these are written predominantly for the *rising* signs but they are also intuitively "channeled" enough that they should work for any dominant energy you have! aries: the week starts with a lunar eclipse featuring you and any form of partnership you are in. it ends with a nodal square by ceres. everything is fated and powerful. take nothing for granted.

taurus: your ruling planet sextiles uranus in your sign from pisces. you overflow with charm and charisma, even in unexpected situations. especially socially. meanwhile the eclipse this week is a push to make the mundane sacred.

gemini: this kind of energy is honestly ripe for "situationships" or weird relationship events involving your circle of acquaintances, perhaps in competition with an existing closer partner. you don't have to follow conventional wisdom when it comes to dealing with those situations, no matter how pleasant or unpleasant.

cancerians: it's time for a cardinal lunar eclipse. your public and private lives may want to merge, or separate. there is not necessarily a lot you can do except go with it, and accept that even upheaval can have positive results.

Virgo Season: Harold

There was no way in hell that Harold was going to do his presentations on the lawn. This conference was supposed to be prestigious, and all that he had seen so far was every so-called “real man” in the Astra Hotel running in terror from a group of deviants.

Harold had been a police officer in Detroit for decades, and even retired he knew he cut an imposing figure. Where the inimitable Pastor Blanco had failed, Harold had succeeded, forcing the staff to clean up the conference hall in the early hours of the morning, after the nightly freak party ended. The day’s discussions and meetings had been held in their rightful place again, and now it was Harold’s turn.

If only he could get the damn projector working properly.

While Harold had been on the force, everything had been microfilm and slides, even into the 2000s. The Astra’s conference hall contained such newfangled gadgets as an “HDMI port,” an “audio jack,” and the horrifically misnamed “Smart Board” that Harold had no hope of interacting with. Harold had been expecting that some of the young professionals attending the conference would be able to help him with setting up.

Alas, all the young cowards seemed to have fled the conference over the last few weeks, and so Harold had spent 15 minutes struggling with the technology before he turned to Blanco, his face purple with rage. “Get… me… the concierge,” Harold gritted out.

Blanco seemed about to protest at being ordered around like one of his lackeys, but then clearly thought better of it. Without a word, he fled the hall.

The door closed with an echoing bang. Without meaning to, Harold jumped as if he had been touched by a small electric shock. The small audience—not more than twenty, and yet more than half the people still at the conference—all jumped too.

Harold turned back to the podium where the mess of wires surrounded his ancient brick of a laptop, only to see that one cable was neatly plugged into a port on his device. Behind him, the large screen flickered to life, displaying his desktop background.

“Ah, that’s fine then,” Harold said gruffly. “Let’s begin, we’re behind enough as it is.�� He launched PowerPoint exactly as the man at the tech support desk had shown him once and began the slideshow.

The screen went black, then flashed bright before the first slide came up. Harold could have sworn it had shown a picture of a smooth-skinned man in a rubber bodysuit, lying at the foot of someone in high heels. But there was no such image on his device, so he must have imagined it.

“The police and their policies are an important part of America and make ordinary life possible,” Harold began, following the notes he had written in his notebook. He went through the first few slides, on the glorious history of the American police force and how essential they were to the protection of real Americans, like him and the other attendees.

As he did, Harold felt himself beginning to get warm in his suit. He wasn’t the type for nervous sweating, but he found himself tugging at his collar, feeling beads of sweat run down his grey, buzzed temples. After the third slide, he took a moment to take a drink of water, and saw several of the conference attendees doing the same, or fanning themselves with paper and notebooks. Maybe it had been a mistake to close the doors.

“Please pay close attention,” Harold said, clicking to the next slide.

The slide was meant to show an image of Harold during his glory days on the force. Instead, for an instant, Harold was sure the picture was of some deviant in a rubber bodysuit, long socks, aviators, and a leather cap. Like a horrible fetishistic parody of his younger self.

He blinked, horrified, and the picture he was was as it was supposed to be, a younger Harold in his perfect police uniform. Somehow, he had imagined such a horrific image. Harold coughed awkwardly. “In my time on the force, my district…” he continued, rattled.

The statistics and policy changes relevant to Harold’s presentation seemed to swim before his eyes. He was sweating like a pig in this suit. It felt like there was something under the cotton and silk, something pliant and sticky against his skin. The audience seemed to be moving uncomfortably. Some were tugging on their dress shirts, trying to force air into the humid interiors.

Harold continued reading his notes. “Police put great attention on stepping on—I mean, stamping out—less desirable elements in the city,” he said, stumbling over his words. “Employee satisfaction reached an all time high when police were given free rein to fu—no, that’s pluck—potential criminals from their hiding places preemptively.” Why had he written that word?

But the idea was somehow enticing. That would have changed things in Detroit, Harold thought, as he kept on reading and clicking through slides. Walking into a raid lubed up and hard in a rubber—rubber? Yes, rubber—jockstrap, fucking sense into those deviant criminals’ asses… He tried to resist getting hard in his dress pants.

When he clicked to the next slide, it showed an example of exactly the kind of criminal Harold was thinking of. Tight rubber pants, his chest bare, giving fuck-me eyes to the camera.

“The criminal element—” Harold’s voice was hoarse for some reason. He coughed and continued talking about the inherent criminality of non-white men in America.

The men in the audience were leaning forward in their seats as Harold went through the next few slides. He knew that look. The attractiveness of the hedonistic lifestyle of a deviant criminal was getting to them. It was getting to him, too. He could barely remember where his discussion was leading.

No one in the hall heard the main doors stick as someone attempted to open them from the outside, but found them held fast by some force other than the lock.

The atmosphere had become close and humid. Harold could see some of the men palming their bulging groins through their pants. He wanted a taste of that. Pictures of men in rubber continued to flash on the screen, even though Harold wasn’t clicking on it to continue. Harold couldn’t tell if they were criminals or civilians anymore. Maybe they were just ordinary people. The images came faster and faster until the screen was a blur of rubber men.

