So the child groomers at the Walt Disney Company decided to gay up the Toy Story franchise, and it not only laid an egg here in America, it bombed all over the world. Gee, what a shock.

The experts who watch the box office said Lightyear would gross $70 to $85 million domestic and do another $50 to $60 million offshore for a worldwide opening of $135 million. It uh, it didn't come close lol.

First Pixar decided to dump Tim Allen, the original actor who made Buzz Lightyear an animation superstar over his Conservative values. Then they replaced him with king of the soy boys, Chris Evans. Finally they changed Buzz’s iconic look and kowtowed to the Rainbow Mafia, making the film supa dupa gay for it’s Pride month release date.

Lightyear reportedly cost $200 million to produce, and you know the predators at Disney must have spent at least another $100 million for worldwide promotion. That’s a $300 million price tag, which means Lightyear will have to gross around $550 to $650 million worldwide just to break even, which seems pretty unlikely. Do you have any idea how insane and out-of-touch Disney must be to invest $300 million in a movie that includes homosexuality? And not just any kind of movie—a children’s movie. And not just any kind of children’s movie, a Toy Story movie!

Lol okay I’ll write out their trademark toxicity😂 This one will be a more fluffy version of their relationship. Like the actual relationship part.

(Occurred to me when I finished this that you may have meant canon as in “boyfriends in Oz” whereas I wrote boyfriends out of Oz. If I misinterpreted, because I think that would be cool to write and even if you don’t want it I may write it anyway, just reask “Beecher X Keller in Oz”. I just get a lot of out of Oz asks so it’s my default.)

Okay so they’re finally boyfriends. Fuck Schillinger. Fuck Oz. They belong to each other.

They’re a very kissy couple. Some couples are very cuddly some are very huggy, I think they’re very kissy.

They like to say hello with a kiss. Chris leaning down to kiss Beecher’s head. Beecher kissing Keller’s neck to get his attention. Kissing each other’s hands and every single finger just to feel one another.

Holly is VERY protective of her dad. She immediately distrusts Keller. He initially tries to win her trust like he would any woman’s. He buys her a bracelet with lots of charms (they’re like lipstick and nail polish charms and she doesn’t like it at all). Realizing his error, he gets her a new bracelet with the Arsenal cannon on it and a soccer ball. Better, but she’s still uneasy.

Beecher doesn’t want to tell her about his relationship with Keller. He thinks it might confuse her after her mom and Gary’s death. What confuses her is the ambiguity.

One day, Beecher is dressing upstairs. Keller comes in and sees only Holly. He tries to make small talk, asking about school, but she stops him.

“Look, I know you like my dad the way my mom liked my dad. I know what gay is. If you’re gonna be his boyfriend, we have some ground rules.”

Keller can’t stifle a laugh. She’s very serious and perceptive for her age.

“Okay, Holly. That’s fair. What’re your terms?”😂

“Keep the sex quiet.”

Keller barks a loud laugh and nods his head. Seemed fair. She started talking about her dad and how he was a nice guy. Keller agreed. He sat down with her, handed her a pen and paper, and told her to draft all her terms for him. He’s grinning ear to ear. At least the kid was talking to him.

Beecher comes down to a full constitutional write up of all their rights and responsibilities.

“I need something to call you.”

“Chris.”

“But you’re an adult.” She shook her head. “‘Dad’ and ‘dad’ will get too confusing. How about ‘Dad’ and ‘Pop’. You’ll be Pop.”

He’s genuinely honored by this. He shakes her hand and signs the form. He reads the byline at the bottom. Take care of my dad, please.

After that, they become a family of three.

Keller really buckles down and gets to know Beecher.

He knows how Beecher likes his steak (medium) and when Holly isn’t around, makes jokes like “who doesn’t like a hot pink center”, which Beecher always rolls his eyes to.

Keller is picky about vegetables. He hates them “Al dente”. Loves his broccoli and Brussels sprouts to be cooked through completely.

Keller’s a steak and potatoes guy, but Beecher likes to try new things so suddenly all his food has balsamic reductions and lemon Parmesan this and soy sauce and honey that. Keller would be just as happy with salt and pepper.

Keller’s nicknames for Beecher: Beech Ball, Toby, Tobes, Tobert (don’t ask), sweet lips, Goldie locks, baby, love.

Beecher’s nicknames for Keller: Chris, Chrissy (playful), Topher (Chris hates this one), bright eyes, and the classic babe.

Chris likes to do this thing where in public, he’ll narrate other people’s conversations to Beecher, usually making them outlandish or completely sexual. Beecher is usually telling him to stop through tears of laughter. 😆

Beecher is a window shopper. Loves seeing things at the mall and going “ooh! Let’s go see that! What? I just wanna look.”

Holly and Chris usually side eye each other and take bets on how long he’ll really be.

“Ten minutes.”

“I’ll take thirty, pop.”

“You’re on.”

Keller has an unresolved sweet tooth. He’ll tell Beecher to go get the essentials at the store, guiding Holly to go with him.

“We’re just gonna go look at the toys.” -Chris, sly smile not fooling anyone.

“No candy, Chris. I’ve got dinner in the crock pot.” -Tobias, lover of Pinterest crock pot recipes.

“I just wanna go see the Minecraft legos, dad.” -Holly, already thinking of the candy spree Chris is gonna take her on.

When they come back, Chris and Holly have a cart filled with gummy coke bottles, M&Ms (peanut, regular, peanut butter, and caramel), caramel apple lollipops, and all the fun bubble gums.

Toby rolls his eyes as Chris and Holly high five.

They get a small karaoke machine for the house for when Holly has her friends over. The boys get more use out of it than she does.

“I’ll tell you what I want what ai really really want!” -Toby

“So tell me what you want what you really really want!” -Chris

“Dad. Pop. Stop.” -Holly

Both are dads that do not get embarrassed easily.

