Endeavor's and Katsuki's way of atoning
Smth that has been going on in my mind for a while now and I know I'm late to the party since the manga is way past the Endeavor agency- and the Izuku-left-UA-arc but I gotta get if off my chest.
I've read a lot of analysis about similarities but especially differences between Endeavor and Katsuki, so I won’t point them out here. I'd rather continue with smth I don't think anyone else has pointed out yet (?).
In Episode 18 of Season 5 or in the manga chapter 252 Natsuo was kidnapped by that arrow-quirk-villain and while trying to rescue his own damn son Endeavor just stopped in his ways, later explaining he was afraid that if he saved him, Natsuo wouldn't be able to speak his mind freely anymore. Like??? Okay then?? Just let him die, seems to be the better option for you, Todoroki Enji AKA No. 1 Hero. And I know some will say he had faith in the three musketeers to save the day but let me remind you that Endeavor was surprised by their improvement!! So I don't think he hesitated in a strategic or calculated way but rather in a self-centered, egoistic one. And I cannot even begin to explain how much this makes me despise Endeavor, risking Natsuo's life like that.
Whereas, remembering chapter 285, Katsuki's "body just moved on its own" when Izuku was about to get stabbed. “There were no thoughts" like – yes! Exactly! I mean, Katsuki also could have had a thought process like "If I risk my life for the nerd, he will have no choice but to forgive me for my bullying, even if I don't deserve it" or something like that. But he didn't! Because all of that doesn't matter if the person in question might be freaking dead at the end of the day!
Man, Endeavor’s behavior in that episode/chapter pisses me off for so many other reasons like telling Natsuo he doesn't want his forgiveness. Yeah well, you sure don't deserve it but it may be a start to freaking apologize, like truly apologizing – which Katsuki did btw. Katsuki too, said that he doesn't expect things to change between him and Izuku but he apologized nonetheless because that's what you do if you screwed up.
And at the end of the episode when Endeavor decides to separate himself from the rest of the household, saying this is his way of atoning and guys, I can't keep up with his bs! He's turning away from them without even properly facing them!!! When he damn well knows that Fuyumi e.g. wishes for them to be a family again. Yes, sir, your kids and one son in particular are hard on you, calling you out for your abuse – as they should! – so you just give up after only two shitty dinners??? Of course there won’t be any forgiveness after such a short period of time. And this pisses me off so much because Shoto told him that he’d like to see how he would perform as a father and yet? Endeavor runs away after a few ugly confrontations with Natsuo.
And again, smth Katsuki managed to do – he stayed close to Izuku, really trying to help him out. And yes, I know, Izuku never pushed him away, in fact, ever but still, Katsuki is really putting effort into their relationship, not needing other people pushing him into doing so. He is in fact atoning.
Endeavor is just running away, not really thinking about his family or taking them into account, not truly trying to change. He's not making it about making it up to them but rather making it about how he can punish himself. Self-centered as usual.
Sometimes I wonder if Hori did the Natsuo-Endeavor-scene exactly that way, with Katsuki listening, so that Katsuki would be inspired to be nothing like him. Especially with the parallel of both of them talking about their former behavior in front of others but with the HUGE difference of Katsuki putting Izuku first.
Well. Where was I going with this? Originally this was supposed to be a Katsuki-redemption-appreciation-post, showing in comparison to Endeavor how many things Katsuki has gotten right but it kinda ended up pointing out how Endeavor just keeps fucking shit up.
Hope you're fine with that and sorry for not including any screenshots.

when he’s sleepy pt2☁️
read more: part one (deku, tenya, mirio)
pairings: bakugo x reader, shoto x reader (gn and poc friendly)
genre: fluff
daydream masterlist
Tumblr media
we have to acknowledge that bakugo has a very strict night routine and sleep schedule, so seeing him sleepy is an extremely rare occurrence to begin with.
on top of that, when you’re sleepy, you’re not on high alert or completely aware of your surroundings, and he just would not let anyone catch him slipping if he can help it!
the only time he'd be visibly tired is if he's in a place where he isn't able to follow his normal routines or is in a new phase of life so he doesn't have one yet -- think immediately after ua or on a several-days-long mission
when that happens... i'll be praying for all of you. katsuki is not fun when he's sleepy
he's grumpy, even more snappier than usual, and lets it be known that he'd rather be anywhere but here... but dare i say, he's also more apologetic.
what i mean is: he'll say something really mean and then mumble a quick half-apology like "i didn't mean that, i'm just tired." the first time it happens, everyone around you is just so shocked because bakugo? apologizing?
usually he expects everyone to know that he is the way he is, it's nothing personal, so he never feels the need to apologize for anything. when sleepy, he knows he unintentionally crosses some lines so he sometimes regrets what he says, hence the apology.
he will go back to his room as soon as possible, but will force himself to stay awake until then (i feel like he wouldn't like sleeping in front of other people)
if you two are out together and you're refusing to leave (because you definitely know when he's tired), he'll very intentionally annoy you, poking at your face or your side until you get up and leave with him. i don't see him as the type to wait outside for you or anything, he'd rather wait inside with you.
when you get back to your home/dorm/room, he'll hurry up and get ready for bed, expecting you to get ready for bed with him even if you're not tired. he'll also probably say something about how he hated being out and never wants to see those dumbasses again because all they do is waste his time (he doesn't mean it, just tuck him in)
he would never forget to remind you to put your bonnet on if you need it, even when he’s exhausted.
he’s usually the kind of person to hold you, but when he’s really sleepy, he’d rather be held by you. he’ll lay on your chest and you automatically start rubbing his head and lightly scratching at his scalp to help him fall asleep — he’s out like a light
Tumblr media
shoto is the one person who i think would straight up tell you when he’s sleepy without any prompting. like you’re in the middle of a conversation (with him or someone else) and he interrupts you like “baby, i’m feeling tired.”
depending on your response, there are two possible things he’d do:
if you say something to the effect of “i’m almost done, we’ll go in a couple minutes,” he’ll sit and wait patiently beside you, using the very last of his energy to stay awake. he’ll be a little quieter than usual, but he’d still be engaged, smiling and nodding when appropriate. but he really expects you to keep to your word so wrap it up quickly!!
if you say anything that suggests you’re going to be there for more than a couple minutes longer, shoto will straight up get ready to take a nap. at the start of your relationship he’d just lean on your shoulder, but now he likes to full on lay his head on your lap.
he likes to lay on his back so he can see your face until he falls asleep. he also really likes when you lazily trace random shapes on his face because it helps him relax.
it may take him a little while to fall asleep so sometimes he ends up just laying there with his eyes closed, just listening to your voice.
once he is fully asleep, he’s not a super light sleeper so you can still continue your conversations with your friends until you’re ready to go.
waking him up so you can walk back to your room isn’t difficult, you just say his name a few times while gently shaking his shoulders or poking at his face. the thing is, he’ll only be half awake so his thoughts wouldn’t be super coherent. he just wants to go back to sleep :’)
you’re like half carrying him because he’s leaning on you and you always go to whichever room is closest, yours or his. no matter whose room it is, shoto will just kick off his shoes and flop on the bed, expecting you to flop down on top of or beside him. then he’s back to sleep.
he definitely wakes up in the middle of the night to change into pajamas, adjust your bonnet so it’s on right, and rearrange you two so you’re both comfortable and under the blankets. he’s very thoughtful about how he positions your head and back so you don’t get annoying cramps in the morning.

