Chapter 9: And I always will know
Last chapter ~ Next chapter
Words:1230
Poe looks across the clearing. Having just settled on Ajan Kloss, they were planning next steps, Poe was talking with the other remaining Resistance leaders but he couldn’t keep his eyes off of Roshwen. Since the escape from Crait he had noticed some changes in her appearance, her red hair had grown out longer, she wore it loose, her eyes seemed brighter lately, but more than anything she smiles all the time now. Just as he was admiring her, she turns to look at him that smile still on her face. He smiles back a slight blush on his face. The meeting ended and Poe jogs over to Rhoswen.
“Have I told you how beautiful you are today?” He asks taking her into his arms and kissing her forehead.
“I think at least three times but I don’t mind hearing it again.” She laughs as she takes his jacket collar in her hands pulling him down to press a kiss onto his lips. It seems like they were always this close, always making up for lost time. It got a lot of resistance fighters talking, he was their best pilot, and she was practically resistance royalty, hell her code name was “The Princess.” They had been such bitter rivals that it was a shock to the system for most when they saw them together.
The one person who was not surprised was Leia. Even now from afar she watches the two love birds with a knowing look. Poe was so much like Han, it was obvious to Leia the second the two met that this would inevitably happen. No matter how much the two fought or swore they hated the other, she knew deep in her heart they would find each other in the end. She takes one last glance at her daughter and the man she had come to consider a son before wandering off to talk to some of the other Resistance leaders.
~
“Okay You gotta at least admit the scenery Is lovely.” Poe said as they walked through the forest of the Planet.
“Trees? And rocks…And more trees? Yes very lovely.” Roshwen laughs, her fingers intertwined with his as they walked hand in hand. “You grew up on Yavin 4 haven’t you seen trees before?”
“Hey, different kind of trees.” Poe protested. With a laugh Roshwen let’s go of his hand and turns around and starts walking backwards as she looks at Poe. She puts her hands behind her back.
“So, are we just… exploring or is there a reason for this excursion?”
“What am I not allowed to just enjoy your company? Does every minute we spend together have to be a well-executed plan?” Poe acts defensive.
“No, But you keep looking ahead like you’re waiting for something in particular.” She says cocking her eyebrow at him. Poe knew he was made.
“Alright…Alright. I may have come out this way before and left…a surprise.” He looks at her with an attempt of innocent doe eyes. She laughs.
“I swear Dameron its always like this with you. You know you don’t have to woo me, I’m here. I’m with you aren’t I?” She shakes her head at him before turning the right way and kept walking.
“I-I know but…” he sighs. “Look I just have one really big thing to make up for and I feel like I have to do something big to make up for it.” He admits, as he takes her hand in his again. Rhoswen has some idea of what he’s talking about but she decided to stay quiet as they walk to the destination. A grassy knoll in the middle of the forest comes up and in it is a blanket. “A Picnic? That’s…really kinda sappy.” She teases as he guides her to the blanket.
“Not a picnic, a Peace offering.” He smiles as they sit down on the blanket. “Look after your dads funeral I said something super crappy. Something unforgivably terrible, and I…I can’t take it back, but I just need you to know that I regretted it every day. Every fight we had, every time you disobeyed an order…I knew that if I had just not said that...I was supposed to be there, by your side. And I was stupid. Can you ever forgive me?”
“Poe…” Rhoswen looks at him tears in her eyes. “Of course I can forgive you, you didn’t mean it. I know you didn’t mean it.” She touches his face, looking into his dark brown eyes.
“But you avoided me and fought with me and…if it wasn’t about what I said what was it all for?” Poe looked back into her eyes, leaning into her touch as he reaches out to touch her face as well.
“Poe…you’re basically a clone of my dad, personality wise, same humor, same attitude, same stubbornness…It was too much, a constant reminder, during a time when…I wasn’t ready to admit he was really gone.” She explains, a soft smile plays across her face. Poe’s brow furrows.
“But…that’s okay now? That I’m like your dad?” He asks. He was ready to completely change his entire personality to keep her. He would become any one. As if she could read his mind she tuts at him.
“I don’t want you to change. Ever. It’s gone from a hurtful reminder, to something I rely on. I don’t think I could make it a day without hearing one of your snarky remarks.” Her voice is full of love and affection, as she runs her thumb along his cheek. He smiles at her.
“Well I’m never lacking in that department.”
“Much to the disappointment of others.”
“Hey…well that’s fair.” They both laugh.
When they get back the sun had already set and people were getting ready to turn in for the night. Poe turns to Roshwen, the picnic blanket under his arm.
“So, Um…You wanna…Uh…” Poe rubs the back of his neck trying to figure out how to ask the question. She laughs.
“I think what you’re looking for is ‘Bunk together’ and yes, I’d be happy to.” Rhoswen smirks at him as he blushes. With how crazy everything had been, they hadn’t actually been going to sleep around the same time so bridging the topic of sleeping in the same space hadn’t come up. Other activities in a bed, sure, whenever they could get away, but just sleeping…it seemed backwards.
As they walked into the cave system where the base was built into they made a turn at the lace for the bunks. Poe noticed as they walked into the makeshift Barracks that Finn had already fallen asleep in the bunk next to his. He looked to Rhoswen with his finger to his lips as he tucked the spare blanket under his bed. Poe lay in the bunk and scooted as far over as he could without falling off. Rhoswen lay next to him her back to his chest as they curled up around each other. Poe places his arm carefully around her. They wish each other a quiet good night as they settle in. His face nuzzled into her hair as he holds her close. He lays awake as he feels her breathing slow until she’s fallen asleep. As He finally starts to drift off himself He can’t help but think, this is how he wants to fall asleep every night.

i'm still mad about how john boyega and kelly marie tran got so much hate and that disney did nothing about it. they literally threw them to the wolves. finn's character was done so dirty and he had so much wasted potential. i just can't get over how much finn was shafted in these movies, from a promising start to being another jedi to being a side character doing nothing but screaming "REY!!!" also, the fact that kmt was completely sidelined in tros and had like 2 minutes of screentime.
John Boyega was right when he called out Disney and those same fans who spent half a decade saying the most vile, hateful shit turned around and called him ungrateful. Ungrateful for WHAT? For having to tolerate easily the worst fans in existence, for not being happy with the verbal abuse from adults who will never realize nothing can touch the magic these movies held for them as children BECAUSE you saw them as children?
And the whole thing with Rose. People were mad at her for *squints at notes* being the victim of a bad script and being a WOC who thought she deserved space in what a lot of men believe is a franchise only for them.
Adam Driver escaped all the criticism of these films and people LOVE to say it's because he's a good actor instead of using their brains. What do Kelly, Daisy, Oscar and John all have in common, pals? And I'm not saying he's NOT a good actor, but he got a total pass while Daisy and Kelly were bullied off the internet and John faced endless racism the studio turned a blind eye to. Kylo's arc was just as obnoxiously awful and while I don't think Ben should have lived (it's the genocide for me. I know people wanted Bendemption but he was headed for a republic work camp after the Hosnian disaster), .6 seconds of his on screen redemption before death was cheap and yet no one was mad at Adam for it.
But Rose rescues Finn from death on Crait and we all need to personally punish Kelly for it.

I keep thinking about what the fallout/consequences of Poe dying in TFA would have been.
-Leia would blame herself, of course. She should have let Black Squadron go with Poe after all in case the FO showed up and they did.
-If Kes is still alive at this point, he'd blame and resent Leia, then he'd die of despair.
-Snap would also blame himself. He would also be Poe's replacement at Takodana, Starkiller Base, D'Qar, Crait, Exegol... it'd make sense since he was in the Aftermath trilogy first. I'm not sure about the "Despair event horizon" that Poe had right before Lando showed up. Snap's wife dying might be a bit too harsh. So either that or Snap does die and Finn has that despair event horizon moment (which would be even more similar to Captain America's DEE in Endgame).
-As for Kaz... well, that's kind of like a "mentor occupational hazard" without actually being one. Would Poe still be the one to recruit Kaz, or would it be either Snap or Leia herself? And his line "Our last mission together can't be our last mission ever!" would be harsher in hindsight. As for him finding out...he'd find out from Norath and Hugh. I suppose it would go something like this:
Hugh: Poe seemed like a good guy. I wish I could have met him.
Kaz: What do you mean?
Hugh: (Looks awkwardly at Norath) You didn't tell him?
Norath: I thought he knew.
Kaz: Knew what?
Norath: Kaz...Poe is gone. Like gone-gone.
Kaz: What...? How?
Norath: He died on Jakku after escaping from the First Order.
Kaz would also blame himself, because he was the last person to see him alive. He should have begged Poe to let him tag along. Poe wouldn't have let him, but still. Yeager and Neeku would also be saddened by the news.
-Terex would have a field day, but he would also be slightly saddened at the loss of a formidable foe.
-For real life meta... well, I don't know, actually. Would Poe's parents be introduced? Would Shattered Empire, Empire Ascendant, and ROTJ The Rebellion 1 exist? Would the Poe Dameron comics and comics that took place before TFA that featured Poe, and Poe's story in Before the Awakening exist? Would Poe Dameron: Flight Log exist? Or would it be Poe Dameron's Final Flight Log? That'd be slightly depressing.

Chapter 10 (pt. 5)
When he was taken in to see Leia, he was a little surprised to see a number of other council members and officers there. He knew everyone needed to know, but he thought she would want to hear it all in private first.
"Sorry, we couldn't let you rest longer Commander." Colonel Waltok addressed him as he stood at attention.
"I understand."
"This situation is unusual for a start. We'd like you to explain what happened. Captain Chell told us he isn't in control of his powers."
"That's correct."
"You were also on the Star Destroyer, before you went missing?"
He raised an eyebrow. "Yes. I was helping take down the weapon that was wrecking our fleet, but you know that."
"Poe." Leia spoke up with that warning tone he'd heard from Ben a lot recently.
"I'm sorry. I've been trapped on an uninhabited planet for 3 months and that's the first question I get?" He knew he shouldn't be short with him, but he was tired and wanted to get to the important parts.
"Fine." The Colonel sounded amused. "Do you want to get right into why you were trapped with Kylo Ren and what happened to his powers?"
"Preferably."
He just gave a simple gesture for him to continue.
"I'm sure Chell already told you. Ben was the weapon. They put some sort of paneling in his arms and were draining his powers. They were torturing him."
There were a few interested looks, but a couple of smirks as well. Poe couldn't help but find himself a little annoyed about that.
"I got him out of there and to an escape pod. He could hardly move for the first couple of weeks."
"So you willingly rescued him?" Another person asked.
"Yes. He was hurt and unconscious. I thought we could use him."
"Has he revealed anything about the Order?"
"Not much, but he doesn't know any of their recent activities. They overthrew him right after Crait and he's pretty much been comatose until I got him out." He kept glancing at Leia as he spoke. She was listening, but didn't look like she was going to say anything.

