Trick or Treat!
Tumblr media
Oh goodness! Trick or treaters at my door. Hm, perhaps you would like…A starlight brigade ficlet?
“Trick or treat!” Strive announced, holding the bag out and open with both hands. At the door, Phobos looked down at it with a blank stare. He seemed to think about it for a second, then his head jerked up in idea and he snapped his fingers. He disappeared into his room, and Strive heard him rummaging around a bit. He returned shortly and dropped a small scented candle into the bag. He then flashed Strive a thumbs-up and closed the door.
-
“Trick or treat!”
Meouch pondered him for a second, then reached into his pocket. He pulled out a can of beer and a pack of cigarettes, both of which he dropped into Strive’s bag before ruffling his hair.
“Don’t tell Sung.”
He closed the door.
-
“Trick or…treat? Treat please?”
Brian dropped a knife into the bag, where it promptly tore a hole straight through. He then flipped Strive off (with just a hint of affection in the familiar gesture) and closed the door.
-
“Trick or treat!”
Sung, dressed in some kind of ratty robe and wielding an old-looking book, swept Strive inside into his room which had been decorated with strange orange gourds and a whole lot of skeletons. He took Strive for a tour around, enthusiastically telling him about the history of this particular earth holiday (it had been his idea for Strive to trick-or-treat), some old stories about ancient demons, and also the finer points of necromancy.
At the end he dropped several “nutritional food bars” into Strive’s bag and told him not to take anything from Meouch.
-
“Trick…or treat?”
Havve stared at him. Strive stared back. Havve kept staring. Strive started to sweat.
Havve reached out and dropped a rock into his bag, then closed the door. Strive blinked in surprise, because from his perspective, that had been the more normal thing he had gotten.
-
At the end of the night, Strive took inventory of his bounty. He put Havve’s rock in a nice place on his shelf (gifted rocks were very important to moebians), and Phobos’ candle beside it. He tucked Brian’s knife away in a safe place, and buried Sung’s and Meouch’s gifts at the bottom of a drawer which he mentally labeled “emergency rations.”
Some of the other people on the ship had actually given him some candy, which was nice. He had never tried candy, really. He decided to munch on it while watching the movies Sung had recommended.
Unsurprisingly, he did not get much sleep that night.

Another little story again! I really love Alex Wesker and Natalia Korda, so I want to know the continuation of their common history. This is my version of their future, in which Wesker also survived, because I want to arrange some kind of brotp. An older brother and a little sister who commands him, what could be better?
AU - Immortal Connection
2013. AU in which Natalia Korda, after a good ending, began to gradually acquire personality traits of an adult Alex Wesker, but not her memory. She's still the same innocent child, just incredibly smart. The powers that Alex showed in her body during the bad ending also began to appear. And her half-brother Albert survived the battle in the volcano, but with great difficulty. It took him some years to recover, so he did not have time to arrive on the Sejm Island to obtain samples of T-Phobos, rumors of which reached him. By this point, BSAA and TerraSave had cleaned up everything there. Therefore, the only option was to find those who survived directly with the virus inside. But no sooner had Wesker realized that he needed Natalia, than he suddenly meet her in one of the TerraSave institutions.
He was supposed to sneak in there under the cover of night and steal the necessary data, but he absolutely did not expect to find a little girl doing the same there. This meeting made him stand in a stupor for a while.
Alex, having an impressive adult consciousness locked in a child's body, could not stay in Barry's family for long. Noticing her intelligence, Barry sent her to study with the idea that in their fragile world, good scientists are needed, which are so lacking in TerraSave.
That night Natalia, or Alex, was looking for information about herself. She understood that she was no longer the same person, no longer the Natalia she was. Her knowledge, intelligence, powers ... she wanted to find an explanation for all this, because she didn’t remember anything at all about Alex's experiment on the transfer of consciousness. And she didn't succeed, did she? Right?
Partially.
