DO I EVER HAVE THOUGHTS (you've made a mistake this is so many words im so sorry I love talking about Jaime Lannister).

Jaime and Cersei are so superficially codependant on each other. In reality they know very little about who the other is in small details, and their attraction is based on a massive amount of vanity because they look so similar. But at the same time, if we're looking at Jaime, he is always the worst version of himself with Cersei.

They promote the worst in each other and it shows. Because Jaime is not that vindictive with others. He is way more honest with characters hes known for far less time then his own twin sister. He is close with Tyrion and their interactions are Jaime at his most normal. He is very himself with Catelyn to the point he confesses a strange number of things to her he doesn't for anyone else. But not Cersei.

He's closed off when he's with her. He's back to being vain and destructive and vindictive. Jaime loves the idea of being with Cersei rather then Cersei herself. He is addicted to this codependant relationship based on physical attraction to the point he ruins his own life to keep it going.

But then he is seperated from her by war. And then he meets Brienne.

Jaime, is actually not yet at his lowest when they meet but he is at the worst in terms of what his relationship with Cersei represents. When he meets Brienne he is a prisoner, chained up, filthy, stinking, probably a bit septic and quite literally covered in his own shit. He is at the opposite place which he would be with Cersei when he meets Brienne. Cersei wouldn't stick around for this version of Jaime, but Brienne has oathed to. And so their story starts at Cerseis opposite.

Then it gets interesting. Brienne is verbally combative with him and does not hesitate to push him on what she disagrees with or opposes. She is actually similar to Cersei in that shes physically close to him. But wheras Cersei is in looks alone, Brienne is in size and strength. Something that clearly peaks Jaimes interest since he switches between making fun of her size to asking things like if she wants a man strong enough to be able to wrestle with her because hes strong enough. He's interested in her for the same reason of physical, but the why is completely opposite.

Cerseis physical similarity goes no deeper. Briennes physical similarlity represents that Jaime doesnt just want more then looks, he needs more then just looks. He thrives on verbally sparring with her to the point they bond without even realizing it because theyve spoken so much.

Then Jaime inadvertantly makes a sacrifice. His hand for her honour. He makes a deal to save her from being raped and in turn his hand is cut off for his audacity of thinking making deals is how the rest of the world works. Jaimes identity shatters here.

Since like his relationship to Cersei, his identity is so superficial. Without his ability to sword fight he thinks he has nothing, just like how without their physical attraction he and Cersei, have nothing. But Brienne begins to care more. Tries to pull him out of depression and doesnt give up on him.

Then Jaime does something for Brienne hes never done for Cersei. Cersei claims Jaime would've killed Robert for hurting her, but it isn't true. We know Robert has clearly been physically abusive before considering both their reactions when he slaps her indicates he has done it before but not in front of other people. But Jaime wouldve seen the marks. He knew Cersei was physically abused. And did nothing.

Then Brienne is thrown in a bear pit with a wooden sword. And Jaime with one hand, jumps in to rescue her when he already was on his way to safety. He goes back to save her and refuses to leave without her by his side.

Now Brienne in the books is younger, but I think for their relationship dynamic I think the shows version being older works better. Beacuse now Jaime is dealing with a woman similar to his sister in age. Now he has a direct comparison on what life has turned them both into and Jaime realizes that he is full of life with Brienne.

Jaime confesses about the day he murdered the Mad King to Brienne, when hes never spoken of it before. He has never told Cersei anything like that, we know. Beacuse by then, Brienne represents everything he wishes he had with Cersei but with someone whose bond with him is the opposite of superficial or vain.

Ironically, Cersei has a version of this too. Cersei watches Margaery and Loras and is seeing what she and Jaime could have been if they did not have this toxic physical relationship with each other. Margaery and Loras love each other deeply, trust each other, protect each other and work together in harmony but without any of the hangups Cersei and Jaime have.

So when Jaime comes back and hes a different man, he tries to fit into the mold of someone he used to be and it doesnt fit him anymore. Cersei knows it, and she knows she will never actually have with Jaime what she wants.

Jaimes defining moment he could never come back from, should have been pushing Bran out that window to protect his secret relationship with Cersei. But it isn't.

It's when he sacrificed everything he didnt even really have anymore to protect Brienne in the bear pit soley because he cared about her too much to turn his back on her. That was the moment Jaime did something he could never come back from.

Jaime with Cersei is at his lowest, and with Brienne is at his highest but then when he sends Brienne away to find Sansa not knowing if theyd ever see each other again, and then he leaves to settle the remaining fights in the Riverlands, and in the books, literally burns a letter from Cersei pleading for him to come back.

Jaime has had a taste of who he is with both, and now he has to go alone for a while and figure out who he is after both of them and find out what version of Jaime Lannister was closest to who he is between them. And it's Brienne hes the most himself with, since he has literally nothing to hide from her. They started at his worst and it only got better.

He has nowhere good to go with Cersei because once the illusion of physical attraction was shattered, Jaime realized there was nothing tying him to being undyingly loyal to Cersei that mattered.

Its an interesting case of Jaime and Cersei needed each other to pretend to be whole, but Jaime and Brienne are whole without each other, and therefore are still whole when they do have each other.

person A is either rich or royalty or any other type of person who can afford maids and butlers and other help. they also have accidents all the time because theyre too proud to admit they have to pee. their head butler/maid is person B. but theyre less of a maid and butler and more like right hand man for everything, theyre best friends and maybe even more than that.

usually B doesnt mention A's accidents as to not embarrass them. but due to an increase of business in A's schedule, as well as being surrounded by people a lot of the time, their accidents have began to become more frequent, and even worse! more public.

