#yeah I’m thinking I totally predicted the first episode of s5

Totally agree with everything u said. Early mlv break up makes sense. A big fight a la Stancy, then let's focus on other things, please. After THAT ending, imagine Mike n El are still together "One year later" Seriously. I can't even imagine them kissing or holding hands atp. They would both feel miserable. We don't need Ted n Karen 2.0 in the last season. I think even Ted n Karen will be different in S5! Come on
Yeah exactly.
A big part of it for me honestly is not being able to picture El playing the part of presumed gf with Mike for much longer. Her arc is more than that and not addressing her side of things sooner than later would make the little time we have with her full-on independence arc, feel unfair. I don’t think they want the audience to be halfway through s5, just now acknowledging El’s side of things. Let it be abundantly clear where she stands and let her actually focus on Max instead of letting fans think she’s holding out on Mike getting his shit together until there’s barely any running time left.
Even despite things being referred to as fast paced for the first couple hours of s5, there are just so many things they left unaddressed at the end of s4. And I don’t think they did that with the intention to hold out addressing those things for another 5 episodes.
I even remember them mentioning Will’s arc being comparable to the Steve and jancy love triangle, which was not resolved at the end of s4 and how that will obviously need to be dealt with.
They left things super ambiguous at the end of s4 for a reason. And if anything them saying s5 starts off fast paced, means that those things they didn’t address are literally set up to finally be unraveled early on bc it’s what we’re prepared for.
I think if they waited too long to address either of those things, it would fall flat.
By the time mid-s5 comes around, we’re going to have even more problems and things to be dealt with. And being stuck still addressing a bunch of stuff from s4 would take away from all the new stuff they’re adding to the mix.
It all really comes down to the pairings and groupings for s5.
I do think it’s likely Mike and Will are going to be alone for a couple episodes. And it makes sense to have that midway through when him and El are already broken up so people can actually see them around each other without this cloud of uncertainty in regards to Mike and El still being together.
I am intrigued to see how s5 starts off.
I think the groupings are likely to be bigger early on, with them branching off by 5x02-5x03 until like mid-season or maybe longer. That tends to be the formula they follow every season so it’s most likely that it’ll go down like that.
And I think especially considering Mike and El probably won’t be together alone for episode upon episode, whereas Mike and Will probably will, it makes more sense to have that addressed on the Mike and El front, even if maybe Will is not fully aware of it?
The time jump complicates things in terms of being able to predict a lot of things yet to come. But if there’s one thing I’m confident about it’s that El will hopefully get to finally speak on how she truly feels about how things ended in s4, and before a time jump, as opposed to holding off on that for too long when they’ll have a bunch of other stuff to address well into s5.
And again, they want us to let go of Mike and El and to root for Mike and Will, as it’s happening. So making it ambiguous until the moment Mike and Will are kissing would make that unsatisfying for not only the people unprepared for it, but even those that are.

S2 is the best season period. Like it had everything, The Spy was like thee episode for me where I completely fell in love with the show (started right before s3 came out). We got, small town vibes, Halloween, the party's cute Halloween costumes, introduction of Max, Steve's character development (plus Dustin and Steve friendship) and more. Like everyone shits on it because of the Lost Sister episode, and yeah it was awkwardly placed but still. I loves the s1/s2 vibes of the show, since s3 we get bigger is better energy which for certain plotpoints not it tbh. It takes a lot of character moments away in favor of more action shots. Like s1/s2 felt like a real haunted small town in America, idk why people shit on that especially on s2 when for me that season sealed the deal for me because I had a hard time with s1.
I totally agree with all this and the SPY is one of the *best* stranger things episode I remember when the season dropped and I watched it for the first time like OOF ITS SO FUCKING GOOD 😩
I always thought s2 was the most important season as well, and I think I’m right (I know I am) and GOD the people hating it because of one episode ??? Like not to be mean but get a grip you know 💀 it’s not even a bad episode, placement is a little off but the episode itself is important especially for El. i love stranger things a lot and I like things more than I dislike things about it, like I enjoy season 3, I think it’s a fun season but s2 FUCKS and I feel like a lot of people who barely watched it just don’t get it not sound like that guy but it’s true 🤨 I think it’s their strongest season and most cohesive too (and the duffers saying they’re taking unused ideas from s2 for s5 is ~interesting~) like okay my friend had the audacity to call it predictable and boring like back in JUNE and it still irks me to this day that she said that but surprise she barely watched the series this year and thinks s3 is top tier and my sister is the same way, then I see a lot of videos ranking it and putting s2 last and it’s like???? To each their own but…come on 😟 Idk again this isn’t me like hating on new fans i just find it so crazy that most of them think season 2 is the worst like ??? i guess it really is just for us on here cause every st mutual I’ve had since 2017 still think it’s the best too
And to add to your list of s2 being so good and the best it’s also like will byers season, he owned that one and did so GOOD and then the most important is the introduction of the MIND FLAYER like come fucking on people!!! It’s just so good and I still think the finale of that season is the best one 😩

Since the first episode of s5 is called Evolution, I think most of us are assuming that they retrieve the bunny miraculous, riiight?
If that’s the case then why wouldn’t they just go back in time to before Flairmidible stole them?
WELL
I think Bunnix shows up and tells them that they can’t or something (because then we wouldn’t have a 5th season)
Thank you for coming to my presentation.

FTWD 6x03: Details
Okay, let's talk details.
***As always, spoilers abound below for episode 6x03. Don’t read until you’ve watched!***
Tumblr media
We start out with seeing Morgan back with Rachel, Isaac's wife and little baby Morgan. At first, I thought this was a flashback, but it's not. Apparently, he went and saw Daniel at Virginia’s settlement, but then came back. He's planning go back and forth and obviously has plans to rescue everyone. (Yay!) Also, he pulled an S5 Rick and shaved off his huge beard. ;D
Tumblr media
The opening credits have a green background and show Al with her camera. I did note the green background when I started watching it, but I wasn't sure how significant it would be. So far, we've seen the red and blue background, and if they change colors with each episode, it might just be a matter of this is the color of the week, right? Except then we saw massive Beth parallels and foreshadows in this episode. Probably not a coincidence.
So, we had Al and Dwight go into the house. Al says, “camera A,” and then location 731, and 1600 hours.
I think the A is part of the A/B theme. Especially because, after watching a second time, I realized the helipad on the roof of the building Al goes to is called Bakers Drop. So camera A, Bakers drop.
The 1600 caught my attention as well. Earlier, with Rachel, Morgan said he felt like he'd been 16 different people since the apocalypse head. So the number 16 is appearing a lot in random places in the episode.
Tumblr media
About Al and Dwight collecting drivers’ licenses? It also reminded me of 1x01. If you remember, just before Rick and Glenn slathered themselves with guts, Rick pulled out the dead guy’s license. This could be a callback to that as well.
Tumblr media
There are lots of little symbols in the basement of the funeral home around Al. There's a green bottle, upside down, that’s either bleach or formaldehyde (which Al mentions). There are anatomical diagrams on the walls, including one of a brain. And then there's the Rich Bitch. She's wearing pink for one thing (Pink Theory) but it's obvious that she hasn't been dead long because she's not terribly decomposed. Al mentions that she thinks somebody might have embalmed her.
Tumblr media
Obviously, that didn't keep the woman from turning, and Dwight asked who would've done that. I think it's a hint to something else they talk about near the end. I’ll come back to that. When Al and Dwight sit on the coffin, talking, there are background symbols there as well. Green awning, boarded up windows that look like the moonshine shack, Xs in the metal pillars framing Dwight. This is also where Dwight says seriously.
Tumblr media
When they get into the office building in the city, they see the writing, "The end is the beginning," on the wall. This is not the same place we saw that phrase in episode 1. In that case, two guys spray painted it on the side of that enormous red submarine. So,  whoever is spray painting this is going around spray painting it in different locations for some reason.
Tumblr media
Al and Dwight see rats in cages. She takes a particular interest in them. But Dwight pulls her back because he doesn't like rats. I'm thinking that at this point Al already thought these rats were infected. Then she sees the sick people and their boils, and she knows that it's bubonic plague. But the weird thing is that the rats are in cages.
Tumblr media
It's also interesting to note that those who were sick were very dehydrated. They needed water to help them survive, along with antibiotics. It reminded me of the virus at the prison in 4A. It’s also something we predicted with Beth for a long time: that she’ll show up and save everyone in some way. Water is a big symbol for her and also medicine/healing. I’ll come back to these details.
There are several mentions of being lucky, which we talked about about last week. The Luck Theory and what it means. (X, X)
I actually got Consumed feels a few times during this episode. The first was when Al and Dwight were in one of the office rooms, talking things through. It just reminded me of some of the office Daryl and Carol were in during 5x06. Then, when they got to the fifth floor with all the sick people, there were tents set up, just like we saw around Daryl, Carol, and Noah in Consumed.
@wdway even said she thought Al and Dwight’s relationship was supposed to have been paralleled to Carol and Daryl in Consumed. I hadn’t thought of it quite that way, but I LOVE that and totally agree. Notice how Al and Dwight were close, even hugging at one point, but they’re never going to be a romantic couple. Just saying. 😉
When Dwight realizes going to see Isabel could be dangerous for Al, he tries to talk her out of it. This is where she got some Beth dialogue. First she said they'd been doing what Virginia wanted by filming the dead, and, "calling it living." Pretty much synonymous with that Beth said at Grady ("You call this living?") to Dr. Edwards on the roof.
Tumblr media
Then Al says, "We made a game out of seeing where dead people came from." That reminded me of two things. First, Beth and Daryl’s “I Never” game. But also when she yelled at him about the walker in the yard, saying, "killing them isn't supposed to be fun."
Tumblr media
Then Al says, "The last time I felt alive was with her." Definitely sounds like something Daryl might say about Beth, no?
Tumblr media
At one point, Al and Dwight go inside the walls to climb up to the next floor. It's not exactly the elevator shaft. The climb up using the pipes, but it's kind of similar. And there were some yellowish pipes as they crawl along, which reminded me of the pipes we saw when Noah and Beth try to escape the hospital.
Nora shows up to help them get up to the roof and wound up having to kill people that she knew when they were still alive. She becomes upset after having to kill one of them. What I noticed here was a small detail. She uses the bottom of an office chair to kill the walker. The bottoms of those chairs with the wheels on them are naturally in a five-pointed star shape. And she slammed it down into the walker’s eye. It showed this walker several times with his missing eye. So, more Sirius/Dog Star symbolism.
Tumblr media
When Al gets to the roof to wait for Isabel, we see a red box with flare gun in it. She ends up firing off the flare gun to get Isabel's attention before telling her not to land. We've seen plenty of flare guns and they’re always entangled with Beth symbolism. One that always sticks out to me the most was in 5x11, The Distance, when they met Aaron he led them back to Alexandria. He shot up a flare gun right next to water tower, which was always a major symbol for me. You can read more details HERE. But after that, we also saw the flare gun in the barn next to a bunch of other Beth symbols, including the music box.