Alex didn't recognize her brother in Natalia's body, just like he didn't recognize her. Noticing something strange in the girl's behavior, Wesker would not attack her. And it wouldn't have worked. With the powers that received from T-Phobos, Alex would be able to protect herself, besides, she sees infected people through walls, so she knew that he was nearby.
«He's not a human... interesting» she thought.
Wesker, looking into her eyes, should have immediately understood that in front of him was a child under the influence of one of the strains of the progenitor virus, just like himself. The one he was looking for. Trying to play along with her in order to use her for his own purposes, he will face the fact that he will be reprimanded on the spot.
«I'm not a stupid child»
Well, he's in a stupor again. Now what to do? It won't be possible to take her blood even by force... because he is not in a condition to fight with someone. Even the few years it took to restore his body wasn't enough. Competing with someone who most likely surpasses him in strength is pointless. But their confrontation did not last longer than a couple of moments, because two people with high intelligence quickly understood that they needed to cooperate. They could benefit from each other.
«Probably you are here for information, I will give it to you. But in return, I’ll get it too, okay? »
He was completely lost. Team up with a child? Definitely the strangest collaboration, but if he can benefit from it, then…
«I agree»
Not a situation in which Wesker can afford to showing off.

* note: not all of these are actually viruses, we're obviously including parasites and fungi.
** assuming an extraordinary outcome. T is gonna make you a Tyrant (or similar), not a zombie. Ouroboros will make you into something like Wesker or Neil Fisher, not a pile of mindless slop.
*** Las Plagas may be superior species or standard depending on your preference. If you want to be Krauser, cool. If you wanna be El Gigante, more power to ya. It won't make you Verdugo because that was created through separate experiments in merging human and insect DNA. Could make you Mendez though

I bet the young player doesn't wanna be revered as a god, not because they're not one but because of how they have been treated due to the title. Phobos being one of the main causes of their disdain towards the title, it makes them feel like they have to do something, that they have to be something they aren't.
I like to think that when Jeb learns of the player's fear of not holding up to Phobos' standards he, in future monologues, refers to the player as his friend instead of his god.
It seems very logiccal for this type of event to occur. The human would probably experience imposter syndrome and would feel like they aren't really a god. They can't make things appear out of thin air nor change the land. They don't really have the talent to do that. Their powers are mostly caused by a mod that they didn't even make! So they would definitely probably grow more and more uncomfortable with the title and Jeb would be smart enough to pick up on it. So instead of calling them his god or some other grand title, he just starts calling them player or his friend to even it out. Phobos would also probably have a major influence on that type of stuff, since he will also make other grunts call player that, which may only further cause discomfort and dysphoria. Jeb would also probably take them away from the science tower once he actively rebels against Phobos. It's for the greater good of not only Nevada, but also for the Player's sake.

hello! I was wondering if you got my request! if you didn't, it was basically about yandere Phobos spoiling you, getting you anything you even glance at and doesn't make you lift a finger. Your a god! let him treat you like one!
Hello Anon! :) I received this request while I was writing some other Phobos stuff a while back, but I decided to make a separate set just for this topic. Hope you like these, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! <3
Phobos Spoils the Player ft. (Phobos + The Nexus Core)
(TW: Yandere, Obsessive Behavior, Mentions of violence, Religious Fanaticism (from Phobos, of course))
Tumblr media
"All-encompassing" has always been the most suitable term to use for the Director of the Nexus Core's devotion to you. It permeates every fiber of his being, with each order he gives and each action he takes being diligently carried out with you in mind. Every step forward for Nevada, every inkling of true progress contained in all of the Nexus Core's experiments that he fostered, were made in the hope of making you - his God - genuinely proud of what his life's work would become. That's not even to mention the shrine of goods and personal effects he amassed to make his worship of you that much more effective.
The effort he went through just for the chance at getting your clear approval wasn’t something to scoff at, especially since nobody in the Nexus Core could remember a time when Phobos put anyone above himself. An effort that would only intensify once he finally had a chance to show his reverence for you in person.