She couldn't believe what she was hearing. All the fleet's support ships were now destroyed by the first order. The command ship was all that remained. While the pilot was more distraught about the whole situation, Poe was livid. After being with him for a few years, she’d learned his mannerisms and how he acts when he's angry. He becomes impulsive, well, more than normal, and does things he wouldn't normally do. His heart is so big, and he feels so much for people, even if he doesn't act like he does. That's why it hurts him so much to see their own people dying when it could have been avoided.
From the second he stormed out of the room they were in; she knew he was bound to stir up trouble. Quickly following him, (y/n) reached and gently grabbed his hand, stopping him.
"Poe, you can't go up there. I know you're upset but I don't think we could change Holdo's mind."
He rips his hand from her’s with a look of rage. "We’re gonna die (y/n)! And I guess you don’t know me if you think I’m just going to go along with it!"
Hurt flashed in her eyes as he stormed towards the bridge once again. Around the corner, she could hear Poe’s all too familiar voice, “She in there?”
D’acy’s stressed one now made an appearance. “The admiral’s banned you from the bridge. Let’s not have a scene.”
“No, let’s.”
‘This is not going to be good’, (y/n) thought, so she quickly turned the corner. When she entered the bridge, the sight was a complete surprise to her. She expected Poe to continue yelling at Holdo, but he stopped as he looked behind the famed Admiral.
“Are you fueling up the transports?” he asks incredulously, walking past her to get a better look. “You are.”
(Y/n) knew what this meant just as much as Poe did. They were going to be sitting sucks in the transports. A lot of people would die if they went through with Holdo’s plan.
It was now her turn to get involved. “All of them? We’re abandoning ship? Is that..” she looked at her so-called leader for any answers but got none. “That’s what you got? That’s what you brought us to?”
In a rageful frenzy, Poe kicked over a nearby crate and threw down a chair. “Coward!” He cried. “Those transport ships are unarmed, unshielded. If we abandon this cruiser, we’re done.”
This caught the attention of everyone in the bridge. (Y/n) moved to stand beside Poe, announcing. “We don’t stand a chance!”
Poe decided to take it a step farther, pointing at Holdo. “No, you are not just a coward, you are a traitor.”
Silence hung in the room for a few seconds before the Admiral’s angry voice cut through it. “Get this man off my bridge and take her with him.”
As they were being escorted out by the guards, (y/n) grabbed Poe’s hand, and this time, he didn’t pull away from her.
~
As he was in the hangar, trying to explain their plan to Holdo, (y/n) couldn’t help but reflect on everything that had led up to this moment; Finding the map to Luke, the battle to destroy Starkiller, and the attack that left Leia in a coma. So much had happened in the span of a week that it was a lot for someone to process. She’s snatched from her thoughts by the loud voice of Holdo.
“You have bet the survival of the Resistance on bad odds and put us all at risk! There’s no time now. We have to get clear of the cruiser.” She turns around to address the transport pilots, announcing, “Load the transports.”
“Right away, Admiral.” One responded.
She turned to pass Poe, and as she did so, five soldiers other than Poe and (y/n) raised their weapons on her as he spoke. “Vice Admiral Holdo, I am relieving you of your command for the survival of this ship, its crew, and the Resistance.”
She didn’t react but spoke plainly. “I hope you know what you’re doing.”
“Yeah,” he responds, nodding to (y/n). “We’re going to the bridge. If they move, stun them.”
On their way, he turned to her. “I’m sorry about earlier. I didn’t mean to snap at you.”
“I know you didn’t. You just get worked up about stuff and say things in the heat of the moment.”
Leaning over to kiss her temple, he whispered, “Have I told you how much I love you?”
“I don’t believe so,” she laughs.
“Well just wait until to-”
A loud noise cuts him off as sirens ring out in the bridge. They run the rest of the way to see that Holdo has taken over again and is heading their way.
“Seal that door!” Poe yells over the chaos.
A few seconds later, sparks fly from around the door. (Y/n)’s heart drops in her chest. She knew this plan was a big risk, but she always had faith in Rose and Finn. Over the comms they told the bridge to get ready for lightspeed, so with his finger on the switch, Poe took cover behind the Admiral’s chair, gun ready. He called for (y/n) to come take cover next to him, and as she was running to him, the door burst open. Everyone stopped dead in their tracks when the dust settled, revealing General Organa. Poe had a bluurg in the headlights look on his face.
“Leia-“ he started, but was quickly shut up by a stun blast from the General’s gun. (Y/n) started to run forward to help him but was too shot by a stun pulse.
“Those two are going to be the death of me.” She commented.
~
Poe woke up with a start, gasping for breath before realizing where he was. “No. No. No, no, no.” He uttered, running to the window of the transport. He was somewhat calmed by the General calling his name. As he sat down, D’acy explained the plan and how Crait was going to save them from the First Order. After a few minutes of listening, a realization hit him like a train.
“Where’s (y/n)?” he asked frantically.
“Don’t worry, she’s just in another transport.”
This did nothing to ease his nerves, and when the First Order started firing and destroying some of the transports, his heart dropped to his stomach. With every ship that was destroyed, his hope became less and less she was still alive. Tears filled his eyes at the thought of never seeing her smile again or hearing her infectious laugh.
Leia calling his name once again catches his attention. “Poe! I’ve found her on comms!”
Rushing to her, he takes the radio from her hands. “(Y/n/n)! Are you there?”
“I’m here Poe! It doesn’t look good, so I just want to tell you that I-”
Her voice cut out, leaving only static.
“(Y/n)! (Y/n)? No! Come on, answer me!”
There were no words to describe the dread and grief that he felt in that moment. Throwing the radio on the ground, he goes over to the window and drags his hand down it before placing his face in his hands. He allowed the tears to escape his eyes as he fully takes it in. She was gone. Breaking down, he begins to sob into his hands. Leia soon accompanies him in his grief. If there’s one person who knows about loss, it’s her.
The young man could tell she was trying to talk to him, but numbness filled his soul. He had nothing but the Rebellion to live for now. He would never get to have a wedding with her, or kids, or even see the end of the war together. All the hope he had for the future was completely gone. Nothing mattered anymore.
Poe was still in this trance when they landed on Crait. When everyone else had left the transport, he remained onboard, unable to move from his spot. Memories flashed in his mind from when they first met.
When Poe laid eyes on her, he had to do a double take. She had just gotten out of her X-Wing, still in her bright orange flight suit as she took off her helmet to reveal a smile that instantly hade his day. Another pilot soon joined her in conversation as they walked through the hangar. Wex noticed his staring and smacked his arm. “Come on. The General wants you.” With a longing sigh, he went to go find Leia. When he found her, she was standing next to the very pilot that had caught his eye.
“Commander Dameron,” she started. “This is (y/n) (y/l/n), one of the pilots being promoted. I expect you to fill her in on our leadership procedures.”
He reached his hand out with his signature grin. “Nice to meet you, (y/l/n). I’m Poe Dameron, Commander of Black Squadron.”
Taking his hand, she flashed her own. The first day she had arrived on base, she’d heard of the famous Commander Dameron and his charming personality. Although she had vowed to herself that she wouldn’t fall victim to his devilish looks, standing there in front of him, she couldn’t help but be captivated by him.
“I’m (y/n) (y/l/n)…but you already knew that.” She mentally slapped herself as she blushed.
Poe chuckled, “Yes I did.”
Seeing her blush was one of the cutest things he had ever seen, and he vowed to make sure to make her blush as much as he could in the future.
Present Day
As he sat there in, frozen in his seat, a shadow was cast in front of him.
“Go away.” He cried, hands still in his hands. The figure slowly walked up the ramp and into the small craft. They kneeled in front of him, putting their hands on his arms, rubbing them lovingly. Immediately, his head shot up at the familiar touch.
He looked like a blerrg in headlights as he croaked, “(Y/n)?”
“Yeah, I’m here. What’s wrong, P-”
He cut her off with a bone-crushing hug, not minding her yelp of surprise. “I thought you were gone…when your transmission cut out, I thought. I thought I’d lost you.”
Now everything made sense to the girl who was so confused before. All she did was wrap her arms around Poe and allow him to bury his head into her neck. She knew exactly how he felt. There had been so many times he wouldn’t arrive back home on a mission on time and she’d thought he was dead, too.
“I’m here. I’m alright.” She whispered.
For a few more moments, the couple held onto each other as if they would slip through their fingers like shifting sand if they let go. They were brought back to reality when sirens started to blare throughout the base. Pulling apart, Poe placed a soft kiss against her lips.
“I love you. And please, for my sake, never do that again.”
“You know I love you too, Flyboy. Now, let’s go help the others.”
With a nod, they ran out of the craft, hand in hand towards the commander’s room, ready to take on whatever was coming their way.

⭐Happy Star Wars Day!!!⭐ In honor of May the 4th, I'd like to pitch to you a TV show idea of mine called Star Wars: The Missing Year. A 26-episode minimum, animated by either Titmouse Animation (Galaxy of Adventures) or Studio Mir (Voltron, The Legend of Korra). We all know that The Rise of Skywalker takes place a year after The Last Jedi, right? What exactly happened during that year? Well I've got a few ideas of my own. Synopsis: Rey and friends have escaped on the Millenium Falcon from Crait to take refuge on a planet called Batuu (see Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge). Shortly after landing, however, they discover that the First Order has already occupied it for some time. Not only that, but it is rumored that their leader is arriving ― the newly appointed Supreme Leader Kylo Ren! With nowhere else to go, the Resistance sets up a secret base and now must face the challenge of recruiting new members to their cause while simultaneously hiding from the enemy. In the midst of all the chaos, both the Resistance and the First Order are soon to find out that the inhabitants of Batuu have their own agenda in this war... Will this be a fun, light-hearted show with lots of shenanigans involving the good guys and bad guys clashing together? YES. Will the bad guys get moments of humanization? AFFIRMATIVE. Will Kylo Ren finally get to talk to his mom?? OF COURSE. Will there be romantic tension between Rey and Kylo Ren??? DUH. Will this show be 100% canon-compliant???? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!!!! So yes I'm bringing back Phasma and DJ :P So there's my pitch! Haha I know something like this could never happen and DLF would never hire me to work on a show for them... unless 👀

Supreme Leader Hux (NSFW)