Suddenly, the onslaught stopped. A video started to play. Two men, of very different skin tones, furiously kissing. Harold heard moaning from the audience as they started to imitate what they were seeing on screen.

Harold felt overwhelmingly warm, and started to unbutton his shirt. Had his hands always been so tan? As he worked, he tried to continue speaking. “In-in short, the police force… Oh god, the police force should totally fuck more, can you imagine? In uniform?” The pitch of his voice rose as his grey hair darkened to black. Graceful hands stripped away his shirt to reveal a translucent rubber tank top underneath. “Can you imagine if they put on some rubber booty shorts instead of those boring pants?” he continued.

The audience started to strip each other, following Harold’s example. The squeak of rubber on rubber sang out in harmony with smooth moans and gasps. Skin darkened and youthened everywhere as everyone let go of everything that had been holding them back for decades all at once.

Harold clicked to the next slide, knowing what was coming now. A man in boots and a rubber shirt, sniffing a black sneaker. “You gotta show your partner you appreciate all that sweat he’s been building up under his rubber!” Harold told the audience, hearing the licks and snuffles begin as men enthusiastically dove into each others’ armpits, groins, and abandoned shoes.

Hadn’t Harold had a water bottle? No, just the spare sneaker his husband had sent with him to the Astra Hotel this year. Giving the audience a moment to put his command into action, Harold gave the shoe a sniff, feeling as if a weight was lifted off his shoulders as his body tightened up into a tan, muscular physique.

He wanted to stretch out his long tongue into the shoe’s interior, but Harold knew that would spoil the musk, plus he needed to keep focussed on his presentation. Instead, he imagined giving his husband’s feet a nice tongue bath once he got home, giving his cock a squeeze through his sweat-soaked pants. Still sniffing, he wriggled out of the pants, revealing his black rubber shorts, rivulets of sweat still running down his sturdy legs.

Harold clicked to the next slide, the final moment of his presentation. A guy in a full bodysuit, his rubber toes extended to the camera. “Remember, it’s all about playing with power,” Harold called out, feeling his mouth slip around the English consonants. His mixed heritage, raised in a house where he spoke Lebanese, left him with a faint accent that came out specifically when he was horny. “You do what another man says because you trust him, and it feels so fucking good, right?”

There was a roar of assent from the crowd, drunk on their own lust. “Good boys,” Harold said firmly, and drank in the responding chorus of submissive groans. Leaving the slide up, Harold stepped down from the presenter’s dais back into the seating. He pulled his long rubber gloves back on as he went. Best to be prepared in case someone wanted to feel his arm up inside them.

One couple, a Chinese man and his little Black boy, had actually started fucking, the Black guy’s rubber pantseat unzipped so his tight ass could take his dom’s cock. An older Arabic man had his hands tied behind his back as he sat on the floor in a circle of men, all taking turns using his mouth. As he walked past, Harold tugged on the long ponytail of a Brazilian in a rubber shirt, enjoying the man’s groan as he kept bouncing on what must be a plug on the inside of his pants. They were all gonna have a good time until the non-rubber guys joined them for the night’s party.

The conference hall door burst open, and Harold turned to see some old white man standing there, surrounded by terrified hotel staff. Harold raised himself to his full height and crossed his gloved arms, showing off the bulge in his rubber shorts and the muscles in his translucent shirt. This was his place, and he was gonna protect it.

The hotel staff fled, and the old prude wasn’t far behind. Harold rolled his eyes and turned back to his fun.

Name: Velrith. No surname as of yet (& that's not some hint at any future matrimonial plans--finding a first name she felt comfortable taking on was already a feat in itself) but if it ever becomes an issue, she can address it at that time. She hasn't yet arrived at that bridge, though, and can't really forsee it being a problem any time soon.

Nickname(s): None, really. Technically, you could probably file Astarion's rolodex of endearments under this category, but she always had the impression those were more a result of his pre-existing speech patterns. (They were also very helpful in her nameless interim--Darling and Dearest sound much kinder than Hey, you there or Paladin.) She likes to her the petnames, though. They're mostly sweet, barring the Bhaal-themed variety she's expressed open disdain for ("If this is your attempt at reassurance and comfort, it's failing. Painfully so."). She likes the ones with a slight possessive ring to them--my love, my sweet, etc. It's an active reminder that she's still being chosen, despite her baggage.

As of now, she's never been given a nickname, and it's to her understanding that you aren't supposed to give yourself one--they come from your friends. She doesn't expect this, mostly because her chosen name is already on the short side with two syllables, but if anyone ever did decide to give her one, she would be genuinely touched by the gesture. Seemingly meaningless or "normal" acts of affection are things she can't help but take seriously, after all.

Pronouns: She/Her, but more in the sense that she accepts the designation by strangers & never actually put more thought into it past that. if pressed, she would probably admit to not feeling any particular kinship with masculinity, despite not really meeting the definition for feminine on paper either.

Star Sign: Whatever the in-universe equivalent of Capricorn sun/Virgo moon/Cancer rising is. Pragmatic, methodical outer shell, , perceptive, soft & sensitive inside.

Height: Average-ish at around 5"6. People tend to read her as taller thanks to a combination of horns and the most rigidly perfect posture the Sword Coast as ever seen.

Orientation: Again, not something she's put much thought into. Based on behaviours, she's likely demiromantic with a generally open attitude towards sex.

Race: Levistus Tiefling Bhaalspawn

Romancing: Astarion. You know those couples that have the vibe of "thank god you two found each other because neither of you should break containment into the general public"? Yeah. Turns out, there's a lot of compatibility to be found in someone else who is also deeply, deeply fucking weird. (Note: neither party is actually aware of the extent of this, and that's important to the emotional ecosystem.)

