-Sapphire comes to earth to use her future vision to see the status of the cluster and properly check on it- She has her group of 3 rubys with her and they manage to poof Jasper in the same manner of Garnet getting poofed by Jasper in canon. Ship chaos happens and Jasper manages to poof 2 of 3 rubies while the last one escapes in the escape pod with Sapphire. Steven bubbles the rubies cuz he’s silly like that and wants to make sure they’re going to be ok

-cue a couple fights later and Jasper gets frustrated that she’s lost a few battles to a lone ruby and a sapphire of all gems and starts pushing the other gems away and preventing them from fighting with her- She goes to attack Sapphire while Ruby’s catching her breath since she’s seemingly defenseless but Ruby jumps in and they fuse and sit there having a panic attack. Jasper stands there in shock for a moment cuz she’s not entirely used to fusion either before going to attack again-Only for Steven to jump in the way and save them

-Ruby’s getting stressed over the cluster and pacing in the barn so Lapis recommends Steven goes to show them what it’s like on earth-Cue Sapphire and Ruby slowly realizing they love each other. She traps herself in the bathroom peridot style until Steven manages to make her realize she’s safe here and the cluster is bubbled and she’s allowed to be herself and doesn’t have to be afraid of being shattered for being defective if she messes up even slightly. She gets her peridot arc or smthn

-Greg gets taken to the human zoo like in canon but Pearls there with Holly Blue Agate to watch over the humans and their growth. She was sent there after white was shattered as punishment for failing her diamond and it’s seriously messed her up- She does see them being free tho and helps them escape with Greg without thinking- Steven offers for her to tag along and she hesitates until Holly Agate comes along and she immediately jumps in the ship

-Pearl watches Steven sleep like in canon but it’s. Creepier. It’s habit from the human zoo but she starts to investigate his gem in the process and realizes it’s her diamond aka white. She goes to remove the gem to free her diamond back-Maybe get her status back by having white back-Desperation type beat- only to wake Steven who panics and pushes her away- She panics massively and starts sobbing and calling him her diamond

-Instead of the loud distraction yell of “She’s Gone” from pink Steven- Steven accidentally mind controls pink for a split second and it makes them both tumble back- I don’t know fully how this scene would work tbh I gotta brainstorm more but. -Bismuth takes the role of Spinel in the movie!! He has everything, flowers, the red checkered blanket, and food Scar totally didn’t help him make

It’s really cute and he treats you so nicely

It is your birthday after all

And of course, what is a picnic without a surprise?

Mumbo had Insisted the two of you stay out late, though, you didn’t quite know why. You watched the sun go down and thought that was what he wanted to stay out for, but no. He insisted that if you’d just wait, you’d love what was to come.

So you wait.

And wait.

You wait till The moon is high in the sky. “Mumbo, I think it’s time to-” You’re cut off by Mumbo pointing at something “Look!” You look to where he’s pointing only to find a little firefly. You watch the little bug flutter around. Soon, there’s more until the whole valley is lit up with tiny lights. It looks magical like the stars came down to make a show just for you.

Mumbo smiles “Suprise”

Grian

He takes the day off from his little prank war with Doc to spend time with you.

You have to make him promise he won’t wake you up at 6 AM this year

He takes you out for lunch

This man is taking you flying, whether you have wings or not.

You’re woken up by a loud thump. You sit up in bed, confused until you realize the pesky bird just slammed himself into your window, thinking it was an open gap. You have to hold in laughter as you run downstairs to go make sure he’s ok.

You quickly change out of your night clothes and run downstairs and outside. Grian is dusting himself off when he sees you and his eyes light up. “There you are! Right on time!” Before you can ask questions you’re being swept up into his arms.

He shoots off into the sky and you have to cling to him so you don’t fall. “GRIAN!” You yell, have to scream to be heard over the rushing wind. Finally, he slows down “Yes Y/n?”

