A small masterpost of all my current Genshin Impact AUs

(Please, please, if you have any questions about these, want me to flesh something out/elaborate a little, or just wanna add your own two-cents, ask me! I'd be overjoyed to hear what other people think of these!)

(Papa Diluc & Traveler Tania AU)

During his Fatui-hunting travels, Diluc finds a young girl shivering in the snow, stars in her eyes and tales on her tongue of a kingdom long-dead going up in flames.

At first, Diluc takes her with out of love for the brother he had "lost". Later, he takes her in out of love for the little girl he had found.

Much, much later, when an unknown god appears before them and strikes, casting the daughter through space and the father through time, it's up to starry-eyed Tania to get her Papa back, come what may.

(Venti Has Hanahaki AU)

It is said that Hanahaki bloomed into being during the Archon War, even though the Archons did not know how it was created.

All anyone knew was that the only way to stop the flowers was "a love requited as it was given". Romantic love for romantic, familial for familial, platonic for platonic.

Little does everyone know, however, that one Archon does know the origins for Hanahaki. After all, Barbatos was the first to contract it.

(Suicidal Diluc AU)

When Diluc goes up to Starsnatch Cliff to jump, he's surprised to see someone already there. A teenaged assistant to Flora, by the name of Aster.

Diluc and Aster are both looking to end their lives, but neither want to see the other dead, so Aster suggests a solution: They meet up again, a week later, on the same day. If only one of them shows up, that person gets to jump. If they both show up, they both have to wait another week.

Diluc agrees.

(Reincarnated Istaroth AU)

Istaroth never expected to wake up again, much less in the body of a child.

Nevertheless, she's delighted to walk Teyvat once more, and her beloved son Barbatos is overjoyed seeing her again. She even met his dear paramour, Morax.

Even so... why was her body so battered when she first woke? Why does it look ever-so-slightly familiar? ...And who does she keep seeing, out of the corner of her eye?

Uhh sorry guys but I think Trikoto might be dead

I was looking through the milgram app and when talking about the production of double and deco 27 specifically mentioned there being two Mikotos. It’s not a mistranslation either, I looked into it and the original phrase is “ふたりのミコトは果たしてこのあとどうなってしまうのでしょうか” and “ふたりのミコト” directly translates to “two Mikoto”.

I understand that people may be bummed by this or saying that Mikoto’s story is playing into stereotypes because of this. But personally I have hope, as trial 2 showed that John wasn’t just an “evil alter” stereotype that much and has a much deeper and interesting character comparable to everything else. Although it’s a bit iffy that it was a bait and switch in the first place because there would still be people who’d take it face value. But personally as someone here said (I forgot who I’m sorry) “the best way to do an overused trope is to do it right” which could apply in this situation. I know there are mixed opinions here and personally I have hope but this is just my take on what is very likely the de-conformation of the trikoto theory.

Can’t believe Miles and Gwen are about to be the most well developed cbm romance of all time

#I think it’d be proper fucked up if she became Bloodwheel and/or was consumed by it. even if just for a little bit #robot rambles #I’m gonna call it: Bloodwheel starts off as a sequence of hallucinations before becoming a physical threat #I don’t think she’d do it on purpose either #I think she’s continuously cycling back to this personification of her most painful experience and that the Ink Machine works in cycles #there’s going to be an Imprint #I wonder if we’re going to be able to actually go through multiple changing loops in game this time. Loona – More specifically I could really cover the Loonaverse lore, but I think I can do a pretty good job giving the basics about their pre-debut project and their weird trajectory until they...ended. Well (technically) not really, since they still around strong making comebacks and debuts as units/solo artists in different companies and stuff.

MP100 – My sweet child. I'm no longer peak brainrot with it but I think I still could easily talk about how neat it is, how much i love it, the nitpicks i have with it, etc etc.

Random brazilian trivia? – I don’t think I would be able to talk about interesting specific traditions or anything, but I for sure more than once jumped at my non-brazilian friends to talk about the FUCKING weather here. So I can talk about that, how we celebrate some holidays, some foods we have and stuff like that I guess.

PreCure – Literally not sure what path my life would have taken if I didn't knew Precure. And there's a lot to talk about, it is a twenty year franchise so... BUT IRONICALLY EARLIER I TECHNICALLY FUMBLED THE BAG TALKING ABOUT IT, DIDNT TALK EVEN 5 MINUTES BUT ITS CAUSE I WAS CALLED IRL AND GOT BUSY. still kinda funny it happened while I was putting it on the list lmao the timing...I swear I can do it lol

2010's animes made to promote rhythm and dress-up arcade games – aka Pretty Series and Aikatsu. Honestly I could have put it together with Precure since they're all simillar animes for the same target audience, but I think those two idol(ish) franchises have a lot to cover in their rebrandings and stuff while precure is a lot more...coherent?!
