rant incoming because I'm going insane:

i will never ever understand why am fans have so much beef with milex shippers.

i have been in SO many fandoms throughout my life, I've been obsessed with SO many bands whose members are shipped to the point of insanity, and it was never a problem. sure, some people didn't like the ships, but why are so many am fans acting like this is something unique? bts, mcr, dan and phil, harry potter, I've seen fucking everything. every other fandom in the world are just this obsessed with their ships, trying to prove that two men are fucking, posting theories and so on. shipping was always a thing in fandoms and always will be, especially if we're talking about male celebrities and teenage girls.

having said this, the kind of fandom i have never been in is one where grown ass women bring this much toxicity to the community and behave like children. there are hundreds of celebrities whose girlfriends are not liked by the fans, but no girlfriend ever engaged this much with the haters, probably because they realised that it would only make things worse, and the fans would hate them even more.

we could've had some peaceful end of the tour content, but no, we have this instead. every few months something has to be done by a certain someone in order for people to pay attention to her, and so that in the end fans will forget the reason they're fans and engage in stupid shit like this, defeating the whole purpose of being a music fan.

all this drama is slowly making me not want to have anything to do with am or the fandom anymore. if not for miles and him being connected to am, i would've stopped giving a fuck about alex years ago (technically not through his fault, but then also because of him). this whole thing just makes me sad because miles does not deserve to be associated with these people and the fact that he will never be able to get rid of them is so not it.

I used to click on classicallyabby videos and watch the first 30 seconds or so (adblock on of course) just bc her voice & cadence as she talks is pleasing to me somehow. she annunciates so clearly. I was especially a fan of how she would greet everyone with "hello beautiful ladies!" bc the way she said it flowed very nicely, like water in a serene mountain stream. it was like a brief rush of whatever ASMR likers get out of those videos I assume. but then she changed her greeting to "hello classic crew" and I have never clicked on a video since. hate the way she says that one. it's sharp & tinny. ugly. to make matters worse the whole reason she changed it was to make male viewers feel welcomed which is so despicable.

With how I'm planning my fics, since Menelaus and Agamemnon spend some years at Tyndarius' palace, I kind of have them all be childhood friends in a way before Agamemnon and Menelaus take back their kingdom (Aga is around 19, Menelaus 15 when they leave. 5-6 years later they get married.) With how their marriages work out when talking about "Old times", Odysseus is the "odd one out" as he was the only one who didn't grow up alongside them. The poor guy is left out.

Lucky Lucky Ladybug likes to justify her own hatred of Chat Noir to herself often, and she likes to do it by reminding herself of just how useless he was as a team member.

Chat Noir had a habit of tripping on everything, to the point where it got annoying. Usually he tripped on his own tail, but sometimes it was empty cans, on the rooftops, or even nothing at all. He'd get tangled up in practically anything that could do such a thing, becoming more of a whimpering damsel in distress than a sidekick. He was so clumsy, and she hated it.

Chat Noir also seemed to never be on the same page as anyone else. He'd make jokes and puns that nobody understood, and then he'd obsessively explain the context as if anybody had ever cared to hear him talk. He'd be overly friendly with everyone, even flirtatious at first, but it was all too stilted and gauche to ever be charming. He was so awkward, and she hated it.

Chat Noir would fall behind when chasing akumas, needing everyone else to stop as he caught his breath, panting out the same old excuses of him failing to stick a landing or twisting his ankle. He always seemed to screw things up, no matter how easy the task he was assigned actually was. He was so unlucky, and she hated it.

But can we really trust her? When she doesn't remember every time she made a mistake or fell down? When she had her friends by her side, who were willing to help her back up no matter what?

No. That doesn't matter. If it did... it would mean Chat Noir wasn't as bad. It would mean he didn't deserve what Lucky did to him.

Most of all.. it would mean He was innocent... and she hated that.

So she just decided not to think it.
