After a conversation with my coworker, I've come to the realization that Cosmo Sheldrake's music better fits the image alot of people have been creating of Hozier than his own music.
"I live in the shrubbery for that's all I crave / I don't want these excitements to see me to my grave"
This piece was inspired by and uses a quote from the Cosmo Sheldrake song "Tardigrade song"

Here is the piece before glazing, I used real dried moss as well as rocks to get the texture on the moss. Unfortunately I lost a lot of the texture in areas where I accidentally added too much glaze. I experimented with using glaze chips in the background for the stars/bits of moss.
Fun Fact: This exploration of myth encourages the listener to not simply accept the world they live in but to challenge and stretch their imagination to come up with something new and beautiful. The song ultimately suggests that myths, while fantastical and mysterious, give us a better understanding of our place in a larger, more interconnected universe.
me: Well since you asked - book!legolas has major Cosmo Sheldrake Energy. Like seriously, tell me you can't imagine Legolas 'I go to fetch the Sun' Greenleaf bouncing around his haunted forest home to The Moss or Come Along.
"Well legend has it that we're all just doomed and we've ruined our society.
Well legend has it that we dug our tomb which we'll lie in for all eternity."
I've made it a goal for the following months to make a character for as many non th chonny jash covers as I can.
first up: The Moss.
I love them so much and probably would do anything to protect them
fun fact: the main 2 colors are blue and green! is that a chonny jash reference??????????.
Yo so, I feel like The Moss by Cosmo Sheldrake feels kind of like how Niklaus tries to overwhelm and intimidate the albatrio in his little meetings, even when he decides to give them info, idk could just be me
I really enjoyed this piece, I love nature and rain. Lyrics are from The Moss by Cosmo Sheldrake.
[ID: A digital art piece of a forest in the rain. Dark brown text in the top right corner reads, “Legend has it that the moss grows on the North side of the trees” White text in the bottom right reads, “Well, legend has it when the rains come down all the worms come up to breathe.” /end ID]
