It’s finally done!!! This took less time than I thought but it still felt like a bit forever

Sorry to everyone who has no idea what tempus fugit is, it’s an rp in the rat hq tmc discord that I am going a bit insane about, where I play wild hunt au mark, who is the raven!

It uses a lot of animal metaphors so that’s what this is emulating, but I also gave them extra things like halos (?) and other things that are references to other metaphors, events in the story, or connect two characters

Also the space in the right bottom is for a character that doesn’t have a super specific metaphor just yet but it’s all good

Little easter eggs/explanations for the people who’ve read me going crazy:

- the wolf and the rabbit (fe!adam and fe!evelin) are the only ones with halos, which is because they are very intertwined characters and I like giving unique matching traits

- fe!adam’s halo is a whale, another metaphor that ties him to Jonah because of the Bible story of Jonah and the Whale, which is coming back to bite us rn

- fe!evelin has two halos, mostly because I couldn’t choose which one I liked better. The island is a known metaphor in the story, but the barbed wire is something I came up with to reference the sheepdog metaphor, as well as it just being fitting imo

- deer!adam has some extra metaphors of darkness and rot/mold, so I gave it some I guess like decay on its face? I’m prob gonna make a colored version and it will be more obvious then

- the sheep, og!sarah and og!jonah (left and right respectively) (they also might be mythic!sarah n jonah but I like saying og) are sewn together because they both died at the hands of fe!adam when he had the deer moment. They also have the same lamb metaphor because of that. Jonah has a flower in his mouth because of his flower things, but Sarah was only around briefly and didn’t get to develop many metaphors so sadly she has nothing

- the kitty is ks!adam, who I am very excited to see again when we get out of the fuckin mirror reality. He has a big notch in his ear because he was absolutely fucked up by fe!adam and I wanted to channel that. I also always thought of him as a white cat, which I think is interesting.

- raven wh!mark!!! My beloved!! My guy!!! I’m very happy with him because I’ve always had trouble drawing birds. He is holding a bell to reference the poem The Bells by Poe (who is already an influence on his character) because of its lines that have big banshee vibes, which is what wh!mark is! I need to talk about wild hunt au on here so bad wow. The bell also has a feather attached because I use feathers a lot to enhance the raven metaphor

- as I said earlier, the empty space is for ks!sarah, who I will probably give an object to match with mark further because they are both gonna be birds! Very excited to put that in but no pressure doli :]

 Et voilà ! On est en Juin... C'est à peine si on a vu passer le temps – ce tempus qui décidément, fugit de plus en plus irreparabile (je dis ça pour faire croire que j'ai des lettres latines au delà de ''a, b. et c'') : depuis janvier, on n'a même pas pu se retourner. Le temps d'avoir le temps de dire ''Bonne année''... et paf ! on était à Pâques... ou à la Trinité. Le temps, de nouveau, de dire ''Ouf'', et la Trinité s'est passée (Notons au passage, sans acrimonie, mais juste pour montrer qu'on n'est pas dupes de leurs ''Fake niouzes'', que ‘’Malbrouck’’ n'est toujours pas revenu, mironton, mirontaine... Il a dû s'évanouir en fumées, sous le nom, très anglicisé pour plaire à Macron, de Marlborough ! Tant pis pour lui : l'avait qu'à pas y aller !).

Jusque là, ça pouvait encore aller (car, en fait, ''Pour aller, ça va... mais c'est pour revenir...'' tout le monde sait ça !). Mais dans la foulée, poisson d'avril, on est entré en Mai sans se découvrir d'un fil... où on a enfin pu faire ce qui te plaît (NDLR : tout petit, je ne comprenais pas l'expression ''En Mai, fesses ce qu'il te plaît''. Depuis, j'ai compris que j'étais simplement très décalé avec les mœurs du temps !).  Mais ici, un arrêt-sur-image s'impose --c'est le cas de le dire : quand un citoyen français est en Mai, donc libre de faire ce qu'il lui plaît, savez-vous à quoi il passe son temps ? A remplir sa déclaration d'impôts, formules 2042, 2044, 2047, 2074, ''et quinquiès'' ! C'est-y pas beau, ça, Madame ? Qui a dit que les gaulois seraient indisciplinés ?