Tumblr media
Let’s talk about the Trevitt callback. For anyone who doesn’t remember Trevitt, he was the guy that was brought into Grady while Beth was there. He had internal bleeding, and Edwards had Beth kill him by giving him the wrong medication.
Tumblr media
(And, you know, scissors!)
I always thought Trevitt was interesting and probably a potent symbol, though I didn't know of what. Because he just seems so random. They went out of their way to say the Grady people had found him on the street and that he’d jumped from the top of some building. He had internal injuries and probably wouldn't have survived anyway, but I wondered what that was all about and why they bothered to give us his back story only to kill him off without even waking him up.
Tumblr media
In this episode, Al and Dwight find a guy who's fallen from the roof of the building Nora and her group are in. We learn the man was shot by the helicopter people and then just fell. I'm still not sure exactly what this symbolizes, but it might strengthen the ties between Grady and helicopter people. Maybe Trevitt was somebody, much like this guy, who the helicopter people found, but for some reason killed him. Maybe he didn't so much fall from the roof as he was pushed or something. It's definitely a parallel and a very interesting one.
Tumblr media
Let's talk about the plague. Al suggests the plague isn't happening naturally just because of unclean conditions. She thinks someone—and they go out of their way to say it probably isn't Virginia—is making people sick. Spreading the plague purposely. I think that's what that first scene with Al looking at the rats in the cages was about. Why would there be a rat in a cage, especially one with bubonic plague, in the basement of a nice office building.? Someone had to put it there.
Tumblr media
Al concludes that whoever is writing, "the end is the beginning," on the walls is the one spreading the bubonic plague through the rats. We don't know who this is. Could it be the CRM? Maybe. Could be someone else, another group, we aren't aware of yet? Yeah, it could be. We just don't know.
But here's why this is so interesting to me. If these guys are purposely spreading a plague, then it's like they're purposely trying to kill off the human race. And yet they write, "the end is the beginning," on the wall. So, it's like they feel like they need to kill everyone off to start a whole new era or something like that.
Remind you of anything? Like…the wolves? We never learned much about their dogma, but they seemed to believe that by killing people, they were "freeing" them. As if sending humans to a new plane of existence.
Tumblr media
I'm not saying these guys necessarily are the wolves or have direct ties to them in the show, but thematically, their beliefs are similar.
So, I gotta say it. Could wolves have foreshadowed these people? Could Beth be returning with them? We simply don't know. But remember that we saw the Alaska license plate with Aaron at the wolf trap. Now, we’re getting people with perhaps similar beliefs in an episode called Alaska. And in this episode, characters are reuniting with lost, romantic partners who, until now, have been, "just gone."
Tumblr media
Have I mentioned how much I freaking loved this episode? Thoughts?

Hi! I hope you are doing well and you are safe. I am a fan of Riverdale just like you and Veronica is my fave. I was wondering, after hearing the news of her being married, do you think there is a chance of Varchie happening again? I also feel like writers will be exploring barchie this season. What does that mean for Bughead? Who is an endgame in your opinion? And one more question thoughts on season 5 Jeronica?
hiiya, hope you’re doing well too. i wanna first preface that i’m a fan of veronica and jeronica, not riverdale lol, but in terms of s5 predictions, i don’t know if this is possible with this show, where they clearly go with whatever they think is “cool” or “edgy” in the moment. they have entirely given up on narrative. so, you know, anything would make sense. if i had to give my two cents, i think b*ghead is probably a no-go, but it might go the way of d*lena on TVD, where the actors involved broke up but they kept the ship around, only made it harder for them to interact, so for all i know, the writers could still insist on bghead’s “epic” love story while making sure the characters have minimal contact. and yeah...i wouldn’t be surprised about a v*rchie comeback either, at some point. what i have noticed about these CW shows is that, while they toy around with multi-ships, they always revert to the “original” pairings in the final season because “you were always the one for me” or something equally nauseating. so, i totally see v*rchie pulling this bullshit in season 11, when riverdale presumably ends. out of all the ships that this show should firmly bury and never exhume, v*rchie is probably number one for me, simply because archie has treated veronica heinously, but...if you’re a shipper, you do you (i could see this ship still working in fanon, but canon? no way). if they do tackle barchie, keep in mind that they don’t really care about cohesive characters and storylines anymore, so it could vary wildly from episode to episode. and as for jeronica...honestly, at this point, i kind of hope they leave it alone. i love our little fanon family and the AUs and storylines we have created for them and i’d hate to see the show crap on it. i mean, i am here for jeronica friendship on the show, and i’d love more interaction, but i’m genuinely wary of romance because i don’t trust them to do it right or to make it meaningful. like, my nightmare scenario is them making jeronica canon for a few episodes just so that jughead could pine after betty and realize she was always the one. veronica has already been done dirty this way by archie, i have zero patience for this shit going down again. sorry if this comes out as abrasive, but i honestly don’t have much faith in them making a good story out of this. if it comes down to it, i’d rather veronica stayed with that new husband of hers lol. i guess we’ll see (i’m only tuning in for veronica and jeronica crumbs anyway)

-why i didn’t quit before / team family /s9-caryl
-big twd filming spoilers, 9x05?
-carick
-au
My thoughts so far.  vvv
I noticed some fans quit TWD early on like in s6 and they mentioned the flaws. They have good points and all. I wondered why I kept watching TWD. I think because it’s just one of the cool shows to watch on Sundays, and just loving the TF. I also think if I’m more critical of the show, I would probably quit the show around s3 or s6 too. Idk if it’s comic story way that made people lose interest or it’s the writing. Like a lot people miss the team family being really close and trying to survive..or on the road and not staying in one place. These comments are like what the comic-fans say too about the comics. So idk. Like it’s just how TWD story goes. Building up to a new world ..arc. (like Falling Skies show?) So, my point is that I didn’t quit back then because I just like the show and I was also was like hoping the show could turn around. I liked s6B. I find it interesting that Carol went to Kingdom and dealing with her issues. Richonne happend and Negan was introduced. (big character in comics) I was curious how it will go and I was curious what Carl will do. I know s7 and s8, the fandom didn’t like those seasons-AOW arc. I kinda don’t like it either. It was so dragged out and less TF. But I still like the show. I still feel hopeful that it will go better.
When Carl died (and he wasn’t like comic-Carl-y, imo like I hoped for) that was hard, but I was like okay so then it’s Rick’s show and I guess Michonne will live longer. AOW ended in s8. S8B was entertaining to me, imo. But I hated the finale and what they did with Carol. The finale should have been like or even better than the s2 finale and tease us the f*** with what will happen and excite us. (remember Michonne first appearance and prison. s3 also had a time jump) Then we got a new showrunner and news about LC and with the finale being so blah & hard to predict, I was like uhh it’s 50/50 chance of the show being better than before. Maybe more Team Family moments? I was still hopeful. We got those spoiler pics of TWD cast like they’re in a parade and them going to the “museum.” I got so excited again and hopeful but a bit conscious about it because Idk what s9 was. Then suddenly we got the AL news of him leaving ( and then LC). I just felt crushed. We lost Carl and now we’re losing Rick, the two big protagonists of the show. That’s just quick and weird. Also totally seems pointless for the show to keep going, imo. (but hey at least Rick got like 2 years of bliss/timejump). I know he wanted to leave some day (duh actors arnt robots)  but I wasn’t expecting how it goes like that and it’s just not what I want. I wanted this popular show to end where they wanted it to end. Like Lost, Scandal, Fringe, GoT, etc. But no...show business..life happens or whatever, AMC wants more money. So yeah I lost hope on the show - I quit with this show. So this is why I kept going till s9, I guess. It’s whatever whenever is enough for you. Now I look back on it, it’s really around s5-6 when we feel like TWD is Team Family like and good or fun to watch. There’s some things I liked about TWD that other shows don’t have. Like this slow pace..that feels realistic sometimes, the music, and cast. But seeing other shows, I’m like wow ..we know who are the main characters are and they interact a lot throughout the series. It’s sad. I miss TF.
So yeah I just take s9 as an AU story where Rick dies. -_- I hope Caryl goes canon but well the show is like done to me. So Idk. I would watch or care..if Caryl goes canon and everything else is interesting and TF being close again. Like it’s gonna be Carol and Daryl ..Michonne? and rest are Negan, Aaron, Rosita, Eugene and Tara. meh. It’s hard what do with this. In time I know. So far, s9 just sucks. C/E is gonna be or is canon. I just like siiiigh. I wish Carol isn’t with anyone in s9. I want to know who is Carol in the future and have her with TF again. But it’s not that. Carol with Zeke for some reason. Idk  why tease Caryl in s8 and not make C/E canon in s8???? Maybe Carol is just to prop Zeke story and comic death in s9??? That’s another thing. There’s this original TWD show story and characters’ arcs and comic book remixes. I think what we want is balance of those two. But lately s7 and on it’s all super plot-y or super comic book-plot-y. So maybe Zeke dies and then Carol helps Daryl to start the Whisperer war and then ..then what? Will we actually get more TF moments? If Caryl does become canon, will their romance be well written and interesting? (Shipping a non-canon ship to a canon ship changes the shipdom/fandom. People lose interest.)
---filming spoilers and spec in s9
So ep 5 or so, s9 filming spoilers, it’s obvious Rick dies. So right there the show isn’t gonna do a cool happy ending for Rick and the Grimes. No Grimes family off to a boat or Commonwealth. Now, I know. :( Poor Michonne. (writers totally screwed up her character-journey)
Based on spoilers, there’s a white horse (symbolism), that script paper.., Shane appearances. So yeah there’s some over the top death scene happening. Idc in some ways, because this is all AU to me. (twdspoilers4theprivileged tumblr) Based from the script paper spoiler/rumor, I noticed that Carol is there..actually the main five characters are there. It’s nice ..but once again it’s when something major happens. It seems like Rick takes the other parts of comic-Andrea’s death. He dies by trying to kill all the walkers in the herd ...to save his people(?) like Andrea did. It also seem traumatic too, our main characters are watching it as it goes. Like damn ..who wanna see that  super sad and depressing death of a character in this ep. Like sure ..Rick deserve this kind of death scene and how important and special he is. But ...it’s not a series finale and writers will forget about this in a couple episodes later with Daryl dealing with Negan and Whisperers, I guess. *Also I guess Zeke wasn’t there..and others. So it’s like Zeke isn’t or still not important in the show. So ..maybe he will die from Alpha in msf or finale in s9. I just think if Zeke will be a main character, then he gotta hang out with Daryl  and others,a lot. (so far he’s in ep1. so far Carol in ep 1 and 5..) Idk what Maggie will do / LC’s 6 episodes. There’s some play with time. Maybe Maggie dies in msf?