While you might've insisted that there's no need to make others worship you (despite how you're entirely deserving of it in his view), he'll make it clear to everyone around that you're truly something to behold nonetheless. His gentleness is nearly unmatched, and his sharp glares in response to anyone treating you without what he considers adequate respect is enough proof of this goal of his. If those in the Nexus Core call him Director, and might even refer to him as their rightful God Emperor (if they're trying to be extra nice with the hopes of getting a holiday bonus), then you should naturally be regarded as higher than that.
Until you tell him to stop, he'll make sure that his people bow their heads in respect, and generally stay out of your way. "Speak only when spoken to" was drilled into their heads days before your arrival, and the tightening of their Director's hand on the pommel of his sword is enough of a threat to adhere to that. In his eyes, you probably shouldn't be socializing with the lowly grunts of his organization anyway; you're too high up to do that.
Of course, you contradict this (as it's entirely too stifling and uncomfortable to be treated like you're some priceless gem), and the Nexus workers appreciate it. Your own exasperated, if not slightly amused, commentary on every interaction they have with their Director makes them more comfortable with being around you. Although judging by the rather harsh punishments laid out for their coworkers, it'd be best not to get too close.
However, the Nexus Core's newfound respect for you, due in no small part to how you reign Phobos in, only makes them happier to accommodate you as he asks (demands). It is at his request that you have all your necessary tasks completed by them, from cooking when you're there to even trivial things like making your bed in your suite.
(It's tedious sometimes, but so much better than what they usually have to do, so you'd be surprised by how okay with it they are.)
Really, Phobos will try to make it so you don't exactly have to do anything at all. A person as important as you deserves to have these things attended to, and he's the best person to provide you with this. He's an ever-dutiful follower with incredible, far-reaching power; who else could make it so you never have to lift a finger for anything?
Furthermore, Phobos' tendency to seek out only the finest of things hasn't been stopped by your arrival either, the only difference being that now he gives them directly to you instead of placing them on your shrine. You've never seen so many precious stones and metals in one place, and you honestly didn't know how to react when he prompted you for any jewelry you might want to be made out of it. (Since it seems he apparently just realized that you have nowhere to put them all. Unless you just stay with him from now on, which is also an option he'd highly recommend.)
It definitely took some getting used to on your part, to always have the very best of everything that Nevada could offer just handed to you without complaint. The softest of bedspreads, the highest quality of clothing, and the best food from the most lauded of chefs; no expense would be spared to give you everything your acolyte knew you deserved.
(Phobos doesn't even care if he has to...extract them from their previous places of work to get them right where they should be, just to be useful. It's an honor to serve you anyway, and the chefs should realize that quickly. For their own safety, if nothing else.)
It's also evident whenever you go out, on those occasions where you decide to spend some time exploring Nexus City (with the Director by your side, naturally). It was actually really fun; it’d been too long since you were free to go wherever you wanted. The other grunts in the city were a little perturbed but decided to ignore it. Judging by the cold glares of warning leader of their city seemed to give them when they so much as looked in your general direction, it was best left alone. But they grew to welcome you, as Phobos tended to be very generous whenever you accompanied him.
He’s willing to do anything for you, and this includes spending money. If you even glance at something for a millisecond too long, he’s already approaching the clerk to get it for you, no matter how expensive it is. He'd insisted on giving you things without you asking, so if it's clear to him that you want something, it's only right that he gives it to you. As your most loyal subject, it's only the most logical course of action for him.
The fact that you get so flustered and even try to refuse his gifts only motivates him to go further with it. Although it makes him feel oddly warm that he's the first to really treat you how he knows you deserve to be, it also annoys him that those in your world were such fools to not realize how they should regard you. So he'll just make his care for you so evident and obvious through his gestures that it'll make you realize you don't need anyone else.
You said you didn't want anyone else worshiping you like him, so you'll obviously agree with him on this eventually, right? It makes perfect sense.
("Phobos, I really don't need any of those," you tried to explain, tugging on his sleeve as he took the bags from the nervous grunt at the counter. It had been some cute plushies you eyed for long enough to get his attention, and he took the attention as a sign that you wanted them.
