The veteran’s arms wrapped around him, holding him close, and Warriors leant into him even as his own arms tightened around Wild’s unconscious body. He wouldn’t drop the boy—not so close to the end.

They mentioned that they hadn't seen that dynamic very often and I was like "huh, weird! I've read so many, I see it all the time!" And then when I was thinking of examples I realized that. i had this idea where talia and khoa's positions were reversed during batman: the knight.

au: khoa sought out the league for training first, and ra's convinces (male manipulates) him into staying (getting adopted). meanwhile, talia ditches the league for her own "self discovery" journey, meets bruce, and ends up travelling around the world with him (she follows him and he is incapable of getting rid of her, sry bruce). they end up at the league of shadows where bruce sees the "son" of ra's al ghul and falls in love at first sight :)