CHAPTER 10:
"You look nice, Deku" Uraraka smiled, her hands held behind her back as she rocked back and forth on the balls of her feet in a childish manner, looking at her green haired friend. "Is there anyone in particular you're trying to impress?" she gave him a knowing look that Izuku stuttered and blushed to.
"No! O-of course not" he immediately denied and averted his eyes when that only seemed to make Uraraka's smirk widen. Izuku knew he was a terrible liar and Uraraka could be very scary sometimes. "But um, hypothetically speaking.. if I /were/ trying to impress someone- which I'm not- but hypothetically speaking do you think they'll.. you know. Be impressed? Hypothetically."
Uraraka looked her friend up and down. Izuku's fashion sense has definitely improved since the beginning of their first year. Both Tsuyu and herself had made sure to teach Deku and Todoroki a thing or two about dressing themselves since they were completely clueless sometimes. Midoriya was wearing brown, cuffed corduroy pants with a forest green oversized short sleeve button up, a lighter green long sleeve underneath that to create layers. The red shoes were never going away though and Uraraka gave up in trying to get him to wear another pair of shoes. He looked good and Uraraka noticed how his hair was a bit neater too so he obviously put a bit of extra effort into trying to style his curls. In fact, looking around the common room it seemed that Deku wasn't the only one who put a little extra effort into their appearance today. Half the boys there looked like they were going off to a party instead of a casual class outing. Even Iida looked like he was trying out a new hairstyle. No glasses either.
"Umm, Uraraka-san?" Izuku waved his hand in front of the girl's face to get her attention. She zoned out for a bit there and she blinked, turning to face him again.
"Oh, right! Well, /hypothetically speaking/ right?" she smiled and he nodded, "I think they'll be very impressed." Deku beamed and her eyes shifted to Todoroki who was just arriving downstairs. "Oh, look! There's Todoroki-kun. Let's go talk" she grabbed Deku's hand in hers and took him with her. He looked very good! Todoroki's aesthetic was more of a simplistic/classy style with neutral colors. This time he decided to switch it up and was wearing a white t-shirt with an unbuttoned, loose fitting pale blue and white striped dress shirt over that. He had black jeans and white sneakers too. He looked very good. "Oooo~ is there anyone /you're/ trying to impress, Todoroki-kun?" Ochako teased.
"Yes."
Ochako didn't expect such a direct answer but giggled anyway at her blunt friend. Deku on the other hand didn't find it as funny.
"Is Bakugou here yet?" Shoto changed the subject and looked around the common room but didn't spot the explosion quirk user anywhere. He felt a little disappointed.
"No, Kacchan isn't here. Neither is Kirishima-kun" Izuku really tried to keep the bitterness out of his tone. He knew that they were best friends but did they really have to be glued at the hip 24/7? Deku doesn't like the way he starts to feel when he thinks of those two together but he can't help it.
"Oh" Shoto mumbled. There was an awkward silence where no one said anything for a few seconds until Uraraka couldn't stand it and broke it.
"So how are you feeling, Todoroki-kun? Are you still tired or are you feeling a bit better from earlier?" Ochako questioned. That got Izuku's attention and he turned to Todoroki with a curious expression. Was he sick? Todoroki didn't mention anything to him today. He wondered why he didn't tell him.
"I feel better, thank you. I'm excited to be going out with my friends" he smiled briefly and Izuku returned it. After that things started to go back to normal as they talked about what stores they wanted to go to and if they had anything in particular they wanted to buy. The common room was filled with brief conversation before the 'ding' of the elevator was heard and everyone turned to look at a nervous Kirishima standing on the far opposite side of a bored looking Bakugou. Izuku felt a knot form in his throat and Todoroki felt his heart skip a beat, their faces heating up a little at what girl Kacchan was wearing. He looked good. Hell, even if he was in his normal body and wore that he'd look good.
"You're here!" Mina rushed forward to hug her two friends in a crushing hug which Kirishima gladly returned. The girls may or may not be feeling smug at how everyone reacted to seeing Bakugou. Yeah, they did that.
"I said I would go with you extras, didn't I? Now let go, pinky" Bakugou groaned. She smiled wide before stepping back.
"This'll be so much fun!" Mina jumped up and down.
"Everyone please form a single file line for attendance! As class president I must make sure everyone is accounted for before we vacate school grounds" Iida made sure to grab everyone's attention by speaking loud and clear as well as waving his arms about. Where he pulled the clipboard from no one knows but Iida started to check off names in the class roster to submit to Aizawa sensei once they come back in a few hours. "Alright. Everyone is here. We can go now" he nodded in confirmation.
The class had to take the bus to go to the mall so Iida stayed by the door until everyone was inside before going in himself. Bakugou was planning to sit with Kirishima but the redhead as soon as he was in the bus went and sat beside Sero instead. Katsuki was confused since they always sit together and even Sero was looking between the pair in confusion. "You don't mind, right Bakubro?" Kirishima awkwardly scratched the back of his neck. Bakugou just shrugged and moved on to find an empty seat to which Kirishima let out a breath he didn't even know he was holding.
"What was that?" Sero questioned once Bakugou was out of earshot.
"What was what?" Kirishima turned to him.
"That. You always sit with Bakugou so why all of a sudden did you decide to sit next to me? I don't mind but I was a little caught off guard, man. You know, you've been acting weird ever since the night we played games in my room. Is everything cool?" Sero had an idea of what was happening but he wanted to hear it from Kiri himself.
"Yeah, everything's good. I just need to sort some things out for myself first" he explained and Sero nodded, leaving it at that. Kirishima appreciated that about Sero. He knew if it was Mina or Kaminari they wouldn't stop pestering him about it. Kirishima just wanted some time to hopefully figure out why he was all of a sudden feeling so weird around Katsuki.
On the other end of the bus, towards the back, Bakugou found an empty seat. Everyone else seemed to be already sitting with someone else but he didn't really mind it. Once seated, Bakugou put his elbow up on the edge of the window and looked outside. He felt someone slightly tap his shoulder though and looked up to a shy Koda. 'May I sit here?' he signed and Bakugou raised an eyebrow. He rolled his eyes and signed back 'go for it' and Koda smiled a little, quickly sitting down beside Bakugou. Aizawa did mention that because of his quirk, he may experience hearing loss in the future if he didn't take the proper precautions so Bakugou has been taking JSL classes from Koda since the beginning of their second year and developed a somewhat mutual understanding with the guy. He really wasn't all that bad, just a little quiet. And while they weren't friends friends, Bakugou knew that if he ever needed a quiet place to study or just hang out for a bit without talking, he could go to Koda's room. The same went for Bakugou. If Koda ever wanted to spar or wanted pointers to help in improving his fighting skills, Bakugou is available.