Yeah Carol so far is in ep 1 and 5. I don’t think she interacts with Rick in s9. I find it important for her to interact with him. It tells me writers remember their bond, care about the character Carol, and what they do with TF. So far, it’s seems like they don’t. This is the part that really upsets me..it’s something also that I was really hoping for in s9 and something to see if it will happen-then the rest s9 will go fine. I love Carick so ..yeah I don’t think there’s good Carick moments in s9 and I think Carol will only react about Rick’s death. Writers ..again don’t care or too lazy to deal with TF moments and Carol and her bonds with other characters. So, it’s like if writers can’t do Carick scenes so then s9/new showrunner doesn’t matter to me anymore. It’s over. Those Carick hopes or Carol hopes were all before AL news, btw. That s8 finale made me doubt.
I might accept TWD s9 and Rick’s death, if like the first 6 episodes or so was treated like a series finale and it was something writers/Gimple have in mind for a long time and that they wanted Rick to die in ‘series finale’. And then the rest be like a spin-off and plus being more character-y..good writing. But  eh. We still see characters dealing with his death and other plots going on. It just won’t work, I guess. But right now, I’m like it’s all AU, idc. TF are close and Grimes family lives on.
So, now that im like ‘whatever’ with the show or try to.., i wanna point out the flaws more lately. But it’s stuff we already know. It’s really crazy to watch TWD s8 and then watch the recent season (s5) of The 100 and how much The 100 flows better, character’s arcs goes naturally well or balanced. It’s not too (comic)plotty. And ofc, there’s girls power, and character interactions. Mains still interact. That stuff that I like and interested in.  I know they’re different shows. I think TWD is probably more like Falling Skies with how the story goes but it’s not really charactery..in story right now.
...Let’s do AU fanarts.

IAL #36 My VLD S6 review + My Predictions for S7
Hey hello guys welcome to another Sunday and so it’s been a week since s6 of voltron dropped and literally the fandom is dead. If you are from my writing blog my author name is Tidus S. Queen but on my personal account I am Kat. I am going to be telling my opinions about this season and how good and amazing it was
Disclaimer: these are just are my options please respect them if you don't care just dont read the post and have a nice day. I am also giving 0 hate to ships this is just my views/take on the latest season.
Because I am way to obsessed for this show I rewatched S3 to S5 before the season dropped so I knew everything for this season.
Tumblr media
My thoughts on Lotor:
S5 cliffhanger was Lotor and Allura going to the Altean world called Oriande to learn more about altean alchemy. Then we learned about lort how he is literally a space indiana jones and zarkon was a prick as a father to him and you feel bad for him. I’m gonna state right now I NEVER TRUSTED NO MATTER HOW HOT HE IS. The first time we meet the prince lotor is in S3 when he literally was teasing the paladins and to see if they can become voltron, but they can't because we lost shiro in the astral plane and he died in the s2 finale. So yeah thanks dreamworks for hurting me in the feels.
One more thing I wanted to point out Dos Santos one of the co-executive producer said that lotor was gonna be like a “justice league villain” in an article and as someone who loves superhero and villains I knew lotor was going in to help voltron with a bigger ulterior motive and once he got it the quintessence he literally played himself because he actually had real feelings for allura but we then learn this season that he killed f the alteans hw saved to get more enriched quintessence. Do i Feel he is not dead? Nope we saw no body therefore there is a total possibility we are going to see lotor in future seasons . Do we think he get a redemption arc like zuko? Maybe there are a lot of possibilities
Tumblr media
My thoughts on Allura and Lance :
Another character I want to talk about is Allura guys I felt for A llura for this season so much because she literally got played by lotor all allura wants to do is see her people and altea again. We know that Allura loves her people and her dad and she lost her planet to the galra since the very beginning of this show. The question I have been seeing non-stop is that do you think Allura is using Lance as a rebound ? NO NO NO Allura will never do that to Lance ,and Lance respects her too much to be a douche to her he cares about her he is protective friend ( i don’t blame him} . lance did get friendzone this season yes but he is not gonna be a douche to Allura because he got friendzone. Lance has manners and respect Allura. I love their platonic friendship in my views. If you ship them romantically I respect you
A lot of people are hating on dreamworks for pushing Lance over this season. Hello hi people who are thinking that that is how the vld staff and created story tell the characters arcs in this show. Do I want lance to be happy? hell yess. But Lance can’t just get random happiness as a writer and creator of any story you have to make characters suffer in order to make them grow in a story. I know personally think they are setting up Lance's arc for that reason .In my eyes lance and allura friendship are going to get stronger as the seasons progress.
Tumblr media
My thoughts on Keith: FINALLY FINALLY WE GET THE ORIGIN STORY OF KEITH’S PARENTS AND HIM AHH IM SO HAPPY THANK THANK YOU DREAMWORKS. Also keith has matured so much found his mom and probably bonded with we the two years that him and his mom were on space dolphins. I think that Keith need the 2 year gap with his mom. He probably learned stuff for her and he now understands his origin. Keith becoming the black paladin he is now the leader that shiro wanted him to be reference in s2 when they were going to the BOM headquarters. Keith also got a pokemon wolf when everyone else was playing dnd space version. Keith go shiro back and his mom and he has definitely grown since season 1. His fighting scene with shiro was so heartbreaking to watch but he knew how to handle the clone and respect kuro. Shiro is Keith father figure form what we saw in the flashbacks with keith dad wearing Shiro’s outfit from season 1 -2 and their bond is so deep I love them so much. I do believe that Shiro did save Keith and I love their brotherly love I really do. You ship them relatively good for you I am not hating on the ship this is just my opinion on their bond.
My thoughts on Romelle: I love this pretty altean conspiracy theorist who literally busted lotor. I love romelle I hope we see her in future seasons.
Thought on Hunk,Pidge, and Coran : they did amazing the whole season hunk defeated galra with galran policitiscs. Pidge our wonderful pidge saved the universe.. Coran has muscles he looked amazing and did great this season.
My opinions on the 7 eps:
Ep1: Omega Shield
We meet lotors nanny. (she reminds me of space yazma from the emperor's new groove lol”
Hunk learning galra politics are schooling the galrans to stop fighting (im so proud our diplomatic boy )
Ep2 : Razor Edge (more like keith and his mom bonduing ep and I’m all for that”
I love krolia, i love we get keith’s origin about his mom and dad how they met, how she got there
Texas kogane saving keith name from being yorak (lol)
BABY KEITH
They she protected keith from the blast (ahh my heart the feels)
How keith and shiro met (finally i have been waiting since s1)
How keith acted in the garrison (poor boy he fought someone )
Keith gets a pokemon who loves and it is very valid to be (also what's it’s name yorak or keith dad’s name?)
Ep 3:Monsters and Mania
The chilliest ep for the paladins
The dnd ep is my fav. I love dnd i got all their jokes about dnd
Kuro being a literal nerd yass
Lance is an adorable dork and i love him
Pidge growing to defeat coran
Allura looking like a queen being amazing with a bow and arrow
Hunk rocks every look i love how his va tyler labine made him talk man oh and punk friendship is just beautiful
Ep 4:The colony
Romelle losing her brother over quintessence
Her not believing in lotor
The ep allura threw lotor and he deserved and it was right after they kissed
Romelle being a literal badass
Ep 5: The Black Paladins
Keith and Kuro fight was so beautiful and emotional
Keith being the black paladin and has matured so well
I loved this episode too it was amazing the animation everything the soundtrack is beautiful too
Ep: 6: All Good Things
The ep that allura dragged lotor when they were fighting between the dark voltron vs good voltron
I called that lotor was gonna make a bad voltron
Allura summing the blazing sword
Coran needs to wear more muscle tees and show of his muscles more
Ep 7: Defender of all universes
The actual ship that matters the castle of lions has to be destroyed to close off the quintessence field
And the montage yeah that gave me all the feels
SPACE DAD IS BACK
Looking amazing with white hair he is now a silver fox and he gets to rest FINALLY
Allura doing her own version of avatar state to put shiro essence into the clone body
The ending and the parallels . ALL THE PARALLELS THIS SEASON
I CAN’T WAIT FOR SEASON 7 WE GOING BACK TO EARTH
My favorite episode was ep 3 because I love dnd and everyone got to just chill and play game.
My thoughts on season 7
Road Trip season i heard it's going to be from the co executive said in a recent articles
I want keith to play dnd so badly I want him to hang out more with the paladins and be super goofy
Shiro actually seeing matt again
I want to see hunk’s and lance’s galaxy garrison stories
Lance arc might happen
What’s keith pokemon wolf name?
And his dad name?
Hagger is gonna be the new villian along with sendak
I have no idea what else is gonna happen next season but i’m already hyped for it
If you have read through this whole review thank you for reading it sorry it is full of rambles but this is just what I think of this season. I loved it. I hope you are having a nice day, night or ,afternoon and what are your thoughts on this season? Did it make it or break it for you? What do you think is gonna happen in s7 or future seasons? Please like or reblog and follow my main or my writing blog I post these IAL every sunday at 9EST. And again thank you for reading my review.

(the formatting is kinda messed up but I’m on mobile and it’s the best i can do. Sometimes separate bullet points aren’t showing up where they should, etc. Sorry.)
I was tagged by @peppersandcats to choose 3 fandoms and answer the questions.
Shameless US, Prison Break, and The 100
(These are the three shows I most recently found myself watching a bunch of episodes in a row for in order to finally, way late after being spoiled thoroughly via fanvideos, catch up on the newest seasons. And I am 100% caught up on them all now, yay.)
i. the first character i loved Well gosh aren’t I boring and predictable here? I love the main characters lol…
Fiona Gallagher
Michael Scofield
Clarke Griffin (to be fair also fell instantly for Raven the second she became a character.)
Shameless arguably is an ensemble without one main lead but. Fiona is kinda more of a main character overall than a lot of the siblings, especially from what I remember of the pilot. Even The 100 is eventually not that much “Clarke’s show”, but people embrace that she’s the lead protagonist if you’re picking only one, yes? She certainly started the pilot and ended the most recent season finale all on her own.
ii. the character i never expected to love so much
hmm… there are so many directions I could go with this. I can’t remember the beginning of my experience with Shameless well enough to be sure of what I was thinking exactly, but I must’ve not expected to love Mickey initially, and more recently I didn’t expect to love Trevor (Ian’s newest boyfriend) so VERY much. No one on Tumblr or YouTube in the fandom cares at all but like. He’s amazing?? So let’s say those 2 for now.
T-Bag? Lol s5 has corrupted me.
probably Monty. His emotional depth and importance as a character snuck up on me.
iii. the character i relate to the most
oh idk it depends on the season and the aspect of them that we’re talking about. It’s one of the 4 oldest siblings for sure, or all of them, lol… I just wrote up too much stuff then deleted it all kinda by accident. Whatever. I guess I relate to bits and pieces of Debbie, Ian, Lip, and Fiona and that is why I like the show so much . Because at least at times, I do relate to most of them. But really I don’t relate to any in that full of a way and I’m not sure I can even pick 1 I’m closest to.