days have passed since the battle at crait, and since kylo ren has now become supreme leader of the first order. the position of commander has been left vacant, and you were promoted. your stomach jolted with butterflies, the power excited you but terrified you. of course, there was one thing that made you the most anxious.
general armitage hux.
you had always looked up to the general and gave him the utmost respect. hours after the battle, you had a meeting with him. he spoke quickly and impatiently about the new supreme leader. you could tell he wanted the spot to be his.
that night, you went to your quarters and moaned the general’s name. you wanted him to take his anger out on you. all the passion that remains inside him for the order, you wanted to relight that spark with him inside you.
the next day, you made you move. hesitant, you opened the general’s office door. he quickly looked up at you, sighing, and then looking down at the papers on the desk.
“commander (y/l/n)... i don’t remember requesting your presence.” he says, not looking up at you
“you didn’t… i just wanted to speak to you about something…” you say, voice shaking slightly.
he looks up at you, eyes staring into your soul. “what exactly?”
your hand was still on the doorknob. you turn your back to him and close the door, locking it. the general is out of his chair and stands a few feet from you. confusion runs across his features.
“what do you think you’re doing (y/n)?” he demands
you walk closer to him, putting a hand on his shoulder. “armitage… i've known you for a while now, i can tell you’re angry… you’re losing hope in the order you love, because you wanted to be supreme leader.”
his muscles tense under your hand, jaw clenching at the mention of the title. you lean in close, hot breath on his neck and whisper in his ear, “you should have that title sir.”
you back away and stare at him. a blush coats his cheeks, his pupils are wide and he takes a breath, like he’d been holding air since you walked into the room. “what are you suggesting?” he says quietly
you look him down, smirking. “take your anger out on me general…”
he smirks and bites his lip, turning to his desk. he pushes everything off of it with a crash. you begin to unbutton your uniform. he then throws himself into his chair, slipping off his belt and unbuckling his trousers.
“get over here. now.” he orders
you smirk and saunter over. you shake your hips as you walk. as you climb on his desk, you see his erect member already pink with desire. you lick your lips and slip off your top, then reach back and unhook your bra.
the general has his hand wrapped around his cock, jerking furiously as he watches you strip before him. he moans when your breasts come free of their restraint, jerking faster. you reach down and slip off your boots and pants. you then put your legs on the desk, spreading them open to reveal the wet spot in your panties.
the general removes his hand from his cock and stands up, leaning over you. his member pressing onto your stomach, he grips your face with one hand and hip with the other, leaning in to passionately kiss your lips.
moaning into his mouth, the general slips his tongue in between your lips. you battle with him, both of you letting out moans every so often. the hand on your face moves to your neck, gripping roughly.
you pull away from the kiss and gasp. hux’s eyes have clouded over with lust. you moan as the grip on your neck becomes rougher, face heating up due to lack of oxygen.
he then takes his hand off your neck, and you gasp for oxygen. he smirks and licks his lips. “you liked that didn’t you?”
you nod quickly, not taking your eyes off of him. you’re desperate for him to touch you, your clit aching with need. his hands trail across your body before setting at your breasts. hux puts his head in between them, and takes a nipple into his mouth, grabbing the other in his strong grip.
you tilt your head back and moan. the contrast of the heat of his mouth against your cold and hard nipple makes it harden. he rolls his tongue around the bud, occasionally nipping at it with his teeth. he looks up at you and pulls off, clicking his tongue.
“why aren’t you looking at me?” he asks
you look down at him and he smirks, pinching your nipples. a moan escapes your lips. “much better commander.”
calling you that makes you buck up your hips. armitage looks down at them and shakes his head, sitting back down in his chair. “of course… how could i forget that cunt? i’m sure you’re so wet, aren’t you?”
you prop on your elbows and nod. he shakes his head, gripping the fabric in his hands. he wanks them down and you lift up your ass. he throws them across the room and spreads your legs. his mouth waters at the sight.
your swollen clit, and the scent of the wetness between your thighs makes his cock twitch. “keep your legs open for me.”
the general slips out of the rest of his uniform and underclothes. his body gleams with sweat, though the room is cold. you know you have him right where you wanted him. he needs you now, there’s no going back.
hux’s hand slaps down on your pussy and you moan loudly. he smirks as you buck your hips again. “you’re such a dirty little girl commander… who would have known you like to be abused like this?”
he slaps your cunt again and you gasp, jerking up into his palm. “turn around, let me see that pretty little ass that looks so good in your uniform.”
you quickly turn around, sitting on all fours. hux’s hands spread open your ass and cunt. you turn to look at him and a hand comes down hard on your ass. “eyes forward. good girls take things as they come.”
“yes general.” you whisper
“no. who am i, pet?” he growls at you
you think for a moment, then you realize what he’s asking for. “yes supreme leader.”
he moans at your words and stands up, teasing his cock against your folds. you tighten at the feeling, trying to pull him inside you. “be patient my good girl… i’m going to take my time with you.”
his hand trails down your stomach, to your aching clit. he begins to rub it, slowly at first, but then increasing speed and pressure.
you fall onto the desk and moan his name. he slaps your ass again and again, still stroking you. every so often, he dips his fingers into your heat, collecting your juices and rubbing them around you. without warning, he slips two fingers inside you.
you clench around him and he smirks. “you’re so desperate commander… do you want your supreme leader that badly?”
“yes sir! i want your cock so badly!” you moan
he smirks and pumps his digits inside you, then pulls them out. “turn around.”
you flip over on your back and watch him take his fingers in his mouth, licking up your juices. he sucks for a little then pulls them out of his mouth with a pop.
“you taste perfect…” he whispers
his cock is aching. you can tell that it’s feeling neglected. you sit up and climb off the desk, legs feeling like jelly. getting on your knees, you grasp the general’s cock. you pump it a few times before taking his entire length into your mouth.
hux tilts his head back and moans, entangling his hands in your hair. you look up at him through your eyelashes, running your tongue along the tip, sucking up the precum. hux growls and forces your head down his member. you gag in surprise, but quickly recover. he bucks his hips, as he fucks your face, your nose buried in the red hair at the base of his cock.
you reach up and play with his balls. hux gasps and growls, fucking face faster and harder. drool drips down your chin as you try and collect as much air as you can through your nose. you massage his balls and he pulls you off his cock, picking you up and lying you on the desk again.
“you don’t get to decide when i cum.” he says.
he grips your face again and opens your mouth, bending down and spitting on your face. you stick your tongue out and gather what you could, swallowing it down.
“you’re mine now.” he growls
“i’m all yours, supreme leader.” you whisper, voice hoarse from the throat fucking you recieved
hux chuckles and spreads your legs as wide as they will go, he grabs his cock, running it over your clit. you jolt up to him and he glares at you, shaking his head. then without warning, he enters your sex.
you gasp and grab your breasts, pinching your nipples. armitage can’t take his eyes off of you, as he sinks inside you.
“you’re doing so well pet… taking me well. you like my cock?” he mutters, sinking all the way inside you.
you squeeze around his length and moan. “y-yes sir…”
he moans and buries his face in your neck, peppering wet kisses over your skin, nipping and sucking occasionally. he then being to pump in and out of you, going slow at first. he kisses your collarbone and thrusts faster, moaning against your skin as you squeeze around him.
he thrusts faster, the desk begins to shake and shift under you. your eyes roll in the back of your head and you moan as he pounds your g-spot. he picks his head up and takes one hand from your legs, to rub your clit. he pinches it and massages it.
you’re a sweaty, moaning mess. you gasp, “s-sir i-i’m gonna…”
“you’ll cum when i tell you pet… hold it in a little longer…” he moans and throws his head back.
he puts the hand not on your clit on the desk next to you, and thrusts into you at an accelerated but sloppy pace. you can tell he’s getting close to his climax.
“who am i (y/n)!?” he yells through a moan.
“m-my supreme l-leader sir!” you gasp
“that’s right! cum for me commander!” he yells
one final thrust and you’re pushed over the edge. you squeeze around hux’s length as you climax and he moans, pumping his seed into you.
both of you are panting messes. he pulls out of you and cum drips down your thighs. you sit up and he throws himself in his chair, smirking as he looks at you.
“clean yourself up. i may want you again later…” he says, slipping on his clothes and walking out of his office.