Fave Fruit: Pomegranates. This isn't a hidden symbolism thing, she just... really loves them. They're not too sweet, the seeds are pleasingly compact, and it's a pretty colour on top of everything. The first time she had pomegranate seeds, it was in Baldur's Gate. They were pre-opened and already in a bowl, which is the ideal way to enjoy a pomegranate. The second time was her attempt at opening the fruit itself, which is usually an ordeal at the best of times. She got at the seeds eventually, but not after looking like she'd witnessed a small massacre first.

(The third attempt featured a guest appearance by an agitated Astarion, who, despite scarcely thinking of her as a friend at the time, did not have the patience or self-control to sit quietly and watch someone be that terrible at opening a fruit. Armed with a knife & righteous irritation, the pomegranate was flayed open into a star-shape and dropped back into her hand before she could say anything. This was not an act of kindness; if he had to watch her perform the same hack job on it again, he was going to start throwing things.)

Fave Season: Winter. They're all nice, of course--she enjoys being outside in any seasonally pleasant weather--but the Levistus bloodline tend to fare well in the cooler temperatures. She can happily doze off under a gentle dusting of snow, if so inclined.

Fave Flower: Bleeding heart flowers. They're so wonderfully delicate, and she's fascinated by their intricate shape. She also thinks they smell just as beautiful as they look. She's also fond of fox gloves, heliotropes, & larkspur.

Fave Scent: She loves clean smells, like fresh sheets or soap. Ocean air can have its pleasant notes. The scent of caramel or toffee can often be enticing enough to make her enter a bakery she wasn't planning to stop at.

Coffee, Tea, or Hot Chocolate: Peppermint tea is her favourite. Another recent, delightful discovery. Most teas aren't strong enough unless she over-steeps them, and that can sometimes make them too bitter, but the peppermint can counteract this (in her mind). She doesn't add anything else to the cup. It was the first thing she asked for after rejecting Bhaal, and oftentimes if she's been drinking earlier in the night.

(Now, if someone were to introduce her to peppermint hot chocolate, she might just find herself unable to choose which was the ultimate favourite.)

Average Sleep Hours: Post-worming, pre-heritage revelation, maybe two hours a night if she wasn't worried about the sleep-murdering or that wretched little creature calling himself her Butler haunting her consciousness. She was absolutely not doing well at this time but carried it as best as she could, and would at least allow herself something similar to a trance if real sleep was off the table. After rejecting Bhaal and ridding herself of Sceleritas (she's unsure which was actually the bigger victory here), she averages out to a more normal 6-7 hours.

(That first week after was the outlier, though. Velrith had no idea over-sleeping was a thing, or that her body would feel so bad after finally getting some desperately needed rest. By far, that was the most disorienting week in her recalled memory.)

Dogs or Cats: Scratch and the Owlbear baby have her heart, but she would probably love a cat too. Truthfully, Velrith has the capacity to enjoy all types of animals equally. There's something comforting about the presence of something four-legged and soft bedside her, who seems to understand her emotions without words (or even judgment).

She's not killing the spiders in the bathroom, she's getting a cup & paper and gently releasing them in the yard.

Dream Trip: Possibly cheating, but anywhere is an answer that works here. So far, her working memory is limited to the Sword Coast & Baldur's Gate. Those places are fine, really, but she's keen to see literally anywhere else if for no other reason than to say she's done it. Besides, how else can she verify if the disgust some of the public seems to feel towards Baldur's Gate is justified?

Amount of Blankets: She's either wrapped under enough blankets to match her own body weight, or nothing at all. As she's come to discover, she seems to crave sensations that exist as some sort of extreme. She's happy at either end of the spectrum, but probably won't be particularly comfortable under just one comforter. (Note: it's possible to replicate the effect of a tiefling's weight in blankets using the body of One (1) vampire. Unlike the blankets, however, he tends to move around more than a quilt, so mileage may vary.)

RandomFact(s):

Her hair is insanely long, thick, & very healthy, the soft white tresses hitting somewhere near her waist when loose. She didn't actually realize this could be a point of vanity until Haelryne (yes, yes, dual protagonist AU) teasingly expressed envy after catching her taking her braid out. Consequently, she discovered how pleasant it could be to allow someone else to brush & play with it. She's slightly self-conscious of this at first, but there's something pretty healing about experiencing your first 'girls nights' with people who seem genuinely excited to have you around.

Her threshold for registering pain is pretty high, and even when she's injured, she's typically pretty calm (life-threatening injuries notwithstanding). She's able to make herself sit for things like stitches or the resetting of bones, expressions of discomfort usually coming out in slight grimaces. There have been multiple occasions where she's alerted someone to needing help with a very even-toned "Oh, I'm bleeding," only for them to turn around & see her holding a cloth up to a wound that's absolutely gushing & would be an understandable cause for panic in literally anyone else.

If she's going to take a bath, it's either on the cusp of a boil, or there's a literal sheet of ice on the water surface. As you can imagine, the number of 'romantic couple's baths' she's partaken in is small.

She rarely raises her voice. "Soft-spoken" seems to imply a level of quiet, or a certain pitch that don't really apply to her (the closest comparison I would make is Katheryn Winnick as Lagertha in Vikings), but it's probably the most applicable shorthand term. While she doesn't typically have a lot of tonal expression, she speaks with a certain melodic quality that's actually fairly soothing if you listen. Of course, she's really only known to speak for extended bouts if she's genuinely comfortable, so it might be some time before you pick up on this. She'd make a wonderful singer, if she was ever so inclined (she will not be).

Her body temperature tends to run a bit lower than most people. Touching her doesn't feel uncomfortable, if anything she's pleasantly cool, especially if you're on the warmer side.