“What do you think you’re doing?” You ask, a mock scolding tone to your voice. “Taking you to lunch!” He says cheerily

Scar

The whole day is spent doing whatever you’d like to do.

You want to go to the shopping district? Scars got Diamonds. You want to walk around Scarland? He’ll give you the best tour. Just want to cuddle in bed? He’s more than happy to do that!

The one thing that is for sure is that he’s waking you up with breakfast

No guarantee on how it turns out tho

You’re woken up to the smell of something burning. You quickly get out of bed and head downstairs. You head into the kitchen to find Scar making breakfast.

“Scar is something burning?”

“Just my love for you~”

“Scar the toaster is on fire”

“THE TOASTER IS WHAT!?”

He quickly whips around and does his best to put out the fire. You sigh and smile. “Scar, the fire extinguisher.” Scar pauses for a moment before grabbing the fire extinguisher and putting out the fire.

You can’t help but laugh, and give Scar a hug “Thanks for making breakfast” Scar smiles and kisses your forehead “Of course. Happy birthday Y/n”

Mmmmm, i sent a request but im not so sure it processed though, since tumblr is a bit weird sometimes, so could i request a part two for the poly!solangelo x child of poseiden!reader? you know how in the last olympian percy an annabeth share an underwater kiss? well what if reader has like a secret hide out cave near cabin three but the only way to get to it is by going underwater, and its like really pretty, theres fairy lights, blankets, pieces of pearls and coral laying around, shells just here and there, jewelry, chest full of tresure(nobody knows where it came from probably from poseiden tho-(cause favoritism))and theres like this pocket of water where you get into and out of the cave, etc, etc, so reader decides to take solangelo underwater and into the hide out cave, the three of all explored the sea and then when they got to the cave, reader(whos still a merperson peeping out from the pocket of water) gifts the two the most beautiful pieces of pearl jewelry so they can all be matching and its just very very fluffy in general!!!!

-You could see Nico’s hesitation as you lead the two boys towards the lake. You had told them that you had a surprise for them. It's crazy to think that it had been a week since the three of you had been in a relationship and it had been nothing but bliss.

-Of course you had been friends before all of this but now that you were dating you wanted to show them your special spot. Normally this is where you would go if you wanted alone time, so it was very special to you. But you were willing to share it with them. “It’ll be ok I promise.” you reassure Nico, gently squeezing his hand before you jump off the dock into the water with a splash. -Will can’t help but laugh as he shields himself from the water, Nico getting the brunt of the splash but sighs heavily as if annoyed but you could see the faint smile on his face. “Guess it’s our turn!” Will yells as he jumps into the water pulling Nico with him by his hand. Both of them cause a large splash as well making you laugh happily.

-With both boys underwater you make a bubble of air for them to breathe. The last thing you wanted to do was drown your new boyfriends... Content with your work you take their hands leading them to the deep part of the lake through a hole at the bottom. That was where you kept your secret cave. The three of you make your way up into the cave that had fairy lights, blankets, coral and a beautiful treasure chest.

-”Wow…” Will says in amazement as their bubble pops once they reach the shore. You have to stay half in the water as you have your large tail. “This is my little hideout.” you explain with a smile seeing the two of them look around. “I know I call you a crow but you’re really selling it.'' Nico says as he lifts up some jewelry from your chest. “Hey!” you complain, making Will laugh.

-”It really is beautiful.” Will says with a kind smile that makes you blush. “This isn’t actually the only surprise I had…” the two of them do look back at you in curiosity. You dive going to your hiding spot and bringing back your gifts, a black pearl bracelet and a yellow one slipping the black one onto Nico’s wrist and the yellow onto Will’s. “There. I figured we should match…” you explain with a little blush.

