"YOU WHAT!?" wonhee exclaimed in shock as you disclosed your invitation to a party.

"keep your voice down, wonhee! mom's going to freak if she finds out..." you attempted to placate your sister, but she darted off to inform your mom nonetheless.

"MOMMY~! Y/N's BEEN INVITED TO A PARTY!" her shrill voice pierced through the house, summoning both your parents to sprint up the stairs with remarkable speed.

"Y/N's WHAT? oh, my baby, i'm so proud of you! your first-ever party since wonhee's 6th birthday," your mom exclaimed, feigning to wipe away a fake tear.

"my Y/N-nie has grown so much! she's even invited to a grown-up party," your dad chimed in, aggravating you further.

"guys, i'm capable of socializing," you huffed, eliciting peculiar glances from your family.

"yeah, sure," wonhee rolled her eyes. "let's pick you an outfit!" she giggled as she whisked you towards your wardrobe, but as soon as she swung it open, her complexion paled.

"mom..." she turned to your mother. "she has no clothes," wonhee lamented, rushing into your mom's embrace, which sparked laughter from your parents. however, you remained unimpressed.

"Y/N darling, borrow some clothes from wonhee. i'm sure you guys are the same size. your dad and i will be downstairs; don't forget to show us your outfit when you're done!" your mom suggested before departing with your dad, leaving you and your sister to retreat to her room.

"wonhee, it's not a big deal. i can just wear one of my dresses," you sighed as she began rummaging through her extensive wardrobe.

"one of your dresses, meaning your nun ones? nu-uh! it's the golden trio's first party of the semester; you have to look smoking hot." you resigned yourself to her insistence as she presented her options.

the first was overly provocative: a white corset top that accentuated your bust paired with a short silver sequin skirt that left little to the imagination. the second offered no breathing room with a tight bralette and the shortest shorts imaginable. seeing your discontent, wonhee grew frustrated. "my dear sister, what do YOU want to wear?"

you scanned her closet before fixing your gaze on a white mini dress. "what about that one?" you suggested.

wonhee eagerly handed it to you, urging you to try it on. surprisingly, you liked it. the dress hugged your curves flawlessly, falling just below your hips, revealing just a hint of your chest and back.

"you look amazing! i think some steve madden heels would complement it perfectly, along with accessories, of course. sit, i'll do your makeup." and so, you entrusted her with the task. your makeup turned out splendidly, the curls in your hair completing the ensemble. somehow, you found yourself enjoying this impromptu makeover.

"come on, let's show mom and dad how stunning you look," wonhee exclaimed, handing you a purse to match your outfit as you descended the staircase with confidence. as expected, your parents adored your look, though your dad found it slightly excessive, relenting under the persuasion of your mom and sister.

after wonhee finished preparing for her sleepover, your dad chauffeured you both to your respective destinations. upon dropping off wonhee, he parked outside the house where the party was hosted, a few blocks away. glancing at the time—7:32—you straightened your dress before making your way to the front door and ringing the bell.

“who are—OH hi, Y/N!” sunghoon said before welcoming you in, guiding you inside.

you gave your dad one last look before going inside the house, suddenly engulfed by loud music, the smell of cigarettes hitting your nose, and the flashing lights blinding your eyes.

“make yourself at home. we have drinks, snacks, bedrooms are upstairs, don’t use my parents’ one though. aaaaand, jay’s there.” he pointed towards the boy clad in a basketball jersey with loose pants. even with his simple look, jay looked somewhat…attractive.

“Y/N! you made it.” jay beamed at your presence, welcoming you with a warm hug.

you froze upon his friendly action. hesitantly, you pulled away as soon as you got stuffy. “yeah, wouldn’t miss it..” you mumbled.

“come on, i’ll introduce you to some people,” jay offered, leading you through the crowded living room. you noticed several familiar faces from school, but also a few you didn’t recognize.

as you followed jay, he guided you to a group gathered around a table. “everyone, this is Y/N,” jay announced, drawing curious glances from the group.

“hey, Y/N! i’m jake,” one of the guys said, giving you a friendly smile, you just nodded as a response.

