Thinking of design again
I made a post before that I still standby that the Encom system is more contemporary 80s design meets a computer where as the grid is “cybercore” and I still stand by that, but this is me pushing a little further and looking at actual design. One of the best things I can recommend when it comes to writing/drawing inspiration for spaces in the digital world is Pinterest. He’s some examples
Encom-
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A computer meets 80s contemporary and shapes!!! The Encom system is a lot more abstract than the grid , it’s much more it’s own world than a full reflection of the users. Shapes! Shapes! Shapes! Another aspect I absolutely adore is that it also leans hard into looking like aspects of a computers insides from wire to circuit boards. I can see conversation pits all the rage in the system instead of regular “normal” shaped chairs etc
Grid-
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s the subway station, airport terminal to Encom’s space age hotel. A lot more late 80s, early 90s influence in how things are designed. Despite the system being mostly abstracts it’s actually the grid that’s much more liminal, it has furniture and mass to everything a very user vibe but also… not enough, huge spaces but not enough in them to feel right- everything looks uncomfortable even though you can tell what it is. Tron isn’t a “Cyberpunk” but I think people tend to call it that as a lot of legacy’s visuals are more generic and not distinctly computer?

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau visited Jimmy Kimmel to talk about his new Bloomberg Media series An Optimist’s Guide To The Planet.
He said Game of Thrones has been a great icebreaker when talking to people around the world in the new series.
He didn't run into any dragons though he did talk to a scientist who discovered plastic-eating worms.

Gosh I Need Movies Like "Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves"!
Frankly, I'm still a bit surprised by how much I love "Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves". I mean, I was very much looking forward to the movie because everything about it just felt right, and I even noticed some fear of disappointment when finally entering the cinema. But it did not disappoint. Gosh, how it did not disappoint.
There's so much for me to love about this movie. To name just three things, it has
a marvelously told story (the exposition was quite nice, but the escape from Revel's End prison really set the stage for that hell of a ride which followed),
a very inspired cast playing absolutely dashing characters (I now have a crush on at least two of the main characters! 😅), and
visual effects and set designs with creativity and attention to detail that I have not seen in what feels like an eternity (the very first shot of Neverwinter already made me want to see this city in all its lovely details).
So yes, I left the cinema as overwhelmed and enthusiastic as I had hoped to be. And much to my personal joy you guys here at Tumblr opened up just another level on which this lovely little movie could excel: I have never played "Dungeons and Dragons" (I know a lot about the mechanics and lore thanks to "Munchkin", though 😅), so reading about how much the movie feels like a true DnD session was very insightful, and it even made me see some of its flaws in a new light.
And then it struck me: "Honor Among Thieves" is that very rare type of movie that I really, really need from time to time. A true feel-good movie whose production process brought people together to tell a special story that usually has already been around in some form before. A fantastic, entertaining tale that can be enjoyed - and I cannot stress enough how important that is - utterly unironically and unapologetically.
The first movie of this type that I remember watching is "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow" from 2004, and it has been one of my absolute favorites for a long, long, time. So much energy, and so much fun! But there are more. I'm talking about movies like "The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy" (2005), "The Men Who Stare at Goats" (2009), "Tron: Legacy" (2010), "Real Steel" (2011), "John Carter" (2012), and "Booksmart" (2019). Yeah, that kinda was an advertisement for films I still have a crush on. Sorry not sorry.
The downside of this type of movie, because of course there's a downside: They only seldom make a profit. And "Honor Among Thieves" is not an exception to this rule, having grossed about 125 Million USD worldwide at the box office so far, while costing roughly 150 Million. But you know what? That's fine. Big Hollywood studios regularly make a fortune with mainstream blockbuster stuff that I don't even care to remember after I skipped the advertisement promoting it, so it's only fair for them to make a monetarily stupid decision from time to time that will make me oh so happy.
So, long story short: As long as studios like Paramount Pictures keep making marvellous darlings of a potential (or actual) flop like "Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves", I will not even begin to begrudge the obscene amounts of money they get from too-big-to-fail box office hits like "Top Gun: Maverick".

Team Tadpole: Modern AU Disney World Edition
A friend and I started riffing on what would happen if Team Tadpole went to Disney World.
Halsin 100% has a different ear headband for every day of the trip
Astarion tries to pretend he's too cool for everything, but is in fact loving it and gets a little emotional when they go for lunch at Be Our Guest
Minthara is just wondering how in the hell she was talked into this for the first half of the trip but betrays her growing enthusiasm by screaming gleefully on Tron.