-”I guess this means we’re official.” Nico says with a fond smile as he looks over the pearls. “Thank you, it really is beautiful.” Will says in hushed amazement. Nico and Will nod to each other and you can’t help but wonder what they have planned. That’s when Nico leans down kissing you gently on your lips. While your heart was fluttering and eyes wide open Will kissed you as well leaving you speechless for a few seconds as that was your first kiss, or well kisses. “W-Wait we have to do it again I had my eyes open.” you plead, making both boys laugh.

thoughts on pjo ep 6

also SPOILERS FOR PJO

i’m just kinda getting all my thoughts out on this episode! it was very interesting and VERY different from the books but not in a terrible way! i trust uncle rick with this show and im more so just curious why some things were changed from the books so much, and im sure a lot of these are going to be answered themselves in these last 2 episodes.

i also love hearing everyone’s ideas about what is going to happen from this point on cause ik even book fans are LOST

no zebra moment! i can’t think of any other moments in TLT that would give us time to learn about percy being able to talk to them, so this is probably going to get brought up for the first time with the hippocampi in SOM which actually works out. i would have loved to see this scene, but i can get that it would have taken up a good chunk of time, and for production reasons probably had to be skipped for now or entirely cut from the season.

clarisse?? traitor?? *LOUD INCORRECT BUZZER NOISE* i have my thoughts on why they did this, but also not?? i figured they did this to balance out the conversation percy and annabeth have with hermes about luke in order to take some attention away from it as to not make it TOO obvious he is the real traitor, but also why even have that conversation about luke in the first place then?? idk. i’m not sure if this is something that will be explained or make more sense with the rest of the season, and if not, i hope uncle rick can explain why this choice was made. there are so many choices in this episode that i would love to hear explained as to why they decided on it!

going off the last point, i do feel like they are slightly forcing the luke is the traitor point for the audience. we never got this much about luke in the books while they were on their quest, and even when he was talked about, nothing really pointed in the direction of him being the traitor. maybe im just an idiot but i remember the luke reveal being pretty shocking! i hope they don’t force it too much and allow everyone to guess it before the reveal even happens! maybe this is just me wanting it to be just like the books, but i guess they do need to hint at it here and there in ways the books didn’t?

also am a little weary about the “old married couple” comment. i hope they don’t speedrun their relationship. this is a SLOWBURN i hope it stays this way!

i get not having poker face in the casino. rick HATES those movies and probably wants to make this as different as possible while still being accurate to the books. honestly tho, dua lipa was a good ass choice. i can’t complain about that.

also CAMP JUPITER CAMPERS???? MAYBE???

besides being confused as to why the casino scene itself was pretty different from the books, it was a great event regardless. extremely well produced and was so fun to look at and watch for little details with everyone in the background. that being said, i was hoping for a bit more of a montage type scene. percy and annabeth didn’t get to have any real fun like in the books, it was mostly all grover. i don’t really know shit about production of tv shows and such, but i’m shocked the casino scene was changed this much from the book. but uncle rick i trust you wholeheartedly.

i did love them using the casino card to get a taxi to santa monica, but the hermes taxi in this was better. i was giggling the whole time. percy “i fought and killed a minotaur how hard can driving be” jackson my sweet child. and percy running the taxi into the damn wall because he was busy looking at annabeth??? love them so much

the only two things that REALLY confused me as they are changing major plot points:

1: 4 pearls?

2: the solstice is OVER??

the 4 pearls defeats the whole purpose of them arguing about who is going to stay in the underworld. either this plot point is going to change a lot, OR they are going to lose one of the pearls on the way, but if that is the case, what’s the point of giving them 4 if they are still going to end up with 3? i’m assuming it is going to be the former option, as getting 4 just to lose 1 for the sake of it doesn’t make much sense.

solstice??? over??? i’m very confused on this. this feels like it defeats the whole purpose of continuing the quest, but obviously percy is still determined to get sally (king), so we aren’t just ending the quest. i’m curious to see how these two plot points effect the rest of the season and why these were chosen instead of keeping the original plot!

overall i did really like this episode!! obviously it was very different from the book, but we can’t expect this entire show to be EXACTLY like the book. i would love to hear rick talk about a lot of the choices made throughout the season and why they were done. he has seemed very proud of this show and how it has played out, so i trust him with whatever he decides to do with it.

