sorry not to be negative or anything i think a lot of the jokes about maria dying are funny but am i the only one who thinks that its taking it a liiiittle too far to flood the comments of the live action actors posts with stuff about how shes gonna get shot or you cant wait to see her die (and yes this is actually happening im not making up a guy to get mad at)

#i KNOW its in reference to the character not the actor in real life but its still weird?#like even if youre talking about the character youre still directing it at a real person. who is also a child . which just makes it worse #i feel like if i was in her position id be a bit freaked out #especially if i didnt know much about sonic and how important/iconic maria dying is #like the top comment on her isntagram post confirming her role is just ''LMAO SHES IN A BODY BAG ''#and theres a bunch of other jokes under that about her dying. most of the comments section is just jokes about her dying actually #with a few people congratulating her and stuff but mostly jokes about her dying .... its weird #and about waht she was wearing maybe she Was making a joke there #but i feel like its just as likely that she was on set in costume at the time #and isnt allowed to show what maria looks like yet and thats why she had her face and body covered #theres not really anything wrong with these jokes on their own but why are hundreds if not thousands of people #insistent on making sure the actor herself knows how much you wanna see her die . its so weird

I have a face so beautiful that people do a double take when they see me. I am always being looked at in awe because of how much beauty I possess. I am a true muse, an inspiration. I am a work of art in human form. I am always being told that im the prettiest person anyone’s ever seen. “You’re so pretty” “you’re literally gorgeous” “you’re really really beautiful” are things I hear on a daily basis. I have beauty that seems to get better with time, my beauty is always increasing. I always notice people staring at me in admiration and in disbelief when I go out in public. I am treated like a celebrity simply because of how beautiful I am. I am absolutely mesmerizing. I feel secure and confident in myself. I am incredibly confident that I am beautiful. I am absolutely sure that I am gorgeous. I fully believe that I am stunning. I am very confident in my appearance. I have modeling agencies tripping over themselves for a chance to hire me. I could become the beauty standard in every country, it’s globally accepted that I am extraordinarily beautiful. My face is all I need to go viral all over the world, I have an incredible amount of beauty that would make anyone and everyone dying to know who I am. I am perfectly satisfied with my beauty. I am so happy to be me. I cherish myself and my beautiful features.

I love the shape language for Machete and Vasco, how angular and pointy the former is VS how round and soft the other... It's so GOOD I adore that

Thank you! I like the contrast as well, it makes them very fun to draw together. I try to keep them visually distinct while still making sure that they look harmonious and complementary next to each other.

#some more design musings that I've noticed that don't really matter but I tend to think about when drawing them:#Machete's shapes have an upward direction the ears the neck fluff and even the tip of his snout has that upturned angle #while Vasco's vibe is more loose and relaxed his huge floppy ears almost make him look like he's melting #neither of them have strong markings but the positioning of the gradients they have is very similar it's just different colors #Vasco has dark almond eyes (with what I can only describe as disney eyelashes)#his irises appear nearly black but if you shone a strong light directly on them they'd reveal a honey/amber hue #Machete's eyes are big and prominent with disproportionally small pupils #lately I've been drawing him with just the faintest salmon colored irises #but if the color scheme of the piece calls for it they can be depicted more vividly red #Machete has longer untameable fur here and there while Vasco is uniformly smooth and velvety #Machete is supposed to be the serious and inhibited half of the two but his face has a lot more expressive potential than Vasco's #it's actually kind of a struggle that I can't make Vasco emote with his ears at all those are typically a huge advantage in furry art #Vasco's body language is open and casual he takes up space confidently #Machete is usually very closed and defensive he has a habit of crossing his arms and legs and keeping his hands together and close to body #in general Vasco shouldn't be wearing anything black or red and Machete can't be seen wearing blue or gold #white is neutral territory it's usually the color of sleepwear and undershirts and as a result has a more intimate tone to it #answered #ardate

He's my favorite Mega and yet I draw his hair rather inconsistently, so I'm putting these here for my own reference as the shapes here came out Just Right. And there's some additional doodles from a while back of Hub demonstrating his built-in cord.

(Next to it is the Jack-Out switch and a port for Lan's PET cord.)

#of course I also needed to get an idea on the Forbidden Left-Facing Position so there's that too #now that I got a hang of lan's hair in the way that I like it #I'm over here like oh gosh I want to make sure these two still look like twins so I am trying to make their bangs look similar #I think it's fine now *agh*#that's kinda what happens after years of learning styles and adjusting body proportions (I jump between so many kinds so)#doodle-daas #megaman exe #megaman.exe #rockman exe #hub hikari #saito hikari #anywho yeah just putting this here quickly so I can refer to it later down the line (it made me itch my brain)