None?? Idk relating to characters on Prison Break seems hard if I really think about it. Maybe Veronica. Or LJ. Thinking back to season 1. They’re both pretty relatable characters on some levels. They are meant to be, on the outside of it all, normal people. But they have good hearts.
relating to characters in a sci-fi futuristic dystopia/apocalypse/war… not actually very easy for me. Lol. Maybe Monty or Clarke?? Personality wise, even sexuality wise as people were headcanoning Monty as asexual before the newest season and Clarke is bisexual (I’m a biromantic-ish ace)… Yeah idk.
iv. the character i’d slap
Frank is the cockroach they keep trying to kill or at least keep out of their house for a reason… so obviously him. But I have no expectations or hopes with Frank. I think mainly Lip is most often who I feel frustrated with, who is too stubborn and who self sabotages and who hurts Fiona too much with what he says to her.
all the characters on Prison Break are either a) cinnamon rolls who don’t deserve slapping or b) people that beyond deserve it but they’d kill me and my entire family if I did. Lol. I therefore don’t think I “would” slap most of the scary criminal types on this show, and picking just one is hard.
Jaha? Yes repeatedly Thelonias Jaha really upsets me. Every single season.
v. three favorite characters (in order of preference)
Lip, Fiona, Ian, not sure about that order really. Debbie is close too.
Michael, Lincoln… Sucre? He really is the sweetest guy, they named him very deliberately lol. Also though Sid. I fell for him in s5 in Sucre’s absence?
Raven, Bellamy, Clarke, probably yes that order. I’m mainly thinking of the most recent season though for Bellamy.
vi. a character i liked at first but not anymore
Probably Mandy. I really don’t forgive her for her attempted murder and severely permanently hurting Karen… among other things?
Well… in season 5 Jacob Ness for sure, I so wanted to believe Sara’s new husband was this wonderful amazing guy… Even just for storytelling reasons it would be so much more interesting if she never stopped loving Michael, of course, but she also was fully in love with someone new…
hmm I’m not sure. This is harder than I thought for The 100. Probably Finn i liked quite a bit more at his start than his end lol. Idk. I’m pretty hard to fully turn against characters perhaps, and it’s just complicated on this show, so complicated. Abby I care about a lot less than I once did actually.
vii. a character i did not like at first but now do
I don’t remember my initial impressions that well either even thoughi rewatch parts of season 1 for vidding fairly regularly lol. I think Carl has grown on me a lot. Karen too, perhaps. I think most characters were pretty lovable early into their arcs though, or not meant to evet be liked.
Lincoln Burrows I didn’t dislike or anything but he certainly grew on me a lot, slowly becoming more and more lovable?
I need to rewatch to remember what characters were like in the beginning but I think Kane, Bellamy, maybe Murphy (idk how much I like him now but more than i did), etc.
vii. 3 OTPs
this is complicated to limit to three because there are so many options. I love the fact that Debbie seems content to marry Neil and have a nonsexual relationship with him even though they’re both straight. So they’re a new ship I support, Neil/Debbie. Actually many of the main ships this season were strong and I’m rooting for them into s8 when it comes out though. Lip/Sierra is my realistic shipping them now situation, although not perfect, and Ian/Trevor!! Yes these two mean the world to me. I don’t know about “OTP” though. Those are 3 so I’ll stop… But I have a love/ hate relationship towards pretty much every canon sexual relationship on the series… and I say sexual because half the time it’s not necessarily romantic…
3 ships. On this show??? The whole beauty of it is really all the platonic love lol. I like Michael/Sara yes, Lincoln/Sheba… and I vaguely remember at the end of season 4 rooting a little for Lincoln/Sofia too. And well, bonus #4 ship… thinking about season 5, Sid/his first lover should’ve been allowed to survive happily ever after.
canon? Maybe just Clarke/Lexa. (Vaguely i once shipped Clarke/Wells but they killed him off in like ep 3 so.) AU though… I’ve been shipping Kane/Jaha slash since the pilot lol, maybe to spite actor Isaiah Washington who plays Jaha but got fired from Grey’s Anatomy for being homophobic but really because the two men totally seem in love to me. And I shipped Clarke/Raven as soon as Raven landed on the ground, as soon as Clarke saw the guy she’d just slept with kissing Raven and decided to still smile at Raven and be genuinely glad she survived…
Most canon The 100 ships I enjoy a little.
Sorry if this was way too long. I had fun answering though! I know you’re already tagged, @quarticmoose, but I too would like to see your answers…
I’m not sure who to tag. @nickneedstherapy, @bookgirlfan, @purrplelace, @zserb really anyone who wants to be tagged please just let me know and I’ll add you or just. Do it anyway!

Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 4 Recap Pt. 2
WARNINGS: SPOIIIILERS; not a D@€n€r¥$ stan; a Jonsa shipper with a pair of very tight shipper-googles.
—–
4.- Now we back on Dragonstone, Missandei is worried cuz they have got no news about her bae, and D is like calm down girl he’ll come back soon, and they both smile and giggle about the sexy-time, this scene made me smile a lot, it’s been a loooong time since we saw Missandei and D talking like friends, because that’s what they are fundamentaly which is something I’ll bring up in another point.
So Jon interrupts them because he wants to show D something, D and Missandei exchange that glance you give your bff when your crush is near, so I gather there is def some interest on D’s part.
Jon says he wanted her to see the stuff before they destroyed it, D is clearly impressed and wait the fuck up, I know D didn’t know about the dragonglass and I already said I disapprove of her willful ignorance, but this is serious she should know her castle, Jaime and knew Casterly Rock so well, that he predicted D’s army was going to take it easily, sloppy D very sloppy.
Anyway she is awed by the beauty of the place, and I don’t blame her obsidian is beautiful, but that is not the only thing he wanted to show her.
He leads her to a smaller cave, and shows her some drawings the children of the forest and the first man made when they fought the WW together, Jon asks for her help again and D seems to believe him now.
The chemistry improved greatly, and I could see hints of romance, that is until D opened her mouth, she begins real well saying she’ll fight for the North but only if he bends the knee, Jon replies with far more grace and patience that I ever could, and says his people will never accept a southern ruler, she is like if you do they will is your pride more important than their safety?
And I have a LOT to say about this, as lot of people noticed this is a clear parallel to the S5 Mance vs Stannis plot, where Jon pleads to Mance to bend the knee and even makes a jab about his pride (because Jon didn’t wanted Mance to die) now we know Mance was right, if he bent the knee he would no longer be King of anything because he would have let his people down doing something they didn’t want, but even if D’s words parallel Jon’s she is not a parallel of Jon, she is fullfiling Stannis’s role, a prideful King that met his demise because he thought he was the one promised he ran into a battle recklessly and he refused to help the Night Watch with the WW til he won the throne. Now of course this sounds familiar and the parallel doesn’t bode well for D, because at the end Stannis was the one whose pride ended up killing everything he cared about.
Jon is of course Mance in this, and is intresting Jon himself saved Mance the awful death Stannis wanted to gave him: burning him alive. Who else likes to burn people? D of course! and we can safely asume Jon is in danger (I mean taking him hostage is not an exactly friendly thing) from the preview of ep. 5, and I’m actually thinking all this hyping of the Targcest is to hide the very clear Targbowl that is already being foreshadowed, and Jon will once again pull a sex to convince I’m on your side he did with Ygritte to avoid dying. And I’m actually with those who think that if feelings are involved they will be pretty one-sided but I’ll elaboraste on it on another scene.
After that frustating interaction, they get out of the cave, Tyrion and Varys look very worried, and inform they’ve taken CR, D is like That is a good thing why you so sad guys! And we skip the whole explanation of how they got played, Tyrion immediately apologizes, and Jon wants to gtfo but D insists that he and Dadvos stay just so she can humilliate Tyrion in front of more people, and this is Meeren all over again, where Tyrion has to take resonsability for everything even if his plans were the clever and diplomatic solution and D’s had the ruthless crazy one, also the fact that she is questioning his loyalty is golden really when he is the one who taked such wonderful things about her last ep. Also she says she is pissed because how is she gonna feed her army and people if Cersei took all the food (this will be important later)
Anyway she asks Jon what he thinks she should do, he is like super uncomfortable but she insists, and he tells her if she wants to make a difference between herself and Cersei the dragons are not the way, that will just make her more of the same shit Westeros wants to get rid of but D is like fuck clever plans Imma be a dragon like hardcore granny wanted. ( so more of same we’re choosing right D?)
5.- Back in WF (thx the gods) Brienne is trashing Pod once again, Arya interrupts them and asks to spar with Brienne cuz she was the one to defeat the Hound, Brienne agrees but isn’t very sure even if she is totally charmed by Arya.
From upstairs, Sansa who is once again disscusing food, stops to watch along with her creepy shadow (aka Littlefinger)
Gosh this scene is truly a thing of beauty, Arya and Brienne are both amazing warriors, and both are truly happy to be around another. Sansa is very worried tho, and LF is happy cuz I’m guessing the dumbass thinks he can manipulate things in his favor (wrong but let the bih have dreams).
6.- Once again on those long ass stairs of DS (honestly I could have watched a whole episode of Brienne vs. Arya) and Dadvos is like what do you think of her? Jon is like who? Dadvos is like D!! Jon says and I quote “She has a good heart” and I have a few ideas why he said this:
- he isn’t gonna talk badly about her in her castle, we know her people is there, Varys is there and everyone knows he has soles everywhere.
-he remembers what Tyrion said about her and the slaves. Tis is my guess really.
-he is the worst judge of character ever. Cuz even if D hasn’t been evil and crazy like he probs expected, she hasn’t been very kind with him (she did allow him to mine the dragonglass but she got him kidnapped basically).
And Dadvos is like yeah I saw you staring at her ‘good heart’ aka her boobs, first I was like WTF is this forced romance they trying to feed me?? But now that I think about it Dadvos is no political mastermind, but he did spent some time with Stannis and he has learnt from him (Fewer am I right?) he and Jon are at a very precarious situation, and they are clear on the won’t bend the knee stuff, so what option is left? Well marriage. This seems to me am attempt of Dadvos at playing the game of thrones, if Jon romances her (I don’t think marriage in itself is Dadvos goal here) she might be more willing to help them and Jon probs won’t have to bend the knee. Cuz if D&D wanted me to buy the whole he is super atracted to her, a shot of him staring at her (we’re seen Jon lust eyes before with Mely, and he def hasn’t looked at D like that) or her boobs would have been quite enough, plus Jon’s reaction to this, he is not blushing or stammering like he does in this situations he is like ‘WTF why you talking about boobs when we have to defeat the NK????’ and goes on to talk about the NK.
