I Know What You Are... You Are Mega Man!

The differences between each Mega is something I love and appreciate, plus it's also fun to compare them side-by-side for it.

I think it's really amusing how they start with robots that slowly reach near-human traits, and then there's a straight-up human. Albeit, he is merged with a non-human being.

And then there's Volnutt. I know he could probably be narrowed down to an "artificial human", but I like the idea of tying him to his celestial origins as Trigger that are still half a mystery.

Such is my running-joke with him. He is just... Volnutt (currently).

Would lan/netto feel offended if he watched someone mixing curry with rice all together then eating unlike how he usually eats it in the anime

Maybe if he was getting a share himself he might say something about it? I'm sure that's just one of many ways someone could eat curry, so it wouldn't be such a big deal. Kinda like whether or not you mix up spaghetti in the sauce (unless that's actually a crime ( ' -'); ).

(Most of) The Boys in Room 17

For those who haven't been following for a Long while, this specific setting is for when the handful of Megas are participating in Smash, so while they all share one room they do live alongside other Final Smash participants. Here are some various interactions-- that funnily enough ended up featuring those who make up the Star Force entity.

For the bottom-left scene, I had been wanting to show more of those two hanging out more because of their respective connections with the space-n-stars. I feel like Volnutt would gladly share what he knows with Geo, but it hadn't occurred to me that maybe anything specificly regarding his life on Elysium is a tough subject.

Do you have any tips on how to draw Omega-xis' spikeyness?

Oh gosh, I wanna assume you are talking about the light of his body? I guess I see the material being like an explosion, where it starts really big and wide then starts to narrow down. On that note, I see the material as sporadic so I think it's okay to make it look as non-uniform, so some spikes can be real long and some not.

His torso looks like the zig-zag of a lightning bolt to me, so I try to go for a shape like that and but it "explosion" again.

For his "mane", which I think of it like X-Zero's ponytail where it has this big hump at the start (but it starts at the top of his head and connects back to his neck?) then follows the same idea from before.

So maybe think about it as if Omega-Xis had regular human proportions but then make then "explosion", I'm sorry if that doesn't make a lot of sense as I'm very bad at explaining things. L(///L )

I also made a visual of what I mean if it may be more helpful:

If you were otherwise talking about his head, I find that I start with his "ears" then draw the "spikes" over his eyes to figure out the perspective I want to go for. To me, he's like recalling how to draw a furry-anthro, dragon, and a box at the same time. ^^;

ONE MORE THING. Because I have to solidify these details onto paper, I'm trying to have it so the Hikari twins still looked similar by matching up their bangs. So thanks to my recent touch-ups with Lan, I had to stare at Hub for a long while until I got what I wanted again.

So here's a totally-not-confusing visual on what I was trying to go for.

He's my favorite Mega and yet I draw his hair rather inconsistently, so I'm putting these here for my own reference as the shapes here came out Just Right. And there's some additional doodles from a while back of Hub demonstrating his built-in cord.

(Next to it is the Jack-Out switch and a port for Lan's PET cord.)

Teeny-cramped comics featuring the Net-Op Boy. Unlike their previous crossover events, he wasn't exactly invited to join his brother in that Smash thing. So he needs someone to look after Hub.

So this is a sillier revisit to this old thing when it was first addressed.

And yeah, Hub can take care of himself, but there is no way for him to hit the Jack-Out Switch if he happens to be in a device.

With the event of Dark MegaMan.EXE getting into DiVE, I attempted to dedicate a whole page to sketching him (and that really creepy smile he makes, I Think I got it down kinda!). Oh yeah, and then I made an edgy comic. Here, you may have pain now. :)

The Legendary Hero's RAPID FIRE weapon, the BN Blaster.

The tie-in to Battle Network in SF1 was neat already, but upon seeing the buster you unlock in action, I could only think if how Omega-Xis would've handled it-- here's that exact imagery.