ARIES SEASON, THE CROSS, THE FINISH LINE, THE BEGINNING

Aries season starts with Mercury in Aries, Venus in Pisces, and Mars in Aquarius. The Moon is hanging out in Leo for the first day of the spring equinox. I foresee warm weather, lighter nights, and a feeling that everything is going to be okay. But why is there so much underlying tension?

The Full Moon eclipse in Libra on the 25th of March why, this is a highly emotional fated time, so whilst things may look good externally there is a sea storm happening with you so you are feeling sea sick. Whilst the storm rages on and it has to, in order to elevate you. I will go into details about the Full Moon in a separate reading, but for Aries Season the Libra full moon sets the tone for the rest of your time during this season.

Are you taking on the big guys? Do you have what it takes? Do you have the power to overcome?

Let's delve deeper into the season. Aries is fast-paced and busy. The world around you will appear bustling as everyone is busy doing things and going places. The energy is fun, light, and busy. Take things lightly and as they come. You are reaping the rewards of seeds planted six months ago, so this is a time to be in the play and not plot and create. It is about the new, the experience, the present moment.

The Cross, we have Easter weekend, which will come and go. The Finish Line, our Libra full moon, is balancing out power and redistributing it to us, the people. The Beginning is you looking at the next six months towards the end of the season. You will plant new seeds in Taurus season, and also water the seeds that you planted late last year. It's time for you to review your New Year's resolutions

How will Aries Season be for each sign?

Aries, happy birthday, it's finally your season. You may not be in the mood to celebrate the way you would normally celebrate your birthday. We (it's my birthday too) are having a thoughtful, mindful, and introverted birthday. What I mean is, it's not about filling up your schedule with activities. I see a simple, fulfilling day doing something like watching a movie at lunchtime, sitting in your fav cafe spot and sketching away, or looking for something memorable to do - what you REALLY want to do, not what you are supposed to do. Easter weekend is bringing your hobbies alive, your inner child is beaming, or simply, you may spend time around young children which will make you beam from ear to ear. Family and playtime is around you. The Full Moon in Libra is lighting and sending a lightning bolt to your 7th house, it's electric and buzzy. I see partnerships taking form around your work, help being offered to you, and contracts being signed. The beginning Aries, as your season gets going into Taurus season, you are already feeling the lazy, chilling out vibe from your neighbour. I do see things that were planted 6 months ago coming back around. This is around beliefs and dreams.

Taurus, Aries rules your 12th house, therefore Mars rules your 12th and 7th house. Even though it's spring, you guys don't feel the vibes of the season until your season begins. You are still in hibernation mode, running on reserve battery or being on auto pilot. I believe that you want to preserve your energy. It is your power and you, more than anyone, understand the exchange of energy and you're worth. You know how to rest, do nothing, and preserve and store your energy. You know you're worth (you can teach Aries, Virgo, and Cap a little thing about this) and won’t move until you have to, for the sake of it. So yes, it's not time for you to get up so you will enjoy your time where you are. You can lay all day every day without feeling bad. The Cross, Easter weekend feels emotional for you. You are feeling deeply reflective this time and want people to be easy with you as you are in a fragile reflective state. Rest up, it doesn't matter what the world around you is doing, you will know when you feel ready to join the world again.

Gemini, Aries has awakened your feisty side, as you roll your eyes at me for giving credit to another star sign for who you are. I believe that you have been in your plotting and planning phase and waiting for the time to take action. This Aries season is showing you the possibilities if you take that path that seems like lunacy, but this is the only thing that you can think of to do to get you back on the path that you desire. By Easter weekend, you will be in good spirits. I think all the signs will be, to be honest. Something that was causing a lot of pain and anxiety has lightened up, or you have decided to see yourself as bigger than it. So once the full moon comes along and you are provided with choices to make, you already made your decision with your actions and the Universe sees this and allows for things to manifest for you. As we get into April, you are super positive and happy with your new start and choice.

Cancer, the Sun is transiting your 10th house of career, reputation, and public life and is linked to your 5th house of family, romance, and fun relationships. I see a vindication in how those around you see you. Your reputation restored and respect given to you. I see this Spring as a start of a golden period for you. The turbulent times have gone and you are entering a season of enjoyment. Important contracts to sign are coming your way, Cancer. I am seeing imminently. The Full Moon is a smooth journey for you in contrast to the last year's emotional rollercoaster. However, as Taurus season approaches, another hurdle to overcome looms on the horizon as a new chapter begins for you. You have to lean into new learned skills to help you climb this mountain.

Leo, the sun is transiting your 9th house of higher learning, travel, and religion. The sun's transits are always significant to you as you are the sun is your north star and you will always be looking for ways on how to extravert yourself. This transit is an introspective one for you. Maybe you are looking into new religious studies or finding faith, realising that you do not have an internal faith point or compass to lean on and that you rely on your external world to reflect back to you inside. This has been where you have gone wrong as the inside has all the keys. Easter weekend feels like a somber affair. Your inside is somber and sad and you are looking at where this comes from. Energy Update: Mercury in Virgo, 2023

This afternoon Mercury enters its home sign of Virgo for an extensive two-month stay. Welcome, officially, if you hadn't gotten the memo (which somebody probably forgot to take out of the copier anyway) to Retrograde Season.

Right now we have five planets in retrograde (Venus, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto), and at its peak in the next two months, the number will go up to seven. This is the time of year when we need to go inward and think about the consequences of the actions that we have taken (or have not taken) in our lives. This is business as usual - there is a retrograde period like this every year - but it is out of season which may make a lot of us a bit antsy.

Late summer should be the time for parties, why don't I want to go to them? This is supposed to be summer vacation, why does every day feel like so much damn work?

Ok jewelry time!

I said this in the tags of my first nashi post, but she likes jewelry. anything gold and shiny that catches her eye.