Wyll gets blushy and nervous at all the princess meet-and-greets (Astarion does not let him live this down)
They go to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Lae'zel spends the entire time repeatedly riding Space Mountain because it's the one time it's 100% dark and as intense as Disney gets (she whines about going to Universal where they have "real rollercoasters")
Eating around the world: Gale, Halsin Drinking around the world: Astarion, Shadowheart, Karlach
Halsin laughs at all the dad jokes on the Jungle Cruise, Minthara seethes quietly, Astarion mumbles about whether he'd get banned from the park for jumping overboard
Karlach nearly gets the Mad Tea Party ride shut down for decontamination by spinning her teacup so hard the other occupants nearly lose their lunch
Minsc ties helium balloons to Boo until he floats. Otherwise he's carrying stuffies and huge amounts of food ("Gale, my foodie friend! Cheeseburger spring rolls; we must try these!")
Gale organizes the itinerary around dinner reservations (he's still a little sad everyone was like "HELL NO, GALE" when he floated the idea of doing the $425-per-person Chef's Table dinner at Victoria and Albert's)
"Which one would just run off and start causing chaos?" "Oh, Karlach. 100%. Well-meaning chaos, but chaos nonetheless."
Smuggler's Run positions: Pilot: Lae'zel, Shadowheart, Minthara (fistfight narrowly avoided by Jaheira splitting them into two groups) Gunner: Karlach, Wyll, Astarion Engineer: Gale, Halsin, Minsc
After the first 30 seconds of hearing the song on "Journey into Imagination" Astarion, Minthara and Lae'zel start discussing how they would like to kill Figment and settle on disembowelment (we will not discuss how "It's a Small World" goes)
Astarion and Shadowheart are Big Mad that the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is for children only, because they are pretty pretty princesses. Karlach is sad for the same reason but manages to badger everyone (except Minthara) into getting pixie dusted, meaning they're all finding glitter on their clothing (and elsewhere) for weeks.
Halsin makes everyone take the train to Rafiki's Planet Watch just so he can pet the goats
Crying at "Happily Ever After" fireworks: Astarion, Karlach, Minsc Cuddling their crying partner: Halsin, Wyll, Gale Using the fireworks to ride the rides with no lineup: Lae'zel, Jaheira, Shadowheart, Minthara
Most likely to have watched every All Ears/Mammoth Club/Disney Food Blog guide: Gale, Lae'zel
Mostly likely do have done a reasonable amount of research and preparation: Wyll, Minthara, Jaheira, Shadowheart, Halsin
Least likely to have looked at anything that has the faintest whiff of planning prior to the trip, including the weather forecast: Astarion (therefore also most likely to have to spend $$$ for a spirit jersey because he didn't pack warm enough clothing.)
Most likely to figure out on the first day how to game Genie+ and makes it their life's work to get the most lightning lanes possible and the earliest Guardians of the Galaxy/Tron virtual queue boarding group: Lae'zel and Minthara
Halsin seriously suggests staying on a tent/RV campsite at Fort Wilderness; Astarion votes for concierge-level Grand Floridian
Person who always asks to squeeze in one more ride on Pirates of the Caribbean: Wyll Person who somehow always gets wettest on Pirates of the Caribbean: Gale or Astarion

Fooled Around {{Steve Harrington x Reader}}
A/N: just another oneshot, this one is based on the song Fooled Around and Fell in Love by Elvin Bishop. hope y'all enjoy <3
wc: 1.3k
warnings: just fluff <3
Tumblr media
Steve had been looking for the right one. I mean, he was out of high school and working full time, now he just needed the perfect girl for the perfect family. But he couldn’t seem to find her, even with his job at the movie rental store. He’d see pretty women, flirt a little, lay on the charm, then go on maybe one date, have maybe one night of hornier activities and then be on to the next. None of them were right, none of them made him know what he wanted.  Until you, at least. You hadn’t lived in Hawkins long, but you had gone to your last year of high school there and quickly found out about the legendary Steve “The Hair” Harrington. You, like many of the girls, found him cute but he was with Nancy Wheeler until he wasn’t and by then you had other things to focus on. You initially wanted to go to college, but your dad convinced you to take a few gap years to grow up and get some money, which of course led you to your current job at a record store. Thankfully enough you were a huge music fanatic, so you had no issues sitting and listening to classics and making recommendations to kind people that came through the store. One day you were on your way to work around noon and decided it would be fun to sit and watch a movie when you got home so you changed paths to guide yourself to the little movie rental place a few blocks from your job. You walked in and greeted the scruffy haired girl as you looked around. You spotted another guy in the uniform and smiled, recognizing him as Steve and giggling. It was kind of funny to see him working here, though he did have an ice cream job the year before so maybe not THAT weird. He was talking to some girl, flirting, and recommending movies before she said something about watching the movie with her boyfriend. Upon her saying that Steve sighed, shaking his head, and continuing saying the boyfriend wouldn’t like the movie he just suggested and suggesting a different one before walking off.  