Heya, how good of pets do you believe a Nuzleaf could be? I really like them. They're just lil masked guys.

Nuzleaf is a tricky one. While I certainly recognize the appeal of these silly little guys, and they don’t seem to be particularly violent or anything, but it seems like they just plain don’t like people. That, as a starting point, is unfortunately not a great one.

At three feet tall, I must admit that nuzleafs are a bit bigger than I thought. This certainly doesn’t make them too big to live in a home, but it would bring with it some complications. For one, wild nuzleafs are prolific climbers (Emerald). Giving a three-foot-tall pet enough spaced to climb around might not be the easiest if you don’t have access to trees (their natural jungle gym of choice) for them to explore and play in. These pokémon are also known to live in holes bored in the sides of trees (FireRed/LeafGreen). The pokédex isn’t clear about if nuzleafs carve out these burrows themselves or if they find holes already created by other species. Either way, you will need to provide your nuzleaf with an enclosed burrow-like space to rest in, which may be beyond the means of some owners.

But really, here’s the thing: this species does not like humans. Nuzleafs live deep in “densely overgrown forests” (Ruby, HeartGold/SoulSilver), and they seem to be solitary, territorial critters (Scarlet). Whenever anyone, especially humans, enter a nuzleaf’s territory, they will try to scare them off by making unnerving sounds with a flute made from the leaf on their head (Sapphire). This sound is known to make listeners feel full of dread, afraid, uncertain, and uneasy (Sapphire, FireRed/LeafGreen, Diamond/Pearl/Platinum). The only time that nuzleafs leave their forest of their own accord is specifically to frighten humans (Ruby). According to all the available data, I can’t really assume that a nuzleaf would enjoy being a pet. It seems like they much prefer living alone in the forest.

But are they dangerous? Well, kind of? Nuzleafs boast a pretty versatile move set, utilizing Normal, Grass, Dark, Ghost, Rock, Fire, and even Flying-Type moves. Nuzleafs are mostly physical fighters, making use of their mobility and weapons like razor-sharp leaves to take down enemies. They can use a few moves that should really raise eyebrows, like Explosion, which could easily prove lethal in the wrong situation. You probably don’t want to get on a nuzleaf’s bad side. But hey, there’s some good news on that front. For one, as previously alluded to, it seems like thos species prefers to scare off intruders rather than fight them. If you do find yourself on the receiving end of a nuzleaf’s attack, try to grab their nose. Nuzleafs’ noses are the center of all their sensory functions (Violet): grabbing a nuzleaf’s nose renders them powerless (Emerald).

Overall, I don’t think this pokémon is the best choice for a pet. They’re a naturally solitary and territorial bunch that prefer to stay away from humans and even delight in terrifying them. If you think you could melt their cold heart, go for it, but don’t say I didn’t warn you!

we're back! for those who don't know, i'm putting together songs that i think fit each of the life series winners, and they're either songs i've seen work really really well in animatics already or songs that would probably work really well, but are less popular or not associated with this fandom (yet)

i'll be linking+listing them here as well as providing little snippets of explanation for why i think the song fits, but i don't feel like making actual spotify playlists or smth, so if anyone else wants to do that, be my guest.

