Also I never knew that there was even a single color photograph of my grandparents' wedding in 1952. I've only ever seen the ones in black and white. Don't they look beautiful? Didn't I just come from the most gorgeous people?

#i love how you can actually see my grandfather's red hair #as a redhead i know the injustice that black and white does to us... alas!#my charcoal self-portraits always look unlike myself to me because im like i have red hair. this doesnt look like a redhead #this isnt me #also even though it's a white dress. grammy's dress looks so much more beautiful surrounded by color #wow #tales from diana #did you know i never knew my grandmother was a local beauty queen when she was younger until after she died?#when her dementia got to the stage where she needed a live-in nurse to help her all the time #at one point my aunt rediscovered a picture from when she was about. 17. i posted it years ago #she scanned it and had it cropped and framed and left it in the front of the living room #the first time the nurse saw that photo (i was there) she said 'DAAAAMN MOM IS THAT YOU?'#and grammy was like 'oh :) yes thats me'#like it was nothing and then later on the nurse said 'i know you already said it but damn i just cant stop looking at you!'#that nurse was really nice. really really nice.#the priest at the wake when saying a prayer for the family before everyone else started ushering in #mentioned what a beauty my grandmother was and what a lovely couple the two of them were.#they went to that local church for about 60 years so he mustve known them for decades. it was a nice touch.

shout out to people who have parts of themselves arn't accessible.

Shout out to people who have to rely on others to help know how they sound, look, or remember. Shout out to people who will never safely live alone, people who used to live with a partner and now cant because their needs require professionals and insurance only covers one stay.

Shout out to people who cant get to or control parts of their own body, weather that's needing assistance getting your shoes on, or constant repositioning to keep away skin breakdown. People who have their current location, name and year, remember taped to their wall.

Shout out to people who need support wile transferring, who have to ask someone whenever they want to move. People who rely on others to feed them. People who have to trust when someone they don't remember tells them "Im here to help". People who get woke up threw out the night for incontinence care. People who need to use communication skills to get dressed in the morning. Shout out to people who have to ask to see a mirror. Who have to ask to get oral care.

Shout out to people who cant communicate and still need help. People who have to be reminded that they cant do what they remember being able to do, so they don't try to stand on their own. People who have to ask to get their nose itched. Shout out people who have a hard time being understood and often just go along with whatever providers assume is best. I just wanted to remind y'all that you're a valuable and worth-wile part of society. You deserve all the respect, autonomy, and dignity than everyone else gets. (I hope you have a good advocate and providers, so if those Rights are abused you have the support to get the care you are supposed to get.) ily <3

Dazai who's so vehemently against having kids. Can't stomach the idea of bringing an innocent life into the world. Even worse if that life was apart of him even in the slightest. Disgusted by himself so he swears he'll never have kids. Those thoughts gone at the idea of you ever having someone else's kids. He can't stomach himself but he can't live with the idea of anyone else having you like that. Hips snapping against yours while he cages you between his arms. Driven mad by the theoretical reality of you being intimate with anyone but him. Worse off by his cascading thoughts unable to stop himself. Not just actively refusing to prevent a pregnancy. But breeding you like his body isn't his own. Pumping his seed into as deep as possible. Refusing to pull out as the aftershocks tremor through his body. Pushing deeper into you and with that working against his own morals threatening the chance of you getting pregnant. Glossy eyed look while he stares down at you. Hating himself for his selfishness. Because he never really wanted kids. But he'd hate himself even tenfold if he ever saw you pregnant with someone else's child.