Now that everyone had a seat, the bus began to move. The ride was going to take approximately fifteen to twenty minutes so he just wanted to use the break to relax. Bakugou could tell Koda wanted to say something based on the way he would look at him every few minutes but then look away though. "What is it?" he finally asked a little less than halfway into the trip and Koda shook his head. "I know you want to say something, now what is it?"
Koda looked hesitant at first but then signed 'how are you feeling?' with a sincere look. Maybe if it was someone else Bakugou would have told them off for getting into his business but Koda was someone who earned his respect and admiration throughout their time together in UA and who he saw as an equal.
"Why do you ask?" he asked instead, a bit defensive, and Koda responded by signing 'this is a big change and I was just wondering how you were doing.' Bakugou shrugged. "It isn't something I can't handle. Besides, today is the last day of the quirk so I should be back to normal by tomorrow morning" Bakugou mumbled, adding in a "thanks" as an afterthought. Honestly speaking, Koda has been the only one who's asked him how he felt about this whole quirk situation. The rest of his classmates all just seemed to be having fun with it and while he didn't mind, it was nice to be asked.
'You're always welcome to come hang out with me and my bunny if you ever need quiet time,' Koda offered. 'He told me he misses the angry blonde boy with the warm hands" he joked. Bakugou smirked a little with a "tch, sure whatever. Tell 'im I miss the furball too" leaving his lips. After that Bakugou and Koda fell into a comfortable silence where Bakugou closed his eyes to rest for the few minutes they had left on the bus ride.
Everyone else in class 3-A never thought they'd see the day where they all wished they were in Koda's place. The anivoice boy was sitting perfectly still so as to not wake the pretty blonde that had leaned his head on the other's shoulder sometime along the trip and was now sleeping peacefully on him.

Hey! Happy new year, I see your requests are open so, don't mind if I do? If it's not so much of a bother, I'd like to start my new year with quality head cannons for Shoto, Katsuki and Shinsou with a jealous s/o? Sksksksks, if this is too much you're free to ignore it ♡.
A/N: I would like to apologize for how late these are coming out. I didn’t realize this as I was writing them, but I wrote them as whole ass scenarios and by the time I realized my mistake it was too late. Anyways I hope you enjoy these month late jealousy scenarios.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jealousy Comes in Many Different Forms
Tumblr media
Shoto
Todoroki is...a little dense, so he doesn’t always know when something makes you upset or feel inadequate.
He’s never been in a relationship before you, and you make him kind of flustered, so his initial reaction was to not give you compliments or little praises when you first started dating. He didn’t want to over-step his boundaries, afterall.
He didn’t expect you to distance yourself from him when it happened. It was during training when he was sparring with Midoriya. As they fought he kept commenting on how well the boy used his quirk and how he had really made it his own. And you were fine with that. The two of them were friends after all, and friends like to lift each other up.
What bothered you was when he did the same with Yaoyorozu, and he even had the audacity to show Ashido how to better use her quirk by adjusting her shoulders and arms.
You felt bitter watching this from the side lines where you were stretching. Yes you’re friends with both of the girls, but Ashido isn’t shy in hiding that she has a little crush on Todoroki. As you watched him smile at them and compliment their skills, you felt so twisted up in your gut.
By the time it was your turn to spar with your boyfriend, you decided to go all out, plus ultra, to impress him. You were ready to wow not only him, but your entire class and your teachers as well.
“You ready to get your ass kicked?” you asked, taking him off guard. You used this as an opportunity to get up close with him, using your close combat skills. You put everything you had into that fight, showing off the ultimate moves you were working on in the process.
You managed to dodge his ice and fire attacks, and you smiled at the chorus of your peers cheering you on. The sparring session ended after fifteen minutes. Neither of you managed to immobilize the other person, but by the time the match was over both of you were panting and dripping with sweat.
“Good match,” you said through pants, smiling as you patted your flushed face with a towel.
“Yeah,” Todoroki said. “You too.”
That’s all he had to say. No “you were amazing out there” or “the way you dodged my attacks was incredible.”
You felt that kink in your stomach all over again, and you decided it was best to distance yourself from Todoroki for at least the rest of the day. He clearly wasn’t impressed with you in any case, so why should you bother giving him the time of day?
“Did I do something wrong?” he asked you that night. You were lounging on the couches in the common room reading a book. “Because it kind of seems like you’ve been ignoring me since we sparred today.”
You put your book down and looked up at him. The least you could do was offer him an explanation, afterall. “I want you to look at me the way you look at Midoriya and Yaoyorozu and, hell, I guess Ashido.”
He quirked his eyebrow up at you. “What do you mean?”
“I get that you probably don’t realize what you’re doing, but when I see you praising our peers, my friends, and don’t even bat an eye at me I feel inadequate.” You looked up at him. “I don’t want to be pushy and I don’t want to ask too much of you, but is it too much for me to ask you to let me know that I’m doing a good job and that you’re proud of me?”
Shocked is one way to describe how Todoroki looked. He wasn’t expecting you to come out and say all of that. “I’m sorry,” he said. “I guess I didn’t really think about how that would have made you feel.”
You cocked your head to the side, waiting for him to say more.
“I’ve never been in a relationship until now, and you still make me very nervous,” he admitted. “I didn’t know what to say after we sparred because I was just so amazed by you. Not only that you’re a magnificent fighter, even better than me, but because you reciprocate my feelings and that is something that has never happened before.”
You rolled your eyes at the last part. “Most of the girls at this school would kill to date you,” you said.
He sat down next to you on the couch. “But none of them are you.” He hesitated a moment before putting his arm around your shoulder.
You snuggled into his side, no longer mad at him. “Thank you,” you said. This is definitely something the two of you would need to work on, but you were happy and willing to work on it together.
Tumblr media
Katsuki
Bakugo is usually the one to get jealous in your relationship.
But it always felt like he put his training, and even sometimes his friends, before you.
You didn’t mind at first because you were all determined to become one of the top heroes, and the only way to do that is to keep training your quirks.
It did bother you, though, when you got stood up on your three month anniversary so he could spar with Kaminari and Kirishima.
You were waiting outside his room for twenty minutes. He hadn’t answered any texts you sent him or the times you knocked on his door. You had a bad feeling that he wasn’t coming out of his room, and you questioned whether or not he was actually at the dorms, but your suspicions were confirmed when Midoriya saw you sitting out in the hall.