I like to think she gets it from natsu's dragon instincts to hoard shiny stuff but we simply cannot deny that lucy is a child of the rich and (probably) lovveeessss jewelry especially high quality jewelry (me too girl)

natsu gets her little trinkets and size changing weapons that she can wear/make into jewelry when he takes long jobs

Lilly mentions in an ep that size changing weapons are hard to come by, but since they are very handy, i think they would become more popular by the time nashi hits double digits

she's made a hobby of it and stores all the stuff he gifts her that she's not currently using in a jewelry box he gave her when she was ten

the rest of her jewelry is either in storage (other less sentimental jewelry boxes) or stuff she literally never takes off / is just on her desk for easy access

She rotates most of her daily stuff every month or so to match the season but has a few staples (mainly her facial jewelry)

Most of her jewelry is gifts when the rest of the guild catches on that she likes it

it becomes her signature gift to receive from people

Odessa did her pircings - with supervision of course (this is a lie they very much did it with a safety pin in the guildhall bathroom while both sets of parents were on jobs)

Laxus caught them doing this but said nothing because he thought their parents' reaction would be funny

After a long debate with herself and Natsu, they decided leo would be the best fit because leo is closer to nashi than the rest of the spirits are.

Nashi has 7ish silver keys

Horologium, Polaris, Nikora, and the rest would be OCs mainly because i think making them would be fun

She has a tan and maroon striped Nikora that she calls Jupiter since one of his red stripes gets thick at one point on his side

Jupiter was her first key and was a gift from her parents for her 10th birthday

when she was 12, she gave him a little blue scarf so he could match her, and he's worn it ever since

November 18th.

What I love: how the seasons pack blends the border seasons, like here, late fall into early winter. The trees are hanging onto their last leaves, and everything has turned brown from its former glorious reds and oranges. Soon there will be snow, but not yet. TS4 does a beautiful job with the seasons.

What I don’t like: how my story doesn’t match its seasons anymore because too much is happening all at once and I’m taking too long to get the shots. The seasons keep progressing, and I’m not ready. It’s October in my story, and the trees should still be full with color. Peak color. Mods can only take us back to the 1st of September, which would be too green and summer-like, and there’s no way that I know of to get to exactly the day it’s supposed to be, which is October 16th.

Nobody else cares about this except me, I am sure. I’m a bitch to time in my story. I can pinpoint the time down to the year, month, day, hour. Why am I like this? Is it because I’m a Virgo? 😆

Some random thoughts:

I found out yesterday that an acupuncturist and reiki practitioner are getting suites in the same building as my aesthetician

I also noticed she had a witchcraft book on her shelf when I went in for my eyebrow wax yesterday

I'm wearing leggings under my dress today and I'm so comfy

I had a chocolate chip muffin for breakfast today. It's been a minute since I had one, so it was a nice treat

I see Dallon is featured on a new song that came out this week. I'll have to check that out soon

I know what I'm gonna tell my therapist on Tuesday about deciding on head on fighting my depression. I'm ready to tackle it. I'm ready for this to not be a part of my narrative any longer. I sorta (knock wood) feel like I've had my shit together the last couple days, and it feels like a preview of non-depression life. I wanna lean into that, ride the wave of getting shit done as long as I can, and keep it going

I think I'm gonna go on a walk at lunch today, it's supposed to be nice. I'm so glad we're done with the severe weather for a while. Obviously the season is nowhere near over, but we're getting a reprieve

Dunkin Donuts iced coffee is better than all other iced coffee and I will die on that hill

I'm lowkey obsessed with Margot Robbie's hair in the Barbie trailer, her bangs specifically. I just don't know if I would be able to put that much effort into maintaining and styling them every day. Also, a center part is not a good look on my moon face (thanks cancer ascendant! Why couldn't I have held out a little longer and been a Leo ascendant?! Or hell a bit longer still and gotten a virgo ascendant, then I would have had 4 of my big 6 in virgo ☹️)

My plans for this weekend include cleaning, cleaning, eating ham, cleaning, eating chocolate, and more cleaning.

Hi!!! It’s been a while! I don’t have a LOT of headcanons but I have some! Also yes, Natewyn is superior and I can’t WAIT for season 2. Apparently there’s a character who is supposed to cause problems between Nate and Bronwyn so I’m scared lol. Anyways, here are some headcanons!

She is a Virgo/Libra. Like she was literally born at midnight on the cusp. Her family call her a Libra because technically that is what she is, however, anyone who knows Bronwyn knows that she is a Virgo at heart.

Her favourite colour is pastel yellow in the summer, dark emerald green in the winter, red in the autumn, and baby blue in the spring. She definitely has a colour coordinated wardrobe.

Book Bronwyn is autistic in my mind. She has a lot of autistic traits in the book, and it would make a lot of sense if she was autistic.

She drinks hot tea with honey, milk, and no sugar.

She doesn’t love the Divergent movies as much as people think she does. She would much rather read the books, but it is funny when Nate refuses to watch them and when he exaggerates her love for them.

Speaking of Nate and Divergent, he fully believes that Bronwyn loves Theo James more than him.

She doesn’t.

Her favourite Taylor Swift album is all of them. Especially the Taylor’s Versions.

She is very adamant of celebrating ALL of hers and Nate’s anniversaries. The day they first kissed, they day that they got together. The day they got together again. The day they told each other they loved each other. The day they got engaged, and the day they got married. You get the point.

Her favourite day is Thursday.

Her favourite holiday is Christmas. Nate and his parents always come over for Christmas dinner and gift giving.

Her favourite movie is actually 10 things I hate about you.

She studied Law at Yale and went on to work for a law firm like Until Proven.

She cried so much when Nate proposed. Like, a lot of tears. They were good tears but still. A lot.