“alright, that’s all! let’s get you a drink,” jay suggested, steering you towards the kitchen. the counters were lined with an assortment of bottles and cups. “what would you like? we have punch, soda, and…other stuff,” he said while pointing towards the big selection.

“i’ll just have some punch,” you decided, not wanting to dive into the harder stuff just yet. jay handed you a cup, and you took a cautious sip. it was fruity and sweet, with just a hint of something stronger.

“thanks..” you said, taking another sip and looking around. the music was loud, and people were dancing in the living room. the atmosphere was lively, but you started to feel a bit overwhelmed.

“do you mind if i take a breather for awhile? i’m not into this crowd..” you admitted, feeling a bit embarrassed.

“of course, let’s head up to my room. it’s quieter there,” jay said, guiding you up the stairs. you passed by other partygoers, but the noise started to fade as you reached the second floor. jay led you to his room and opened the door, revealing a cozy space with posters on the walls and a neatly made bed.

“make yourself comfortable,” he said, closing the door behind you. you sat on the bed, feeling the tension in your shoulders start to ease.

“i presume you must be close to sunghoon, seeing that you practically have a room here.” you confessed, looking around his room.

“i guess. i stay at his house most of the time, at least when it’s too noisy in my house.” he shrugs.

“oh.. what’s causing the noise in your house?” you asked as you took a seat on his bed.

he looked at you reluctantly before answering, knowing that for his plan to work, he needed to open up to you.

“it’s my parents. they.. they.. keep fighting. it’s like, if you’re so prone with each other, why not get a divorce? but then what would be of me.”

what came out of his mouth was unexpected. how come, the “perfect” boy at decelis high, turned out to be someone with these problems.

“hey, it’s not your fault.” you say, as you struggle to find the words to comfort him.

“thanks Y/N.” he offered you a tight smile.

as the conversation continued, you felt more at ease. jay was easy to talk to, and he made you feel seen. after a while, you noticed a bottle of whiskey on his dresser.

“mind if i have some of that?” you asked, nodding towards the bottle.

jay hesitated. “are you sure? it’s pretty strong.”

“yeah, just a little,” you insisted, needing something to take the edge off. jay poured a small amount into a cup and handed it to you. you took a sip, feeling the burn as it went down.

before you knew it, one sip turned into several, and you felt yourself getting tipsy. jay noticed and gently took the cup from you.

“hey, i think you’ve had enough,” he said, his voice filled with concern.

“maybe you’re right,” you slurred, giggling. “i’ve never drank before.”

“yeah, i can tell,” jay said with a chuckle. “come on, let’s get you home.”

he helped you to your feet, supporting you as you stumbled. “wait, i need your address. can you tell me where you live, Y/N?” he asked you but realized that you’re too drunk to make of anything, so he took the liberty of calling your sibling.

wonhee’s number wasn’t hard to find as you saved her number “wonhee my little sister” and she was on the top of your call list.

��hey, wonhee, it’s jay. Y/N’s had a bit too much to drink. can you give me your address so i can take her home?” he listened for a moment, then nodded, not knowing that on the other side of the phone is a teenager who is so ready to hear what happened between the most popular boy and her nerdy sister.

jay carefully guided you down the stairs and out to his car. he buckled you in and started the engine, driving carefully to your house. when you arrived, he helped you up the steps and rang the doorbell.

your parents answered, their expressions shifting from worry to relief when they saw you with jay.

“thank you so much for bringing her home,” your mom said, guiding you inside.

“it’s no problem. i wanted to make sure she got home safe,” jay replied.

“would you like to stay the night? it’s late, and we have a guest room.”

The first time you met Chanelle, you instantly concluded that she gave off puppy vibes. It was a mixture of the way she would smile at the smallest things, get excited at the mention of barbecue, and even when she’d literally stand there doing nothing.

She was absolutely adorable and there was no way you couldn’t fall for her. Luckily, she fell for you too.

And her puppy personality grew bigger when you two made it official before R U Next aired. The others agreed it was a risky move, but the more they saw you two together, the more they started to support.