“I’m sorry, (Y/n),” he said. “I saw Kacchan leave with Kirishima and Kaminari earlier.”
You felt defeated. Why didn’t he want to spend time with you? Why would he bail on the night that you’ve been talking everyone’s ear off nonstop for the last week?
“Is there something wrong with me?” you asked Midoriya.
“Of course not!” he said. “Kacchan has just always been a bit obsessed with being number one. It’s not that he doesn’t want to be with you. He probably doesn’t even recognize what he’s doing.”
“Thank you,” you said. Talking to Midoriya helped, but you still felt bitter towards Bakugo, and you were mad at Kirishima and Kaminari too.
You didn’t sit with your boyfriend at lunch the next day. Instead, you sat with Midoriya, Uraraka, and Iida, since Midoriya helped you the previous night.
Bakugo was not happy with the new friends you seem to have made. “What the hell is this?” he asked. He managed to catch you alone between lunch and class.
“Look,” you said. “If you get to bail on our three month to hang out with your friends then I get to eat lunch with mine.”
“What are you talking about?” he asked. “Our three month isn’t until Friday.”
You felt your blood boil. How could he forget? “No,” you said, starting to shake out of anger. “It was Wednesday.”
Bakugo’s expression dropped. Color began to drain from his face. He knew how much this day meant to you and he completely forgot about it. He rubbed his hands over his face, trying to think of ways to make it up to you.
“You know what, just forget about it,” you said. “Three months isn’t that long anyways it doesn’t need a fancy celebration or anything.” You slung your bag over your shoulder and walked back to the classroom.
You had a bitter feeling in your stomach for the rest of the day, and you could barely bring yourself to talk to Bakugo as he tried cornering you after class.
“Come on why won’t you just talk to me about it?” he said. Your peers thought it would be a good idea to leave the two of you alone after that. They all either sped forward towards the dorm or stayed back to “talk to Aizawa about school work” which you knew was a lie.
“I don’t want to talk about it because I know you’re not going to take me seriously!” you practically shouted at him. Your hands were gripping the sides of your school blazer as your arms were wrapped around your stomach.
“What you do you mean I won’t take you seriously?” Bakugo asked.
“Because this isn’t the first time something like this has happened.” Your voice began breaking in places but you willed yourself to keep looking into his crimson eyes which were beginning to soften with every second that passed by.
You didn’t want to risk setting off any pent up anger he held, either to you or Deku or anything going on in his life, so you chose your next words very carefully. “I feel,” you started, “like you don’t take me seriously, and like you put your friends before me.”
Bakiugo gulped but he waited for you to finish.
“I don’t want you to think that you have to give up your friendships for me, believe me that’s the last thing I want.” You took a shaky breath in. “But I want you to spend time with me the same way you do with your friends. I want you to value our relationship the same way you value training with Kirishima and Kaminari. And I don’t think that’s too much for me to ask of you.”
When Bakugo was sure that you were finished, he walked closer to you and embraced you in an almost too-tight hug. “I’m sorry if I’ve been putting our relationship aside,” he said. He let go of you to look into your eyes, which made his throat sting slightly as he saw how glassy they were. “I promise I won’t do that anymore. And if you ever notice me doing that, you have permission to kick my ass, got it?”
You couldn’t help but smile a little at his dumb joke.
“Do you want to watch a movie or something tonight?”
You nodded and intertwined your fingers in his hand. You were happy to have figured that out for the most part, and you were glad that the two of you have a new understanding between one another.
Tumblr media
Shinsou
You were happy for your best friend when he came bursting through your door. You had never seen his eyes filled with so much light in that moment. You knew the news he wanted to share with you, even though you had secretly been wishing it wouldn’t come to this.
Shinsou had been accepted out of general studies and into the hero program. That meant that the two of you would only have the rest of the semester together before Shinsou would go on to follow his dream.
It was selfish of you to pray that he wouldn’t get into the program, especially after all of the nights where the two of you stayed up talking about your quirks and your hopes and dreams, growing a further intimate bond with one another. You didn’t want any of that to end, but Shinsou was going to do big things. And you were going to be left behind.
“That’s great,” you said, smiling. “I’m really happy for you Shin.” You reached out to squeeze his hand, showing your support.
“Thank you,” he said throwing his arms over your shoulders into a warm and dense hug. You never wanted him to let you go. “I don’t think I could have done this without you.”
You were torn apart by this. On the one hand, you want your best friend to go off and do great things, but on the other you didn’t want him to go. You decided that the best thing to do from there is to distance yourself from him.
You tried not to sit with him at lunch, and if you did end up sitting next to him you were uncharacteristically quiet. You didn’t talk to him between classes, you went straight home after school, you even refused to study with him over the weekend like you usually do.
“What’s going on?” he asked after a week of you avoiding him. “I feel like you’re avoiding me and I’m not sure why. Did I do something?”
You shook your head no. You felt a little guilty, making him feel as though your stubbornness was his fault, but you had gotten yourself in too deep, and couldn’t bring yourself to look him in the eyes.
“I get if you don’t want to talk about it,” he said. “But I also don’t know how much I’m gonna see you when I’m put in the hero program, so I’d like to make the most of that time.” He went to scratch the back of his neck.
“That’s the thing,” you said. You could feel your eyes start to get glassy and your throat beginning to sting, but you looked up at him nonetheless. “You’re gonna go off to do great things. You’re going to become a great hero, and what am I gonna do? I’m staying here in general, which I would be perfectly fine with if my best friend were here with me.” You looked back down at your lap. “But he’s not.”
Shinsou was speechless. “What if you don’t have to be,” he said, searching frantically for any reason for you to be happy with this situation. “I can talk to Mr. Aizawa. He can train you, too. We don’t have to be separated if that’s what’s making you like this. I–”
You waved off any ideas he struck up. “It’s fine, Shinsou. It wouldn’t work out anyway. I hope you have a fun time training to be a hero.”
“Whoa whoa whoa,” he said. “You’re talking like we’re never going to see each other again.”
You looked away from him.
“(Y/n), you’re my best friend. Whether you like it or not that isn’t going to change, and I’ll always be here for you, no matter what program I’m in.”
As he said that you could feel big blobs of tears begin to spill down your face. “Is that all I am to you?” you asked. “Your best friend?”
“What do you mean?” He shifted around in his feet slightly.
Here goes nothing, you thought. “I like you, Shinsou. I really fucking like you, and I know I’m a bad person for wishing you wouldn’t get into the hero program and I know that I’m a bad person for ignoring you for so long, but I really really like you. I just didn’t want what we have to end.”
Shinsou was astonished. He didn’t realize how strongly you felt. If he had known sooner he would have said something. “Okay,” he said, “so will you go out on a date with me?”
That was not the response you were expecting. In fact, you were expecting the exact opposite. Upon looking at Shinsou, you saw how nervous he looked. His face was pale, paler than usual. His eyes were wide open in anticipation. You didn’t think he should be nervous, seeing that you had already given your answer.