Before Holly and Adebayo officially start dating, Chris notices the two of them saying goodbye when he and Toby pick her up from school.

“It’ll be funny.” Chris insists.

“Not to Holly.” Beecher reasoned, smiling the whole time.

“Im doing it.” Chris lays on the horn to get Holly’s attention. She and Ade turn to the car where Chris yells out; “Holly! Who’s your cute friend?”

Holly and Ade turn bright red and Beecher and Keller crack up in the car. Holly is not amused.

“You two need help.”

Couples costumes are fun. Surprisingly, Beecher’s the one who needs to be convinced.

“I’ll be Han. You can be Leia.”

“Pass.”

“Indiana Jones and Marian?”

“Why is it always Harrison Ford with you?”

“…The Fugitive? I’ll be Kimble, you be… his kid.”

They alternate picking movies. They have strong opinions.

“Chris, I will break up with you if you call Die Hard a Christmas movie again.”

“Takes place during Christmas, don’t it? Check and mate, bitch.”

Forces Keller to watch one of their favorite movies together; A Fish Called Wanda (1988).

“I’m like Cleese and you’re like Curtis, right?” -Chris

“Cleese, the bumbling innocent lawyer and Curtis the manipulative flirty criminal? Yeah, you’re the chick this time, buddy.” -Toby

“Who’s Kline?” -Chris

“…Robson.” -Toby

They both crack up.

They show Holly their favorite 80s movies and then struggle to explain the problematic stuff.

“So she didn’t know it was him, and he had sex with her? Idk guys, it’s not a good look at least.”

Both have their heads in their hands by the end, unable to speak.

Chris works lots of nights and Beecher works during the day, but they always make time for each other. Beecher goes to Keller’s bar and sits at the end. Chris comes to deliver lunch to Toby at work.

Their show together is Cheers. Keller likes Sam Malone and Beecher likes Frazier. Holly watch’s with them and likes Lilith.

“If I were Sam, I’d stop wasting my time on Diane and Rebecca and jump the bones of the cute intellectual that comes in every day.” Keller says, leaning into Beecher and licking his ear. Toby blushes.

“Cute bad boys look like his type.”

“Cute?”

“Shut up, baby.” Toby laughs.

“Guys.” Holly interjects with a monotone. “Get several rooms, please.”

They do “the switch” every time they go out for food.

Keller gets the croutons on Beecher’s salad and Beecher gets the tomato on Keller’s burger.

One time, Beecher orders a ribeye, medium and it comes out rare. Beecher can’t eat it but refuses to call over their server, as he doesn’t want to “bother her”. Keller can’t contain his laughter.

“Just tell her to cook it more, it’s not that big a deal.”

“Yeah, but she’ll just feel like she messed up and it’s really not her fault.”

“Babe, your steak is still mooing.”

“Chris, it’s fine. I’ll eat it like this.” Cuts off a piece and goes to take a bite when he hears Keller moo softly from his seat. “Chris, I swear to God.”

Keller is still mooing softly and Beecher is kicking him under the table when the server comes over to ask how things are.

“Burger is cooked to perfection. We need a couple more minutes on the steak though, hon”. Keller lets her know, informing Beecher’s blushing face.

Every time a restaurant gets Toby’s order wrong, Keller is the one to ask for the right thing.

Keller and Holly play video games together. They start off with Call of Duty and move onto Halo. She even gets him into Minecraft.

“Punch that tree.”

“Punch? The tree?”

“That’s how you get wood until you build an axe.”

One day, Chris walks into Holly crying at her desk. Apparently some older kids completely ransacked her base.

Keller is livid.

Joins the world and makes it his personal mission to track them down and make them pay.

He finds their camp and waits for night to completely take it down. He brought buckets of lava, kept his inventory empty to take Holly’s stuff back, and even lures a hoard of monsters to their home and lets them through the gates.

He waits for them to rebuild and then he just tears it down again. He does this every day for a month. By the end, there’s a chest at the front labeled: “For KillerKeller1998, please stop destroying our stuff.”

Keller gives Holly the coordinates and they build her base back together. She’s got more than before.

“That’s what you’ve got to do, Hols. Every time they take from you, you take double from them. Until they can’t afford to keep picking on you.”☠️

Keller dresses up like Santa on Christmas. It’s not fooling Holly in the slightest but she plays along because she knows it makes them happy.

After they put Holly to bed, Tobias makes them hot chocolate downstairs.

“If you add ginger it’s supposed to bring out the flavor.”

“Another Pinterest hack?”

“…shut up.”

Keller forces Beecher to sit on his lap and tell him what he wants for Christmas.

Beecher’s laughing quietly the whole time just so Holly can sleep.

“C’mon, I’m serious.” He slaps his thighs. “Park it here, baby, I wanna make that holiday wish come true.”

Beecher sits on his lap, still giggling and supporting both of their hot chocolates by now.

“And what would you like, little boy?” Keller boomed for effect.

“Toy fire truck.” 🚒

“Fuck you, what do you really want?”

“Pretty sure Santa doesn’t say fuck you.”

“He does when someone’s spitting bullshit. What do you want?”

Tobias thought for a second, touching his hair and rubbing around his eyes. Chris knows he’s trying not to cry.

“I just… I don’t want this to be a dream. I don’t want to wake up back in Oz.”

Keller drops the act and holds his boyfriend.

“We got each other, we got Holly, that’s the most important thing.”

Beecher and Keller are two doofus dads just trying to give Holly the best life.

For every holiday, they do something special. For Christmas, it’s watching old movies in their pjs. For Halloween it’s watching scary movies and teasing Beecher. For Mardi Gras, Keller hops to the roof and throws beads off for her.