B refuses to let A embarrass themselves infront of anyone, so they decide to implement a potty schedule.

it doesnt go as well as they hoped though. one day while the two are alone, A is writing at their desk and getting a bit squrimy. B picks up on it and quickly suggests to A to go take a break to stretch and relieve themselves. it was meant to be a subtle suggestion but A picks up on it immediately and gets very offended.

"i'm just fine thank you very much." they say before continuing with their work.

B lets it go for the time being, and bit later A is called in for dinner meeting, the two both get ready and as the drive might be long B pipes up again.

"maybe you should use the bathroom before we go, it's unlikely we'll have one on the way."

"I'm not a child and I don't even need the toilet anyway." A huffs off and leaves for the car.

the drive is silent as B takes them to their destination, glancing at A from time to time, who is sulking and hunched in their seat, leg shaking and face slightly red. B doesn't say anything, but hopes A will be able to use the toilet soon.

Spoiler alert. they dont. after A goes off to mingle with some friends before dinner begins, B asks the host directions to the facilities in advance just incase things become an emergency and A gives in. The host apologizes, as the restrooms are closed for cleaning and maintenance at the moment.

B is suddenly a lot less confident in A's abilities.

the dinner begins and A and B sit next to each other near the end of the table. every moment a cup is even half empty it's refilled, and theyre serving A's favorite. conversation bustles around with the host speaking on future events, ideas, etc for whatever this meeting is about. A only speaks when addressed directly, otherwise they listen patiently and dine on their meal.

but despite their calm and cool demeanor, underneath the table cloth A squirms, fanning their legs and pushes their crotch in their chair. the more they absentmindedly sip on their drink the worse it gets, so much so they have to physically push their drink away from themselves so they dont drink anymore.

they know the dinner will end soon, they have no interest in staying very late anyway, but will their bladder last that long?

they begin to space out and shake their legs up and down, their face gets more and more flushed.

B feels the shaking under the table and places a hand on A's back, glancing at them from the side. A meets their eyes

B speaks hushed "you're shaking the table, if i can feel it so can everyone else."

A quickly stills their legs and looks around, they straighten up and try to calm their composure. but the change in position causes their bladder to squeeze and let out a small dribble into their underwear.

their eyes widen and their face flushes. theyve never been this desperate in public before, sure theyve had accidents after coming home or while in the car during public events, but never while still at them. their breathe quickens.

B suddenly stands up, "well this has been lovely but I'm afraid we have another engagement after this so we have to leave early"

A looks up at them in shock and then changes their demeanor, cooly standing up and nodding to the other guests.

the host bids them goodbye before swiftly going back to the conversation they were already having, and the two of them leave the building.

as they walk into the parking lot, A doubles over and whimpers

B rubs their back "im sorry A, they dont have any toilets available here, can you wait?"

A bites their thumb, unsure. they feel like if they move a single muscle they'll burst right here.

B sighs "can you at least try?"

A attempts another step, and then a stream slides down their leg, they grab themselves quickly and looks around frantically in fear of anyone seeing

slowly B leads A to their car, a leaking the whole way. and once they reach it, A finally breaks.

A sob escapes their throat as pee continuously rushes down their legs and onto the concrete below. their face pretty much glows red, and tears dribble down their cheek.

a beat of silence passes as B huffs and heads towards the trunk of their car and hands them a new pair of pants and a towel, something that has become a sort of permanent fixture recently.

A tactfully dries themselves off and changes then sits in the car, sniffiling with embarrasment.

usually B wouldn't say anything, but today as B gets into the drivers seat, they clear their throat, causing A to look at them.

"I reminded you several times today to use the bathroom and you refused. now you've had an accident that nearly occurred in front of your colleagues and their friends. this has gotten out of hand"

A looks down in a grumpy shame "Im sorry... I'll be sure to listen to you next time-"

B lifts their right index finger "no need. there wont be a next time."

A tilts their head "huh?"

B "this has gone on long enough, when we get home some real changes will be made"

im not certain if rei has ever talked about his opinion of souma or visa versa, but im sure they at least know each other since souma is close friends with kanata and adonis, who are both close friends of reis. rei is also an ex friend of keito and they have a very long history with each other, including undead and akatsuki being one unit before splitting after rei and keito went their separate ways , although that was before souma had anything to do with akatsuki , but i'm sure souma knows about the history of his unit . souma generally holds friends of his friends in high regards even if he doesnt really understand them as individuals (save for kaoru, who he hates) so i think its safe to say that also applies to rei . rei is similar to madara in temperament though , and despite being loyal to him as one of kanatas friends , souma finds madara very confusing . it would make sense for him to also find rei similarly confusing .

rei isnt too picky about who he likes and dislikes , as long as someone hasnt hurt him or the people he cares about hell be friendly with them . in the same vein , he'll also be more likely to trust someone that his friends are already friends with , so hes probably at the very least on good terms with souma .

this is all an educated speculation though. if anyone else knows if theyve ever actually interacted in a substantial way id be curious to know about that

the bond between rhaenyra and alicent is crazy. by the point the dinner happens and viserys dies theyve been enemies longer than theyd been friends. everyone has perfectly good reasons to think they would no longer care about each other. otto is the only one truly paying attention, and therefore he kinda knows. hell, even alicent and rhaenyra seem to be taken aback by each other at times. the years they spent living at the keep together must have been insane

this is the thing though (and i've said this before and i'll say it again!) - we're given plenty of evidence to suggest rhaenyra and alicent were so built into each others lives prior to alicent marrying viserys that they were basically one entity. alicent was rhaenyra's childhood companion they were always together, like to the point of unhealthy codependency lmao, thats just the nature of it; it was just them, no other playmates or classmates or friends. just them. together. always. likely from a very young age. and we know they were at least some form of in love with each other, i think thats been confirmed enough at this point for me to say that without needing to argue my point.