When the next thing you did was laugh, Shinsou almost felt defeated. “Okay,” he said. “Sorry, I shouldn’t have asked.”
“No no no no no.” You pulled his arm down to you and laughed as your forehead bonked against each other. “I would love to go one a date with you.”
I would be weird, dating each other when you’re in different classes, but you were excited to see where this next part of your relationship would go.

Ok, this is my first time writing about a Polyam relationship, hopefully it turns out good.
( ̄◇ ̄;)
Todoroki and Midoriya are the first ones to start dating, the two got together during their last year of high school. Becoming UA's OTP the moment word got out about them being a couple.
Two years after graduating you come into the picture, being from class 1-B but getting along with everyone from class 1-A. This friendship you forged lasted beyond high school and everybody going their separate ways after becoming official Pro heroes. It's shocking to you nonetheless when they both asked you to be part of the relationship.
And then Bakugo comes along a year later, it had been Shoto's idea to ask him out. In the beginning Bakugo had been hesitant about it since he wasn't even considering dating at all for the sake of focusing on his goal to become the Number One hero. But once he has his first taste of the cuddle pile? He becomes addicted to it.
Another two years go by. And by then the four of you already got into the top rankings, making a name both by yourselves and as a team.
Relationships always have their ups and downs, that's unquestionably, and one of the biggest obstacles that you all come across is when you become a target of the League of Villains, or the target of Shigaraki Tomura to be more precise, but you're actually more than a "target".
Midoriya's the one to find out one of his biggest enemies has his attention on you during a meeting for a mission. One of the detectives informs him they caught a few of the league's underlings spying on (H/N) while they're hanging out by themselves during their off-days, what creeps out the hero is when the detectives mentions the caught these same guys following you home.
The four of you already move in together a few months ago, he knows it's like a suicide mission if they try to get inside the home of four of Japan's top heroes, but he'd rather take the proper precautions and talks to the others, including you.
The mere thought of one of their biggest enemies being interested in you makes something inside the three of them go into high alert, the idea of Shigaraki laying only a finger in you is enough to make even Deku's blood boil.
The three of them know it wouldn't be fair to forbid you from doing hero work, and it's not like you're even going to consider the idea of staying at home away from any possible threat to begin with.
That doesn't stop them from suggesting it, which only manages to upset you, thinking they don't think you can take care of yourself.
After everyone apologizes -them for trying to literally lock you away and you for snapping at them in an outrage- the four of you come to an agreement.
Whenever it's your turn to patrol the city or go on a mission one of them has to go with you. It's not that they don't believe you to be strong enough to defend yourself, but they would prefer if one of them is around just in case anything were to happen.
The three of them take turns to accompany you nearly everywhere. Sometimes it's nice to be around one of them all the time, but sometimes it can get a bit....intense.
"Just where do you think you're going?" "Goddamn it Katsuki! I need to go to the bathroom!"
Someone looks in your direction for more than 5 seconds? Shoto's already glaring intensely at them and all you can do is sigh loudly while rubbing your forehead tiredly.
The calmest one is Deku...and even he's behaving more like a bodyguard, turning himseld into a human shield and stepping in between you and whoever is getting too close to his liking.
You want to be annoyed at them, you really want to...but seeing the way they worry so much about you only ends up making you giggle in the end.
And look at the bright side, now you have something to make fun of about your boys during dinner after everyone's home for the day.
"Shoto nearly threw hands with a 13-years old!" "I did not!" "But you were planning on it" "...You got me there"
"I'm not kidding, Izuku threw me over his shoulder and walked away the moment those fans wouldn't leave us alone!" "(Y-Y/N)!"
"Katsuki blasted a guy that got too close for his liking when we went to have lunch!" "That's because he had a knife on his pocket you dumbass!" "...wait what?"
Let's suppose the league somehow manages to kidnap you. But before any of them can touch even a hair the hideout's door is blown away abruptly, and there's not one, but three Pro heroes with such a murderous glare in their eyes that they just hand you over to them without a fight.

When Katsuki finds out his lover's dad passed, he tries his best to cheer them up.
warning : mention of death
Tumblr media
(f/f) means favorite flavor
You knew how to play piano. However, there was only one music you could play with a lot of skills, both hands at the same time, and fully. When you were trying to play something else, you were struggling with your both hands and sometimes couldn't manage to finish the song. And why ? Because your dad made you practice this song with him since you were 6.
You both watched Pan's Labyrinth together, and even if he was afraid at first that it would scare you, you actually ended up loving it. Pan's Lullaby was your favorite music, and your dad, knowing how to play the piano, taught you how to play it. You actually didn't show off about how 10 years of playing the same song made you totally master it.
Actually, nobody knew you could play the piano. There was one in the common room at Yuei, but only Momo and Jiro were playing it.
You were thinking about it because your dad had just passed. You got a call from the hospital ; he was called to help some heroes in Tokyo for a rescue mission, but another group of villains attacked, and he didn't make it. You were sure that Yuei would've let you go back home even if all the students were watched due to villains' attacks, but you didn't want to go back home yet. It was where he lived.
You were in your room when you got the call, so you just stayed there, not telling everyone. Your classmates were used of you staying in your room, so they didn't really notice that you weren't with them.
Katsuki was back from a training with Kirishima. Seeing you not around, he asked a girl if you were in your dorm, and she said yes. So, he made his way to your dorm, knocking on the door. He knocked 4 times louder and louder in case you were busy, but since you weren't listening, he just opened the door himself.
You were crying on your bed, some video on your computer you weren't even watching. He closed the door, raising an eyebrow. ''Why are you whining again, crybaby ?'' Well, yeah. Despise being Katsuki's lover, you also had your shitty nickname he gave you at the beginning of the year, because you were whining all the time. However, you had a good reason this time.
''My dad died on a rescue mission in Tokyo.'' You managed to say, trying to wipe your tears away. Katsuki felt awful. His jaw dropped while he was trying to find something to say. He just sat next to you and hugged you tightly. ''I'm sorry...'' You didn't really care though. ''You're like that, you didn't know, it's okay.'' And you weren't even mad. He felt really awful. ''You don't want to go home ? -No, it's better here for the moment.'' He just nodded and rubbed your back, resting his chin on your head.
He comforted you for at least 2 hours. Then, it was time for dinner, and you still didn't want to go out of your room. ''I'll bring you your plate. Do you want me to eat with you or do you want to eat alone ? -With you.'' He smiled a bit after he heard the answer, nodding, then made his way to the dining room. ''(Y/N) doesn't feel good, I'm bringing them their plate. -They're sick ?'' Mina asked. But Katsuki just took your plate without answering her and walked back to your room.