Beecher always finds couples activities for them. Like he asks Keller to take him swing dancing. Keller thinks its stupid as fuck but Beecher flashes those puppy eyes and Keller just can’t say no.

Keller complains like a bitch the whole first lesson, and Toby stops off in a huff. Holly lets him know he fucked up.

“He bought those oxfords specifically for that class.”

Keller talks to Beecher about it, and Beecher is a little heated at first. Keller tries goofing him out of it.

“Your honor, I would like to present the case that one Christopher Keller is not that big an ass.”

Toby’s giggling again, and Chris pulls him onto his lap and kisses his forehead.

Toby admits he had a crush on James Dean and thought the idea of Keller in a leather jacket swing dancing with him was sexy.

Beecher comes home the next day to find Keller there, in jeans and a leather jacket, cigarette hanging off his lips, smirk on his face.

Good god he almost spontaneously ejaculated.

Keller treats him right the whole night, takes him swing dancing, and even finds a fifties Pop a Top open, and grabs hot dogs and Cokes after.

They’re in the booth, and Beecher is cuddling Keller.

“Thanks, Dean.” He whispers.

“Yeah, yeah.” Keller takes a bite of his hot dog. “So when’re you gonna dress up like Michelle Pfeiffer for me?”

Beecher actually does on Keller’s birthday. Long satin number like in Scarface. Keller is speechless.

Neither proposes to the other. They’re happy in their domestic partnership, a ring is just a ring, right?

Well, one night, after dinner, Holly makes a PowerPoint presentation to show them.

“This is why we make a good family.”

Holly takes them through their relationship and everything they’ve done as a family.

Keller and Beecher are holding hands, looking at pictures of themselves on birthdays and anniversaries.

They laugh at Keller holding a snake at Beecher’s face on a wildlife preservation. They cry at Keller seeing Gary’s grave for the first time because Beecher wanted them to meet.

Holly concludes the presentation with a picture of all three of them together at a restaurant. Beecher’s stealing Keller’s fries and Keller is giving Holly a noogie.

“Holly, that’s lovely.”

“Yeah, thanks, kid.”

“So… do it.”

They’re both still a little confused. Holly rolls her eyes and pulls out two rings. They’re cracker jack box rings. They’re engraved. “I love you, dad”. She admits she spent her allowance on the engravings.

“Like in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Daddy, sing moon river.”

The guys are a little stunned. They just keep exchanging looks. Keller breaks first, laughing his goddamn ass off.

“The balls on this kid.” -*has never been prouder* turns to Beecher with a grin on his face. “How bout it, hon. Wanna get married?”

Beecher is speechless. Keller and Holly just keep looking at him expectantly.

“Of course. I… thank you, Holly.”

Later that night, they’re about to go to bed, and Keller stops Beecher and hands him some legal papers.

“Divorcing me already? I’ll be the first Ex Mr Keller.”

“Shut up and read, dummy.”

“I… these are adoption papers.”

“Didn’t want to tell the kid before I ran it by you first. In case you weren’t on board. I’d understand. I still want to marry you, Tobes. But I want everything that comes with that.”

“You…”

“I want to marry you and legally adopt Holly. What’s so damn difficult to understand?”

Beecher thinks about this for a second. He’d never considered that Keller wanted to adopt Holly.

“You realize… if we split… if I wanted to… I could get child support from you?”

“Yes.”

“That doesn’t… that’s not a thought in your mind? I’m giving you free legal advice.”

Keller smiles his shark like grin.

“We’re not gonna split so it’s not a concern.”

“But if we do-“

“Then it would be an honor to get to help raise her, even through child support. She’s an amazing kid, Tobes.”

“Chris, I’m just… this is legal adoption. You can’t just be done with it whenever-“

Chris is on his feet, nose to nose with Beecher, but it’s not threatening.

“I’m not ever gonna be done with you, Toby. Or Holly. You guys gave me a life. I want both of you to be mine. Legally. Visit you guys in the hospital or go on trips as a family. Share my healthcare with you guys and provide for you. She wants two dads right? Not just one dad and dad’s boyfriend? Then I want all of it. All the rights and responsibilities of my child.”

Beecher and Keller spoon all night, talking it over. But Beecher’s already said yes. Because Keller called her “my child”.

He they take Holly to the movies and then to the fair. Keller wins her a bigass squishmallow shaped like a frog. They buy her popcorn and cokes all day!

“Am I dying guys?”

They take Holly aside and give her the space to respond however she’s going to.

“Holly?”

“Yeah, pop?”

Keller’s never been so nervous in his life.

Beecher starts.

“First of all, I want to make it clear. If this isn’t something you want, it’s not something that’s going to happen. And if you say no, you’re not changing anything. Chris and I are still getting married.”

“Jesus, what? You’re scaring me.”

Chris gets her attention and holds her hand.

“Holly, I’ve never had any kids. You’re the first. But I want you to really be the first. There are certain legal and medical benefits to this.”

“Just say what you want to say.”

“I… I want to legally adopt you so that Toby and I have equal rights over you. Medical decisions. Emergency contact. Custody if we ever… well,” he smiled to himself. “No point worrying about what’s not gonna happen. Point is, ball’s in your court. Or… goalie box? I don’t know a thing about soccer. Whatever you want.”

“So like, if I skipped school they’d call you?”

“Yeah.”

“And if I had a stomach ache and dad was busy you could come and get frosties with me?”

“Not sure how a frosty would help a stomach ache, but yeah sure.”

“And when kids at school say you’re not my real dad or I can’t have two dads I can just be like uh no, stupid, it’s legal.”

“You can do that anyway, but again, sure.”

She lunges into his arms and hugs her new *official* dad.

He adopts her a week before the wedding. (So her adoption day could be its own special day)

She’s their ring bearer. Holly insisted on wearing a suit to match her dads’.

