summary: your sister is one of the most famous f1 drivers in history and when she suddenly has a barrage of hate and online users comparing her to a certain lando norris, you’ve gotta step in and sort it out. you couldn’t foresee the man in question being into you.
warnings: jokes about adoption but it’s lighthearted. also mentions of racism and sexism. also y/n bullying poor lando in defence of her sister.

GUYS I JUST HAD A LUCID DREAM??!! like im not even all into lucid dreameing frl but wowww. Ok what i remember is that i was a star in a movie and sole of my classmates were stars to a movie and i had to sit in my seat on stage and sit in character and SZA WAS SITTING RIGHT NEXT TO ME? Bro idk the dream was as weird as my regular dreams( i have the weirdest dream) but maybe weirder. Anyways i was talking to her like we were besties n shit. Then all of a sudden i was in my biology class room talking about my movie and other movies with my classmates and a few celebrities and we were shipping characters from movies. This part is blurry but either sza, megan thee stallion or ome of my classmates asked if i still liked timothee chalamet and girl 😍😶🌫️ ofc i do tf he my man frl 🫀. Then I actually woke up but my phone was dead and i was to lazya nd sleepy to charge it so i fell back to sleep. Then i was back in my biology room and mr hartland my biology teacher and some students wrre talking and then i started feeling weird and suddenly i felt like i was dreaming so i asked my biology teacher what a lucid dream was and asked him if i was dreaming and he said YES I AM DREAMING?!!( it always scared me when ppl on tiktok told u NOT to ask if it was a dream or bad things could happen but i loved how literally nothing happened 💀)but i was so chill about it i was frl like “oh cool” or sum. I asked if i could stay n he said yes and i asked what we were doing a he talking about some boring biology shit and I remember going on the Vanity Fair youtube channel and git mad cuz i saw all my movie star co workers om interviews for our movie so i went to my email to look if there was an email asking me to come for an interview then i woke up.. guys this was so random i think it was a lucid dream cuz i was aware i was dreaming n shit so it probably was? Can @charmedreincarnation or someone whose experienced in lucid dreaming give me advice or something please 🙏🏾 anyways yea lucid dreams are as weird as regular dreams yall

Week in Review | Oct. 29 aka The SNL Week
Hi there! Just a week ago I woke up to see the Pedroverse exploding about his appearance on SNL. What a week, it all feels like a bit of a blur. I’m so happy I have my pocket friends here so I can scream into the void about this man. Although, after this week I’m not sure how we are going to fare come Gladiator 2 time … at least we’ll have time to prepare for that versus getting caught off guard, right? What do you think P?
For those who celebrate Halloween, I hope you’ve had a safe and fun weekend. Mr. Rhoorl and I are returning to Halloween Horror Nights for the last time tonight! I still can’t believe how much I’ve enjoyed going to the event this year. Goes to show that sometimes doing something out of your comfort zone may be worth the try!

On the heels of the SNL appearance, @morallyinept added more to her Pedro Boys Cocktails with a SNL edition. These are so funny and clever. Side note, happy birthday (and 1k followers too?! Amazing you deserve it all)! To celebrate, she gave us a gift by way of two one-shots which I'm adding to my list for this week!
Feral Corner:

But seriously, these gifs have been living rent-free in my mind. Also, there was a photo of Pedro that I saw in gray sweatpants that made me lose my goddamn mind aka change the name of my blog from Joel’s Gray Sweatpants to Pedro’s Gray Sweatpants. Because that's a rational response, right?! 😆 I’m also convinced that I manifested his choice of attire into existence and you can’t tell me any different! Let me have this!
My week wasn’t all dominated by Pedro, as hard as that may seem. Garrett/Benny was up in there too. This recent post has solidified the idea that I need to add a bowling scene to Delta Landscaping at some point. Garrett apparently has a song coming out on Friday, so expect me to be obnoxious about it when it drops.
Things I Watched:
I have just a couple of days left to do my annual rewatch of Hocus Pocus. I have been wearing my Sanderson Sisters shirt throughout the month, though.
I didn’t go to the movies this week, but Mr. Rhoorl went and saw Five Night at Freddy’s. He’s never played the game and knows just the basics about the lore, but he thought it was fine.
We did introduce Baby Rhoorl to The Nightmare Before Christmas this week (quick poll - do you consider that a Halloween movie or a Christmas movie?). She was interested in it for as long as a two-year-old can be interested in something.
Personal Stuff
This week I started a bit of a health journey, which has been going pretty well so far. Things were a bit crazy at work as we launched a really big project. Baby Rhoorl also attend a birthday party for a friend - her first one! Being around that many small children was … a lot. I left super overstimulated and I am continually in awe of teachers and caregivers who do that day in and day out.
I’m looking forward to some Halloween fun this week, starting with HHN tonight (goodbye Joel, we had a good run). Baby Rhoorl’s school is doing a Trunk or Treat event - a concept I never knew existed until last year. And Tuesday my entire office is dressing up for Halloween. The floor I’m on picked Halloween movies as our theme, and my team decided on the Addam’s Family. Yay for corporate Halloween fun 🙃 although it does make for some pretty funny meetings.
I can’t believe we are staring November in the face! Mr. Rhoorl and I have plans to see a concert in November, which I’m really excited about - Ice Nine Kills and In This Moment. We’ve seen both of these bands before, but I’m looking forward to watching them again!
Fic Updates:
This past week I got a chapter of Working Title out - with a fun cameo. 😉 Chapter 16 has been done for about a week but I've been sitting on it, rereading. Fair warning, the cameos aren’t done. Also, we finally get some smut…yay! Hopefully, those who have been reading will find it worth the wait. 🫣 I will get it out this week, I'm thinking maybe Wednesday?
Delta Landscaping Chapter 9 is coming along. It takes me a lot longer to write that series since there’s so many characters to keep track of (and I am writing it as I go). So apologies for the delay.
I have a couple of one-shots in the works, but I will likely post a Benny one this week, maybe for Miller Monday? I originally planned on doing a little Halloween one-shot, but the month got away from me 🫤

🌿 Success Story 🌿
I manifested an Ipad.
So I'm an artist and I love creating digital art, I would usually use my laptop along with a drawing tablet with wires etc but it was such a hassle everytime and because of that I wouldn't draw as much as I wanted to. I realized if I had an ipad I would draw soooo much more and I would finally be the world renowned digital artist I was destined to be. So what i did??? I looked up the price and guess what??? it was sooo expensive... like, I literally couldn't imagine how tf I would've been able to purchase that with my own money so I literally said "I'll just manifest it!"
I went about my days just acting as if it was already ordered from amazon: just thinking about my ipad, planning what all I'm going to create and do with my ipad, visualizing myself on my ipad, talking to people (my husband and my family) about my ipad and all my great plans for it.
🎉 The Day 🎉
I went about my day normally, in the evening my husband had a meeting so I went but just waited in the vehicle. So yeah... I was just waiting waiting and literally thinking "if I had my ipad RIGHT NOW I could be doing *this and that*".
Somehow I ended up falling asleep and into the void (without even trying) I was seeing some sort of a split screen, in one I could see myself sleeping in the vehicle and another, I was sitting with a rose gold ipad, drawing (I would describe it as Me Now and then My Desired Self or 3D and 4D). After that screen/visual played for what felt like a few minutes, I was still asleep but I was seeing a visual of like my aunt driving, on her way to me, where I was right now (asleep in my vehicle) --- She was calling my phone but I never heard it ring, cuz I was asleep but yeah anyway I watched her drive straight to me and pulled up along side the vehicle in my sleep/dream/void state. She came up to the vehicle, called my name and kinda shook me... that's when I woke up. I woke up to see her just smiling then she walked back to her vehicle, went in the backseat, pulled out a brand new rose gold Ipad and just handed it to me and stood there smiling.