Dadvos insists on talking about boobs when he spots Missandei, they make conversation with her (Dadvos insist in call him King pls), and she says she and the people who came with D from Essos believe in her and choose her as their queen for herself and not for her name or who her dad was, and if she so desired she could go back to Naath and D would totes support her I believe only the last because as I said before, they are friends before anything else.
Let’s break this down, it’s very important she said the people who came with her from Essos choose her as their queen, because is that true? Well the Unsullied, Varys, Tyrion and herself maybe, but let’s remember she and the Unsullied had no real experience with another form of government except from the Masters, so that doesn’t say a lot about D as a ruler apart that she had a good heart and liberated them, they choose her out of gratitude really if you think about it.
Varys and Tyrion had literally no other option, Tyrion was being persecuted for the murder of his dad and his nephew and Varys couldn’t go back even if he wanted cuz Cersei would have killed him for smuggling Tyrion, and he wanted to check out D Targ for himself, they arrived at Mereen when it was a freacking chaos and that was D’s doing yet they still choose to follow her on the idea that freeing slaves=a good person and hopefully she would do some good in Westeros even if she was not grand on politics they would be by her side (let’s be honest, they both Love to think they are the cleverest people in the world) and with Dragons, Unsullied and Dothrakis what could go wrong amirite? Well they were both idiots if you ask me.
Now the Dothrakis are a different matter altogether, she took their army by force. If one really thinks about it Cersei and D ended up S6 in the same way, Cersei blew up the Great Sept of Baelor (th Main place of the Faith of the 7 in Westeros) with wildfire (used by Targs) and seized the control of the 7K and D burned the Dosh Khaleen (the Main place of the faith for the Dothrakis) and seized control of them. Only D’s has an awful touch of racism, you see when Hernán Cortez first arrived to mexican coasts, zapotecos thought he was Quetzalcoátl (one of the Main gods from our parthenon) for his shiny armour, White skin and bread (that’s how Quetzalcoátl was described) and that’s why they took him in and gave him lots of gifts, fed his armies, etc. And then you have D coming out of the flames without a single scratch, even the most cynic person would be impressed, Dothrakis most likely thought it was a sign that she was the Stallion that mounts the world, and that’s why they are following her really, because they have very different ideas of rulership and we have already seen that on their treatment of Viserys whom they thought (and well he really was) a weak ass bitch for waiting the comfort and luxury of a westerosi king.
So again how is their support for her a sign that she would be a good queen or that she is in any way the same as Jon??? (It’s not)
And my suspicions about Dadvos intentions seem to get confirmed when he is like you mind if I switch sides, he doesn’t say this seriously at all, but he is trying to be like see she is so good I might follow her and you both are really not so different.
All this flies past Jon as soon as he sees a Greyjoy banner.
.
.
Again too long, part 3 is coming up.

i almost forgot: please abbreviate controversial ship names. we can’t get sloppy now.
Anonymous said:Hi Rosy, yup that was mine! I wish I remembered the first part verbatim. Sorry, I don’t know exactly which parts where in the 2/3 and 3/3 sections. But it went something like: I have to ask this as an anon bc the people I talk to would probably come for me for saying I'm intrigued/excited to find out how B/echo's relationship develops in S5. If it *potentially* happens as a romantic relationship that extends to earth time, I want to see Bellamy open up to someone emotionally who’s not Kane, P1 Octavia, or Clarke. And it would be neat to watch Echo transpose her loyalty to Bellamy and act on it because I sensed low-key pining/longing/lusting on her part toward him in S4 (maybe even S2 truth be told). I really see the CL parallels, but I think this could be done healthier. Right, Clarke went from calling L a bitch to falling for her a few episodes later. But Bellamy had a stronger sense of who he was in S4/his loyalties/better mental health than Clarke in S3. So he kept Echo at a-Part 2 super huge distance. While I desperately need my wish of Bellarke endgame to be fulfilled, but it would be cool if Clarke didn’t get an immediate resolution to all the pining for/missing Bellamy she’s done right away in S5. I kind of want her to have to romantically woo him, if that even makes sense. Yes, they have a beautiful relationship/friendship/loyal partnership, etc. And I don’t see that going away even in a time jump. But what’s missing is the raw sexuality/flirting we glimpsed--Part 3 in S1. So it would be nice if another partner either of them had in the presence of the other stirred that up a little. Nothing crazy, but just a nudge in the right direction. I think B/echo might be the instigator of that, which is a much better thing than B/raven imo. Do you have thoughts on this? Ok, sooo, feel free to blend this into the rest of my original ask. :) Thanks! Sorry for the technical glitch! I’ll save this version just in case. 4/4
There it is. Thanks for resending.
I need to start this out by saying I am 100% unreservedly total Bellarke endgame. The Bellarke relationship is the center of this story, in its entire journey, from enemies, to partners, to friends, to undefined connection, to separation, to the ridiculous mutual pining of season 4, to whatever it is they come up with for season 5. The story is about Clarke and Bellamy and their relationship to each other and their partnership and how they bring back the world. It just is. I’ve been saying it for years now and now we have absolute confirmation from JR. (YAY!) Bellarke. Rebirth. Mythology. Here we are. This is the story, I am not at all threatened by other relationships or romances, because they are all part of the journey of Bellarke.
That said, I am actually really interested in their personal development outside of their relationship and like you say, I am interested in the exploration of the parallels between B/cho and CL, and if we can find a healthier way to create a redemption story and build a relationship when there is so much betrayal at the root of it. I DO think it’s possible for true change, even when people have done horrible things. And it’s an interesting story to explore. I also thought Echo showed a clear interest in Bellamy. I’m pretty sure that her loyalty to her queen or king will be transferred to Bellamy. Because that is the root of her character, and Bellamy spared her, and is the leader, and believed in her, which is something I don’t think her king or queen ever did. So this is going to be important for her, and getting to know Echo, who was Bellamy’s legitimate and primary enemy for a while is going to be pretty important for him in learning what it means to forgive (OOOH Forgiveness is hard for us!!!) and in understanding those who seemed to be the enemy. So that alone is going to be huge for his character development.
I think we can get so hung up in who is boning whom that we forget about the essential natures of the characters and conflicts. But this show does not. The characters and conflicts remain even after they fall in love or hook up or break up or whatever... which I think is a pretty good thing and what keeps this show from becoming a soap opera.
As for Bellamy and Clarke coming back together immediately. I think they will, but I think they will come back together as partners. I don’t think their relationship will have changed very much at all, although neither of them will be sure of where they stand with the other. But their feelings and belief in each other, I think that’s going to probably remain.
The romance however... now that’s going to be an interesting story. clarke has been in suspended animation, with only her memories while Bellamy will have had this whole other life, other relationships with other people.  I’m almost positive with Echo, probably a bit with Raven, I’m thinking some Murphy too maybe the others, over the course of 6 years. I thought this would be so at the end of the season and what JR said is perfectly in line with my early predictions. They may not be exactly “bellamy’s harem” like I said, but I was kind of being dramatic since everyone was freaking out. But yeah. Mix and match. 6 years.
So when they come back down her feeling will be on the surface, but here he is with this family she has nothing to do with. I feel so sorry for Clarke. What a hard thing. She was free, but alone. Again. Thank goodness for Madi.
I am looking forward to seeing Clarke and Bellamy re-establish their relationship, starting with where they left off, but also, strangely, getting to know each other all over again. Only this time, they will know who the other person is and already trust and care for them.
I really want to see them get to fall in love. And this time actively. Not accidentally. Not realizing it after it had already happened, but kind of of their own free will.
Not immediate. Not assumed, because she’s Clarke and he’s Bellamy. But choice.

Angel Thoughts - Season 3
So these were super delayed because of stuff. And mildly tainted because I’ve already gone on and watched the first 7-8 episodes of Season 4. But I’m writing them down anyway. (Also at least my predictions for Season 4 are pure/aka written down right after I finished watching.)
Previous Seasonal Recaps: BtVS S1+S2, BtVS S3, BtVS S4 + AtS S1, BtVS S5 + AtS S2, BtVS S6
I’m going to try and keep this short and sweet.
On Darla and the pregnancy arc:
I thought the Darla pregnancy storyline was going to repetitive of last season’s Darla arc, but I liked it. I liked the conclusion and how Darla had to stake herself and that’s her death = redemption arc. Actually, I think I was like “HOLY SHIT, SHE’S NOT-- OH MY GOD SHE IS--!” when she staked herself but yeah.
On Fred:
So it took me awhile to warm up to her, but now I love Fred. And OH MY GOD, I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop in the episode with her parents but I LOVE THE FACT THAT HER PARENTS ARE JUST COOL WITH IT AND LOVING AND SUPPORTIVE AND OH MY GOD IT IS JUST THE BEST TWIST.
On Fred/Gunn/Wesley love triangle:
I also loved it. I loved how they made Fred/Gunn a thing (they remind me of Rey/Finn is a lot of ways) and how cute they are compared to all of the seriousness around them. I like how it’s a relationship with two completely different... well, not brain types because Gunn is smart, he’s just not book smart. But no one is like “Fred is inherently better because she’s college educated” or “Gunn’s not good enough for her”. They just like each other and they work. Also there isn’t an episode where there’s drama because they don’t share the same interests (in fact they go the opposite way by introducing Gunn to ballet, which was the BEST).
Which speaking of the ballet episode and the Wesley part of the love triangle, I like how they resolved in that one episode and Wesley just backed off. I was legit scared they were going to go the jealous!Wesley is possessed by the count’s spirit or something, but no. Wesley is a BAMF and he knows when to let go.
On the supportive Cordelia/Angel as team Mom/Dad + baby relationship:
Again I loved it. (Plus Uncle Lorne stepping in as baby sitter and singing resentful lullabies about not getting invited to the ballet.) I think part of that was balanced out by the stark contrast to Season 6 Spike/Buffy that was going on at the time. Like the blondes are having wall to wall angry sex, knocking down entire buildings, and a couple hundred miles away in LA, the brunettes are lying down all chill with a bottle of milk and baby Conner between them, just talking. Like they were two completely different relationships and they worked like that. (Well, Spike/Buffy was self-imploding, but yeah). And yeah... then things started tanking...
On the Angel/Cordelia romantic relationship:
I was totally behind Angel suddenly developing these feelings and Cordelia having no clue/being dismissive. And I didn’t even mind Groo popping back up and essentially being a romantic cockblocking cliché (mostly because Groo is plain awesome).
BUT. I hated the final episode where Cordelia just talks to vision of herself as is like “okay yeah. i’m in love with angel. totally.”
NO. NO. NO.
THAT IS NOT HOW YOU DO ROMANTIC DEVELOPMENT/REALIZATION. NO.
And I was about ready to forgive it (a little) because of how cute their phone conversation was when Cordelia said she wanted to meet him, but then they got cockblocked again by the Powers That Be, so wtf???