It’s a nice, simple church wedding.

Toby finds Chris in back of the Church after service. He looks upset.

“Remember when I said I wish God would choose me.”

“I do recall.”

“I think he did.”

Toby smiles and pulls his husband over into his arms. He kisses the new Mr. Keller-Beecher on the head.

OMG an AU where Joel and Doc are together and go see Bill and Frank? Amazing. There are so many parallels here. Frank loves Doc immediately, of course. They're both so happy for a new friend and Frank LOVES that she wears ribbons in her hair and makes her go with him to the boutique to go shopping because, in his words, "I was a little gay boy who wasn't allowed to have Barbies as a child, give me this." Bill and Joel kind of look at each other like "dear lord what have we brought upon ourselves."

But then she charms Bill, too. She has her secrets in the kitchen - like the soy sauce instead of salt in the cookies - and they get down into the nitty gritty of it, geeking out over their shared passion. After Joel and Doc leave Frank looks at Bill and kinda elbows him a little and goes "See? Wasn't so bad." "Guess not. Don't know how she puts up with him, though." Frank kind of shakes his head at the obvious similarities I'm their relationship sailing right over Bill's head. "Good question."

I have a lot of specific hcs about them (mostly because I'm slowly stealing them to turn them into OCs for... something) so here's a little rundown in their story! (Let's hope it's actually little!!)

AKA long post weird AU you released a beast (me infodumping)

When they're tiny:

They met when they're 12 at their new school: Owynn moved because of bullying (the kids used to make fun of him bc he was tall/redhead/has heterocromia and even cut his hair, that's why he has it very short now) and Freddy moved to a whole new country (from Spain to wherever fhs happens). Freddy is Mexican while Owynn's dad is swedish (he was not born there)

They find eachother to be very weird but share many tastes and life events, like the bullying and missing a parent (Owynn is more direct and likes to insult his mom while Freddy doesn't talk abt it- Ow didn't even knew he had an adoptive dad).

They form a music duo for the spring event, since they were such good friends maybe they could work together well! Also Freddy acts kinda weird and sometimes forgets they have rehearsals after-hours but it doesn't matter bc he says sorry and he's cute!!

There's a whole drama with Owynn's parents in the middle of that but i wont bore you with that (unless you want me to)

Anyways the event happens Owynn can't come in time so Freddy goes alone and he wins but ow feels betrayed and blah blah blah they're enemies now and he hates Freddy (a 12 years old kid with a lot of mental troubles for that age)

Bc yes Fred is there but Owynn ofc didn't know, even if he actually talked very often with him too. In fact is kinda his fault Fred makes fun of Freddy so much (He's mad he lost his only best friend 🥺)

(Guess who remembers the rehearsals and the songs and owen cursing his mom)

Middle part where we watch Owynn go insane:

Literally. They kinda hate everyone but their dad now.

Moved school again, classmate with Abby and company actually! (Tho y'know abby she's... insane) so they don't talk. Also the Nightmares used to live closer to that school so they bullied him there until Owynn broke all of Onnie's teeth.

They meet Ttrap too: he's older in my AU (while ow is 15 he would be 17), he tries to get Owynn to therapy bc it's really fucking weird/sad he only talks abt Freddy or abt how much they dislike themself so. Yeah. He succeds and Owynn gets... to move schools again, yay!!

Ow starts developing schizoprenia, doesn't get the diagnosis until very later. (Prodomal stage/negative symptoms rn)

Also kinda starts discovering himself (being gay/nonbinary, doesn't really ditch the he/him pronouns until much later). Also dyes their hair purple

I don't have recent drawings of cringy sad 15y/o owen

What would equal the 1st season of the series:

Freddy moves to the HS and says his funny discourse (qué? Que quién soy yo? 🤓) Who would've though a certain kid that hates him was there to see it and died right there.

After realizing they share classroom Owynn pressures Ttrap into changing them to another one, hides his freckles/dyes his hair a darker color/uses normal glasses to not be recognized. Explaining his absence from the 1st season /j

So we have time to look at Freddy. He's struggling, Fred is being annoying; they explode at the camp where Freddy bumps into Owen who tells him to fuck off and never talk to them bc they hate him and Freddy says: "who are you?" to them. :D

Fred facepalms and takes control of the body.

Owynn develops his plan to destroy Freddy's band or whatever. Also dyes his hair again.

2nd season!!

And Owynn is in full delusional mode. The whole 'boss' thing is Eak and Ttrap going along with them so they can decompress lol

He does his little introduction and dumb plans to sabotage that obviously don't work at the end but they're actually very good bc he... actually does know what he's doing (making usagi & loon have trouble/separate golden from the group/the whole Toys thing)

But eventually it doesn't matter/the spring event thing happens ; Owynn gets hit by a car and breaks their arm

The secret 3rd season // last school year

Owynn goes back to lay low, gets his schizophrenia diagnosis so therapy+meds!! Good for them!

Freddy gets the therapy+meds combo too! Fred is chilling now :]

So Freddy now attempts to talk to Owynn but they run away from him to not cause him trouble anymore. And that goes for a while until they talk it out: They'll get time to talk alone, but Freddy also wants them to meet the rest of his band so they can get friends, Owynn accepts; but isn't a fan lf the idea.

Eventually they fall in love again (fall? Ow never stopped liking him honestly) and they date. But it takes a very long time to get there but they're so very lovely <3

ALSO yes Fred and Owynn also fix their relationship, they're besties again <3

Do you have a sense of direction and if not what’s the worst way you’ve gotten lost? - oooh you know what, I'm pretty good with maps and am quite proud of it haha, I did the directions for dad when I was 11 and we had like a week long road trip. that's not to say I've not had the dumbest way of getting lost though— was on a multi-day camping hiking trip this summer and literally FORGOT to bring a map, which is still fine as long as I had my phone but then MY PHONE DIED in the middle of a really fucking long day and then there was a military zone diversion and I couldn't find the fucking path and had to trek on the ROADS for like 2 hrs but then this rly nice man gave me a lift to the next town and all was well.

