I met you in the evanescent of summer

Under full moon, the way our eyes met

Your gaze gave me the meaning to the nostalgia I've been feeling unknowingly

The lilt of your voice and serene of your presence is a bliss

Middle of the winter....on a cozy november night

You held me so close to you, so close to your heart

As you hug me from behind followed by the sweet smiley kiss on my cheek, oh how much I'd have wanted it to be like this forever

On the wedding day, the minute our lips met felt like moiety that just found its other halfs

Inner Conflict

Right now, I am torn between the dreams I have for myself and the real world.

The real world is harsh and cold, ready to consume you and your dreams when you realize every attempt you make in it is insignificant.

But dreams carry me forward, telling me to pursue my life’s meaning.

At the same time, I cannot advance to my dreams without the world. The world provides me an education so I can move on in life. But every minute I spend working toward that dream is a part of life I won’t have back.

It’s cruel and everyone knows that. At some point, everyone has been here, or will be here. Maybe I haven’t even experienced the full extent of it. I’m just not sure. There is a part of me that wants to break free and do what I desire, but I won’t get far without my education.

I guess it’s time for me to grow up.

Funny, I told myself that two weeks ago...