On Wesley’s betrayal:
So I’m super fine with the fact that Angel didn’t forgive him, but I’m not sure why every single other member of the team followed suit? Well, I mean, Fred pretty much instantly forgave him so four for you, Fred. You go, Fred.
But yeah, it’s not like Wesley was directly in league with Holtz, planning to hand Conner over. And, it’s like, I could see them giving Wesley a cool off period out of support to Angel if Wesley was physically fine, but he wasn’t. HE GOT HIS THROAT CUT. HE NEEDED SUPPORT TOO. And, like, yes Cordelia was gone during the immediate aftermath of this and was Team Mom but am I really supposed to believe she was like “oh wesley thought angel was prophesied to kill conner so he tried to take him away to save him but got his throat cut? hmmm... well, i guess wesley deserved it. i won’t check on him to make sure he’s still alive or anything, even though we’ve known each other for the past four years”??? Like COME ON.
On the ep where Cordelia becomes a demon:
This was my favorite episode after the ballet ones. Cordelia is still my fave and this was a much needed episode in a season where it kind of felt like she got picked up and put back down whenever the plot remembered/forgot about her?
On Conner timeskipping to be a teenager:
AAAAAANGST. I did like his interactions with the druggie girl though. Nice, tragic one-off character.
On predictions for next season:
(as i mentioned, i’ve already started watching the next season, but these were written the minute i finished season three (aka a month or so ago))
- Angel will spend the entire summer at the bottom of the lake
- and Cordelia's a literal angel thing now? and Fred and Gunn are 100% clueless about what's going on… but Wolfram and Hart would be on the whole "where the fuck is angel?" cluetrain, and they'd send Wesley to do something, or Wesley would learn about it, and he'd team up with Fred and Gunn
- and with the powers of Wolfram and Hart they’ll find Angel somehow
- IDK the only other option would be Cordelia coming back all "lol i'm here temporarily to help you out" and she’d light them a beacon in the sea to find Angel (and I know she comes back because she's on the cover of the DVDs)
- anyway, Angel will be free and there's going to be drama with Connor; i'm predicting a mid-season climax/turn back to the light side
- I'm guessing Angel/Cordelia angst in the form of her going, "i'm only here temporarily. i'm going to reascend soon. we can't be together" and Angel will be all "i could never be with you physically anyway so can we just watch netflix and chill?"
- and then, yeah, Cordelia will re-ascend at some point because I'm 90% she's not in season 5
- Fred and Gunn will continue being cuties but because this is a Whedon show, something will happen externally to break them up. I've heard there's a character named Illyria who eventually exists, and Amy Acker also plays her so Fred becomes Illyria or something? And then the Fred/Gunn/Wesley love triangle re-ignites? Except for now it's Illyria/Gunn/Wesley? (i am more stoked to figure out what the hell happens with this vs any sort of angel/conner/apocalypse drama)
- Holtz's girlfriend will die at some point because she's a terrible person
- Lilah will continue to kick ass, rise above Daniel Dae Kim, and get an offer to become a senior partner aka some sort of devil demon
- the show will cease to follow Angel and instead follow Lilah and Cordelia as they become two giant opposing forces on a higher plane and… okay, yeah, that's not going to happen but a girl can dream
- Lorne will live because... alright, I don’t have a reason, I just want him to live because he’s my second favorite character and I want a scene with him and Spike together next season

Gigi / other admins what are your predictions for TO season five, like honest predicitions not unrealistic ones? also why do you carry on the blog when you say you no longer like the show?
My (Gigi) honest opinions are here:
First and foremost I predict this is the last. I don’t think they’ll have another season, and I think the writers will be aware they’re writing their last.
Unnecessary teen drama fuelled by daddy issues with Hope because her father never picked up the phone despite breaking the rules and visiting Elijah (lord don’t get me started) and first love boyfriend drama with Roman. First two/three episodes will jump around with different locations including the school but i think by episode four they’ll all be home in new orleans (I’m predicting now Roman will die, probably similarly to Jackson in that he died because he was too close to a member of the family.)
I suspect they’ll have Hayley either go with “I never stopped loving you Elijah” or ‘learn’ to love the new Elijah, or just be plain over the battery, I’m a bit 50/50 on how quickly they’ll get his memories back. I have a feeling Elijah will have a new love interest who will fail to hold his attention once Hayley is back in his life or he gets his memories back, I suspect Hayley may also have a new LI who will have 30 seconds screentime total and will also be ditched in favour of H/E. We’ll probably learn little about what Hayley’s been doing in the past decade or so, she prolly wont have a job or have picked up a new hobby and they’ll once again make out like every waking moment was spent trying to get the mikaelsons together again and she just didn’t have timeeee for herself (or they’ll make out like she aint even bothered because that wouldn’t surprise me either with the way nobody including hayley fought to keep them all together at the end of last season)
I suspect we’ll have minimal Rebekah as per season 2/3 due to the fact Claire’s new series got picked up to order, I think we might have Kol/Davina drop in together every now and then, depending on when Danielle wants to film. (Though even if she was completely free I dont think they’d ever bring them both to mains)
I’m monumentally disappointed with the lack of flashbacks this season, I really am, but with the cut down time I suspect there’ll be the same amount in s5, then again if Klaus really does return back to how he used to be due to losing Hope (literally and figuratively), maybe we’ll get some more so they can draw comparison. Josh will probably be the same as he was this season as well, they’ll make a reminder that he has a boyfriend or something and then never show the guy again, then he’ll be used randomly as/when to fit plans. We’ll prolly have a couple of shots of Cami’s grave again so I suspect that’ll remain the same.
I predict that Rebel will have broken up by the first episode and Marcel will be back in New Orleans. (small chance they’ll break up in the first episode after realising that it just isn’t working out and they’ll make a show of Rebekah staying wherever they are at that moment and Marcel going home. I suspect Rebekah/Marcel will have been in a very tumultuous on/off again for the past 7/8 years) Rebekah will drop in when the drama starts and they need her for something, her and Marcel will gaze longingly and may have gotten it on again by the end of the season.
I suspect that Freya/Keelin will be ridiculously happy and soppy though Freya will feel guilty over how long her family have been separated. Keelin will comfort her and that will lead to more soppy stuff. The writers have made it v clear they’re all in for this relationship to be happy and not end so there’s really not that much to ‘predict’ with this one.
Hope will probably have Bonnie/Davina level powers that she’s still not got amazing amounts of control over due to the sheer level of power she has. Will probably lose control a lot.
Vincent... idk about Vincent, he’ll prolly have his own sideplot that’ll link into the main somehow. Same goes for Marcel, I dont really know where they’d go with him.
I think The Hollow plot will be solved by episode 2 and then the s5 villain will problem will take root in episode 3, like in this season just passed, where season 3′s problem was solved at the end of episode 2 and then the hollow came in and messed it up for them when they finally thought they were gonna be okay.
Klaus... I’m with everyone else they’ll probably have Klaus with an old edge to him because he’s feeling bitter that once again he’s had to give up his child in order for his family to be okay, and for all he has had growth in the past couple of years, this is klaus we’re talking about, it *will* get to him deep down that his family get to go off and basically be perfectly happy with their partners and elijah gets to unburden himself of them all but he gets jack shit and cant be with Hope once again.  But then again we were told to expect Klaus with PTSD from the dungeon and he had a total of one scene where we saw the effects of that so whoooo knows if they’ll make it effect him.
Depending on what capacity they get Candice I suspect they’ll have Caroline be the light in his life again or whatever when he can finally go near Hope again and he don’t know how to act they’ll have Caroline act like she knows her better than anyone else since she’s been her teacher (yeah the vampire teaching the witch, okay, whatever, moving on) and will help Klaus with Hope.
Ric will probably make a cameo in either the first episode or an episode later down the season.
There’ll probably be a K/D, H/E, R/M & K/C endgame. But i wouldn’t be surprised if they had it so R/M weren’t actually endgame and have them accept that they’re always gonna love each other but it’s never gonna work out.
I’ve heard talks of a Hope spinoff, and maybe there is an actual plan in JP’s head for this or maybe there isn’t, But I guarantee you that if they do a backdoor pilot (prolly where Alaric will actually enter) then it’ll flop. Theres no longer a market for that kinda show. Not a TVD meets Harry Potter meets Buffy which is how I expect they’ll try play it off. I think Hope was aged up because they had no idea what to do with a seven year old tbh, and this is the CW, so there *must* be some sort of romance with a central character. Hence Roman. I suspect Hope will be bratty and have an attitude and wont be the shy completely selfless kid we met in s4, and they’ll probably either try saying it’s her genetics or because Klaus wasn’t around enough.
(my unrealistic hopes though are hayley having an actual job and maybe going back to the pack since it was confirmed she was still living in new orleans and being an alpha and liaising with Vincent to be the head of the wolf faction again, having more flashbacks, minimal daddy issue drama with hope, more haycel/hopecel, little interference from TVD including MF, and not stringing out the elijah drama, if you’re gonna give him back his memories just doooo it don’t make it last all season, also freya getting a job might be cool, and learning vincents actual job when he’s not casting spells... you know... just saying)
I still run this blog because I’ve invested a fuckton of time into it, this blog is like my baby tbh, and I still love Hayley as a character even though I’m not okay with the show rn or tbh a lot of the way Hayley is written, she’s still a character that I very much so cannot let go of just yet. Also I found out that Carina will be a producer this year which I let fill me with a tiny bit of Hope because whilst she may not have ultimate power on the actual plot like Julie does, she’s very much so always been very pro Hayley and has always written incredible scenes for her, and has also written some very decent K/H/ scenes (whether or not she or anyone else ships them romantically, some of the best K/H scenes where they talk about Hope have been written by her)
Royal I’m assuming doesn’t care enough to give a prediction for s5 because she’s over the show, I know from speaking to her though that she’s still part of the blog because she enjoys the company (ayyyy) and has also been here from the very start and has invested a lot into it. Royal’s done a lot for the blog BTS.
And this is Sarah’s response:
My predictions for the show are pretty bleak (for me). I don't like this time jump. At all. Literally, there is not a single thing I like about it. I think they built the show on Klaus' redemption being through being a father to Hope, and yet he's spent literally less than two years actually raising her. So, what's the point of him being a father if he's not actually being a father? You providing biological material and/or money and possessions does not make you a father. He got what - two months with her where she could actually form memories and half the time he was fighting a big bad. Yes, his sacrifice was noble...I guess.
So, we're gonna get Hope with daddy issues. Which is very valid for her to have because she can't actually spend quality time with her father. And she apparently doesn't get to be raised by her mother. But that's all good because saint Caroline has a school she can attend and that's super more important than her being raised by her mother. Obviously, there's no witches in NOLA who could teach her. No witch children she could make friends with (or werewolf children for that matter). Nope. None. Not a single one. Certainly none with the last name Mikaelson. Noooooope. Can't think of a single witch who could teach her.
