I'm feeling a mixture of tired (because cold weather makes me sleepy), excited (because I'm working on a new WIP and I like where it's going, even though I have no idea where it's going or how I'm going to get to the already planned out ending), and a little anxious (because I want my research proposal to be approved so that I can write the topic I want to write about)

I'm doing really well in my master's program right now, so I'm pretty fucking pumped about that

Kauai. Out of all the Hawaiian islands, Kauai was my favorite. Oahu is nice but it's my home island and I've seen pretty much every part of that island

China, Japan, and idk the last place. And no, I don't. I'm a broke child

I speak really shitty Chinese. Like, I know the fucking basics and a few phrases but other than that, eh...my Chinese is 不好. I also know some phrases in Japanese, Korean, and Spanish but I remember more Chinese than I do Spanish, but that might be because I spend more time watching Chinese dramas and listening to Chinese music. I honestly just want to improve my Chinese considering how much time I spend watching dramas and listening to music

cadmium yellow; when you think of the word “happy” what’s the first thing that comes to mind?

The word happy invokes this thing in me. It's not a thought, more like sensory information, like my cheeks burning, face hurting because I smiled so big, the feeling of breathlessness because I've laughed for so long. Low stormy days, dark sky, rough wind, rain. The feeling of hard work paying off.

naples yellow; where do you feel most at home?

The wall behind my bed in my room in my parents' flat. My dad's arms, always ready to hug me. The pages of my copy of Red, White and Royal Blue that have seen more tears than my pillow.

golden deep; what’s your favorite season?

Lightning and thunder season comes first even if it's not technically a season.

titans; do you prefer slow mornings or relaxing evenings?

Neither. I don't like mornings, and evenings have never really been my thing. Nights, though, are more my speed.

cobalt blue spectral; what is the most beautiful place you have ever been to?

There's this beach called Talsari. It's not the best place in the world, but there's something about that quiet beach that I think is beautiful.

Write, but I also really like playing video games if I’m not having a day where I’m in so much mental distress I can only lay in bed haha. Also if I get to hang out with someone irl I will always want to; I get really lonely shskdjdk.

Idk… like a year ago I would have said smth like off of the American continents but I’ll settle for Canada (near the US boarder so I can see my family) if it’s possible. I just am so sick of this country shsodhdk

Oooh okay! Japan, France, and Canada. I’ve wanted to go to Japan for a long time but I’m poor and until recently I was pretty sure I might die there since I’m trans shsodhdkd but apparently that’s not true :3 France I’ve wanted to go to for a long time as well, and I was stupid and didn’t try to go during high school when my French teacher was taking students lol. Then Canada I’d obviously want to see for moving purposes but also just to see it!? I’ve never been there and live like four hours away!? What’s wrong with me!? Maybe one day I’ll be able to go to any of them but no actual plans haha.

So it’s actually not a painting for me. I love paintings, but the pics of art that I am obsessed over and it just makes me happy is The Winged Victory of Samothrace. I remember learning about it in my art history class in high school and I just fell in love with it.

I love when first dates aren’t really dates. Like yes start out at a cafe or a little spot to eat, but then go do something fun. I remember my first “date” with my now boyfriend was like that lol. We were just supposed to be a hookup for each other - thanks tinder. But then he didn’t leave that night, and then next day I just asked if he wanted to do breakfast with me and my roommate so we went to ihop I think and then I went up to his place to swim at the pool lmao. But I like stuff like that where it just kinda happens. Planned dates are nice, don’t get me wrong, but if you really want me to like you on the first date, take me on a little adventure. This turned out so much longer than I meant oops

what separates a nonxenine neogender from a xenine one? a lot of nonxenine neogens are being coined n kinda confused since they still mention concepts unrelated to the binary, fem/masc/neu etc, ie xenine concepts.

Please go to @/kenochoric's blog and scroll down to read how he's explained it , he has explained this far more in-depth and has gotten an ask with a much better definition of xenogender than just "any non-binary gender that isn't connected to the binary" (V think it was something like "any gender not already categorized , or a gendered feeling specific to the individual" but V may be wrong) . Please stop misgendering every non-xenic person by claiming they're Actually Just Secretly Xenogender , it's transphobic .

Every gender in the world that's not related to the binary isn't automatically a xenogender . For example neurogenders , culturally specific genders , kingenders , etc aren't inherently xenic . Claiming that all of those are xenic when most people claim the definition is "anything distanced from human concepts of gender" is wrong at best and ableist + racist at worst , since it claims that other cultures aren't human concepts and neurodivergencies + disorders make you not human , and both of these are unrelated to male/female/neutral so that means by your definition they would fall under xenogender .

Idk why V have to explain this over and over to people but please just stop lumping every gender ever under xenogender because that's not at all what xenogender is and is just misgendering and being transphobic towards people who aren't xenogender because you're just claiming that every single experience besides male/female/neutral is xenogender when people have explained so many times that that's not true

to clarify since V know someone's gonna say this , V am not at all against xenogenders , V am just tired of being misgendered

Blue lake:

Goodness uh… lots of things haha. I suppose the big things are have gender affirming surgeries, go to college, and have some sort of artistic success (this is the least likely one haha). I’ve been out of sorts for a few months and dunno what to do with myself anymore. I want to apply to college after top surgery so hopefully the first two will happen.

Turquoise blue:

Ough… strawberries? Idk what will grow in my state honestly but I know my bestie (E) was able to grow tomatoes as a kid and she currently is in her family’s lavender farm business so maybe I’d just focus on pretty plants. Flowers are nice.

Green:

I did already answer this but it’s not too difficult to say again haha :3 Japan, France, and Canada. There was quite a while where I was sure being trans I’d be harassed (which is probably at least somewhat true but not to the degree I was thinking) if I travelled out of the US. No plans currently haha I’m entirely too poor and have no one to go with.