and then they get torn apart and maybe dont say one genuinely kind thing to each other for years. but the issue is they only hated each other so much because they loved each other so much first. every unkind act is based in 'i loved you and you betrayed me', 'i loved you and you hurt me', 'i still love you and apparently it doesnt matter' and they can never really hope to reconcile the amount they loved and depended on each other because they never get any closure for it so they just keep loving each other underneath it all and using that pain to foster their resentment of each other. their shared past is just a gaping bloody wound and its never going to heal.

and you're right its not actually that surprising that so few people see the truth of it because rhaenyra and alicents past is only kept alive in them and openly disparage each other for decades and they never speak about their past to anyone (that we see). as ive pointed out previously daemon and criston are their respective confidantes and theres no way they would feel comfortable sharing any of the lingering positive feelings they have for one another with either of them.

and sorry for the tangent but just linking back to my earlier posts today: i do still think the evolution of their relationship was a bit rushed/whiplash inducing (as quite a few elements were, that was the sacrifice made to keep the pace up). they came back too easily from the brink in a way that seemed overly narratively advantageous to rhaenyra - but regardless their story still holds up in a way i cant help but find ridiculously compelling. i still think making this change was a great way to critique the nature of the source material because now you have these two women at the centre of this story who are unquestionably victims and had so little choice and i know some people dont like that because its uncomfortable or w/e and certainly the execution leaves a bit to be desired but to me it just seems unrealistic for them to be anything else? look at the world they live in. the reality they face. we see time and time again in our own world women strive to collaborate and build bridges and men tear them down and pit women against each other and i dont think its reductive or psuedo-feminist to make that phenomenon a central aspect of this story when its set in such a heavily patriarchal world.

oh my god i never told you guys abt my disaster twins competitive pkmn players concept. one sec ill put it under a cut for you bc this might get long lmao

so basically. gen 9 came out, and the boys, in their recent-switch glory, were like omg hell yes. game time. donnie and leo both get violet and mikey and raph both get scarlet (theyve got their own games bc they would tear each other apart if they had to share physical copies trust me) and generally trade around exclusives and chill etc etc. also while im on this leo picks quaxly, mikey is a toss up between fuecoco and quaxly, raph picks fuecoco obvs, and donnie picks sprigatito, as does april when she gets her own copy of violet later (which she honestly only chose for the loyalty points lmao she likes karaidon better)

anyways i was saying. donnie is one of those nerds who like perfectly iv trains his normal ass in-game team and builds perfect compositions around typings and looks up the gyms types n stuff and he was SO excited when he learned abt tera types and how they impacted team comps

leo on the other hand has the messiest type crossover and team comp EVER but still manages to thrash his opponents bc he uses really good movesets and strategies

the twins get into watching competitive videos while they play violet in silence together (hashtag parallel play) until donnie eventually starts commenting on weird stat spreads and leo eventually bursts out about shitty move choices and weird sets, or leo starts showing donnie videos abt odd pkmn getting high in latters, and then they start watching showdown battles...

and they lightbulb.

donnie loves building teams more than anything else, loves making them efficient as humanly possible.

leo loves showing the potential of odd pokemon and would kill for a good strategic challenge after all this time (hes been protecting against nemona and using electroweb against gym leaders, poor guy).

and, well, its not like you need anything special to get on the ladder in violet...

they start out simple, donnie building a basic team and leo reviewing it before going at the basic gen 9 ladders.

they kind of wreck house.

they just start going at the ladders with that team in their free time, then a different one when they get bored, then one with a few oddballs when donnie decides to ask leo what pokemon he wants to use, then they get kind of bored of just paldean pokemon so donnie gets to work understanding showdown...

but while its fun, they dont have anyone to brag to, because their brothers have no fucking clue what theyre talking about.

donnie has experience with youtube, right?

so they set up a little joint thing; a channel called disasterx2, no webcam, just videos about ladder battles. they end up specializing both in unique teams and movesets and in just vids about breaking down walls in ladders with a normal team. what makes both nifty is that donnie explains the whole team comp in a separate video to the battles, and the aesthetic quality is improved by donnies sensibilities and mikeys input (he was absolutely excited when they asked him to help with it. leo was no help. so much offense, actually, i have a feeling his fashion sense is good but the moment you try to make him make something look good visually on its own hes screwed.), and leos strategies are batshit, and ofc the boys are the boys, they go on tangents sometimes when they do real-time audio during battles and sometimes they just. dont cut them out. raph and mikey make guest appearances sometimes, april cheers them on on occasion, her and raph are very relieved bc its finally something non destructive they can spend their time on, its all great.

leo very often picks pokemon and movesets out and then donnie provides the pokemon (through breeding and stat spread tweaking, because god knows hed love that nerd shit). donnie likes it because 1. how leo uses those outlier pokemon is very interesting and 2. it gives him an opportunity to think about how to apply the right stats, natures, etc to apply to the pokemon and moves leo chose.

one of my favorite ever headcanons is that leo gets quiet when he focuses. like, dead quiet, and terrifyingly quiet. hes well known in their fandom for being very chatty over voiceover and then pretty quiet whenever hes playing challenging battles. donnie doesnt understand the strategies all that well so when leo gets too focused he just talks a lot abt the stat spreads and they add extra text to the video lmao. sometimes they utilize their clueless family members to have them ask questions they wouldnt have considered due to their knowledge in videos, sometimes donnie snags mikey while leos too quiet when theyre doing real-time audio, etc the fam knows theyre just glad theyre having fun

looks around flips through my mental notebook. nods twice. thats it i think! basically i think itd be fun if the twins played competitive but donnie built the teams and leo played hehe. i thought of it one day and it just stuck with me. anyways thanks for sticking w me through this long post that i need to end before my phone glitches out oops

YES I WOULD LOVE TOO!!!