Obinara: The Dark Season
A story for @jedimasterbailey, and anyone who likes a little Obinara in their life :) Though it’s not a Christmas story, I’d like to think of it as a present for Bailey and fellow Star Wars fans :)
Master Kenobi sneezed while he took the shuttle discreetly to the meeting place on Byss. That cold he had from the battle of Crait would hang over him for a while. He steered down to the colony through the clouds and the orange haze of the setting sun. The port was near a nondescript tundra in a secret city of colonists who sought to escape the war. He was set to meet Jedi Master Luminara Unduli at a small cafe in a very quiet sector of the colony. The shuttle landed and no one paid any attention as he walked from the ship, though he had proper papers for meeting with the 42nd shock troops division. He observed how most colonists and clones wore masks, punctuating the crisis they faced on this world.
He had received a warning from Luminara on an emergency frequency. "Our troops are being struck down" she called out from her base "A strange virus, code named the Dark Season" she informed him. Something about her expressions created a sense of foreboding, and he had to fly to Byss quickly.
Luminara waited in a crude fortress structure outside the colony. She meditated after being informed of a visiting Jedi. Calm though she was, her thoughts dwelt on an anxiety, and sadness closed within her heart. They might lose the entire system to the Separatists. And there was something much worse. Lumi was hiding a terrible anxiety for her padawan. Barriss was also on Byss, working tirelessly in the medical tents with the wounded, struggling to hold back this mysterious plague that was striking down their soldiers. She constantly risked exposure, but never waivered in her duty to the soldiers and her Master.
Luminara sat in a chair by a window overlooking the plains of Byss. She pondered the fate of her family in a galaxy preoccupied by war. Pondered the consequences if they were defeated by this virus on Byss. How many more good people would die if she didn't find a solution? Time was running out and she felt tremendous pressure on her shoulders.
"It's good to see you again" Obi-wan smiled as he sat down next to her, waking her from deep thoughts. She was surprised to see him, holding her breath for a moment. Even though they were to meet, the war had kept them apart for a long time.
Luminara was quiet as she started out with official business "There are reports of a skirmish on the sixth planet. The Council feels-"
"-How are you?" he asked. She almost smiled but stared ahead silently for a few seconds. "I hope you had a chance to see the sunset after landing. Byss is not always a pleasant place, but it has some beauty when you time it right" he caressed her cheek. She hesitated, feeling a little embarrassed. She could sense his hunger, longing for her embrace. Obi-wan gazed at her soft face, remembering that night. It was all he could think about after her dire message. It had been two months since that first time, that night they were.....together. It was a terrible battle on Kamino, and both of them helped repel a droid fleet of minisubs, almost drowning and freezing in the storm swept ocean. Taking refuge in an abandoned and wrecked part of Tipoca city that night, the two realized they would succumb to hypothermia and ice cold waters that drenched them if they did not find a way to generate heat under a warm blanket. Their night together was one of survival that turned into fiery passion to love life......They worshiped with kisses and frantic forbidden animal rituals upon a beautifully carnal altar, bodies intertwined, loud lustful prayers to the Heavens and souls that became one in the Force in a different kind of storm....
But that is another story for later time.
"Duty is a curse" she replied.
"That it is." he agreed
"A good sunset is rare on Byss, but I did see it." She looked at him, feeling a fire in her heart "It is the winter season here at this stage of its orbit. Surviving and living becomes a challenge for these few months. There is something else..." It was back to official business of the war. Obi-wan could tell by her expression it was serious.
"You said something about the Dark season" he whispered.
"It is a disease, maybe a virus. It causes a progressive memory loss. The early stages cause the subject to have confusion, long term memories fade. Many of our troops have been exposed to the Dark Season. Most are in the confusion stages and are having difficulties with their duties! If we cannot find a way to stop it, the disease will progress...."
"How bad?"
"The infected will fall into a coma. Their brains will cease to function. They will be empty shells, breathing like automations, but without life." she sighed with a little despair.
"Dooku's latest plot, and it's ironic since he's never accepted the clones as living beings!" Kenobi controlled his now stern voice. But his shock at this new scheme horrified him. His thoughts were interrupted by another sneeze.
"You have a cold?" Luminara reacted with surprise.
"My illness is paltry compared to what our troops may be going through. If we don't stop it, Every living being on the planet will be at risk. Byss will fall to the droids who can withstand our ailments."
They exited the fortress and went to the medical facility on the base. She showed him first hand the scope of the Dark Season. Obi-wan furled his brow as he observed the different stages of the Clone patients under quarantine. Many were placed in large rooms for observation, but seemed very calm and rational.
But as they moved further into the facility, the quarantined rooms that they observed from the labs disturbed him more and more. The clones with progressively worse conditions were isolated in smaller cells. Some had progressed into a vegetable state, staring at the glass separating them from the Jedi. Others had become irrational and violent, paranoid of their surroundings.
"As a healer, I can do much to alleviate physical wounds and pain" Luminara sighed "But this new virus.....it is beyond my comprehension. And it's very contagious. It has spread amongst nearly the entire Defense Force. Byss will be vulnerable to the Separatists in a matter of days, if not hours."
Obi-wan and Luminara made their way to the lab where she continued to work. They examined microbes and tested various antibiotics under microscopes to find a way to counter the mysterious affliction that was causing the memory loss in the Clone army. Other medical technicians were working at their stations, including several Kaminoans while the Jedi also tried to break the secret of the virus.
"Have you been able to take time to work with Barriss?" he asked.
Luminara looked up at him blankly. "Who?" she had a surprised look in her eyes. They stared at each other. Lumi realized she had slipped, giving away another secret.
"Your Padawan?" Obi-wan suddenly felt very uncomfortable.
Luminara went back to her research awkwardly. He went over and put his arms around her. Luminara reached for some index cards by her station to examine. Obi-wan held his breath with terrible realization as he read names on the cards. One of the cards read 'Barriss is your student', 'Gree is the Clone Commander', 'Obi is -' He grabbed the cards and read them. Luminara stared away in silence.
"How long have you been infected?" he asked.
Luminara hesitated "I know you, don't I?" she turned to face him and could see the distress in his eyes. Her face sank, having tried to keep up a facade for a man who she forgot because of her exposure. It was sheer discipline that has kept her going to solve the mystery of the virus that was slowing eating their minds away. She felt her heart jump and rave in his presence, so she at least knew he was someone important to her.
"Yes" he whispered. The entire lab worked around them, but they felt alone together. Obi-wan felt helpless for almost a minute. Then he held her tight for a split second and went back to work, doubling his efforts. The Dark Season was about to claim his beloved....
Gree entered the lab with haste. "General Unduli, General Kenobi! We've been given an update by our intel network."
The Jedi followed him to the tactical chamber. Obi-wan sneezed again, whispering a small curse at the distraction. His mind was focused on other things, and a cold was only slowing him down. Gree pulled up a coded message by one of their agents, Lieutenant Manny. Manny was part of Baron Papanoida's spy network to watch over several sectors of the outer rim.
"Go ahead, Commander" Luminara hesitated.
"There is an invasion fleet at the edge of the system" Gree looked over a datapad "We’ve detected the droids beyond the last buoy in our security. They will be landing in a matter of hours"
"How many?" Luminara felt a new wave of weariness over her.
"They have a Federation battleship with support ships, no doubt there will come a flood of transports with hordes of clankers. Without this blasted virus, we might hold them off while reinforcements arrive.....but at our current strength, the boys will be confused, panicked, disorganized and fatigued. I can't keep them disciplined so long as this condition continues to weaken them!"
Obi-wan sighed for a second. Then sneezed again. "Gah", he grabbed a tissue to wipe his nose "Last time I go on a recon to Crait!"
"Our troops will not be in any condition to fight. The Dark Season will sweep across the front lines before the Separatists even land." Luminara went back to her microscope.
"What does the Dark Season feel like?" Obi-wan asked "I seem to be perfectly fine. If this virus is spreading so fast, why am I unaffected?"
Luminara looked at him curiously "That is a good question. You have no confusion, no memory loss?" He shook his head. She examined his eyes and made him open his mouth "Hmmm, you don't seem to be developing any of the symptoms. Very strange. Everyone here has some degree-"
Kenobi sneezed, turning away from her as he grabbed another tissue. "Sorry. I'm making a mess with all these tissues."
"No!" she took the wrinkled up tissue from him "It....may be a clue!" She began to examine his DNA under the scanners and microscopes in the lab. It took a while, minutes felt like hours, but she became more energetic and enlightened "I think I know why!" She gave him a big smile "Your cold has given you immunity! Somehow, your time on Crait has strengthened your body, not weakened it!"
Obi-wan smiled as they embraced, but then he looked at her with trepidation "We need to make a syrum for all the troops, but we don't have enough time!"
"First thing's first" Luminara "I'll need an immediate sample to work with. We can draw some of your blood and start reproducing the virus. It might reverse the effects on our soldiers!"
They both almost danced a little celebration after one of the techs quickly took several samples of his blood to prep for possible vaccines. Even a little hope was better than none at all. "How do we know this will even work?" he asked.
"I need you to infect someone" Luminara smiled a little bigger. She grabbed him and they kissed intensely! They embraced with excited hearts, lost in a moment that they longed for while the entire medical staff watched in silence. Gree tried to clear his throat, embarrassed.
She pulled away from him gently. She was stoic, but he could sense she was, in fact, filled with joy. "It was the fastest way to be sure. Your cold will be coursing through me, and should counter the other virus." So sure she was that this handsome, sweet man she did not recognized had carried the solution within him she went fast to work.
It wasn't long before Gree received a communication on his comlink "Commander! We're getting reports of a Separatist transport landing nearby! They're coming in very close! Should we attack?"
"No" Obi-wan had an idea "I'm going to meet them, buy us some time. If we can get this cure to the troops, maybe we can push them off the planet!" he rushed out while Master Unduli and the medics worked fast to bring a serum to the soldiers. Luminara called for a squad of medic droids to work fast at reproducing the new formula. She felt a little dizzy, and could not tell if it was Obi-wan's cold affecting her......or his smile.
Dr. Vindi and Wat Tambor landed their shuttle and casually sipped an expensive wine as their troops marched from their holdings. Large, tank like vehicles strolled out onto the field and released large swarms of droids that lined up into formation while droidekas flanked the main body. The leaders sat comfortably on a floating barge, his Chariot above the world, decadent with their riches as they anticipated an easy victory.
"It is a fine day, the weather is cool but acceptable" Wat adjusted a nob on his chestplate "I anticipate your secret weapon has all but disabled the riff raff protecting this world!"
Dr. Vindi smiled, tasting victory in the sweetness of his drink "The Republic's troops should be a confused, panicked mass by now! We will roll over them and take the system! Not even the Jedi can stop a virus from spreading!"
One of the droid patrols flies towards the landing zone where Wat and Vindi casually discussed amateur strategy. "My Lord!" the bot panicked "There is a lone intruder walking towards us!"
"One lone intruder? Out in the open?" Wat Tambor shrugged "Should I be so afraid of one Clone?"
"If it were a clone, it wouldn't be worth reporting" The Droid waved its arms in explanation "But I have reason to believe we are about to be visited by a Jedi!"
The two of them stepped back in shock, but Vindi gave a chuckle "The virus will have decimated his mind. We could use this opportunity to our advantage....before we eliminate the Jedi!"
The Jedi wandered up to them, acting harmless "Good sir! I am in need of assistance! There's an army not too far from here....and I think they are a bit scary! Would you kindly bring your killer droids to cleanse the planet? Oh please?"
"What?" Wat asked, confused "You want us to....invade?"
Obi-wan put on his best terrified face "Those troops in the white armor....I don't know who they are! They are scaring the inhabitants of this planet! Please....could you march your army of darkness at the Clones and cover all the lands in darkness?"
Wat looked at Dr. Vindi, somewhat annoyed "Your memory virus worked too well, it would seem" he pressed a button, commanding his troops on the ground to advance. "Fine, we shall take this planet, and....*liberate* you of your concerns." The Separatist commander
Vindi stared at the Jedi for a moment, not sure if he should be overjoyed at the success of his scheme or if the Jedi was merely made crazy by his illness. They marched as more ships landed, heading for the GAR base. The ranks of the droid troops began to swell and march forward. Ever onward, they followed Kenobi to the facility. An open field lay bare before them.
"No troops" Wat looked around "They have fled in their madness! The airships are also gone! The air field is empty!" he signaled from his pleasure barge to march forward.
Vindi looked at the Jedi "It must be discouraging for you to not remember anything, to not have any ability with your pathetic mind wiped! Shame. You might have been a worthy opponent if you were not reduced to a meek little insect by my virus!"
Obi-wan turned to him, suddenly smiling, not so meek as he had first appeared. "But being a Jedi Knight was not my true strength...."
Luminara gave a signal as the droids crossed into the open. She lit up her light sabre and smiled at her clever Obi-wan. Hundreds of Clone troops suddenly appeared from their hiding places, and a dozen LAAT gunships arched over from a hill. Wat Tambor and Dr. Vindi froze, realizing that their plan had somehow failed.
"Impossible!" Vindi shrieked "My virus was full proof! They should all be in comas by now!! HOW??"
"I do not believe in mere Jedi powers. I believe in Love..." Obi-wan attacked with his saber. The clones open fired, catching the clankers by surprise! The gunships blasted and strafed from above as they cut through large swaths of ranks and troops.
Luminara marched out with swift strides towards Wat Tambor's gold plated, floating chariot "You are invading Republic territory! You will lay down your arms and surrender!"
"You're bluffing, Jedi! There IS no cure for the virus!" Wat Tambor tried to intimidate her. But Luminara blazed a stare into him that made his mechanical parts rust with fear. Her stride towards Tambor and the clankers got faster.
Gree waved his arm, giving a signal "Alpha Mike Foxtrot!" The Gunships launched their missiles at the approaching droid tanks and transports. Gree waited before signalling the charge "Adios, Mother F-"
The deafening explosions wrecked the advance of the Separatist army. Obi-wan started slicing up droids as Luminara joined him. Wat Tambor frantically tried to steer his hover craft away, jerking it so suddenly that Dr. Vindi fell to the soft grass. Gree ordered the men to charge, and while the Clone Troops were not at full strength in their recovery from the virus, their surprise attack sent the droids into disarray.
Vindi crawled through the battlefield as droids were blasted around him, and explosions deafened his senses. He broke into a run through some trees, saved only by his white lab smock that deterred any attention from the Republic troops. He was a white blur, and most of the clones figured him for a trooper in the fog of battle. He made his way through a light forest until he saw some buildings in a clearing. A small village nearby, a small settlement outside the base.
Obi-wan jumped onto Wat Tambor's hover craft. Wat pulled out his personal ceremonial weapon, a spear of strange blue metal. Though he had some skill in the melee, he was clearly inexperienced as the Jedi knocked the weapon away and kicked him to the ground. "Your days of terror are at an end!" he announced to the Separatist commander.
Luminara swiped past a dozen guards to stand by him, still not able to recognize him yet though she was thrilled to be by his side "There wasn't enough time to spread the cure, but the med techs are going as fast as they can!"
"If we can push them back here and now, we will gain time!" he said with a new vigor. They were a spike, driving through the shattered droid ranks, with Gree and the troops marching behind them. The air support smashed through the center line of droid tanks.
"I think we took them by surprise!" Obi-wan smiled at her "They already retreating!"
Luminara received a signal from her comlink. A young girl she did not recognize appeared "Master! I hear sounds of combat and explosions! Are you okay?" Luminara's mind had not fully recovered and she hesitated to see this girl
"This is a military transmission, young lady. You need to get to safety!" Barriss was very exhausted from being up for over 24 hours tending to wounded, but had been quick enough to realize the virus was having an effect on her Master. Before Barriss could respond, however, she is hit on the head by someone behind her and the transmission ends. Luminara gets a fuzzy feeling something terrible has happened
The droids fell back in chaos, some scrambling to board the transports to escape. Gree made sure they got blasted as they tried to lift off. Obi-wan yanked Wat Tambor by the collar and threw him at some guards "Haul this trash away. The Chancellor will decide what to do with you!"
"I saw a man in a lab coat with him!" Luminara tried to search the battlefield "Did he get away?"
"It was Dr. Vindi, a mad scientist!" Obi-wan looked around, then got a bad feeling "Something's wrong....I sense....Come with me!" they started to run across the battlefield.
"Oh no!" Luminara also sensed it. Her connection as a parent was giving off a warning within "The settlement! The girl!!"
They reached the small village. Some Clone troopers were also entering the village in a scramble, patrolling for any droids. They ran to a small medical facility. Some of the staff were working around groups of children. One of the doctors came up to them.
"Commander Unduli! We heard explosions in the distance! Are we under attack?"
"Have you seen any Separatist sympathizers? The CIS tried to invade, but they are being pushed back!" Obi-wan looked around, among the children.
They heard a child scream in the back of the building, and several nurses calling for help. The Jedi ran towards the shouting, and arrived in time to see Dr. Vindi flying away with Barriss unconscious in his arms in his clutches as a droid hover craft lifted him to safety.
"We thought he was from the base! He took Barriss as a hostage!" One of the staff gasped in horror while getting the colonists to safety!
Vindi smiled as he flew out of range of the trooper's blasters, holding the Padawan without realizing he just caught a Jedi.
Kenobi balled his free hand into a fist, Luminara's shock only lasted half a second. But both of them had felt the urgency. Dr. Vindi had taken their baby.
"Come on!" Obi-wan turned to her "We haven't a moment to lose!"
"Gree, I'm putting you in charge of the clan up!" Luminara called out on her comlink. Though she had not realized it in this emergency, Obi-wan took note that his lovely Lumi was beginning to remember people's names.
"What's happening? Where are you going?" Gree hesitated. They were victorious, but there was no order from High command to chase the retreat.
"We are going to pursue the enemy, Commander!" She replied. She rushed to a nearby garage and grabbed a speeder bike. Obi-wan could barely keep up with her! She activated the engine and took off, trying to use her senses to reach out and find Barriss. Vindi cleared the forest past retreating droids. His entire vanguard to the invasion had been smashed and the only option was to escape!
Barriss stirred, opening her eyes and realizing this cad was holding her while riding the with the droid. With quick thinking, she performed what would normally be a classic Mirialan dance move, but it surprised Vindi. Her pirouette knocked him off the droid vehicle, causing both of them to fall to the ground.
Barriss and Vindi rolled into the soft grass. The droid on its hover transport turned around to try to retrieve Vindi and blast her. Barriss braced for the strafing run, but the droid was suddenly obliterated as Luminara tore away from the woods and fired. Luminara, still dazed by the effects of Obi-wan's virus battling her virus, showed a smile and pride as Barriss held out her hand and pressed Vindi into the grass to prevent his escape.
Obi-wan caught up with them on his own speeder bike and also smirked, relieved that Barriss was ok.
"Well done, Barriss" Luminara beamed "You caught the villain behind the Dark season virus!"
"Yes, excellent work!" Obi-wan chimed in, almost like a proud father.
Barriss looked at them and sort of smiled, then tilted her head in confusion "Thank you, sir and madam....I uhh....do I know you?" Barriss looked quite tired and fatigued from her efforts in the medical tent and exposure to the virus that almost surely would have wiped out everyone on Byss.
Luminara sneezed. She and Obi-wan smiled at each other, and knew everything was going to be all right by the end of the day.

