Derek Riggs [drew the majority of Iron Maiden’s album covers] has had a chokehold on me and my art style since very early on. I can’t replicate his style by any means, but I’ve taken a lot of influence from him as for subject matter and zombie-like facial expressions.

I had this desire to completely redo a very old character of mine from like, mid 2000s - I have no clue what his original story was way back when, or if he even had one. Really there's not much left of his original design cause it was kinda boring, if I'm honest. But now he's better than ever (or maybe worse).

Formally a monster/vampire hunter, Nihil (so nicknamed by his current master, cause poor thing is Nothing to him) got his butt kicked on his last job, lost half his face, died, and then was revived only to be a thrall/ghoul for a rather sadistic necromancer. He doesn't remember a thing from before he died and mindlessly listens to his master because he really has no other choice and doesn't know any better, "living" under the assumption that the people he's killing are Not Good People.

Haven't quite figured out what I want his personality to be quite yet, aside from quiet and imposing. Honestly don't think even he knows what he's like, he just kind of exists and goes since he doesn't need to eat or sleep or anything.

A portrait of beloved professor Elias Scrimshaw. Elias is one of the stranger creatures from the species exchange program. An intelligent parasitic entity that can live in and manipulate a host's body for hundreds of years. Elias's species keep active only the bodily systems that are most needed, such as those involved in locomotion and eating. The unessential parts of the body are consumed, often Reducing the host species to what is essentially an animated husk which is kept preserved with a special cocktail of antibacterial fluids produced in Elias's strange asymmetric body. His preferred field of study deals with the biomechanics and life cycles of extraterrestrial parasites. His unique perspective and insight has offered great leaps in interstellar medicine by helping provide treatments for rare and often deadly parasitic infections. Not wanting to offend his host planet he took over the form of a stray cat which he assumed to be a local source of food before realizing it was in fact a common household pet. He has since expressed his deepest apologies for this mix up and has advised cat lovers to perhaps reconsider taking his class.
