I like this little life-my little secret book. I bought this one in 2020 the day after Covid reached Singapore and my mum told me something about needing to read more advanced books so I can do better at english and I was in year 9(?) at the time this was going on... so this book was definitely way too advanced for me back then TT
In all seriousness though I do understand this book better now and I like to do a yearly read with this because of how good of a book this is.
I've given this book a .9 instead of just a 3 or a 4 because of the fact that it's quite forgettable for me 💀 which is why I have to reread it every year and can't provide a synopsis in my own words and spoiler warning this time. It's still a great book but if you're not giving it 110% of your concentration it's going to be a bit of a difficult read in my opinion. But, this is coming from someone who has a low attention span and only binges things if I'm seriously hooked (which is a really hard thing to do sometimes).
In general, I really enjoyed how this book is basically a collection of short stories of sorts, each chapter involving a character that is linked to another character to the next or previous chapter, and they all play a role in each others' lives. And it's really interesting to see the different perspectives on life between both kappas (Japanese mythical creature) and humans. Plus the tea is really hot and crazy in this book at times.
Tumblr media
Settings are really vividly described and so clear in this novel which is really great. I prefer it when I'm given more specific descriptors on where characters are and what they're doing, because I'm not what they call a free thinker when it comes to these kinds of novels that involve sort of everyday, "common" settings (if we ignore the fact that Kappas are a part of the story for just one second).
Tumblr media
What is also really cool was the combination of Singaporean and Japanese culture throughout the novel. Daryl Qilin Yam absolutely cooked tf up with this one because the way that he integrates both cultures between the short stories set in Japan and Singapore respectively, and with the characters of respective ethnicities was really unique in my opinion.
To wrap it up, I'm going to have to reread this one once when it's rainy weather so I can refresh myself and hopefully edit and update this review, but if you like whimsical stories that are quirky and get your brain working a little then you should for sure pick up this book.
Thanks for reading <3

Little drabbles of Luna stealing people’s stuff :)
The roller band boys (+Matteo)
Everyone was already having breakfast, and then Luna comes down, wearing a flannel and dark wash jeans that are way too big for her, a bow tie in her hair and some chains around her wrist
“That’s my flannel!” Protested Simón while pouring Ámbar some orange juice
“And my jeans!” Continued Pedro, in the middle of spreading butter on a piece of toast
“And my chains!” Completed Nico, holding his cup of coffee halfway to his mouth
“And my tie!” Finished Matteo, between bites of a media-luna
“Wow, prima, you really managed to get them all, I for sure thought you’d spare Matteo, at least” Ámbar commented, a smirk on her face as she sipped her cup of juice
“You were in on this?!” They all said at the same time, whipping their heads around to look at the blonde
“I was the one to suggest it in the first place, I told her she wouldn’t be able to take them without you noticing, and she said that you guys would notice, but only if you saw her wearing the stolen items, now she gets to pick the place for our next weekly cousin bonding session” she turns to Luna “You better not pick ice skating, just because you adapt easy to any modality of skating, doesn’t mean the rest of us do” the guys are left very confused as the Benson girls start bickering about ice skating and whatnot
Nina
“Have any of you seen my glasses?” The bespectacled girl asked, after having misplaced her glasses during one of their yearly sleep overs for the old team
They all answered some variations of no, until Luna came back from the bathroom, almost falling down several times, but being saved by a different person each time, they all used to how distracted she got while walking, and made her way to Nina, exclaiming “wow, your eyesight must be reallyyyy bad”
“You have them??? Give them back! I can’t see anything!” she chastised, trying to predict her best friend’s location based on the vague blobs she could barely distinguish, until she recognized the several bracelets the girl wore against her hand, and felt up her arm until she found her face and grabbed the glasses, putting them back on herself, sighing in relief “much better”
Ámbar
“Hey, has one of you seen my files for the suppliers? I have a meeting in two hours and I can’t find them anywhere” the blonde girl asked
“I’m sorry, darling, but I have just been around the dinning and living rooms and I don’t think it’s down here” Monica responds
“I just got back from running errands with the car and it’s not there either” Miguel completes
“Good morning my beloved family!” Luna greets, not looking up from the folder she’s reading as she walks
Ámbar turns to her and chuckles “of course… Lunita, I need those for work”
“Why though? That’s all gibberish and numbers”
“It’s food service jargon, you wouldn’t get it, Mrs Olympic grade skater” she ruffles the younger girl’s hair, swiping the folder from her hands and walking out, after grabbing a slice of toast for the road, of course
Ramiro
“Luli, have you seen my skates anywhere? I need to clean my wheels and change my laces” the curly haired boy questioned, looking around their shared hotel room
“No, I have not” the girl answers, hiding said skates behind her back, with the wheels clean and laces changed