The next day, you didn't go to class. Aizawa heard about your dad's death, and he let you 3 days off. You could ask for more if you needed it, though. And since nobody was there, you decided to go out of your room and spend your day in the common room. After some time, you looked at the piano -it had been months since you hadn't played anything.
You sat, tried it on a bit, and then began to play Pan's Lullaby. The more you were playing it, the more your tears were falling, even though you weren't making any noise. What you didn't expect was Katsuki to arrive and sit on the floor, next to the piano, to watch you. When you turned your eyes to look at him, he smiled at you, but didn't say anything.
You wiped your tears away when you were done. Katsuki stood up to kiss your forehead. ''I didn't know you could play an instrument.'' You smiled at him. ''My dad and I used to play this same song for 10 years, because I really liked the movie.'' Katsuki laughed. ''You played piano for fucking 10 years and you never told me ?'' That managed to make you laugh as well.
When you noticed that school was over today, you walked back to your room. However, on your way, you heard Kaminari. ''Dude, why did you skip class ? You never do that ! -Shut up !'' Then, it was Sero. ''He wanted to take care of his lovely (Y/N) ! -Shut up ! It's none of your business !'' That's why he was back early, then.
What surprised the others too, was that Katsuki was preparing something in the kitchen. After being surrounded by questions, he exploded (lol). ''(Y/N)'s dad died, okay ?! That's why they're sad, they're staying in their room, and why I'm taking care of them !'' The room went silent. ''Can we... help with something ?'' Izuku finally said. Katsuki only sighed. ''No. Only leave them alone. (Y/N) will go out of their room when they'll want to see you.'' The blonde answered, baking something.
''And what are you doing ? -I'm baking them a cake, because they can't cook for shit. And it's (f/f), their favorite. If that doesn't fucking cheer them up !'' He didn't want any help, but Kirishima convinced him that he could help, by handing him what he needed.
He walked back to your room after dinner, since you told him you didn't want to eat yet. ''Not on my watch.'' He said, taking the cake out the fridge. Actually, he told his classmates they could write their names on the top of the cake, since it was blank. So they won't bother you, but still support you. Everybody wanted to tease Katsuki about his caring and loving attitude, but since he already told them they could write on it while yelling like a maniac, they shut up.
The blonde burst your door open, making you jump. ''You said you didn't want to eat but you are sure going to, because it's a (f/f) cake. I baked it, but the others are supporting you too.'' He said, putting the cake on your desk. You walked to look at it, and saw everybody's names. Katsuki cut you a piece of it. ''I've cut on Mineta's name. That asshole.'' You giggled and he gave it to you. And when you tasted it, oh how good it was. Katsuki really had hidden talents.
After you both ate, talking about random things and giggling -making you forget about your grief- Katsuki seemed serious again. ''You... should go out of your room. You'll be better laughing with everyone and get distracted. If you stay in your fucking room not doing shit, you're going to think about it all the time.'' You hugged him when he said that, making him jump a bit. Still, he returned the hug, kissing your head in the process. You just loved how much he was caring about you.
''When are the funerals ? -After tomorrow, and I have to go back to school the day after. Aizawa won't mind if I skip more, though.'' Your boyfriend rubbed your back. ''Do you want me to go with you ? -No, it's okay. You know he liked you, but it's only family and close friends at the funerals in my family.'' He nodded.
The next day, he didn't skip class. However, when everyone was back to the dorms, you were still there -and you had cleaned everything. ''Why so much cleaning ? -Distraction.'' You said, making Shoto smile at your answer. ''You wanna play Mario Kart with us ?!'' Mina yelled, making you chuckle. ''Sure.'' Iida jumped a bit.
''Guys ! They have to know what we did in class and write down what they missed and-'' he was cut off by Katsuki exploding his glasses. ''And don't get mad, you have a hundred of those in your dorm.'' He then walked to sit on the couch, making you sit on his lap before you start to play. He sure had managed to cheer you up the best he could.

The Sword of the Solstice
Chapter 6: The City of Reneumel.
The party is silent as Tsuyu walks over to the party. Ochaco sighs, and sits down. A distraction. She thinks, in relief. Tsuyu smiles. “You just keep finding new members, don’t you?” Says the Tortle, with a smile. Izuku unclips the scabbard from his belt and sets the Solstice Sword on the table. “Well, we found the only member of the party that's alive that you sent after this sword.” He points to Ochaco, and Tsuyu frowns. “I feared that was the case...”
She points to the sword. “So you found it?” Izuku nods, and taps the table. “We were wondering if you knew more about it? And the legend that’s attached to it?” Shoto asks. She laughs. “Oh, I was a young Tortle when the last bearer was here. How long ago was that?” She taps her chin. “35 years ago? Yes, she was a nice young lady. Was a dwarf, I think.” Eijiro gasps. “You knew the previous bearer?”
She nods, with a smile. “Oh, yes. Her name was Nana Shimura. She told me that she was on her way to a Dwarven City known as Panotha. Although I think nowadays it is just ruins. Rumor has it a great serpent destroyed it.” She sighs. She drones on, saying things about Panotha’s culture. Katsuki groans. “About the sword, Tsuyu?” He interrupts. She hits her forehead. “Oh, you youngsters, can’t appreciate art!” She shakes her head. “What is it you need to know?” She asks.
Izuku sighs. “Well, do you know anything about Lathander’s Lightning?” He asks. She nods, and tells them about the group of Lathander clerics, known as the Order of Light, who channel energy from the Light to keep the Darkness of Dendar at bay. She continues by saying that it is believed that there is an order of dark clerics of Dendar, known as the League of Darkness. They supposedly have the power to consume the world in darkness.
The only reason they haven’t, legend states, is because of the Mage of Luminescence. A very powerful individual who wielded a sword created by the Order of Light, imbued with magic power, in particular, Lathander’s Lightning. The sword was given to this great Mage of Light on the Summer Solstice; the longest day of the year. He fought the League of Darkness and was said to have stopped them.
“But...” She finishes. “I have heard rumors of strange cloaked figures with glowing eyes being abroad. They say that you see them, and then you blink, or look away, and POOF! They’d vanish!” Ochaco swallows. “You uh, said that their eyes were glowing. Were they purple?” Ochaco asks. Tsuyu frowns, and slowly nods. “Yes, I believe they did say that...” Eijiro frowns. “Do you know something, Ochaco?”
She pulls her hat down, concealing her face. “I think I may have seen people like that before...” She whispers, and everyone goes silent. “I uh, I saw a man sitting in the corner there.” She points towards the corner of the tavern. “He looked just like the man that made me a Mage of Dendar’s cult... but he disappeared when I looked over at you guys.” Momo frowns, as she grabs her sword.
“Miss Ochaco, why didn’t you say anything?” Ochaco bites the inside of her cheek. “Because I was hoping it was just my mind playing tricks on me.” Katsuki growls. “So what you’re saying is, we have a cult that wants to use a sword to destroy our world, a bunch of demons patrolling the streets, AND a creepy man that maybe has something to do with your past?” Ochaco nods.
