He’ll never get used to this; every kiss with James feels like the first one, making Sirius’ stomach drop and heart flutter madly in his chest as he falls in love with his best friend all over again. He can’t help but want James, all the time, with a burning, bone-deep longing that soaks through his whole body the very moment James touches him. 

James’ hair is damp, clinging to the sides of his face, and his skin is glistening with foamy bubbles that drip off him each time he moves. “You’re gorgeous,” Sirius murmurs in James’ ear, and James lets out a loud, fond laugh.