Are you sure because last I checked” he turns to her “they were here…” he trails off, zeroing his gaze on her arms, that disappear behind her around the wrist “Luna, you are a terrible liar and as subtle as a blind elephant, give them back” he orders
She hands the skates back to him, and seeing her surprise, he smiles, dropping them on the ground and hugging her “Valente, you really are the greatest skating partner a guy could ask for”
Jim & Yam
Previously:
“I am not going to beg for forgiveness! How was I supposed to know the fact that she used to think she likes guys was a forbidden topic??” Yam yelled over the phone while Luna was on the other line, before hanging up
“I told you she wouldn’t listen! She never even for one moment thought about my feelings on the subject, noooooo, all it matters is telling an annecdote to get that stupid interviewer laughing” Jim rambles, being pat on the shoulder by her friend
Back to the present:
“Where is my guitar?” Yam’s voice echoes around the room, together with the familiar bell of Luna’s phone notifying a text message, that read “Luna, what did you do with my favorite tap shoes??” from Jim, she replied to both with “you’ll find them at the love lock bridge”
At said bridge:
“Jim…”
“Yam…” the girls said at the same time, huffing out a dry laugh at their synchronized speaking “You go first” Jim continued
“Luna sent me here for my guitar”
“She sent me here for my tap shoes” right then, both their phones went off, they’d gotten a text that said “talk it out, you fools” from their shorter friend, and that is what they did, they talked for hours, before leaving the bridge, their hands intertwined between them

Again, gunmen set Imo monarch’s palace, vehicles ablaze, attack villagers
Tumblr media
Again, gunmen, at the weekend, invaded another Imo monarch’s palace, setting ablaze his palace and vehicles parked in the compound, while injuring some of his subjects. The monarch, Kanu Ekenoku, of Ndia Ichie Aroundizuogu, Ideato North Council of Imo State, is said to be in pain since the invasion, which occurred at about 9:00 p.m. Residents of the area have remained in fear after the incident, as some of them were also attacked, carting away their valuables in the process. Already, some of the residents of the community have deserted their homes as a result. According to sources, the hoodlums gained entrance into the compound after scaling the fence, detonating Improvised Explosive Devices (IED), which engulfed the palace. Recall that for about two years, several monarchs in the state have been abducted, killed or had their palaces burnt to ashes. The motive behind the attacks on palaces of traditional rulers is yet unknown. Last week, no fewer than three persons from the Orlu zone had their homes torched by arsonists. They included a monarch, a traditional ruler-elect and an ex-House of Representatives member, who represented Orlu/ Orsu/ Oru East Federal Constituency, Jerry Alagboso. The former lawmaker suffered the attack after his defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) about two weeks ago. The state police spokesperson, Henry Okoye, confirmed the incident, saying security operatives were investigating the incident, while assuring that the culprits would be apprehended and prosecuted. Meanwhile, Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, at the weekend, urged the people of Mbaise, under the auspices of Ezuruezu Mbaise, comprising three councils (Ahiazu, Ezinihitte and Aboh Mbaise), to maintain peace as they celebrate their age-long yearly iriji (new yam festival). This came on the heels of claims of supremacy over the event by a factional group, Olu Oha Mbaise. Receiving the Central Planning Committee (CPC) members of the festival, led by Prof. Uzodimma Nwala, and the Publicity/Media sub-committee, chaired by Amby Uneze, other representatives of the Ezuruezu Mbaise, monarchs from Mbaise, Ndi Ezeji Mbaise and sole administrators of Aboh, Ahiazu and Ezinihitte Mbaise councils, the governor reminded them that Mbaise people are important set of Nigerians who should not allow acrimony to becloud their important cultural event, urging the faction (Olu Oha) to collapse its structure into Ezeruezu Mbaise, while taking directives from the central planning committee. Uzodimma also promised to attend the event, assuring them of a hitch -free event. Speaking earlier, Nwala said the committee and some prominent sons and daughters of the area had come to inform the governor about the event, while inviting him to celebrate with them. He hinted that they had made some progress in organising a successful event. Read the full article

Different types of farming techniques in India
Tumblr media
In this continuation, we’ll discuss the basics of three distinct agricultural methods. Agriculture is crucial to the economy of every nation. Farming includes the production of food and ornamental plants. A  tractor sprayer attached to a tractor’s back is called a tractor-mounted sprayer. Farming is the one economic foundation upon which every nation rests. The success or failure of a farm is affected by its location, the market for its products, the availability of skilled workers, and the sophistication of its machinery. If you’re looking to save time, energy, and resources, an orchard sprayer is a way to go.
There are three main types of farming:
The following are examples of the three main types of farming and agriculture:
Subsistence farming
Family farming is another name for subsistence farming since it provides for a farmer’s immediate family: only basic machinery and manual labour from around the house where needed. Low yields are typical of this type of farming. They do not use modern farming techniques or high-yielding varieties of seeds and fertilizer.