2. Two - Sleeping at Last: as i mentioned i had some trouble finding songs for scott since i dont watch his pov too often, so some of these are less exclusively last life and more just his character in general. that being said, i do feel like this still fits to an extent for LL!Scott

Sweetheart, you look a little tired When did you last eat? Come in and make yourself right at home Stay as long as you need (this is scott's total eldest sibling energy, always helping and trying to be friends before anything- ex: taking in cleo, being friendly to scar)

You know I'll take my heart clean apart if it helps yours beat (this applies more after last life, see: the many many many times he offers to sacrifice himself, but also the fact that he refuses to betray his friends as the boogeyman)

3. Constellations - The Oh Hellos: at first this one was only here for the star symbolism, but after listening to it a couple more times it does fit pretty well (also the oh hellos is very scottagecore)

'Cause like constellations a million years away Every good intention, every good intention Is interpolation, a line we drew in the array Looking for the faces Looking for the shapes in the silence (despite all his efforts to maintain alliances throughout the series, everything inevitably falls apart in the chaos of the finale)

Like constellations imploding in the night Everything is turning, everything is turning The shapes that you drew may change beneath a different light And everything you thought you knew Will fall apart, but you'll be all right (LL was really the only series in which they made a point to isolate the reds- in DL, there was always a pair, and alliances stayed solid despite name color in LimL and SL- but in LL, alliances could be torn apart so quickly, loyalties constantly changing which made it hard to trust others and that shows why scott's loyalty stood out)

4. How to Be a Heartbreaker - Marina and the Diamonds: this is another one that isn't exclusively LL, i just had to put one in abt scotts many ex's.

Rule number one is that you gotta have fun But, baby, when you're done, you gotta be the first to run Rule number two, just don't get attached to Somebody you could lose (i see these "rules" kind of as lessons learned from each season instead, like things he tells himself he'll do next time, but because of his loyal and caring nature, never can)

How to be a heartbreaker Boys they like the look of danger We'll get him falling for a stranger A player, singing I lo-lo-love you At least I think I do (really like i said, a play on the ex's)

5. The Garden - The Crane Wives: here it is, the obligatory crane wives song

Put your ear to my heart or set your teeth against my throat Give me something pretty to wear beneath my blood-stained clothes (something abt this line is just very scott to me)

Lay me down Pour the dirt into our bed Tell the crows They can have their pound of flesh The ghosts at the window echo all our quiet prayers When they come for us, they'll come with hammers and nails My darling, the devil knows my name My name My name (this comes from the things i've seen about how the watchers hate scott, the watchers here symbolized as "the crows" and "the devil")

6. A Terrible Ride - Lizard Boy: this one is an animatic recommendation! here's the animatic -also i think this is applies to most of the winners very angst

I used to be calm But now this ticking bomb is gonna go off (the way he goes after ren for revenge after pearl's death)

I fought and fought hard And I could've died But I got scarred A terrible ride Ride This game was not fun I thought it was right Because I won Was it worth the fight? Fight? (WATCH THE ANIMATIC)

Soooo I know I should be making art for my own au but- but.. I have no excuses- but yeah this is a space pirate au by @bluiex and @wasted-by-someone

So I read through all the blog posts and the fic so far and I had a think- what if- now this doesn't need to happen but it has been existing in my brain so I'm putting it out there. So what if..

Later on as grian finishes the Canon, he leaves as promised he's allowed to leave. And he does, he returns to the academy and tells doc about the kidnapping thing tho he left out a lot of info.

Months go by and grian is back to his usual life tho it's going much better, one of his defense gadget ideas actually got made! It's being tested on actual ships! Heck the watchers of the academy even took notice of him, one of them even said how one day he might even be able to get himself promoted to be a watcher, something he wanted badly!

Yet he wasn't happy-

Especially when he got some news that shook him to his core.. his trap worked and scar was captured by the authorities. Doc told him this absolutely proud of his friend and all grian could do was force a smile.

That night he left a resignation on docs desk before silently leaving the academy wondering if he's making the right choice.

He knew he had to find the crew but where would they be, they have never been easy to track and his headache wasn't helping yet somehow he instinctively found them, how he wasn't sure.. his head was ringing but he ignored it. Of course when he got onto the ship a gun was the first thing pointed at him by pearl who looked like she felt hurt and betrayed, everyone looked conflicted and upset, maybe angry. Grian wasn't surprised, he knew mumbo would have found that that trap had been build by him after all they worked together for quite a while..