You and the other contestants were lucky enough to be given a break from all the cameras and practices so you all spent the day off by shopping.

You even matched outfits with your girlfriend. Chanelle didn’t need to be told twice when you organised the clothes on her bed.

You two separated from the group for a little while so you could snap pictures on your camera but you could feel a pair of eyes staring into your soul.

Taking one more picture, you looked to your side and saw your girlfriend looking down at you with sparkling eyes. She had a mask on but you could tell she was smiling wider than ever.

“What are you smiling at, Ms Moon?” You teased.

She wrapped an arm around your waist. “I’m a lucky woman”

You giggled at her words. “Stop, I’ll melt”

Chanelle’s smile never left and you decided to start showing her all the aesthetic photos you’ve taken so far, but you were confused by the sudden silence. That’s when you noticed your girlfriend wasn’t by your side anymore.

“Nelle?” You called while looking around.

But you spotted her in the distance in front of an ice cream truck. She turned to you and yelled. “Babe, ice cream!! They have mint choco flavour!!”

Her loud voice caught the attention of some others who were walking by. You scratched your head and slowly made your way to your excited girlfriend.

“I was tryna show you my photos but you run away for some ice cream?” You questioned her.

“Yes” she simply answered and turned to the ice cream man. “Two mint choco ice creams please, sir” she ordered cutely and tapped her card to pay.

Within seconds of waiting, the ice creams arrived and she handed a cone to you. “For you, m’lady”

“Thank you, baby. Now back to the photos, there’s this really cool one I took of Soyeon and Wonhee” You started to speak and scrolled through your camera gallery but again, Chanelle disappeared.

Releasing a deep sigh, you licked your ice cream and found your girlfriend looking at a candy store from the outside. If she was a real dog, that tail would’ve been wagging like a helicopter.

“Babe, babe look! Candy!! Sour patch kids!!”

“There you guys are! Thought you left us” Hyewon appeared with the rest of the group.

“Where’s Chanelle?” Jiwoo asked since you’re usually together with the American girl.

You continued licking your ice cream as you pointed to where the candy store was and your overly hyped girlfriend running back and forth to look at the displays.

“Babe, your favourite candy is here!! There’s a little train too!”

Her excitement made the rest of the girls laugh.

“She’s like a soft marshmallow. Can’t imagine her being the total opposite” Haseul commented with a smile.

The others nodded in agreement. You didn’t though, because only you knew how Chanelle was really like behind that puppy behaviour.

“Does that feel good, Princess?” She whispered in your ear with a deep voice.

She had you pinned against the bathroom wall, 2 fingers plunging deep inside your needy hole at a rough pace. Her lips attacked your neck with as many hickies she could give, not caring that you had to film for the show the next day.

Your face went red at the thought.

“I do, but let’s do it in a place that’s not a bathroom, yeah?” She smirked.

because illit has been accessed of copying newjeans and I had this very... humourous imagination of them awkwardly standing in the lift not looking at each other 💀

vol. 1.2: newjeans&i'll-it's feelings about the situation in hybe

Everyone in NewJeans are feeling really messy, to be honest.

Minji is trying to fight with her actual feelings (which are, with one word, mess) and get over this situation. She's trying to work for the group's comeback to move on and be at least neutral, she doesn't know either. She's really a mess.

Hanni on the other hand is the most positive about all of this out of NewJeans. Although also passive, Hanni is trying to be positive. "They're thinking about how NewJeans will be more successful, right?" (that's what I felt she is saying) But honestly, she cannot help but to try to be patient. She tries, but with the time she might become more pessimistic..

Danielle is THE WHOLE OPPOSITE. I sense now that she's more chaotic than the other members, and not only that. Her optimism fell down waaaay quickier than she has, i don't know, expected? In seconds she became way sadder, way dull.. She's broken down into pieces. Like the smallest I've ever seen, you know? She's really.. broken. Out of everyone in NewJeans, she accepts this very extreme, very deep and is afraid for the worst to happen.