Mais quittons les charmes troubles de Bercy –qui, depuis que Le Maire y promène son regard vif de colin-froid-mayonnaise, se met à ressembler à un lupanar pour puceaux en plein enanisme-- pour revenir à notre sujet : on est en Juin, et ça, c'était pas prévu si tôt ! Juin, comme le disait un illustre maréchal (pas celui qui hante le mono-idéisme gauchi de notre primo-ministresse, non... un autre !), Juin, c'est le mois où arrive l'été : le 20 ou le 21 pour les marchands de calendriers des PTT, devenues PT avec l'usure du temps (toujours lui ! On le trouve partout !) --avant de découvrir un ''G'' salvateur, puisque faute avouée est à moitié pardonnée : GPT ! (NB : Chacun fait comme il veut !)  Pour les météorologues, l'été commencerait même le 1er Juin… en attendant,’’because’’ le réchauffement climatorisque, de se mettre bientôt à commencer le 1er  janvier, devenant ainsi circumcalendaire, voire circumdéambulatoire. En fait, chacun devrait être libre de faire ‘’ cir-cum...il veut’’’ !

 Il faut oser dire, haut et clair, que nous sommes en été, ce temps de notre cycle où Arthur Rimbaud  voyait que ''Les tilleuls sentent bons dans les belles soirées... L'air est parfois si doux qu'on ferme la paupière'' (ici, une notule plus médicale s'impose : c'est une preuve irréfutable qu'il avait le rhume des foins). Mais... foin des rhumes, revenons à Arthur : il écrivait ces mots dans ''Roman'', qui commence par ce vers mondialement connu par ceux qui le connaissent : ''On n'est pas sérieux, quand on a dix-sept ans''. Ah bon ? Mais alors... quand ? A 87 ans, peut-être, et au delà... ? Passons... Le poète vit dans un monde qui n'est pas le monde de tout le monde.

Le sujet du jour, comme le plat du même nom, c'est l'été ou, comme aurait pu dire Hamlet, à Elseneur : ''Etre, c'est avoir été''... On entre dans les trois plus beaux mois de l'année pour les embouteillages. Etre en Juin, ça veut dire frémir à la perspective de re-devenir enfin un acteur actif dans les stations service débordant de foules en tongs et en marcel...  L'été, c'est poireauter dix minutes coincé entre une grosse transpirante et un moustachu odorant devant l'étal du marchand de glaces pré-fondues... C'est essayer de rentrer dans l'eau sans prendre en pleine poire le matelas gonflé d'un mioche italien hurlant ''Maria ! Attenta il materassino !''. 

L'été, c'est devenu depuis peu le seul temps de l'année où on ne peut plus visiter aucun monument pour cause de ''sur-fréquentation'' (je vous recommande le Mont Saint Michel et l'esplanade du Louvre..)... et où il faut négocier son mètre-carré de sable avec 2 hollandaises, 3 angliches, 2 scandinaves (jusque là... ça peut aller !) mais aussi des chinois qui font des chinoiseries et Mao-ssent le ton, et des russes et des ukrainiens –qui ont l'air de ne pas bien s'entendre, on se demande pourquoi

Si on survit à tous ces loisirs, plaisirs, désirs et soupirs (j'allais ajouter cachemire zéphyr, autogyre et Aïd el-Kébir, pour la rime... mais c'est hors-sujet !), on peut espérer se retrouver entre amis autour d'un barbecue alcoolisé, pour évoquer les longues soirées si douces et les heures qui semblaient ne pas avoir de fin... dont se souviennent encore ceux des  ''les plus vulnérables d'entre nous'' qui ont réussi à survivre à toutes les mesures mortifères qu'on prenait pour qu'ils meurent seuls dans leur coin, sans personne qui leur tienne la main en murmurant ''je t'aime''...

Mais les temps ont bien changé, et il semblerait que l'été, ce bel interlude si ardemment attendu, soit devenu une saison comme les autres, où l'immigration hors-contrôle se poursuit dans une indifférence générale, où la planète se pollue comme d'hab', où des lois stupides, néfastes et ravageuses sont produites par des cuistres qui, ne contrôlant plus rien de ''ce qui est important'', n'ont plus que les sujets dits ''sociétaux'' pour faire croire qu'ils ont encore un pouvoir (qui n'est que celui d'emmerder leurs victimes, à l'image de ce qu’a ‘’envie de faire leur patron’’).

