White Wizard Tower

Apparently I am stuck pretty deeply in Lord of the Rings because while the title fits I can only read is as the tower of the white wizard and not just a white tower that belongs to a wizard. I don't think it's a serious problem though. I wanted to give the impression of a tower shrouded in mystery without going too much into the architectural details. It took me maybe two hours to finish it after wrestling my paints for a slightest tint for the background instead of going full pink. Acrylic sketch on paper, 30×20cm.

My WHITE WIZARD! These guys are very rare here in Australia. I feel very fortunate to have this in my collection. If you're unaware, in the series there is the Philodendron White Princess, then the White Knight, and top of the hierarchy is the White Wizard. I would like to thank @flora_magnifica for this. I've had it a few weeks now, but haven't shared it as yet as it I wanted to make sure it was going to survive. It was transported from the Philippines and had to spend time in quarantine before being released. There is a new leaf just unfurled and plenty of new root growth so I'm now confident that it is going to survive 😁 Now all I need is a to get a white knight cutting from my friend @francypants78 😇 and I'll have the whole set 😁 Care for these is just like like most other Philodendrons. They like bright indirect light and also a light well draining potting mix. And it likes humidity to be above 60%. Though I treat this one with very special care. It's on a heat mat and I'm keeping the humidity between 80 - 90% as I want to replicate its natural habitat the best way I can. So my girl Arianne @themetanoist has been getting into Mayan astrology recently and informed me that today is a special day in that cosmo-vision. So in Mayan Astrology time is measured differently (by moons) and in cycles. Today we start one of these “wave-spell” cycles, which lasts 13 years! The previous 13 year cycle was a challenging one, of the “Red Moon”, which was about purification and shadow transformation. But today we start this new cycle of the “White Wizard” which is about accessing the higher knowledge and wisdom from the spiritual dimension and integrating it to the physical world we live in. Basically it’s a period of becoming our higher selves and serving the planet. I wish this wizard image was better aligned with this new energy, but I guess it was drawn in the previous shadow-battle cycle, haha.