world building cause twn doesn't part 7: the first northern war
this is actually the part that made me want to start this series! but a wise idiot told me that none of it would make any sense without a bit of exposition. well, 6 parts later, let's go!
colour code cause i fucking love colour codes - already happened/introduced, probably s2, important background info, stuff that might be in the prequel, extras
masterpost
background
this war takes place entirely in ciri's timeline in twn, which is actually one of the most logical thing the showrunner's did
basically, nilfgaard is BIG into expanding and conquering new territories, cause sapkowski was actually kind of a comrade
in 1263, emhyr var emreis, the emperor of nilfgaard, turned his focus north, to the lovely kingdom of cintra. since nilfgaard already controlled all areas south of cintra, it was not at all difficult for them to get there
Tumblr media
you probably remember this angular looking gentleman as cahir mawr dyffryn aep ceallach, a nilfgaardian vicovarian officer. he is SUPER important for twn, so here's what you need to know:
cahir's family is incredibly well established, even though they aren't "real" nilfgaardians. cahir's great aunt is even one of emhyr's favourite mages.
he is also a Lot younger than the show made him, like i think he's maybe 18, but he could be as young as 16. this is a literal child, but a very smart child, so emhyr tasked him specifically with capturing the cintrian princess, cirilla, and bringing her back to nilfgaard
invasion of cintra
Tumblr media Tumblr media
the red line on the left is the nilfgaardian army's path from alba to the marnadal stairs, the only pass from the south to cintra. they were led by menno coehoorn, but we don't see him in twn (yet! he is super important for a ton of major battles).
the cintran army, led by queen calanthe and her bisexual trophy husband eist tuirseach, was waiting for them at the red star on the map on the right. unfortunately, eist was shot through the eye and killed, only a small group of survivors were able to escape
this group, including calanthe herself, were able to make it back to the capital (shown by the red line on the right) and warn the others that nilfgaard was coming
but, since calanthe had sent all her soldiers to the marnadal pass, there was no one left to defend the city and basically everyone was either killed or imprisoned, with queen calanthe committing suicide
pro tip: if a woman in the witcher makes a big mistake, such as leaving your capital entirely open to attack, and then commits suicide after having an emotional moment with her chosen daughter, something big is about to happen
BUT... princess cirilla fiona elen riannon, lion cub of cintra, heiress to inis ard skellig and inis an skellig, carrier of the hen ichaer, and all around badass, managed to escape with a small escort *whoah!*
by some weird coincidence (or destiny??), this escort ran right into cahir and his group. a scuffle ensued, with the only survivors being cahir and ciri
now, cahir's plan was already a little off the rails, so he just grabbed a terrified and screeching ciri and started running. lucky for him, she fainted pretty quickly
cahir disguised himself and (still unconscious) ciri with mud and shit and tried to join a refugee group, but he felt that this was too risky and decided to take ciri and book it (again)
when ciri woke up, cahir tried to calm her down, but since they didn't speak the same language this was pretty unsuccessful. like, imagine being 10 year old child and waking up covered in dirt with some random slightly-older-child speaking gibberish.
eventually, they both fell asleep, but ciri was able to run while cahir was sleeping. cahir moped back to nilfgaard, and was imprisoned for a year due to his spectacular performance.
obviously, this is very different from the show, but i need everyone to know how perfect my SON is
sodden
obviously, cintra was a massive victory for emhyr (aside from the missing heir to the kingdom he conquered).
next, coehoorn and his armies marched (red line) to upper sodden (red star) and had another huge victory. they were planning on conquering lower sodden (for some reason it's geographically north of upper sodden?), and therefore all areas south of the yaruga
Tumblr media
BUT... temeria, redania, kaedwen, aedirn and a shit ton of other allies, including 22 mages, were ready to fight at sodden hill (blue star)
of the people we've met in the witcher, a huge chunk of them were at sodden. seriously. yennefer, triss, vilgefortz, foltest, sabrina, tissaia, yarpen zigrin, and crach an craite were all fighting for the north
despite nilfgaard's huge winning streak, manpower, money, and superior weaponry, the north won both the battle and the war
aftermath
emhyr was not happy. at all. he didn't throw menno coehoorn in prison, but he did put him in time out in cintra
this also gave emhyr a pretty hefty vengeance against mages, especially yennefer, triss, sabrina, philippa, and enid.

Spot Conlon — Kylo Ren
Medda Larkin — General Leia Organa
Todd Kloppman — Luke Skywalker
Bryan Denton — Han Solo
So, since this is specifically a request for Javid, this is mostly going to be focused on their relationship, but if you guys would like to read more about other characters or read a scene from any of this, just shoot me an ask (also, sorry I’m so behind on these asks. My brain has been going through a lot) and I will get to it as soon as I can!
Anyways…
On the desert planet of Jakku, Resistance pilot Jack Kelly is in search of a lost map leading to the disappeared Jedi, Todd Kloppman. Jack Kelly is the fastest pilot in the resistance.
While searching Jakku and finding a piece of the map to the missing Jedi, the planet is raided by First Order Stormtroopers. People are slaughtered easily and Jack tries to escape in his ship, only to be shot down and barely escape with minor injuries. He gives the map he found to his droid, an NY unit. NY-99.
The droid escapes. Jack isn’t so lucky.
Though he puts up a brave fight, even shooting with his blaster at Sidus Vis (yes I made that up), a very dangerous member of the Dark Side of the force, and while not known throughout the galaxy as a Sith, is skilled with a saber and with the force. As Jack shoots at him, Vis stops his blast in mid air and uses the force to trap the pilot until the stormtroopers can seize him and cuff him, forcibly dragging him onto the ship before Vis knocks him out completely and takes him to a Star Killer above the planet to interrogate him.
Meanwhile, a Stormtrooper out on his first mission makes a decision that could prove fatal to him. Down in Jakku as he watches the death and destruction around him and watches a pilot get captured to be tortured, he finds himself not understanding why he’s even holding a blaster at innocent people. He doesn’t shoot at all. Not even when they heard all of the villagers into the center of their army and were ordered to leave no living souls. He lowers his blaster.
Later, back on board the star destroyer, the Stormtrooper, DV-0511, is told to turn in his blaster for inspection. He knows he’ll be put back in training. The thing is, DV-0511 doesn’t want to live this life. And he knows of someone on board who just might be able and willing to help him.
On the other side of the ship, Jack is being brutally tortured. Throughout all of the pain he faces, he refuses to give up the location of the resistance or the new hiding place of the map to Todd Kloppman. That is, until Sidus Vis takes over the interrogation. He uses the force to literally get inside Jack’s mind very excruciatingly and pull the information out of him, getting the make, model and location of Jack’s droid and the map.
After getting this information, Vis takes off his helmet and “thanks” Jack for his cooperation, to which Jack responds “Anytime, Spottie,” very bitterly after seeing the small, circle like burns on Vis’s cheek.
After Jack is left alone, told he’d be executed in the next few hours, a lone Stormtrooper comes in and unlocks Jack’s bindings, telling him that he was here to break him out, however as Jack is able to read people very well, he sees the desperation in the stormtrooper’s eyes and deduces that he’s trying to escape too and he needs a pilot. DV-0511 doesn’t deny this.
Jack is led at gunpoint by this stranger that he has to trust to a tie fighter. DV-0511 questions his flight skills to which Jack responds that he can fly anything. The hit a small bump in the road when they fight the tie fighter is feathered down, but they manage to get away anyway with the stormtrooper shooting at those who try to follow them. Jack asks for the other man’s name, to which he responds, DV-0511. Jack says he won’t be calling any man by a number and states that he’d call him Davey instead.
Davey says he would very much like that before trying to instruct Jack to get out of the system. When Jack responds that they’d be going back to Jakku to retrieve a map to Todd Kloppman, Davey loses focus and they get shot down, crash landing on Jakku.
Davey wakes up and tries to rush back to the crash. All he manages to save is Jack’s jacket.
Disheartened by losing the only potential friend he’d ever had, Davey keeps the jacket, stripping off his uniform and making his way to the nearest village where he meets a feisty scavenger named Anthony. Anthony attacks him and accuses him of stealing a jacket from the master of a droid that he’d befriended.
Davey is tasked with telling NY-99 that his master is dead, but lies to Anthony about being a member of the resistance and attempts to help him escape from a group of stormtroopers sent to get their hands on the droid. In the end, it’s Anthony who ends up helping Davey escape in a junkyard where they find a ship Anthony calls garbage and take off in it as a last resort.
After escaping, Davey gets NY-99 to tell Anthony where The Resistance base is to keep his cover and they make their way to that system, meeting several people along the way, including Bryan Denton, an idol of Anthony’s who reveals to him that the ship they’d stolen is the Manhattan, the fastest ship in the galaxy.
Denton eventually takes them to another planet where Davey finally works up the courage to tell Anthony the truth and begs the kid he’s become close to to run away with him, but Anthony says he can’t.
Before Davey can leave the planet, losing track of Anthony and Denton and everyone else, the planet is attacked by the First Order and a lightsaber is shoved into his hands. He’s called a traitor, nearly killed before he’s saved by a pilot flying overhead who’s the fastest and most skilled pilot Davey has ever witnessed.
He sees Anthony get kidnapped and begs Denton to help him save the boy, so they are taken back to the Resistance base. There, Davey is greeted by a very familiar, cocky and healed up pilot, Jack Kelly, who rushes to him, pulls him into a hug and realizes that Davey looks amazing in his jacket that he thought he lost in the wreck.
Jack explains that he woke up in the sand, unable to see the ship or Davey and he found his way back here. He apologizes for leaving Davey behind and tells him it was a shame he lost such a pretty face. After Davey recovers from his flustered state, he asks Jack for help.
Jack and Miss Medda help devise a plan to save Anthony who ends up almost saving himself. Anthony and Davey find that Sidus Vis’s name is actually Sean and that he’s Denton’s son. And Sean kills his father right then and there, when he sees him.
And it kills him inside.
Anthony and Sidus Vis end up out on StarKiller Base, fighting with lightsabers and though Davey tries to help, he ends up getting hurt and Anthony has to knock Sean out and drag Davey back to the Manhattan.
Jack is leading a fleet trying to destroy StarKiller base before it gains enough energy to destroy the Resistance.
The Resistance flees and Jack rushes back to Davey who he has become attached to. He stays with him as he rests while Anthony goes off to Todd Kloppman and asks him to train him in the ways of the force.
Not long after these events occur, General Larkin leads the resistance in fleeing, as imperial ships are coming to wipe the last of them out. Jack, who is jumpy and aching to be placed in charge of something, leads a costly attack against the resistance against Medda’s orders. This attack does end well, but it gets Jack put under the watchful eye of another leader of The Resistance, though Jack insisted he be allowed to get in a ship and blow something up.
Eventually, Medda grants him permission, running low on fuel and options, to blow something up, though by that point it’s too late and they are being attacked. The First Order blows up a part of the ship, killing nearly every leader on board and nearly killing Medda who only barely manages to save herself with the force. Jack is horrified by this as he’s very close to Medda and he helps get her to safety before he rushes to Davey, who is still recovering a bit.
Jack hesitantly sends Davey out with Katherine, a mechanic, on a mission to disable the tracker Jack knows is being used to track them through jumps. Jack has to sneak them out as the standing general seems to have alternative motives for getting them to safety and seems to see other people as disposable.
After Davey and Katherine leave, Jack attempts to lead a mutiny, only ending up getting stunned and held prisoner by Medda herself who tells him he’s not quite ready to be a leader yet.
Davey and Katherine manage to get captured while attempting to complete their mission only to later escape and meet what’s left of the resistance back on the planet Crait where there’s an abandoned base, but the quickly get cornered and Katherine attempts to attack, leading Jack and Davey to follow on speeders and buy them some time. Katherine ends up getting hurt trying to keep Davey from getting himself killed and he and Jack manage to save her and take her back to safety where the fleet realizes they have to run.
They try to find some kind of exit only to be met with Anthony, who clears a path for them and helps them escape.
A while after these events occur, Jack and Davey are out on a mission where the Manhattan gets fairly damaged and Anthony, or as Jack has come to call him, “Racer”, is not happy with this in the least, but at the first sight of NY-99, who stayed behind with Anthony, the two hotheads break out into a fight that Davey has to break up and Race makes fun of Davey angrily for how he loves to put his hand on Jack’s chest to calm him down.
After they all calm down, Anthony eventually finds that they need to depart on another mission to Pasaana. (I don’t know these movies as well as I know the originals so they won’t be quite as detailed). According to the now deceased Todd Kloppman’s notes, a wayfinder can lead them to the location of Emperor Snyder, who has somehow managed to survive. They go to find this wayfinder, but Spot, as they’ve all begun calling him, creates a connection with Anthony to find his location and comes to hunt him down.
With the help of an old friend of Denton’s, Race, Jack and Davey manage to escape, finding a clue to the location of the wayfinder after they all get sucked down into quicksand. Jack falls first and he manages to catch Davey and then Race. Jack is determined to be the leader but is continuously outshined by Race who finds that he can use the force to heal a monster they find in the cave they get trapped in for a moment.
When they try to make their way back to The Manhattan, a First Order Fleet attacks and captures Denton’s old friend and Sidus Vis and Race get into a battle, trying to use the force to stop the ship that’s flying away with him. The ship explodes when Anthony accidentally shoots a lightning bolt from his hand.
After all of this, the group discovers that the dagger they found has an ancient language that they need translated. Jack sighs and admits that he knows where to go. Realizing they don’t know much about Jack’s past, Race and Davey find that Jack used to be a spice runner and Jack gets very defensive when they start to ask questions. He ends up finding them a droidsmith to help reset one of their droid's memories so it can read the message out to them. Since the message was written out in an ancient Sith language, the droid was forbidden from translating it.
After they translate the message, Race senses that Denton’s old friend is still alive and Davey and Jack get captured trying to save him. When they are taken for execution, Jack asks what Davey had been trying to tell Race earlier. Davey starts arguing with him and asking if this is the best time and Jack rolls his eyes, asking him if he was supposed to wait till later and they start bickering as the General behind them raises a gun to their heads, eventually prompting Davey to give into his own urges and kiss Jack passionately, believing that they were both going to die, only for the general to kill the stormtroopers behind them and admit that he was the spy they’d been in contact with for months now.
Now that they’re both very confused and flustered, Jack and Davey run back to escape on The Manhattan and don’t say a word about what happened, eventually getting back to Race.
Race goes to get the wayfinder from the Endor system, on the remains of the Second Death Star while Davey and Jack fly back to base only to find that General Larkin is committing a dying act, trying to reach out to her stepson and adopted son, Sean, who became Sidus Vis years ago.
It’s after she dies that someone reveals to Jack that he is to be the next leader of the resistance. Though, as soon as he hears this, Jack finds himself panicking a bit until Davey touches his shoulder and asks him what he wants to do. Jack asks for his help. He couldn’t lead the resistance alone and he trusts Davey more than anyone in the Galaxy.
So Jack and Davey lead the resistance together and go to find Race who sends them coordinates to his location. They send out a message to as many people as they can, asking them for help and support, as much help as they can get, and they go to end the war. During this battle, it becomes increasingly clear that they’re fighting a losing battle until several ships from all over the Galaxy appear to help them.
Davey nearly gets himself killed trying to take out a ship from on top of it. He jumps from his own ship to try and take it out and nearly gets left behind. Jack tries to save him but is beaten to it by Denton’s old friend (TBD, I don’t know who Lando would be, yet).
And the Resistance wins the battle, going back to base to celebrate.
After learning that Race survived and everything that happened all Jack and Davey and Race can do is hug each other and celebrate the fact that we won until Davey asks Jack if they’re ever gonna talk about that kiss.
Jack just suggests they do it again.
Anyway, there is my very, very rough draft of a Javid Star Wars story. I am so willing to write any scenes from this that any of you guys would like to see, just let me know!