"Your Grace, whether you "need" them is irrelevant," he responded, turning to give you an uncharacteristically warm look. "Nevada's goods are yours; so long as you desire them, I'll do my best to get them for you, no matter what they are or how necessary they might be. Your needs are something that I'll take upon myself; you don't have to worry about that regardless. But as your acolyte, I can't leave you wanting for anything either. Please understand this."
You held his gaze for a moment before looking away, scratching the back of your neck with a silent nod. 'He's so stubborn,' you mused to yourself as you felt heat creeping across your cheeks. It's charming, in an odd way. Though you couldn't stop from feeling guilty over how much he spent on you, you guessed you could put up with it if it made him so happy - something that was obvious from how he purrs when you accept it.)
The way that Phobos spoils you is a way for him to show you just how much he cares for you and your happiness, so of course he’d be happy to drain the Nexus’ budget for anything your heart desires. (Or that he believes you desire, anyway.)
He loves you in a way he's never loved anyone else before, and he'll surpass everyone else in his effort to try and prove it to you. Besides, what fool would anyone deny a God what they're entitled to, regardless of their status in your following? You deserve to relax, so just let him, your eternally loyal God Emperor, take care of your every want and need, okay?

I really wanted to portray the elderly Yan Lin in transformation. Remember that phrase from Phobos: “Guards, Cedric? Dilapidated ruins!” But the heart chose a new team of girls only at the beginning of the events of the animated series. Has none of the worlds ever needed help before?
Of course, Yan Lin is not as mobile as in her youth. Even from her wings it is noticeable that the keeper no longer resorts to flying as often as she would like. But she has a wealth of battle experience, the power of the elements and small tricks on her side. For example, a wind catcher attached to a staff.
This talisman is also called wind music. Because when air currents pass through it, the parts of the amulet come into contact, creating a melodic chime. It is believed that it transforms negative energy into positive energy. The sound vibrations of the amulet revive the Chi energy and help it move. Isn't it an ideal weapon for a guardian of the air?

If they are trying to make the moons seem reasonable or justified they are failing miserably. I don't even know if we are supposed to root for them at all anymore after the most recent episode.
I think Ganymede and Europa might even know that what they are doing is wrong because he hesitated to tell mars his real plan.
Are they supposed to be villains? Because what happened in the most recent episode seems like villan behavior.
Mars actively discouraged and condemned Earths behavior twoards moons and venus doesn't even have moons but yet the moons still force him into the conflict. They are getting punished for something they have no parts in and mars even seems to treat his moons well but who gives a shit.
Also also also earth's moon was hurt the most by earth's behavior wich I am pretty sure is the thing the moons have a problem with (even though only 4 moons were even part of that conflict) but earth's moon was the one who decided to forgive.
If the problem is really with thier own planets, why are they just targeting earth? 3 moons in the revolution had a bad experience with earth (Titan, Phobos, and Deimos), and that's the main target. I know he said something about all moons, but it was really only 2 guys that were there and heard.
If they wanted to make us side with the moons they maybe should of held off on earth alone where they show us that earth is willing to change and is becoming a better person (I'm assuming this is taking g place at the same time)
The planets have been shown to care about thier moons, and will probably listen in the case where a real conversation is wanted to be had, but violence is thier first option I guess?
The tone of this arc makes it seems like we are kinda supposed to root for the moons but the actual actions in the show of the planets do not warrant a revolution directed towards them.
Urgh this arc is so dumb

Throwing this out real quick before putting together the compilation of entries for this month's oc challenge.
A mostly-complete ref for Major Phobos Avadat, who turned into my favourite out of the twins. Deimos devolved into a jackass.
Phobos's injuries that took him off the frontlines were severe, and while scars of any kind are not a source of shame on Cyclonia, they're still raw and uncomfortable even years later. He lost an eye and sustained considerable damage to his vocal chords that has rendered him mostly mute. The prosthetic/mask, made for him by his older brother Monsoon, alleviates some of the discomfort he experiences from them. It's plain, simple, and a bit unnerving to some, but it gets the job done. His family doesn't mind it, and the animals don't care so long as he feeds them on time.