He began to walk towards the scruffy haired girl who pointed to you with a wide grin. Steve turned to look at you as you looked through various movies to rent. He fixed his hair before walking over to you, leaning on the big shelf that held the movies. “Hey, uh, what kind of movie you lookin for? I can give a good suggestion.” His voice was soft and kind, not overly flirty which felt nice. You met his eyes and smiled. “Steve, right?” You asked. He looked back at the girl at the counter before shrugging and nodding. “Yeah, you uh, know me?” He replied, shifting nervously as a confused look took over his soft complexion. You laughed and nodded, looking him up and down before replying. “Yeah, we graduated the same year. Though we didn’t have any classes together, so you probably don’t know me.” You shrug, crossing your arms to mimic his stance. “Oh, and for movies, I’m wanting one with an amazing soundtrack.” He didn’t want to seem rude and confirm your statement of his lack of memory of you. His eyebrows raised at your condition.  “Any specific genre?” You shrugged and shook your head no and he shrugged. “Alright then I’d probably recommend, Footloose, it’s a classic and has some really good music. Tron is also a good one, this kid I know thinks it’s one of the best movies in history.” He chuckled and shook his head, his hands now on his hips. He looked down as he shook his head before looking at you through his eyebrows. You smiled and laughed; you hadn’t seen Tron but at the mention of Footloose you knew what you wanted to watch. “Hm, I’ll have to go with Footloose. I love that movie.” You reminisce on the premise of the goofy movie and the iconic song and dance. Steve nods and laughs, “You have good taste. It’s an obvious classic.” You smile as he hands you the VCR of the movie before moving towards the girl.
“Oh uh, hey, maybe we could go out sometime. Then I can learn your name.” He smiled, giving you a cheeky wink and you gushed at the affection. “Yeah, I think I’d like that.” You laughed a bit before digging in your bag, you found a journal for songs and rip a corner out. You quickly scribbled your name and number and handed it to him before getting your movie and leaving to head off to work. Your encounter with Steve was about 3 months ago. Since then, y’all had gone on a few dates and eventually began dating. Y’all had only put a label on it after you had met his right-hand man, Dustin, who approved of you and your opinions of Tron. Now you and Steve were having a casual Friday night date at his house. Since his parents weren’t home y’all decided not to hide in his room for once and he made you a not so fancy plate of spaghetti. You both laughed and teased each other while eating. “So, what made me so different Steve?” You poked at a question that he often tried to avoid, mostly because he didn’t have a charming answer to give you. He straightened up a bit, slowly swallowing the gob of spaghetti he had just stuffed in his mouth. He looked around your face for an answer before shrugging. “I guess I just fooled around and fell for you.” He said it so plainly, like it was so obvious. You gushed at his words and giggled. “You almost just said the name of one of my favorite songs.” You comment, eating some of your spaghetti after. “Oh yeah? What song would that be?” Even though he knew the answer he decided he should ask you anyways.  He always admired how much you loved to talk about music. And you really could go on for hours at a time about songs, soundtracks, anything music related. “Fooled Around and Fell in Love, Elvin Bishop 1975.” You stated your acclaimed favorite song and watched as he nodded, wiping his mouth with a rag before getting up. He walked over to you and offering a hand for you to get up. You took his hand with a little giggle and a questioning expression on your face. He pulled you to his living room where he moved his coffee table and pulled out a little cassette and placed it in his dad’s fancy cassette player. Fooled Around and Fell in Love slowly began to fill the room. You laughed as Steve met you in the center of the rug, he grabbed your hand and pulled you close.  You instinctually placed your arms around his neck and lean into him. His hands find your hips and you both began to sway along to the song. You leaned your head on his chest, snuggling your nose into the crook of his neck. In return he gently rested his chin on the top of your head. As the chorus began you heard his silky-smooth voice begin to sing. “I fooled around and fell in loooooveee” You giggled and pressed yourself farther into him. His hands slowly moved to fully snake around your waist. You both swayed there in the center of the room as the song slowly faded to an end. Though once it had ended neither of you stopped swaying. You looked up to your boyfriend and leaned in to give him a soft kiss on the lips. He returned the soft gesture and you hummed into his soft lips. “I love you Steve Harrington.” You purred against his lips after pulling away and he smiled, kissing you again. “I love you too Y/N L/N” He mumbled back.