(Nate also cried just as much as she did)

Her love language is quality time and physical touch. She loves Nate’s hugs.

Hello my divine queen... I'm writing with the request as I promised~ sorry it took some time, I had night shift so I was in state of uselessness all morning lol. Alright, let me get started so I don't take away much of your precious time~

When it comes to my personality traits, I'm convinced you're one of the people that know me the best but I would describe myself as a person with impeccable sense of humour, who's socially awkward beyond imagination with prominent sprinkles of anxiety and over-thinking. I also do like to consider myself to be open-minded and fairly patient (but the occasional anger outbursts are inevitable as the society we live in is packed with idiots).

As far as I'm concerned with my hobbies, I'm college student so I'm not allowed to have any of those... of course, I'm kidding :) my hobbies include unhealthy amount of day-dreaming, recetly I picked up playing the piano again, writing, listening to music, gaming, avoidance of fellow human beings and my responsibilities.

Some of my *favourites* that I can think of:

Movies and/or series - Hotarubi no Mori e, Doukyuusei (this is my comfort anime movie), Anna and the King, LOTR, Stranger Things (of course this masterpiece needs to make the list-)

Songs - any Imagine Dragons song, lots of The Neighbourhood songs, and some of the recent songs I'm obsessing over are Bon Jovi - You Give Love a Bad Name, Nirvana - Come as You Are, Kings of Leon - Sex on Fire, Metallica - Enter Sandman (I swear it's not just a phase mom...)

Places - my bed :) or nature (unless it's pollen season, allergy hits like a bitc-)

My dreams and aspirations include figuring the fuck out how I'm supposed to get my life together... genuinely, I don't have any specific goal at the moment, maybe just graduating from the hell hole college of mine hi hi... and after that just finding much needed balance in my personal life~

You come home, letting out an exhausted sigh as you let your bag hit the ground. You slip your shoes off and hang your jacket before you make your way further into your flat, the one you share with Felix.

He is exactly who you're searching for now as you take a peak inside your kitchen only to find it empty, yet there's a lingering smell of something delicious luring you in and so you cross the doorstep and make your way to the stove. He left some noodles for you that he cooked earlier, making you smile to yourself at his thoughtfulness.

"Hey," the deep voice coming from behind you makes you turn around quickly only to be met with Felix leaning against the doorframe, a small smile on his plush lips.

"Hi," you grin tiredly.

"I left you some noodles. It's the one you liked the last time," he states as he approaches you, making you curse your heart for skipping a beat at his sudden proximity.

"Thanks, Lixie. I really appreciate that," you murmur, looking at the food to avoid facing your roommate who leans against the counter right next to you, facing you with a smile on his stupidly handsome face.

"How was today?"

"Freaking sucked," you admit, letting out an exhausted sigh as you dare to glance up at him only to be met with sympathetic pout on his lips.

"I'm sorry to hear that. We could- we could game for a while if you'd like to. I actually made some progress in Genshin while you were gone," he states and you can't help but smile.

"Oh, you did? You have to show me," you state, suddenly feeling a bit more energized at the promise of spending time with him doing something you both actually enjoy. That might be just the right thing to help you get rid of all the stress that university life is giving you.

"For sure!" He nods with a grin.

"I-I'll just change and I'll be right back," you say, pushing away from the stove and heading for the door.

"I'll warm up the noodles for you," he offers.

"Thanks, Lixie!"

"No prob."

After you change into pair of sweatpants and an oversized t-shirt that maybe, just maybe used to belong to your roommate, you join him in the living room, your steaming bowl of noodles already waiting for you and so is Felix, controller in a hand and the game on the tv, yet his attention is on you the minute you enter the room, making your cheeks warm up.

"Thank you for the food," you murmur as you slide on the couch next to him, keeping a respectful distance.

"It's alright. You deserve to be taken care of," he states matter-of-factly, adverting his eyes to the screen, leaving you staring at him with lips softly parted. Sometimes you wonder if this boy is even real.

When you snap out of your little stupor you reach for the bowl and actually start eating, while watching Felix play.

As the time passes by, the noodles disappear from your bowl bit by bit while you and Felix engage in playful banter. He tells you about his dance practices and the new song he's working on with Hyunjin while you tell him about what a hell your major is these days, you both laughing at all the escapades you've been through so far.

Eventually, you put the bowl back on the table, leaving it empty before you adjust your position on the couch, looking for something more comfortable until you somehow end up with your head on Felix's shoulder. He doesn't seem to mind, too focused on the screen and the game and so you stay like that, ignoring the wild thrumming of your heart.

Felix senses you're getting tired and so he reaches for a blanket, covering your form before casually going back to talking, lowering his voice now, keeping his tone gentle and quiet as he tells you about all he managed to achieve in the game while you were away, the sound of his voice lulling you to sleep. You cuddle up closer to him, wrapping your hand around his arm as your eyes get heavier and heavier, your soft touches sending Felix into cardiac arrest even though he seems as calm as ever.

He eventually quiets down completely, the game practically forgotten now as he finds himself looking down at you, dozed off with your face nuzzled into his shoulder, fisting the material of his hoodie in your balled hand.

He can't help the way his heart clenches at the sight of you, not when you look so sweet, not when moments like this are so rare with the two of you. He leans closer to you, careful not to wake you up before he plants a soft kiss on your forehead, a small smile settling on his lips once he pulls away.

“I got you, darling."

🖌 - Do you have/want any tattoos?

I have one tattoo on the right side of my waist. It’s of my zodiac sign in cursive writing and the symbol above it. I do want more though!

Purple! 💜

Pancakes, bacon, and eggs. It was at like 1am but I was literally starving so Marcus cooked it all.

Of course! Fun fact: I was supposed to get married in November of 2020 but then covid happened. NOW we’re trying to save up on our own because our families keep trying to take over. Still want a Fall wedding though 🫶🏼

I love it! When I was younger I hated it, I have no idea why.

