5MINNUST & Puuluup just won Eesti Laul! I’m so hyped about this result, it was exactly what I wanted! Credit to Ollie, and I would really love to see him at Eurovision one day, but 5minnust were just on another level tonight. The perfect level of chaos and excitement with a super catchy song – I really hope that this connects with the general audience at Eurovision the way it seems to have with the fandom. They definitely could tweak the staging to give it a little more polish for the big stage, but I hope they keep the overall energy and honestly choreography from this performance. I’m so glad we’ll get to see them again in May!

#these are my thoughts on swap au that im hiding on tumblr #i dont think personalities can ever be effectively swapped bc then it's basically just the same people except they look like someone else #and that especially doesnt work if like swap!patrick is basically just pete wentz but hes white now #anyways. the peterick dynamic is like 'were both deficient in something that makes a good frontman so were like two halves of one person' #so in a swap au where petes the vocalist he basically becomes the perfect frontman which draws more attention to him and #pushes the band away and isolates him even more than he already was at that point + that all comes crashing down during folie/hiatus #and then post hiatus he does a complete 180 retreating into himself and drawing as little attention to himself as possible while #still having to stand up there and sing every night #on the alternative i think swap!patrick would be more comfortable because hes not effectively been pushed into the center stage spotlight #and its easier for him to disappear into the background like he wants bc he doesnt do the lights and the cameras but patrick IS a performer #and without that push from starting out singing in fob he doesnt really get the chance to fluorish like that and develop his confidence #um so anyways.

asked reddit how to maintain stage presence while seated and the responses are ridiculous so does anyone here have advice?

oh man, if i thought eps 9-10 made me mad..... this was easily the worst episode in the entire season. 

i knew these eliminations would hurt no matter what bc i grew so attached to most of the trainees left, but haruto not even being a candidate for p0.18... im a jaystar first and foremost, but i voted for haruto every. single. day. my other picks rotated, but haruto was my no.2 pick the whole time

i'm actually relieved Zhang Hao was second- the last thing we need now is knetz to turn on the one g trainee they allow to thrive. If he was 1st, no doubt korean voters would have dropped him, and he'd get Xiaoting'd. Also, as a jaystar.... I'll just say this episode was rough for me and leave it at that. Honestly, Sung Hanbin has nothing left to prove (he's done different concepts, had multiple main vocal and killing parts and never even come close to losing his 1st rank), so I do wish he'd share the spotlight even slightly- but in the end, it's a competition. I do wish they’d stop angel editing him though when he’s proven to be the single most ruthless trainee on the show. Every other trainee who’s in a more precarious position has been more compassionate with parts distribution at one point or another. Anyway, congrats to Ricky on breaking into the top 9!!!

I’ve learned that it takes more than a month of daily annoyance for me to email a complaint to my alderman, which frankly indicates that I’m pretty patient as a person

Forgot I had my Annie script in my backpack and teared up when I saw it

It's been almost two weeks since the end of my high school drama career and I thought I had gotten all the tears out after sobbing my eyes out during closing night but apparently just the sight of my old script was enough to do it-

"Good afternoon, Ms. Hannigan?" And suddenly my eyes are glossy help-

#panda posts #i don't think it helps that like- i got a callback for both hannigan and grace and so before i even knew what role i'd have in the play i'd #done both sides of the initial dialogue for the scene where grace first enters #my first rehearsal for the year and those were the first words i ever said #and they were the first words i said as grace during callbacks too #idk i just remember very clearly on closing night standing behind the curtains and straightening out my costume and taking a deep breath as #i prepared to walk on stage to perform that first scene one final time and the only way to stop myself from crying on stage and breaking #character was to go out there and give that audience the best fucking performance i'd ever done #because if it was going to be my last i wanted to go out on a high note #and so walking out there and saying that line for the last time... it meant a lot to me that i was able to do it without crying and #breaking character which is what's making me so emotional now as it's hitting me that it's actually over now that i've had time to recover #physically from the burnout that comes with being up at the school every day for 3-7 hours doing musical ALONE