Haerin would prefer to rest and not think about it. With very passive thoughts, she might want to take a hiatus because of her mentality, she tries to make the next move that will be more beneficial for herself but she seems to be.. stuck. She doesn't knwo what to think.

Hyein is with neutral thoughts too, but a bit more optimistic. She hopes everything will be okay despite that she's injured.

I'LL-IT on the other hand aren't fully aware of what's going on.. or aren't aware at all.

Yunah excepted something to happen but not in this way. She tries to go through her journey as an I'LL-IT member despite everything.

Minju's aware of everything THE MOST. "Oh, Min Heejin's just jelaous!" "Oh, NewJeans are just the demo version of us!" might be things that she's thinking. Minji seems to go into .. a chaotic phase where she doesn't feel herself at all and tries to blame everything on other people who aren't at fault at all that aren't in BELIFT instead of her company or the corporation as a whole. Deep inside, she is mad and tries to not act bratty in front of everyone because she is aware she'll make everything worse. I see Minju is pissed.

Moka is thinking in the most balanced way out of everyone. It's similar to Yunah in the way she expected something to happen, but it's like "I expected to happen exactly like that, but I thought it will be even worse", like she saw the future or knows the body language TOO WELL despite of her age. Similar to Soobin, I believe so.

Wonhee is a knife with 2 blades - positively, negatively, how to see it through? It's just really hard. With these cards that all 3 of them (3 of wands, knight of swords + 7 of cups in the bottom) can be accepted either positively or negatively and not in between, i'll rely on my intuition this time. She is also aware of everything but tries to be chill. She WANTS TO LEAVE THE GROUP. If Haerin tries to make a step that will be the most beneficial step for herself, Wonhee wants to leave the industry altogether. This, for Wonhee at least, CHANGES EVERYTHING. She wasn't aware at all about the copying and everything else. She felt she was scammed, tricked, whatever. She wants to be free. Now, she understands Youngseo the most and why she left. She just wished to do the same as her when they hadn't debuted.

Iroha is trying to move on and is pretty much neutral. She sees it as some business type of issue between a few older people who control everything in the company and is just unaware. She tries to see it on a surface level because she doesn't understand what's going on.

About the conflict, I did separate post because this post will become too long. It's somewhere in the emoji hashtag (the one with the honey and the bee).

Yunah would have the potential, and I think that there would be a lot of people who would like her, but because of the high priestess that is reversed, which is also followed by the Ten of Wands I wouldn't say that she would be fine. The fame would eat her up, and it would be more like a burden. She wouldn't be able to handle all the fame. She wouldn't really feel that good.

2. Wonhee

Knight of Swords R, The Devil, Nine of Cups, The Magician

Wonhee seems to not have much of a potential, as of now! I know the devil came out, but the following cards were more positive. Therefore, I'd say that at the start, it would be hard for her to even be in the industry. I also think she will be more for herself at first, but after that time, I think she will be more stable and able to learn. From then on, she could be able to thrive and have a bigger potential of becoming an it girl.

3. Minju

Eight of Swords R, The Devil R, Six of Wands R

Minju would have to be more open and go through a change for the industry to notice her. But even then, she wouldn't reach a big potential or that kind of level to be known as an it girl.

4. Moka

Ace of Swords R, Knight of Swords R, Five of Swords R

I don't see much for her. She would have to be more open and more 'important'. She would have to make people interested in her. Moka would have to be more 'available' (?). I don't see a potential in her. Her situation is kinda like Minjus.

5. Iroha

The Sun R, The World R, The Hermit R

The cards for Iroha look very unpleasant. As of now, her potential is the worst in I'll It. She will feel or already feels very lost in the industry. I think it's just not how she imagined it to be. I also think that the industry won't go easy on her. It will be very depressing for her.

Wonhee: Queen of Swords rev, The Star rev, King of Wands, Ace of Wands

Other contestants: The Hanged Man, 10 of Swords, Queen of Wands, Ace of Pentacles rev, The Moon, 5 of Cups, 10 of Pentacles, 6 of Swords, 8 of Cups, 2 of swords, 3 of Pentacles.

