While I do agree that some dog breeds are “messier” and more prone to destruction than others, I do believe that any behavior is capable of being trained away. It’s about leadership - you show the dog that you are in charge, and that you make the rules. Then you show your dog what the rules are, and enforce those until the dog understands them. I am not telling you how to raise your dogs; I am just against the notion that “oh, my dog is just like this because he’s a ___”. Dog breeds do not make the dog, your leadership does. Some dogs are easier to handle than others, but they are all able to be trained. But again - I am not criticizing the way you have raised your dogs. That does not concern me in any way. All I ask is that you do not blame it completely on the breed.

Lmao good luck I've never met a trainer who's had much luck with an akita. Even the crufts trainer was baffled by both Hope and Shadow.

It'd take a trainer who is solely experienced with Akitas to train those two properly an imma be real with you. We haven't found one of those yet.

An it's not just those two either, as I've previously said, we've had reports of basically the exact same behaviour from other akita owners, they're a chaotic breed, and you have to expect chaos if you wanna own one.