as i said before, agitha and sinie have a history. theyve known each other their entire high school career, and the story takes place their senior year. sinie is the only person besides agitha's own friends in the student council who knows her personality to a T, and sinie just a bit more than those on the student council simply because agitha has shown sinie her ugliest. however sinie has also seen sides of agitha that she doesnt show anyone else, like her affection for princess pootie and her love for ponies because yes agitha is a horse girl.

however, that being said, there are things sinie doesnt know. sinie knows agitha gets pretty sick easy, but she doesnt know about why. she doesnt know about agitha's weak immune system and how in middle school she got so sick so bad she almost died and it completely took her out of dancing because her body couldn't recover. sinie has no idea why agitha is the way she is, just that she is and she has come to accept it. theres something about agitha that really draws sinie to her despite the fact that they almost never get along unless they let their guard down for once.

theres some more ideas i have in my mind that i wont go too much into right now simply because theyre vague ideas...but also gotta keep people wanting more :3

now that im not on the verge of sobbing at 4am, i can actually give proper feedback that makes sense and isnt just me keymashing and hoping you understood what thats supposed to mean

LITERALLY HAVE SM TO SAY I WILL BREAK IT DOWN YEAH THAT SOUNDS BEST I THINK

i mentioned in an ask (i think?) about how much i admire your understanding of the characters and shit but that was too vague and now that i can actually fucking think and form coherent sentences i'll just go deeper into it. its SO SO obvious within your writing how much you understand the characters and their personalities, but more importantly, their emotions. im not sure how else to word this but your writing is so...well rounded? if that makes any sense. every single emotion you portray these characters in is so insanely accurate it feels weirdly canon even though most of the time, theyve never actually been shown like this in the actual manga. IF YOU DONT GET WHAT I MEAN I'LL USE RAN BEGGING IN THE RECENT CHAPTER AS AN EXAMPLE OKAY!! obviously ran is presented as a pretty closed off character emotionally, so we've never seen him break down or get upset or beg in canon, but god the way you wrote him im fully convinced that if he did ever beg for something (or someone 😱) it would be exactly the way you wrote it (I RLY HOPE YOU GET WHAT I MEAN). even more simple and often overlooked emotions like joy...you write them so well like its almost like you studied every bit of these characters before each chapter because god its just...wow honestly. im always going into the chapters with such high expectations yet somehow you exceed them EVERY SNGLE TIME your writing leaves my mind all fuzzy and i have to put my phone or laptop down for a bit and process what tf i just read bc its just THAT GOOD i would talk more about how you present rindou, y/n, and EVEN HANMA?? (i only started liking him after i read lda btw) but atm all i can think ab is ran and the way you write him so i'll analyse them another time 4 you <333

other than ur unbelievably accurate understanding of the characters, the way you invoke tension within the story and how it changes ever so slightly each chapter is so beautiful to me. this chapter you repeated the phrase "three dead, five arrested, six." OR SMTH every few lines and i was about to scream bc of how tense the atmosphere was i could not I WAS FIGHTING TRYING NOT TO READ AHEAD YOU DONT UNDERSTAND?? in other chapters you, if i remember correctly, tend to drag things out but not in like an annoying way, you do it in such a thoughtful and tactful way and it makes reading so so much more enjoyable than it already is. god i just I CANT SAY ENOUGH FOR MY LOVE OF HOW YOU USE SUCH SIMPLE AND COMMON LITERARY TECHNIQUES IN SUCH A BEAUTIFUL WAY IM GOING TO SOB CAT I CANNOT. I did not see it coming at all. Also I'm not sure that's what Rhys meant when he said he wanted them to make up 😬 How does miss groupie really feel about each of the boys?

I'm not gonna lie i didnt see it coming either and then as i was writing it just suddenly occurred to me that they couldn't not? There characters have been building to some kind of realisation since the very beginning, theyve always been closer than just "fuck buddies" and its been apparent right from the start that they care about eachother and that if she was any other girl they'd have been together already.

But for reals its definitely not what rhys meant :o :o :o

I know im the writer and I'm supposed to know how my characters feel but right now i have no clue whatsoever!! I think miss groupie is confused and in a real mess and I am confused too. I dont even know who i think would be better for her at this point??

Its clear she fancies the fuck out of Billy and she's definitely going to be thinking about that night for a very long time. I can't imagine shes finished with him just yet.

Aaron is definitely someone she is very emotionally close with too, not as much as she is with Harri, but they're certainly good friends. Perhaps theres less between them and perhaps he may be a little easier to let go if it ever even comes to that, but I think she'd be lying if she said she could let him go and never second guess herself.

Jamie is such a tricky one because clearly everyone else thinks he isn't good for her, and perhaps he isn't... But theres something there that she just can't get enough of. Maybe if we sat down and psychoanalysed her we'd find some deep emotional reason for her enjoying the way he appears to hate her, the cruelty he treats her with and the plain lack of respect he seems to have for her.. Or perhaps shes just a thrill seeker and that's all there is to it. Either way I think she's still hooked on his temper and trying to piss him off. He has a lot more to offer her right now than you can begin to imagine and i think her inability to predict just how far he's going to take things will keep her hanging on despite her friends warnings.

Theres also the fact that Jamie has expressed a hint of remorse and perhaps even a little concern for her in the past, and has certainly calmed down after the events backstage which lead to this mess in the first place. You can't forget that he was willing to fuck his entire engagement into the ground for her, and although perhaps you could say that says more about his lack of love for Saskia than it does his feelings for y/n, but you can't say that without acknowledging that it takes something pretty strong to lead someone seemingly blindly down a path of devestation so, well, devestating. Whether its attraction, love, something else or just plain old self distructive tendencies, somethings going on there he isnt telling anyone...

If anyone knows whats going on his Jamies head its probably Eddie and perhaps thats why out of all the lads Eddie has the least to do with our groupie.

