Being Late Part 1

Theseus Scamander x reader

Note: This is my first imagine ever so at least try and read it through :D Also english isn’t my first language, I’m sorry if I have mistakes. I know Slughorn didn’t teach this time at Hogwarts so bare with me 

„Y/N!Y/N!“ faint sounds were coming from one of your best friends Ginny,as you turned around in bed to face her sun lights peered into your eyes and you instantly covered your eyes with your hand. „What is it?“ You said with sleepy voice,Ginny rapidly walking around the room gathering hers and your stuff into one bag. „We've slept in and no body woke us up,hurry up and get dressed.“ „Get dressed for what?It's Saturday.“ Sluggishly you said,sitting on your bed. „No,it's Thursday Y/N and we're late for potions class!“ She exclaimed throwing your Gryffindor robe at you as you woke up in mere seconds. „Oh crap.“ You sweared,rushing to the bathroom so fast you could swear you saw red lightning behind you.You quickly brushed your teeth and put your pants and shirt on as well as your shoes.When you rushed out of bathroom Ginny was already by the door holding your robe,as you quickly put it over your shirt before running down the corridors of Hogwarts.

Reaching potions classroom you could hear Professor Slughorn talking about amortentia again,even if you studied it in previous years.Ginny apProached door first and she sneaked in without professor noticing her.Closing the door behind you heard professors voice „Ah miss Black late again are we?“ you silently cursed under your breath and turned around noticing few Hufflepufs,Slytherins and Gryffindors staring at you. „I'm sorry professor it won't happen again.“ Professor extends his hand towards you, „Come here miss Black,since you were late you can tell us which potion this is?“ You slowly walked towards him „Amortentia sir,the most powerful love potion in the world.It's rumored to smell differently to each person according to what attracts them,for example I smell-“ You explained,leaning over pot to smell it. „Freshly mown grass,parchment,vanilla and pepermint toothpaste.“ You said and stood next to Ginny. „Very good miss Black.“ Slughorn said and continued with the teaching. „So who is the secret lover Y/N?“ Ginny whispered and nigged your shoulder. „There is no secret lover Ginny.“ You smiled fliping pages through your book. „Really?Because you smelled grass,parchment,vanilla and pepermint toothpaste if I'm not mistaken?How does Dean smells like again?“ „Like despair.“ You joked and both of you laughed. „You're avoiding my question.“ She insisted. „Because there is nothing to talk about Ginny,I'm not intrested in anybody that's all.“ You whispered as professor Slughorn announced the class is over. „Do you want to go to the quiddich game?“ Ginny asked happily as you packed you books. „Who's playing?“ „Hufflepufs vs. Gryffindors“ „Sure,I'd love to see Hufflepufs get smashed.“ Just as Ginny opened her mouth to say something on of the Hufflepufs interupted. „I don't think so,we've got better this year.“ „Listening to girls conversations now,Salamander?“you asked with smile  „Scamander.“ „Like I said Hufflepufs are going down.“ „You think so?“ „I know so Salamander.“ And with that you and Ginny walked out leaving Scmander behind. „It-It's Scamander“ He mumbled.