Seule bonne nouvelle, en ce premier jour d'un mois infiniment comme les autres : l'accélération du temps (qui est plus réelle que la responsabilité de l'homme dans le réchauffement climatique, que les gaz à effet de désert, et que la vicelarde urgence papndiayenne de saloper à jamais l'esprit des jeunes enfants) va nous jeter dans l'automne avant qu'on ait pleinement réalisé qu'on était en été... Préparez-vous : la rentrée des classes, c'est demain... là... tout de suite. Et avec elle, voilà les frimas, l'accès facilité aux sites qu'on n'a pas pu visiter cet été pour cause de trop plein de trop et de plein, et la tranquillité retrouvée de la fébrilité de la préparation des orgies des ''fautes de fin d'année''... Par chance, il nous reste nos vieux proverbes, ces fruits délicieux de la sagesse des Nations : ''S'il pleut le quinze juin, il n'y a pas de raisin''. Ou ''Juin froid et pluvieux, tout l'an sera grincheux''...  ou, pire, cette menace terrible : ''Été bien doux, hiver en courroux''. Allons... La vie est belle ! C'est l'été !

Genshin Impact AU: Teapot Tinies (Masterpost)

I got this idea from @weirdsht post, I’ve always enjoyed miniatures, and tiny stuff so this idea/headcanon really got my brain working. The brain rot is contagious bby! So I took weirdsht’s idea and made an AU from it (I really hope that’s okay!)

This Au is set in modern times (of course), The Genshin Impact Characters are just that Characters, not IRL beings just characters. I just wanted to get that out of the way first. Genshin Impact is a little bit more popular in this AU than in our timeline, but only popular in the sense that Mihoyo has enough clout and money to spent to time to work on a completely new experience that different from their usual bag of MMO/video games. In This AU, Mihoyo Labs is working on a project know as the “Teapot Project” or “Project: Teapot”, a project where the Genshin Impact Characters come to life in fun-size form, and they have chosen reader to be a beta tester for their project and have them document their experience as a Tea holder.

How to Get A Teapot

In the story I’m currently writing (yes, I’ve already started writing on fic based on this ONE POST, that’s how bad the brain rot is, but in the BEST way possible) there is no set way one can get a teapot. In the story and AU Reader is the only person who has access to the Teapot Project , aside from Mihoyo Labs. The way it happens is pretty random, but I do imply that Reader likes Genshin SO MUCH and is SO ACTIVE in the community that they seem like the prefect person for the job (also the golden rule of main character enegry,lol).

After accepting the offer in the initial email, they are giving another email featuring a link that sends them to a page fashioned like a web event page, the reader is prompt to pick a tea, and all the teas are based on genshin characters, after the pick their choice, the teapot app is automatically downloaded to their phone. A few days later a package will arrived with a teapot, a teabag, doll house shelf and a few mini accessories.

Teapot Project

After seeing how popular the Hangout Events are among the Genshin fanbase, seeing the amount of fan-fiction, and other fan-based material, Mihoyo got the idea that they could take Hangout Events to the next level, but bring everyone’s fave characters into the real-world in fun size form.

Tea Holder

The Tea holder is what the reader is referred to by Mihoyo in the Teapot App and through E-mails for privacy reason.

Teas

Teas are codenames for the Genshin characters each character’s tea name are their constellation names (alternatively Tea Minis, or Minis for short, this name is coined by the tea holder themslves )

Ex. Lisa’s Tea codename would be Tempus Fugit

Teapots

Teapots are the containers that hold well tea, much like a regular tea container but slightly bigger. The tea holder is shipped a package, once they accept Mihoyo’s offer. In the package are the teapot, the tea (in tea bag form) and accessories.

The Teapots are also region based; so, the Inazuma characters can only be steeped in the Inzuma themed teapot. When the tea holder gets a new mini from different region they get the region’s teapot, free of charge.

Furniture, clothes, weapons, and acessories

When the tea holder is shipped the package, it comes with all the furniture and accessories the tea mini will need. The package also comes with one doll house style shelf for the mini(s) to live. The furniture is like Rement miniature furniture by just with a Genshin Impact theme. It comes with a basic bedroom set, and other amenities or reactional stuff the tea holder will want their mini to have will have to come out of their own pocket or be made by themselves.

So if you want to spoil your mini by making them their own arcade area, than you can if you have the money and or skills to make one.

Teapot App

The Teapot App is the app that appears on the tea holder’s phone after they join the teapot project. On the phone, it just looks like app that about making tea or teapots in general, it doesn’t like any app anybody who might steal or look at the tea holder’s phone would have any interest in looking farther into. The icon for the teapot app is the Serenitea Pot.