can i ask for you to write something where jack and the reader are sitting courtside yk being cutesy and all and during the game a player is hurtling straight toward them and jack gets up and blocks the reader with his body facing her like a shield then they all laugh it off and kiss making a cute jumbo tron moment?
“I got you, always.”
Tumblr media
You were attending your first basketball game with Jack, you were super self conscious because you had just went public and this would be your first public appearance together. You weren’t sure what to expect, considering Jack had never been in a serious public relationship before.
You were trying to put on a brave face but it was undeniably scary. Jack on the other hand was all smiles, he felt good finally being able to be honest with his fans and not having to hide his relationship anymore. You both had moved in together about a month ago so this was obviously serious to the both of you.
You were putting the finishing touches on your makeup when he came up behind you. “You look beautiful” he smiled and you looked at him through the mirror “you’re not bad yourself” you smirked.
“Do you like the jersey?” He showed you the back of it it said “Harlow” in blinged out crystals. “OOOH, I want one!” You said excitedly.
“I thought you’d say that” he smirked, holding up a jersey for you. “Baby!” You hugged him, looking up at him and standing on your tiptoes to kiss him.
“I know, I know. I’m the best boyfriend ever” he smirked and you giggled.
“You don’t think it’s too much for our first public thingy?” You said nervously.
He knew you had been worried about it all day, he understood why. “Baby, people are always going to have something to say but as long as you’re with me I’ll protect you as much as I can” he smiled down at you, and you nodded. You knew he was right, so you nodded taking the jersey from him and looked for some shoes to wear.
You grabbed some black and white dunks and looked over at him “wait, should I wear new balance? Does that kind of thing matter?” He could tell you were overthinking everything now. He laughed a little at that, sitting next to you on the bed “wear whatever you want, it’s fine babe.”
You sat down next to him and he motioned for you to put your legs in his lap so he could tie your shoes for you. You blushed at the interaction, you always loved “acts of service” as a love language.
On the way to the basketball game you watched as the man you loved became incredibly overprotective of your energy. He handed you some sunglasses as the two of you got out of the car and walked into the venue, he held your hand walking in front of you and guiding you to your court side seats. You were incredibly attracted to the energy he was exuding.
You knew there would be a lot of eyes on the two of you but Jack did his best to keep you distracted. He was making little jokes and poking fun at you, trying to get you to loosen up and relax. You started to feel the worry lift off of you, “thanks for this babe” you smiled and he did too “for what?”
“Always making sure I’m comfortable I guess” you wanted to kiss him but didn’t know if you were allowed to, so you eyed his lips and he took the hint. He leaned in giving you a lingering kiss. “You can kiss me babe” he laughed, “you worry too much.”
“Better than not worrying enough” you laughed and he smirked at that “that’s true.”
When the game started and you got more into it, Jack couldn’t help but keep all eyes on you. He loved how into the game you were getting, it was in a split second that you both realized a player hurling toward the two of you, falling backward. Jack stood up, his back facing the court and his front facing you. The player hitting the back of Jack and apologizing. Luckily they were both relatively the same build and height so Jack wasn’t affected much. “Are you okay?” He asked and you smiled, your eyes glistening at how attracted to him you were in this moment. “Yeah, are you?” He sat back down next to you.
“I’m fine” he smiled, grabbing your hand. “That was almost bad” you confessed and Jack nodded “I told you, I got you always.” He leaned in giving you a kiss, it was then that you heard the stadium cheer and tons of “AWWWS” coming from the crowd. You both pulled away and saw yourselves on the jumbotron, the both of you turning bright red and you covering your face. Jack just laughed and waved as his name showed up across the jumbotron.
When you left for the evening, you and Jack walked hand in hand as you left the court. “Thanks for tonight” you hummed and he smiled at you “nobody I’d rather wear matching jerseys with.”