first line meme
@quolant tagged me in this - thanks!
rules: list the first lines of your last 20 stories. see if there are any patterns. then tag your favorite authors.
I did a version of this earlier in the year, but I am THRILLED that “last 20 stories” now only takes me back to the very end of 2019, thanks to TOG fandom, so let’s have it!
1. the purpose of art : One of the first things Joe does after getting laid off is cancel his gym membership.
2. Awakenings : Roughly five years after the new dreams began, Joe finds himself in front of a pleasant-looking rowhouse in Philadelphia.
3. face it all together : Nicky takes comfort in simple pleasures.
4. a day like today : Nicolò shakes him out of a fathoms-deep sleep to announce, incomprehensibly, "Venice! They're in Venice!"
5. the space where things have been : Joe gasps awake in a pile of smoldering debris, every inch of his body searing like it's on fire.
6. writing's on the wall : One of Andy's earliest memories is of waking up in the middle of the night—she can't remember what woke her; some sound perhaps, or just a dream—and creeping out of bed to find her mother in the tiny living room of their dingy flat, shrugging into her black raincoat.
7. you may have my number : Later, Joe will say it all started when he shot Nicky in Istanbul.
8. you know my name : "Don't let the double-ohs bully, browbeat, or seduce you into giving them special privileges," Copley did warn her, once, just after Quỳnh accepted the role of Quartermaster.
9. The Pride Pact : The first time Nicky hears anything about Joe is at work, of course.
10. Gravitational Pull : "So we’re definitely gonna blow up the Death Star, right?” Nile says, an unholy gleam in her eyes.
11. lessons exquisitely crafted : When Yusuf turns up on his sister’s doorstep almost a year after the fall of Jerusalem, she screams, slaps him across the face hard enough to bruise, and then bursts into tears.
12. The Last Ferry to Calais : Spring came reluctantly to England in the year 1895.
13. Travellers from an Antique Land : It’s Booker who takes her aside, in her first evening with the full team.
14. We’ll Show Them All : The latest attempt to find Raven a Drift-compatible copilot ends, as predicted, in disappointment.
15. though it was not my task to watch : In retrospect, Joe thinks it must have started in Merrick’s lab.
16. When It Alteration Finds : Poe is nine years old when his mark first appears.
17. life is very long : After the better part of an admittedly uneventful week in Madrid, waiting for one of Booker’s old contacts to get back to them with details on a potential job, Nile drags them all out to Plaza de Chueca one night in the spirit of team bonding.
18. Are We the Waiting : Years later, that frantic, awful time between the destruction of Starkiller base and the escape from Crait will blur together in Poe’s recollection into one long nightmare of exhaustion, terror, anger, and helplessness.
19. The Tesseract’s Wife : Maria has never been able to pronounce the name of the Skrull refugees’ new homeworld.
20. what a way to make a livin’ : It’s generally not advisable to allow Erik Lehnsherr access to the morning news before his second cup of coffee.
Patterns? No idea. My first sentences are usually either short and to the point or long and rambling. I think they all succeed in setting a scene fairly quickly, at least. (Tangentially, one of my fave comments I’ve received on a fic was for you may have my number, where someone remarked that they were  shocked when Joe shot Nicky in Istanbul...which is literally revealed in the first line of the fic. That genuinely pleased me, because it meant they were absorbed enough in the story to have totally forgotten that by the time it actually occurs.)
Tagging anyone who wants to play along! I always feel weirdly self-conscious about tagging folks.

Um hello, sorry if this is a bit weird but I just found out my old doctor died and I'm only now realising how much of an idol he was for me, I'm actually on the verge of crying. Could you maybe write something with Poe where his partner's going through something similar? I understand if you don't write it, it's super specific. Thank you anyway 💕
Come here.
Of course I can! I'm sorry to here about your loss. I'll try my best with this, and I'll try not to go of course.
Pairing: Poe Dameron x Force sensitive Reader.
Wordcount: 484
Warnings: Mentions of death. Reader isn't a jedi but is force sensitive.

When you felt Luke Skywalkers presence fade away whilst boarding the millennium falcon, you knew that was it. Both Leia and Rey felt it. Luke had been your idol for many years, one of the only Jedi's in the galaxy of what you knew for many years. You learned of the fact that he blew up a death star using the force, and helped win the first war against the imperials. You had met Luke a few times thanks to Leia, being assistant to the General meant that you got to meet many important people including Luke.
Poe seemed to notice something was off when your breath stuttered and your eyes glazed over. You walked away and hid yourself in a small compartment in the falcon. He quickly spoke to Leia and went to find you. Walking round the ship quickly, he found you sitting on the floor with your knees to your chest.
"Honey? What's wrong?" Poe asked quietly sitting next to you,
"He's gone." You replied nuzzling into his neck.
"Who is sweet?" Poe asked again wrapping his arm around you,
"Luke. He's gone." You spoke voice cracking slightly. Poe knew how much you idolised Luke, even he idolised Luke for his flying skills.
"Oh sweetheart, it's alright. Come here." Poe said pulling you fully into his lap,
Poe rocked you back and forth a little, rubbing your back gently.
"You know you don't have to hold it in. You can cry if you want to honey." He continued. That's when he felt the tears drop onto his shirt and seep through to his chest. Poe continued to rock you slightly, until he heard your sniffles die down a little bit.
"I felt him leave Poe." You whispered,
"What?" He asked stroking your hair back.
"His life force. I felt it go when he went. He didn't feel pained, felt more at peace than anything." You replied relaxing more against his chest,
"Well at least he wasn't in pain. And he helped us baby, you got to see your idol in action didn't you?" Poe said letting his head gently hit the wall. The two of you were exhausted from the days events, everyone was exhausted mentally and physically.
The day started off with an intense evacuation, every bomber the resistance had were gone, Poe was demoted and the order tracked the resistance through hyperspace. And no one. No one came to help at the battle of crait. So when you felt Lukes presence fade away after escaping on the falcon, that was it for you. You had to let a few tears flow, and you were glad you had Poe next to you to comfort you.
Eventually, the two of you fell asleep in the same position and in the same compartment. Poe could tell you didn't want to be around many people right now, and he was alright with that.