❆ SEATTLE (ep3): dinner @ Noi

Our 1st meal in Seattle~

Noi Thai Cuisine, located at: 1303 1st Ave.

The interior was VERY dark! We quickly realized that Noi was more like a pub/lounge type of place. They are family-friendly; however, the atmosphere screamed date night or catch-up sesh with friends type of place.

Let’s take a look at the dinner menu (we happened to just miss the happy hr menu).

oooooOOh interesting.

I know the menu text is too small for you to actually read, but I still included them here so you can get a sense of how ‘fancy’ they are haha the pictures are all coloured & the menu paper is nice & glossy.

They have a very good description of what each dish is underneath the name of the dish.

Honestly, the menu was more like a food magazine than a menu :P

Ahh. .. finally entering the noodle/rice section.

This is probably the section that was most familiar to me.

Noi also offers a number of vegetarian dishes.

We ordered our food & it came out pretty fast, despite the place being very busy!

The appetizer sampler~ Not gonna lie, DL & I were both intrigued by the ‘egg shell presentation’ lol but we also wanted to try other appetizers so the sampler was the best option. Let’s take a look at each part individually.

A. Crab wontons. Super crispy & filled with *real* crab meat (& cream cheese). The filling was creamy but had thin bits of crab meat.

B. Thai-style shrimp cakes. I’m a loyal fish cake girl so this shrimp cake . .. I was quite indifferent abut it. I was imagining something like the shrimp-stuffed bell peppers or eggplants that you could get at dimsum, where the shrimp is bouncy. But this fell short of that- there was a mushiness to it bcos the shrimp paste was made into some sort of paste/batter, rather than a primarily-shrimp paste. Does that make sense? Anyway, I though it’d be pure shrimp but it wasn’t, & I felt a little cheated.

C. Crispy taro rolls. This was better than expected. I thought it only had taro inside but it had some shrimp or prawn mixed in it as well!

D. Cock-A-Doodle-Doo. (Negligible) hint of spiciness from the tom yum bisque with deep fried prawn (bits) & tobiko. Sooooo sooo creamy mixed with crunchy & ‘popping’ textures. This was very satisfying from a textural perspective.

Of the 4 items, my order of preference: C > D > A > B.

Honestly opinion about the 4 items in general. .. I didn’t really get much “Thai” flavour in any of the 4 items :S I feel like these things could be ordered from any western restaurant, especially with more & more western pub/lounge places offering Asian-inspired appetizers/flavours. Wonderful presentation but altogether, not bad, but not great. I would recommend getting the Cock-A-Doodle-Doo on its own if you were to come here. It is different & I think it’s worth a try!

From our personal Thai cuisine experiences, we have not seen/heard of this milky soup, so we decided to try it. The appearance looked so creamy & harmless, but this soup actually had quite a sharp flavour to it! Nevermind the ingredients used (nothing spectacular about it) but the soup was like WOWWW! Very citrus-y & strong lemongrass flavour will hit you first, & then it fades, & that’s when the subtle coconut flavour comes out. I really liked it!

Clay Pot Crab with Glass Noodles. (they say glass noodles but it’s the thin clear vermicelli noodles that you often find in spring rolls, aka cellophane noodles, not the stuff you use for japchae)

“A century old Thai favorite dish includes a combination of spiced crab, bacon, ginger, cilantro, white pepper on top of stir-fried glass noodle with our delicious homemade sauce.” The sauce was too zesty-spicy for me, so I actually didn’t eat the noodles with the sauce, but others might like it. I wasn’t a big fan of this dish; flavour was good (but did not scream “Thai” to me.. . honestly, it was just like a stir-fry that one could make at home using soy sauce + fish sauce), & abundant crab meat (more than I had expected!)... the biggest concern was the noodles =/ it was stiff! You know when you cook noodles sometimes & then it cools .. . & then it becomes dry & takes the form of the bowl? Well, this was like that. The noodles weren’t loose; it was stuck together. You literally needed to CUT a section out bcos using fork/chopsticks to take some was nearly impossible (you’d be taking out all the noodles with you). I was disappointed by this.. .

So yeah. .. ummm .. lol not the best 1st meal. However, the soup was very delicious & enjoyable!

Fun fact: they are a popular stopover spot for Thai Airways crew!

Personality: the first thing people notice about me is that I am less of a feeler and more of a thinker. I do have an IQ of 125, but my emotional intelligence is quite low, so I have trouble sympathizing with others. But I learned through experience, so I don’t SEEM emotionless. I can (and will) help my friends through tough times if they need me. I’m pragmatic, so I always go for the facts instead of the feelings during decision making or tough situations. I hold a lot of perfectionist traits that make it really hard for me to be satisfied with my results if they aren’t higher than the norm. I also have a slight issue with saying no, so sometimes I’ll offer my help or enrol myself in long-term projects while knowing I legit do not have time for more stuff on my schedule. Being a bit smarter than average, I sometimes feel like I’m obligated to help others so that they can do good too (however, I do like helping people with their hw to a certain extent). I’m working on those issues though!! I’m also an introvert, and I can get rlly tired if I have to be interacting for more than four hours straight with people, especially if their persona isn’t rlly compatible with mine.