Also, add in the fact that the sides that were released (which I doubt will make it onto the show) have Hope completely isolated and has no friends because everyone is scared of her. But totally worth not being raised for extended amounts of time by either of her parents for her to not have friends...she gets a boyfriend though!!!!!!! And that's all that matters, right?
Basically, I think they aged up Hope because now they can push the magic school spin-off with Hope as the lead once the Originals ends. They're baiting other fans in with talk of Caroline and KC and whether they actually go through and produce either - who knows.
I think eventually they'll get back to NOLA. Hope will leave the school (since apparently she has no friends there in the first place). Her boyfriend will follow and be creepy like all the male vampires on this show. But she'll ignore it because he's dreamy and dangerous and blah blah blah. The show will continue reusing plot lines and nothing will actually ever happen or be accomplished. Somehow the Mikaelsons will put the Hollow down for good and we'll see Klaus again not knowing how to be a father/trying to make up for lost time because that's all the writers apparently know how to write. Maybe we'll get big bad Klaus again, and when he's finally reunited with Hope, he'll start his redemption arc again. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Notes to 4.19, Dr. Bogdan Krilov (rant)
- “Red vs Kaplan” 1) The story as such doesn’t make sense at all. I also don’t find it entertaining. Not even a bit.
2) Writers’ advice: Never make a likable character unlikeable (okay, they did this with almost every character on TBL), but really NEVER make your audience choose between two (former) likable characters who suddenly go against each other--for no acceptable reason. (Now you could say that there was a reason, but I’m talking about an ACCEPTABLE one. Mr. Kaplan helps Liz fake her death and flee with Tom to Cuba is not acceptable, it’s stupid.) It’s almost as deadly as writing in pets or babies that won’t suit the storyline later.
3) The story about Werner and Hans. What can I say? The abduction obviously took place somewhere in Austria or the Switzerland. It’s unlikely that the abductors took their victim to the US. It’s unlikely that Mr. Kaplan took the body to the US in order to bury it there. It’s unlikely that Mr. Kaplan drove her trailer across the Atlantic in order to collect the body. It’s unlikely that there is DNA for a body that was buried twenty-five years ago because DNA was still new back then. It’s unlikely that the FBI would be able to identify a body to which they have no DNA and that was buried twenty-five years ago somewhere in Europe.
4) James and Susan Blommaert are incredibly good actors. If the writers like Mr. Kaplan that much (for a good reason because before they made her behave stupidly and against her true character Mr. Kaplan was a great character), why couldn’t they come up with a storyline about Red and Mr. Kaplan that doesn’t involve the enmity of their characters, for God’s sake?
5) It’s a predictable storyline. Mr. Kaplan HAS to lose because TBL without Red won’t work.
- The Ressler “storyline” 1) As a Diego fan (yes, I’m saying Diego fan, not Ressler fan) I should be happy that there is a “storyline” about Ressler. Finally. But I am NOT happy. When we first met Ressler, he was the white knight of the show. As a writer, you have two choices what to do with a white knight. First, you keep him as the white knight. Second, you slowly turn the white knight into a black knight. TBL writers went with the first option, but the character is terribly written, with many inconsistencies, stupid actions, and stupid lines. In fact, it’s terrible to watch. So, I’m only trying to look at what Diego does from the scripts he’s given, but I’m unable to ignore this awkward character assassination. The white knight runs blindly into the next best trap, suffers a concussion again (remember what I said about the comments of other viewers), becomes the victim of a plan that doesn’t make the slightest sense, completely loses it, and has to be saved by the dumbest character that ever stumbled on a TV screen. If the writers wanted to destroy the only true hero the show ever had--congratulations!
2) Did Mr. Kaplan even know about the Reven Wright case? I’m not even sure if Red knows. (Yeah, yeah, Red knows everything.) And if he knew why would he bother to tell Mr. Kaplan? “Listen, Kate, it seems that Laurel Hitchin killed Reven Wright. One day, Ressler will go after her, and we’ll have to protect Hitchin.” Bullshit! Red wouldn’t care about Hitchin’s well-being. Maybe he would even protect Ressler in order to benefit from Hitchin’s fall--because then Red would finally own the Cabal. He doesn’t need Hitchin. So, Mr. Kaplan using Hitchin in order to harm Ressler doesn’t make much sense. Yeah, I know she did it in order to harm the task force, but there are many a lot easier ways to do that, ways that would also make a lot more sense.
3) The Wright-Hitchin story was the last chance to give Ressler a heroic story (and maybe a heroic death.) When they dragged it and dragged it, I lost interest in the story, and when they finally came up with it, I was prepared that it would be bad, but that was... I don’t have words for my frustration that they killed off Ressler with this story without actually killing him. He’s less than a plot device now. It would have been bad if he’d finally investigated Wright’s death and got killed by Hitchin, but I thought they would at least have the decency to have him act like an agent, investigating, coming up with a smart plan to take Hitchin down--maybe even teaming up with Red (one last James/Diego scene, just one more time!)--but Hitchin also comes up with a smart plan and kills him. I could have lived with it. Now I’m even worried that they won’t kill him at all. He’s in a promo pic for 4.22. If he doesn’t die in 4.22, he’ll simply fizzle in the background and we’ll have to watch many more stupid stories in S5 that will NOT feature Ressler but “Lizzie”, the terrible Gale character, or whatever else the disturbed brains of the writers might come up with.
- “Tough” Lizzie 1) I HATE episodes in which the writers try to make Liz look like a smart, competent bad-ass agent because they (plus Megan) always fail so terribly in doing so. It’s a mixture of the bad, inconsistent writing and Megan’s wooden acting. They give her stupid lines to say and dumb things to do, and I think I’ve never been SO stunned and distracted by her acting “skills” like in the scene with Diego and Christine Lahti. It was just getting good (despite the pointless storyline, simply because Diego and Christine are great actors), and then Megan entered the scene, with her wooden face and robotic moves, her slurring voice, and her terrible hair and ruined the dynamic, the pace, and the drama. I had the urge to take her and throw her out of the room, telling her not to interrupt when adults discuss an important issue.
2) Do you remember when we hated that the writers made every character (no matter whether it made sense or not) say that Tom was incredible? Now, they made Samar admire Liz for her incredible skills, even though Samar is the far more experienced agent. Liz even gave her orders as if she was the senior agent. *SMH*
- The memory thing 1) It’s possible to make someone believe something. He or she will remember things differently, think he or she experienced something, or believe he or she did something (bad). It’s not possible, though, to completely erase a CERTAIN memory (you can only alter it, and it takes time) or put a “film” in someone’s head just by having somebody under drugs or hypnotizing him or her. Now you can say that it is TV land. Sure, but like I said before, there is a difference between fiction that allows creativity and nonsense. The whole memory thing IS totally absurd and therefore, nonsense.
2) Why did Dr. Krilov talk about that he altered Liz’s memory TWO years ago--after she met Red for the first time? Are the writers going to tell us that the past two seasons were only a nightmare and nothing was real? Do they think it’s their way out of their mess about the past events, the night of the fire? It wouldn’t surprise me, but how could anyone take them seriously ever again? (I mean, I haven’t taken them seriously for a long time, but some people who still believe they make sense might realize that they don’t.)

March 18: Thoughts on 4x06 We Will Rise
FINALLY watched 4x06 wow I am lame at keeping up with my own fandom lol.
It was..kind of a disappointment personally. I’m sorry. I feel bad saying that. I don’t say that to bring anyone who might come across this post down. I’m not trying to be a killjoy. I’m just...left feeling very dissatisfied.
Basically my feeling is that this season has a very weird structure that seems to be based on a one step forward two steps back model. Each attempt to move forward is made allegedly dramatic through some sort of supposedly tense scenario, literally none of which has actually felt tense to me, but rather, wholly predictable from the very start. I knew that the Farm Station trip would end with destroying the generator, that the trip to the fallout shelter would not be successful, that Riley wouldn’t shoot, and that not all of the magic fuel would get to Raven from the very beginning of each respective episode, so there’s nothing really to keep me on the edge of my seat. And though at first I could sort of forgive these things--mostly because I felt like delaying obvious solutions in the early episodes would give more tension and urgency to later episodes--at this point...we’re at the later episodes, and still almost nothing has actually been accomplished. Almost nothing has actually /happened/.
I’m not saying it can’t all come together. Obviously some things are slowly crawling along, and of course there’s the possibility that old dead ends will resurrect--I noticed Jaha staring at that little medallion in this ep, for example. But...not to bring up how terrible S3 was again but with this show, at this point, I need to see it to believe it because the entire time S3 was airing, I was holding out hope that it would all come together and it never did. Once creators squander my faith in their storytelling ability like that, they need to produce at least an entire coherent season to bring it back, so it’s still too soon for me to say ‘I’m sure they’ll pull it all together eventually.’ If S4 pulls it all together and then next year S5 has some bumpy points I’ll be more forgiving. Maybe.
Also, the concept of going back to space, either in the long term like the spoiler-based speculation suggests, or even just in the short term like the current canon is suggesting, just...I cannot take it seriously. I’m sorry, but I just...every time I hear ‘Raven and my mom are going into space’ or ‘you could land your space ship in the ocean’ or anything in that vein I just...it’s like they’re saying “our plan is to ride a pegicorn across the rainbow to New Jersey to get the magic potion from Raul.” Like that’s how ridiculous it sounds. It takes me totally out of the story and literally all I can think is “this is some dumb shit.” Maybe it’s unfair that I’m willing to suspend disbelief when it comes to the various ways the Sky People came down from space, or the way the Mountain cured radiation with blood and bone marrow all willy-nilly, or even with the general idea of a VR even if the execution was bad, but I’m not willing to go along with this. I can’t explain why this is the line but for me, it is.
In terms of the individual story lines...
I have a lot of super duper unpopular opinions about the Arkadia/Ilian stuff, which I’m nervous to put out here even in this little deserted corner of tumblr. Basically...I agree that Kane can’t let mob rule go unchecked in Arkadia, like that would pose a general danger way worse than the danger to any one individual’s life. And I also get that, even though I don’t personally care about Octavia (I just find her irritating when she’s on screen and forgettable when she’s not), she had to have some sort of moment like the almost-execution one here to help her get past her rage. But generally speaking I was rather on the side of the mob. Not in their capacity as a mob but in the sense that I think Arkadia as an independent community would be totally in the right to execute Ilian if it wanted to. He came in and destroyed their home, and while he might not have done it with the full understanding of the consequences of his actions...he still did it and he did it on purpose. He could easily have killed people and it’s just dumb luck he didn’t. And even if this wasn’t an end of the world scenario he still took out their electricity, their water, and half their living space so like that’s some for-serious damage. Papa Miller was right: they’ve killed for less on the Ark and you know who else kills for less? Um, the Grounders. Literally everyone kills for less so why does the mob get so little sympathy in this narrative? Don’t get me wrong IRL I’m deeply anti-capital punishment but playing by the rules of this fictional world yeah, kill him, that’s what you get when you commit crimes on that scale. (Also ILY Monty but the Murphy comparison was only half-right because while it was a good example of a Mob being Dangerous...Murphy was innocent and must I point out yet again that Ilian was not??)
