Anakin's had a crush on Padmé since fourth grade, and after putting up with his pining for seven years, Obi-Wan and Ahsoka are finally stepping in and making a bet that he can't ask her to junior prom in the spring. Meanwhile, Padmé is realizing that Anakin isn't as annoying as she'd always thought. In fact, her feelings towards him are starting to go in quite the opposite direction...
Snow Place Like Home
For genre-typical convoluted reasons involving ill-timed blizzards, Padmé is forced to spend the holidays at Anakin's house. Anakin isn't as upset about his boss staying with him for Christmas as he probably should be.
Second Chances
When Luke Amidala and Leia Skywalker meet at summer camp, they're shocked to discover that they're long-lost twins. The logical next step? Getting their estranged parents back together.
I usually avoid Parent traps AU just because I dislike it as a setup, but when it comes to Anidala a bitch is desperate, and this was a cute and fun one, I really enjoyed it!

A Worthy Sacrifice
Chancellor Palpatine has dropped the act and decided to rule the galaxy openly as Darth Sidious. His reign wouldn’t be half as successful without his unhinged attack dog Darth Vader, a much rumoured warbringer who appears in black robes with a saber red as blood and brings even the strongest revolutionaries to their knees.
Padmé is not only fighting for her home country but the freedom of the known regions and she is desperate to turn the tides of this war which is why she agrees to the deal Sidious offers her:
A child with this favourite Sith Lord in exchange for her home: Naboo.
This is one of my favourite fics with this trope!

There are very few people who know the location of the Rebel Alliance’s base on Naboo. Even fewer who know the names of any of the people who work there.
So when Padmé gets up on a cold morning, the windows frosted and harsh wind rattling the doors of the large house that’s been the headquarters of the Alliance for nearly two decades, to see a package with her name on it sitting on the doorstep, her heart stops in her chest.

Do u have any anidala/vaderdala fic recs?
unfortunately, i don’t have many (the anidala ao3 tag is a nightmare to sort through) but i do have some old favorites from back in the day! the boy next door and the girl from harvard by shelivesfree are anidala bibles to me. i probably read the boy next door a thousand times. i also really loved i know your type and i’d be thrilled if the author finished it one day. recently, i read saturn devours his children by tridentarius that made me feel viscerally ill in a very good way. honestly, if anybody could give me anidala recs i would really appreciate it😭❤️

My favorite anidala/vaderdala au is Empress Padme and her sexy Sith husband who is also the commander of Impiral army. They spoil their kids rotten and have a loving realtionship. Padme was once Palpatine daughter or niece who conspired with Vaderkin to kill him and they fell in love while plotting
I definitely love that trope as well.
Happy and good Anidala makes me happy, but there is something about evil Anidala that gets me going. Especially since you can do it without them being too OOC. Obviously, Padmé was for democracy in canon, but other than that, most fics exploring this has her close to canon.
If anyone has any recs exploring this, let me know.

I’ve been asked for a long time for my fanfiction recommendations, so I’ve finally taken the time to compile them. If there are any you love that I missed out (this includes Vaderdala!) leave them as a reply so we can all have a good time reading together.

- talk shit about rey and i block you — the sequel trilogy failed in the way it treated its characters, not because of rey skywalker; and here’s my monologue about that
- if you blame qui-gon or obi-wan for what happened, i legitimately hate you <3 also, the jedi were shit in several aspects but they also were not, and i have another monologue here on why some of you need to ease up
- she was a terror in the mandalorian, but i still like bo-katan. on the other hand, rose tico did nothing wrong and if i see you diss her i will block you. same goes for mace windu! we love a king (but that whole jango thing was mean, sir)
- i believe ben had a bad childhood and that therefore means han and leia were not compatible, but the unrealistic hopeless romantic in me refuses to accept that, so this is why i prefer to forget ben exists sometimes :’)
- reimagining characters (such as padmé) as poc will always always always be okay and encouraged

m rated vaderdala fic refs???
I haven’t read a lot of Vaderdala fics. The only one I had time to read was Cast Away by Rogue Darth Skywalker which is about Jedi!Padme and Vader.
Oh wait, there’s also this one from @lethargicmouse. It’s also about Jedi!Padme but it also has Suitless!Vader.
There’s also For a Sith to Love a Jedi by ArgentumSol(SilverDaye) which followss a similar story. I haven’t read this one, but it is on my list I guess. I think both Cast Away and this one are inspired by the Vaderdala fanart of @aggressive--negotiations/ @good-call-my-young-padawan.
There’s also this fic rec list by @claranidala. She does say that some of those are rated m. I haven’t read any of them, but I trust her judgement.

Everything I’ve read by them is absolutely fantastic, and believe me, I’ve read pretty much everything from them. Multiple times in some cases. They’re just very good. Anidala is definitely one of the most annoying ship to be completely obsessed with because there’s so many fucking fics under the ao3 tag and yet I can’t find anything to read, because people keep tagging them on stories where they’re a very background relationship.

There's just sooo many ahhh. I have another ask about Vaderdala so these fics are only Anidala. Here are my top 3 in no particular order:
Across the Centuries - This was one of the first ones I ever read, I think. This one is so bittersweet and I love the idea of them being reincarnated and falling in love every time.
Heart and Soul - This is an Eros/Psyche AU. Who doesn't love mythology?
Summer Rain - Anidala wedding. Need I say more?
My other favorites-
Whole - Kind of a missing scene between Geonosis and the wedding and I am all for more canon-compliant fics. Really sweet.
Purity - Wedding night fic. Kinda dark and sad but deep.
A Rose in the Deeps - Short fic but the writing is soooo beautiful.
Drops of Mustafar - Anidala story told by a unnamed narrator as a legend.

Do you have any Anidala or vaderdala FanFiction recommendations?
I do! Another anon was asking for recs too so I’m answering for you both.
Frankly, I haven’t read most of the popular fics because either they are too long and I never completed reading them or because I think they are based on TCW’s and now Disney’s interpretation of the characters (which is fine, of course, just not my cup of tea). I mostly read one-shots or completed short fics.
