Predator And Prey

hunter x hunter⚡️

Summary: Gon and Killua play a simple game of predator and prey. But what if the predator knows your weaknesses?

After a loud rainstorm

that seemed to have lasted forever, the sun finally peaked out and shined its bliss on all of the land. Dew droplets were on pretty green grass, beautiful blossoming flowers showed their colors in the light, and strong, tall trees glistened in the warmth of the sun. If you took a minute to stop and listen, you could hear the birds singing a glorious tune.

But who had time for that?

The rushing sound

of footsteps that were pounding on the floor awoke Gon from his daydream. Followed by the statement:

“IM CATCHING UP!”

A platinum blonde shadow

bolted past all of the greenery and floral, scaring away all the singing birds. The green tipped haired boy immediately rushed to his feet and took off.

He ran as fast as he could

but the sound of panting echoed behind him. As soon as he knew it he was tackled to the ground with:

“GOTCHA!”

“Got you again! What was that..? Fourth time?”Killua teased as he pinned the poor hunter to the floor. Gon rolled his eyes at the feat with his face a light pink of embarrassment.

“Oh big whoop! We both know your stronger AND faster! Besides.. I could beat you any day with you as prey.” Gon whispered under his breath, praying that Killua wouldn’t hear.

Killua did in fact hear the remark and a sudden flash of aggravation flushed over him but he took a minute recognize Gon’s position. The hunters arms were over his head and killua had straddled his knees so he quite frankly, couldn’t move. Instead of anger a big smirk was plastered on his face.

“What was that? I couldn’t quite hear you.” Killua pestered with one of his hands in a claw position ready to strike.

“Hm? Oh uhm.. nothing! It was nothing!” Gon snapped back immediately.

“Your funeral.”

The platinum blondie started to poke and prod at Gon’s sides, counting each rib, trying to be as gentle as possible.

“Killuhaha that tihihickles!” Gon attempted to protest through small muffled giggles, moving his torso in the process since that was to only part of his body that was mobile.

“Oh? I dihidn’t notice. My bahad, I’ll stop.” Killua mocked as he moved to a different position from poking his ribs to scratching gently under his arms.

“NoHOho!! ThahAh’ts wohorse!!” Gon exclaimed as his once muffled giggles went up an octave as he squirmed as his attempt to cover them seemed to wear off.

“That STILL tickles? Jeez, aren’t you picky.” Killua rolled his eyes and stated with sarcasm as he thought to move from his underarms to a weak spot. He began to delicately squeeze his knees.

“KIHILLUAHA!!!” Gon screeched as he arched his back a little bit. Honestly they were both in anticipation. Killua, to see how long Gon would last, and Gon, to see how more he could take. And when Killua would strike.

“Gosh, I can’t focus with you laughing. Hey! Guess what your punishment is!” Killua asked as he began position his self to where Gon could only move the lower half of his body with his hands stuck.

“Are you going to tickle mehe?”

“Ding ding ding!”

He finally dove in. His hands were so agile and fast, Gon didn’t know how to react. At first they were at his thighs, then knees, then underarms, then neck then stomach, and the whole process would repeat.

“Hey Gon I have a song I wanna sing you! Do you wanna hear it?” Killua asked the poor hunter and waited for his answer.

“NOHOHOHO STOHOHOP!!” Was all that came out of Gon’s wide smile.

“No!? How rude! Oh well, your opinion doesn’t matter anyways! Here goes nothin’!” Killua stated as he began to count Gon’s:

Every.

Individual.

Rib.

This sent the poor boy into hysterics as he kicked left and right. Whereas killua wanted to be as safe as possible, knowing that his claws could kill Gon, he had to be very very very gentle.

“The itsty bitsy spiiider went up the water spout. Down came the- ugh Gon!! Can you stop laughing!? Now I have to restart!” Killua teased as he repeated the song from the beginning.

“KIHIHILLUAHAAA NOHOHO! THIHIS IHIS CRUHUEL!!” Gon screamed as his eyes started to fill with tears as he arched his back, shook his head and kicked his legs.

“Cruel? Me? How dare you!! This calls for maximum punishment.” The younger hunter began to cease his assault and take a deep breath while raising Gon’s shirt.

He took the biggest breath he could take, waited a few seconds, and-

“PBBLLLFFTTTTT!!!!!”

Gon.

Went.

Ballistic.

It felt like.. well words couldn’t describe it. Like a bajillion bolts of lightning flowing through your veins. Or.. a million feathers in your ear or.. whatever the point is IT TICKLED LIKE CRAZY.

After that raspberry Killua finally stopped his tickle attack for what seemed like ages, praying that Gon was still alive.

“Hey, you okay?” Killua asked with genuine concern.

“okay..? okay? IM MORE THAN OKAY!” Gon said as he jumped up to his feet, teary eyed and pink.

“That’s a relief!” Killua exclaimed as he slowly stood up and dusted off his shorts.

“This time though..” Gon started.

“I wanna be predator.”

I like the idea that Leo and usagi didn't like each other in the beginning. They act so similarly, even with their bad traits, which can be an uncanny feeling.

Usagi rarely gets mad, but when he does it's really intense to the point his whole body shakes, he tends to avoid conflict unless it's battle related.