My mom loves reading the Bible, Saint books, and Angel books. She told me she always loved the archangel Gabriel, so there you have it! She also said she liked the nickname Gaby.

Graduated college in 2020. Never had a graduation ceremony or anything. Thanks COVID.

I’m Latina so you already know my ears have been pierced since I was 4 months old. Then when I was 17 I got my bellybutton pierced. Idk why but I did want to get my nips pierced lmao but not anymore. Sorry that might have been tmi.

Dark brown. They almost look black but in the sunlight you can see the brown come out.

Just straight down. I never really do anything with my hair unless I’m going out to a special occasion. My hair is also naturally straight so I’ll just wash it, brush it, and go.

🥂 - Have you ever drank underage?

Unfortunately I did succumb to peer pressure with this one. Although I did try (and throw it up) beer in high school, my freaking DAD gave me beer in my purple and yellow SIPPY-CUP when I was like five. Then you know, drinking in college. It was a “dry campus” even if you were 21+ and everyone hated that.

Again, unfortunately. I’ve only blacked out twice though.

Don’t come for me… but I genuinely don’t have one. There are things I don’t necessarily like, but not to the point that I’m genuinely afraid and can’t function around it.

Too cold. I absolutely HATE being hot. It’s easier to warm up if I’m cold too.

Sunny with a light breeze. Nothing too hot and not cold enough to need a jacket. (I freaking hate jackets btw)

I got tagged to answer some questions like half a year ago(oh wow😳) by one of my besties @brotherspankus-streaming (Thank you, King ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️) Please go watch his streams! Sometimes there are cats!

Without further ado(unless you wanted more ado... haha jk... unless?👀):

Last Album?

So I actually haven't listened to all the new music from some of my favorite artists this year because I've been busy but at the start of the year I listened to all of "Ctrl" by SZA. This album effortlessly slides into my top 10 favorite albums. I don't know why I didn't get into SZA before but in January I was like "I need more of her voice", I decided to listen to more of her stuff and now I'm a huge fan. CTRL is such a good album within which SZA allows herself to be vulnerable about her relationships, insecurities and other things that people would generally never admit. My favorite song from CTRL is "Broken Clocks" but every now and then a different one comes back to me that I have on repeat for weeks. Also she casually mentions that she's dated women on this album(which came out in 2017) and confirmed it in a follow-up interview but I never really see people mention her as a queer/lgbt+ artist which is strange to me.

Last Movie?

Last movie I watched was Dr Strange in the Multiverse of Madness(it's finally available in HD digitally for you to DisneyMinus it). NOW I'M NOT ONE OF THE MCU GIRLIES but I do like spiderman movies and the last one had a end credits trailer(marvel studios, normal movies don't have these!!) for this one so I decided I would watch it too. However, I know marvel movies insist on trying to be some sort of fucked up gestalt so I watched WandaVision and Dr Strange 1 beforehand. DSMOM was not that good imo. The feats of power weren't really that impressive, they BARELY explored the multiverse for a movie that was supposed to be about it(Unlike our beloved All of It All Around At the Same Time ) and I believe they nerfed Wanda so that she wouldn't win her fights before they started. Wanda's lines were very iconic though and I think those saved the movie.

Currently Reading?

I started Chainsaw Man(manga) by Tatsuki Fujimoto a while back but I've been lazy with the reading so I'm not very far(I've become weak;teenage me used to finish entire manga series in like 2 days). I'm like 2 chapters in and it's alright but idk if I'll like it. It's very highly rated and popular among weebs, which isn't really a great vote of confidence, so I'm hoping it's good.

I haven't read any actual novels in while but I think I'll get the next book in the "Chronicles of the Avatar Series" once it comes out in a few days so I can find out the tea on Yangchen.

Currently Watching?

Harley Quinn(animated series). I'm not a huge DC(or marvel) fan because I was a weeb as a teen but it's refreshing to see DC from a modern and relatable point of view. I love observational humor and series that don't take themselves too easily so I really like this one.

I'm also watching Odd Taxi(anime). I don't think it's very popular but it got good ratings and was recommended by a close friend. It's alright so far.

I'm like halfway through Our Flag Means Death(live-action show) but I got busy and forgot about it. It's not bad but pirates and that time period aren't always interesting to me.

As I'm writing this I'm receiving word that season 4 of What We Do in the Shadows has started so I guess that's how I'll be spending my night.

Currently Craving?

Something sweet... a peach tree... Jk I'm not a wild woman and I do get the blues. Anyway maybe something savory like ____ or chicken?

Hi I am a June Cancer by zodiac sign, but like winter a bit more I think. I am very shy and quiet with strangers, but I am more open with good friends and family. I still have a hard time with people because I never know what to do with my feelings and I can't put them into words very well. I also have to say that I have big mood swings.. I like to paint and I also like to read, but only things I really like. I want my partner to be honest with me, not a show-off, to feel comfortable with me and treat me well. I think that arguments are part of a relationship, as long as we find a reasonable way. I like to keep my relationship more private and on the road small attentions are perfectly fine. I like to go on little dates, no matter when, but I'm also often a homebody.