Eddie really is just a bit of a booty call for her, they don't even fuck very often and hardly have one to one interaction. Probably Jamie is keeping him too busy with the laundry and ironing his socks, he doesnt have the same free time as the others. Or perhaps he can sense that theres something underneath Jamies bad temper and cruel remarks, perhaps hes seen this kind of thing before and he knows whats really going on in Jamies head...

The younger lads are far too new to the mix for y/n to show them any real thought I think, she doesn't know many of them all that well, but she probably feels a minor moral obligation to Finn because of her relationship with his father. I think they're more likely to remain friends even if she gives up her nympho lifestyle and settles down. I think he sees himself as a friend to her and she sees herself as a friend to him too. In another life they could have ended up being raised together like brother and sister (you know because when her dad died finns dad was there and could have taken her in) so i think they understand theyre always going to know one another and need to be friends.

I think she's going to remain curious about James, i dont think she's going to be able ti shelve that curiosity at all... But is she even going to get to know him? What if she has to pull the plug on everything because of whats happened between her and Harri.

As for Rhys... That feels so uncertain and so complicated. Their relationship developed so fast and really is the spanner thats been thrown in the works between the rest of them. Rhys showing up has meant she spends less time with Aaron, no longer sleeping in the same bed as him at night, its meant theres been someone there to hold her back from winding Jamie up, someone to show her the care and comfort she needs when she goes ahead and pushes that too far anyway. Before Rhys her main authority figure was Harri, but he always enjoyed her wild side too much to ever really hold her back or stop her when she was in the middle of a tricksy plan. Rhys has been there to defend her, something shes never let anyone do in the past, to look after her and treat her softly, baby her in a way shes never let anyone else do. Before him she was always keeping up the "pretence" of independence, that she liked being alone, that she didn't need anyonr and that other people to her were just pieces in her game to be used and then knocked off the board. But Rhys is different, he's the only one who won't give her what she wants, the only one who won't give her instant gratification or the satisfaction of a conquest and so for the first time she's being forced to consider making sacrifices, to consider someone elses feelings and rules... Because Harri didnt have rules and she didn't care about anyone elses.

Rhys does and for the first time she isnt being rewarded for breaking them... Thats forcing her to really consider what he js to her.

I think she wants to trust him completely, but something is holding her back... The knowledge that if she hands herself over to him she has to give up all her other options. For whatever reason this girl craves and needs the attention of all these men, perhaps its just a classic sex addiction or perhaps its something deeper than that.

We know shes got her daddy issues and she always seems to be seeking out authority (even if that is only so she can rebel against it) either way its complicated and she has a lot of thoughts and feelings to try and work out. And tbh she's running out of time to do so...

I think a fair few chapters back Jamie asked her what she was going to do when the tour ended and she told him she'd probably go home for awhile, find a new band to hang around with... I think all considering the stitch shes in now, and the way she tends to deal with problems (either purposefully making them worse or straight up ignoring them and shutting off her feelings) she really will go off and do that. Perhaps we'll get a Groupie Part ll or perhaps someone else will give her a better opportunity.

Practically all of the HCs are centered around mainly Bruno due to the fic, and how the family interacts with him

-Antonio's leopard stuffy definitely ends up becoming Bruno's, much to the kid's amusement- and Bruno doesn't even realize it. He goes to bed and always wakes up with it in his arms (Antonio's animal friends always help him sneak the stuffy into Bruno's room, Dolores chips in by always letting Antonio know when Bruno needs the stuffed leopard to help him sleep better)

- After the courtyard incedent the entire family becomes a bit clingy, almost overbearingly so- even Casita. Though the quiter kids like Dolores and Louisa usually know when Bruno wants company without conversation, which they're cool with.

- Mira and Julieta bake Bruno's favorite sweets and pass "emergency" packs of them out to everyone in the family each morning before they start their busy days so if anyone notices his mood slipping they can stop what they're doing to give him a snack n lift his day a bit

- The first time a villager badmouths Bruno its on his and his sisters' birthday, and it happens in front of the entire family. Unexpectedly, out of literally anyone it could have been, its the normally easy-going brother-in-law duo Felix and Augustin that get in the villagers face n threaten to make their kneecaps work backwards for daring to threaten their Hermanito (They have never in all the time theyve known him ever called him that before and Bruno nearly cries because holy shit he has brothers now-)

- Julieta nearly joined her husband and brother in law but decided it was a far better view to watch her love get so riled up and protective (One of the many reasons she loves him) She instead makes sure no one else joins and interrupts the brother-in-laws absolutely verbally destroying the villager who upset Bruno

- Isa learns what his favorite plants are and one day while the other members of the family are dragging him around town to socialize she sneaks into his room (the old guest room) and that night when he goes in his room hes greeting with the sight of the plain looking room being covered in all his favorite plants in pots and flowing out his window, Casita using the wooden window covers to wave at him. (He cries. A lot. Who wouldnt?)

- He follows Louisa around sometimes when shes running errands and tries to help- (and she lets him sometimes- passing him the smallest ((and sometimes, empty-)) bags when she hauls large carts of grain bags, passing him the reigns of the sweetest most gentle n loving donkey among the large group that has managed to escape the pen again, passing him stones the size of about a football when shes moving large boulders, etc). Despite what one would normally assume he doesn't miss the fact that she's sort of babying him, but he never says anything because he knows it's a big step for her to let anyone help at all- so he simply pays her back by making sure she drinks plenty of water and fussing over any scraps or bruises she gets from overworking herself

- Bruno becomes a sort of secondary Doctor due to the fact he's started to constantly carry around a pack full of water and some of Julieta's cooking whenever he heads to town with anyone in the family

