Pollivler tells another story about the Purple Wedding and Sansa's alleged magical powers. After doing the first fantastic story of the deadly enchantress Sansa Stark a few months ago, I was very much looking forward to doing this one. I had a good model to work from, and other than the wings not quite fitting into my panel. I was quite happy with how it turned out.

Hello, I was thinking about Tyrion saying he killed Joffrey after ASOS (and to Jaime) and I mean it's mostly just him dealing with the fact that nobody believes he's innocent but do you think he'll continue doing that or he'll want to know who actually killed Joffrey? I hope he finds out the truth somehow.

Tyrion has too much of a curious mind and he's definitely going to be back in the game so the question of who killed Joffrey will be relevant in a way that it isn't while he's far away on his lost weekend in Essos. But he already has figured out that Sansa had something to do with it and that it was done through poison in the cup. When he returns to Westeros and finds out his wife has been living in hiding in the Vale, he'll put two and two together, just like he sussed out Littlefinger before. Tyrion's knowledge of what really happened is definitely going to be plot relevant in some way.

Summary: Sansa attends Joffrey and Margaery’s wedding.

A Preview: The silvery satin dress she wore was trimmed in vair, with dagged sleeves that almost swept the floor. It was lined in a soft purple velvet and her new handmaiden artfully arranged her hair in a silver net that sparkled with dark purple gemstones. The dress was more beautiful than her own wedding dress had been.

She couldn’t help the resentment and nausea that cramped her belly as her mind made comparisons. Though she knew everything for King Joffrey’s wedding to Margaery Tyrell would be more splendid than her own to the imp, a part of her still anguished at the childish dream that was stolen from her. What little girl hadn’t fantasized about a lavish wedding to the handsome crown prince or a valiant knight?

Her lips pursed. Arya. Arya never dreamed such silly nonsense. Coming to King’s Landing had been like waking up from the most beautiful dream to find reality crushing you under its shit-stained boot. Instead of her handsome prince she was now anchored to the ugly imp.

She knew logically that if she had to choose between King Joffrey and Tyrion, the dwarf was probably the better option, at least he didn’t force himself on her or beat her. His hands weren’t forever stained with her father’s blood as Joffrey’s were. But a part of her still grieved, a part of her wished this wedding was for her, as it was meant to be.

Did that make her a horrible person? She wasn’t sure so she did her best to numb herself from all the feelings that threatened to strangle the breath from her. A state she often found herself in these days, feeling nothing was easier.

This is the 10th anniversary of the Purple Wedding. You could just about hear people cheering from their homes in 2014.

Rivaled only by Ramsay Bolton and his gruesome affinity for siccing hounds on his victims, Joffrey's predilection for cruelty landed him a proportionate end. Knowing that his claim to the Iron Throne was by all suspicions illegitimate — as he was likely the product of a forbidden relationship between Cersei and her bother, Kingslayer Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) — made his death even more palatable. 

Joffrey's evil nature was apparent all the way back in S01E02. Writer Gabriella Ferrigine lists six reasons in her article why Joffrey had it coming. The first reason was his ordering the death of Mycah, the butcher's boy, on the way from Winterfell to King's Landing. Joff wasn't even king at the time.

It would have been great fun if Arya had finished him off. Though the story would have taken a drastic turn.

Cersei thought she could control Joffrey – but we know how that went. While her influence increased when Joffrey became king, he often went off script and just kept getting worse.

today me and my wife were out and about and while we were sitting down drinking some coffee I looked up and saw a family of three- two parents and a child- walking through the area all wearing the exact same shirt:

it was the exact same shirt, two adult sizes and a tiny baby one for the, like, four year old kid they were carrying

so I turned to my wife and pointed them out, because 1. it was really cute and mostly 2. I was wearing this

so we laugh and then i see one of the parents make eye contact, and i impulsively point at my shirt and then theirs and flash a thumbs up

at first I worried that I was being weird but they immediately turn to their spouse to say something, then point at me and they both start excitedly getting the kids attention on me. they nudge and coerce him and point at me and my shirt, smiling, but the child is too distracted by everything else in the room to notice our matching fit

eventually the parents look back at me and call out "its his favorite shirt, so we all got them to wear together" and I respond, "cool shirt, dude!" and they carry on with their day. ive never felt a stronger sense of community with complete randos and I will love them forever