"Grian. What are you doing here? Haven't you done enough!?" Pearl sounded more betrayed than angry, she clearly wanted to be but she had started to see grian like a brother during his stay. Mumbo looked just as conflicted. Bdubs simply looked at him with hatred and a look of 'I told you so' as if he always knew that one say grian would be their enemy. Impulse looked calm but clearly not happy at all, he wasn't too close to grian but he liked the kid and enjoyed seeing how most the team seemed happy around him.

"..I'm sorry" grian didn't know what to say his vision felt blurry and he could barely think straight, the pain of his ringing head getting to him, he felt cold sweats as sounds began to distort- he noticed pearl rushing over and than everything went black.

By the time he woke up he felt much better tho he wondered why everything was so loud. Mumbo was the first to notice him wake up and he quickly went to check his condition asking if he was in pain.

"I'm fine but what happened?" Mumbo looked unsure how to answer, he looked like he hadn't slept for a while, many books laying around about vex magic, mumbo must have stayed by his side while he was unconscious. Finally mumbo decided to grab a mirror and simply show him and when grian looked in the mirror he quickly noticed the elf like ears "huh!? What the!?" As he freaked out some things like the books in the room began to slightly levitate and shake. "Why is this happening?!" He was concerned, why did his body change, why did stuff start moving along with his freak out???

"..because scar bound your souls together"

But yeah I've been thinking too much, not a great writer but ehhhhhhhh sorry for those waiting to hear about my au xD

reader appearing in Game of Thrones era is gonna be like a hallelujah for the guys that didn't get her last time. it's like their second chance. And the youngins too, they've heard so much about Reader and they've always assumed that it would take another hundred years for her to show up but nope. she's her with her baby (theon).

she's the one who raises Theon in Winterfell. Im pretty sure that guy had pride and self-worth/self-esteem issues in the OG series. Well reader's here and she looks at those in the eye and just says "No".

Man, her time at Winterfell's gonna be awkward as hell— Like Ned was pretty chill back in the day, but Lyanna's a pretty sure subject and Ned used to have a little puppy crush on the reader so interacting with Cat is um.... yeah awkward. Reader WISHES she were in Dorne instead.

(IN THIS AU ELIA AND HER KIDS NEVER DIED SHE'S SAFE, HAPPY AND LOVED WITH HER FAMILY IN DORNE)

The real chaos starts when the Robert and his fam go to Winterfell after Jon Arryn's death tho. Bobby B didn't marry Cersei cuz Lyanna's still kickin but the psych damage she went through in the Rebellion makes her into someone like Cersei. Reader's not having a good time, she's like: "i should've taken Theon and jumped under the waves while I still could" BUT SHE PERSEVERES IT'S FOR THEON OF COURSE SHE DOES. Reader's going through her Mom/Big Sister arc this Era and it gives her strength she never had previously

Actually, as much as it would be awkward, it's not, because is not the only one who's got a crush on the girl...Catelyn does too 😌

Now to the story

15 years had passed since the Rebellion ended and Robert Baratheon was named King of the 7 Kingdoms.

The Demigoddess since then, returned to the Iron Islands to stay away from everything, but she still wanted to be on Land. Her father allowed if she remained with the Greyjoys and the ironborn. She would also exchange letters with an old friend from Dorne, Elia Martell, who was hostage with the pearl back at the rebellion.

She kept her promise for 6 years, when the Greyjoy's rebellion happened and Theon Greyjoy was taken as hostage by the Starks, the princess went after him.

The pearl saw the young boy as her own child, and couldn't leave him alone in foreigner lands. Even if she knew that it meant to go against her father.