- Augustin and Felix discover in the most amusing way possible that Bruno has the lowest alcohol tolerance known to man (it was during a celebration of some kind, they cheerfuly challenged him to a friendly drinking match- he made it maybe 5 sips in and was immediatly done for. Everyone at the party silently vowed to protect him with their lives when they witnessed him talking to someone about his incredible nieces & nephews n he immediatly started to cry over how amazing and adorable they all were and theyd all grown up so strong "You don't understand Julian, theyre the best, my god I'm so proud of them-")

- Him n Alma sit down to have tea together on Wednesdays and Sundays, quietly chatting about anything that comes to mind. Sometimes other members of the family join them, but on days where its just them they get to slowly heal their broken bond. Alma works on her patience n fear, Bruno works on his communication and anxiety

- Camilo plays pranks on anyone who insults Bruno behind his back- his pranks can sometimes dance the line between fun and cruelty though when it comes to the folks that dare insult Bruno to the mans own face (The first time he witnessed such an event, the crestfallen look on his tio's face made the weight of his own words hit him even harder, guilt over the comments he'd made about him during the song sung to Mira clouding his heart until he decides to go after the villager he'd seen insult the ex-wall hermit. He felt a lot better after and hasnt stopped since)

- The family have daily cuddle nights where they gather up a bunch of blankets n pillows n they just talk to eachother, helping eachother understand n communicate better.

One night when the younger kids are asleep, Bruno quietly opens up about how everyone's past behavior and his isolation has effected him- and once he starts, he cant stop, spilling every feeling of hurt thats ever hit his heart until all any of them can do is simply hold him and listen closely, giving him the aknowledgment and support he needs

- Sometimes when he's overwhelmed Bruno crawls back into his hole in the wall, though he usually warns someone before he does so there isn't panic over his disappearance. Over time he gradually works out of the habit, learning to talk to anyone in his family when he's struggling with things, though it takes years

- As Bruno starts to adjust to being around people again, his dry jokes become even dryer- Puns, dad jokes (tio jokes?), You name it-

He managed to get Pepa to snort over one of his oddly timed jokes once and nothing could take the smile off of his face for days afterwards

- Bruno sat Mariano down one day for a private conversation. The poor lad left the room paler than a sheet of paper, muttering about the color green and rats for a few days after, never explaining just what happened in that room ("Mi amor, your tio Bruno loves you, and if I ever piss him off just know I love you-")

Once he'd gotten over Bruno's terrifying hurt-her-theyll-never-find-you speech (Bruno eventually apologized, though when he shook Mariano's hand his grip was surprisingly strong) the two of them bonded surprisingly well over a joint love for writing poetry

Axton Headcanons Because I Feel Like It

he tried to be a good husband for sarah he really did, but they probably werent really compatible no matter how hard he tried

hes a rule breaker with creative solutions and a crippling inability to do nothing even when its necessary

now given that he cant just sit by and do nothing pandora is PERFECT for him

always something to do, always people to save, always corporations to fight

and with the space he gets with the crimson raiders that he could never get in the dahl military he can finally process all the shit hes been through and done

he has the space to grow and he knows he should, so he CHOOSES to, he CHOOSES to better himself

and not in the way of following more rules, but maybe he learns to paint, maybe he learns different forms of mathematics, maybe he asks maya or zer0 or gaige what their lives were like on other worlds so he can have more compassion for people he meets

he is almost definitely in love with his turret thats not a question

he talks to her when hes cleaning her or fixing her

he talks about what they did together that day and what theyll do the next

its very domestic and kind of sweet but its also deeply uncomfortable to the other vault hunters because they cant tell how deep that runs

zer0 and lilith have money on him fucking his turret

everyone else put in money against that because its a disturbing thought to most, even on pandora

zer0 walked in on him crying over her once, it wasnt even really about anything, he was just struck with grief

they sat next to him with his head in his hands and gave him an awkwardly positioned side hug

they got much closer to each other after that

eventually he opened up to them enough that when they inevitably asked questions about his scars he answered honestly

he talked about his history of finding himself in the wrong place at the wrong time, of his habit of getting himself caught in tight spaces, the way he takes bullets for other people when he can, his occasional relapses of self harm

sometimes he visits tina when he doesnt trust himself because he knows he would never do anything that could hurt her and she cares about him enough that his death would cut her deep

he visits more after roland dies than he did before, because he doesnt want her to be alone and feel alone

sometimes hell bring zer0 and gaige and a board game and theyll play for hours

he catches himself staring at zer0 a lot, he finds he hardly ever flirts with them anymore, he thinks about all the gifts hes given them at random, and realizes he might be in love again

he never says anything, he doesnt want to ruin it, and hes not sure hes ready

zer0 notices and doesnt say anything about it, but they grab his hand one day, out of the blue, flash a heart across their visor, and hand him the smoothest rock theyve ever seen on pandora

he doesnt know what it really means but he knows enough about zer0 to know it means SOMETHING

they unofficially court for a good long time before anyone else really even notices somethings changed

the first one to notice is gaige since she and axton are ✨besties✨ and she fakes offense at not being told and then just teases him endlessly about how disgustingly cute it is

he tells her to shut up but he smiles the whole time

sometimes hell come up behind her and put his chin on the top of her head, particularly in a situation where it would embarrass her

he sort of sees her as a very close friend and sort of sees her as a little sister and hes very soft about it

when he realized krieg was always nervous around her he started watching real close

he had never seen such dad like behavior from any pandoran before but he immediately recognized it for what it was

he saw it with tina too, and anyone young they came across

he came to the conclusion on his own that whoever krieg was before was a very good and kind and loving dad, and one day he took that conclusion and went to give his psycho friend a hug

it wasnt well received because he forgot to make himself known and forgot to ask if he could and he earned himself a broken arm but he wasnt mad about it

he definitely learned his lesson though and only ever approached from the side krieg could see on

he never really had to forge a connection with salvador like he did with the others, salvador just liked him immediately