And the kirin form...
After Cyclonia Rising, after Cyclonis abandoned her Empire for the Far Side to avoid the humiliation of her defeat, the Sky Knights took over. Unbeknownst to anyone though, the act of ripping out an entire chunk of Terra Cyclonia's landmass had awoken something sleeping deep within its core. An ancient demigod who once helped found the kingdom of Cyclonia thousands of years ago. Talon the War-Keeper has returned to his people in their perceived greatest hour of need, and has enlisted numerous soldiers as his Disciples. Gifting them a fraction of his abilities so that they may better protect Cyclonia, Phobos is one of those Disciples. He and the others can take the form of a kirin with a clouded mane who can run on air with hoofbeats like thunder. They can harness the power of the wind without the aid of crystals, making them into even more brutal warriors.
Phobos just wishes it hadn't cost him so much before rejoining the fight.

important question: even though the starwake system's phone now have a chip that tracks down and records all of their activity on it, as part of the break beyond festival guideline, would they make contact with warlock anyway, someone who break beyond force had exiled only last year?
While Phoebus would be the one to keep telling everyone in the system not to contact Warlock so they wouldn't collectively get in trouble with Angelparadox, Bluebreak, and the other Break Beyond Heads— mainly with the first in mention, but.. Micah would be extremely cautious with trying to reach out to Warlock, and then there are Phobos and especially Philos who would be the " FUCK IT WE BAIL " kind of individuals. But these three doesn't care to follow the rules when it comes to Warlock. Do you really think Micah can survive a whole week without contacting Warlock??? Not even give them a greeting text??? With their gay clingy ass, I think the fuck not.
@mordcode / Saint Hunter Byte's Techne involves electricity manipulation and xe's generally fantastic with handling technology, so who knows, maybe Micah can ask xem to help them find a way to manipulate the chip into creating fake activities and recordings for the receiving ends to collect, if they can convince xem enough, that is. But, yeah, especially Micah would miss Warlock a lot and try to contact them, even if they know it's a massive risk, though, they just love Warlock very much that they'd do about anything for them. Also, Micah firmly believes the Break Beyond Force are at the wrong for exiling Warlock, so if any Heads got a problem with this, Micah, Philos and Phobos will simply close their eyes and pretend they didn't hear them at all.

ℙ𝕙𝕠𝕓𝕠𝕤 𝔹𝕒𝕟𝕟𝕖𝕣 - ℙ𝕖𝕣𝕤𝕠𝕟𝕒𝕝 𝕊𝕥𝕠𝕣𝕪
(SR) Lab Coats (Part 1): "It’d Make This Exchange a Lot Less Fun."
Tumblr media
(NRC: Library)
Phobos: Different types of poisons affect the body in different ways. Phobos: Some of them work through the nervous system... attacking the body’s nerves, causing muscles to seize, the brain to fry, and the heart to stop beating. Phobos: Others work through the circulatory system, causing the blood to coagulate within the veins and cause internal congestion. The victim is likely to die of a stroke or heart attack through this methodology. Phobos: Still, others are more corrosive. They eat away at the internals of the victim, dissolving muscle and flesh, causing internal hemorrhaging and decay. The victim is more likely to bleed out when they can’t stop the corrosion. Phobos: With that in mind, the real question is… what of these methods are capable of being replicated without the actual presence of poison? Phobos: Coagulation and nervous attack, possibly, though I doubt corrosion would be… Unless somehow the body could be forced to produce more powerful stomach acid, maybe. Hm…
Rook: What plans are circling your mind, Monsieur Malicieux?
Phobos: -! I don’t like that you could sneak up on me like that.
Rook: Even a novice hunter always knows how to silence his footsteps when stalking his prey~ Rook: Oya… are you studying poisons?
Phobos: None of your business, leave me alone.
