So grateful for the growing season I'm in. So grateful for the way God is working in my life, transforming me to be a woman of wisdom, kindness, and faith—a woman of His kingdom rather than a woman of this world. All I feel is gratitude knowing that He is taking the time to prepare me for what is to come.

A year ago, I was living a completely different life. Helping to take care of my roommate after his accident. Living on a house in a completely different part of town. Then came the fire.

Next door to us, our neighbor's kitten knocked over a candle and changed all our lives.

It was tough, at first. Very. We had no idea what would happen. It was bitter cold and we had no heat. Calling places trying to get help.

We got through the cold with help from churches. Still the uncertainty remained. Then a series of miracles lead to this trailer that we are buying! A home of our own.

What first seemed an unbearable tragedy turned into the greatest blessing. It is amazing what God can do. Astonishing what He did in mine and my brothers life, in a year.

I sit here in my fully furnished living room, listening to the sound of my own dryer, warm and safe, one dog on my lap, the other against my thigh. I believed I wouldn't be able to keep them! But, He made a way for everything!

So if you are walking through your own fire right now and can't see a way out, call on the Eternal and Unchanging God. He has promised to make a way. He keeps His promises.

In my extremely busy era, but I just came on here to update the girls. Yesterday, I got a call that I was selected for my dream internship and I've been dying to celebrate 🥂❤️

Unfortunately celebrations are on hold until Saturday, when I should hopefully receive some more good news. However, I just told my mother and now she's booking us a holiday to celebrate 🥳 ✈️

“The Lies in My Head”

Busy streets and city lights. Honked of horns, people crossing. Harmony in my head, tiptoeing on the sidewalk. Is where I saw myself that Wednesday night.

My heart skipped a beat, my body was about to collapse. Oh God, keep me strong! Knees hurting with unfathomable pain. Sat down by the bench, unfazed by people’s stare.

My vision’s blurred, my hands get cold. My mouth wanted to speak but I got tongue-tied. My mind just wandered into the unknown. Deep in the abyss.

Is this the agony of waiting? The misery of mischiefs? The punishment of an inflated ego? The verdict of prejudice?

Then everything went blank. I’m like being swallowed in a black hole with no hope of survival. A constant hunt of light where everything is pitch black. Drowned in the swamp enveloped by darkness.

I was at peace for I was alone in that state. But all I felt was emptiness, betrayal, and hatred. The reflection of my suppressed emotions. My vulnerable self resurfaced.

A cowardice, pretentious, and a peculiar liar. With flesh who wants nothing but validation. I was never enough and never will be. I fell to my knees and see fragments of myself.

I closed my eyes with the hope of being saved and with that last stroke of strength, I pulled my head above water. What I saw were the lies in my head. And I should never forget my core—the truth of my heart.

In this cloud of uncertainty, cast your anxieties to the one above. In this world full of lies, trust no one but your faith above. Sail not in the burden but in His Grace. For today, you are now saved.