The app can be used to check Tea holder’s mini(s) vitals, to see if they’re sick or hungry, in a bad mood, etc. It has note-taking/journal section for Tea holder to use to document their experinces as a tea holder, these notes/entries are only seen by Mihoyo Labs, and the tea holder. The teapot has a section for cloud storage where all media related to the minis is held; pictures, videos, and such are store here automically if the phone detects there’s mini in the photo/video. The tea holder can’t share this files on any soicals or any of genshin related from in fear of leaks, if a leak is found The tea holder will have their minis taken away and their Mihoyo account banned. There’s a section to the app for getting another mini, The tea holder doesnt have to pay for it, but they will have to wait about a month in between, so the other mini(s) can get used to the newbie mini, and so the teaholder doesn’t get overwhelmed.

How a mini comes to be

When the Tea holder gets a their selected teapot (or a new teapot for the first time) it comes with a tea bag with the design of the selected characters constellation (at first I said it was a lotus, but just a reagular tea bag makes more sense and is equally aesthetically pleasing). Through the teapot app, the Tea holder is instrcuted to make the mini tea as if they were making any other tea, the only thing those is that this tea has steep overnight and its also instructed that the teapot be place some where the outside light can hit it (i.e a windowsill or a counter near a window) . Once the sun comes up the teapot glows and the new mini steps out.

The Mini(s) are about the same sizes as nendoroid, and look like one too.

The Mini(s) act exactly like their characters in genshin, and have the same relationships in the game as they do being a mini. They enjoy the same activities (even if those activities have to be down sizes) and they will be pull towards the similar/modern versions of their activites/hobbies’s equal.

The mini keep all of their skills from genshin, for example if the tea holder gets a working mini oven, Xiangling will be attracted to cooking with it, but she has enough cooking skills where can even help the tea holder with their cooking skills, too.

The mini(s) dont really need much maintaining for the most part, they act like shemjis or animal crossing characters where they will just wonder off on their own activites and adventures, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be handful or randomly start fights with other another.

Mini(s) speak in their own mini language, its kind of like simlish, but even if the Tea holder doesn’t understand exactly what their mini(s) is/are saying, they very expressive beings and usually have their expression on their face or its just obvious by vibes.

The Teaholder can give the mini(s) gifts to increase their relationship with a mini, when a mini likes or wants something (and they can’t get themsleves) they’ll look at it longingly or straight up point to it fantically (based on their personality).

If a mini feels ignored or is constantly starting fights with other minis without a resolve, than a mini might run away (this is mostly based on the mini’s personality, if they like being alone than they’ll just stay).

The mini(s) can get around on their own by using their guilders or just climbing stuff, its the one reason why the doll house shelf doesn’t have stairs, minis just climb stuff.

You can and are allowed to take the mini(s) outside and public areas, when a mini is spotted by (another) an adult they have a instinctive ablity to strike a pose or hide in a Teaholders pocket/bookbag or purse a post as long as they see the adult before the adult sees them. If a child sees a mini in action that’s fine because one could brush it off as a child’s over active imagination if they told another person, and their on video or photographically evidence .

The Secret

In Theory one could still share images and video to the public about their minis, if they’re able to hack the teapot app, but the Tea holder is still in danger of getting in trouble. IF they can make up a good excuse to what is being show or what an outsider NOT apart of the project is seeing, than the holder is in the clear. IF they can then bad ending. Under this theory, the holder could share the secret with someone they really really trust not spill the tea (heh…heh…see what I did there,AYEE).

This Au has a similar vibe to “How To Keep A Mummy” anime, The Littles, a little bit of Arrietty and “If you give a mouse a cookie”, A Little Snow Fairy Sugar anime, and other books in “If you give a (animal) a (food)” series of kids’ books.

This Au is meant to be chill, fun, and cute; mostly a fluffy AU, but giving that the mini(s) can run away if ignore, angst could be added

Elke Heidenreich lobt seine Bücher im Verlag-Akademie-der-Abenteuer auf WDR 4 sehr, und zwar hier und hier. Der Verlag Akademie der Abenteuer wurde Ende 2020 gegründet, um in diesem Kinderbücher neu aufzulegen und Bücher in die Welt zu bringen, die es sonst vielleicht nicht gegeben hätte.