TRON games discounted up to 75% during the Steam Spring 2024 sale
Tumblr media
The Steam Spring 2024 sale has started, and TRON games are discounted up to 75% off until March 21, 2024!
TRON 2.0 ($2.49 USD): https://store.steampowered.com/app/327740/TRON_20/
TRON RUN/r ($9.99 USD for Ultimate Edition with all DLC): https://store.steampowered.com/app/392000/TRON_RUNr/
TRON Identity ($11.99 USD): https://store.steampowered.com/app/2109430/Tron_Identity/
While you can install and play the games as-is, I’d recommend checking out these guides on Steam if you want to experience the games at their best:
TRON 2.0 Steam guide: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=325088441
TRON RUN/r Steam guide: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=585222834
Even though the guides are hosted on the Steam site, the advice in the TRON 2.0 guide also applies to the GOG (and Retail disc) version. Modding the game will add support for widescreen display resolutions, and even fix the broken Multiplayer so you can play it again.
And, yes, all three games will work on any recent version of Windows. Including the latest releases of Windows 10 and 11.
Even the Retail disc (CD/DVD) version of TRON 2.0 can be made to work on Windows 10 and 11, if you follow the first two steps of advice in the Steam guide.
All three TRON games (2.0, RUN/r, Identity) can be played on the Steam Deck, too!

Thinking about them again your honor.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s about how Lora/Yori is always the guide, always knows just where to go and what to do and how Alan/Tron happily go along with it. They trust she knows best (they’re also a total sap about her)
It’s the “if I’m not holding your hand right now I’ll explode”. They’re so touchy and my heart can’t take it? Lora/Yori has a tendency to cling to his arm, press herself into his shoulder and it’s absolutely everything.
Also no one talks about how funny the arcade scene is, Lora is just giggling and dragging him along as Alan is going through increasing stages of ‘oh my god what have I got myself into- what is this guy’ — this arcade serves all ages and demographics and somehow he still sticks out! In this case it’s a reverse where Lora is the one to ‘protect’ him and I’m going to loose it.

Thoughts on Tron: Identity (quick review)
Finally, I closed the biggest gap in my Tron education: I played Tron: Identity at last!
And let me say, it was an amazing experience - short, but amazing.
I really love that the game digs into the "spiritual" themes of Tron, like the Users being akin to gods for the programs. At the same time, it's kind of funny since all of the programs on the Arq server are ISOs, so none of them were written by any Users - technically, they don't have any gods at all, since they spawned out of nowhere. Still, despite having no higher-ordained function, they're looking for purpose by organizing themselves, and some of them - like Prinz - even turn to the Users for guidance. (I guess programs are not too dissimilar from Users in that regard…)
Also, I really enjoyed the inclusion of the Automata - I love the idea of a faction of programs wanting to evolve beyond the predetermined parameters of the Users, and who place greater value on finding their own path and information being free to access for everyone. (I'm a big fan of AIs valuing their otherness, if you can't tell. xD)
Nevertheless, I think that the theme of control of information/information as power present in the game is very relevant, probably more so now than ever. In the age of the internet, the value of information and data will only increase, and whoever holds them will have control over pretty much everything - and wherever there is power, you can count on someone being there to abuse it.
Aside from this, Tron: Identity also has some pretty existentialist themes, like dealing with the realization that God has abandoned you and that knowledge is sometimes more of a burden than a boon. I can relate to both of these very well, and I love the way they implemented this little bit of philosophy into the game.
From a gameplay perspective, Tron: Identity was my first visual novel, and I have to say I quite enjoyed it - due to the nature of the story, I found myself thinking really hard about some decisions, and to my own surprise, I actually really liked the puzzle minigames intermingled in between. (I'm usually not that big on puzzle games; I think that's because most of the time, there's only one correct way to solve the puzzles, so I'm glad that the minigames in Identity allow for multiple approaches.)
[Spoilers from this point onwards!]
Still, I somehow feel like I got the worst ending possible - Proxy took off with Prinz, Ada turned to voxels from Cass's explosion, and Grish was royally pissed at me. xD In the end, I didn't have much of a choice but to derezz Grish - I considered handing over Cass to him just to keep both of them alive, but I couldn't bring myself to betray Cass. Sorry, Grish, but I had to protect my precious baby. xD
However, from what I've read in some guides, it could've gone much, much worse - if you try to stop Proxy from taking Prinz, you will accidentally hit Prinz with your disc. I was considering to defend Prinz, but I was worried about him being in the line of fire, so I didn't take that choice. (Good call on that one, I guess... ^^')
I suppose 3/5 survivors isn't the worst you can do (since Sierra can't die anyway), but maybe I'll do another run in the future to see some of the other outcomes.
