Heh Raph and Leonardo are shell twins.

Both of them have in canon had their shells cracked.

Leonardo when he'd fought the Shredder and received the large crack on the back of his shell.

Raph when he shielded Leo from the Krang General's attack and had the top part of his shell completely cracked off by the sharp tendrils.

I guess you can say that being a leader isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Jupiter Jim being crazy can be explained by ROTTMNT being a cartoon, however I have my own theory.

I believe the Jupiter Jim’s movies are real, they took place in the yokai world and Jim believed it was all fake until he found out his sidekick was a yokai. The truth of actually being in multiple life-dangerous situations and a secret race of yokai existing was too much for him to understand and he became paranoid every human wearing a disguise was secretly a yokai.

Sure Leo needs a hug. Wanna know what else he needs? A shared mental breakdown with his older brother to let all the bottled feelings out and a proper discussion about leadership which leads to Raph letting Leo know that he will always be there to help shoulder the weight, even if it's just through listening and also adds that they all love Leo, flaws and all. I don’t understand why people think Draxum would be a struggling father in those parent swap AUs. He never saw the turtles as people, only as war machines. He changed his perspective once he saved humans but he still spent a good sixteen years dehumanizing them.

I just noticed that for the last decade, each TMNT variation has taken an iconic male character from the franchise and made them female.

First TMNT 2012 with Tokka.

Next the Bayverse movies with April’s boss Burne Thompson.

Then ROTTMNT with Casey Jones.

And now Mutant Mayhem with both Leatherhead and Wingnut!