❧ a fellow cancer :D although i'm a july cancer aksfkdjfk lucas is a virgo and virgos are supposed to be pretty compatible with cancers!! both of my exes are virgos but shhh it's ok

❧ to me lucas seems like an in between seasons kinda guy, like autumn and spring, but i could see him totally vibing with winter. he'd take you to all the scenic locations that get really pretty when it snows, and he goes all out with the comfy sweaters and hot drinks and cuddling by the fire

❧ he finds your shy side very endearing and adorable and has no problem with taking over conversations with new people for you. he finds that there's value in being quiet when you first meet someone as you can give yourself the opportunity to get a feel for their character and personality before revealing yourself to them. he also loves seeing you begin to slowly open up around others and show your personality; he saw it for himself when you guys first met and he loves rewatching it everytime you make a new friend

❧ he's incredibly patient with you and gives you all the time you need to put your thoughts and feelings into words. if it's just the two of you, he'll sit you down and listen carefully to you explaining what you're trying to say and then makes suggestions as to what that feeling could be or re-explains it to see if he understands. if you're with others and having trouble he'll still show the same level of patience and leave it up to you to decide if you want to keep trying to find the right words or if you need him to help you out. if it's the latter, all you have to do is look over at him and he'll basically try to fill in your sentences for you until you get caught up. and if anyone tries to interrupt you while you're talking or judges you for being too slow, lucas will send a sharp glare their way that instantly shuts them up

❧ the mood swings aren't a problem for him either. he has your personality down pat from being with you for so long that he's an expert at handling them. he focuses on what you need from him in that moment, whether it's to be left alone or to vent out your frustrations, and he'll do whatever it is. his main priority is to make sure you don't hurt yourself in any way, like if you're prone to throwing or breaking things or hitting yourself or exhausting yourself to the point of collapse, he'll make sure he prevents those outcomes before he acts on what you need from him. it's a very fine tuned process he has, but it suits your needs perfectly. if you feel any guilt from your mood swings and try to apologize to him, he'll gently shut you up with a kiss and reassure you that you'll never be a bother to him and he loves every part of you, no exceptions

❧ he's not super good at or into painting, but if you want him to paint alongside you he'll do it, but his painting always end up being something related to you. he'll do a portrait of you or paint your favorite flowers or animal or recreate the landscape where he took you on your first date. he'll keep anything you paint and somehow finds room to display every single painting. i hc him as a bit of a maximalist so his walls and shelves are full of stuff, but he always finds room for you <3 he'll also gift you new paints and canvases and brushes and even invests in a nice easel for you. if you like to work from observation, he'll help you find the perfect reference to work off of; he'll even go as far as to take you on a little trip to the most beautiful scenery if you're in the mood for painting a landscape. his house isn't super big, but he dedicated a little corner as your own art studio, it even has a window for natural light

❧ he loves reading too, but he's more of a casual reader, like he'll read maybe one or two books a month. he has plenty of books on his shelves for you to choose from, but the selection is far from that of a library or a bookstore, so if you can't find a book that suits your fancy, he'll take you into town so you can browse bookshops and libraries. if you prefer to buy books rather than borrowing them from a library, he'll treat you and buy you one book every month so that way you can grow your own personal library of books that you really like

❧ lucas does keep a few secrets, and he speak in riddles sometimes, so it may feel like he's hiding things from you, but all you have to do is confront him and ask him to tell you things and, although he may be hesitant to tell you if it happens to be a serious matter, he'll eventually tell you what he's keeping, and he never lies to you. the worst he'll ever do is lying by omission, but upon your request he'll tell you whatever it is you'd like to know

❧ he's far from a show off, but he does try to do little things with the hopes of impressing you, but that's mainly things like trying a new recipe or demonstrating a new spell. he feels there's no reason for him to show off cuz he's got nothing to really prove to you; he believes that you love him for who he is and he shouldn't have to fight for your love and attention

❧ he may have been kinda distant with you at first, especially before you two became a couple, but that was mainly because he was scared of losing you. now that y'all are in a great relationship, he's loosened up a lot and shares things about himself and even started delving into his past, lucky you. and a big part of this is because he trusts you, he knows that you won't turn against him or leave him for someone else, and with this he knows that he finally has his person and allows himself to let his walls down and finally let someone in

❧ he treats you so well, like he'd do literally anything for you; he looks at you like you hung the stars up in the sky by hand. he indulges you in all your interests and wants to try them out himself as he wants to understand you on every level he can. and his treating you well goes much farther than just spoiling you every now and then and paying attention to your personality and interests; lucas respects you. he knows that you can take care of yourself and he doesn't see you as someone who needs his care. don't get me wrong, he wants to care for you, but he recognizes that you're capable of so much and you don't need him babying you and making all the decisions for you. if you need his help, he'll be there in a heartbeat, but until then he trusts you to and knows that you can make the right decisions for yourself. he's your partner, not your keeper, ya feel?

❧ he agrees that arguments are necessary and inevitable in a relationship. he loathes the idea of fighting with you and yelling at you, so if he ever feels that one of you is getting too heated during an argument, he'll advise that the two of you take a break to cool down and then y'all can come back to it later. arguments would probably be something that was brought up as a concern early on in the relationship cuz he knows they happen and he wants the two of you to be on the same page for when they come up. he'll make sure to hear you out when it's your turn to speak and he'll never interrupt you, and the arguments always end in a compromise and no hard feelings

❧ he's not a very braggy person, so keeping your relationship on the down low is no problem at all for him. he might bring it up in conversations, saying something like "oh yeah y/n, my partner, is making dinner tonight", but he'll never bust into a room yelling about the details of your relationship lol. pda is fine by him as well, i could see him enjoying holding hands or having an arm wrapped around you or helping you down a step or even kissing the back of your hand. his pda is all subtle and sweet; it's clear to others y'all are in a relationship but it's not so much that it's rubbing it in everyone's face

❧ i often mention him taking you places on dates or on little adventures, which is for sure something he loves doing with you, but he also understands your desire to stay home and just chill. i see him as the kind of person who is always out and about doing something, but with you in his life he's come to appreciate just being at home with the person he loves most. he starts suggesting more at home date nights, like reading a book to each other or trying a new recipe or even a fun painting game. he loves how domestic just being at home with you can be; y'all don't even have to be doing anything special, it could just be a cleaning day and he'd enjoy every second of it as long as it's spent with you nearby
