To be fair: the only reason I'm teaching The Hobbit at uni this term is because I have read so much incredible fanfiction (e.g. by @conkers-theficwriter or @formlessvoidbeast or @the-pen-pot and so many more!) and seen so much awesome art (e.g. by @dejjablu or @verk0my or @rutobuka2 or @seadeepspaceontheside) in the past months that my motivation and joy to teach literature came back full force – so I couldn't help to include some of these works in my seminar.