A Normal Date
Pairing - Rey x Reader
Summary - Between trying to recruit other systems to the Resistance cause, fighting a War with the First Order, and Rey’s new Jedi training, the two of you hadn’t had time for normal things like a date. You’re determined to change that.
Word Count - 2,043
Warnings - None!
“So we’re actually doing this?”
“We are one hundred percent doing this.” You replied, a large grin on your face as you tugged Rey down the street by her hand.
She still didn’t seem to believe it. “There’s no mission? Nothing that we’ve been sent here for that I don’t know about?” She asked you.
You pulled her to a stop, turning so you could look at her. “Not that I know of. Unless you know something.” You said, raising your eyebrows at her in suspicion.
The both of you stared at each other for a moment with intense looks on your faces. Then you both started laughing. You couldn’t help but smile at the sound. Rey was so stressed all the time with learning how to be a Jedi, and attempting to save the world, you cherished every moment that you were able to make her laugh or smile. She had earned it. Your look turned fond as she gave you her own smile, giving your hand a squeeze. “A normal date then?”
“A normal date.” You agreed, as the two of you began walking again. “I was thinking we could go to the local cantina, and then maybe sit out by the water for a while, and then I could fly us out back to base in time for your training in the morning.”
“That sounds wonderful.” She said, her dimpled smile never fading as the two of you made your way into the local cantina.
It wasn’t often that the two of you got to do something as simple as sit and talk. Rey was always busy working on Jedi business, and you were always busy working on various X-Wings and recruiting on other planets. Time didn’t often overlap for the two of you, and you had to take every opportunity you got, not wanting to waste a second you could have been spending with her.
From the moment you had met after the Battle of Crait, you had been impressed by her. You had been one of the Resistance members fighting off the First Order when you had seen the Millenium Falcon drawing the fire away from your speeders. Even then you remember thinking how amazing that pilot and gunner were.
After that you were introduced to Rey. From the moment you met her, you knew she was someone amazing, even if she didn’t always sense it herself. It had been easy for the two of you to bond. She loved hearing about all the different places that you had traveled, and you loved hearing all of her tales about how she had survived on Tatooine. Then the conversations got deeper and more intimate, and next thing you knew, the two of you were sharing kisses and holding each other while you watched the stars.
But the two of you had never been on a real date before. You hadn’t had the time. Ever since the Battle of Crait, Finn, Poe and you had been in a constant state of travel to different planets while Rey had been busy Jedi training with General Leia. It was exhausting trying to make time together with your different schedules, and you had enough. You had gone to the General, and with as much respect as you could, asked for a few hours alone with your girlfriend. It seemed as if she understood, and here the two of you were, walking hand in hand to an empty table.
“What do you want to drink?” You asked her as she slid into the booth first.
“Surprise me,” she replied, shrugging her shoulders.
You nodded, and made your way to the bar where an irritated looking Arcona took your order and began making your drinks. You turned around, giving Rey a soft smile as she waited for you, when a conversation nearby grabbed your attention.
“How do you know it’s the First Order?” a man was saying to another.
“You think I don’t recognize a tie when I see it?” He answered, offended.
“Well what do you reckon they’re doing all the way out here?” The first man asked, his words, though he didn’t know it, stopping your blood cold.
“What else is the First Order always doing? Looking for Resistance members.”
Without taking the drinks that the Arcona had almost thrown down in front of you, you threw some credits on the table and hurried back to Rey. “We’ve got to get out of here.”
Her eyebrows furrowed together as she looked at you. “Why?”
“We may be having -” Before you could even finish your sentence, a pair of StormTroopers burst through the doors. “Shit.” You slid into the booth beside Rey as fast as you could as you took your scarf from around your neck and fashioned it over Rey’s head to cover most of her face.
“They know what you look like too!” Rey hissed, trying to stop your hands, but you shoved her efforts away.
“Yes, but I’m not the one who’s been in their Supreme Leader’s head multiple times.” You adjusted it one more time to make sure it was covering as much of her face as it could while still remaining natural. “If they recognize you, how long until Ren’ll be here?”
Rey groaned.
“You should really stop capturing people’s hearts you know. I mean I believe I’m handling it well, but others -”
“I’m not trying to capture anyone’s -!”
She sounded so offended you couldn’t help but smirk at her, grabbing a hold of her hand, and giving it a squeeze. “I know.” You said, giving her hand a quick kiss. “Let’s get out of here all right?”
She nodded and the two of you slid out of the booth, your hands tight in each other’s grip. You tried not to focus too much on the Troopers who were making their presence well known at this point, stopping person after person in the Cantina and checking their appearance. Someone must have tipped them off, but there was no telling who. You knew there had to be a nice price on Rey’s head, and there was no telling what was on yours. You didn’t intend to find out. After all, your mentor had taught you a few tricks you had up your sleeves.
The tightened squeeze on your hand alerted you back to Rey who was watching an approaching StormTrooper warily. There would be no way to avoid him without suspicion. You hand reached into your pocket, gripping the weapon of choice, but it seemed as if Rey had other ideas.
As the Trooper stepped right in front of you, her free hand swept up, waving in front of the Trooper’s face in a smooth motion. “We’re not the Resistance Members you’re looking for.” She spoke in a calm voice.
“You’re not the Resistance Members we’re looking for.” He repeated, sounding the slightest bit confused by his statement.
“They left earlier in the day.” She added on, the confidence in her voice growing. “You just missed them.”
“We just missed them!” The Trooper said, sounding annoyed with himself.
“We’ll be on our way now.” Rey said, pulling you forward.
“On your way, Citizens.” The Trooper said, gesturing his arm ahead of the both of you to move you along.
Rey’s grip on you tightened as she pulled your stunned self behind her. “When did you learn how to do that?!” You almost hissed at her in disbelief.
“Um, the first time Kylo kidnapped me.” Rey answered, glancing around for more Troopers before the two of you stepped out onto the street.
“And you haven’t used it since?!” You asked in shock.
“Well I wasn’t sure how -” She didn’t get to finish her sentence. For the two of you turned a corner and almost ran headfirst into another Trooper.
You glanced over at Rey, waiting for her to do her Jedi-mind-thing whatever it was, but she didn’t get the chance. “Hey! I know you two!” The Trooper shouted, reaching for his blaster.
Unfortunately for him, you were much faster. You spun yours out from your waist and stunned the trooper straight through the chest. “Run!” You called to Rey, and she didn’t need to be told twice.
Within seconds the two of you were running through the town as fast as you could, but it turned out more StormTroopers were in town than you had thought. The farther away you got, the more seemed to be following you, firing from their blasters left and right. It was only a matter of time until one of them hit you, or worse, Rey, and their blasters weren’t set to stun like yours.
Your opening came a few moments later. Startling Rey, you took a sudden turn, tugging her back against your body and covering her mouth because you knew she would have something to say. “I’ve got a plan,” you whispered in her ear, trying to ignore how good she smelled and how nice it was to have her pressed against you.
She didn’t seem to mind, nodding and pressing against you even more as you heard the StormTroopers come to a stop. You dropped your hand from her mouth and slid it down to her hip, clutching at her as you heard the StormTroopers decide to split up since they didn’t notice which direction you had gone.
“What’s your plan?” Rey hissed as you both heard at least two StormTroopers approaching your hiding place.
Truth was, you didn’t have much of one, so you said the first thing that came to your mind. “Um, a distraction?”
Even though you couldn’t see Rey’s eyes, you could almost sense them narrowing as if she already knew that was the extent of your plan. “What kind of distraction?” She hissed as the footsteps came even closer. She backed up against you once more, trying to keep both of you pressed even closer against the wall, and in the process, she knocked against the bag you had slung low on your hips.
It was at that moment that you remembered what you had put in that bag, in case of a situation such as this. After all, you could never be too careful. You reached inside, grabbing the orbs and tightening your grip on them. “This kind.” You smirked at her as you popped out from your hiding spot, in full view of the Troopers. “Hey guys! See if you can hit this!” You yelled, activating the bombs and throwing them towards some carts that they were standing near.
To your slight surprise, it worked like a charm, the bomb sending articles of wood and fruit flying while you grabbed Rey’s hand and escaped in the smoke. To your amazement, you didn’t run into any more trouble, and the two of you snuck off on your borrowed ship from Lando before the First Order even had a clue.
Once the two of you were safe in hyperspace, you couldn’t help but frown. All you had wanted to do was spend some time with Rey where neither of you had to worry about the War going on all around you, but it seemed like that would be impossible until all this was over. Was it even worth trying to continue something right now?
That was when the best sound distracted you, Rey’s laughter filling up the cabin like music.
You turned to look at her, disbelief on your face that she was laughing, to find her doubled over and clutching her stomach, her laughter shaking her whole body. When she noticed you were looking at her, she struggled to stop her laughter so she could speak. “Did you - did you see the look on their faces when you threw that at them?”
Raising your eyebrows at her, you shook your head. “No, because they’re StormTroopers . . . They were wearing helmets.”
Rey waved your words away, “I know, I know, but . . . I could just tell.”
It was impossible to stop a smile from forming when she looked so beautiful and happy. She noticed your staring and you didn’t miss the faint flush that fell on her cheeks as you reached for her hand again, taking it in your own.
Maybe this date hadn’t been such a disaster after all.