Man, the energy is so heavy and painful. So from Wonhee's side she may have wanted to join the industry and stuff but maybe for the aesthetic? I'm getting "playground" so the cards are hinting her family could get her anywhere and she probably wanted to debut for the aesthetic part of the industry but when she was on the show and facing criticism she was like "oh this isn't what I imagined it to be?". For the other trainees man, the energy is very sad. Especially for the older contestants. The favouritism may have even been too much which may have led some to even want to leave (I was thinking about Chanelle here, Iris too)? Others got very unmotivated by it and felt sad that their background couldn't help them. It probably caused issues in the dynamic, whenever I see them being so nice to Wonhee it makes me second guess things (I'm NOT saying that all of them hate her or something, I'm saying that a lot of what you see isn't really real). Especially the foreign contestants, they seems to have felt frustrated by it. A lot of them feel stabbed in the back, as this was supposed to be a chance but they were ruled out to begin with.

alrighty so i started watching R U Next lol. i think an elimination has happened already? so eliminated trainees might be on here, idk anything about what happens later in the show and this top 6 is based solely on who caught my eye most during auditions.

IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER:

Moa: personalityyyy slay. she’s also giving rapper / all rounder vibes? which i love

Ruka: she seems so sweet omg, also she was almost a le sserafim girl and seeing how close she was to achieving her dreams made me wanna root for her and see those dreams come true here

Yunah: I mean mama look at the material. this is our centerrrr

Wonhee: she really grabbed my attention immediately. I initially wrote off this whole audition team as too young, but ugh she’d make such a fantastic maknae and she’s so charismatic! Her eyes are gorgeous. I’m a little hesitant about rooting for her because she’s only sixteen, which is on the cusp of being too young for me to wanna support her debut, but I also stan groups with members her age so like the line is rlly blurred yknow. If they’re ready depends from person to person at 16/17 imo.

Chanelle: oomf has PIPES lol. But genuinely, she’s really good and another fun personality. I love her smile

Jiwoo: lit rally leader nim like she clearly cared about the other girls’ well being in her team and supported them so much and that was just in AUDITIONS just imagine what she’d be like for her members. like thats motherrrr

"In, you should be ready in 30 minutes. Did you already do your vocal warm ups?" asked the brunette manager, Wonhee.

"Yes, I did," replied In.

Jae In. One of the most well known musical actresses in the country. She's highly recognise for her excellent singing skills and acting skills especially when given the demure, kind hearted roles. However, despite the kind hearted roles she gets, she's actually a cold hearted woman. No, she's not the typical "you should worship me" type of mean but the "leave me alone because I don't need you here" type of mean.

Sure, she received numbers of news and complaints about it but does she care? No, she doesn't. Loved by the audience, hated by the cast. That's her status. She would get offers of roles having love interests to which she would decline.

Love?

It disgusts her. She never like the idea of love. She rarely heard it unless it's from the critics, fans or two of her only friends.

Yoo Wonhee. Her manager.

Lee MinOk. Her personal stylist.

They were her safety blanket. The sight of them keeps her from the worries that would corrupt her before performing. They were the ones who would sweep off the dirty negativity in her mind. Imagining the world without them scared her.

"Innie..."

The young actress snapped out of her thoughts as she felt a tight squeeze on her shoulder, only to look at the owner of the hand. MinOk is known for her gothic or grudgy persona but her real personality is far from the image she's known of.

In squeezed the stylist's hand as a sign of thank you. MinOk knew that it would take a miracle for In to smile. She knew In disliked everything about her. She even hates her name for goodness sake. Having to hate everything about her gave her no reason to smile.

"You have 20 minutes, better go up there quick, " said Wonhee.

In stands up, fixes herself, did a final warm up and took a deep breath. She looked at the two girls and thanked them before proceeding to the stage.

Now life has killed the dream

I dreamed

The man's eyes glistened with tears as the woman on stage slowly ended the song. He has always admired her. His members know it. Even his family knows that he's such a sucker for this girl. Watching musicals was one of his stress relievers. Members would jokingly call him out whenever he would sing too loudly in his room.

