i find it very funny how powerful kyle was as white lantern in general and how little they used it outside new guardians. making an entire army feel compassion for the people they were attacking so they'd stop? nearly bringing back an entire planet with sheer force of will?insane. beautiful. incredible. dangerous as hell, considering it implies how far he can manipulate people's emotions, but at least he's very self-aware (and frankly terrified of what he has seen himself be able to do, which may as well be the tastiest part).

Yang and weiss were sitting on a bench resting after a walk and yang would look at weiss slightly confused and a little worried.

Wait holy shit one of my friends just suggested that if Kyle were in fact responsible for the emotional spectrum being as it is today. Wouldn't then the emotions being locked up and contained explain that Kyle is completely out of commission and freaking out because those are his emotions. Kyle is the one who is locked up and being drained of all his emotions. None of the other lanterns will ever be able to break through what is Kyle's energy. All tying back into how every ring works for and seeks out Kyle and the life equation belongs to him truly

Lantern Corps for Ruby Characters

I’ve had this idea for a while and since RWBY is doing plenty of cross over material with DC as of late so I figured it was about time to do something like this and discuss the possible lantern corps that I think would best suit the characters of RWBY 

For those who may or may not know Lantern Corps are organizations that have rings that give their wearers superpowers and they are powered by different emotions and in order to wield one of these rings you have to have a strong connection to the emotion that wears it

And these Lantern Corps are; 

The Red Lanterns of Rage

The Orange Lantern of Avarice

The Sinestro Corps of Fear

The Green Lanterns of Willpower

The Blue Lanterns of Hope

The Indigo Tribe of Compassion

The Star Sapphires of Love

As well as the; 

Black Lantern Corps of Death and the White Lantern Corps of Life

As well as the newest corps being; 

The Ultraviolet Corps

Note; it is unclear what exact emotion powers this corps other than it is negative in origin and as such many people believe it to be Shame

With that established I will be doing 4 characters at a time starting with Team RWBY

i sometimes think about the context of white lantern kyle and how it's sort of canon the white lantern is seen as a benevolent figure that heals and protects the disadvantaged, a saint of sorts if there is any analogy in alien cultures to that (and boy, do they lay it heavy in imagery), a beacon of life and such, and then on earth he's just Some Guy.

it's uncertain how often exactly he returned to earth during his white lantern stint, but it's incredibly funny to imagine that since as far as i recall he's one of the few lanterns who kept a secret id he remains being Some Guy.

I come out of my hiatus to once again laugh about JayKyle

Specifically the part where Kyle is Bruce’s favorite lantern and in fact potentially the only one out of the usual Jason ships that Bruce might actually approve of, so this should mean smooth sailing right? Kyle’s got a free pass into Gotham!

Except he doesn’t actually

Batman might be cool with Kyle running around Gotham, but Jason has a near endless amount of siblings and at least ONE of them are bound to hate Kyle

I’m actually voting for the hostile sib to be Dick because I saw a post recently exploring what it would be like if these he and Kyle loathed each other for absolutely no reason at all and it was HILARIOUS and also Damian because 1) if anybody’s gonna hate literally anyone their sibs bring home, it will be this kid, and 2) he’ll hate anybody Dick hates out of solidarity