okay irene so 😓😓 ur Gonna go to camp today and i will miss you vv much . Please today has been the worst day everrr. It snowed, but classes were still "in session" so I still had to get up and go, none of the people I actually like were there so I sat alone pretty much all day, the roads were slippery so I literally almost got into a wreck 😭 I missed out on my breakfast and lunch period, because again, went to my psych class, my boyfriend or whatever is mad that I say "huh" all the time?? 😭 Dawg, I'm just hoping, no PRAYING, that I can have a good time at home. I seriously feel like exploding rn, Axel please just throw me into the sun atp 😔 I had 3 different quizzes today, and I ran on 3 hours of sleep so Idk how tf that went 😞 PLEASE, ALSO I RAN OUT OF YK FEMININE PRODUCTS, BUT WHEN I WOKE UP IT LOOKED LIKE IT WAS OVER SO I WAS JUST LIKE "Yk what I'll just go pick some up after classes" LEGIT MY 3RD PERIOD I FIND OUT I WAS WRONG? Dude I can't 😭 But bag secured now?
Please the second I stepped into my lovely home the tears started building up 💔 It's mostly because my boyfriend legit told me everytime I say huh or what it makes him mad, cause I didn't know? He's all the time calling me stupid and idk how to feel about it, like ik its a joke, but I was constantly put down if I was incorrect about something growing up. I was taught that intelligence is one of the most important things for a person, so I try really hard to maintain it, but when he calls me dumb, or stupid, maybe even slow, sometimes implying it.. Just is completely insulting. Idk how to mention it without getting a negative reaction either. He called me uhm, just a word that I won't repeat, and I told him not to then he said "Are you seriously offended? Like why are you offended by it?" 😐 I love him to death, but I don't like when he calls me degrading names. I mean, he's constantly calling me a bitch and stuff, it's just borderline disrespectful. It'd be different if it was an obvious joke, or if it was just occasional, but no its all the time and it's difficult to tell it apart from seriousness. He even told me to not talk to him for the rest of the day today? Man I'm just dying. I feel like it's bringing out the hurt that I've been trying to get over, and it's just a lot 😩 Might nap though, or sleep? Idk idc 😭

alrighty here’s my recap of my first FULL week of junior year!!
Monday 😟:
Monday was pretty okay, I might upload photos and videos separately cause my phone is glitchy. But I also had a dentist appointment that day so I came home and passed tf out and then woke up and did some homework. My physics teacher showed us music videos for class so that was pretty fun.
I have no pictures for Tuesday so here’s one of the video my teacher showed us. Tuesday I kinda of came home and did some homework and slept again cause I was kinda tired still from the previous week but I got most of my stuff done so slay. I also got a 40/50 on the AP Chem test I took this day
WEDNESDAY 😭
Wednesday was fun. We did a media bias project in AP Environmental and found that gem above from a very right wing website that was claiming that the government (liberals) are trying to steal babies dna and castrate them. Besides that I went home for like 10 minutes and then booked it to work and did get home until like 9:20 pm (yikes). I did some school stuff during work but I was so tired when I got home that I passed tf out and didn’t finish SHIT. I had stuff due the next day so I was worried but the teachers understand and most of them don’t take off points if it’s late cause they know the students are busy. I also got extra credit for fucking around at the end of a test and drawing my AP Lang teacher a hand turkey. Took an amazing nap in the VLC (virtual learning center/library) that day and woke up to my calculator going absolutely WILD.
Thursday 💀
Particularly fun day cause I found the WAP chair my friend Max (he graduated I miss him so much) painted 2 years ago. It’s amazing I know. Today was more productive. Still planning on starting a productivity challenge I just keep forgetting to make a post lol. I grinder out work in the VLC instead of napping and was pretty productive untillll….. I get home and call my mom (she’s ij the East coast visiting relatives rn) and then I book it to work and work until like 9 on AGAIN BRUH (to explain I should be getting off at 8 but oh well more money for me ig. I did school during work again and had a meltdown cause after working on a problem for like 2 hours I realized I was just putting the decimal in the wrong place lol. Besides that I got home and did a bit of work but then I passed out again until like 5:55 am again (I get up around 6 cause school starts at 7:50 am lol.
FRIDAY 💯💯💯
Particularly good day. Didn’t have to take my trig test THANK GOD. But I still have lots of weekend homework which is fine because besides working from 9-2 on Saturday I’m free. I may go to the mall with my friend and get some lipgloss and books 😍. I’m pretty excited for this weekend to be able to finish my work and relax. I took moon pictures last night also but I will make a separate post about that!