Izuku frowns. “We need to find these guys, and fast.” Eijiro says. Shoto and Momo stand. “I think our best course of action is to head to Reneumel, as we know this cult has been there before.” Shoto says, the others nod. Tsuyu sighs. “I didn’t think I’d see two bearers in my lifetime, but may the Light shine upon you, dear Izuku; Mage of Luminescence!” Izuku clips the sword to his belt.
“Well, let’s move out, everyone. We must make haste.” Izuku says, and the six of them gather up their things, pay Tsuyu for the rooms, and rush down to the stable to retrieve their horses. They hop onto their horses, and head off to Reneumel.
Shoto sighs. “Lady Momo, you know the way to Reneumel, so lead us there.” She nods, as she urges her horse forward, with Ochaco riding behind her. “Where exactly is Reneumel?” Izuku asks, pouring over a map while riding behind Shoto.
“It's not on any map I've seen before.” He adds. Momo sighs. “You are no doubt aware of the East-West Road?” She asks, and he nods. “About 11 and a half leagues down that road is a crossroad, er, well, a new crossroad, that is called Rena Passage. Take that passage through Ghia Forest for 20 and a third leagues, and you've reached Reneumel.”
Izuku pulls out a graphite pencil, and draws the passage on his map, and the Kingdom of Reneumel to the northeast of the passage. “Huh, so we're not so far away from this place.” Katsuki says, as he and Eijiro ride closer to see Izuku's map.
Momo grips her horse's reins tightly. “It may be short distance-wise, but the shadow of Dendar looms over this small pass. We must be quiet and slow, so they do not see us coming.” She looks back at Shoto. “Especially not you, my lord. They would not want the heir of Reneumel to reclaim his throne.”
Shoto frowns. “All the more reason to get there safely.” He says. They go down the East-West Road for a while, the sun rising above the trees. Momo pulls her horse to a stop. “This is the crossroad. Keep an eye out for traps or ambushes.”
Izuku clears his throat. “I can help with that. Traps and ambushes are my area of expertise.” He climbs off of Shoto's horse, and walks ahead of the girls and Momo's horse. He does a full turnaround, but shakes his head. “I can't see anyone. But I do think we should exercise extreme caution.”
They keep on the passage, Izuku walking in front to keep his eyes out for traps or bandits. He holds his hand up, and pulls a dagger out. The party stops. Momo and Shoto grab hold of their greatswords. Izuku flings the dagger at the ground in front of them.
The dagger gets caught in a net, that flies up into a tree. “A net trap?” Ochaco asks. Izuku sighs. “Yeah, it appears so.” He climbs the tree, and undoes the trap. The dagger starts to fall, but he snags it out of the air, and hops down.
“Wow, Deku. SO COOL. Can we get back on track?” Katsuki asks, getting impatient. Izuku nods. “Let us move along then.” Shoto says. Thus the party began on their journey again. Eijiro looks around at all of the trees, and to him it felt like the forest closed in around him.
To Katsuki's annoyance, Eijiro repeatedly jumps at every little noise. A creak from a tree branch, a squirrel chattering, or a twig snapping under the horses' hooves were like the end of the world to him. Katsuki groans. “Scales? Can you do me the PLEASURE of not jumping at EVERY stupid noise in this forest?”
Eijiro whimpers. “S-sorry. As a Draconic, I admit I don't see wildlife much... We usually live in caves or deep in a mountain...” Katsuki grunts. “Well, get used to it.” He snaps. Izuku gasps. “Kacchan! Be nice!” Katsuki rolls his eyes. “Whatever, just try and contain your fear in a nice and quiet place in your brain.”
Eijiro nods. “Yeah, okay.” He looks around them, and the trees seem to have faces that are scowling at Eijiro. He swallows, and starts to pick at his scales to distract himself. Izuku glances around, still waiting for someone to ambush them. Ochaco looks ahead, and sees a cloaked figure. “Stop for a second.” She says, and hops down.
Momo frowns. “What is it, Miss Ochaco?” She asks. Ochaco walks closer to where she saw the figure. A taller fellow stands with his back turned ahead. She points him out to Izuku, and Izuku gets his shortsword out. Shoto, noticing the figure too, climbs off his horse.
“Do you think we can sneak by him?” He whispers, and Izuku taps his chin. “We'd have to be very stealthy.” Eijiro grins. “I can cast Pass Without Trace? So that we'll look like nothing?” He suggests. The others nod. “Yes, do that, please.” Ochaco says.
Eijiro closes his eyes, and chants in Draconic. A veil of shadows appear over them. Katsuki groans. “Not to sound ungrateful, Scales, but why didn't you do that at the beginning?” Eijiro's nose twitches. “I can only hold it for an hour, and can do it once a day...” He explains.
“Well, we can move fast in an hour, so let's get going.” Shoto says. He and Ochaco get back on their respective horses, and make their way towards the figure. As they get closer, they see that this figure is a man who has black hair.
He seems to have been severely burned. The skin under his eyes, his chin and neck are reddened, and held together by metal clippings. His eyes are blue not unlike blue flames. He lifts his arm up, to reveal that he also has burns there.
They walk up to him, and he looks up. Everyone freezes. “He can't see us or hear us, right?” Ochaco asks, her voice shaking. Eijiro frowns. “He shouldn't be able to...” The man furrows his brow, and walks closer. He stands right by Izuku, close enough that Izuku could stare him in the eyes.
Izuku starts to lift his shortsword, but the man shrugs. “Ugh, this forest gives me the creeps. Hopefully one day I'll be assigned to work for Mistress Dendar in Loyaci.” He says, as he walks back to the tree he had been standing by.
Ochaco gasps. “Loyaci is where I was born.” She says. Momo frowns. “Then you were born before no soul could enter there.” Momo sighs. “They say a dark spell rules the city of Loyaci...I have never thought to associate it to Dendar...”
Izuku grunts. “We'll have to check it out soon.” Izuku says. They agree, and rush out of the burnt man's sight. For although they are cloaked by Eijiro's spell, none of them wanted to overstay their welcome. They are rattled by this encounter.
They keep along the path, but it seems like the worst was behind them. They reach the wooden gate of Reneumel. Eijiro frowns, as he looks up at the gate. “Maybe you should reconsider using wood for this...” He says, and Momo grimaces.
“We don't have the funds nor the manpower to get anything stronger... As unfortunate as that may be.” Shoto sighs. “If all goes well, Eijiro, you can fix our defenses for us, seeing as how you're Draconic.” Shoto says, and Eijiro bows his head. “It'd be my honor.”
Momo climbs off her horse, and walks up to the guards at the gate. “Lady Yaoyorozu!” They say. Momo sighs. “Yes, I have returned. Have Sir Iida, Sir Ojiro, Sir Aoyama, and Lady Kaminari returned? I sent them to search for Sako Atsuhiro.”