Either way, Tron: Identity is a fantastic addition to the Tron franchise, and you can really tell that Mike Bithell put a lot of love, effort, and care into the story. I just hope we'll get a sequel to it soon, and that your decisions from the first game will have an impact on the second. (When I freed Sierra, I was kinda hoping he would help you out as an ally later, so that's something I'd really like to see.)

Help wanted 2 spoilers!!
Okay I don't know if this has already been considered or not, but I have a theory of who the second candy cadet story is about
The two takes I've seen is either Vanessa or Cassie, which is absolutely fair and valid bc it does make sense! But I feel like there's problems with both interpretations
The story is basically, a young girl is tricked by a witch's friendly voice and barely escapes being eaten but is scarred for the rest of her life. Then when she grows up she seeks revenge, a young boy helps to guide her through the woods, and at the end we learn she was tricked again, and the witch finally has her meal
Here's my problems with both interpretations
Vanessa. Most of this works, I won't lie to you! I was willing to believe it up until "the oven door closed, the witch would finally have her meal." We do see Vanessa get possessed, or "scarred" for life, and we see her seek revenge, potentially accompanied by a young boy to some extent, however we don't get any clear indication that she fails this goal, as the only time we clearly see her is the princess quest 4 ending, where she's successful
Tldr, most of it fits, but I don't think the ending does
With Cassie, the second half of the story fits to a T! She's led by a young boy who's later revealed to have been a trick to lead her to the mimic, who, as the first half of the story says, she barely escapes from. However, the story clearly states a past encounter with the witch that left her scarred, and it's only after a significant amount of time, now with the "confidence of age and wisdom" that she comes back to get revenge. As far as we know, Cassie never encountered the mimic before ruin, and she's still a young child when she does encounter it. And considering we see her in the basic ending getting the mask the timeline doesn't match up either
Tldr, only pieces of the story fit, and important details such as her age definitely do not
SO, who do I think the story could be about
First thing to consider, the player character could potentially be who it's about, as the player can't be vanny since we see her as a separate entity, and I don't think it's cassie as the game seems to be set pre-ruin (in the real/non-AR world sun and moon are in a similar state Cassie found them in before turning them back into eclipse, for one). And then in the basic faz tron ending, the player is then attacked by, supposedly, glitchtrap/mimic controlling the nightmare bots, which could be the witch finally getting her meal, but, the player has no known correlation with the rest of the story right?
Well
Who says the characters in the story have to be a 1 to 1? The witch is certainly a different concept from mimic, so in theory the woman's gender doesn't have to be relevent, and that opens up more options
So my thought process here was, is there any other character who we know for sure has gotten "scarred" by glitchtrap/mimic in the past, and we can reasonably assume to still be alive/likely to come back?
Help wanted Jeremy.
From what we understand he was the first known character to interact with glitchtrap, and it ended with the paper slicer incident, that sure as hell will leave a scar. And I'm not sure we know how many years its been between both help wanted games, but I feel it's safe to assume it's been enough time for him to have grown a bit, even if more so mentally than physically, and want to put an end to glitchtrap. And then let's say he's the player character, and the basic ending is the witch getting her meal.
(I'll be honest, I don't know how the young boy would play into this interpretation, so, this is by no means a perfect solution)
But also, there's the evidence that the player is Cassie's dad
Carnie saying "You look like you got kids, win a prize for the little one!" Freddy saying "you are a fazbear technician, are you not?" Which I get is played off as a joke but considering mystic Hippo says "the key is familiar to you" in refrence to the faz wrench, I feel like there's merit to it, plus the fact that the player has a vanni mask, which is a fazbear technician thing.
But the biggest thing, to me, is the secret Bonnie mask, which appears with the text "this feels familiar" and it gives you an achievement titled "remember Jeremy"
Cassie's dad's favorite is said to be Bonnie, and "remember Jeremy" is pretty straightforward I'd say.
So, anyway, I don't have a coherent conclusion to this, I've never written out a theory before so take it easy on me lol, but I had an epiphany in the shower today and needed to share it! I don't have anyone to bounce ideas off of as of right now so if anyone has any additional ideas or counter points (respectfully!) I'd love hear it! :)