However, when I’m surrounded by friends (or generally people who aren’t my superiors), I’m very energetic, loud, silly and I have a sharp tongue. I’m also insanely competitive, like someone please stop me?? My sense of humour goes from absolute nonsense to almost mean spirited sarcasm, but it all depends on who I’m talking to. I’m a MAJOR memer, I have a bunch of files filled with them, and I couldn’t bear be with people who didn’t understand my meme references. When I start liking something, I can get easily obsessed. I’m stubborn, therefore very passionate about the things I care about. I also have a slight case of the Endorphin Junkie, meaning that I really, really like the high you get after sports so I do crossfit training like five to six times a week. I’m unapologetically myself, and I will not ever change who I am to fit within the norm. I’m sometimes told that (that I’m odd, I mean), but I usually thank the people who tell me. I have a really, really big love for music and I have a tendency to break into song sometimes when people say a line from a song I know. I also cry sometimes when music gets really good ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ whoops

Appearance: I’m around 5’6”, with hazel eyes and brown hair that goes around to my shoulders. It gets curly out of nowhere. I can either wake up with straight hair or wake up with a freakin perm, it’s funny. My body isn’t exactly the lean type, I’m somewhere around the buff area of the scale instead, but as long as I seem visibly strong, I’m satisfied. The class 1-A were all gathered in their common room, even Bakugou was present. The class was having a truth or dare session, it seemed interesting. “Sero, my man! Truth or dare?” Denki asked as he looked at Sero. “Truth! I choose truth,” Sero said. “Who have you been talking on the phone to this past weeks? The one I keep hearing is my pumpkin?” Denki asked. Sero’s face then turned a light shade of pink. “O-Oh- ummm,” He started as he looked away. “Does our Cellophane have a girlfriend?” Mina teased as she poked Sero. “Y-Yeah,” He stuttered. “OI THAT’S NOT FAIR?!? WHY CAN YOU HAVE A GIRL BUT I CAN’T,” Denki sulked as he placed his head on the table. “If you weren’t such a perv then maybe you can get one!” Hakagure responded.

“Don’t be shy. Tell us more,” Mina said. Sero’s blush darkened and he looked away. “We are playing truth or dare! It’s my turn to ask,” Sero then said. “Actually, I am quite curious as well. We can always continue later,” Momo said as she smiled. Everyone agreed and they then looked at the nervous male. “C��mon now guys, this is unfair,” Sero said as he looked at everyone. “But you have a girl and we want tea,” Mina then said as she sat in front of him. “I- um, you guys really want to know about her, huh?” Sero said as he chuckled. Everyone nodded and stared at Sero intently. “Just tell us already, Soy sauce,” Bakugou growled as he glared at Sero. “Don’t listen to him, bro. He is just jealous,” Kirishima said. “WHAT-“ Bakugou was about to counter but was silenced. “Fine! Fine! Soon enough, Mineta tried to touch her as well but his efforts were at vain. Sero used his tape as to stop Mineta from getting closer. And Eve kicked him away, far away from her. “Get your filthy hands away from her,” Sero said as he stood up. He then wrapped his arms around her and kissed her forehead. “Woah, that was so manly!” Kirishima said as he smiled.

“GIRLS! GET HER-“ Mina said as she tackled the girl. They didn’t fall down but Mina was laughing and hugging her. “Girl! How long have you been together?” Mina asked as she pulled away. Eve was a bit uncomfortable but she merely had a stoic face. “A few weeks,” She responded bluntly. And soon enough, the truth or dare session was forgotten. It was replace with the class 1-A trying to pry out the tea from the couple. Did they succeed? No, not really. Though the class seemed to love Eve and her antics. The class even tried to make them forget about the date they have planned. But either way, Sero and Eve got manage to get away to have their small movie date at his room.

2! I was born with a raised mole/birthmark thing on my left shoulder that became so sensitive that I had to get it surgically removed and I have a pretty thick scar from that. I don’t know if this second one counts but when I was 5 i accidentally stabbed myself in the stomach with a pencil i had just sharpened and the mark is still there

So First the FESTIVAL, I see a lot of people asking where The F*ck the Festival would take place?? Don’t worry here’s the answer

The Festival is going to be in el RECINTO VALDEBEBAS-IFEMA!!! This year is gonna be bigger than others and IT’S AN OPEN VENUE!!!!

As you can see It’s a little far away from the centre so my recommendation for you is to stay NEAR THE CENTRE, we have really good connections to the Festival so don’t worry (transport would be my next point) 

Others festivals take place in the same venue, here some pics of last year Mad Cool Festival, I think the Coca-Cola Festival will look something like this: 

TRANSPORT

Madrid has good connections so PUBLIC TRANSPORT  is your Friend!!!

First METRO MADRID (The Tube) Line 8 have a stop in the festival called “FERIA DE MADRID” 

You’ll have to go to the station called “NUEVOS MINISTERIOS” and there take LINE 8 

Don’t Forget!! Your Stop is FERIA DE MADRID!!! 

And When The Tube Closed???? You’ll have time!! Metro Madrid opens at 6.00 am and closed at 1.30 am 

What type of ticket I’ll need? You’ll need a card “Tarjeta Multi” it’s rechargeable!! you could use it for the tube, the bus, train. It looks like this: 

You can buy it in the automatic machines in every metro station!! and it cost 2.50 euros

You can put in there: single tickets, 10 travels tickets or TOURISTIC  TICKETS (best option for you I think: YOU WILL NEED A TICKET FOR ZONE 1 Only AND ONE DAY COSTS 8.40 euros, TWO DAYS = 14.20 euros, THREE DAYS= 18.40 euros... the max is seven days)

IMPORTANT: THE AIRPORT SUPPLEMENT IS INCLUDED IN THE TOURISTIC TICKETS!!!

- Go to Plaza Mayor and Mercado de San Miguel, then have a walk to Puerta del Sol!! 

- Have a nice walk to GRAN VIA, there are a lot of shops and One of the biggest PRIMARK in the world is there. (Five floors - open from 9:30 to 22:00 every day)

- Plaza de Cibeles and Palacio de Cibeles. 