Oh also how fucking dumb are the Arkadians? Kane screams black rain and they all run inside AND IT’S NOT EVEN RAINING I mean what fucking dumbasses.
The Bellarke and Roan mission was in general pretty boring because as I said, I knew they weren’t going to get all of the magic fuel to Raven because duh that’s the exact same formula ever single episode this season has followed I mean you don’t need to be a rocket scientist to have seen that one coming based on, like, the trailer from two weeks ago. BORING.
But I will say: the scene where Clarke stops the cargo truck within like an inch of the Rover was cool (the rest was a little overdone imo I mean Roan slow-mo jumping onto the cargo bed wtf was that necessary?). And I loved their almost-love confession. Because we all know that’s what that was.
I will say though... it’s a little frustrating to me that the relationships on this show broadly speaking get like 5 minutes total in every episode and the other 37 minutes are spent on these scenes that are allegedly plot based but actually, as I said above, do literally nothing to advance the plot. I mean... I get it I’m not watching a soap opera but my point is...maybe it would be better if I were? I feel like we get a little scene here and a little scene there to explore how people feel about each other in the broad sense and those scenes are nice but like...imo they are by far the strongest scenes and they’re no more than scraps. I want more of Kane hugging Clarke and Monty being concerned about Jasper and Jaha interacting with anyone and Luna and Murphy talking morality and guilt and ALL OF THAT. And less fucking fight scenes and death scenes and car chases and arrow throwing and gun fighting like when you’ve seen one of those scenes you’ve seen literally a million. It’s the relationships between people that are complex and interesting and multi-faceted and that are always changing and evolving. I said this in early S3 and I’m going to say it again now: The 100 is afraid of talking about feelings. They like Big Plot, they like war scenes and rescue missions and the end of the world shit because that allows them to push off feelings for another day. If the warrior doesn’t mourn until the war is done, and the war is never done, the warrior never really needs to mourn. Because feelings are so much harder to unwrap than fight scenes are to choreograph.
I liked the Raven/Murphy/Luna scenes the best but I can’t even be fully upbeat about this because (as my mom said but I 100% agree) that clean shiny white lab set is pretty and all but it just doesn’t work with the aesthetic of the rest of the show, it just feels WEIRD; and because, as I said above, the space/pegicorn story line is grade A nonsense; and because I still find it off putting how we know there are 6 people in the lab but we only ever see like 3 at a time, it’s so fake. That being said I still love Raven, she can do no wrong, and I also like Murphy interacting with people who aren’t his clone Emori.

Orange Color/Banners in D.C.
Tumblr media
Okay, this Ask has been in my inbox a LONG time. I’m sorry it’s taken me so long to get to it. I’m going to go relatively simply on the explanation here. Trust me, some of my fellow theorists could give you a LOT more detail on these colors (*coughs @wdway*) but I just want to give you an idea of why the answer is yes, we definitely think these colors were picked purposely and mean something.
First let me say, Nonny, that your observations her are stellar. I love especially what you said about Anne/Jadis and the fine arts banner. Because a few episodes later, we saw her doing a great deal of art in painting pictures for people. Just another way to show that these things are put in purposely and always fulfilled.
As you say, Michonne looks at political posters. Later we saw her drafting a charter, and then of course leading when Rick left. So it works all the way around.
Tumblr media
About Daryl and the sun/fire thing? I also noticed that next to it are some things about native American culture. That really caught my attention because the only other place we’ve heard native American culture specifically mentioned on the show was with Creepy Wolf Dude and Morgan in 5x16. That makes me think the wolves might show up again this season somehow. I’ll get into some brainstorming about how that may happen below.
Tumblr media
*Disclaimer: this is one of those posts where I brainstorm possible outcomes and predictions. Keep in mind that I may simply end up being wrong about them, so take everything with a grain of salt.*
I won’t go too much into blue and green colors/banners. We’ve seen those colors around Beth a lot and I think we’ve kinda beaten them to death. Green generally symbolizes life, progress, and even resurrection. We believe blue generally represents imprisonment, though by itself it can mean other things as well. For more color-centered theories, click HERE.
Let’s focus on the orange/bronze/copper banner. The short of it is that we totally think the orange (I’ll just call it orange for short, though depending on lighting and filters in any given scene it can look a bit different) is related to Beth. I’ll show you how/why we think so through many different scenes we can associate this specific color with.
Let me say that most of these examples were furnished @wdway, who did most of the detective work. She theorized that maybe the color represented something the person associated with the color had lost. I think that’s a very viable theory.
For me, though, I think the orange represents leadership. Perhaps it even shows who will be leading when Beth returns. Let me illustrate.
Tumblr media
Let’s start with the banner. It says “happy accidents” and has an eye on it. That eye immediately reminded us of one specific character  and even Happy Accidents kinda sounds like a way of explaining how/why Beth survived.
Tumblr media
So why, aside from the banner, do we associate this color with her?
The copper color can be seen on Beth’s knife here in this shot and obviously knife = Beth.
Tumblr media
Then check out the pants on this walker that TD instantly knew represented Beth (which was confirmed in the S5 DVD commentary, btw). The pants are kind of a copper-ish color.
Tumblr media
Both these things are obvious symbols of Beth, and it works with my leadership theory, because we’ve always known, because of the sheriff hat/”new sheriff in town” line, that Beth would return as a leader.
Another major orange/bronze/copper symbol we’ve seen all the way since S3 is the orange backpack. Michonne, Rick and Carl first picked it up back in 3x12, Clear, which was where they also found Morgan. I don’t think the Morgan angle is a coincidence, but I’ll come back to that.
We’ve seen this pack back through a lot of different story lines and with different characters.
Tumblr media
Another big story line that included this color and the back pack was Denise’s. We see her with the bag in this shot and the main reason I think they included it is because she’s such a huge Beth proxy.
Also remember that we had the orange soda around Denise. But the interesting things is that, while we did see her get a can out of the small blue cooler right before she died, we never actually saw her drink it. It was talked about around her a lot, and associated with her, but we didn’t actually see her with it very much. The only people we actually saw drink it was Rick and Daryl.
Tumblr media
So I’m thinking the main reason it was associated with Denise is no because Denise would be a leader (because she really wasn’t) but rather because she was such a heavy Beth proxy, and Beth will be the leader. See what I mean?
Michonne’s shirt here.
Tumblr media
You may wonder why we see the color here and on Michonne. Neither she nor the situation seem to have any ties to Beth, but I think they do. Remember that she did have some important scenes with Beth and Judith in 4a.
I think it’s important that they just ran into the Saviors here, which will lead to Negan. There was a lot of Beth symbolism present when TF first met up with the Saviors. It was in 6x09, 6x12, 6x13. You name it. And I think that’s because the Saviors = Negan and Beth’s arc is tied up with Negan.
So there’s that. But I also can’t help but notice that Michonne is wearing this orange color here, but no one else is. Glenn isn’t. Heath isn’t. Tara isn’t. Not even Rick is. So I’m thinking this was to show that Michonne would be leading Alexandria when Beth shows up. (See how that works out so nicely?)
Tumblr media
In S6, we also saw the copper color on the horse Morgan rides. Two reasons this is important. 1) This is the WHITE horse (horse theory) that Morgan finds next to the sign that says “You’re still alive.” So we’ve always associated this horse with Beth. Then there’s the Morgan angle. Even though Morgan seems to have his own deal on FTWD, his symbolism is still very entangled with Beth.
So on the Morgan angle, I still think he’s tied up in Beth’s return somehow. There are just too many open ended things that point to it. No idea how it will all work out, but there’s the stuff on Fear, this orange stuff, the horse stuff, the fact that he was spotted at the cabin Emily filmed at in S5. All this stuff has to come together at some point, and Morgan’s all tied up in it somehow.
In 6x16, we also see the orange/copper color on the library.
Tumblr media
The whole library/librarian thing was always very weird to me. It was just so random and they didn’t do much with it. Just felt very unnecessary to me. And what does that usually mean in this show? *symbolism*
So we have no idea at this point what’s up with the librarian group or how things will play out, but I do think it foreshadowed something. I’m not even sure exactly what, but I’m thinking that the librarian group was kind of a link or bridge between two groups. In 6x16, TF was about to come face to face with Negan and the Saviors. Meanwhile, the Saviors were busy teaching another group a lesson. So maybe that foreshadows something to come. Like maybe TF will be dealing with the Whisperers, but there will be another, adjacent group also having dealings with the Whisperers (the Wolves maybe?) and Beth will arrive with them.
Even the Xs here were orange and X = Beth. (X Theory)
Tumblr media
Again, just spit-balling here because we have no idea how things will play out. But with all the orange around this group, to me it kind of suggests a group Beth may arrive with. I think it’s one of those things that will make WAY more sense when it actually happens.
We also saw this orange/copper color on Daryl’s shirt at the Sanctuary.
Tumblr media
Again, I think this could be a leadership thing, showing that eventually he’ll lead, and probably during a time when the Saviors are still involved in the story line. And low and behold, at the beginning of S9, he actually led the Sanctuary.
And for anyone who watches Fear, we saw this color a bit in this past season, S4, in which we also saw a CRAP TON of Beth symbolism and proxyness, especially with John and June.
So what does it all mean? I think the orange around Michonne points to her being the leader when Beth arrives. I think the others heavily associated around it (Rick and Daryl drinking the soda, the orange on Daryl’s shirt at Sanctuary) showed that they will be leaders. Rick already was, of course, Michonne is also obvious now in S9. I know Daryl only led Sanctuary briefly at the beginning of S9, but I’ll give you a very vague spoiler to say that spoilers report that Daryl will lead again somewhat in 9b. If the orange points to who, specifically, will be in leadership positions when Beth arrives, that means everything is in place for her arrival in 9b. *fingers crossed*
As an aside, I even thought about Carol when putting this together. Why haven’t we seen orange prominently around her? Well, we SORT OF did, because she was at the library with Morgan. So that might point to her leading at the Kingdom when Beth arrives. But at the same time, she’s also not the SOLE leader of the Kingdom. Between the two of them, he’s still more the leader than she is. Perhaps at some point in the show, he’ll die and she’ll take over as sole leader, but even if that’s the case, I don’t think it will happen until after Beth’s return. So I think it works either way.
Tumblr media
So yeah. I think that’s what I have on the orange banner. And if we’re right about it being tied to Beth, well, we saw this banner in the first episode of the season, which points to what will happen the rest of the season. That does suggest that we’ll see her in S9. Here’s hoping I’m right about that! ;D Thoughts?