Rook: Ooh la la, but if this is part of your studies, I could be more than a worthy partner in your quest for knowledge! Rook: As a member of the science club, and vice dorm head of Pomefiore, poisons are something I have a great deal of confidence in knowing.
Phobos: …I’m not studying poisons. I’m studying biology.
Rook: Even better! As a hunter of hearts and beasts I do have keen knowledge in biology as well-
Phobos: I didn’t ask for your input! I told you, I’m fine! Phobos: Tch... If you’re so adamant to butt into my business and leap into the jaws of death, then fine. How about you be my "lab partner" then?
Rook: Gladly! I'd be more than happy to assist you with whatever you need. I've always wanted to spend more time with you~
(Phobos rips a piece of paper from his notebook and begins scribbling something down upon the page.)
Rook: Hmm? Is that poetry you’re composing? Rook: “Cursed eyes gazing upon this page-”
Phobos: Rule number one: Don’t read this out loud.
Rook: Oh?
Phobos: Rule number two: Don’t read this until I’m finished writing this. Phobos: Rule number three: When you’re finished reading this, give it back to me immediately. Phobos: Rule number four: Report to me everything you felt after reading this note. Phobos: If you’re gonna keep annoying me, these are the rules you’ll be following for our experiment. You will ask no questions, and you’ll tell no souls about what we did today. Got it?
Rook: Oui. I’m now very much intrigued to see where your plans lie~
Phobos: Hmph… Here. Now you can read it. Silently.
Rook: Very well. Let me see~ Rook: ………?! A-Ah… what is…?
Phobos: Finished?
Rook: Oui, my… my heart is…? Rook: Haah… what a fascinating sensation.
Phobos: Rule number four, Rook. Status report.
Rook: Hmmh… I could… feel my heart palpitate with strain, every muscle in my chest tightening like a vice, before very gently and suddenly releasing. Rook: Like the claws of a beast had torn its way through my ribs and clenched my very heart within my chest… before quietly granting mercy and releasing its grip… Rook: W-What a powerful reaction. Your prose shook me to my core, stronger than any poison I’d ever experienced before. That was… exhilarating~
Phobos: Keep that part to yourself. I don't need to hear it. Phobos: But, that all but confirmed my suspicions in one regard... Phobos: Poison doesn’t need to even attack the human nervous system, it just needs to command the nerves to do what it wants… to turn the body against itself and go in for the kill. Phobos: Generally speaking, poisons use chemical compounds to command the body to do its bidding. The chemicals don’t need to be present for the reaction to occur, as long as the body can generate the end result needed on their own. Phobos: Chemicals are words; words command the body to self-immolate… Perfect. Phobos: Alright, guinea pig, you’re dismissed.
Rook: Oui~ I look forward to helping you with your studies again, Monsieur Malicieux~
(Rook walks away, footsteps heavy and unsteady.)
Phobos: Hmph… Not exactly happy with someone having an insight to my power and walking away scott-free, but it’s hard to say no to a willing guinea pig. Phobos: A stupid, willing victim… The easiest toy to play with the inner mechanisms of. Phobos: Heh… Heheheh… Keep jumping into the jaws of death, little mouse. I can’t wait to tear you apart, piece by piece.
/ To be continued…

What "development" is this person talking about? They're given more screen time and made into comic relief characters but that's about it. I was hoping not to see the need to prop up the '90s anime until AFTER Cosmos was released in the US. They completely downplayed the threatening nature of Sailor Animates. Compare Lead Crow's bantering with Siren and her wiping out Phobos and Demos and catching Sailor Mars off guard and threatening Venus as well. No idea what the designs have to do with this.
People still don't understand what character development is
Character development does not equal screen time.
We are not with them a long time but we do know why they are doing what they a doing and get a little backstory.
Especially the fact the 90's anime completely changed their backstory to be being an senshi who gave up their star seed meanwhile in the manga they were never senshi in the first place but WANTED to be senshi. To the point they help Gal kill the senshi of their own planet because she promise them if they do that they will be reborn as senshi with a Sailor Crystal.
