thinking about how one of kel's first lines is "man, aubrey always gets what she wants". thinking about how aubrey wanted to go see sweetheart's show for hearts, so hero took them all to sweetheart's show for hearts. thinking about how aubrey told molly not to touch omori, and she didn't again.

thinking about how all aubrey wanted was to keep her friend group together. thinking about how aubrey's clothes are too big in headspace, she only has one toy and in the real world, her house is a tip with her room almost bare. thinking about how aubrey wanted to keep the photos of mari and throw the rest in the bin, and how she put them back in the album after kel picked it out of the trash.

thinking about how sunny viewed her as a protector of his as a kid, someone who'd look for for him, and how the hooligans trust her to lead and look out for them, and how hero and mari were like older siblings to her when she was younger, and how aubrey's parents didn't look out for her. thinking about how aubrey is angry and insulted and violent and vengeful, and how she wants the girl she knew as a sister to come back. thinking about how she believes she wasn't enough for her old friends, for anyone. thinking about how little possessions she has, how she pushes away people who care about her, how she's viewed as a "bad kid" by the residents of faraway.

want is such a big theme with aubrey. in headspace, every one of hers is fulfilled. in the real world, we see almost none being.

the kids released a new album

Imagine Plo Koon getting his photo taken with the Wolfpack. But each snap, about 10 clones get added from different squads until such time you've got the likes of Kenobi and Skywalker having to pry their boys back.

Meanwhile you have Kit Fisto having the time of his life with Monnk and the boys crashing the 104th who are now making silly poses. Kit obviously being glamorous and obviously shirtless.

And that's when shit hits the fan cause now you have a very tired Kel Dor General, fired up Croissants (Corries) and evenly fired up Wolves (Wolfpack) throwing bets on who'd win between Fox and Wolffe just rough housing, wrestling, throwing banter, and flipping each other off when Plo's not looking.

Actually, I think Aubrey would maybe be the most understanding of the truth. After all, she did push someone in a fit of rage too and endanger their life, she was just luckier and had someone there to save the day.

thinking about how the only reason sunny started reconnecting with the world and realising he deserves love is because kel never gave up on him. even though sunny isolated himself from everyone kel still called him and tried to reach out. and it’s so pivotal it’s literally the key choice that determines whether or not you get the good ending. the path to healing and contentment depends on whether or not you take the hand kel offers you. and sunny learns to forgive himself because he keeps making that choice. he opens the door for kel, and therefore chooses reconciliation and personal growth. it’s why he’s able to save basil in the end. because kel is strong and resilient and kind. because kel is lonely and has grieved in silence for years but still looks for sunny everywhere he goes. because they’re both invisible. because everything that sunny needs, kel has.

Happy birthday to Spartan Kelly-087!

Today is her -487th birthday!

Kelly was born on Imber in 2510. She was identified as an exceptional child by Catherine Halsey and selected to be conscripted into the SPARTAN-II program. On the day of her kidnapping, she evaded ONI agents for several hours, coming out only because she thought the ordeal was a game for her upcoming birthday.

Like all Spartan-II conscripts, she was brought to Reach and trained under CPO Franklin Mendez. There, she met John-117 and Sam-034, the first friends she made after her conscription, and the foundational members of Blue Team. Kelly became known for her incredible speed, easily outpacing the other trainees during exercises. The augmentation procedures were particularly difficult for her, and she nearly died. While she took the longest to recover, once she did, her natural speed became unparalleled.

Like all Spartan-IIs, Kelly participated in hundreds of missions and engagements over the course of her life, and particularly during the Human-Covenant war. After the fall of Reach, a heavily-injured Kelly was brought to Onyx with Dr. Halsey, where she would be introduced to the Spartan-III candidates and assist in training them.

Sarcastic, stubborn, and cynical, Kelly is perhaps the most emotional member of Blue Team, and the most likely speak up and challenge others. She is incredibly resilient, having been near death multiples times yet always making a full recovery. While she has served in more engagements than any other Spartan besides John, and, as a result, is heavily decorated, Kelly doesn't care for or pay attention to her accolades.

At the close of the war, Kelly continued to serve, rejoining Blue Team to face the threat of the Didact, and then Cortana and the Created. It is unclear if she was on the Infinity when it was attacked by the Banished.

In canon (~2560), she is turning 50!

New AU. hiiii

So this takes place after the neutral ending (specifically the knife ending, so Sunny’s dead too). Aubrey, Kel, and Hero are each haunted by one of their dead friends, and its up to them to uncover the truth of the night of the recital so that their friends’ spirits can move on. As said in the pic Basil is forced to haunt Aubrey, Sunny haunts Kel, and Mari haunts Hero. The one being haunted is the only one who can see and hear their respective ghost friend (and they can’t see other ghosts so the living friends have no idea that the others are being guided by ghosts too)

Also due to Ghost Rules the ghosts cannot just say the truth of the incident cause that would be too easy (I like to imagine if they try they literally glitch out for a sec, idk think its a cool visual) but they can give indirect hints and of course lead the living friends to places and such. So yeah fun times Aubrey and Kel are going through it <3

Know I don’t really have the AU’s plot that developed yet, rn its just a concept and I’m not too concerned with figuring out all the story beats rn