"And what happens if the shield falls?" Triss asked, roaming around the room with her arms crossed, carefully studying you up and down.
"The shield won't fall unless I do" you spoke with confidence, dead set on doing everything in your power to keep the castle, Ciri and everyone else involved, safe.
"Then, no" Geralt commanded, pushing himself off the wall, "No way we're doing it this way"
"It's already settled" you countered, knowing that was the only way you could help. Even as one of the most powerful sorceress the Continent has ever seen, with elven blood running through your veins, in combat, you were still a weak link. You needed space, and safety to recover your stamina, so standing on top of an isolated tower and casting spells from there was the best option.
"Nothing's settled" Geralt huffed, "There's no telling how long the fight will last or how strong their army will be, you can't keep that shield up on your own"
"I can" you said with confidence, "And I will"
With that you stormed off. After years of going through this on again off again wannabe relationship, Geralt knew better than to bug you when you clearly wanted to be left alone. The night was done, yet he decided he'd get a head start of the roof work that was scheduled for the next morning, as something about your attitude was obviously making him rather uncomfortable. You stood in front of your bedroom window, projecting his image on the glass in front of you. Dangerously close to the edge, he made his way tile by tile across the roof, and despite noticeably giving his best, he failed at giving the structure the stability it needed. You chuckled, a silent sigh also escaping your lips - you wished he was inside the castle, in the same room as you - yet your pride didn't let you admit it, even to yourself. His raspy grunt reached your ears, and it wasn't from your projection - he had realized on his own that he did a piss poor job, and shouldn't have even tried to being with. Seeing as he would soon be making his way inside, you killed the spell and moved to your bed.
When Geralt passed through the door, you looked up from a book you had just opened, "Nice of you to finally join me"
"Y/n" he sighed, unbuttoning his black shirt and sliding it off his shoulders, "I-"
"Yes, yes" you cut him off, "You're mad at me, but to be completely honest with you-"
"I'm not mad!" he yelled, voice all hoarse, proving his words wrong. He walked to the foot of the bed and leaned on one of his legs, "I'm not mad" he corrected himself, this time on a much more reasonable tone, "It's just that I get the feeling this is a sacrifice"
"If it means it will keep Ciri alive and far away from The Wild Hunt, then call it whatever you want"
"You love her, don't you?" he asked, for the first time in days, avoiding your stare. However, he did it for you. He knew how much it would take for you to admit such a thing, even to him. He kept looking away, willingly giving you the upper hand and allowing you to believe you were strong enough to face him. After all these years, you still came first, no matter what.
"Geralt-" you sighed, the pain in the pit of your stomach making your voice sound weaker, "I-"
"Decades ago-" he cut you off, "When we first met, everyone said you were power driven and ruthless, when all you wanted was a child. All this time-" he said, shaking his head in disbelief, "I thought you gave that up"
"I never give up" you said, clearing your throat. Tears were coating your eyes, but no matter how much a weakness sign you considered it, you didn't turn away, "Let alone on a child. Especially Ciri"
"Y/n" Geralt said softly, grabbing your elbow, "We can still find other ways"
Not at him, but you were angry. The situation, and especially the wait, the calm before the storm, were driving you crazy, and with controlling your emotions, you never had a good history. "I don't care who comes, however many mages they may have, how big their army is or how revolutionary their weapons are, if they can do it, so can I. I'm not gonna grab a sword and try my luck, or cast spells in the middle of the field, it's a sure way for me to die. I will do everything I can to keep this castle and everyone inside it safe, and no one can stop me"
With that you walked past him, and opened the door, "Now come, Lambert and Eskel promised us some extravagant Toussaint wine and they're waiting downstairs"
Geralt followed you without fighting back this time. You were all expecting to have at least two days until the fight, so whether he did actually give up and accepted the fact that you were going to have your way, or if he just decided to post pone the argument, was above you, and to be fair, at that hour, you didn't even care. You all drank, and had a good time, well, as good as the times allowed. There was a strange atmosphere in the air, giving the impression that you all sat down to make sure no one would be taken away without a proper goodbye. None of you would have admitted it, but you were all thinking it. Crach an craite turned out to be the soul of the gathering, Dijkstra's never ending stories seemed much more appealing after a few glasses of wine, and at about 5am, almost everyone was back in their rooms, sleeping or making up for lost time.
Earlier that evening, you had no intention of joining the others in drinking, you wanted Geralt all to yourself but after the talk you had, you needed some space. However, the alcohol washed out the bad taste his words left in your mouth, and now, as you two found yourselves all alone in your shared bedroom, your initial intentions were starting to show again. He welcomed your lips against his with longing desire, holding onto your waist harder than you would have normally accepted. Your weight was as none in his hold, and he carried you effortlessly to bed, laying you down gently before climbing on top of you. His muscular body towered over your fragile frame, and as always, having him wrapped around your finger aroused you to no end. There wasn't time to waste on foreplay, even if you were sure he enjoyed it as much you did. Geralt lewdly hurried to explore the skin your black leather attire showed, dragging his lips along your collarbones, before biting down into your shoulder, for the sole purpose of hearing your moans.
"Geralt" you sighed, grabbing the sides of his face so you could look into his eyes.
His teeth sank deeper, making your cry out his name again.
You felt his chuckle tickle the skin at the base of you neck, just before he looked up, "You're so beautiful" he said in awe.
Wanting to keep your composure, you controlled your facial expression, but your cheeks still reddened. The smile that materialized onto his lips proved that he knew exactly what kind of effect he had on you. When your lips connected, it felt more electrifying than ever. Unlike times before, you allowed him to take full control. Geralt didn't question it at all, but you knew he sensed something.
Everytime it was you on top of him, riding his cock into the depths of the night as his longing stare burned your skin. It was always you the one who pushed his buttons and never allowed him to finish whenever he needed. You always had to push him, even just the tiniest bit. You rarely ever did what he asked you without making him beg for it. You saw him on his knees in front of you, calling your name in what was probably the most needy tone he was capable of. The sight of him squirming under you, with his eyes squeezed shut, head thrown back, fists clenched and thighs convulsing, was your favourite of them all. However tonight it was quite the opposite. He had you on all fours, crying out his name. He kissed away the tears of pleasure that ran down your temple, and smiled proudly when you, for the first time begged him to let you finish. Three times. That night was all about what he wanted; he loved you in all the right ways, sending you on pleasure spirals with every chance he got. After ruining the sheets while he went down on you, lapping away at your core, you clenched your thighs on each side of his head in some pathetic attempt to control yourself. With a smirk, Geralt's lips moved from your clit to the skin of your left inner thigh, leaving inflamed purple marks all over your warm skin. When it came to the second orgasm, he had you panting on all fours as he clutched a fistful of your hair into his hand, pulling your head back. His lips treated the your shoulders and neck in all the right ways as he pounded deeply into you from behind. Your moans decorated the night, and it ended with another round, this one slower and more passionate than anything before. He was laying on top of you, moving every so gently against your now sensitive body. When his lips weren't longingly loving yours, his cheek was pressed against yours, his breath fanning onto your ear.
After that, after you both came down from the heights of pleasure he worked so hard for, you just collapsed into each other, and tried to get some sleep, "I love you, Y/n" Geralt said, right before dozing off.
"And I love you" you answered, with deep honesty.
You would have never admitted it to him, but as you both laid in bed, you realised this sudden change of character was coming from your hidden fear of not ever seeing him again after the battle that was to come. As he feel alseep with his face tucked deeply into your neck, you knew he was thinking just the same. Your mind didn't allow you to rest without taking a quick peek at his thoughts, and the taste of blood engulfed your senses as you bit your lower lip in order to stop yourself from crying. A small cottage, quite poor and mostly empty, with a strong fire lighting up the main room was what you saw first. Then you saw yourself. And him. Snuggled into each other in a dark corner, sleeping, and with definetly less worried looks on your faces than you had now. You couldn't pull away from his thoughts just yet, you kept watching as Ciri with Vesemir came moments later. The four of you sat down at a table, eating ridiculously festive food. Geralt's left hand was on your thigh, and when he kissed you, even if it was just a dream, he imagined you tasted like garlic. That thought alone watered your eyes. Back when you two had just met, in unknown circumstances, you mentioned to him that you couldn't expect people to take you seriously if you smelled like garlic, despite it being one of your biggest pleasures. At that time, he laughed it off, kissed your lips and with a shake of his head, continued the conversation. Never again had you two talked about this, or had you eaten garlic, yet this was on his mind right now. Damn him. You didn't want to die. You lived a long life and achieved more than most people could even dream of, but for Geralt and Ciri, you wanted to live.
-
You stormed down the stairs of the castle, screaming at the top of your lungs, "They're coming! Everyone wake up!"
In a matter of seconds everyone rushed downstairs, strapping their swords and getting ready for a fight you were most likely destined to lose. Ciri's life was at stake, and none of you was willing to back down. Previously, you had pondered, and came up with the best defence strategy.
"Remember," you said, facing each of your allies in turn "Aldair albeeh mirva. Anything happens and you need help, chant this"
Shortly after revising the plan, everyone went to their spots, waiting for the attack, while you rushed to the tower. Knowing the Wild Hunt wouldn't come rushing towards you from a distance, you counted on a locating spell, that even though couldn't pin point their exact location, was able to let you know how close they were. When crystals of ice appeared in the air around you and you were able to see your breath due to the drop in temperature, you put up the first shield. This was the easy part, keeping the frost away. Now, you gathered all your power, and worked on locking a second shield, one that was designed to force the armies to come in in waves, giving your people time to fight them off without getting surrounded.
Struggling with this task, there wasn't anything more that you could do. It was draining your powers at an alarming rate, but you were dead set on keeping the shields up until you could no more. The fight went on for almost two exhausting hours, there was no way for you to know if everyone was alright and no way to stop and check. Everything around you was a blur, the sound of the fight going on below you was muffled as you concentrated every inch in your body to make sure your defence wasn't cracking. Despite being all in, body and soul, you still heard it.
"Aldair albeeh mirva"
Fuck. It was Eskel's voice. As you tried to figure out his exact location, you heard it again.
"Aldair albeeh mirva"
And again. And again and again. Muffled. Unclear, and screamed by different voices. Triss, Keira, Dijkstra, Geralt. They were all losing their battles.
-
"Um, Geralt?" Lambert huffed as the two of them fought side by side, "Is Y/n ok?"
"Why?" Geralt called with exasperation, turning to his fellow witcher, "What happened?"
"Look around you, man" he wailed, pointing to the sky, "The force shield is down. We're surrounded"
They retracted to a more isolated corner, speaking to each other just above a whisper, "We called for her, she knows what she's doing!" Geralt said and despite not showing much emotion, he said it more to convince himself than his friend.
"Brother, she didn't answer" Lambert spoke dramatically, breathing heavily. Silence settled as he didn't want to say anything more, afraid he'd set Geralt off. He was too late. In a fit of manic rage, Geralt sprung forward, rushing straight into the battle.
"Cover my back" he yelled over his shoulder, "I'm heading to the tower"
Eskel sighed knowing how bad of an idea it was, but after shaking his head, he drew his sword, ready to jump back into the action. They were surrounded, casting signs after signs, their stamina running out and muscles starting to cave. With every passing moment and with each of the wild hunt's knights killed, they were closer and closer to caving. Their blows weren't as precise anymore, not as strong, and nowhere near efficient enough to keep up with the enemy's army. Following a heavy blow into the small of his back, Geralt fell to the ground, sword slipping out of his hand and landing meters away. Before he managed to regain his composure, Eskel threw himself on top of him, and generated a shield, held in place by the sign of Quen, strong enough to keep them alive for just about 30 more short seconds. Each blow received weakened their defence, and once Eskel couldn't hold the shield anymore, it exploded with a blast, throwing the knights and their hounds just a few steps behind. It was no where near enough. All this stunt did was buy them about a minute more, as before they knew it, their throats were surrounded by countless of sharp sword tips. Incapable of feeling emotions, Geralt's eyes still watered, Ciri's and Y/n's faces being the only thing on his mind. Realizing there was no way out, he gritted his teeth, and the last thing he saw before he closed his eyes were the merciless fangs of a ghostly hound, jumping towards his jugular at full speed.
Then nothing.
Nothing happened. Nothing bit him. No blade pierced his body, and filled with confusion, he creaked his eyes open only for his jaw to drop. The hundreds of fighters that were surrounding them were now hanging in the air, slowly rising to the sky.
"What the fuck-" Eskel muttered, turning from side to side.
Geralt paid no attention to him, and in the distance, between the floating bodies of his enemies, he spotted Y/n, high up in the air. With her head thrown back and arms raised horizontally, she levitated about 10 meters above the sea of still warm corpses. Her fingers moved slowly within a ball of purple gas. Geralt was too far away to see, but her veins pumped rage and chaos forming little sparks of fire all around her frame - her lifting the soldiers off the battlefield being just the beginning. Looking to the side, it wasn't hard for him to spot his allies.
Keira was in a trance, on top of the castle's wall. Before Geralt got a chance to rush to her, Triss came running, ushering everyone inside, "Shelter, now!!" she screamed, voice cracking.
"Y/n?" Dijkstra who had just joined them asked.
"Yes" approved Geralt, "And Keira. We can't leave them"
Triss was in no way in the mood for their antics, "She's gonna burn them to ashes and we're gonna fucking die too if we don't move! And now!"
Somewhat relieved, Geralt, along with every other still standing member of their group, ran into the castle. "Are we even safe here? And Keira?" he asked.
After catching her breath, Triss looked at everyone in turn and explained, "Keira is keeping the frost away so y/n's spell won't be as difficult to cast. And yes.." she sighed, "We're safe here, y/n will redirect the flames upwards"
He didn't like this. Not one freaking bit. Rushing to the window, he saw y/n now fully surrounded by that violet gas. Every piece of glass in the castle was trembling, the floor shaking as bits of cement and stone were falling from each of the corners of the room. He wanted to object but he knew going out there was not an option. After a few difficult breaths, everything before his eyes went white. Everyone was thrown off their feet as a loud explosion pushed them meters back, all slamming into the walls behind them. Nothing was audible except for a loud plain ringing deep inside his ears. Geralt found himself literally paralyzed for what he thought were a few seconds, but as soon as he found himself able to stand, he rushed outside. It was now way past dusk, meaning he'd been out for at least a few hours. Once again, and harder this time, panic enveloped him tightly.
Outside, grass was no more. The walls were black with ashes, with Keira standing in front of them, her back towards the castle.
Geralt stepped over burnt corpses, making his way to her. As the sorceress heard him approach, she turned to him, face white and a few too many layers of unshed tears covering her eyes.
He opened his mouth to speak, but she beat him to it. "She's gone"
-
Heavily bleeding, your feet trembled one in front of the other, carrying your weight the last thousand of feet before reaching the nearest location you could only hope was safe. Around you, laid a deserted village at the foot of the Baarg mountain. At this point you couldn't afford being wrong, so you trusted your gut and walked through a gap in a fence, circled around the cemetery, and followed a path that led you to an empty cave. You sighed with relief, and felt a tear roll down your cheek as you pushed through the darkness, using the last bits of magic left in your body to light up a torch you found laying around. Tens of years ago, this cave used to belong to an elven mage, the only one in history to ever manage to control not only space, but also time. His legacy was so infamous and controversial, that his names was banned from use. This however, didn't stop tens of hopeful magic creatures from trying to learn his ways. It relieved you to no end to see that no one had actually reached this point. Having a story this famous; errors and fake facts were destined to be spread. If not for Geralt and his many connections, you wouldn't have known about this place either.
The entrance to the deeper levels of the cave was guarded by a pack of rock trolls, which took very little magical effort to convince to obey you.
"If any one comes looking for the elf's cave, this isn't the right one. If any one comes looking for me, I'm not here unless Geralt of Rivia asks. Geralt of Rivia, in flesh and bones, not anyone else"
“Trolly knows, this cave not good”, the creature groaned, "Geralt of Rivia good. Everyone else bad. Trolly likes not if you not Geralt are"
"Perfect" you sighed, and walked further into the cave. Seconds later, you had made it. All the knowledge you ever needed was inside there. Every potion, herb, recipe, crystal or spell book, everything was at arm's length. As soon as the door slammed behind you, you fell to your knees and crashed onto the floor. After 13 days of walking through dangerous unknown woods on the exact other side of the continent, you were happy to finally close your eyes within safety.

Chapter 3 (pt. 5)
His face went blank before growing more and more concerned.
Poe swallowed. He had a feeling he knew the answer from everything he had put together. He knew how long the weapon was around and the last time anyone had seen or heard from Kylo Ren.
"I- th-..." His eyes flickered back and forth searching for an answer. "C-Crait?"
"Shit." He mumbled, rubbing his hand over his face. "Kylo that... That was nine months ago."
He nearly heaved again. "H-how?"
"Breathe." He grabbed his shoulder as the man started gasping for breath.
Everything felt like it was spinning even worse than before. This couldn't be right. It couldn't. Dameron was trying to say something to him but the pounding in his ears drowned him out. He could feel tears streaming down his face, but he didn't care. A scream of frustration escaped his throat and only after he managed to take a few deep breaths did he realize Dameron had leaned away from him.
Poe waited a while for him to calm down. This is genuinely one of the most unnerving situations he had ever been in. He could handle the most stressful battles, but a crying and terrified enemy going through some intense PTSD was something else. His soldiers and friends? Yes. But this man? It didn't feel right... or maybe that was the issue. He should feel some sort of justification for having him in this state, but he didn't.