their jokes bounced off each other and their serious moments worked in harmony

they werent really best friends but they were close, and then they started working closer together and talking to each other more and sharing experiences and practically became brothers

he writes intentionally shitty poetry on his downtime

sometimes zer0 joins him on the rooftops of sanctuary and they make bad poems together

he likes to study zer0s hands, hes always been a "hands-on" guy, haha

he likes the way their fingers flex and how thick they are and how long their hands are and the way their wrist bends

it was at first very alarming to them that he wanted to look so closely but he never pressured them into removing their suit just so he could see their hands

he always asked if he could play around with their hands before doing it, too

they like watching the sunset together, and sometimes the sunrise, and its the quiet moments like those that help him remember what hes got and how much he loves what he has

hes finally got friends and family that love him and like him and work with him willingly and spend their time off with him by choice

he learns, here on pandora, in the dingy flying city of sanctuary, what it really means to be loved

hes never been happier

ummm well ok that’s kind of a big question cuz theyve been doing content since 2019 so there’s been a billion changes and encompassing them Well and Fully in one reply seems near impossible without rambling and being nonsensical but ill give u a few, the evolution of their flirting and also some random changes under da Cut ^_^ BC I DID END UP RAMBLING

their flirting has evolved HELLAAAAA and i have no fucking idea how to do full on summaries so im gonna make it as loose as possible 😭 very early on it was way more joking, more lighthearted, kinda teasing. and then itd go to like. serious commentary on their Jealousy w a /hj. SOOOO MUCH MORE TENSION LIKEEEE so intimate sometimes id constantly feel like i was intruding by watching. then incorporating 'jokes' about explicitly sexual/romantic stuff into their dynamic and NORMALIZING IT. so much of everything was kind of a push and pull ? like pushing platonic lines and after theyd blur or get rid of a line that behavior would become a regular and accepted as the norm w them (like them talking abt having sex.....) also it used to constantly felt like there was like a grapple for the upper hand, theyd love exposing texts and stuff lawl, theyd love flustering the other, stuff like that. it also felt like so much was dancing around each other ???? kinda will they wont they vibes Ykwim

I need to share soft sign language buddies ninogami headcanon because they’re taking over my brain always:

(This got so long, so youre welcome if youre also starved for ninogami content)

Nino’s mom is Deaf , so he grew up signing as much as speaking. When he was younger he always signed as he talked.

It turned out he’s also Hard of Hearing, so sign language is way easier for him to understand most of the time.

However, though he’s great at making friends, he’s very awkward when it comes to talking about himself. So never comes up in conversation.

It’s not a self-deprication issue. It’s just a “thinking of things to say is hard and I’d rather have someone else do the talking” thing. He’d rather talk about anyone except himself.

Additionally! He’s great at helping other people, but he’s terrible at asking for help. He does not EVER want to be like “hey i cant understand what you’re saying, my ears dont work great,” its his worst nightmare

And it doesnt help that there have been a few cases of people being rude about it when he doesnt hear them after they repeat themselves. And possibly worse, there have been even more cases of people giving over-the-top apologies instead of just,, telling him what they said. So it’s not worth the trouble in his mind

with his few close friends who still dont know, it feels like its too late and it’d be awkward to bring it up, so he just… doesnt. He’s procrastinating on telling them he cant hear them

He stopped signing as much as he talked in middle school because strangers would always be like “woah thats so cool, how do you know sign language” and he’d just panic because he was an awkward tween, and he didnt know if he was comfortable telling them he was HoH, but ALSO just saying his mom was Deaf and not mentioning himself felt like directly lying by hiding information, so he just took the “lazy” way out and signed less in public.

Sometimes fighting the anxiety was not worth it so he just let it win in that case.

Nino is so nice and energetic and loves people, but he is way more introverted and anxious than his friends think.

But when they start to get closer, Kagami who is ever-observant, notices him signing a little bit, (not ever to her, not ever on purpose, but he’d sometimes sign a word he needed to remember while speaking or sign along to emphasize something)

and she luckily for his anxiety, she doesnt know how to have a normal conversation either.

Her (platonic as well as romantic) love language is studying and research, and Nino seems very cool and she likes him, even if she is awful at holding a conversation with him or doing anything to show it.

She thinks he’s so cool and such an amazing talented kind friend. She has so much love for him that she doesnt know what to do with it. So she channels that energy into learning to sign through the internet and whatever tools she can find

And then after a while of this, she’s like “oh no, he’s gonna think that’s so creepy, I cant tell him I know sign language or he’ll be so uncomfortable”

So, like a whole idiot, she hides that she’s learning sign language from anyone. Because OBVIOUSLY if word got back to Nino, he’d assume it was because of him and that she was a weirdo he shouldn’t be friends with

But also Kagami accidentally falls in love with sign language because she has undiagnosed autism. She always assumed that communicating was just going to be impossible no matter what, but as she gets proficient in sign language she’s like,,, oh,,, OH,, this is very nice

Even just signing while she talks makes it so much easier to keep words and sentances straight, but she only does it when she’s alone with her mother, who is literally blind and would never know.