The guard shakes his head. “I'm afraid not, my Lady.” She sighs. “Very well. I'm sure they will find their quarry.” The guard nods. “Indeed they will!” He turns around and looks through a slit in the door. “Open the gates, Lady Yaoyorozu returns!”
Multiple voices can be heard shouting “yes, sir!” The gates open, and Momo grabs the reins of her horse, and guides him towards the open gates. Shoto and Katsuki guide their horses behind her, and after they are inside, the guards pull the door closed. They ride into the city, which consists of stone houses, and small wooden stands and stalls. Momo explains that since the attack of the dragon and now with the Cult destroying most of the buildings, no one have the resources or the time to make elaborate buildings.
They stop at a small stable at the foot of a mound. A man with yellow hair walks up to them. He has a black streak in his hair on the left side. Momo walks up to him, and hands him the reins. “Take care of these horses.” She says, and he nods. He motions for the others to come closer. “I shall put the horses into a safe place, ma’am.” She smiles, as Ochaco gets off the horse.
“Has Kyoka came back?” The man asks, looking concerned. Momo shakes her head. “No word has been heard, Mr. Kaminari.” He bites his lip. “Oh. Very well, I’m sure she’ll be back soon.” He says, as he pulls Momo’s horse towards the stable. Shoto and Izuku hop on Shoto’s horse, which disappears as Shoto releases his hold on the spell. Eijiro hops off, bumping Katsuki on the way down. Katsuki grumbles for him to watch it.
He walks up to the stable hand, and smiles. “Hello, I’m Eijiro Kirishima!” He holds his hand out, and the man chuckles. “Denki Kaminari.” He says, and sighs. Eijiro notices his dejected state, and frowns. “What is the problem, friend?” Eijiro asks. Denki plays with a ring on his left ring finger. “My wife, Kyoka, is a paladin. It appears that she hasn’t come back from her mission yet.”
Eijiro smiles. “Oh, I see. It must be hard to have a wife as a paladin...” Denki nods. “It has been a challenge, but we make it work.” Katsuki grunts. “Can you make friends later, Scales? We kind of need to work out some things?” Katsuki says, exasperated. Eijiro frowns. “Oh, my bad!” He turns around. Momo points up to the mound. “My lord’s palace is up there.” A building is at the top, it has a stone staircase which seems to be carved into the face of it, leading up to the wooden building.
They all make their way up, and the sides of the stairs have stones carved out onto the sides. Once they reach the top, there is a roof over the entrance which has three arches, made of red-ish stone. The building has a picture of a sun on a horizon overlooking water on the front, towards the roof. On the roof, is two cats with their heads intertwined, made of gold. 2 buttresses extend from the sides, with cats on top, overlooking the palace.
Two flagpoles with golden threaded flags that have the same symbol as the building on them stand nearby. There is also a bench made of metal there. Momo leads them to the entrance, and stops. “My lord, please head on in.” She says. Shoto steps forward to see the large wooden doors have cats in gold inlay on them. Katsuki chuckles. “You elves are obsessed with cats, huh?” He asks. Ochaco hits him.
“It’s the visage of Lathander, nitwit!” She says. Shoto nods. Katsuki rubs his arm, but keeps silent. Izuku walks up to the door, and runs his finger along the inlay. Eijiro frowns. “Quite a lot work went into this building... You really need defenses.” He remarks. Shoto pushes the doors open, and sighs. “We can figure that out soon.” Shoto says.
He walks in, with Izuku and Eijiro behind him, with Ochaco, Katsuki, and Momo in the back. Shoto looks around, there are 8 pairs of circular wooden supports with white cloth around them. For each pair, and arch connects them, with golden inlay in it. They look up to see banners not unlike the flags outside hang from the rafters. There are wooden tables under the arches, and they have white and gold rugs running down the middle.
Three candelabras hang over the middle, with candles burning brightly in them. They walk past a door on the left, which Momo says leads to the King’s Quarters and other such chambers. They reach the back, where the throne lies. It is elevated by three steps. Over them is a large arch, and two smaller ones either side of it, held up by thin wood pillars. Above the arches is a carving of the symbol on the flags and the front of the buildings.
Ochaco gasps. “This place is beautiful!” She says. Momo smiles. “Thank you.” She says. Katsuki grunts and goes to sit at one of the tables, and Eijiro follows. In the wall behind the throne itself are pillars and arches. In each is a different colored banner with the symbol on them. From left to right the colors are; green, red, yellow, blue, and finally black. Shoto walks up the steps, and stands before the throne.
It’s wooden and is engraved with various designs of cats and suns. He kneels, placing his hand on the seat. Izuku frowns. “Something wrong, Shoto?” He asks. Shoto swallows. “You recreated Father’s throne?” He asks, turning to Momo. She shakes her head. “That’s the original.” Shoto scoffs. “But the castle was razed to the ground!” He says, standing up. She shakes her head again.
“No, the throne room survived.” She says. Shoto laughs. “That arrogant, impossible fool... even when destroying his own kingdom, he couldn’t let go of symbol of his power.” He looks at the throne in contempt. Ochaco frowns. “You really don’t like him, huh?” She asks. Izuku sighs. “He’s dead.” Izuku explains. Momo gasps. “You saw him die?” She asks.
Shoto nods, and explains what happened at the Draconic Cave on the Myki Pass. “So, he was a servant of Dendar then...” Momo says, as she methodically rubs the hilt of her greatsword. Both Shoto and Izuku nod. “And your Draconic friend ended him.” She adds, looking over at Eijiro, who is laughing at something Katsuki said. Again, they nod. “How do you know that he isn’t the one that...?” She whispers.
Shoto bites his lip. “I admit the thought has crossed my mind. But I do not think he is the Draconic that destroyed Neumel. I saw that one. That one was pink. Father said he was gonna spare me.. Said I had a purpose.” They others frown. “That’s not ominous at ALL.” Ochaco says. The doors to the palace swing open, one of the paladins that were with Momo burst through them. He is a rather tall man, with glasses. They hang on a hinge on the brim of his nose.
“My lady! My lord! Come outside!” He says, panting. Momo looks at Shoto and back at the paladin. “What is going on, Sir Iida?” She asks, and the paladin looks back towards the city. “The League! Their attacking the village!” Katsuki jumps up. “That’s bad, right?” He asks, as Shoto pulls out his greatsword. “Have no fear, I shall take care of this.” He says, running towards the door, and pushing past the paladin. “My lord!” Momo shouts, as she runs after him.

I admit I take loads of inspiration from D&D things, and Lord of the Rings in this au story. In fact Reneumel is heavily inspired by Edoras (capital of Rohan in LotR). I also based the palace off of the Golden Hall in Edoras.
(For those who don't know, I LOVE LOTR. And Dungeons and Dragons, although I haven't played it before).