Others: 

- Terrace of El Circulo de Bellas Artes in Calle Alcala next to Gran Vía. You would be able to see the city. It costs 4 euros and it’s open from 9:00 to 02:00am) 

- Plaza de España

- Puerta de Alcalá. 

- Park El Retiro: There you could have a nice ride in a small boat (it’s only until 19:00). There you should visit El Palacio de Cristal. (Crystal palace) 

- If you are rich and want to buy some Gucci bags (like Harry jijij) La Milla de Oro is your place. It’s in the neighbourhood Salamanca - Calles Serrano, Ortega Y Gasset, Velazquez... 

- Chueca (Our gay District !!!) is colourful and beautiful. You will have fun there!!

- Want to have a drink on a nice terrace while you swim! Also amazing view of Madrid: 

Hotel Oscar Room Mate (Plaza de Vazquez de Mella, 12) It’s in Chueca and its an IT place to be! You could stay all-day having fun for like 25 euros (M-T) (F-S / 50 euros) 

Hotel Emperador (Gran Vía, 33): M-T = 38 euros / Friday and weekend = 48 euros. 

Gimnasio Gymage (Corredera Baja de San Pablo, 2) Yes, It’s a GYM but also you can have lunch there and go to their terrace. It’s in Malasaña, it's like 15 euros. (and yes I go a lot lmao) (que mamarracha soy lol)

growing up in small town wisconsin hanna didn’t ever really plan on going to a college like columbia. 

number one she doubted her own ability to get into an ivy league university, despite being heavily involved in extra curricular programs and having very good grades she never thought it was going to be enough to earn her a place in such a prestigious institution

number two she kind of always thought she’d stay closer to home, maybe the university of wisconsin or something in chicago. she’s incredibly close with her family, having grown up with most of her extended family living in her hometown or at least quite close to her hometown 

but all the same she applied, her driving motivation being columbia’s brilliant environmental science research programs. she’d been an avid environmentalist since she was a tween. a vegetarian since she was eleven, a vegan since she was fourteen, and even trying her best to live as waste free as possible from time to time ( senior year she’s not very focused on it because it takes a lot of time that she doesn’t have between study and work but she still tries a lil )

she’s a very old soul, heavily influenced by the fact that she grew up living with her grandparents. she loves reading, is always carrying a book in her bag if not several. she dresses pretty modestly but thats a comfort thing more than like a wanting to be modest thing lmao. big introvert but not shy, she will absolutely tell you to go fuck yourself if you’re annoying her even slightly

Now, let’s talk about K-pop groups you may or may not know about. 2012 brought a wave of awesome new groups. I was fairly new to the K-pop scene so I just went exploring and discovering new groups and boy am I glad I did that, because now I can tell you all about these hidden gems:

Debuts

So in this year, Gangnam Style happened, yeah everyone knows that bUT DO YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE HAPPENED??? YEAH, THAT’S RIGHT, B.A.P DEBUTED!!! They were amazing, ruthless, powerful, just wow, no wonder they became my ultimate group right away cause did you see their debut MV?? Bunny aliens that invade the earth to save their dying planet?! it was wild y’all Also you should definitely watch Bang&Zelo’s Never Give Up, although it was released in 2011 I’m still gonna mention it here, because it was that good.

Debut: Warrior - B.A.P 

Another debut that many people may know is that of EXO. Before their real debut, they actually had released some mv’s like History (y’know “enjoy the mayo”).  I don’t know what it is with aliens this year but they seem to like this concept because also EXO turned out to be aliens with special superpowers from a dying planet named EXOPlanet. Y’all know GOT7? Then y’all must have heard about JJ Project a.k.a JB and Junior!! Jaebum and Jinyoung appeared in the k-drama Dream High 2 just before their actual debut, and boy did I LOVE Dream High 2. So obviously I was sToKeD for their debut, and they didn’t let me down. You should definitely also listen to Hooked.

Debut: Bounce - JJ Project

Let’s talk about my humongous crush on Jung Ilhoon, shall we? That boy man entranced me from the very first beginning. BTOB’s debut was wow, ilhoon was wow, I was wow. I remember watching their MTV Diary late at night, I watched them all and my mom got mad lol but I was so so so into BTOB, and along with B.A.P, they were my ultimate favourites. (pssst.. MTV Diary BTOB is still one of the best reality shows out there, i’m not saying you should watch it but i think you should, they are absolute crackheads)

VIXX debuted with Super Hero and they had a comeback the same year with Rock Ur Body. Both VERY good songs and that’s why I’m so mad it isn’t on Spotify, this was my jam y’all, why you gotta do this to me, just put in on Spotify please. They actually have more songs from their earlier days that aren’t on Spotify :((

Okay, then AOA happened. I absolutely LOVE their debut song, 10/10, chef’s kiss, just listen. Till this day Elvis and Get Out are my favourite AOA songs.