They become closer friends in late high school, and by that time a lot of Nino’s anxiety has worn off and he’s become completely comfortable letting teachers know when he needs to hear somthing, and middle school feels like a distant dream

At some point, Nino invites Kagami to his house a few times, and he signs with his mom. Nino is like “I can interpret for you,” and Kagami is like “wow thanks, I’m so lucky, because I obviously do not know any sign language, why would I have learned it, and also for the record it is brand new information to me that you can sign,” and Nino is like “cool? Its not a secret but im glad i told you if you somehow didnt already know,” and Kagami is like, “yep :)”

But then eventually as they become really close, they are texting one night, (Kagami can still barely get out of her house, so they need to communicate remotely. And both of then HATE phone calls bc its so hard to understand whats happening, but neither of them have admitted this to anyone)

Nino admits that he likes using sign language better than talking, and he wishes he could use it with his friends, but he’d feel so guilty asking them to learn an entire language just to make him slightly more comfortable. He can talk and hear OKAY so he shouldnt put the pressure on them.

and Kagami is like “you could always ask, worst case scenerio they say no, and i dont think thats an unreasonable demand” and nino is like “it is though,” and kagami’s like “ok so haha funny story, please dont hate me” and nino is like, “…what.” And kagami confesses everything and nino is like “why… why would i hate you for that?” And Kagami is like “oh wait youre right im stupid,”

And then Nino’s also like “hey if YOURE more comfortable signing too, then why dont YOU ask your friends to sign for you. Do you see what i mean? It’s hard to ask-” and kagami is like, “as your friend i will prove it is not.”

So then Kagami ends up confronting Adrien and Marinette the next day and is like “Hi. This is a sign language dictionary. Learn from it.” And they’re both like “what?” And she’s like “oh wait sorry. Backing up. I’m autistic. I decided like three years ago. Forgot to tell you. And I need you to learn to sign a little bit so you can understand if i sign something at you. If you want, of course. Please :D.” And theyre like “ok sure yeah i can do that.”

(Theyve already learned and accepted that shes extremely direct in asking for things)

So then she texts nino and is like “i did it. Youre welcome.”

But anyway both of them are uncomfortable in crowds and parties: Nino cant hear anyone and Kagami tends to get sensory overload, so they start signing mostly in those situations, and then it starts to sink in that they’re allowed to sign whenever and that the other really IS also comfortable with it.

(Both of them are much more willing to make sacrifices for others than to try something new and intimidating for themself, so this is the perfect situation to trick them into getting out of their comfort zone, ironically by trying to be more comfortable in the long run)

so they will just sit together and hang out and have long conversations while just chilling somewhere in a park or at cafes or whatever. Both of them become chattier than they’ve ever been because talking and understanding is so much easier, and its addicting

And their close friends all become proficient enough in sign language to have simple conversations.

But also Nino and Kagami start sitting together automatically even in group hangouts, and they start hanging out more with just the two of them, and soon neither of them feel bad about asking to hang out in quieter places, because they can justify it knowing that it will also help the other one, and together that makes both of them also more comfortable asking for little accomodations from other friends, if only to prove to the other that they can do it too.

And Kagami has the lesser-known autism side effect where she makes WAY TOO MUCH eye contact. She’s aware of it but that doesnt make it go away. Normally she feels so awkward about it, and overthinks her gaze because she doesnt want to scare people away. But when signing, you literally HAVE to be watching the other person constantly, so she has an excuse to just be herself, and its so relieving

(and also its kind of fun to look at Nino anyway because he can get so animated and his smile is really nice and oh no she is in love a little bit)

And Nino always struggles because he emotionally ALWAYS needs to be the nice polite one. His anxiety sometimes gets the better of him and he’s constantly worried about sending the wrong signals to his friends and coming off as rude somehow. But with Kagami, he can literally just ask?? And she will tell him her honest opinion without making it weird. And its so comfy and so good and he really loves hearing her unfiltered opinions on so many things because she sees the world in such a unique way and she gets so passionate about such little things and then oh no, he is fallen for her before he can realize it

And they also learn that they’re both artists, they both love to just observe the world because even if they;re awkward, people are actually pretty great most of the time, and its fun to observe them and try to capture the world, and they just sit together and sketch, or they watch each other sketch, and the thing is, both of them draw ONLY FOR THEMSELVES, its not a ‘skill,’ and they don;t want it to be, its just private art for relaxation. Somehow, though, its okay if they share their art with each other. They can just sit in comfortable silence for hours while one of them sketches something and the other watches patiently

And they start to get more comfortable with one of their heads resting on the other’s shoulder as they watch them doodle, and sitting so close their legs press together, and soon enough their hands start brushing against each other’s as they walk next to each other and then all of a sudden they’re casually holding hands whenever they’re not signing because it’s nice

They try to share headphones so Nino can share some of his favorite songs and his compositions with Kagami. But try as she might, Kagami can not handle the sensory of only having one earbud in. Nino knows her tells by that point, and he’s not about to let her suffer for a stupid reason, but she REALLY does want to hear his music. They somehow end up with Kagami putting a pair of headphones around her neck and turning up the volume a little bit so she can hear, while Nino rests his head on her shoulder so he can hear just enough to know where she is in the song

And then he has to sit up and scootch away just enough to see her hands so they can talk about it, and they both pretend not to notice how nice it was to snuggle as they sign. Its fine, though, because now they get the excuse to just look at each other again and sign overdramatically with exaggerated facial expressions, and no one else around can overhear their conversation, and Nino likes to go a little over the top when signing onomatopoeia and acting out particular parts of the song rhythm that he likes, and Kagami laughs, and they both mentally save the image of each other in this moment the same way that they look at reference images for artwork, memorizing the lines of each movement and the things that make each smile unique,

and Nino also shows up at every single one of her fencing tournaments, and he sits as close as he can and signs encouraging messages to her from the crowd whenever she’s not actively competing, (that her blind mom can never catch, which is somewhat of a bonus to Kagami, because every element of their friendship that her mother cant interact with makes this more personal and special and HERS). Every little sign she sends back at him, even a simple thank you, always feels so good and rebellious and free because shes supposed to be focusing on fencing but shes deciding to care more about friendship. And even if she’s expected to leave immediately afterword, she’ll find every excuse possible to find him and give him a hug, which he’ll always accept even though she jokingly warns him shes sweaty and gross

And eventually they are special best friends and it brings them instant joy to see each other and theyre able to interact for no reason other than that they want to and like each other