They lack access to essential services like electricity and water irrigation. Farming for subsistence is typically done by hand.
Subsistence farming can be classified into two types:-
Intensive subsistence farming:-
It entails a relatively modest amount of land, some essential, low-cost tools, and additional labour for crop production. Because “intense” connotes strenuous effort, the implication is that more significant effort is needed. Multiple crops can be grown yearly on the same plot of land because of the favourable climate and rich soils typical of this type of farming.
Rice is the primary crop here. Wheat, maize, pulses, and oilseeds are some additional crops. The more populated monsoon areas are where this type of farming is most prevalent. Southeast Asia and East Asia fall within this category.
Primitive subsistence farming:-
Nomadic farming and herding are also part of this lifestyle.
Shifting cultivation:-
This farming grew in heavily wooded regions like the Amazon basin, tropical Africa, Southeast Asia, and northeast India. This is where the rain is heaviest. Rapid plant growth is regenerated.
At the outset of the shifting cultivation process, the area is cleared by cutting down and burning trees. The resulting tree ash is then incorporated into the ground.
Crops, including maize, yam, potatoes, and cassava, are cultivated using this method. This soil is suitable for growing crops every two or three years. Then the abandoned land as soil fertility declines. The farmers relocate to the new area and begin cultivating it similarly. Slash-and-burn farming describes this method of agriculture.
Nomadic Herding:
The semiarid and arid regions are ideal for this method of farming. Like the central Asian republics, India’s Rajasthan and Jammu & Kashmir are home to beautiful landscapes. The farmers in this system herd their animals along predetermined paths as they go from one location to another in search of food and water.
Sheep, camels, yaks, and goats are commonly raised for their meat and fibre in this region. Farming provides milk, meat, and other foods for the herdsmen and their families.
Commercial Farming
Crops are grown on this farm to be sold in local markets. This farming is done mainly for commercial reasons.
It needed a lot of space and advanced machinery.
High-priced equipment is used to complete the task.
Commercial farming is 3 types.
Commercial grain farming:-
Grains are the primary reason for this cultivation.
Seasonally, this type of farming occurs during the winter.
In this type of farming, only one crop can be cultivated at a time.
Many wealthy farmers are living in this region.
Commercial mixed farming:-
This type of farming is done for growing foods, fodders crops.
In this farming, one or more crops are grown together.
It has good rainfall and irrigation.
The crops are cared for carefully.
The crops are done almost at the same duration.
This farming is most used in Europe, the eastern USA, Argentina, southeast Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.
Home Farming:-
Growing food at home may be done on a terrace or in a garden.
You only needed a little area and essential garden tools like a rake and pruners.
You only needed a little room and some compact equipment like a garden rake and pruning shears.
It’s not just food; this farming is utilized as a decorative item in people’s homes.
It was done for both profit and survival purposes.
There are two types of farming:-
How many different kinds of farming do people in India practise? If this isn’t the case, then we’re likely to be categorised with the lower forms of farming in India. Check out this site for specifics on various farms. An agricultural sprayer machine is a vital tool for farmers.
Container farming:-
These farming methods are ideal for those with only a tiny plot of land to cultivate, such as in a city apartment’s balcony, courtyard, or yard. This farming method can grow almost any fruit, vegetable, or flower.
Vertical Farming:-
A “window garden” is how it’s being referred to here. Small plant crops and vine crops see the most vertical farming utilization. Ghee, Loki, tomato, chile, and coriander are all components. Since traditional methods of growing vine crops tend to provide lower yields, vertical farming is ideal for these plants. Air-assisted sprayer, and choose from a wide variety of sprayers available on the market.

Bubble tea, peppermint and Irish breakfast! ☕
yahaha thank u tuesday :D
tea ask
bubble tea i answered here!
peppermint:what’s your favourite holiday and why?
XD I think I'm predictable but I like Halloween the most !! And it's mostly about the vibes...also good excuse to watch a lot of horror films or autumn related things. I used to do a yearly watch of the mini series Over the Garden Wall in the past and that was always fun :D
irish breakfast: what country do you want to visit?
I would love to go back to Japan to see more of the countryside! Or more outside of Tokyo, really. The farthest I've gone out of Tokyo was a place called Kamakura to see a giant Buddha statue, and I really loved the vibes of that area (there was some really neat ice cream flavors there like yam ice cream... still my fave weird ice cream flavor I've had).
Another place I would love to go is either Poland or Austria too ! Austria is more for historical reasons and Poland's...also for historical reasons but it's more tied to silly video game reasons aha
OH And I've always dreamt of going to Brazil !! Why I want to go there?? I'm honestly not sure myself but I've always had that dream since I was a kid lol