DO YOU KNOW C-CLOWN??? YOU SHOULD cause without this group we wouldn’t have that frickin’ handsome hot sexy Aussie dude named CHristian Yu, insta: @/dprian (thought i was gonna say Bang Chan or Felix? ¬‿¬)  They debuted with Solo but you should rather watch Far Away Young Love, this mv is so good, the story line, the song, the boys… 12/10. Sadly they disbanded back in 2015 and all the members went their own way. Christian founded DPR, and “Maru” or simply Jaejun debuted again in 2019 with the group TREI (you should definitely watch their debut mv, i love it so much)

Debut: Solo - C-Clown

Let me tell you about a group that literally said in a song that they “f*ck like a p*rnstar”. Yes, it’s a South-Korean group from 2012 we’re talking about. Big Star. They are iconic, unapologetic, energetic, i freaking love them. They all went to the survival show ‘The Unit’ in 2017 and you may know Feeldog from that. “I rap like a monster and I f*ck like a p*rnstar….my rap always kills the track, at night I always kill the girl” yeah they did that

Debut: Hot Boy - Big Star (this debut is uhh… interesting)

Y’all, this group deserved so much better, I mean, their songs were absolute bops but I guess they were just ahead of their time. The Wonder Boyz! Wonder Boyz were being mistreated by the CEO of their agency, they were assaulted, verbally abused and the CEO allegedly also stole from them, it was horrible to hear this, they had so much potential. I liked how they made the songs theirs, matching it to their unique voices. So far I know they only have two mv’s. After their disbandment, they all went their own way and I’m happy to report that they are doing well. Young Boy changed his stage name into Roscoe, and is now part of DPR (we gang gang), K or Taehyun is now active as Owol (definitely listen to Why), Master One is now known as V-Hawk (Tokki mv) and I don’t really know what happened with Bak Chi Gi but some sites say he became an independent artist.

Shiro first sees Keith at the club at an Arsonists Get All the Girls show and he sees Keith dancing around to the piano breakdown in I Lost My Loss of Ruin. He’s like immediately in love.

He keeps seeing Keith at shows while he’s working, a couple times he even catches him as he comes over the rail from crowdsurfing and he goes into like full gay panic mode. Then Keith gets in a fight in the pit during a Killwhitneydead show--technically it’s Shiro’s job to break it up but he’s totally mesmerized watching Keith take out dudes twice his size. Even though he totally balks on breaking the fight up he’s still obligated to eject all parties involved. But the show is just about over at that point, so he sits outside on the curb with Keith afterwards instead of coming back inside, and gives him a napkin for his bloody nose. Keith is all exhausted and drunk and leaning on Shiro’s shoulder, ready to fall asleep, so Shiro invites him to go get coffee. 

Shiro think he’s cute but he’s constantly scandalized by all the bad metalcore/grindcore/deathcore Keith listens to and he makes it his mission in life to introduce him to the Real Shit. 

One of the first bands he gets Keith to like is Hypocrisy, so the first concert they go see together is Peter Tägtgren’s other band Pain when they’re in town. They’re both pleasantly surprised by how good the show is and how much fun they have. 

They both like 3 Inches of Blood and Shiro FREAKS when he finds out Keith doesn’t know King Diamond, because Shiro is like a HUGE King Diamond nerd and 3 Inches of Blood is so obviously King Diamond inspired it only makes sense that they have a King Diamond & Chill night where Shiro invites him over and makes him popcorn and they listen to Them and Conspiracy while they read along the lyrics. Keith is skeptical at first but it grows on him and by the time Shiro plays Abigail for him later that night he’s like 1000% on board.

Shiro has his own apartment so they have all the sex over there, which means Shiro is usually sex DJ and picks the music that’s on. He’s kinda like into getting rough with kinky black’n’roll playing.

The first time Keith spends the night he wakes up in the morning and Shiro isn’t in bed. It turns out he wakes up crazy early because he sleeps like shit (trauma and such obviously). But it’s really nice because he comes out and Shiro’s just in the kitchen drinking coffee and reading the news and listening to Porcupine Tree and it’s just this like soft little glimpse Keith gets to have at this giant guy that everyone assumes is like exclusively into Dark Heavy Things. (Of course, he’ll soon learn the Super Top Secret Insider Info that metalheads adopted Porcupine Tree so maybe it’s not so shocking, but that he finally found someone who’s secure enough in his identity to chill and listen to soft music kinda makes him think he maybe caught some feels.)

A Rant: Why Can't We Be Friends?

I find it really sad how society has conditioned people to think men and women can't be friends. I'm looking for friends on Tinder and put in my bio that I'm gay af, and this one guy messaged me saying "What can we do then if you like girls? Lol." Several other guys couldn't get past that either because if they can't have sex, they lose interest in developing any kind of relationship. It's sad because being friends with a woman without the expectation of/opportunity to make it sexual is a completely foreign concept, but most women are great friends. Heterosexual men are often too thirsty or too conditioned to believe they couldn't be "just friends" with a woman, so they miss out on the myriad of benefits that come from having one as a friend. Women are so much more valuable then their potential to be sexual partners - we're intelligent, thoughtful, supportive, emotionally intuitive, etc. No one celebrates your birthday? We'll throw you a surprise party with a cake of your favorite superhero, or take you to your favorite sporting event. Or we won't make it a big deal because it's not a big deal to us either, so you won't feel weird about it. Had a bad breakup? We'll listen to you cry, kindly call out both you and your ex, and even give you alphabetized lists of why the relationship went south but why you're still a catch, during a Netflix-binge of your favorite shows and ice cream. Or we'll take you out to get drunk and sing bad karaoke because who needs feelings? Don't take care of yourself? Try our soy latte or green tea, come with us to yoga and find your inner peace. Or hit the court for some basketball, come with us to the batting cages, and get active that way. And those things you demonize for being "too girly"? We'll make you try them and you'll find yourself liking how they make you feel/look because things can't have a gender so stop assigning one to everything. Toxic masculinity? Rubbish. We'll help you learn how to process your feelings, you'll feel safe showing your love of dance or cooking because we appreciate you for your uniqueness. Bonus: being BFFs with a lesbian/bisexual girl? Fashion advice, dating advice, sports buddy, will call out your BS, and teach you cool stuff like woodworking or metallurgy. But no, guys miss out on the plethora of benefits from having women as friends because society has taught them that our only benefit is sexual. This is part of why we have such horrendous misogyny, blatant disrespect of female-identifying persons, and rampant abuse pervading all levels of our societal structure. Let men and women be friends. Stop teaching boys and girls they can't just hang out and like each other's company.
