So the Good Omens: Official and Ineffable Graphic Novel is getting a-closer and closer. Here are some fun facts that Colleen Doran shared with us during the Ineffable Con 4.
(These frames featured here are all sneak peeks that have been shared with us; except for the Atlantis one, that is there for comparison purposes and obviously photoshopped Crowley on a horse).
Perhaps as another fun fact: apparently Neil Gaiman started a sort of bet for the Kickstarter campaign- whoever got closer to the total amount would get a cake! Neil actually had the closest bet, but he gave cakes to everyone else instead. Colleen on the other hand said she had the lowest bet.
@colleendoran is truly magnificent! An OG GO fan and once again, we are eternally grateful for your constant hard work!
OH!! UM!!! so I forgot to post this earlier but I just remembered! um! This is my piece for the ineffable con 4’s zine, which is the first!! Zine!!! I’ve ever been in!!!! I haven’t been able to talk about it for SO LONG and I almost actually forgot but this is the thing!!! big ginormous thanks to @theineffablecon themselves of course for organizing all this & giving me the opportunity to be a part of it!!! and also totally go check out the rest of the zine everything in there is PHENOMENAL.
I'll be co-hosting a panel for The Ineffable Con 4! :)
Are you curious about how exactly Austen themes fit into the Good Omens romance? Why was the dance scene from 2x05 so irresistibly appealing to us viewers? Which Austen characters can we most associate with Aziraphale and Crowley, and how might this help us in illuminating their characters' motivations in Series 2 and beyond? If you haven't read Jane Austen and don't feel like getting into thousands of pages of literary work just to understand a fandom reference then this is the panel for you. On the other hand, if you have read Austen and just want an excuse to talk about it, then this panel is also for you. Join Aji (angelsnuffbox) and Stef in yelling (lovingly) about it together.
In 2021, way before we even got a S2 announcement, Stef and I did a panel for TIC 3 about Good Omens and Jane Austen. Imagine our surprise (and delight!) with how S2 turned out! This @theineffablecon panel is kind of a sequel to our previous one, wherein we update our thoughts based on the new content that we got with S2. We'd love for you to come join us!
I contributed to the wonderful Ineffable Con 4 zine! You can find sfw and nsfw versions here, and I'll post the full version of my piece once I have confirmation that I can ^u^
Played in The Nightingale's Last Song tonight at The Ineffable Con 4 and I tell you it was awesome! Expertly hosted/DM'd by @missastraea who also played a plethora of characters, including the charming A. Z. Fell. The wonderful Kas was a brilliantly clueless Crowley!
I played a hard boiled noir detective guy, but with a bit of a soft spot for cute couples who pretend they aren't (not to mention for Officer Thompson!)
Had so much fun, a bit different playing online to in person, but would love to do more.
I haven't shared my submission On the top of the world for TIC4 Zine, my goodness!
In fact, this drawing was first thing I drew after Season 2 was released. I've been drawing after very very long time and was afraid I totally lost my skill (and apparently art style, nonexist thing), but I enjoyed painting them again so much. Also, Daniel Worth paintings are awsome! I won't pretend I wasn't inspired by his work :D
Hope we all enjoy the next volume of The Ineffable con! (me just virtually)
Why have a panel about treating fanartists and writers well if you’re not even going to announce a zine a bunch of people worked on? Why give us a nice forward if you’re not going to announce it? Like, way to shove a bunch of people under the rug. I feel like shit over this.
