Do you know of a post, I had thought maybe it was of your art for a fic, that martin grabs something or another by the balls as said in a comic format. And its sci-fi genre possibly?? Martin and jon and some other bloke in a box and theres a fic attached to the post of martin making a faux pas. I am terribly sorry if Ive gone and spun up the artist all wrong. I am also a bit frantic. Apologies.

i definitely saw the same scene drawn by another artist too but i couldnt find it but i think this is what youre talking about

Encounter location: Northern Hallowoods mires and lakes

Description: An amphibious revenant who tells me he grew his frills, gills, and fins after an unfortunate run-in with the black water as a child (see: Big Mikey). It appears the moss came later. Actually quite amicable beneath the understandable resentment at his situation and a sad layer of self-disgust.

Abilities: Uses his initially formidable appearance, brawn, and semi-aquatic abilities to steal trinkets from passing travelers. Denies drownings--I suspect this might not be true. I have not pushed the matter. Says he’ll teach me how to play cards properly one day. Also good with a spear.

Connections: Currently under the employment of Barbatos at the Resting Place after the devil cheated him into service. I have been thoroughly warned about the clientele at this establishment.

Reminder: I have offered my cabin up the Shuddering Peaks as shelter for Ricou should he make it out of Barbatos’s contract. I really hope he does.

The Magnus Institute is an astronautical vessel tasked with the mission of locating and investigating a string of previously untouched planets for potential human habitation. Led by a newly replaced computer system, The Archivist 2.0, the crew are woken up from centuries of sleep to research a new planetoid-mass. But will Archival Assistant Martin Blackwood and the other crew members find more questions than answers on the planet's surface? And why does the computer's voice make him feel like that?

8 chapters (out of 10), 56,000 words.

assumes knowledge of characters through s4, but doesn’t really spoil anything. Such is the nature of AUs.

lots of cw, but the author’s great about listing them at the beginning of each chapter, so I’ll leave this one to them. It’s mostly just canon-typical body horror, and in chapter five, some sex-adjacent incidents.

arc!! you’re a key worker in a time of international crisis, it would be weirder if you were 100% fine and working long and stressful night shifts and then churning out 10000-15000 words of insanely good fic. part of what makes your writing so incredible is the level of fine detail in your stories and that obviously takes a lot of research and a clear mind to cast it down onto the page. you’re doing a 100/10 job at the moment and you should put yourself and your health first, people will (cont) come running to read your stuff whenever it’s ready to be read and the fic will come flowing out of you when it’s time, I’m sure!! tldr: you’re great, don’t beat yourself up!!!!

i’m gonna cry

thank you..... i know all that stuff, but i just want to make good stuff for people to enjoy, and it’s so hard now. i have three docs open but it’s like.... 200 words a day in a different one each time.

thanks for being kind about it. i still hope to wrap up something soon.

"Oh, now you care about what's appropriate or not?"

"What's that supposed to mean? And anyway, now suddenly you don't?"

"N-no-- that's not--" Jon drops his head into his hands before looking back up at Tim. How is it only sometime after lunch? He feels so exhausted. It must be near the time Martin usually brings him tea, Jon thinks idly before bringing his attention back to the immediate problem. "I'm sorry, Tim, but Martin is a consenting adult and I'm not backing down from this. I asked, and he accepted. Which. Sounds… yeah. But believe me when I say I would never abuse any sort of power I have over him as his supervisor. It's not like--like we're…." Jon throws up a hand. "--dating or anything anyway! He's just helping me watch something."

"Right. Something. And that something happens to be…"

"Thank you for sharing your concerns with me Tim," Jon says crisply, with finality, "but I think both Martin and I will be fine. This--This is a good thing, for all of us. I think. I hope."

OH what can i say about this fic? it just blew me away when i first read it! it the archives but in SPACE and it has JON AS AN AI, it has really good horror and a wonderfully written slow burn.

it made me feel MANY EMOTIONS and im still compromised by it! when the chapters were updating i was as excited about it as i got by tma episode updates, its JUST THAT GOOD