So, to keep everyone from committing war for her another time, she convinced Ned Stark to keep her away from prying eyes and in exchange she would be responsible for Theon. Ned reluctantly accepted, for he and his wife both had feelings for Sea princess and his sister, who was now Queen, hated her.

The Demigoddess spended the next few years taking care of not just Theon, but also all the other kids in Winterfell, she had a heart for all of them, without exception.

But the true problem was when Robert discovered that his once beloved was residing in Winterfell, far away from her father, and Ned never told him.

That angered the man, who was married to a cheap version of the real deal that the Demigoddess was, he immediately went to visit Winterfell.

The Starks immediately knew that she needed to be hidden before Robert arrived.

Info dumping rn cause I can’t seem to draw anything and I needed to engage in my au somehow.

There’s a lot I’d like to draw in my au that I haven’t been able to, particularly how Steven would entertain himself on Homeworld. He’s a small human in a giant palace with no purpose to busy himself with, of course he gets up to things when he’s not with Star.

And this was stuff he did before Connie, she had no idea how good at sneaking around Steven was till later.

Obviously it would be hard to get around without being noticed, I think Steven also wouldn’t enjoy the gawking stares when he wasn’t being picked up and brought back to (Star’s… Quarters? Chamber? I dunno) his room. But also occasionally some gem would get brave and be like oh wow Star’s “pet” is so adorable let me go say hi! Which is also uncomfortable bc who wants to be dehumanized?

Anyway getting off track here, Steven would be able to get around by going through secret pathways that led pretty much anywhere, I’m calling them the Pearl Pathways for now. I got inspired by the servants’ staircases, which were in Victorian houses of certain sizes. Apparently they were used because servants were expected to be out of sight when they were moving around (I haven’t done much research). Which is messed up, but I feel like gems would have a similar opinion of pearls. So I broadened the concept. And I think Steven would totally be allowed to enter them. Orchid probably introduced him to all the local pearls, and they could understand his experience of needing/wanting to stay out of sight, so he became a bit of an honorary pearl and was allowed entry. Which btw, pearls aren’t allowed to explore any hobbies or have any fun, so I imagine they get by by sharing all the tea they gather from standing by their gems all the time. And Steven totally gets to hear all the gossip, he knows all about the “scandalous” fusions, and the opinions of higher ranking gems that would never be spoken otherwise. If he was desperate and needed something done, he’d have blackmail. Lol

I honestly think Steven could befriend anyone, and with all those secret halls, I bet he found his way to those sentient gems made into architecture. The show never talked about them much, but I think they were harvested gems used to build the palaces or something of the like. I bet they get bored. And I bet they enjoy Steven’s company and laugh at all his corny clown jokes.

When Steven isn’t traveling the palace talking to pearls or architecture gems (I don’t know what else to call them), I honestly think he’d be reading. Orchid definitely taught him gemglyph. So he’d sometimes just read up on gem reports or the empire’s history on his (organic-accessible) screen.

And then when he gets bored of doing that he’d go find Star and beg him to hang out with him. And Star wants to hang out with Steven, he really does, but he can’t afford to neglect his court and god forbid anger the other diamonds. So then Star would see if Spinel could hang out with Steven. And that’s like a last resort because they kind of trouble they could cause could be catastrophic.

Steven is a total extrovert and overall just loves getting to know people. Star is the exact opposite, he doesn’t enjoy talking to people much but I also wonder if introversion and extroversion would even exist in gems? Like I bet they have their preferences regarding socializing but do they have like levels of energy that is based on how much they interact with others? Either way, Star isn’t a big fan of big groups of ppl or making tons of friends, he’s just a workaholic and his work involves talking to tons of gems. He doesn’t mind Steven’s presence though. Sometimes he’s not up to chatting endlessly or even hearing Steven go on talking from subject to subject (he can be up for it tho and it happens), and they’ll just do their own thing in each other’s company.

Anyways I’m done ranting now, if you made it this far congrats I hope this was somewhat entertaining.