He used to watch her shows with his parents but when trainee days came, he missed every show she was on. Idol days came, he would invite the other members but they weren't enthusiastic as he was.

He wiped his tears as the musical went on. Making him forget the stress he went through. The worries he had for the past months are now washed away.

"Jae In as Fantine!"

The actress gave the audience a small smile as she went to the center to take a bow. Smiling was always a struggle to her. She never had solid reasons to smile yet it was required especially in the curtain call.

After the curtain call, she said her "goodbyes" to the cast then quickly went back to her dressing room.

"You did great!!"

Wonhee and Minok rushed to hug her not expecting much reaction but their hearts went warm when they felt her arms tried to wrap around them. They let go of her and gave her a smile.

"Oh, In. I have this cousin who is a big fan of yours. Can he come here and maybe hang out with us?" asked Wonhee.

Jae In being the anti social would normally say no but hearing that it's her cousin. Wonhee would talk about her cousin non stop. Saying no would sadden the excited woman, knowing that they haven't seen each other for months already. However, the other side of her says that Wonhee and her cousin could meet another time.

The young actress looked at the expectant brunette and there her decision was made.

"Sure but just a picture with me. Don't include me into your conversation," she said as she sat on her chair.

Kihyun repeated the same words as he paced back and forth. He was waiting for his cousin, outside his idol's waiting room.

Sure, he was part of one of the most charismatic kpop boy groups but meeting his idol was different. He felt nervous. Is this what fans feel when they meet him?

His heart stopped when the door opened and smiled at the sight of his cousin. He felt giddy. Giddy as a little girl receiving her new doll.

"Wonheeeee..." he said as he hugged her.

Wonhee gave him a hug that was tighter than expected, which was usual but he can't never get over how strong she can get despite being petite.

They entered the room and Kihyun greeted In. She greeted him with a small nod and stood up, knowing he will ask for her picture. The man couldn't help but feel nervous and develop sweaty hands as he sees the beauty before him.

"Hi, I'm Yoo Ki-"

"I know," she said as she shook the stretched hand.

"Can we-"

"Yes, we can."

Kihyun looked at Wonhee, silently asking to take them a picture. Wonhee took his phone and ready the camera. Kihyun stood beside JaeIn and smiled as In only gave a small smile. It was not even known if she was really smiling.

Kihyun felt awkward for the awkward. He was aware that she was known for her cold personality but he never knew that it was this cold.

"At least she's not arrogant," the boy thought.

Wonhee sat beside Kihyun and gave him a drink. She felt bad for bringing Kihyun, knowing very well the result of the whole but it was one of the things that she can do: making Kihyun meet his musical crush.

"She's just tired," she whispered to Kihyun.

Kihyun knew Wonhee was lying. He wasn't that dumb. Having Jae In few appearances wouldn't ture that quickly unlike other performances such as. He understood why she had to lie.

The cousins conversed whilst MinOk helped In in removing her make up. MinOk would usually bring up a conversation with In but she felt that the girl was not happy with the loud chattering made by the cousins.

As her make up was removed, she took a deep breath and stood up, facing the two.

"May I ask you two to leave the room? I have to change my clothes," she said with a thin hint of annoyance.

The cousins looked at each other and did so. As they went out, Wonhee apologise for In's attitude and that its not only him who was able to experience it. That was one of Kihyun's greatest question:

Why is she like this?

Kihyun had this belief that behind every mean or arrogant person has a story behind it.

"Kihyun ah, you should go home. Its already late," said Wonhee, patting his head.

"I will, thank you for tonight," he said, squeezing the hand on his head.

"I'm also sorry in behalf of In."

"It's okay. I somehow expected it," he said, giving his cousin a reassuring smile.

Both bid their goodbyes. Kihyun going to the left, heading to the exit while Wonhee head back to the room to fix things and call it a day.

Kihyun arrived at the dorm with a big smile despite of the cold treatment from his crush. He lied down on his bed, posting the pictures he had taken, showing one of the things he loved the most.
