Behold! Unsurprisingly, more Forest Deep doodles! Irene will admit to nothing, lol.

After starting her travels with Sesshomaru, Irene starts wearing her extra kimono over her head to try and hide her face whenever going into human villages. After all, it’s not like she has the Inugang to vouch for her “good intentions” now. 🥲

Sesshomaru: “Don’t tell me you were intending to continue wearing those rags whilst in my company?”

Irene, who was intending to do just that: “…I will neither confirm nor deny.”

I think it’s hilarious to imagine Sess viewing Irene with a Shoujo Filter whenever she smiles. Especially since he refuses to admit that he cares about her (or anyones) well-being. Man, this dog fam is full of Tsunderes.

Anyways, have some Toga and Iliana doodles too for a fic that does not yet exist. It is just chaos. Iliana gets struck by the Isekai and winds up a century or two before Inuyasha is born, and ends up surviving and making a little home in a cave in some mountains. Girl doesn’t speak the language. Gets her clothes from some dead humans that were killed by demons. But one day she leaves her cave and just- finds the Inu no Taisho bleeding out right outside.

She has concerns. He is slightly “grr” towards Humans since he hasn’t met Izayoi yet. Very sus of Iliana’s intentions. Very quickly realizes she’s a bit of a goofball and is fun to tease. Especially after he learns she knows who he is once he gives his name- as that’s really the only thing she understands.

Iliana did not realize she was in the series until after Toga reveals his name and confirms he is, in fact, the Inu no Taisho. She is horrified. Unfortunately, it’s too late for her to ditch Toga now. 👀 His interest has been piqued.

She went out of her way to help him, a demon, despite being human and knowing next to nothing of the language. She is now a very interesting human, and he is not about to let her escape.

Toga gives off such strong Inuyasha vibes despite having Sesshomaru’s eyes 🤣 It’s killing me. It’s so cute.

Dabi, Akane, and Eris reveling in the chaos in the days leading up to the Final War. (art by my partner @konraddams)

I love this so much, this might be the last time they actually got to have some fun before everything falls apart again for them. I can't wait to get to this point in the story of my fic once I get some free time to write. (If anyone is interested I'll link the fic in question below.)

Story Summary: "So, if you could kill any hero, who would it be?" Toga excitedly asked the group as they took a break from planning their mission.

"Any hero? That honor goes to Endeavor." Akane said, with unintentional malice in her voice.

Dabi, who had been quietly listening to the conversation while leaning against the wall, turned his attention towards her.

"Endeavor, huh? Now that's a tall order."

Akane Akiyama had spent her whole life trying to be a good person, a good hero. Even when she lost her Hero License, she still tried to fight to change the world for the better as a vigilante. But, when she sees Stain's message to the world about the corruption of heroes, she realizes it's time for her to actually take action and join the League of Villains. If she couldn't keep her promise to Touya, the least she could do was get justice for his death.

Hehe... hehehe... not me avoiding drawing his armor in any way that I possibly can... hehe...

Anyways! Have some Iliana and Toga! I wasn’t going to name their daughter Shion- I purposefully looked up a list of, like, four hundred names and their meanings to avoid doing so, but, alas, I love the name and it works so well. So their daughter is gonna be named Shion. She is a feral gremlin that takes after her mama in personality who wants all the hugs but looks so much like her daddy.

Legit, the second Iliana finds out the random demon she saved turns out to be Toga she is trying to patch him up as quickly as possible to get him to leave so she doesn’t ruin the timeline, but whooops guess what-? Timeline’s ruined now, most certainly. Sesshomaru is about have a younger, and Inuyasha an older, half-sister.

Will Iliana and Sesshomaru ever meet in the earlier stages of the story? Probably not, because she would be freaking obliterated on the spot because of his daddy issues and human hate. Shion and Sesshomaru, though? Hells yeah. She would try to hug him because “Big brother!” and Sesshomaru would try to kill her. And it just continues. An endless cycle.

The plot is destroyed. Chaos ensues. Inupapa goes into a slumber instead of dying, and Sess gets pissed because that means his dad has just been playing dead all these years- it wasn’t his fault, sir, tenseiga saved him at the last second because of lasting regrets- and the second he wakes up Sess goes after him and Toga is just kind of tired dad sighing like, “Really, son?”

I still don’t have certain time travel shenanigans figured out, but. It’s so fun.

Everything is chaos. Forest Deep is so serious but this one is just. Absolute silliness with the very tiniest dash of angst.