That is more tragic because they were promise something and thought's they was working towards that but was never going to get it in the first place.
Shit Tin Nyanko gave Artemis and Luna the ride at by saying they abandoned Mau to help out Usagi which she was very pissed off at that.
Then you have Lethe and Mnemosyne that are "true" senshi but their planets was at war with each other and they saw their planets get blew up by Gal and then they served her.
Would it been more nice to spend more time with them?
Yeah sure
But you have Galaxia pretty much killing a senshi left and right to get Usagi which they were pretty much pawns in this for Gal, it's not going to be like that.
To me they did a couple things
To show there are more senshi out there besides the 11 ( well 12 if you count Chibs) that we have spent almost five arcs knowing. That planets outside the Solar System have their own Planetary Sailor Senshi protecting the planet.( Which it could have been awesome if we got another series exploring more senshi but how Toei treated Naoko, I don't blame her.)
To be a cautionary and tragic tale of girls who want to be a senshi and was lead astray by someone who promised that but it was never going to happen. Which they was used for that person bidding and their own personal goal didn't matter.
To show that without a Sailor Crystal or Star Seed, the body is just dust. Showing that a Sailor Crystal or Star Seed is someone soul and the body is expendable. (Which is many religious teachings, it's been taught that the soul will live on but the body will turn back into the earth aka dirt or dust.) Which the only thing that was keeping those five alive was the bracelets and without them they was just dust.
Some people don't understand how deep was getting in this arc but because they only spent one or two page time before they was gone and not 20-30 episodes being comedic relief before finally getting killed yall want to scream "THEY GET NO CHARACTER DEVEOPLMENT! "
It's bad enough they scream that over and over again about the core four when if you really look closely those girls are not the same people they were when the manga started.
They have changed completely while still maintain their traits.
Do you we have ever seen Ami showing anger for not getting an high score on a test to the point she's ripping a paper in half?
Even Haruka and Mic is not the same people we met from Infinity arc to Stars Arc.
The fact those two went from being all about not making sure Hotaru didn't awaken to Saturn to pretty much taking care of her and treating her like she's their own kid.
Hell Hotaru went from a father who only used her for a science experiment which she was only kept alive by being a half machine, to finding a friend, to awaking up to the powerful senshi who thought they was always " the unwanted guest" to now she has a family, a best friend, and doesn't have to be alone anymore.
Pluto My god Sets. Sets went from being pretty much a kid senshi that had to stay a the door of time guarding it with no friends at all, that was told not to break rules, to befriending Chibiusa, a girl who was a lonely as she was who had no friend's, who she broke all the rules for because how much she loved her and wanted to save her , to being reborn by NQS in present time, and now being the " mother" type figure for the whole team
Mic was straight up gushing about the fact they are in high school again and can enjoy the experience because when they was at the academy they was on a mission. They are able to be normal high schoolers hanging out with each other and with the other five.
Do you think we have saw Mic break her lip stick because one of the starlights told her the color was tacky? Not how she was first introduced to be the elegant one.
We was able to see different sides of the girls and show how multi-faceted they could be while seeing them grow.
All these girls started off feeling like they are alone. That people and society had a perception about them which was father from the truth..
Usagi said fuck that shit and befriended every last one of them which they found a friend in her and found friends with each other. They founded their own family which help them grow and able to show who they really are to not only to each other but to other people as well.
"We're all lonely stars. That's why we seek each other out. We want to be united. Together as one. Because that is how we were in the beginning. "
-Usagi to Chaos in Act 59 in StarS Arc
Does that line really encompass Sailor Moon as a whole but some people fail to grasp that concept??
They were all lonely stars, found each other, and made an unbreakable bond with each other. ( Which you can tell how strong their bond was because they was pretty much can feel when the other one is in trouble, they can feel when one them got killed, and they all stayed together in the Cauldron waiting on Usagi.)
And because we do see that but not 100-200 episodes of that people want to say they didn't get any character development.
That's why you can't tell me their friendship was better in the 90's anime than the Manga/Crystal because it's not true.
